- 0:05I'm still right here by the water, and I wanna talk to the woman who is tired Not necessarily sleepy.
- 0:19Tired from carrying.
- 0:23You're the one who stays late because somebody else didn't finish You take care of Get yourself because it's easier than asking somebody else twice You step in, you figure it all out, you make sure everybody is okay at work at home in your relationships, in your family, maybe even in your marriage.
- 1:08And because you're capable, people have learned that you probably will.
- 1:16But love, just because you can carry it doesn't mean you were supposed to carry it all I wonder how many things you're carrying today simply because you became accustomed to being the one who could Don't answer that for me.
- 1:45I just want you to notice What came up when I asked?
- 1:59Because sometimes the woman everybody calls strong has been strong for so long that she doesn't realize she's exhausted And maybe she doesn't need somebody telling her what to put down.
- 2:20Maybe she needs enough room to finally recognize what she has been carrying.
- 2:27So love, your anchor for today is Matthew 11:28.
- 2:34"Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest." Love, that sounds like permission to me.
- 2:44Permission to stop believing everything has to sit on your shoulders.
- 2:49Permission to bring some of the weight over to God and let Him meet you there.
- 2:56So carry that into your week.
