- 0:09Speaker 2: world ransom for.

- 0:43Speaker 3: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the Sports Shop Show.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I am the Sportshock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you
- 0:52Speaker 3: as we rise and shine on this Monday morning after
- 0:57Speaker 3: football weekend. Babbyduser stopped typing. I mean, and that is
- 1:02Speaker 3: the truth. That's the truth, the whole truth, man, nothing
- 1:05Speaker 3: but the truth. Good morning to you out They are
- 1:08Speaker 3: glad to be here with you. What a big, long,
- 1:11Speaker 3: exciting weekend of sports we had. It's so funny too.
- 1:15Speaker 3: In this weekend. It really shows you how the will
- 1:19Speaker 3: of our society does move faster. Things do not hold
- 1:24Speaker 3: our consciousness really longer than about two days. We will
- 1:29Speaker 3: talk about that when we talk about to attack with
- 1:32Speaker 3: the OA. The Miami Dolphins quarterback. It was tragic news
- 1:36Speaker 3: Thursday night by Saturday morning, nobody was even reporting on
- 1:41Speaker 3: whether Toua was walking on his own or still had
- 1:45Speaker 3: his eyes open. And it had floated away as though
- 1:49Speaker 3: it had no more importance. How quickly things in our
- 1:53Speaker 3: society passed away. So, and that brings me to the astronauts.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Can we get a little more coverage that y'all left
- 1:59Speaker 3: them people in space? Come on you, Greg, is all
- 2:01Speaker 3: I want to know. We still have these people at
- 2:04Speaker 3: the space station, and y'all are pretending like they're not
- 2:07Speaker 3: up there. And by the time they come back, they're
- 2:10Speaker 3: going to be on mad their whole benefit package. They'll
- 2:14Speaker 3: never have to work again. That's how space time. Remember
- 2:18Speaker 3: it slows or something speed up fast.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Yeah, So they are already there in the quantity. They're
- 2:24Speaker 3: already on reach their retirement, check everything off at the movies.
- 2:30Speaker 3: They're good to go once they get back. But the
- 2:33Speaker 3: young lady and the young man, or or at least
- 2:35Speaker 3: when they left, they were young ladies, and they might
- 2:38Speaker 3: get back and be grandpa how we seem to be.
- 2:41Speaker 3: But those people, don't, forget, are still up in space
- 2:46Speaker 3: while we got billionaires taking space walks. Y'all couldn't just
- 2:49Speaker 3: go by there real quick, grab him. Then we have
- 2:52Speaker 3: some billionaire last week take a spacewalk.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Private space mission. He's astronauts.
- 2:57Speaker 3: He went. I'm saying, he went up high enough to
- 2:59Speaker 3: come to what they would say is space and then opening.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And when I went outside, and so y'all didn't want
- 3:07Speaker 1: to y'all didn't want to reach out to grab nobody hand.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I figured he could just hit the thrusters one more
- 3:12Speaker 1: time and just here we are over here.
- 3:15Speaker 8: Now, and then he might have been stuck up there.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Monday Night football tonight. The Eagles have decided to come home.
- 3:24Speaker 3: You know, they had flew out of the country last
- 3:27Speaker 3: week to get the season going on Friday, and now
- 3:31Speaker 3: they're back home tonight taking on the Falcons. A J
- 3:37Speaker 3: Brown for the Eagles will be out. Sakwon Barkley probably
- 3:41Speaker 3: get a lot of work tonight the Falcons and you farewell.
- 3:44Speaker 3: The Falcon fans that don't even you make me feel
- 3:48Speaker 3: like I need to just buy a little storefront and
- 3:54Speaker 3: put a class on on what fans how fans are
- 3:58Speaker 3: because you're not fans. Your people who live in Atlanta
- 4:02Speaker 3: that watch the Falcons, you think you're fans. I keep
- 4:05Speaker 3: saying this year in the year. I've been doing this
- 4:07Speaker 3: show for ten twelve years. I've never seen Fairweather play
- 4:12Speaker 3: the play quarter to quarter. Fans, I don't know what
- 4:16Speaker 3: Kirk Cousins is gonna end up being. I know what
- 4:20Speaker 3: Kirk Cousins was, and I know what I think he
- 4:24Speaker 3: can be. But he is thirty six, thirty seven years old.
- 4:28Speaker 3: He is coming off an achilles here. And for you
- 4:32Speaker 3: that don't know, last game was the first game he
- 4:35Speaker 3: ever played for the Falcons. So all those old Kirk
- 4:40Speaker 3: dead and you know, the Atlanta fan first and foremost,
- 4:43Speaker 3: all they care about is the money, So that's the
- 4:46Speaker 3: first thing they got to bring up, how much somebody makes.
- 4:50Speaker 3: But they're not Seizon ticket holders and they don't buy tickets,
- 4:53Speaker 3: so I don't know why they're concerned about. You know,
- 4:57Speaker 3: it's not like they put in on the fans, you know, pandemonium.
- 5:03Speaker 3: It's not most people that love him. Most people that
- 5:07Speaker 3: got a problem is people to put in them. I
- 5:09Speaker 3: got five on it, But the Falcons don't put nothing
- 5:12Speaker 3: on it. They don't even necessarily stop to see the game.
- 5:15Speaker 3: They just waiting for somebody hit them on social media
- 5:17Speaker 3: and tell them something Kirk Cousin had a rough day,
- 5:20Speaker 3: so did a whole bunch of quarterbacks who just got
- 5:23Speaker 3: to wherever they were going. Hopefully they'll be better tonight.
- 5:28Speaker 3: And one thing I did not see falcons. I still
- 5:32Speaker 3: don't see explosive team speed. I see Bijon Robinson running fast,
- 5:41Speaker 3: but in the receiving corps and the tight end, I
- 5:43Speaker 3: don't see. I don't ever really see a Falcon behind anybody.
- 5:48Speaker 9: Mhm.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Check the game out and help me out tonight. I
- 5:51Speaker 3: don't ever really see them Clark receivers, if you remember,
- 5:58Speaker 3: we had their cornerbacks safety. I see him running next
- 6:01Speaker 3: to them or in front of them. I don't ever
- 6:03Speaker 3: see him behind them.
- 6:06Speaker 10: We did have a speechter, but he got in a
- 6:09Speaker 10: little trouble so we had to move. He had to
- 6:11Speaker 10: move to another team. We did have an aparacter Julio
- 6:14Speaker 10: that was gonna beat it.
- 6:16Speaker 3: But I don't see this and this once again Falcon fan.
- 6:19Speaker 1: That's a state I was in summer camp with Serena
- 6:23Speaker 1: the Man.
- 6:25Speaker 3: What that got to do? What that got to do
- 6:27Speaker 3: with today?
- 6:28Speaker 1: What that got to do with this is my opportunity.
- 6:32Speaker 3: That's a Falcon fan. They sound like people when you
- 6:35Speaker 3: go home and you go to talking and they bump
- 6:38Speaker 3: into you. I ain't seen you since high school. You
- 6:42Speaker 3: play Mulberry went, how they remember that day they beat
- 6:50Speaker 3: you in a drill and it's like, no game, No,
- 6:55Speaker 3: it's just a drill. Hey, baby, this power.
- 6:59Speaker 4: They had gotten two inches taller boy out of winning
- 7:03Speaker 4: the first round to win in the first round. That's
- 7:05Speaker 4: how a Falcon fan, because he's talking about a gentleman
- 7:08Speaker 4: who is on another on his second team since leaving here.
- 7:13Speaker 3: So not only did the Falcons not keep the young man,
- 7:17Speaker 3: the team he went to after the Falcons didn't keep
- 7:20Speaker 3: the young man, which means Rotherville talking about things like that,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and that is a Falcon fan who will tell you
- 7:26Speaker 3: about what we should have did back in twenty twelve
- 7:30Speaker 3: in the draft, as we had drafted and had traded
- 7:33Speaker 3: up the guy in twenty twelve, and then we.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Had traded that boy and going to the Hall of Fame,
- 7:39Speaker 1: not then.
- 7:40Speaker 4: You know, because you know we had a chance to
- 7:41Speaker 4: draft him.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But that didn't want to trade up, and then he
- 7:46Speaker 1: didn't want to get that boy in the third round.
- 7:49Speaker 3: So Eagles tonight, Falcons, the night the bab duser will
- 7:52Speaker 3: be watching. This is the last week of the w
- 7:55Speaker 3: NBA regular season. Thursday is the last day of the
- 8:00Speaker 3: regular season, which has been an exciting season to say
- 8:06Speaker 3: the least. We'll talk about Asia Wilson, We'll talk about
- 8:09Speaker 3: Caitland Clark, will talk about the excitement that the w
- 8:13Speaker 3: n b A has wrong. We got even You know,
- 8:16Speaker 3: we gotta underline Caitlyn Clark as the Sportswoman of the Year.
- 8:22Speaker 3: You really gotta really consider who would be.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Are we gonna Are we going to classify a sportswoman
- 8:29Speaker 1: or just sports or sport athlete of the year.
- 8:34Speaker 3: They don't do a sportswoman and a sportsman. No, I'm
- 8:37Speaker 3: asking are we we can do whatever we like.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'm saying, are we gonna are we not going to
- 8:42Speaker 1: like when we talk about the Mount Rushmore, we don't
- 8:44Speaker 1: talk about the female Mount Rushmore and the men's Mount Rushmore.
- 8:48Speaker 3: We just put the four best like.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I thought Time magazine did like a sportsman and a sportswoman.
- 8:56Speaker 8: Sports Illustrated does their sport They say sports person. Now,
- 9:00Speaker 8: so there's only one award now, Yes, Open Time has
- 9:04Speaker 8: their Person of the Year, right, so a sports person.
- 9:07Speaker 3: So they don't deluded it down to just one.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Because because you know the sports I'm saying, the sports
- 9:12Speaker 1: person of the Year made.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Didn't Caitlyn Jenner win the sportswoman?
- 9:17Speaker 1: No? No, no, that that that's when it changed three
- 9:19Speaker 1: years because because Caitlyn Jenna was the sports person of
- 9:22Speaker 1: the Year, because she was both made.
- 9:24Speaker 3: It just makes you when we go to break just
- 9:26Speaker 3: just make sure I thought it was still too you
- 9:28Speaker 3: get a sportswoman and a sports man, Caitlyn combined it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Oh okay, I'm saying they just I mean they couldn't
- 9:35Speaker 1: say sports Man of the Year based on whom I thought.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Each one got their own cover, like Bruce got one
- 9:43Speaker 3: and then Caitlyn got another.
- 9:44Speaker 1: No, no, a male person of the year and a female.
- 9:49Speaker 1: And I'm saying, up until then that may have been something,
- 9:52Speaker 1: but then it became you not recognizing my identity because
- 9:59Speaker 1: you know, Caitlin had to be.
- 10:01Speaker 3: We were talking about when we get around to the
- 10:03Speaker 3: w NBA part of the show, and guys, I wanted
- 10:06Speaker 3: to ask you. I started with you bad producer. Maybe
- 10:09Speaker 3: you've been I haven't been a long time, but I
- 10:10Speaker 3: do see a lot of commercials so far in the
- 10:13Speaker 3: football season, So I'll start with you with are Buffalo
- 10:18Speaker 3: wild wings good. Have you been there?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Horrible?
- 10:22Speaker 3: Horrible? Okay, yeah, a horrible when the last you think
- 10:29Speaker 3: you've been there in the last year, you think you've
- 10:31Speaker 3: been there in the last year.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Went one time about four years ago and then went back.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Oh that disappointed.
- 10:36Speaker 10: Yeah, they got great commercials. Oh the commercial with the
- 10:39Speaker 10: motion is all that much time.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Out, sending over time all that, just like Geico.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Man, Greg, have you been there? And have you ever
- 10:47Speaker 3: been there?
- 10:48Speaker 8: I've been I think like twenty years ago.
- 10:51Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:53Speaker 1: But these commercials may seem like everybody's going because I
- 10:55Speaker 1: feel like I was missing out when I watched the commercial.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Well it's been I'm like, bad producer, maybe about four
- 11:02Speaker 1: four years since we three or four years is coming
- 11:05Speaker 1: out of the pandemic.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I think I went the once that I did.
- 11:08Speaker 11: Go.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Uh and if you go order the commercials, that's the
- 11:11Speaker 1: best thing. They have a twelve piece commercial, the one
- 11:17Speaker 1: would add the sprinklers cut on, give me that with
- 11:20Speaker 1: the with the sauce.
- 11:21Speaker 4: We'll be back with more of the Sports Show right
- 11:24Speaker 4: after this.

- 14:44Speaker 15: to the next level.
- 14:50Speaker 3: You must have each day like today, Welcome back to
- 15:03Speaker 3: this one Shock show. I'm this what shock wing Candy.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Good morning to you. We have halfway through September. We
- 15:11Speaker 3: have log week two in the NFL books, College football,
- 15:16Speaker 3: high school. Everything is up and running, as I said,
- 15:19Speaker 3: WNBA last week of the regular season, baseball finishing up
- 15:23Speaker 3: its last regular season month as well. But the big
- 15:28Speaker 3: story that started this whole weekend, if you want to
- 15:31Speaker 3: throw Thursday night into the weekend, is the state of
- 15:35Speaker 3: health of too Attack with the OA of the Miami
- 15:38Speaker 3: Adolphin signed the big deal on the off season to
- 15:42Speaker 3: man this ship for another four or five years. The
- 15:44Speaker 3: twenty six year old, who in his first three four
- 15:49Speaker 3: years has sustained multiple concussions, even sustained a couple of
- 15:55Speaker 3: concussions back at Alabama, where he was a Superstar thirty
- 16:01Speaker 3: one to ten. The Dolphins lost Thursday night to the
- 16:05Speaker 3: Buffalo bill It's one of those messy games. As I said,
- 16:07Speaker 3: trying to get prepared in three days. You never know
- 16:12Speaker 3: what you're going to get in this game. Tua being
- 16:15Speaker 3: tackled by Damar Hamlin, the safety on just a routine
- 16:21Speaker 3: And this is the part that stood out to me
- 16:24Speaker 3: and what I spoke about this weekend because I playing
- 16:29Speaker 3: a long time, had one season where I played with
- 16:32Speaker 3: a man named Chris Miller. You Atlanta fans might remember
- 16:36Speaker 3: Chris Miller as the quarterback. When I got to the
- 16:40Speaker 3: Rams in ninety four as a rookie, which would have
- 16:43Speaker 3: been thirty years ago. Chris Miller and Chris Chandler actually,
- 16:47Speaker 3: who both were from Falcon's Lore, were my quarterbacks, and
- 16:53Speaker 3: Tua's incident quickly reminded me of Chris. I said that
- 16:57Speaker 3: from the framework of if you go back and you
- 17:00Speaker 3: watched the play, it was nothing super impactful. It was
- 17:04Speaker 3: not this big hit where Damar Hamlin built up all
- 17:09Speaker 3: this theme and you can put it on some reel
- 17:12Speaker 3: of really Tua is the one who was striking the
- 17:17Speaker 3: blow to DeMar Hamlin. It wasn't anything crushing Damar Hamlin
- 17:23Speaker 3: didn't get knocked back to his helmet, kind of hit
- 17:26Speaker 3: him in the thigh area, and the concussion came about
- 17:31Speaker 3: Chris Miller. Similar thing. When I first started playing Chris Miller,
- 17:35Speaker 3: concussions became just anything to the head cood caause it
- 17:43Speaker 3: didn't have to be some big blow. It could just
- 17:46Speaker 3: be a partial forum or a partial knee or a
- 17:51Speaker 3: small amount of contact if he failed. It literally was
- 17:57Speaker 3: one time when he failed and trying to scramble and
- 18:01Speaker 3: just barely helmet hitting the ground, and we ended up
- 18:06Speaker 3: basically putting Chris Cheller in there and having to go
- 18:10Speaker 3: with him every other game because Chris was out. But
- 18:14Speaker 3: in a nutshell to a tackle, OL has a big
- 18:16Speaker 3: choice in front of him. The Miami Dolphins are in
- 18:20Speaker 3: basically purgatory right now or limbo, trying to figure out
- 18:26Speaker 3: what to do and where to go. Remember I just
- 18:29Speaker 3: said it's been a couple of weeks. He signed a
- 18:31Speaker 3: big deal. Toua being young, most likely is not going
- 18:36Speaker 3: to just raise his hand and retire. It's going to
- 18:40Speaker 3: take some coasting and all I can say big Kenny
- 18:43Speaker 3: Comanchi and bad producer in this situation is if not now, Tua,
- 18:51Speaker 3: you have to decide when, So you'll already have that there.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Just go ahead on and Mark now am I gonna
- 19:04Speaker 3: well one more or two more? But to me, it
- 19:10Speaker 3: needs to be a decision while you still have more
- 19:14Speaker 3: of your mental faculties to make almost like they say
- 19:19Speaker 3: when you're writing out a wheel, Yes you have to
- 19:23Speaker 3: and sound mine and sound mind, yeah, sound mind and
- 19:27Speaker 3: body and body yeah, you're supposed to make out the wheel,
- 19:31Speaker 3: not on the ventilator right right, but while you're in
- 19:35Speaker 3: your ground right with me.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Standing over your shoulder, life undad it right there, because.
- 19:39Speaker 3: If you don't make that decision now, it happens again.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Now you have to man, you're less clearer when you
- 19:46Speaker 3: were the last or making what decision.
- 19:49Speaker 1: And sports Jack, I think what a lot of people
- 19:51Speaker 1: right now are uh, their sensibilities are being offended by
- 19:55Speaker 1: is the fact that with him and when you brought
- 19:58Speaker 1: up Alabama that was sort of a wake up call
- 20:01Speaker 1: for me with he did have that same issue in Alabama,
- 20:05Speaker 1: like we've seen it in the NFL that pulled him
- 20:09Speaker 1: out the games. Now this is the third time that
- 20:12Speaker 1: we've seen it. This was the fourth time, fourth time,
- 20:17Speaker 1: and I know at least two times at least right,
- 20:20Speaker 1: at least four times right, and at least two times
- 20:24Speaker 1: with the gang fingers. You know what I'm saying, Where
- 20:26Speaker 1: he do the whole arms extended fingers and to look like.
- 20:30Speaker 8: A game, And two of them were on Thursday night football.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Do you think that because of the prime time slight
- 20:37Speaker 8: this is the one game it's magnified even more because
- 20:42Speaker 8: more people saw it.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Well, I don't know, but you said he'll have to
- 20:47Speaker 3: have a number.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I think a lot of people's sensibilities want them to
- 20:52Speaker 1: suggest that the NFL be the one with the number.
- 20:56Speaker 1: We're not gonna leave it up to this man. He's
- 20:58Speaker 1: in the gladiator sport. He gonna do with gladiators. Do
- 21:01Speaker 1: put me out there till somebody chop off a vital
- 21:05Speaker 1: part of my body and or I just get left
- 21:08Speaker 1: on the field. No, the NFL's gonna have to say something,
- 21:12Speaker 1: how many times are you gonna work?
- 21:13Speaker 3: They would have to They would have to go right
- 21:15Speaker 3: now and start trying to write bylaws.
- 21:18Speaker 1: And that's the point now, and then they don't have
- 21:20Speaker 1: a point of reference yet for being able to do that.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Are we gonna let him be the first.
- 21:27Speaker 10: And he did say the two Thursday night games as
- 21:30Speaker 10: Greg said, So once again we go back to guys
- 21:32Speaker 10: not getting that forming that amount of rest that they need.
- 21:37Speaker 10: That could be his way out of saying, hey, I
- 21:40Speaker 10: wouldn't afforded that time. UH came forward my contract because
- 21:44Speaker 10: those two major times that happened is because they was
- 21:46Speaker 10: on a night that I didn't get a full week's rest.
- 21:48Speaker 1: So I don't know, like I said, when it happened
- 21:51Speaker 1: in Alabama, he wasn't playing in the NFL Double.
- 21:54Speaker 10: What I'm saying is the two games that where it's
- 21:56Speaker 10: been highlighted where his concussions have been Thursday night games.
- 21:59Speaker 3: And we'll come back after break talk more about it
- 22:02Speaker 3: to attack of the Oil. Has a big decision ahead
- 22:05Speaker 3: of him, as I said, only twenty six years old,
- 22:08Speaker 3: so he has to as I believe just now if
- 22:13Speaker 3: he's never done it before, this time, he needs to
- 22:17Speaker 3: set a mark of how many more times he's willing
- 22:19Speaker 3: to go down this road. We'll be back more to
- 22:22Speaker 3: Sports Jock Show right after.
- 22:23Speaker 5: This, maybe just picking the phone and.

- 25:18Speaker 2: Gandy in the radzo close your eyes lit?
- 25:52Speaker 1: What bagin this?
- 25:53Speaker 3: What shock? Shot on this? What shock?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Wayne Gangy, Good morning to you out there in.
- 25:57Speaker 3: This thing lane. We were talking about two attack the
- 25:59Speaker 3: over before we get into any more action, because this
- 26:01Speaker 3: game happened Thursday, and as I said, that was the
- 26:04Speaker 3: big rumbling from the time Tour got hit or two
- 26:08Speaker 3: did the hitting actually on tomorrow hambling and got a
- 26:11Speaker 3: concussion until about Sarty morning game day, and then it
- 26:16Speaker 3: kind of faded away. But in that forty eight hours,
- 26:20Speaker 3: we'll give it, people had a lot of opinions of
- 26:23Speaker 3: what Touas should do as far as retirement. Most of
- 26:27Speaker 3: the people all set retirement guys. Com at you, Greg,
- 26:33Speaker 3: where you are with this.
- 26:37Speaker 8: I wouldn't jump I wouldn't jump right to retirement. But
- 26:41Speaker 8: I think he needs to see all the specialists, all
- 26:45Speaker 8: the neurospecialists, to determine what is is it something specific
- 26:52Speaker 8: that's causing these because like you said, it was more
- 26:55Speaker 8: of a routine kind of play. It didn't seem like
- 26:59Speaker 8: a uh this major contact that would cause it, but
- 27:04Speaker 8: he has a concussion anyway, So I feel like there's
- 27:08Speaker 8: another there's a reason that is causing that they should
- 27:11Speaker 8: look at before determined.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Would you're saying you're let the medical medical team determine
- 27:17Speaker 3: it for you. Yes, okay, because they may say, you.
- 27:21Speaker 10: Know, I would get the medical opinions and everything, but
- 27:28Speaker 10: still it will still be left to my decision on
- 27:32Speaker 10: how I feel or if I'm there. I don't think
- 27:35Speaker 10: I think I don't think you should give it up
- 27:37Speaker 10: right now. I think he still should keep going because
- 27:39Speaker 10: I'm still on the point that the two games that
- 27:41Speaker 10: he's had that problem were early Thursday night games and
- 27:46Speaker 10: when he's been able to get a full weekend.
- 27:48Speaker 3: He said, So the medical team says, retire, you do what.
- 27:53Speaker 10: I'm still I'm seeking the second opinion. I'm still trying
- 27:56Speaker 10: to play.
- 27:56Speaker 3: In the second opinion, doctor says retire, and you do
- 27:59Speaker 3: what opinion.
- 28:04Speaker 10: NA, we have to, but after the second opinion, you
- 28:08Speaker 10: will have to, you know, really reevaluate.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But I'm not gonna go off the strictly the first.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Opinion, right, So if the second opinion says you need
- 28:16Speaker 3: to retire, you do what.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You retire okay, but like I don't want but I
- 28:21Speaker 1: don't want him to. I just don't why you want
- 28:24Speaker 1: to see him sustain more concussions?
- 28:25Speaker 10: No, I think, like I'm just still stuck on that,
- 28:29Speaker 10: just the two games on the Thursday nights when this
- 28:32Speaker 10: has been highlighted to see him having these concussions, and
- 28:35Speaker 10: I'm thinking if the if if he wasn't on those
- 28:39Speaker 10: two games, it wouldn't be.
- 28:42Speaker 1: It wouldn't be as magnified.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Well, I'm quite sure if he's twenty six and he
- 28:48Speaker 3: plays another year, the Dolphins are gonna always be on
- 28:50Speaker 3: a Thursday night game. So you so you just skip
- 28:53Speaker 3: Thursdays if you too? Where are you at? Roll the dice?
- 29:03Speaker 3: What I'm supposed to do? What I'm gonna do? What
- 29:06Speaker 3: do you want me to do? What do you want
- 29:08Speaker 3: me to do? You want me to go?
- 29:08Speaker 18: Coach?
- 29:09Speaker 19: You do?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Litleague? What do you want to do? Getting the booth?
- 29:13Speaker 3: I'm twenty six. One of the best was that number
- 29:16Speaker 3: one didn't do? Wouldn't they drave me? Number one? What if? Folk?
- 29:19Speaker 1: Do you keep playing until top five? I'm telling what
- 29:21Speaker 1: fold to do?
- 29:23Speaker 6: What if I to do?
- 29:24Speaker 8: And a lot of people have brought up like how
- 29:27Speaker 8: if he had to retire because of this, the the
- 29:32Speaker 8: money from the new contract that he would get. So
- 29:36Speaker 8: I think some people are saying he should retire because
- 29:38Speaker 8: of that, like you're gonna get the money anyway. But
- 29:41Speaker 8: I know there's there.
- 29:44Speaker 3: You've got a lot of things like anyone a box
- 29:47Speaker 3: or anyone that has to retire. Guys, Sterling Sharp was
- 29:51Speaker 3: the best receiver in the league. He was as equal
- 29:55Speaker 3: to Jerry Rice in nineteen ninety four when he retired,
- 29:59Speaker 3: and he was in year five or six, Sterling Sharp,
- 30:03Speaker 3: excuse me, and he had to retire. He was maybe
- 30:06Speaker 3: twenty eight at that time. He had to go home.
- 30:10Speaker 3: He hadn't played since he had he was born with
- 30:13Speaker 3: like some kind of genetic open neck or something where
- 30:18Speaker 3: they found and that's why he kept having all those
- 30:21Speaker 3: stingers because his neck. He had to retire. People have
- 30:24Speaker 3: I played with guys in college that had to retire.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Sterling Sharp made the decision to retire or did the
- 30:31Speaker 1: NFL say you got to go?
- 30:33Speaker 3: Well, whether the NFL, I don't know if they can
- 30:35Speaker 3: legally without putting in rules make you go, right, This
- 30:40Speaker 3: is not about the NFL.
- 30:41Speaker 1: This isn't about the person money.
- 30:44Speaker 3: This is being twenty six, and by twenty six you
- 30:48Speaker 3: have been documented would at least seven concussions?
- 30:54Speaker 1: Right, And I'm saying me at twenty six, and this
- 30:59Speaker 1: is me rejecting onto Tour, Me at twenty six was
- 31:03Speaker 1: all gass, no breaks. What I'm fold to do this all?
- 31:06Speaker 1: I know this, what I do now, I know what
- 31:09Speaker 1: the man said. I know what the man said. But
- 31:13Speaker 1: I'm cool today. So that's this question.
- 31:16Speaker 10: Do you think there's more hot concussions that are not
- 31:19Speaker 10: highlighted with tours being a high profile quarterback position, whereas
- 31:27Speaker 10: the lineman's linebackers y'all constantly and you're playing through it.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Well, I think.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Tourists gets highlighted because he has happened so visibly.
- 31:38Speaker 10: But I'm saying there are on the field. I mean,
- 31:43Speaker 10: there's guys that could be playing through a concussion, still trying.
- 31:46Speaker 10: I'm going I'm the warrior and this gladiator. I'm gonna
- 31:50Speaker 10: continue to play. I understand the sidelight. And I'm what
- 31:53Speaker 10: I'm saying is because tour is in a quarterback position
- 31:58Speaker 10: and it's highlighted, highlighted.
- 32:02Speaker 3: What is highlighted?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you make it sound like they went and found
- 32:05Speaker 1: him and go let's talk about tour. He gets knocked
- 32:08Speaker 1: out on more than anybody I've ever said.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I'm saying, so we're gonna talk about it.
- 32:14Speaker 1: He gets not like he boxing on the field.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't I don't understand when you say highlighted.
- 32:19Speaker 10: Well, I mean he's in the quarterback position. In the
- 32:21Speaker 10: quarterback seat like Troy Ackman had a lot.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Of the young man, hold on, hold on the young
- 32:28Speaker 3: man from Dallas. We've seen him play here recently. He's
- 32:33Speaker 3: a young kid. He can't even be about thirty. Uh
- 32:37Speaker 3: Vanderbosh that his name the line. Yeah, what did you say?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Well, he's had a bosh.
- 32:47Speaker 3: He's had numerous concussions. Correct. Yes, isn't he retired or
- 32:54Speaker 3: he's been thinking of retired? Yes? And how old? Easy?
- 32:58Speaker 8: Uh? Maybe twenty seven, twenty eight.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Yes, I'm giving you another example of someone on the
- 33:04Speaker 3: other side of the ball that continue. And once he
- 33:08Speaker 3: got to the league, I don't know that he won
- 33:10Speaker 3: a season to where he was leaving. At some points
- 33:15Speaker 3: he had to get out the game for two or
- 33:16Speaker 3: three games. The first two or three that seasons he
- 33:20Speaker 3: played every game, but it's like the last three he
- 33:24Speaker 3: was missing time all the time. Right, any kind of tackle, right,
- 33:30Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying.
- 33:30Speaker 1: There's no highlighting or going through the league. If they
- 33:34Speaker 1: see it, they're bound to say something about it, like
- 33:37Speaker 1: if somebody's acting and displaying the symptoms. But sometimes concussions
- 33:42Speaker 1: are the kinds of things where you think you okay
- 33:44Speaker 1: or you're walking in that fall. So there's a science
- 33:47Speaker 1: to it to it is the most visibly apparent examples
- 33:53Speaker 1: of concussion. And he's had what you said about five
- 33:56Speaker 1: seven of these and at some point.
- 33:58Speaker 3: I know I've seen at least five in the NFL.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And I think he's going to be the first example
- 34:05Speaker 1: of the NFL having to make some sort of mandatory
- 34:09Speaker 1: override your personal opinion decisions.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and in my opinion on it, as I said,
- 34:15Speaker 3: a little earlier would be more of I'll give you
- 34:21Speaker 3: this window, but we gotta decide now. This helps you
- 34:26Speaker 3: prepare everything about what's going on, what I'm gonna do next,
- 34:30Speaker 3: whether you know my monetary everything needs to be adjusted
- 34:34Speaker 3: to how many more times you're willing to go down
- 34:37Speaker 3: this road. So everybody know, the wife, the team. Hey,
- 34:42Speaker 3: if I find myself I come back Thursday Thanksgiving. Right,
- 34:47Speaker 3: And this happened again, because you can go ahead on.
- 34:50Speaker 1: And right, because there's post concussion stuff. You know, that
- 34:53Speaker 1: third time it happened. I remember I was on my
- 34:57Speaker 1: way back to the house, but I ended up in Tuscaloosa.
- 34:59Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying. I thought I was going
- 35:01Speaker 3: to practice at Alabama.
- 35:02Speaker 1: So I don't want to keep on going through those
- 35:05Speaker 1: stages of concussion, recovering, wondering when it's going to happen
- 35:10Speaker 1: again and again. The NFL, we've watched fans hold their
- 35:16Speaker 1: breath for minutes at a time while a guy lies
- 35:19Speaker 1: on the field. I don't know if they want to
- 35:21Speaker 1: keep doing that. Then cutting to a tie Pods commercial.
- 35:26Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. That doesn't reset the clock
- 35:30Speaker 1: like you hope that it will in those situations.
- 35:33Speaker 3: And from what I know about concussions, it becomes easier
- 35:38Speaker 3: and easier to sustain them. And that was my whole point.
- 35:42Speaker 3: I'm talking about Chris Miller. By the time I was
- 35:44Speaker 3: a rookie, Chris Miller was on about year ten and
- 35:48Speaker 3: whatever effect was in him, and he started being absent
- 35:51Speaker 3: minded right as well, and he kept the warrior thing
- 35:56Speaker 3: going like the producer is talking about, and eventually he
- 36:01Speaker 3: would need someone to drive him home after the game,
- 36:06Speaker 3: like it became that. And if I ran into Chris now,
- 36:10Speaker 3: I probably would tear up because I imagine I would
- 36:15Speaker 3: meet a man that's probably sixty and kind of like
- 36:22Speaker 3: Jim McMahon. Yeah, gotta wear shades, gotta stay indoors, all
- 36:27Speaker 3: that kind of stuff because they're not there and they
- 36:31Speaker 3: probably haven't been there in a while. And we'll be
- 36:35Speaker 3: back more to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 36:51Speaker 11: John't go, Wayne Born of the Sports John Hill with
- 36:54Speaker 11: Wayne Gandia's coming up next.

- 38:27Speaker 21: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and
- 38:30Speaker 21: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as

- 38:34Speaker 21: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 38:36Speaker 21: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 38:38Speaker 21: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 38:41Speaker 21: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 38:43Speaker 21: journey with my Grandpa, Lou and the memories of my
- 38:45Speaker 21: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 38:48Speaker 21: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 38:51Speaker 21: their memory.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Or having trouble with routine tasks.
- 38:54Speaker 21: Talking about Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you

- 39:31Speaker 22: Gandy log on so you can see a sports joint
- 39:56Speaker 22: all sing even big journey.
- 40:00Speaker 3: Welcome back to this sport Shock show. I'm the Sportshock
- 40:02Speaker 3: Wing Game and let's get into summer. Yesterday's action Superman himself,
- 40:07Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson and these Baltimore Ravens. As I talked about
- 40:11Speaker 3: right before the season, nobody really likes to hear the
- 40:15Speaker 3: sports shock because, like the bad producer was telling me
- 40:17Speaker 3: before the show, nobody really wants to hear the truth.
- 40:21Speaker 3: The truth of the matter is teams need to play.
- 40:25Speaker 3: In the preseason. Wonder why Baltimore is owing two. Nobody played.
- 40:31Speaker 3: None of the people that was counted on for Baltimore played,
- 40:36Speaker 3: and now they're only to who played. Who played that
- 40:40Speaker 3: they count on, They practiced, they look like, Yes, they
- 40:48Speaker 3: look like a team. By the time of season they
- 40:51Speaker 3: get they gonna get into playoffs, it bounces back. They're
- 40:54Speaker 3: on two.
- 40:55Speaker 1: But this whole record is totally When I watch him play,
- 41:01Speaker 1: they still remembering each other nickname. They that because you
- 41:07Speaker 1: ain't been in the huddle together, Deck Henry, that piece
- 41:10Speaker 1: is there, so you got that, Lamar.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Now we need to sink in. And that's why I
- 41:14Speaker 3: said the Chiefs one of the few teams the little
- 41:17Speaker 3: five six seconds I did tune in the World champ
- 41:22Speaker 3: team was why because they got a bunch of new receivers.
- 41:25Speaker 3: You have to have some sequence, big Henny and game tempo,
- 41:31Speaker 3: not practice tempo. And the Baltimore Ravens, to me, that's
- 41:35Speaker 3: why they are oher and two. They're not in sync. Uh,
- 41:40Speaker 3: they haven't really built. It's like it's like the preseason
- 41:44Speaker 3: for them. So game I wouldn't want to be Game
- 41:47Speaker 3: four opponent at all when that buzz saw get the
- 41:51Speaker 3: going so oh and two oh and three. Yeah, but
- 41:54Speaker 3: week four once they finally get it all together. Very
- 41:58Speaker 3: dangerous team, especially with how Lamar has dedicated himself to being, okay,
- 42:04Speaker 3: being a dual threat. Only real bad years Lamar had
- 42:08Speaker 3: were when he was trying to protect himself, which was right,
- 42:12Speaker 3: and he was I'm not about to run, y'all, don't
- 42:15Speaker 3: get me no money, and he wasn't wrong. I mean,
- 42:18Speaker 3: I can't sit here and telling him. But now he
- 42:20Speaker 3: got his money, he's doing that dual threat thing that
- 42:23Speaker 3: very few people can do. Gohd B.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Kenny Sports Shock some of our Monday morning online listeners
- 42:28Speaker 1: had some comments. We got r J twit he said
- 42:31Speaker 1: two has been seeing neurologists since Bama. He needs to
- 42:34Speaker 1: consider his family and his future health. We got Romalis saying,
- 42:38Speaker 1: good morning guys. Uncle Charlie said, would you retire? Sports jock?
- 42:42Speaker 1: Tell him there is life after football and thanks, And
- 42:46Speaker 1: then our Raiders fan said, Raiders dang, no credit for
- 42:51Speaker 1: the win.
- 42:53Speaker 3: You can tell what people not used to winding, Uncle Charlie.
- 42:56Speaker 3: I would do the plan that I'm implementing. I would
- 42:58Speaker 3: see that all the doctors unless they unanimously said retire.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Now they said retire, I'm retiring because I'm actually going
- 43:07Speaker 3: to put my hand my career in their hands. I'm
- 43:10Speaker 3: not going to go against what they're saying. But I
- 43:15Speaker 3: would sit around my financial advisors, my family, anything that
- 43:19Speaker 3: has anything to do with I call Fox Sports and
- 43:23Speaker 3: be in the booth in two weeks coming to you know.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I would get all my ducks in a row, as
- 43:30Speaker 3: they say, and I would say, okay, I give myself
- 43:34Speaker 3: one or two, just like I imagine a boxer does
- 43:38Speaker 3: when they start having an injury they know can occur
- 43:41Speaker 3: any time they have to have had decided how many
- 43:45Speaker 3: fights you got to get yourself situated. So to me,
- 43:50Speaker 3: I would probably mark one more time. I would take
- 43:54Speaker 3: it much time as the dolphins would extend me, and
- 43:58Speaker 3: I would come back when I felt completely right and
- 44:01Speaker 3: know that if it goes down like this, not some
- 44:04Speaker 3: little stinger, but as Big Kenny is saying, these are
- 44:08Speaker 3: where Tua looks like he's not sure where he's at
- 44:11Speaker 3: at the moment.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Gang fingers, that's what I fingers. These aren't little my
- 44:15Speaker 1: face mass and Joe got tight right this west what
- 44:22Speaker 1: does it do in Buffalo?
- 44:25Speaker 6: Huh?
- 44:25Speaker 4: But west west side first of all in the northeast.
- 44:30Speaker 3: And this ain't this ain't Tuscaloosive. No, this ain't lucive.
- 44:36Speaker 4: Bro.
- 44:36Speaker 3: That's that's like six years ago.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Okay, I'm getting dressed for the heisman. Didn't get trusted ceremony.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And some of them, some of them really like that.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Oh man, I got and I'm saying, and toa Tua
- 44:49Speaker 1: been like that several times.
- 44:51Speaker 3: He's got a he's got a scrap book of Yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 1: This is the time I forgot where I was when
- 44:55Speaker 1: we were in Miami just that Thursday night, and I
- 44:58Speaker 1: thought I was bad.
- 45:00Speaker 3: So if you've never seen anybody, because most people haven't
- 45:03Speaker 3: seen someone knocked out. It's a first of all, when
- 45:08Speaker 3: it first happens, you do have a little humor in
- 45:14Speaker 3: you because you run up there and your boy and
- 45:17Speaker 3: you're looking at him and you're like, hey, Kenny, man,
- 45:21Speaker 3: I think commend you. They do not command Hey man, y'all,
- 45:25Speaker 3: somebody come out here, man, my grandmama. They don't knock
- 45:29Speaker 3: command you out. And you're see him sleep because you're
- 45:34Speaker 3: not You only experience. You usually experience the wibbleness he got.
- 45:41Speaker 3: You haven't experienced anything until you run up to your teammates.
- 45:45Speaker 3: They are unconscious, he getting comfortable. They don't knock Ernie
- 45:51Speaker 3: Conwell out. Ernie Conwell was a tight end I played
- 45:54Speaker 3: with and I ran up there with the Rams and
- 45:57Speaker 3: they're knocked Earnie out. Sleep heyn Ernie Ernie. Huh yeah, man,
- 46:04Speaker 3: get up bro JITs snooze bro So. But Raiders, yes,
- 46:09Speaker 3: going into Baltimore. Big thing right there. You know, the
- 46:12Speaker 3: Raiders have a lot of talent, young talent.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Uh.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Their biggest thing is what can they get from the quarterback?
- 46:17Speaker 3: Gardner minshewe yesterday? Uh well sack five times. The one
- 46:21Speaker 3: thing he did not do was turn the ball over
- 46:23Speaker 3: a lot. He had one interception, but a solid day
- 46:26Speaker 3: for Gardner Minshee and the Baltimore Ravens losing. So is
- 46:30Speaker 3: that enough love for the Raiders?
- 46:32Speaker 1: And I was going to ask Jared, you don't hear
- 46:34Speaker 1: true championship teams talking about teams they beat.
- 46:38Speaker 3: They just go out and Jets, Jets, Jets.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Oh he plugged this team already.
- 46:47Speaker 3: That's crazy. What the sports championship teams? That sixty seven?
- 46:55Speaker 3: It was on there.

- 50:03Speaker 1: Was his home winning.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Welcome back to this what shock shaw, I'm this what
- 50:15Speaker 3: shock wing candy. Last night, the Texans invited the Bears
- 50:20Speaker 3: down for a little beef brisket down in Texas. Houston
- 50:26Speaker 3: winning this game nineteen of the thirteen. That's not a
- 50:30Speaker 3: surprise that Houston. Who that's a little more veteran team CJ.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Stroud not having the big numbers he had last year
- 50:40Speaker 3: so far, But as I said, another team high expectations
- 50:45Speaker 3: didn't do nothing in the preseason. So you know what,
- 50:48Speaker 3: Scroud through the ball to the same person he threw
- 50:51Speaker 3: it to last year, Nego Collins, because that's all I
- 50:55Speaker 3: know right now, that's what it's. He'll find everybody else
- 50:58Speaker 3: on the field, but right now that's who we know
- 51:02Speaker 3: because he hasn't practiced. None of these people played in
- 51:04Speaker 3: the preseason, so they are learning each other. Nineteen thirteen
- 51:08Speaker 3: Texans over the Bears. Caleb Williams. At times he showed
- 51:13Speaker 3: you the arm and the mobility, the athlete that was
- 51:19Speaker 3: the first pick. Then he showed you I'm a rookie
- 51:23Speaker 3: in some other plays. But he showed you and displays you, Oh, okay,
- 51:27Speaker 3: there it is. You'll see it right right.
- 51:32Speaker 8: That could also add that to He also didn't play
- 51:36Speaker 8: play one game in the preseason.
- 51:39Speaker 3: No, but that's because they saw all they needed to see.
- 51:43Speaker 1: No, they saw the but you didn't see all you need.
- 51:48Speaker 1: They just saw everything.
- 51:50Speaker 3: But the interesting part of the game was last night,
- 51:53Speaker 3: even more than you know, it's exciting game. Good players.
- 51:56Speaker 3: I think the Texans will win that division. The Jags
- 51:59Speaker 3: are and two.
- 52:01Speaker 4: We saw yesterday the Jts chats Chets beat up.
- 52:05Speaker 3: On the Titans. Uh so I expect the Texans that
- 52:10Speaker 3: the Colts are owing to. Those are the four teams
- 52:13Speaker 3: in that division. Anthony Richardson coming back, it's kind of
- 52:17Speaker 3: like his rookie year when you think about it, he
- 52:20Speaker 3: missed most of all. He only played what two games
- 52:23Speaker 3: last year? It's like five, Okay, he missed twelve, so
- 52:28Speaker 3: he's back to his rookie year. But they said it
- 52:32Speaker 3: was the fifth time since twenty fifteen or twenty sixteen
- 52:41Speaker 3: that they had the dome open in Houston. And I
- 52:46Speaker 3: was thinking, bad producer, because here in the Falcons and
- 52:50Speaker 3: a couple other places, Why did you spend that much
- 52:54Speaker 3: money for that component and never open it? Why do
- 53:00Speaker 3: you we're talking about a major component of the price
- 53:06Speaker 3: when you get the whole retractable roof.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm quite I don't know the numbers, but I
- 53:11Speaker 1: would throw out against the wall. You can't get no million,
- 53:17Speaker 1: you can't get no bogo. If you ain't getting no
- 53:21Speaker 1: retractable roof, get one free.
- 53:23Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 53:24Speaker 1: It's not nothing you could do in like in two days,
- 53:27Speaker 1: like get it installed.
- 53:28Speaker 3: We'll put a retractable roof over your old retractable roof.
- 53:32Speaker 3: If you tell them, they come up with the design
- 53:34Speaker 3: and then you tell them, well I want the roof
- 53:35Speaker 3: to retract. That's a whole nother budget.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Wait night, you mean come back and then close again?
- 53:41Speaker 3: That's not even once a year. They're opening the dome.
- 53:45Speaker 3: They got eight what is it, a seventeen games? So
- 53:48Speaker 3: you got like maybe nine home games sometimes plus the
- 53:51Speaker 3: two preseasons.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Right, and how many times five reliant since twenty fifteen.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I want some rebate money. I need some money back.
- 54:04Speaker 3: But see, I know, and that's kind of thinking. If
- 54:06Speaker 3: I'm the taxpayer, somebody need to give us some money, right.
- 54:10Speaker 10: I wonder how long it takes to open the is
- 54:13Speaker 10: in a process to close it, it's the weather it
- 54:16Speaker 10: takes because I don't know what the focus. It's like
- 54:17Speaker 10: a seven minute process to close are open, so and
- 54:22Speaker 10: I think it's one of the fastest. I'm thinking, I
- 54:25Speaker 10: would think all of that's negotiated to the price.
- 54:27Speaker 3: But what if you got an eight.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Minute it's gonna I'm saying three minutes if weather. What
- 54:32Speaker 1: I'm saying it's gonna be If it takes twelve minutes,
- 54:35Speaker 1: it's gonna take more.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Money than the eight minute one. Yeah.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Well, what I'm saying is that the weather may be
- 54:40Speaker 1: a factor. Is possibly almost every game it's too hot,
- 54:45Speaker 1: maybe I think. I mean, it's attractical reloof at the
- 54:49Speaker 1: baseball stadium also, but they don't even have it open
- 54:53Speaker 1: that much. But that's what I'm saying, So it's got
- 54:55Speaker 1: to be the weather.
- 54:56Speaker 3: If the Texans have just say ten games including preseason
- 55:01Speaker 3: at home eleven, let's eleven games a season, and now
- 55:08Speaker 3: that's almost one hundred games basically they've had since twenty fifteen,
- 55:13Speaker 3: they've only opened it five times, right, And who's the
- 55:18Speaker 3: Texans on? Well?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Will it's still goings?
- 55:23Speaker 3: Its idea because.
- 55:26Speaker 1: You know a wife, and we need a flat grill
- 55:29Speaker 1: in the kitchen. We don't need no flat great, yes
- 55:32Speaker 1: we do. And then you put it in there and
- 55:33Speaker 1: you to only make pancakes once.
- 55:35Speaker 3: I just know that seven years. I would imagine at
- 55:37Speaker 3: least one one game a year, at least at least
- 55:41Speaker 3: make pancakes.
- 55:42Speaker 10: I wonder how many how many teams have their roof
- 55:45Speaker 10: open on the regular during the seasons.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I mean there's several teams with roofs.
- 55:48Speaker 8: I mean it's having a retractable roof is like, that's
- 55:52Speaker 8: like it's more normalized now, Like every new stadium they
- 55:56Speaker 8: have the retractable roof. So but I wrote its opening
- 56:00Speaker 8: one time, you would still think it's meant to be.
- 56:02Speaker 10: They opened it on for a pregame and then closed it.
- 56:05Speaker 10: But when the game started, I didn't understand that. Why
- 56:07Speaker 10: you only open it for the pregame.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Gotta pay, gotta use it sometimes they used it. At
- 56:13Speaker 1: least I don't need the whole flat iron grill for
- 56:19Speaker 1: two eggs.
- 56:19Speaker 3: But I bet you I cut it. I think about
- 56:24Speaker 3: it for the commentators to say it and make such
- 56:27Speaker 3: a big deal of it. We got the roof open,
- 56:30Speaker 3: like what that's how in free.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Ain't got no roof and and and mister McNair just
- 56:36Speaker 1: adding up this. I told you I ain't need no
- 56:39Speaker 1: retractable room. Talk about it, everybody. We'll be back. Could
- 56:47Speaker 1: have made the skiller you always like to make it weird.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Don't have no roof. I'm sorry back more than sports.
- 57:00Speaker 6: Surely and sure sure sure you way to go.

- 57:33Speaker 25: over two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to donate cab

- 58:26Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece

- 58:43Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 58:45Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was

- 58:50Speaker 5: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family

- 58:56Speaker 27: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 58:58Speaker 27: leave my family with bills are benefits?
- 59:00Speaker 5: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 59:03Speaker 5: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you

- 59:20Speaker 5: or bills?
- 59:21Speaker 3: Dot Com.
- 59:26Speaker 8: Is enough?
- 59:28Speaker 3: I don't Why shall share? And we hold the world?
- 59:32Speaker 1: Ransom Ford, excuse me while I whip this out?
- 59:36Speaker 3: Sure broadcasting live and it leda to Georgia. This is
- 59:42Speaker 3: the sports with Wayne Gandy.
- 59:46Speaker 23: You may.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Council come to is it just.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: I'm gonna go on away.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Welcome back to this What Shock Show. I'm the swat
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Shock Wayne Getty. Good morning to you. Remember if you
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: missed any of that first hour. As we go off
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: today Amazon Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Audible, Deezer, Spotify, iHeartRadio places
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: you can catch us on the replay As we Go
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: Off air Monday Night Football. Jalen hurts the Eagles, welcoming
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: UH the Atlanta Falcons UH to the city of brotherly
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: love for some cheese steaks tonight. Kirk Cousins and his
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: band of receivers, who, as I said, ERT's game they've
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: ever played together was last Sunday. A lot of miscues
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: in the passing game, UH taking on the Eagles. Their
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: big receiver A. J. Brown is out for the Eagles,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: UH to night, which helps the Falcons out go ahead, sir,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: That's what's something wrong?
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: Yeah, no, when you mentioned our passing game up is
- 1:01:03Speaker 10: reported we're going to the pistol with you being former
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: an NFL player with a quarterback in that situation, is
- 1:01:12Speaker 10: the pistol better than him being under the center or
- 1:01:15Speaker 10: a shotgun?
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: I don't know what their attack. I haven't watched the
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Eagles defense quite sure. Whatever adjustment was based on how
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: the defense of the Eagles play. Is this what y'all
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: talk about in y'all group chats, whether they're going to
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: be in the pistol or the shotgun.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Oh, I'm prevented from talking about pistols or shotguns because I'm.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: On a shotgun about nine percent of the time last.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: Week, and people were saying that because Kirk isn't fully healthy,
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: so because he can't move, we gotta make it easier,
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: so he's in the shotgun or the pistol.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Because each time you say shotgun or pistol, my ankle
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: minit or vibrates.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: So you know, if we could move forward.
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: Under the center, he is four yards behind the center
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: right and waits for the ball to.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: Come to I still got to get a drug test now. Yeah,
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: this thing is, as I said, the whole operation of
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: the Falcons and majority of the teams I saw. Uh,
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: this idea where no one needs to play in the
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: preseason and we're just going to show up game one
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: is something I would like to hear some philosophy from
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: the people in the top of the building of how
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: they think this is going to because what kills me Bit,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Kenny Gamanci and babduca is I see this, but then
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: everybody's still out week one and this is you know,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: last night, what's the receiver for the Bears they just
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: got from the Chargers Allen was Christian McCaffrey. Already four
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: games out Brown tonight Brown. We were on game two,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: game too.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: But that is hard. They practice hard. No, no, no,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: And this is the philosophy. Don't mean they practice hard,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: it's just that they believe they practice harder than you.
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: That's the philosophy.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I might not really be doing nothing, but they probably
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: doing less than we doing.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: So let's just see how it works. And it's not working.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: It is not in my opinion.
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: Do you think there should be more because from what
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: I've seen the historically, it's been twenty games, Like they
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: used to play fourteen games and they played six preseason,
- 1:03:34Speaker 8: then it went to four preseason. Now we're at three,
- 1:03:37Speaker 8: but it's still that twenty game number total. Do you
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: think there should be more games so they could be
- 1:03:42Speaker 8: at least another preseason game so that maybe they will
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: maybe actually play in the preseason to get ready.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: I actually just think we should go back to the
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: sixteen game format in the four preseason games, and there
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: was nothing wrong with that. Nothing was wrong with that,
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: I agree. And the mindset that everybody keeps thinking that
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: you can manage football injuries. If you could do that,
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: we would have cures for cancer, right if you could
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: figure out how to tell me when somebody is going
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: to be hurt? And how that the young man for
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: the Jets yesterday, the defensive end Johnson towards Achilles on
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: a kind of nothing play. The guy went to try
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: to cut his knee. He jumped from underneath the cut.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: So the guy you know would fall went to run
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: to chase the ball, killes pop. When were you gonna
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: tell me that that was gonna happen?
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: How does that?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: When do you? How is not having preseason stop the injuries?
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: It hasn't. Speaking of injuries, I saw come an't your
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Greg moving his wrists really funny? Earlier to day when
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: he's picking up his water cups.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: It was I don't know, I don't know.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: It was like Joe Burrow, I'm saying, okay, but we
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: still got to investigate that.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: I wanted to bring that up.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: It was the top of the schick his hand kind
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: of fundy then grabs his water bottle.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: We need to declare that one thing going on in
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: the restaurant business before we get back into the football action.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I was reading a report that they're not serving ice
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: water anymore. They're just serving the water no ice. You
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: have to ask ice sit down.
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: Restaurants when you, you know, go to eat.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: And that hadn't been my experience. There's always been ice
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: in the water.
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: Was waterweh tablecloth right now?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: The tablecloth linen napkin restaurants come out with the clear
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: bottle of water that they've gotten out of a faucet somewhere,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and then they offer you the ass that's already been
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: shield but it's just really sitting next to the refrigerator.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: And then they in the glass.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: And then and then if you go, can I have ice?
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: They look at you like you ought to be embarrassed.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: They go ice and you go, yeah, like frozen water.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: They go, oh, strange requests returned to the moment, and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: so you just go with it at the tablecloth.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Plays college football? Uh, the Florida State Seminoles the University
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: of Florida both are struggling right now. Guys. Uh would
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: be two of the bigger brands of college football, that
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Gregg's seminoles. He thought I forgot. I don't forget very.
- 1:06:48Speaker 28: First.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: I was hoping I skipped over there. But if you
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: bring it up, but if you're honest, I won't get
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: on it. You thought you thought he was gonna for
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: you out of gott He already told you. When the
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: folks told him to leave, he left. He didn't.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: He didn't sit around till he thought he was back
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: at Auburn.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Of Florida State losing again. They're ohero and three and
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: this is just based on they had went undefeated, being
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: highly ranked last year. They started this year at ten
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: before they flew over to Ireland. Uh, the Florida Gators
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: Billy Napier and that team is just falling apart as well.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: I think that you see a function with these schools. Florida,
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: I know, gets poached a lot. Florida State does a
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: lot of poaching right now. So you found a lot
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: of players that was at Florida last year at other teams,
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: and then you find other teams players at Florida.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: State, and so which program, which program will have to
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: fall which program ams schedule will just have to be
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: completely decimated before somebody goes Man, this in IL thing
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: isn't really working like we hoped it would well.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: In I l aka free agency, it is what I
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: call it. It's just LAC and they just keep trying
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: to say that under a nice name transferred Portal. But
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: it's just a free agent market. You got guys are
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: getting so you out there will just so you can
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: rest easy and just be honest with yourself.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Guys are leaving for flat out checks, yes, which is
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a good reason.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: In Io deills checks flat out I'll give you more
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: money to come to Texas than to stay at Bama.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Just flat out check when you when you when you're
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: at Georgia, when you're at Bama. It's just like if
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: you're at Ohio State starting and at Michigan starting, why
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: would you leave?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Somebody paid you to and I've relocated for money. I've
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: done that or you know what I'm saying. I don't
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: want to sound judgmental on this. In sports Jack, I
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: have moved to another state for a check, So I
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: can I tell that they're just flat out checks.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: I know everybody, sure, there's an nil two that goes
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: with it, but there's some of this is just flat
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: out payment that is just not being talked about.
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: There are some guys who will Nick just like there
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: or at the end of the season, and kind of
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: what Nick Saban was saying, like guys came to him like, well,
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: what y'all gonna give me? So I will stay? So
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: they you know, as if they're doing them a favor
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: by going to them first before going into the transfer portal.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: And the exact reason why Nick Saban was okay, comfortably
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: retiring because at seventy one seventy two, I don't have time.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: And that's why I said, if I'm gonna do this,
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: I might as well to the NFL.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: If we're going to the whole, if we're gonna do
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: a free agency, I might as well do it in
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: the NFL. And I think some of these transfer portal
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: athletes go with that before I leave, what are you
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: going to give me? And usually the way to negotiate
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: is they offered me this, can you match it or
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: beat it? Is generally how negotiations go. But for me
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: to go in and go, hey, man, I'm gonna quit
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: this job in two weeks, that's not gonna hurt them.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: You know what, I'm saying so, but FSU right now,
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: last year worked out for them, this year it's not.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: And I think that's what happens in free agency. How
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: fast can who you bring in a simulate to what
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: you're doing to go out and play. Because these guys
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: are just getting there. They're not used to the program,
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: they're not used to the system, and when it's about money,
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: that's a whole nother distraction that falls up you as well.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: I wanted to ask you, do you think that some
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: of these players go places and play with a degree
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: of animosity and their spirit. I wanted to go to
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: this program, but they only had one hundred and fifty thousand,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: so I'm here for one hundred at fifty three. But
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: I really didn't want to be here or I wanted
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to go there, but they paid somebody else and I'm
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: here now.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: But it's the highest I could get at the time.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: But next year college players they don't have animosity. Yeah,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: it's just they have selfishness. Yeah, whatever I can get,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I'm at. They don't know anything about the rivalry or
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: any of that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: They just here. I'm just here not to get a check. Yeah,
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: it's not like a pro thing. It's still in the
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: college mind. We'll be back. We'll talking a little more
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: about college you know, Colorado, and he wanted to know
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: about the rankings and things like that more than sports
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: Jock Chill right out this don't go awayne.
- 1:12:07Speaker 11: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Dandidias coming

- 1:12:26Speaker 28: could do better, then get in the game and prove it.

- 1:17:54Speaker 3: The two fifty two, fifty second birthday be Jared's fifty
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: second birthday after the birthday to you, partner, Yeah, if
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: you thought you was gonna live this long, you to
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: treat it yourself.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Beat.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: Sad news, but delightful was Tito Jackson and the Jackson
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: Five and what they gave us musically seventy years old.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: From what the report says, Tito had a cardiac arrest
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: driving but passes away at seventy years of age. Tito
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: Jackson Lil Wayne went on record last week having some
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: heartfelt moments, says that he's really broken command at you,
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Greg by you not inviting him to perform at his
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: house in New Orleans over at the Dome for Super
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Bowl in New Orleans this coming February the ninth, says
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: it really broken me.
- 1:18:55Speaker 31: He was kind of taken back. You have any audio
- 1:18:58Speaker 31: that you were not going to speaking for the Saints
- 1:19:03Speaker 31: fans gave me some mission that.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: That and this is this beef is kind of I mean,
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: people's opinion on this is you know, I know Stephen A.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Smith who was back in what jay Z decided, and Nikki,
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: who is Lil Wayne's road partner, right she was with Wayne.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: They had a little beef about this as well. But
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: Lil Wayne said he was heart broke. But I'm sure
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: even when command you to know that coach was so
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: against tootsieci uh And.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I told her course Nicky was gonna be heartbroken because
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: she was thinking I was finn to get my fifty
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: and do my appearance at the Super Bowl.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: And then it didn't.
- 1:19:51Speaker 10: Speaking for the city of New Orleans and the Saints fans,
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: they did as we come on there, they did say
- 1:19:58Speaker 10: he is a Green Bay Packer fan, so he's not
- 1:20:01Speaker 10: a Saints fan.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: So just him listen, listen, listen. Now what does that
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: have to do with him?
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: First?
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: First of all, perform from first of home, he is
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: from New Orleans.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: And when he says to New Orleans, and when he
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: says to New Orleans Saints fans and the people from
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: New Orleans, he's talking about the six people on his
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: timeline that have some sort of random connection to New Orleans.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: It's not a scientific or a volumed opinion. This is
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: like one dude that went went to a two lane game,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: and then the dude to travel with him to watch
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: the Saints and the Falcons play every other year.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: So don't you know, don't put a lot into it.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: But Greg, because this is specifically for Greg Lo Wayne
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: say hurt, he hurt? Is that what you wanted?
- 1:20:52Speaker 18: You?
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: He send the hot boys and everybody the.
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: City said, no, that's what I'm trying to City City,
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: the city jay Z puts you in the city.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: There's a.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: He had a short list.
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: Of people, and then the NFL and the city said no.
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: No, Lil Wayne in New Orleans. That would have been
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: the show though. That would have been the show, and
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: they could have got she murd out of jail.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: And then at the end of his performance, he could
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: have said, the only person we missing is Mystical, and
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Mystical could have win and jumped out, and it would
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: have been like like Gumbo and the Way has a
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: couple of checks with some rock bands. Right, he got
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: it all. That's what I'm saying. He's an entertainer now.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: He's no longer a rapper.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: That's the thing. He's crossed over into entertainer.
- 1:21:57Speaker 18: Now.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: Maybe they'll get him to do the pre show outside. Yeah, no,
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: you know that it looked too much like hanging out.
- 1:22:13Speaker 7: Talk about this telewitch Pus and don't bowl Wayne Or
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dantidia's coming up next.

- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Don't give up, don't ever give up. And now back
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: to the sports got Wayne Gandy.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Player's lounge.
- 1:25:07Speaker 24: Have been given full access to the player's lounge on
- 1:25:10Speaker 24: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gangy.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: Welc back to this one shock shot. This one shot
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: Wayne Ganey, good morning to you man. Big Kenny was
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: just discussing during the break. Really is the little Wayne thing?
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: At least for me? He speaks for himself. He's older
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: than me. Just more of a similar to how Doctor
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: Dre and Snoop and the celebration of kind of the
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: West Coast Sound was in LA. It's more of that
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: than it is Lil Wayne wil Wayne being able to
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: be a cog of what is New Orleans music. It
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: just puts it in a little more reference, so more
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: as a fan of wanting just maybe.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: How they would put that New Orleans impact around him,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: kind of how Dre put his together, because I don't
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: remember Dre actually performing at the Super Bowl.
- 1:26:25Speaker 23: He was there.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: You have heard his voice, but I don't remember him
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: actually busting any lyrics.
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: It was like a mash up, right, And it's kind
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: of like that with the Lil Wayne more than it
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: is him as a just a single artist. It's about
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: being able to create creator.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Right because before the master p and Low Wayne's there
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: was no reference to New Orleans and music all the
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: way back from to when it started in the mid
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: nineties until now.
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: To be able to bring that would all be forgiven.
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: If if Wayne was a special guest with Kendrick Lamar
- 1:26:59Speaker 8: with that be enough.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Now, because you still didn't give the show of New
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: Orleans from the New Orleans sound. Okay, as far as well,
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: does it have to be hip hop? I mean what
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: they brought out John Batiste and Harry Connick Jr. And
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: that almost looks like you snub and have been freedom. Well,
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: I'm seeing that almost seems like you're trying to throw
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: it in my face. I'll bring New Orleans artists on,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: but it won't be you if you're not gonna have Lol, Wayne,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: why have any New Orleans artists at all?
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: We're talking about the Super Bowl.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: It's sports for entertainment, the biggest sports for entertainment event
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: we have of the year, and this is the biggest
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: artist out of that city. And if you're not gonna
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: have him, just don't have any of them. I mean,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: now you're making it a thing because at first it
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: was just we didn't choose you. Now he's admitted this
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: personally hurt me. And okay, so now that you hurt,
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: we're gonna apologize with bringing big Freda. And I mean
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: nothing against Freda beloved New Orleans artists, but that ain't
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: low Maine.
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: Texas has jumped in the ap pole. They have jumped Georgia.
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: Georgia struggled up in Kentucky put a familiar foe and
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: a team that you know once or twice a year.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: Georgia kind of gets bored in a sense with certain teams,
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: especially smaller opponents. They play down to the competition, and
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: this year they were able to fight it off and
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: win the game where the Bulldogs. I think that's what
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: Kirby was alluding to. At the end of the game.
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: He knew it was it was a tight one and
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: Kentucky was putting up a fight in this game that
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: Georgia one thirteen to twelve. Arch Manning got in the
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: game the other day for Texas, who is now in
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: the AP pole and most likely rightfully so, they can
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: jump in any poll right now, strowing their performance this
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: past week against U t s A. Arch Manning getting
- 1:29:07Speaker 3: in showing you a certain aspect that some of you
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: didn't know. I knew because I saw him playing high school.
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: Arch is the superior athlete of all the Mannings we're
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: talking about. Real deal. Can run the ball. It's four
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: or five speed. He's just as big as Eli can.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: He can run. Everybody seemed to be taking when they
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: saw the play, and it's like, no, some of you
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: just forgot why he was the number one recruit out
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: of We were sitting around.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: His grandad and I was sitting with Scrambler.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: He wasn't a runner. Arch took off for seventy yards
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: and nobody was catching it. It wasn't like they were
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: gaining speed. They were all running the same speed to
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: the end zone. Just a different aspect that he brings.
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: And I know mean Kenny was asking maybe the last showing,
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: I was like, Arch knows where he is. He's okay,
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: sitting and playing behind what's his name?
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: You were? And it's interesting. We were watching the game.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: I was watching with some friends Saturday and somebody goes man,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: whatever happened to Arch, and right about the viewers gets injured,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and I was like, man, you gotta be careful about
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: the things you say watching sports. I'm talking about the
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: minute he goes man, whatever happened to Arch? Oh, yours
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: is down? And then in comes was that Arch and
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: he does.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: The running thing and the throwing thing, and I was like, man,
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: that boy really is good.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: It's not just they don't just call him Manning and
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: everybody who is in prop it was a stat like
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: the longest run from Eli and Painting was seventeen yards
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: from Eli and fifteen yards for Painting, but sixty seven
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: yards I think that was the longest run since Vince
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Young that they've had a quarterback saying that Texas, So,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: do you think they're gonna have a quarterback controversy now?
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Or is that gonna no I think when the Hewers
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: is back, I think I think our society just likes
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: to create stuff, so we we we're so impatient on
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: just letting life happen. I think arch Manning is where
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: he wants to be right now. He's the backup to yours.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: I think this is all planned. He has too many
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: top chef chefs in the kitchen, yes, not to know
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: what we're doing.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: Growth use colliflower flower for this regular whole grain, won't.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: I don't think. I don't think he's gonna be in
- 1:31:47Speaker 3: there like coach. He's in there like we made a deal.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: If yours can't go, I'll play if he can't, y'all say,
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: I get the car keys next year and we'll go
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: to the prole.
- 1:31:58Speaker 8: It's it's gotten louder because of because of yours injury,
- 1:32:02Speaker 8: and now it's like, well it's not that serious. He
- 1:32:06Speaker 8: might play this next game, so it's well, it gives
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: it's I think it's just balloon just because oh, now
- 1:32:13Speaker 8: archers in the game he goes. I'm saying and comparing
- 1:32:16Speaker 8: it to how when Peyton was at Tennessee, how he
- 1:32:20Speaker 8: became the starter, someone got hurt, he came in, he
- 1:32:24Speaker 8: played well, enough to where he started everything.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: The difference is, though the noise can start. But he's
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: got a core group of solid his his board of directors.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: They know they're not going to let any of that
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: rush the Oh.
- 1:32:42Speaker 8: Yeah, they don't. They don't have to rush anything. I'm
- 1:32:44Speaker 8: just saying, like it's like that, the noise is there. Yeah,
- 1:32:47Speaker 8: the noise is there because they want to That's what
- 1:32:49Speaker 8: I'm saying. Our sports media has gotten so.
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Removed. I guess, like I said, we so sports entertain payment.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: We want to create. It can't ever just be the
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: starter guy hurt banged up. The team decided, instead of
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: having to try to force him on the field, we
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: got a guy this equally as good. We'll let him
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: play today and keep your draft stock up. We don't
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: want to get hurt. For all we know it was,
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: could have went back in that game if we needed him,
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: But we just let Arch play. What's what's wrong with that?
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: But get him some snap? Nothing wrong with that, I mean,
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: it's just good. Why would you want to hurt him?
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: No, it's nothing wrong with that. It's just not just
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: the media, but it's just the fan base.
- 1:33:37Speaker 10: And then when you and then to constantly with the
- 1:33:40Speaker 10: n I LS and arches the second highest.
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: What does any of that have to do with anything?
- 1:33:45Speaker 10: But now he's on the field and they're saying, oh, yeah,
- 1:33:48Speaker 10: he should get that nil.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: He just said they were winning. Did Texas give him
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: that check? Did Texas did with yours? Did Texas win? Yes,
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: so what's the problem. But did they look potent? They did?
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: Okay, so we don't have nothing. The other thing else
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: is just your emotion and what you want. I think,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: but I think that because of the n i L
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: money that he how much yours is getting much? About
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: as much?
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: Exactly? No, no, no, no it was not the top five. Yes,
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: yes he is.
- 1:34:23Speaker 8: Yours is top five getting money in n I L money.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: He is top gentleman, let me ask a question and
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: art of why he didn't even go to the NFL, right,
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: because he could have. And now I'm trying to tell
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: you why he went back. Because the beef man, remember.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: The beef man, the regular beef the Kobe beef man.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: What I'm saying, man, stick around, listen, no look here here,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: stick around, look at this, and then I'll say stick around.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: My granddaughter has your ferrari outside? Outside?
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: She said she was gonna give you a little ride
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: down to them. And when she said she said, she's
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: gonna get your ride down to the ranch. And did
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: she donna give you a Ferrari too? You see what
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: I'm saying, Come on, man, and this is and then
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: you're talking about these nil deals.
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: This this is arch Manning. I think they got a
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: couple of dollars to hold him over to the next season.
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: You see what I'm saying.
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: This is not a situation like most situations. This boy
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: was born to play quarterback.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: And this is also the thing about the college that
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: people forget. And this is one component the college landscape,
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: at least this year. Maybe it a change in a
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: couple of years when they become employees. Who plays is
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: not based on who get paid. Coaches will take a
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: person out. That's why it never worked. They don't. There's
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: not like the pros where I'm gonna work through your
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: bad half of football. Any coach at any moment, hey, look, hey,
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: let the other boy go. He don't even don't guy name,
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: he just let the other boy. That's how college works.
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: That's part of the beauty of it.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: And speaking of how things work, sports, Jack, I'm not
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: sure if this is something that commands you. Greg is
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: responsible for this, just how algorithm works our online listeners. Uh,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: Uncle Charlie has been designated a top fan and also
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: a Milestone follower, So I don't know if that's because
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: he listens to us UH regularly. I'm not sure how
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: you get those designations. Uh are Raider fan is an
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: anniversary follower, which maybe that means that he and the
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: band producer are close with it.
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: And we'll be back with more than Sports Show right
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: after this.
- 1:36:55Speaker 11: John Bo Wayne Born of the Sports John Show with
- 1:36:58Speaker 11: Wayne gandis coming.
- 1:37:01Speaker 34: You say you'd never give it into a meltdown, never
- 1:37:05Speaker 34: let kids toys take over the house, and never fill
- 1:37:10Speaker 34: your feed with kid photos. You'd never plan your life
- 1:37:15Speaker 34: around their schedule, never look your thumb to clean their face,
- 1:37:21Speaker 34: and you'd never let them leave the house looking like
- 1:37:25Speaker 34: less than their best. You say you'd never put a
- 1:37:29Speaker 34: pacifier in your mouth to clean it, never let them
- 1:37:32Speaker 34: stay up too late, and never let them run wild
- 1:37:37Speaker 34: through the grocery store. And so when you say you'd
- 1:37:43Speaker 34: never let them get into a car without you there, no,
- 1:37:46Speaker 34: it can happen. One in four hot car deaths happen
- 1:37:49Speaker 34: when a kid gets into an unlocked car and can't
- 1:37:52Speaker 34: get out. Never happens before you leave the car. Always

- 1:38:56Speaker 28: Hey, assistant, Smokey Bear, call me pop a bear because
- 1:38:59Speaker 28: I'm ailing up dinner.
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: You get it.
- 1:39:03Speaker 6: Yes, good job.
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: So what should I do with all these colds?
- 1:39:06Speaker 14: Don't just toss them out? Put them in a metal
- 1:39:08Speaker 14: container because those embers can start a wildfire.

- 1:39:23Speaker 3: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Candy lockowns
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: like you can see a sports jaint. I'll say, even Janny,
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: welcome back to the sport shop showing I'm the sport
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: shop Wayne Candy. And for you Texas fans, which I
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: don't know that the bat producer knows any Texas fans
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: other than like they can he say, probably a pool
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: of two people he knows it might be a Texas fan.
- 1:40:07Speaker 3: Why would you want to start a quarterback controversy you're winning.
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: All that does is distract from the team and the focus.
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: I thought everything was about winning or is it just
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: about now it's about highlighting myself. For some people, they
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: don't want the team to win. They just want me
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: to win. Now, y'all loser. But I win, and they've
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: played great, and they look explosive regardless of who. But
- 1:40:33Speaker 3: who needs a quarterback controversy?
- 1:40:35Speaker 1: And it's almost like being upset that somebody sold your
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: arena out.
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: That's half of what the University of Florida problem is
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: and why they can't seem too because they are so
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: used to having this idea of uh and this this
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: Steve Spurrier. Yes it worked with Steve Spurry, and the
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: fans down there continue to want to yo yo their
- 1:40:55Speaker 3: quarterbacks that. But it takes a special two guys to
- 1:41:01Speaker 3: play each other, to play with each other in that
- 1:41:06Speaker 3: situation and not almost be playing almost like their enemies. Remember,
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: the two quarterbacks have to take the field in the
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: mindset that we just came here to win, not to
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: beat each other out. So you don't really know what
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: a quarterback controversy does. Next thing, you know, you've taken
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: the field to try to outdo me instead of out
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: doing old Miss. Right right, you're supposed to be trying
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: to beat old Miss. You don't clap when I score?
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: Why we're supposed to be helping it we're supposed to
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: be helping the team win. Now the scout sain't watching
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: neither one up. Now we're all in some kind of
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: funk around here. As far as yeah, I don't know
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: why people want to create quarterback controversy. Just let one
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: player play itself in or out. But every bad game,
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: every time somebody doesn't do exactly what you think, then
- 1:42:01Speaker 3: what happens. It's like here in Atlanta, Oh, put Michael
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: Pennock's in. So then when Michael Pennix gets in and
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: he throws two interceptions, then what, Oh we should have
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: kept Michael Vick. Then you call Michael Vick, realize he's
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: retired for real. Then what you go and ask Kirk
- 1:42:20Speaker 3: Cousins to go back. Oh yeah, that's real more role based. Yeah,
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: well he all we got so Colorado, Colorado State. The
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: Baptis had the big questions about why their ticket sales
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: were that game. He you know, he basically was trying
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: to allude to Dion because his his his thing about
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: him that shows me what the world really looks like
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: is the people that do things to other people from
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: the basis that, well, my family needs you're gonna break
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: in my house steal my food to feed your kids,
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: as though my kids didn't need any food. That's how
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: he is about his pandemonium for who he likes. So
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: Colorado plays Colorado State. Their ticket price is about twenty
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: twenty five dollars more on average than Alabama Wisconsin, which
- 1:43:22Speaker 3: in his mind that ticket should have been higher. But
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: he wanted to prove how the prime effect. We already
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: know there's a prime effect. People are watching and wearing
- 1:43:30Speaker 3: a team that has done nothing since Cordell Stewart, but
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: they're watching and they're watching the team like Colorado State
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: that they don't know one player that ever played for him.
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: But what they did have was an in state rivalry
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: and it's one of the oldest rivalries that exist, probably
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: older than whatever rivaly you think.
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: You're in before the teacher. Teen ninety two they cared.
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: Eighteen ninety two is when Colorado and Coloradato State started playing.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: They played before. So in Georgia play you google it.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: I'm telling you what you wanted to know. So one
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: hundred and thirty two years, Yes, they've had this rivalry
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: based on the stoppage for whatever depression wars different things.
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: They played this rivalry which means that most likely this
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: game is always sold out because it's an n State
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: game and that's why the ticket plies. And you add
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: Dion and some of the more popular players, the best
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: player in college football from Collins Hills High School, Travis
- 1:44:39Speaker 3: Hunter and Dion and the KFC commercials and everything else
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: that he brings to. So as simple as that. But
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: a guy like him, which I said, he loves to
- 1:44:53Speaker 3: protect himself at the expense of others. If I tell
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: him about Caitlyn clarkcomics, he'll tell me some story about
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: how oh no, that's not real.
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: No, no, man, cause the people they said that them
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: in time and you know how man, Yeah, you know
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: So there's gonna be a prime time of nummis. But
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: there is not a Caitlyn Clark a numbmis no matter
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: how many numbers you show them. The only reason, Nate,
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: you man, you know why they put you know, you know,
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: you know, you know Kaitlyn Clark. Kaitlyn Clark the best
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: rookie we've seen maybe ever now along with Asia Wilson.
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: It's been a lot of records breaking. Asia Wilson last
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: night first player ever to score a thousand points in
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: the game in a season. Caitlyn Clark yesterday breaking the
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: all time rookie record that has been around for eighteen
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: years since Simon Augusta were points scored by a rookie.
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: She already had the assists period record for the WNBA
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: for the not rookie, not just they ever got in
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: a w n B A. I got the record. You
- 1:46:06Speaker 3: splash Angel Reese, who broke the rebound record. So that's
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: why I said at the beginning, the show's been an
- 1:46:13Speaker 3: exciting year for the NBA. But record setting performance.
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: But why they ain't giving I'm still in bad producer character.
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: I need to break that why Angels number one note,
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: because see you get lost in that.
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: It's like going down a rabbit hole. Yeah, it's definitely
- 1:46:31Speaker 3: based on but they can prime numics, but they're not
- 1:46:33Speaker 3: Caitlin clarkingumis, which I don't get. But that's why answer
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: your question, bad producer. I'm not a surprise that Colorado
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: Colorado state ticket would be more on Obama Wisconsin. As
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: I said, who plays for Wisconsin? Obama?
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: Georgia ticket is averaging at three to oh two? Right,
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: do you know how many do you know how many
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: people from Wisconsin to Alabama vacation.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: Exactly. No, they probably no.
- 1:47:07Speaker 18: No.
- 1:47:07Speaker 35: No.
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: In the Midwest, we call Alabama Wisconsin.
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: The Midwest. Alabama is Wisconsin. That's the same states to us.
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: That is the Alabama of the Midwest. So the fact
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: that they would play, they don't have any connection to
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: each other like that. The Wisconsin. We never thought anything
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: about the tide. That is a fictional place for people from.
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: And as the pickleball craze has taken over America, something
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: that is taking over in Germany. They had their first
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: hobby horse championship in Frankfort. Hobby hoising is taking off.
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: They had a championship at seventy five competitors over in Frankfort.
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: German need a hobby horse. But but drug has been
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: legal there for a long time.
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sports Duck Show right after this.
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: Don't bow a.
- 1:48:28Speaker 11: Wayne Boor of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gandy
- 1:48:32Speaker 11: stumming up.
- 1:48:32Speaker 36: Next said, you'd never buy your kid candy from the
- 1:48:36Speaker 36: checkout aisle, or forget extra diapers. You'd never lick your
- 1:48:40Speaker 36: thumb to clean their face, never ever become a minivan mom.
- 1:48:46Speaker 36: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:48:48Speaker 36: a hot car.
- 1:48:49Speaker 9: No, it can happen.
- 1:48:51Speaker 36: Cars get hot fast, and kids can be at risk
- 1:48:53Speaker 36: in temperatures as low as sixty degrees.
- 1:48:56Speaker 14: Fair night, never happens. Before you leave the car. Always stop.
- 1:49:00Speaker 14: Look luck.
- 1:49:01Speaker 36: Brought to you by NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:49:04Speaker 37: It's four am Monday, and you're literally sucking baby snot
- 1:49:08Speaker 37: through a tube because she's congested.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: Man, that's love.
- 1:49:12Speaker 37: And if you love her that much, love her enough
- 1:49:14Speaker 37: to make sure she's buckled in the right car seat.
- 1:49:17Speaker 37: To make sure your child's in the right seat for
- 1:49:19Speaker 37: their age and size, Visit NHTSA dot gov.

- 1:49:29Speaker 37: by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the AD Council.
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:49:36Speaker 5: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:49:40Speaker 5: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: life insurance.
- 1:49:44Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:49:46Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:49:48Speaker 27: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind?
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: What about you?
- 1:49:51Speaker 5: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:49:54Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:49:56Speaker 27: Bill's piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:49:58Speaker 27: survival without me. That's what I'm made an appointment with
- 1:50:00Speaker 27: the insurance informants.
- 1:50:01Speaker 5: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:50:06Speaker 27: Now that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:50:09Speaker 27: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:50:11Speaker 5: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:50:15Speaker 5: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:50:21Speaker 5: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:50:26Speaker 5: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 1:50:30Speaker 5: or bills dot Com.
- 1:50:33Speaker 35: When I first have my baby, I'd get comments all
- 1:50:36Speaker 35: the time about how happy I ms be. I remember
- 1:50:38Speaker 35: thinking I want to be happy? Why don't I feel
- 1:50:41Speaker 35: that way? It was hard to admit that, even to
- 1:50:43Speaker 35: my doctor, but I'm glad I did. She told me
- 1:50:46Speaker 35: it was postpartum depression and that is very treatable. These days,
- 1:50:49Speaker 35: things are feeling good and we're both happier about that, right,
- 1:50:51Speaker 35: little man, I'll.
- 1:50:53Speaker 3: Take that as a yes.
- 1:50:55Speaker 18: Mental health care is working for Simon.
- 1:50:57Speaker 5: See what it can do for you.
- 1:50:58Speaker 18: And mental Healthcare works dot org.
- 1:51:00Speaker 33: A message from the American Psychiatric Association Foundation.
- 1:51:05Speaker 3: And now back to the Sports Job, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:11Speaker 23: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:51:14Speaker 23: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on
- 1:51:19Speaker 23: the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: Systematic. Welcome back to the Swat Shock Show. I'm in
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: the swat Shock Wayne Gandee Tiger Wood Job. We hope
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: you have a speedy recovery. Uh have a sixth back surgery,
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: which kind of signifies, hey, maybe just go home, Tiger,
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: because you are doing I've never did a lot of golfing.
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: I've done a lot of practicing at it, but it
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: seems to be something that will mess up your back. Listen, listen,
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: I ain't no scientist. I'm saying you doing the actual
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: thing that we'll mess up your back.
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: If me getting up and down out the bed make
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: me have more than one back surgery, I'm gonna look
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: for other options. I'm probably just sleep standing up well.
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: And Tiger was forty nine now and he getting up
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: there forty forty nine. He isn't at multiple back surgeries
- 1:52:30Speaker 1: that affect you long term age range.
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: You're running through a couple of scores here to jts, chicks,
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: checks checks, as we said, twenty four to seventeen over
- 1:52:40Speaker 3: the Titans. Aaron Rodgers showing a little more life in
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: his second game back from the Achilles. So that's gonna
- 1:52:49Speaker 3: be a little slow process. As I said, these people
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: just getting on the field with each other. I know
- 1:52:54Speaker 3: all of you believe that you can fix this in practice,
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: it really doesn't work like that. You gotta have some
- 1:53:00Speaker 3: kind of game tempo and some most of these teams,
- 1:53:04Speaker 3: as Greg alluded to, they're finding it on the field.
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: Twenty three seventeen, the Vikings beating the forty nine Ers.
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: For some of you who always surprised, Sam Donald had
- 1:53:15Speaker 3: a decent game.
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: Of why.
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: Why would y'all be surprised? Sam Donald was a top
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: ten pick. That means that at different times he can
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: show you top ten picks ability out on the field.
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: So twenty three seventeen to forty nine Ers without Christian
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: McCaffrey who they put on. Ir kind of fell in
- 1:53:37Speaker 3: love with Jordan Mason, who had another good game twenty
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: carries for one hundred yards and a touchdown. From one
- 1:53:44Speaker 3: of those games, I'm quite sure the forty nine ers
- 1:53:46Speaker 3: were thinking the same thing. It's only saund Donald a
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: mess around and bit them real bad. The Jacksonville Jaguars
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: losing to the Browns Cleveland winning eighteen thirteen. Jags expected
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: to do big things. They're owing to another team that
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: decided they were not gonna play a lot of people
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: in the preseason. Deshaun Watson didn't have a great game,
- 1:54:10Speaker 3: didn't have a bad game, but he had a better
- 1:54:12Speaker 3: game than the first week. Completed more passes, no touchdowns,
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: no interceptions, but he looked a little more decent out
- 1:54:21Speaker 3: on the field. Got the running game going and they
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: got a lot of talent. When you talk about Jerry
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: Judy and Amari Cooper in that receiving corps with that
- 1:54:30Speaker 3: tight end, is he back? What's his name?
- 1:54:33Speaker 1: Duque the tight end they have it doonsay Joku o Joko? Yeah,
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: he's pretty is he was he in there or is
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: he out? He left the first game with maybe a
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: knee injury. US another one of the weapons, especially when
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: they get Nick Chubb back. Every time you say o
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: Joko makes me want to go I have a date
- 1:54:52Speaker 1: with Lisa the who that nation woke up with a
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: big old Potter gumbo. Today the Saints riding high in
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: Cowboy Country and Dak Prescott, you getting my salute. Man,
- 1:55:05Speaker 1: I'm starting to become a Dak Prescott guy as far
- 1:55:08Speaker 1: as leadership, stepping up to the podium and basically saying,
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: we was in there reading press clippings, got full of
- 1:55:16Speaker 1: ourself and that's when that I was like, there you
- 1:55:19Speaker 1: go lead him.
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: But that's what happened, not necessarily that you lost, win
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: or lose, but you did play like, oh man, you
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: know the world is And that's what he said. We
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: got in there after one week and act like we
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: were just gonna go undefeated and show up. And the Saints,
- 1:55:37Speaker 3: who Derek Carr got a lot of weapons, Alvin Kamarrow,
- 1:55:43Speaker 3: he got some first round receivers that are starting to
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: pay some big dividends out there. The Saints are way
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: more dangerous than I think people will realize with the
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: kind of talent they have offensively, But Dak, I do salute.
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: That's the kind of leadership I like you step up.
- 1:56:02Speaker 3: I ain't no need to sit in the up here
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: making these lives up big right.
- 1:56:06Speaker 1: Well, man, you know once they used the three seven
- 1:56:09Speaker 1: coverage sprint number, we thought they's gonna be soft with THEE.
- 1:56:17Speaker 3: That's how you can make the press come for short too.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: With true, with truth, you.
- 1:56:21Speaker 3: Can just make it. Man, I ain't got no they
- 1:56:23Speaker 3: beat us. I ain't It wasn't in us today. We
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: were around here reading things that really was not happening.
- 1:56:30Speaker 3: The Pittsburgh Steller's one yesterday in a game where our man, uh,
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: you know, you were hoping to get a little Russell
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: Wilson versus his old team, the Denver Broncos. But you
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: know Russell Wilson still nursing some kind of injury that
- 1:56:46Speaker 3: none of us knew he had. Thirteen the six he says,
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: a calf. But okay, it's old age for this isn't
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: always a calf. He sprayed his birth certificate. Thirteen.
- 1:57:00Speaker 4: The stealers winning the way the stealers win. As I
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: tell you, you just didn't really focus on how the
- 1:57:07Speaker 4: stealers win. This is how the game plan in Pittsburgh
- 1:57:12Speaker 4: is to win.
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: Period. There is no offense win. There is no defense win.
- 1:57:21Speaker 3: There is no there is that some kind of way
- 1:57:24Speaker 3: in the next sixty minutes, we got it. Win the game,
- 1:57:29Speaker 3: and it doesn't really matter the numbers. Hopefully it will
- 1:57:32Speaker 3: sustain your contract, but maybe not today. Maybe you just
- 1:57:37Speaker 3: ran for a touchdown. That's all you did the whole day.
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: But the Steelers are two and zero, beating on the road,
- 1:57:44Speaker 3: winning against the Falcons, winning against the Broncos on the rod.
- 1:57:47Speaker 3: The bad producer as before we go, His big question
- 1:57:50Speaker 3: was that Mike Tumblin and the Steelers gave Russell Wilson
- 1:57:53Speaker 3: and a couple other guys game balls. They called it
- 1:57:58Speaker 3: the petty or maybe justin fields with only one that
- 1:58:00Speaker 3: called it the petty ball of the game or whatever
- 1:58:03Speaker 3: he called label.
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: Former team.
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: Maybe that's a new name for it. But it is
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: a tradition that when you play your former foe and
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: you win, you usually get a game ball. In that instance,
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: I think a lot of people just because Russell Wilson
- 1:58:23Speaker 3: didn't play. But it's not like when you get game
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: balls or win a super Bowl. The people that didn't
- 1:58:30Speaker 3: play don't get a Super Bowl ring. It's the same
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: thing with game ball that's the tradition. That's the tradition.
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: Regardless of what your impact was on the game, you
- 1:58:40Speaker 3: beat your old team. If coach decides to go that direction.
- 1:58:43Speaker 3: He gave everybody that had ever played or had just
- 1:58:47Speaker 3: come from Denver a game ball. So thirteen to six
- 1:58:50Speaker 3: in that game, and real quick before we go, because
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: I want to salut before we get to Ocean, Clinton County,
- 1:58:55Speaker 3: and we'll talk about this more later in the week.
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: They are mandating and making a new law here in Georgia,
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: in the County of Clayton that you have to have
- 1:59:07Speaker 3: a parent to attend football games that are not at
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: your high school. You either have to be from that
- 1:59:17Speaker 3: high school or have a parent with you. I think
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: it's a great start to try to cut down on
- 1:59:24Speaker 3: the violence and having kids at games supervised. That's basically
- 1:59:30Speaker 3: what they're bringing back. You're very welcome to come to
- 1:59:34Speaker 3: the game, but you have to basically be supervised. If
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: you're coming and you're not eighteen and older, and we
- 1:59:42Speaker 3: are a notion, the truth is he will throw your
- 1:59:48Speaker 3: in the ocean.
- 1:59:49Speaker 38: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Judge
- 1:59:53Speaker 38: Show with Wayne Gandy, When.
- 2:00:19Speaker 3: You decided that Ocean gives a swatshed out test a
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: minute to Vin. Thank you for tuning in to today's show,
- 2:00:24Speaker 3: Big Kenny Bad, Producer Commanchi, Greg, thank you for your contributions.
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: If you missed any of the show today, you can
- 2:00:31Speaker 3: go after we go off to Amazon Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Audible,
- 2:00:37Speaker 3: deez Are, Spotify, our iHeartRadio, and catch the replay going
- 2:00:42Speaker 3: in the ocean today. Because I'm already two three weeks
- 2:00:45Speaker 3: into it and I'm tired of it. The whole system
- 2:00:48Speaker 3: of targeting in college football has to be revamped. It's
- 2:00:54Speaker 3: the only level you watch the pros, you watch high
- 2:00:57Speaker 3: school college football is the only level of football that
- 2:01:03Speaker 3: seems like they just want to throw people out of
- 2:01:05Speaker 3: football games. I've said this before. That defensive player, he's
- 2:01:10Speaker 3: trying to get to the league too. You just deciding
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: to remove him for a hit that could have just
- 2:01:17Speaker 3: been a fifteen yard penalty and keep it moving. We
- 2:01:21Speaker 3: get it protecting the other players, but y'all don't ever
- 2:01:24Speaker 3: call targeting when the running back lowers his head in
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: the people. Nah, they intentionally try to get an extra
- 2:01:32Speaker 3: yard by lowering their helmet and ramming people in the chest.
- 2:01:37Speaker 3: You got to stop throwing all these defensive players out.
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: It needs to be adjusted to targeting one and targeting two.
- 2:01:47Speaker 3: Targeting two is ejectable. Targeting one is just a function,
- 2:01:52Speaker 3: cause you know what, football is violent in his physical
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: and you can actually get hit legally and get knocked out.
- 2:02:00Speaker 3: Ass two attack really over and my mama, So for
- 2:02:06Speaker 3: that college football fuck up clank from this work shop
- 2:02:18Speaker 3: show you. Hope you have a good afternoon. Peace,
