- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shooter Spice. It's time.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hello, Hello, welcome to the Not even nic Show. Have
- 0:16Speaker 2: your host Rubs Shooter. And it is Wednesday, which means
- 0:20Speaker 2: our dear friend Donny Meecham joins us from La Sunny La.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Are you in your itsy bitsy teeny bikini?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Hah? I will be this weekend and pending down a
- 0:31Speaker 1: Palm Springs. I bought a tiny black speedo just for
- 0:35Speaker 1: the occasion. Out there, suns out, buns out, that's what
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's going to be.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Oh weekend, long play Palm Springs. I have a friend
- 0:43Speaker 2: that lives there, a famous friends you know who it
- 0:45Speaker 2: is who lives in Palm Springs. I think it's the
- 0:48Speaker 2: gayest place in the world, Like it's a gay almost
- 0:51Speaker 2: retirement community.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Yes, it is a thousand degrees if you know what.
- 0:56Speaker 1: He's been to Pum Springs at all times. But it's
- 0:59Speaker 1: just as beautiful oaces. You're driving through the desert, there's
- 1:03Speaker 1: nothing but tumbleweeds and cactuses, and then all of a
- 1:06Speaker 1: sudden you're like, oh bo, here's Palm Spreaked and it's
- 1:09Speaker 1: fabulous and it's clean, and it's full of gay men
- 1:14Speaker 1: who have jobs and money and real things going on.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It's fabulous. Are you looking for a sugar daddy this weekend?
- 1:21Speaker 1: To oh, I take a splendidady At this point, I
- 1:24Speaker 1: just want to lead a bit of sweet I don't
- 1:25Speaker 1: need too much money. I got my own job.
- 1:28Speaker 2: But a splendid daddy just well, we know if the
- 1:31Speaker 2: weekend was a success or not, because she'll be back
- 1:34Speaker 2: on the show next Wednesday. If you failed, but if
- 1:36Speaker 2: you met some mod we probably won't see you again.
- 1:39Speaker 2: B D. Let's jump into the show. What time is it,
- 1:42Speaker 2: my friends? It's tea time. Thanks story at the top
- 1:45Speaker 2: of the show, the Royal family actually wondering why did
- 1:48Speaker 2: Harry even bother to come to King Charles's coronation. So
- 1:51Speaker 2: Harry's brief trip to the UK for the coronation on
- 1:55Speaker 2: Saturday left members of the Royal family wondering why did
- 1:59Speaker 2: he even to show up. A source close to the
- 2:02Speaker 2: family told Vanity Fair fancy pants quote one makes one's choices.
- 2:07Speaker 2: To be honest, there wasn't much talk of Harry at all.
- 2:11Speaker 2: The focus was very much on the occasion. In fact,
- 2:14Speaker 2: the Saurce even went on to tell the outlet that
- 2:17Speaker 2: Harry did not see or speak to really anybody in
- 2:22Speaker 2: his estranged family. He did speak to his cousins because
- 2:25Speaker 2: he sat next to them, but he didn't speak to
- 2:27Speaker 2: his dad, didn't speak to Camilla, didn't speak to William,
- 2:29Speaker 2: didn't speak to Kate, and ultimately a lot of the
- 2:32Speaker 2: work in Royals are questioning why did he even bother
- 2:36Speaker 2: to come so he was there for less than twenty
- 2:39Speaker 2: four hours. He arrived in London Friday afternoon and he
- 2:42Speaker 2: left pretty much after the ceremony. He did stop by
- 2:46Speaker 2: Buckingham Palace, but I think that was just to change
- 2:48Speaker 2: his clothes. I know he used it like a bathroom
- 2:51Speaker 2: he had to be. He went to book at the palace,
- 2:53Speaker 2: he didn't really speak to anybody there and he left
- 2:56Speaker 2: within ten minutes. Now they are saying that Charles is
- 3:00Speaker 2: saddened that he couldn't have shared this important moment with
- 3:05Speaker 2: his youngest son more than he did. Charles really loves Harry.
- 3:08Speaker 2: He does. He might not be the best dad. He
- 3:10Speaker 2: might have made mistakes in the past, he might have
- 3:12Speaker 2: been very cold. In Harry's book, he describes an awful
- 3:16Speaker 2: moment when his dad tells him his mom has died
- 3:19Speaker 2: and his dad didn't even hug him so I do
- 3:21Speaker 2: get it. Charles is not warm and affectionate, but he
- 3:24Speaker 2: does love him in his own way. Was it worth it, Dollie?
- 3:27Speaker 2: This is a really long trip. This is not you
- 3:30Speaker 2: shooting out Palm Springs for a dirty weekend. This is
- 3:34Speaker 2: getting on a plane and flying for hours and hours
- 3:37Speaker 2: and hours just for less than twenty four hours. Was
- 3:39Speaker 2: it worth it?
- 3:40Speaker 1: British people in general, no offense. Rob aren't known for
- 3:43Speaker 1: being the most affectionate, aren't known for being the most warm.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I mean, my grandma was British and she, you know,
- 3:50Speaker 1: hugs weren't her thing like growing up. She was never
- 3:52Speaker 1: a big hugger whatever. Second of all, I kind of
- 3:57Speaker 1: see what they're saying here, and I love that it's
- 3:58Speaker 1: source aka Princess Anne, but I don't know that far
- 4:02Speaker 1: facts to one spilling the news. But she hates him,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and uh, I could see Harry's not busy. I could
- 4:09Speaker 1: see if Harry was shooting a show, if Harry was
- 4:12Speaker 1: doing things back here in La or back here in California,
- 4:15Speaker 1: He's like, oh, I need to get back, and you know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: I have an episode of asvu.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Harry's sweetly, You're.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Not really doing anything, really doing you have nothing going.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I can to stay two days, you can stay a week.
- 4:27Speaker 2: I know it's so complicated because Harry couldn't win here.
- 4:30Speaker 2: If he didn't go, would all be slagging him off.
- 4:33Speaker 2: And if he did go, what she did was saying
- 4:36Speaker 2: it wasn't enough. So I think he couldn't really win here.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It's tricky. Families are really tricky. They're difficult. Even great
- 4:42Speaker 2: families have their ups and downs, and so this is
- 4:45Speaker 2: such a hard moment. You have to be there, you
- 4:48Speaker 2: have to go for this, but it is a real event.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It's not that easy. I try to make things that
- 4:55Speaker 2: I expect people to show up for things I expect
- 4:59Speaker 2: people to do, I try to make them as easy
- 5:01Speaker 2: as possible. When I got married, I got married in
- 5:05Speaker 2: New York, not some destination so that everybody could come in,
- 5:10Speaker 2: get off an aeroplane and go to the hotel. I
- 5:12Speaker 2: wasn't getting married in tingbook two. Now, London's a very
- 5:16Speaker 2: easy destination too, so it's easy to have a coronation there.
- 5:19Speaker 2: But Harry is the one that traveled I think the
- 5:21Speaker 2: furthest to come to this coronation. He had to be there.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I probably would have tried to stay a couple of
- 5:27Speaker 2: days there and seen my dad today tomorrow. It's really difficult,
- 5:31Speaker 2: which is why we want to know what you have
- 5:33Speaker 2: to think about this. Let's do our poll of the day.
- 5:36Speaker 2: The Royal family is wondering why did Prince Harry even
- 5:39Speaker 2: bother to come to Charles's coronation? Was the trip worth it?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 5:46Speaker 2: Our facebook page is Naughty and Me. Sure to check
- 5:50Speaker 2: back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey Donny Love, what
- 5:54Speaker 2: are you working on now? Look?
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't normally agree with miss bethany brain's.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Annoyed, but here she's she's not just something.
- 6:04Speaker 1: So she is a ripping Kim Zolziak and kroy A Berman.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So they filed for divorce. You know their marriage is
- 6:11Speaker 1: over and she's telling him pay your fin bills?
- 6:17Speaker 2: Wrong in New York, Stay, she's not wrong.
- 6:19Speaker 1: She went on TikTok and she was saying the estrange
- 6:21Speaker 1: pair have always been people who seem like they're spending
- 6:24Speaker 1: more than they have. And she went on to say,
- 6:27Speaker 1: because there's news coming out of TMC that they owe
- 6:29Speaker 1: more than one million dollars to the I R S.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That's a lot of mone's at an IRS.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Why don't you get nervous on your bank account? I
- 6:36Speaker 2: get nervous if I'm one hundred over drawn, I notice
- 6:40Speaker 2: a million, I would notice. I definitely by the time
- 6:42Speaker 2: I got to three hundred thousand, I'd be like donn
- 6:44Speaker 2: and we got to cut back. I'm a spending here.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Maybe by the time we got for five thousand, I'd
- 6:48Speaker 2: be worried. But to get to a million, it's a
- 6:50Speaker 2: lot of money, and it's it's the IRIS.
- 6:53Speaker 1: It's not like you owe AMX, you owe the I are.
- 6:56Speaker 1: They're coming for the money, sweetie. And you know, Brethley
- 6:59Speaker 1: went on to say he's on a football salary, she's
- 7:01Speaker 1: on a housewife's salary, and they're spending like the planes
- 7:05Speaker 1: going down. So I think what she's saying here is
- 7:08Speaker 1: going on to Addie is like, this is a lot
- 7:11Speaker 1: of the housewives.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah, make this mistake.
- 7:13Speaker 1: They're on the show. They think they're famous, and yeah
- 7:16Speaker 1: they're pseudoble and they are a little people's house.
- 7:18Speaker 2: They're making a little money. It's bad. It's bad. Bethany's
- 7:21Speaker 2: right here. We don't normally agree with Bethany on this show.
- 7:24Speaker 2: She's right. The difficult part of this is Bethany tries
- 7:26Speaker 2: has tried for years to walk away from Housewives, and
- 7:29Speaker 2: I think Bethany has finally realized the reason that she's
- 7:32Speaker 2: in the media, the reason we want to talk to her,
- 7:33Speaker 2: the reason we care about what she has to say,
- 7:36Speaker 2: is because of Housewives. So she's leaning into really her
- 7:39Speaker 2: base here, it's Housewives. When Bethany does all her be
- 7:42Speaker 2: kind stuff or her self help books, so even that
- 7:45Speaker 2: cooking stuff, I don't care. I want her talking about Housewives.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And when she does that, that is her base. She
- 7:50Speaker 2: gets me riled up. And often when she does talk
- 7:53Speaker 2: about that base, that subject, she knows she's often right.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But Bethanie made a lot of money not from Housewives.
- 8:00Speaker 2: She made a lot of money by selling that liquor
- 8:02Speaker 2: which she promoted on Housewives. So I do understand how
- 8:05Speaker 2: the housewives and money is all tied together for Bethany,
- 8:08Speaker 2: but it's not the same truth for the other ladies.
- 8:12Speaker 2: You can't live like Bethany or some of these housewives
- 8:16Speaker 2: try to live on the money from the show. Let's
- 8:18Speaker 2: be honest, Kathy Hilton had money. Her housewife money probably
- 8:23Speaker 2: gets her what a new lawn furniture like it's not.
- 8:26Speaker 2: You know, Lisa van der Pump had money. She didn't
- 8:29Speaker 2: become rich because of the housewives. She became more successful
- 8:33Speaker 2: and more famous, but she was already stinking rich. That's
- 8:36Speaker 2: the problem with the New York ladies. They're not quite
- 8:38Speaker 2: as rich as the Beverly Hills. I've been to their apartments.
- 8:42Speaker 2: They live in lovely, lovely apartments, but they're no nicer
- 8:44Speaker 2: than yours or mine, like they live in one two
- 8:47Speaker 2: bedroom apartments. Sonya Morgan has that entire townhouse. I've been there,
- 8:51Speaker 2: but it's falling down. It needs a lot of renovation,
- 8:53Speaker 2: lots of work done on it. Living beyond your means
- 8:57Speaker 2: do you do it? I sometimes feel like I have
- 8:59Speaker 2: to pay all the time, even when months I'm struggling.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So if I go out for drinks with friends or dinner,
- 9:06Speaker 2: I normally pick up the bill and it takes me
- 9:09Speaker 2: a lot to say let's split it. And I'm getting
- 9:11Speaker 2: much better at that. I know it's a good job
- 9:13Speaker 2: you moved to La Donnie. I'd be making you pay.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But what about you, Donny? Do you feel like you
- 9:17Speaker 2: live within your means?
- 9:20Speaker 1: I do now, I didn't always used to when I
- 9:22Speaker 1: lived in La the first time. I was young and
- 9:24Speaker 1: I was like, oh my gosh, I'm in Hollywood and
- 9:26Speaker 1: I got to go to these nice, fancy places, and
- 9:29Speaker 1: I got a crapdown of credit card debt and it
- 9:32Speaker 1: took me years to get out of it. But that's
- 9:35Speaker 1: not a problem anymore because I'm an adult and mature.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But I'm like you when I go out with my friends.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I have a job. We don't make a ton of money,
- 9:43Speaker 1: rob especially you know doing this podcast. You know we
- 9:45Speaker 1: make good means, yes, we do well, but we're not rich.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm not rich, And but I go out and I'm like,
- 9:51Speaker 1: you know what, I got this because I feel like
- 9:54Speaker 1: it's a nice thing to do. There are times where
- 9:56Speaker 1: I tell myself and my friends will be like, Donnie,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you don't have to You don't have to buy a
- 9:59Speaker 1: shot for everybody. And when people say that, the answer
- 10:02Speaker 1: is yes, thank you, I don't and then me split it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I know, I'm going to see Lady Bunny tonight and
- 10:06Speaker 1: I got the Ticketsbulous, I got the tickets. So I'm
- 10:10Speaker 1: expecting Alex, who I'm going with, to pick up the drinks, right,
- 10:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm expecting in my mind.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I'll let you know what happens tomorrow. I know she's
- 10:18Speaker 2: listening to Hell alone. Okay, moving along. Talking about money,
- 10:21Speaker 2: Sherry Shepherd helped Lonnie Love and Ryl Underwood get bigger
- 10:25Speaker 2: money out of their talk shows. So she said that
- 10:27Speaker 2: when she was on the View, she wanted to pay
- 10:30Speaker 2: it forward because Rosie o'donald did that for her when
- 10:33Speaker 2: she got her job on the View. Rosi o' donald
- 10:35Speaker 2: called up Sherry and said, this is what all the
- 10:37Speaker 2: ladies make and ask for a similar figure figure out
- 10:41Speaker 2: what you are worth, what you believe you are worth.
- 10:43Speaker 2: But it just gives you a parameter of a negotiation,
- 10:47Speaker 2: you know, within the ballpark of what you can ask for. Well,
- 10:50Speaker 2: now she's revealing after Rosie did that for her, she
- 10:52Speaker 2: did it for Lonnie Love when Lonnie was on the reel.
- 10:55Speaker 2: She called Lonnie and really talked with her, helped her
- 10:59Speaker 2: discuss figure out what she should ask for. And when
- 11:02Speaker 2: Cheryl Underwood joined the Talk, Sherry Shepherd called her too,
- 11:06Speaker 2: and she thinks it's paying it forward, she said, which
- 11:09Speaker 2: is interesting that when Jenny McCarthy joined the View, Jenny
- 11:12Speaker 2: did not tell them her salary, and Jenny was making
- 11:15Speaker 2: more than them because she negotiated it, and she said
- 11:18Speaker 2: that's not Jenny's fault, not at all, but she said
- 11:20Speaker 2: it's not the way she operates. She also helped out
- 11:24Speaker 2: Sunny Houstin on the View to negotiate her salary. It's tricky,
- 11:29Speaker 2: isn't it, because when it comes to money, we're all
- 11:31Speaker 2: a little bit sensitive about it. But I think that
- 11:33Speaker 2: if you go into a new job, it's good to
- 11:35Speaker 2: know what the people around you who are doing the
- 11:38Speaker 2: same job I'm making. And I might might make a
- 11:40Speaker 2: little less, I might not have as much experience, but
- 11:43Speaker 2: I don't want to make a lot less. If it's
- 11:45Speaker 2: the same job, we should all be sort of within
- 11:49Speaker 2: the same bracket. Donnie, how are you about asking for
- 11:53Speaker 2: money at jobs? Do you talk to your coworkers? Where
- 11:56Speaker 2: are you?
- 11:56Speaker 1: So couple things it asking money and money and is
- 12:00Speaker 1: a tricky topic. It's hard to talk about. So and
- 12:04Speaker 1: the job I have now, I host a show, but
- 12:07Speaker 1: there's a counterpart to me who also who does the
- 12:10Speaker 1: same exact job that I do. Me and her were
- 12:13Speaker 1: honest right out the bat. We were like, look, we're
- 12:14Speaker 1: gonna get this out of the way. We do the
- 12:16Speaker 1: same job. Let's make sure that we're making the same
- 12:18Speaker 1: amount of money because it's only fair. And so now
- 12:22Speaker 1: we're negotiating, we're in the process of renegotiating, we're making
- 12:26Speaker 1: sure we're sticking together and that way we both make
- 12:29Speaker 1: the same amount of money. Also, here, I think there
- 12:32Speaker 1: are two women that really deserve to be you know,
- 12:36Speaker 1: called out first, Rosie O'Donnell for reaching out in the
- 12:39Speaker 1: first place and wanting to help Sherry Shepherd. I think
- 12:41Speaker 1: that's an amazing thing. But also what is Sherry Lottie
- 12:47Speaker 1: love Sonny Houston. These are women of color, and I
- 12:50Speaker 1: think that that is beautiful too, because women are notoriously paid.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Like That's what I'm saying here. I've got some friends
- 12:55Speaker 2: who are a bit shady about this. They wouldn't tell me.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I know the friends that if I ask them bullpart
- 13:00Speaker 2: what sort of figure they wouldn't they wouldn't tell me,
- 13:01Speaker 2: And that's their right. I'm not gonna beat them up
- 13:04Speaker 2: for that. But I help. I really do try to help.
- 13:07Speaker 2: And we've got this wild story that Megan Markel was
- 13:10Speaker 2: caught wearing Princess Diana's Cartier watch on that hike. So
- 13:13Speaker 2: remember yesterday our lead story was while the coronation was
- 13:16Speaker 2: going on. Donnie Mega mirchl went for a hike, and
- 13:19Speaker 2: some people are saying that she might have done that deliberately.
- 13:21Speaker 2: We don't always see Megan out and about in La Puff.
- 13:24Speaker 2: She got papped. It's amazing, isn't it. On this hike
- 13:27Speaker 2: she had a photograph taken. People have looked at the
- 13:29Speaker 2: picture very carefully now, and she might be sending a message.
- 13:32Speaker 2: She was wearing Princess Diana's Cartier watch how often do
- 13:36Speaker 2: you hike in Cartier? And also too, she was wearing
- 13:41Speaker 2: a tennis bracelet that the King is believed to have
- 13:46Speaker 2: given to Diana. So I think she's sending messages here.
- 13:50Speaker 1: What do you think Mega Marco, We've said it before,
- 13:54Speaker 1: is the smartest woman in the world.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Game.
- 13:58Speaker 1: She's her own pr pro. Yeah, she does it need appear?
- 14:01Speaker 1: She says, you know what, I don't need to go
- 14:03Speaker 1: to the coronation. Me not being there a gets me
- 14:06Speaker 1: more pressed. And then b right after the coronation, I'm
- 14:09Speaker 1: gonna wear something. Yes, Diane.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You know she was scruggling through the boxes.
- 14:15Speaker 1: She was like, Lily, bet check that box over there
- 14:18Speaker 1: by that.
- 14:18Speaker 2: What it's It reminded us all about Princess Diana on
- 14:23Speaker 2: a day when the royals did not want to talk
- 14:26Speaker 2: about Diana. She is genius and I say that with respect. Gosh,
- 14:31Speaker 2: can we imagine if we hired her to be the
- 14:32Speaker 2: publicist for The Naughty but Nice Show, You'd be a
- 14:35Speaker 2: star in Palm Springs. Donnie, this weekend you could borrow
- 14:38Speaker 2: Diana's Cartier watch to wear with your throng.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Oh this is I'm telling you, this is the truest thing.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Don't mess with Meghan Markle, don't.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Mess with megamarcle. How are we gonna take a quick break?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Listen to that advice and we will be right back.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Naughty Show. I'm the shooter with
- 14:53Speaker 2: our dear friend Donny Meecham. Hey, Donnie, let's get to
- 14:56Speaker 2: the polls, DA DA DA. Yesterday we talked about how
- 14:59Speaker 2: Mega Market was hiking with that Harry after skipping the coronation.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Did she stage this photograph? It's a crystal clear photograph
- 15:07Speaker 2: and now we know she's wearing Princess Diana's watching a
- 15:10Speaker 2: bracelet from Charles. Did she stage it? Eighty five percent
- 15:13Speaker 2: said yes, absolutely staged And you're not even judging it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: You're not saying this is the wrong thing to do,
- 15:18Speaker 2: but you do believe it is staged.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I do.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Don't forget to vote on today's Paul going to Twitter
- 15:23Speaker 2: page had naughty nice rob her Facebook page naughty goes
- 15:26Speaker 2: up and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear
- 15:30Speaker 2: your results. And now it's time for our Nicest of
- 15:35Speaker 2: the Day Now.
- 15:38Speaker 1: The only thing missing in that mega Marco photo was
- 15:40Speaker 1: her hiking with Oprah Winfrey. That would have made it
- 15:43Speaker 1: even more fabulous. Nicest of the day is Hoda Cottbee.
- 15:47Speaker 1: She's recalling begging a nurse to let her give her
- 15:51Speaker 1: daughter a bath during her hospital stay. So celebrating National
- 15:55Speaker 1: Nurses Week, Hoda reflected on their experiences with nurses while
- 15:58Speaker 1: at the hospital, including her time with daughter Hope in
- 16:01Speaker 1: the ICU. So I remember Hoda was out a lot
- 16:04Speaker 1: of the Today Show, and it come to find out
- 16:05Speaker 1: it was because her daughter had been in the hospital
- 16:08Speaker 1: and she was going I was just thinking about when
- 16:10Speaker 1: Hope was in the hospital. But one of those days
- 16:12Speaker 1: and I was sitting it was three am, just sitting
- 16:14Speaker 1: in the chair. This nurse walked in, put her hand
- 16:17Speaker 1: on my back, didn't even say anything, just sat there
- 16:20Speaker 1: for a minute, and I was like, oh my god,
- 16:23Speaker 1: I could feel myself like right at the time. Jenna
- 16:27Speaker 1: goes on to say, like an angel, hod it goes.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I remember I was there and I asked for a bath.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I wanted to give her a bath, and they could
- 16:33Speaker 1: only sponge her, and I said, please, I'm begging you,
- 16:36Speaker 1: I just want a bathroom my child. And I remember
- 16:38Speaker 1: got this little plastic thing and they put it in
- 16:40Speaker 1: the shower and put Hope in it, and I remembered
- 16:42Speaker 1: like that tiny thing, but it was everything at the time. Oh,
- 16:45Speaker 1: this is nurses truly are. They're a disguises. They're just
- 16:50Speaker 1: beautiful and they do hopeless work and nobody says thank you.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's not amazing even the medicine or their skills,
- 16:56Speaker 2: which they certainly have. It's their spirit, it's theirs, it's
- 17:00Speaker 2: who they are and nicest of the day and now
- 17:02Speaker 2: our noughties of the day. Prince Harry's ghostwriter is recalling
- 17:07Speaker 2: the biggest fight he had with Harry. So the person
- 17:10Speaker 2: that really wrote the book is saying he was on
- 17:12Speaker 2: a two am zoom call and they got into a
- 17:14Speaker 2: fight and it got really, really ugly. So there was
- 17:18Speaker 2: a particular passage in the book where Harry went through
- 17:21Speaker 2: grueling military exercises in England to prepare him to go
- 17:26Speaker 2: and fight. He went to Afghanistan and they pretended to
- 17:29Speaker 2: capture him. Terrorists pretended to capture him, and they said
- 17:32Speaker 2: vile things to him, including really ugly stuff about his mom.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And Harry wanted to end that passage with a comeback
- 17:40Speaker 2: that he gave one of the participants. The ghostwriter said,
- 17:43Speaker 2: let's keep that out, and Harry said, I really wanted
- 17:47Speaker 2: to do that because people have belittled my intellectual capabilities
- 17:51Speaker 2: my entire life, and this sort of flash of cleverness
- 17:55Speaker 2: proved that even after getting kicked and punched and deprived
- 17:58Speaker 2: of sleep, he had his wits about him. I say,
- 18:03Speaker 2: Harry is right. He should have kept it in. It's
- 18:05Speaker 2: his book, not yours. You have to remember that when
- 18:08Speaker 2: you hire a ghostwriter, they might write the book, but
- 18:10Speaker 2: it's still Harry's name on it, Harry's picture on it.
- 18:13Speaker 2: He should have won that battle. Hey, let's end with
- 18:17Speaker 2: a moment a rabb Robbie rub fifteen twenty minutes. We'd
- 18:21Speaker 2: love to give you all the celebrity gossip, but for
- 18:22Speaker 2: a moment or a little bit more deep. Here is
- 18:25Speaker 2: today's Moment of Rob. Folks who want the best for
- 18:29Speaker 2: you will never abandon you even when the times are tough.
- 18:34Speaker 2: It's really easy to be my friend when I'm flying high.
- 18:36Speaker 2: It's really easy to be my friend when I'm working
- 18:39Speaker 2: for Jennifer Lopez, when I'm waltzing around town doing the
- 18:42Speaker 2: Today Show and Good Morning America. It's harder to be
- 18:45Speaker 2: my friend when I'm not doing those things. And that's
- 18:47Speaker 2: when I know who my real friends are. Show up
- 18:51Speaker 2: for the good times, but also show up when the
