  Speaker 1: a city with like lots of blue glass buildings, kind

  Speaker 1: architecture as Philadelphia, but it it has all those blue

  Speaker 1: glass buildings like Philly. And also in the background is

  Speaker 1: that Moondrop building with the like the honeycomb pattern on

  Speaker 1: it that doesn't look like Philly at all. So there

  Speaker 1: like a lake and trees. And there are people sitting

  Speaker 1: on benches near the lake. And like there's some dude

  Speaker 1: like that. We see a robot arm pick up like

  Speaker 1: the soda fountain area at like a fast food restaurant

  Speaker 1: kind of cup. Anyway, picks it up and we see

  Speaker 1: that it's like this penguin shaped robot, sort of kind

  Speaker 1: of looks like a penguin. It's like blue on top

  Speaker 1: and kind of white on the bottom. And a small

  Speaker 1: child like taps on its back and is like, Mr. Walker, Mr. Walker.

  Speaker 1: I guess its name is Walker. And The kid's mom

  Speaker 1: is like trying to pull him away, but he doesn't

  Speaker 1: want to go. And then the robot just drives off

  Speaker 1: like it doesn't even care, which is pretty shitty. The

  Speaker 1: robot stops again. It kind of looks to the side

  Speaker 1: and then down and its eyes blink and then its

  Speaker 1: body rotates to the direction that its head is in. Next,

  Speaker 1: we see a kind of mid-century modern-ish looking building with

  Speaker 1: like lots and lots of windows. It's only one story
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: and it's clearly in the park. And we hear some beeping.

  Speaker 1: We hear a voice say, Shion. We see who is
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: clearly Shion, definitely older, but it still looks like Shion.

  Speaker 1: His hair is like a little bit shaggier, but it's
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: still short. And the voice says, come over here for
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: a bit. Shion carries two mugs over to this guy
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: with black hair who's sitting down and says, is something wrong?

  Speaker 1: They are, by the way, wearing like these green uniforms
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: and it looks like maybe they work at the park.
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: Kind of looks like maybe they're groundskeepers. You know, they
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: have like a very, um, The uniform is very blue
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: collar is what I'm trying to say. So the guy's like,

  Speaker 1: what do you think about this? We see a screen
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: and it says like online on it. And there's a

  Speaker 1: bunch of code that I can't read. But we're also

  Speaker 1: zooming in on some glasses that are just laying in

  Speaker 1: the grass. And the guy's like, that wasn't there during

  Speaker 1: the last pass. Like when they went around or when

  Speaker 1: the robots went around. I don't know. Sheehan's like, so

  Speaker 1: another item for the lost and found, right? Have Walker

  Speaker 1: pick it up for us. He sets one of the

  Speaker 1: mugs down next to the guy and then he also

  Speaker 1: sits next to him in front of these big, you know,

  Speaker 1: three large screens in like a pretty small room. I

  Speaker 1: guess this is like a monitoring station. The guy stretches

  Speaker 1: and is like, man, our robots sure do keep busy.

  Speaker 1: We see some robots on the screens. There's like a
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: giraffe and like an elephant robot. And Shion's like, they're
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: really cute though. I guess. The guy laughs and we
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: hear some beeping again. And the guy sets down his
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: mug and is like, again, what is it this time?
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: He looks up the screen and then he looks really
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: freaked out. He like partially stands and is like, what
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: the hell? We cut to a bike wheel like turning,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: you know? And then to Shion, who is pedaling really quickly.
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: He jumps off the bike right in front of the
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: penguin robot. And like he hadn't even stopped the bike
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: when he jumped off. So it's just kind of like
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: falls and slides. And Shion like runs off screen. The
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: other guy who was behind him stops on the path
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: and Shion runs over to this guy, like laying down
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: in the shade of a tree. We can only see
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: his legs and a little bit of his torso. Shion
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: bends down next to him and says, are you okay?
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: He turns. Yamase-san, contact the sanitation bureau. Yamase, the other
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: guy is like, got it. Shion turns back to the
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: lying down guy and is like, hang in there. He
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: goes to turn the guy over. Just fuck. Fuck. He

  Speaker 1: gasps and gets to his feet. The guy is like very,
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: very dead, like real dead. And he has white hair.

  Speaker 1: His skin is gray. His mouth and his eyes are

  Speaker 1: just wide open. You know, like not in a this

  Speaker 1: was fun. He was having a nice dream death in

  Speaker 1: like a gaping horror sort of sense. So not great. Also,

  Speaker 1: there's like a little black thing like on his neck,
• 5:54
  Speaker 1: like a black spot. And it starts to grow again.

  Speaker 1: And I guess Shion is watching this because he's panting
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: in the background. And then we get like a close

  Speaker 1: up on the black spot. And it kind of looks

  Speaker 1: like there's a bug crawling in there. Like maybe shaped
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: like a maggot or like one of those larvae type

  Speaker 1: bug things. Fuck. We go to the opening theme. Yay.

  Speaker 1: Back from the opening, we get a city shot with

  Speaker 1: a canal running through it. It looks like it's probably sunset.

  Speaker 1: And we see on the screen, Zero Two, the city

  Speaker 1: adorned in light. Except in mine, it called it something

  Speaker 1: slightly different, and I don't remember what it was, but

  Speaker 1: that's okay. I'm using the Wikipedia episode titles because I

  Speaker 1: don't know. Anyway, we cut to a business with a

  Speaker 1: sign that says Delisible in English, and there are like

  Speaker 1: pictures of like burgers on the windows and shit. We

  Speaker 1: see like two women standing out front, I guess talking

  Speaker 1: or whatever they're doing. We hear some water splash and

  Speaker 1: Shion say, Shion is inside and he springs up from

  Speaker 1: a seat. He was like at a counter by the window.

  Speaker 1: And Sappho was sitting next to him. And she's like, geez, Shion,

  Speaker 1: are you all right? She kneels down to wipe his pants,

  Speaker 1: which is weird because he could wipe his pants himself.

  Speaker 1: And Shion's like, sorry, I was spacing out. Sappho says,

  Speaker 1: come on, pay attention. It's been so long since we've

  Speaker 1: seen each other. She stands up and puts her hands

  Speaker 1: on her hips. What were you thinking about? Shion's like,

  Speaker 1: I was just surprised by your announcement. They sit down again.

  Speaker 1: Shion continues, being accepted to study abroad at number five?

  Speaker 1: the Twilight House. Shion's like, wow, in that case, there's

  Speaker 1: starting with my right to live in Kronos. His mom

  Speaker 1: closes the door. Shion continues. All of my special privileges

  Speaker 1: were revoked. We see the exterior of his house. It's

  Speaker 1: wasn't able to. We see a narrow alley kind of

  Speaker 1: type street with steps. It's kind of like a municipal

  Speaker 1: staircase street. Yay, Pittsburgh. Shion and his mom are standing

  Speaker 1: out in front of like this two-story stone building. Since then,

  Speaker 1: Lost Town's been my home. We see inside of maybe

  Speaker 1: a one-room apartment with, like, bunk beds and a table and, like,

  Speaker 1: two wardrobes. And then we see him at work, like
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: we had just a little bit earlier in the episode.

  Speaker 1: And he continues. Managing the parks is my job now.

  Speaker 1: We cut back to now. He says, that's reality. Or

  Speaker 1: the truth, as you call it. Safu leans in. Then

  Speaker 1: why did you lose your qualification? Right, he's not telling

  Speaker 1: you anything. Shan turns away. I don't want to tell you.

  Speaker 1: Safu sits up straight and kind of gasps. Shion is

  Speaker 1: just looking out the window, like slightly distressed, and we

  Speaker 1: hear a voice say, you knew that he was a VC,

  Speaker 1: didn't you? We see a younger Shion. sitting in a chair,

  Speaker 1: looking down at the floor, upset, and he says, yes.

  Speaker 1: We can see, like, a guy, like, a little bit

  Speaker 1: both cops, walks over and stops his mom from entering.

  Speaker 1: And Shion turns back and says, because he looked like

  Speaker 1: he was the same age as me and he was

  Speaker 1: badly hurt. The guy's like, you empathized with the VC.

  Speaker 1: Shion gasps. He continues. That's why you neglected to report

  Speaker 1: him and aided in his escape, right? Shion looks over

  Speaker 1: to like where the two empty cocoa mugs are sitting

  Speaker 1: on the table. And he says, empathy. We transition from

  Speaker 1: those mugs back to his cup that is sitting on

  Speaker 1: the counter now. He picks it up and looks down

  Speaker 1: at it kind of sadly, like it's sort of a

  Speaker 1: painful memory. But then he smiles like actually it was

  Speaker 1: the right thing to do. And we hear Saffu say, Shion?

  Speaker 1: Shion looks over at her. Oh, sorry. He takes a drink.

  Speaker 1: Safu's like, I get it. I won't ask you again.

  Speaker 1: She stands. Let's go. And she just starts to walk away. Jeez.

  Speaker 1: Shion sets his cup down and, like, hurries to catch

  Speaker 1: up with her. We are now panning down a narrow

  Speaker 1: street as they walk down steps. It's kind of like
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: an alley. It's, like, really, really narrow. Like, there's no

  Speaker 1: way a car could fit down there. It's just a
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: municipal staircase, but between, you know, buildings on each side.

  Speaker 1: And Shion says, sorry, I ruined the mood. Safu's like, nah,

  Speaker 1: it's fine. Shion sighs. Cheer up. You finally passed the

  Speaker 1: selection test and you'll be studying in number five. Safu chuckles.

  Speaker 1: And then it stops on his shoulder. It's like dark

  Speaker 1: gray and it has red eyes that look like maybe

  Speaker 1: they're not real. And we hear it say, I mean,

  Speaker 1: sort of, we hear something say through it, you're just
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: as simple as you used to be. We get a
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: quick shot of Nezumi's mouth as he holds like this
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: small rectangle with a red light on it that's probably
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: a microphone. Shion gasps. Nezumi? The mouse jumps off him
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: and just starts to run and Shion chases it. Safu's like, Shion?
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: Shion's like, sorry. I mean, technically they already weren't hanging
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: out anymore, but whatever. Shion follows the mouse up some

  Speaker 1: stairs and then has to come to an abrupt stop

  Speaker 1: as he hits into a busy street and a cart

  Speaker 1: beeps at him. He looks around, but he's lost sight

  Speaker 1: of the mouse. We cut to, like, that alley street

  Speaker 1: again and a sign over a door that says, We

  Speaker 1: see Shion sitting at a table now, maybe outside, and

  Speaker 1: we hear a bunch of beeps and he looks down
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: at his wrist cuff and gasps. A holographic screen pops
• 17:26
