  Have
• 1:15
  you
• 1:15
  ever
• 1:15
  had
• 1:15
  a
• 1:16
  friend
• 1:16
  from
• 1:16
  childhood
• 1:17
  who
• 1:17
  had
• 1:17
  a
• 1:17
  football
• 1:18
  shaped
• 1:18
  head?
• 1:19
  This
• 1:19
  is
• 1:20
  systematic
• 1:20
  ecology.
• 1:21
  We
• 1:21
  are
• 1:21
  the
• 1:21
  priest
• 1:21
  of
• 1:21
  the
• 1:22
  geeks.
• 1:22
  And
• 1:22
  I
• 1:23
  am
• 1:23
  very
• 1:23
  excited
• 1:23
  for
• 1:24
  today's
• 1:24
  episode.
• 1:25
  I'm
• 1:25
  one
• 1:25
  of
• 1:25
  your
• 1:25
  hosts,
• 1:26
  Kevin
• 1:26
  Schaefer.
• 1:26
  And
• 1:27
  joining
• 1:27
  me
• 1:27
  today
• 1:28
  is
• 1:28
  Liz
• 1:29
  Clyde,
• 1:29
  AKA
• 1:30
  Pang
• 1:30
  Pank.
• 1:30
  This
• 1:31
  is
• 1:31
  the
• 1:31
  first
• 1:31
  time
• 1:31
  we're
• 1:32
  actually
• 1:32
  recording.
• 1:32
  I
• 1:32
  know
• 1:33
  we've
• 1:33
  like,
• 1:33
  we've
• 1:33
  hung
• 1:33
  out
• 1:34
  at
• 1:34
  NC
• 1:34
  Comic
• 1:34
  Con
• 1:35
  before,
• 1:35
  but
• 1:35
  we
• 1:35
  actually
• 1:36
  have
• 1:36
  not
• 1:36
  been
• 1:36
  on
• 1:36
  an
• 1:37
  episode
• 1:37
  together
• 1:37
  before.
• 1:37
  So
• 1:38
  awesome
• 1:38
  to
• 1:39
  be
• 1:39
  excited.
• 1:39
  And
• 1:39
  it
• 1:39
  wasn't
• 1:40
  that
• 1:40
  hard
• 1:41
  like
• 1:41
  trying
• 1:41
  to
• 1:41
  find
• 1:42
  an
• 1:42
  interest.
• 1:42
  Right?
• 1:44
  So
• 1:44
  good
• 1:44
  job.
• 1:45
  Oh,
• 1:46
  this
• 1:46
  was
• 1:46
  perfect.
• 1:47
  I
• 1:47
  think
• 1:47
  this
• 1:47
  topic
• 1:48
  in
• 1:48
  particular,
• 1:48
  like,
• 1:48
  it's
• 1:49
  like,
• 1:49
  I
• 1:49
  know
• 1:49
  you're
• 1:49
  a
• 1:50
  huge
• 1:50
  anime
• 1:51
  fan
• 1:51
  and
• 1:51
  like,
• 1:51
  I
• 1:51
  see
• 1:52
  some.
• 1:52
  I'm
• 1:52
  not
• 1:52
  nearly
• 1:53
  as
• 1:53
  much
• 1:53
  of
• 1:53
  a
• 1:53
  consumer
• 1:54
  there,
• 1:54
  but
• 1:54
  like,
• 1:54
  and
• 1:55
  obviously
• 1:55
  I'm
• 1:55
  wearing
• 1:55
  like
• 1:55
  superhero
• 1:56
  and
• 1:56
  stuff
• 1:56
  and
• 1:57
  I
• 1:57
  have
• 1:57
  a
• 1:57
  wide
• 1:57
  range
• 1:57
  of
• 1:58
  other
• 1:58
  interests,
• 1:58
  but
• 1:59
  being
• 1:59
  a
• 1:59
  millennial,
• 2:00
  I
• 2:00
  like
• 2:01
  we
• 2:01
  all
• 2:02
  have
• 2:02
  our,
• 2:03
  I
• 2:03
  think
• 2:03
  quintessential
• 2:04
  Nickelodeon,
• 2:05
  Disney
• 2:05
  Channel,
• 2:06
  Cartoon
• 2:07
  Network
• 2:07
  shows
• 2:07
  of
• 2:08
  that
• 2:08
  era
• 2:08
  that
• 2:08
  I
• 2:09
  consume
• 2:09
  many.
• 2:09
  What
• 2:10
  better
• 2:10
  one
• 2:10
  to
• 2:10
  talk
• 2:11
  about
• 2:11
  than
• 2:12
  hey,
• 2:12
  Arnold,
• 2:13
  when
• 2:14
  you
• 2:14
  suggested
• 2:14
  this
• 2:14
  the
• 2:14
  other
• 2:15
  day.
• 2:15
  Because
• 2:15
  basically
• 2:16
  for
• 2:16
  this
• 2:16
  episode,
• 2:17
  this
• 2:17
  is
• 2:18
  one
• 2:18
  of
• 2:18
  our
• 2:18
  kind
• 2:18
  of
• 2:18
  like,
• 2:19
  not
• 2:20
  real.
• 2:20
  We
• 2:20
  can
• 2:20
  pick
• 2:20
  any
• 2:21
  topic
• 2:21
  we
• 2:21
  want
• 2:21
  and
• 2:22
  it's
• 2:22
  not
• 2:22
  really
• 2:22
  tied
• 2:22
  to
• 2:23
  any
• 2:23
  particular
• 2:24
  series.
• 2:24
  And
• 2:25
  we
• 2:25
  were
• 2:25
  just
• 2:26
  free
• 2:26
  to
• 2:26
  kind
• 2:26
  of
• 2:26
  jump
• 2:26
  on
• 2:27
  what.
• 2:27
  And
• 2:27
  so
• 2:27
  Liz
• 2:28
  and
• 2:28
  I
• 2:28
  were
• 2:28
  texting
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  other
• 2:29
  day
• 2:29
  and
• 2:29
  trying
• 2:29
  to
• 2:29
  think
• 2:29
  of
• 2:30
  a
• 2:30
  topic
• 2:30
  when
• 2:31
  she
• 2:31
  threw
• 2:31
  out,
• 2:31
  hey,
• 2:31
  Arnold.
• 2:32
  I
• 2:32
  was
• 2:32
  like,
• 2:32
  yes.
• 2:33
  This
• 2:33
  is
• 2:34
  like,
• 2:34
  let's
• 2:34
  go
• 2:35
  back
• 2:35
  to
• 2:35
  our
• 2:35
  childhood
• 2:36
  years.
• 2:36
  So
• 2:36
  I'm
• 2:36
  very
• 2:36
  excited.
• 2:37
  Buckle
• 2:38
  up
• 2:38
  everyone.
• 2:38
  We're
• 2:39
  going
• 2:39
  back
• 2:39
  to
• 2:39
  the
• 2:40
  90s.
• 2:41
  Oh,
• 2:41
  we
• 2:41
  are?
• 2:42
  Heck
• 2:42
  yeah.
• 2:43
  Well,
• 2:43
  before
• 2:43
  we
• 2:43
  get
• 2:43
  into
• 2:44
  our
• 2:44
  main
• 2:44
  topic,
• 2:45
  Liz,
• 2:45
  what
• 2:45
  are
• 2:45
  you
• 2:46
  geeking
• 2:46
  out
• 2:46
  on
• 2:46
  lately?
• 2:47
  Okay,
• 2:47
  so
• 2:48
  because
• 2:48
  I've
• 2:48
  just
• 2:48
  been
• 2:48
  doing
• 2:49
  so
• 2:49
  much
• 2:49
  cakes
• 2:50
  lately,
• 2:50
  I
• 2:51
  don't
• 2:51
  know
• 2:51
  why
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  decided
• 2:52
  to
• 2:52
  do
• 2:52
  this,
• 2:52
  but
• 2:52
  I
• 2:53
  restarted
• 2:53
  for
• 2:54
  the
• 2:54
  third
• 2:54
  or
• 2:55
  fourth
• 2:55
  time
• 2:55
  the
• 2:56
  original
• 2:56
  Naruto,
• 2:57
  like
• 2:57
  back
• 2:58
  when
• 2:58
  Naruto
• 2:59
  was
• 2:59
  a
• 2:59
  ginning
• 3:00
  and
• 3:00
  all
• 3:00
  that
• 3:00
  stuff,
• 3:01
  just
• 3:01
  because
• 3:01
  I
• 3:01
  needed
• 3:01
  something
• 3:02
  in
• 3:02
  the
• 3:02
  background
• 3:02
  that
• 3:03
  I
• 3:03
  could
• 3:03
  enjoy.
• 3:04
  So
• 3:04
  we,
• 3:04
  we
• 3:04
  restarted
• 3:05
  it
• 3:05
  and
• 3:05
  now
• 3:05
  I'm
• 3:06
  probably
• 3:06
  going
• 3:06
  to
• 3:06
  end
• 3:06
  up
• 3:06
  watching
• 3:07
  the
• 3:07
  whole
• 3:07
  series
• 3:07
  again
• 3:08
  and
• 3:08
  maybe
• 3:08
  I'll
• 3:08
  go
• 3:09
  into
• 3:09
  Boruto
• 3:10
  again
• 3:10
  and
• 3:11
  actually
• 3:11
  finish
• 3:11
  it.
• 3:12
  One
• 3:12
  of
• 3:12
  my
• 3:12
  caregivers,
• 3:13
  like
• 3:13
  her
• 3:14
  boyfriend
• 3:14
  has
• 3:14
  seen
• 3:14
  the
• 3:15
  entire
• 3:15
  series
• 3:16
  and
• 3:16
  they
• 3:17
  started
• 3:17
  watching
• 3:17
  it
• 3:18
  together
• 3:19
  like
• 3:19
  so,
• 3:19
  like
• 3:19
  his
• 3:20
  second
• 3:20
  Full
• 3:20
  Runway
• 3:20
  through
• 3:21
  like
• 3:21
  a
• 3:21
  few
• 3:22
  years
• 3:22
  ago.
• 3:22
  But
• 3:22
  there
• 3:23
  are
• 3:23
  so
• 3:23
  many
• 3:23
  and
• 3:23
  they've
• 3:24
  taken
• 3:24
  breaks
• 3:24
  along,
• 3:24
  by
• 3:25
  the
• 3:25
  way.
• 3:25
  And
• 3:25
  then
• 3:26
  they're
• 3:26
  in
• 3:26
  like
• 3:27
  so
• 3:27
  they're
• 3:27
  still.
• 3:28
  They've
• 3:28
  gotten
• 3:28
  through
• 3:29
  like,
• 3:29
  I
• 3:29
  mean,
• 3:30
  like
• 3:30
  hundreds
• 3:30
  of
• 3:31
  episodes
• 3:31
  and
• 3:31
  they're
• 3:31
  still
• 3:32
  only,
• 3:32
  I
• 3:33
  think,
• 3:33
  like
• 3:33
  halfway
• 3:33
  through
• 3:33
  it.
• 3:34
  Something
• 3:34
  like
• 3:34
  that.
• 3:34
  It
• 3:35
  is
• 3:35
  wild.
• 3:35
  How
• 3:36
  many?
• 3:36
  Yeah,
• 3:36
  it's
• 3:37
  not.
• 3:37
  It's
• 3:37
  definitely
• 3:37
  not
• 3:37
  like
• 3:38
  one
• 3:38
  piece,
• 3:38
  but
• 3:39
  the
• 3:39
  original
• 3:39
  Naruto
• 3:40
  has
• 3:40
  220
• 3:41
  episodes.
• 3:41
  Shippuden,
• 3:42
  which
• 3:43
  I'm
• 3:43
  excited
• 3:43
  about
• 3:43
  to
• 3:44
  rewatch,
• 3:44
  is
• 3:44
  500.
• 3:45
  And
• 3:45
  then
• 3:46
  Boruto
• 3:47
  has
• 3:47
  294.
• 3:48
  I'm
• 3:48
  not
• 3:48
  sure
• 3:48
  if
• 3:48
  Boruto
• 3:49
  is
• 3:49
  still
• 3:49
  growing
• 3:49
  or
• 3:50
  not,
• 3:50
  but
• 3:50
  like,
• 3:50
  with
• 3:51
  Boruto,
• 3:51
  I
• 3:51
  only
• 3:51
  got
• 3:51
  like,
• 3:52
  I
• 3:52
  think
• 3:52
  the
• 3:52
  episode
• 3:53
  50
• 3:53
  before
• 3:53
  I
• 3:53
  dropped
• 3:53
  it.
• 3:54
  Gotcha.
• 3:54
  Gotcha.
• 3:55
  Yeah,
• 3:55
  I'm
• 3:55
  just
• 3:55
  going
• 3:55
  to
• 3:56
  go
• 3:56
  all
• 3:56
  the
• 3:56
  way
• 3:56
  through,
• 3:56
  I
• 3:57
  think.
• 3:57
  Nice,
• 3:58
  Nice.
• 3:58
  Do
• 3:58
  the
• 3:59
  entire
• 3:59
  universe
• 3:59
  there.
• 4:00
  Why
• 4:00
  not?
• 4:01
  Awesome.
• 4:02
  Very
• 4:02
  cool.
• 4:02
  Awesome.
• 4:03
  And
• 4:03
  then
• 4:03
  on
• 4:04
  my
• 4:04
  end.
• 4:05
  So
• 4:05
  I've
• 4:05
  been
• 4:06
  still
• 4:06
  separate
• 4:07
  Season
• 4:07
  two.
• 4:08
  We've
• 4:08
  got
• 4:08
  to
• 4:08
  do
• 4:08
  an
• 4:09
  episode
• 4:09
  on
• 4:09
  that
• 4:09
  soon
• 4:10
  now
• 4:10
  that
• 4:10
  the
• 4:10
  season's
• 4:10
  almost
• 4:11
  over.
• 4:11
  I
• 4:11
  have
• 4:12
  so
• 4:12
  much
• 4:12
  to
• 4:12
  say
• 4:12
  on
• 4:13
  that
• 4:13
  show.
• 4:14
  It
• 4:14
  is
• 4:14
  great.
• 4:14
  And
• 4:15
  also
• 4:15
  because
• 4:16
  I
• 4:16
  renewed
• 4:17
  Apple
• 4:17
  TV
• 4:17
  for
• 4:17
  that,
• 4:18
  I
• 4:18
  started
• 4:18
  watching
• 4:18
  other
• 4:19
  stuff
• 4:19
  and
• 4:19
  I
• 4:19
  finally
• 4:20
  started
• 4:20
  shrinking,
• 4:21
  which
• 4:21
  I
• 4:21
  like.
• 4:21
  We
• 4:21
  were
• 4:22
  talking
• 4:22
  about
• 4:22
  this
• 4:22
  the
• 4:22
  other
• 4:22
  day
• 4:22
  is
• 4:23
  like.
• 4:23
  And
• 4:24
  it
• 4:24
  is
• 4:24
  a
• 4:24
  wonderful
• 4:25
  show.
• 4:25
  It
• 4:26
  is
• 4:26
  like,
• 4:26
  it's.
• 4:27
  It's
• 4:27
  weird
• 4:27
  to
• 4:28
  call
• 4:28
  it
• 4:28
  a
• 4:28
  comfort
• 4:28
  show
• 4:29
  because
• 4:29
  I
• 4:29
  was
• 4:29
  like,
• 4:30
  I'm
• 4:30
  enjoying
• 4:30
  it
• 4:30
  thoroughly.
• 4:31
  But
• 4:31
  it
• 4:32
  in
• 4:32
  the
• 4:32
  same
• 4:32
  way
• 4:33
  Ted
• 4:33
  Lasso
• 4:33
  does
• 4:33
  this.
• 4:34
  Like,
• 4:34
  it's
• 4:34
  such
• 4:34
  a
• 4:35
  fusion
• 4:35
  of
• 4:35
  comedy
• 4:35
  and
• 4:36
  drama.
• 4:36
  And
• 4:37
  while
• 4:37
  it's
• 4:37
  hilarious
• 4:40
  in
• 4:40
  almost
• 4:40
  every
• 4:40
  episode,
• 4:41
  there
• 4:42
  are
• 4:42
  still
• 4:42
  heavy
• 4:42
  moments
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  really
• 4:44
  take
• 4:44
  a
• 4:44
  lot
• 4:44
  out
• 4:44
  of
• 4:45
  you
• 4:45
  emotionally.
• 4:46
  So
• 4:46
  it's
• 4:46
  a
• 4:46
  heavy
• 4:46
  one
• 4:47
  to
• 4:47
  discuss
• 4:47
  it.
• 4:47
  Well,
• 4:47
  nonetheless,
• 4:48
  I
• 4:48
  would
• 4:48
  love
• 4:48
  to
• 4:48
  talk
• 4:48
  about
• 4:49
  that
• 4:49
  show
• 4:49
  at
• 4:49
  some
• 4:49
  point
• 4:50
  with
• 4:50
  people
• 4:51
  on
• 4:51
  this
• 4:52
  podcast,
• 4:52
  but
• 4:53
  I've
• 4:53
  been
• 4:53
  enjoying
• 4:54
  that
• 4:54
  a
• 4:54
  lot.
• 4:54
  So
• 4:55
  quite
• 4:55
  a
• 4:55
  lot
• 4:55
  of
• 4:56
  good
• 4:56
  TV
• 4:56
  out
• 4:56
  right
• 4:56
  now.
• 4:58
  Yeah,
• 4:58
  I've
• 4:58
  seen
• 4:59
  it.
• 4:59
  But
• 4:59
  just
• 5:00
  like,
• 5:00
  you
• 5:00
  know
• 5:00
  how
• 5:01
  if
• 5:01
  a
• 5:01
  friend
• 5:02
  is
• 5:02
  watching
• 5:02
  something
• 5:02
  and
• 5:03
  so
• 5:03
  you
• 5:03
  watch
• 5:03
  it
• 5:03
  because
• 5:04
  you're
• 5:04
  in
• 5:04
  the
• 5:04
  same
• 5:04
  room.
• 5:05
  So
• 5:05
  that's
• 5:05
  what
• 5:05
  I've
• 5:05
  done
• 5:05
  with
• 5:06
  my
• 5:06
  husband.
• 5:06
  So
• 5:06
  it
• 5:07
  seems
• 5:07
  great.
• 5:08
  Um,
• 5:08
  and
• 5:08
  as.
• 5:08
  As
• 5:09
  someone
• 5:09
  who
• 5:09
  consistently
• 5:10
  goes
• 5:10
  to
• 5:11
  therapy,
• 5:11
  it's
• 5:11
  fun
• 5:12
  to
• 5:12
  see
• 5:12
  how
• 5:12
  many
• 5:12
  illegal
• 5:13
  things
• 5:13
  they
• 5:13
  do
• 5:13
  in
• 5:14
  that
• 5:14
  show.
• 5:14
  And
• 5:15
  I
• 5:15
  do
• 5:15
  appreciate
• 5:15
  that.
• 5:16
  Like,
• 5:16
  I.
• 5:16
  I
• 5:17
  have
• 5:17
  seen
• 5:17
  interviews
• 5:17
  with
• 5:18
  Jason
• 5:18
  Siegel
• 5:19
  and
• 5:19
  Brett
• 5:19
  Goldstein,
• 5:19
  one
• 5:20
  of
• 5:20
  the
• 5:20
  creators,
• 5:20
  and
• 5:20
  they
• 5:20
  talk
• 5:20
  about
• 5:21
  how
• 5:21
  they
• 5:21
  want
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  be.
• 5:22
  I
• 5:22
  mean,
• 5:23
  they
• 5:23
  did
• 5:23
  a
• 5:23
  lot
• 5:23
  of
• 5:23
  research
• 5:23
  and
• 5:24
  they
• 5:24
  talked
• 5:24
  with
• 5:24
  their
• 5:24
  therapists
• 5:25
  and
• 5:25
  they.
• 5:25
  But
• 5:26
  obviously
• 5:27
  there
• 5:27
  are,
• 5:27
  you
• 5:27
  know,
• 5:28
  inciting
• 5:28
  incidents
• 5:28
  in
• 5:29
  the
• 5:29
  show
• 5:29
  that
• 5:29
  would
• 5:29
  never
• 5:29
  happen
• 5:30
  in
• 5:30
  real
• 5:31
  world,
• 5:31
  and
• 5:31
  they
• 5:31
  recognize
• 5:32
  that
• 5:32
  part
• 5:33
  of,
• 5:33
  you
• 5:33
  know,
• 5:34
  it
• 5:34
  being
• 5:35
  not
• 5:35
  going
• 5:35
  for
• 5:36
  super
• 5:36
  realistic.
• 5:37
  But
• 5:37
  I
• 5:37
  like
• 5:37
  how
• 5:37
  it
• 5:37
  still
• 5:38
  comments
• 5:38
  on
• 5:39
  the
• 5:39
  nature
• 5:40
  of
• 5:40
  therapy
• 5:40
  and
• 5:40
  the
• 5:41
  relationships
• 5:42
  that
• 5:42
  can
• 5:42
  form
• 5:42
  that
• 5:43
  way
• 5:43
  and,
• 5:43
  you
• 5:44
  know,
• 5:44
  using
• 5:44
  it
• 5:44
  as
• 5:45
  a
• 5:45
  guiding
• 5:45
  premise
• 5:46
  and
• 5:46
  just
• 5:47
  a
• 5:47
  way
• 5:47
  to
• 5:47
  explore
• 5:48
  the
• 5:48
  nuances
• 5:49
  between
• 5:49
  all
• 5:50
  the
• 5:50
  characters.
• 5:51
  So
• 5:51
  I'm
• 5:52
  almost
• 5:52
  done
• 5:52
  with
• 5:52
  season
• 5:52
  two.
• 5:53
  Thoroughly
• 5:53
  enjoying
• 5:53
  that.
• 5:54
  So
• 5:55
  Apple
• 5:55
  has
• 5:55
  some
• 5:55
  really
• 5:55
  good
• 5:55
  stuff.
• 5:56
  And
• 5:56
  then.
• 5:56
  And
• 5:57
  then
• 5:57
  also
• 5:57
  White
• 5:57
  Lotus,
• 5:58
  which
• 5:58
  is
• 5:58
  very
• 5:58
  different,
• 5:59
  but.
• 5:59
  But
• 6:00
  I'm
• 6:00
  enjoying
• 6:00
  that
• 6:00
  show
• 6:00
  a
• 6:00
  lot.
• 6:01
  Yeah,
• 6:01
  we
• 6:01
  could
• 6:01
  have
• 6:01
  talked
• 6:02
  about
• 6:02
  the
• 6:02
  first
• 6:02
  three
• 6:02
  episodes
• 6:03
  of
• 6:03
  that.
• 6:03
  Then
• 6:03
  I
• 6:03
  didn't
• 6:04
  even
• 6:04
  think
• 6:04
  about
• 6:04
  White
• 6:04
  Lotus.
• 6:05
  Oh,
• 6:05
  okay.
• 6:06
  Well,
• 6:06
  that
• 6:07
  we'll
• 6:07
  do
• 6:07
  another
• 6:07
  episode
• 6:08
  at
• 6:08
  some
• 6:08
  point.
• 6:09
  Yeah,
• 6:10
  well,
• 6:10
  when
• 6:10
  this
• 6:10
  season
• 6:11
  wraps
• 6:11
  up,
• 6:11
  we
• 6:11
  can
• 6:12
  do
• 6:12
  that
• 6:12
  for
• 6:12
  sure.
• 6:13
  I
• 6:13
  like
• 6:13
  it.
• 6:14
  Well,
• 6:14
  and
• 6:14
  for
• 6:15
  our
• 6:15
  listeners
• 6:15
  out
• 6:15
  there,
• 6:16
  please
• 6:16
  rate,
• 6:17

• 6:17
  and
• 6:17

• 6:18
  If
• 6:18
  you're
• 6:18
  on
• 6:18
  YouTube,
• 6:19
  you
• 6:20
  know,
• 6:20
  give
• 6:20
  us
• 6:20
  a
• 6:20
  like.
• 6:21
  Will
• 6:22
  has
• 6:22
  promised
• 6:23
  repeatedly
• 6:23
  that
• 6:24
  if
• 6:24
  you
• 6:24
  like
• 6:24
  anything
• 6:25
  on
• 6:25
  YouTube,
• 6:26
  if
• 6:26
  we
• 6:26
  get
• 6:26
  up
• 6:26
  to
• 6:26
  50
• 6:27
  likes
• 6:27
  on
• 6:27
  any
• 6:27
  episode,
• 6:28
  he
• 6:28
  will
• 6:29
  either
• 6:29
  frolic
• 6:30
  through
• 6:30
  the
• 6:30
  flowers
• 6:31
  or
• 6:31
  winter
• 6:32
  is
• 6:32
  almost
• 6:32
  over,
• 6:32
  so
• 6:33
  probably
• 6:33
  won't
• 6:33
  be
• 6:34
  another
• 6:34
  snow
• 6:34
  opportunity
• 6:35
  for
• 6:36
  at
• 6:36
  least
• 6:36
  another
• 6:36
  year.
• 6:37
  But
• 6:37
  he
• 6:38
  will
• 6:38
  do
• 6:38
  something
• 6:38
  to
• 6:39
  that
• 6:39
  effect.
• 6:39
  So

• 6:45
  Yes,
• 6:45
  give
• 6:45
  us
• 6:46
  a
• 6:46
  thumbs
• 6:46
  up.
• 6:46
  It
• 6:46
  really
• 6:47
  helps.
• 6:47
  So.
• 6:48
  All
• 6:48
  right,
• 6:48
  well,
• 6:48
  let
• 6:49
  us
• 6:49
  get
• 6:49
  into
• 6:49
  the
• 6:50
  main
• 6:50
  topic
• 6:50
  again.
• 6:51
  Very
• 6:51
  excited
• 6:51
  for
• 6:52
  today,
• 6:53
  Liz.
• 6:53
  You
• 6:53
  and
• 6:54
  I
• 6:54
  are
• 6:54
  both
• 6:54
  millennial
• 6:54
  else.
• 6:55
  And
• 6:55
  so
• 6:55
  I
• 6:55
  think
• 6:56
  again,
• 6:56
  Nickelodeon,
• 6:57
  Disney
• 6:58
  Channel,
• 6:59
  Cartoon
• 7:00
  Network
• 7:00
  were
• 7:00
  all
• 7:01
  very
• 7:02
  instrumental
• 7:03
  to
• 7:03
  our
• 7:03
  childhoods.
• 7:05
  But
• 7:05
  what
• 7:05
  are
• 7:05
  you.
• 7:06
  Just
• 7:06
  real
• 7:06
  quick,
• 7:06
  what
• 7:07
  were
• 7:07
  some
• 7:07
  of
• 7:07
  your
• 7:07
  other,
• 7:08
  like,
• 7:09
  big
• 7:09
  hits
• 7:10
  like
• 7:10
  you
• 7:10
  watched
• 7:10
  all
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  time
• 7:11
  from
• 7:12
  any
• 7:12
  of
• 7:12
  those
• 7:12
  networks
• 7:13
  or
• 7:13
  anything
• 7:13
  else
• 7:14
  that
• 7:14
  was
• 7:14
  super
• 7:14
  popular
• 7:15
  at
• 7:15
  the
• 7:15
  time?
• 7:16
  Gosh,
• 7:16
  I
• 7:16
  remember
• 7:17
  SpongeBob.
• 7:18
  Such
• 7:18
  a,
• 7:19
  such
• 7:19
  a
• 7:19
  big
• 7:20
  one.
• 7:20
  I
• 7:20
  can
• 7:21
  quote
• 7:21
  SpongeBob
• 7:22
  like
• 7:22
  no
• 7:23
  tomorrow,
• 7:24
  old
• 7:24
  school
• 7:24
  SpongeBob
• 7:25
  because
• 7:25
  apparently
• 7:25
  they
• 7:26
  like
• 7:26
  had
• 7:26
  new
• 7:26
  episodes
• 7:27
  and
• 7:27
  something.
• 7:27
  Didn't
• 7:28
  know.
• 7:28
  That's
• 7:28
  the
• 7:28
  difference.
• 7:29
  And
• 7:30
  then
• 7:30
  Rocket
• 7:30
  Power
• 7:31
  was
• 7:31
  one
• 7:31
  I
• 7:32
  really
• 7:32
  enjoyed.
• 7:34
  Disney.
• 7:35
  I
• 7:35
  remember
• 7:35
  the
• 7:35
  proud
• 7:36
  family
• 7:36
  so
• 7:36
  far.
• 7:37
  Yes,
• 7:37
  good
• 7:37
  one.
• 7:38
  Yeah,
• 7:38
  it
• 7:39
  was
• 7:39
  just
• 7:39
  all
• 7:39
  those
• 7:39
  like.
• 7:40
  And
• 7:40
  then
• 7:40
  like
• 7:40
  Disney
• 7:41
  was
• 7:41
  doing
• 7:41
  all
• 7:41
  those,
• 7:41
  like,
• 7:42
  teenage
• 7:42
  shows
• 7:43
  like
• 7:43
  Life
• 7:43
  of
• 7:43
  Derek
• 7:44
  and
• 7:44
  just
• 7:44
  good
• 7:45
  stuff.
• 7:45
  Oh,
• 7:45
  definitely.
• 7:46
  I
• 7:46
  watched
• 7:46
  all
• 7:46
  those.
• 7:47
  I
• 7:47
  was,
• 7:47
  I
• 7:47
  mean,
• 7:47
  Rockabauer
• 7:48
  was
• 7:48
  huge.
• 7:49
  Fairly
• 7:50
  odd
• 7:50
  parents.
• 7:51
  Danny
• 7:51
  Phantom.
• 7:52
  Was
• 7:52
  everyone
• 7:53
  then
• 7:53
  on
• 7:53
  Disney
• 7:54
  Channel?
• 7:54
  Like,
• 7:55
  yeah,
• 7:56
  Lizzie
• 7:56
  McGuire
• 7:58
  and
• 7:58
  then
• 7:59
  cartoon
• 7:59
  Network
• 8:00
  had,
• 8:01
  you
• 8:01
  know,
• 8:01
  things.
• 8:01
  I
• 8:01
  like
• 8:02
  that,
• 8:02
  like
• 8:02
  Teen
• 8:02
  Titans.
• 8:03
  Like
• 8:03
  that.
• 8:03
  There
• 8:03
  were
• 8:04
  just.
• 8:04
  There
• 8:04
  were
• 8:04
  so
• 8:04
  many
• 8:05
  cartoons
• 8:05
  up
• 8:05
  there.
• 8:06
  Ed
• 8:06
  and
• 8:06
  Eddie.
• 8:06
  That
• 8:06
  was
• 8:07
  a
• 8:07
  great
• 8:07
  one.
• 8:07
  Oh
• 8:07
  my
• 8:07
  gosh,
• 8:08
  there
• 8:08
  were
• 8:08
  just
• 8:08
  so
• 8:08
  many.
• 8:09
  But
• 8:09
  hey,
• 8:09
  Arnold,
• 8:10
  I
• 8:10
  think
• 8:10
  was
• 8:10
  one
• 8:10
  I
• 8:10
  just
• 8:11
  watched
• 8:11
  all
• 8:11
  the
• 8:11
  time.
• 8:12
  I
• 8:12
  mean,
• 8:12
  I
• 8:12
  remember
• 8:13
  especially
• 8:14
  like
• 8:14
  elementary
• 8:15
  school.
• 8:16
  This
• 8:17
  is
• 8:17
  kind
• 8:17
  of
• 8:17
  like
• 8:17
  my
• 8:18
  routine
• 8:18
  throughout
• 8:18
  from
• 8:19
  elementary
• 8:19
  through
• 8:19
  high
• 8:20
  school
• 8:20
  was
• 8:21
  I
• 8:21
  would
• 8:21
  come
• 8:21
  home
• 8:21
  and
• 8:22
  unless
• 8:22
  I
• 8:22
  had
• 8:23
  anything
• 8:23
  either
• 8:24
  church
• 8:24
  related
• 8:24
  or
• 8:25
  theater
• 8:25
  related,
• 8:26
  I
• 8:27
  come
• 8:27
  home,
• 8:27
  have
• 8:28
  a
• 8:28
  bag
• 8:28
  of
• 8:28
  popcorn
• 8:29
  and
• 8:29
  watch
• 8:29
  something
• 8:29
  on
• 8:30
  there.
• 8:30
  So
• 8:30
  it
• 8:31
  was
• 8:31
  like
• 8:31
  when
• 8:31
  I
• 8:31
  was
• 8:31
  kid,
• 8:32
  it
• 8:32
  was
• 8:32
  hey
• 8:32
  Arnold,
• 8:33
  Rugrats,
• 8:34
  rocket
• 8:34
  power,
• 8:35
  all
• 8:35
  of
• 8:35
  those.
• 8:35
  And
• 8:36
  then
• 8:37
  it
• 8:37
  was
• 8:37
  like
• 8:38
  office
• 8:38
  throughout
• 8:38
  high
• 8:38
  school.
• 8:39
  So
• 8:39
  it
• 8:40
  was
• 8:40
  like
• 8:40
  those
• 8:40
  were
• 8:40
  like
• 8:41
  quintessential
• 8:42
  hey
• 8:42
  Arnold
• 8:43
  was
• 8:44
  just
• 8:44
  a
• 8:45
  fascinating
• 8:45
  show
• 8:46
  about
• 8:47
  this
• 8:47
  very
• 8:48
  quirky
• 8:48
  cast
• 8:48
  of
• 8:49
  characters
• 8:49
  in
• 8:50
  this
• 8:50
  urban
• 8:50
  community
• 8:51
  where
• 8:52
  the
• 8:52
  aesthetic
• 8:53
  and
• 8:53
  design
• 8:54
  was
• 8:54
  very
• 8:54
  influenced
• 8:55
  by
• 8:56
  Seattle,
• 8:57
  Portland,
• 8:58
  New
• 8:58
  York,
• 8:59
  none
• 8:59
  of
• 9:00
  which
• 9:00
  I
• 9:00
  grew
• 9:00
  up
• 9:00
  in.
• 9:01
  So
• 9:01
  it
• 9:01
  was
• 9:01
  a
• 9:01
  very.
• 9:01
  I
• 9:01
  think
• 9:02
  that's
• 9:02
  part
• 9:02
  of
• 9:02
  what
• 9:02
  appealed
• 9:03
  to
• 9:03
  me.
• 9:03
  It
• 9:03
  was
• 9:03
  almost
• 9:03
  like
• 9:04
  fantasy
• 9:04
  in
• 9:04
  a
• 9:05
  sense,
• 9:05
  because
• 9:05
  I'm
• 9:06
  here
• 9:06
  from
• 9:06
  North
• 9:06
  Carolina.
• 9:07
  My
• 9:08
  community,
• 9:09
  my
• 9:09
  living
• 9:09
  space
• 9:09
  was
• 9:10
  nothing
• 9:10
  like
• 9:11
  the
• 9:11
  looked
• 9:12
  like
• 9:12
  the
• 9:12
  characters
• 9:13
  and
• 9:13
  the
• 9:14
  buildings
• 9:14
  and
• 9:14
  the
• 9:14
  layout
• 9:15
  and
• 9:15
  everything
• 9:15
  of
• 9:16
  the
• 9:16
  world
• 9:16
  in
• 9:16
  this
• 9:16
  show.
• 9:17
  So
• 9:17
  that
• 9:18
  alone
• 9:18
  was
• 9:18
  fascinating.
• 9:19
  And
• 9:19
  it
• 9:20
  really
• 9:20
  was
• 9:20
  just
• 9:20
  about
• 9:21
  this
• 9:21
  quirky
• 9:22
  group
• 9:22
  of
• 9:22
  characters.
• 9:22
  Both
• 9:23
  Arnold
• 9:23
  as
• 9:24
  the
• 9:24
  football
• 9:25
  shaped
• 9:25
  head
• 9:25
  protagonist
• 9:26
  and
• 9:27
  all
• 9:27
  his
• 9:27
  friends
• 9:28
  and
• 9:28
  friend
• 9:28
  enemies.
• 9:29
  And
• 9:29
  of
• 9:30
  course
• 9:31
  the
• 9:31
  Helga
• 9:32
  who
• 9:33
  bullied
• 9:33
  him
• 9:33
  constantly
• 9:34
  but
• 9:34
  was.
• 9:34
  That
• 9:35
  was
• 9:35
  only
• 9:35
  a
• 9:36
  mask
• 9:36
  because
• 9:36
  she
• 9:36
  secretly
• 9:37
  was
• 9:37
  in
• 9:37
  love
• 9:37
  with
• 9:37
  them.
• 9:38
  And
• 9:39
  that
• 9:39
  was
• 9:39
  explored
• 9:39
  throughout
• 9:39
  the
• 9:40
  show.
• 9:40
  And
• 9:40
  then
• 9:40
  he
• 9:41
  lives
• 9:41
  with
• 9:42
  his
• 9:42
  grandparents
• 9:42
  and
• 9:43
  we
• 9:43
  were
• 9:43
  just
• 9:43
  talking
• 9:44
  about,
• 9:44
  we'll
• 9:44
  get
• 9:44
  into
• 9:45
  more
• 9:45
  of
• 9:45
  this.
• 9:45
  Just
• 9:46
  like
• 9:46
  the
• 9:46
  ways
• 9:47
  that
• 9:47
  the
• 9:47
  show
• 9:47
  is
• 9:48
  so
• 9:48
  unique
• 9:48
  and
• 9:48
  the
• 9:48
  different
• 9:48
  themes.
• 9:49
  But
• 9:49
  one
• 9:49
  thing
• 9:49
  we
• 9:50
  were
• 9:50
  just
• 9:50
  talking
• 9:50
  about
• 9:50
  right
• 9:51
  before
• 9:51
  recording
• 9:52
  was
• 9:52
  that
• 9:52
  was
• 9:53
  huge
• 9:53
  right
• 9:53
  there
• 9:53
  that
• 9:53
  he's
• 9:54
  raised
• 9:54
  by
• 9:54
  his
• 9:54
  grandparents.
• 9:55
  He's
• 9:55
  not
• 9:56
  from
• 9:56
  a
• 9:56
  nuclear
• 9:56
  family
• 9:57
  and
• 9:58
  really
• 9:58
  it's.
• 9:59
  He's
• 9:59
  raised
• 10:00
  in
• 10:00
  many
• 10:00
  ways
• 10:00
  by
• 10:01
  his
• 10:01
  community.
• 10:02
  Obviously
• 10:02
  his
• 10:02
  grandparents
• 10:03
  are
• 10:04
  key
• 10:04
  to
• 10:04
  him.
• 10:04
  But
• 10:05
  he's
• 10:05
  also,
• 10:06
  you
• 10:06
  know,
• 10:06
  heavily
• 10:06
  influenced
• 10:07
  by
• 10:07
  friends,
• 10:08
  other
• 10:08
  community
• 10:09
  members.
• 10:09
  They
• 10:09
  have
• 10:09
  this
• 10:10
  very,
• 10:10
  you
• 10:11
  know,
• 10:11
  it
• 10:11
  takes
• 10:12
  a
• 10:12
  village
• 10:12
  kind
• 10:13
  of
• 10:13
  principle
• 10:14
  in
• 10:14
  their
• 10:14
  world.
• 10:15
  And
• 10:15
  so
• 10:15
  it
• 10:15
  was
• 10:15
  fascinating.
• 10:16
  But
• 10:16
  what
• 10:17
  were.
• 10:17
  Okay,
• 10:17
  so
• 10:17
  what's
• 10:17
  your
• 10:18
  background
• 10:18
  with
• 10:18
  the
• 10:18
  show?
• 10:19
  When
• 10:20
  did
• 10:20
  you
• 10:20
  start
• 10:20
  watching
• 10:20
  it
• 10:20
  and
• 10:20
  what
• 10:21
  were
• 10:21
  some
• 10:21
  of
• 10:21
  your
• 10:21
  big
• 10:22
  takeaways?
• 10:23
  So
• 10:24
  I
• 10:24
  mean,
• 10:24
  this
• 10:24
  is
• 10:25
  just
• 10:25
  one
• 10:25
  of
• 10:25
  the
• 10:25
  shows.
• 10:25
  I
• 10:26
  can't
• 10:26
  tell
• 10:26
  you
• 10:26
  when
• 10:26
  I
• 10:26
  started
• 10:27
  watching
• 10:27
  it
• 10:27
  or
• 10:28
  when
• 10:28
  I
• 10:28
  stopped.
• 10:28
  But
• 10:29
  I
• 10:29
  just
• 10:29
  remember
• 10:29
  it
• 10:30
  all
• 10:30
  so
• 10:30
  vividly.
• 10:31
  So
• 10:31
  it
• 10:31
  was
• 10:32
  just
• 10:32
  always
• 10:32
  like
• 10:33
  when
• 10:33
  I
• 10:33
  think
• 10:33
  baggage.
• 10:33
  It
• 10:34
  was
• 10:34
  a
• 10:34
  part
• 10:34
  of
• 10:35
  my
• 10:35
  past,
• 10:35
  you
• 10:35
  know,
• 10:36
  so
• 10:36
  I
• 10:36
  can't.
• 10:37
  It
• 10:37
  doesn't
• 10:37
  have
• 10:37
  a
• 10:37
  stop
• 10:38
  really
• 10:38
  an
• 10:38
  end
• 10:38
  because
• 10:39
  I
• 10:39
  would
• 10:39
  watch
• 10:39
  them
• 10:40
  today
• 10:40
  just
• 10:41
  for
• 10:41
  funsies.
• 10:42
  It's
• 10:42
  been
• 10:42
  a
• 10:42
  while.
• 10:42
  I
• 10:42
  remember,
• 10:43
  I
• 10:43
  can't
• 10:43
  remember
• 10:43
  what,
• 10:44
  what
• 10:44
  program
• 10:45
  I
• 10:45
  got.
• 10:45
  Maybe
• 10:45
  it
• 10:45
  was
• 10:45
  HBO
• 10:46
  Max.
• 10:46
  And
• 10:47
  this
• 10:47
  was
• 10:47
  like
• 10:47
  when
• 10:47
  I
• 10:47
  first
• 10:47
  got
• 10:48
  it
• 10:48
  maybe
• 10:48
  a
• 10:48
  couple
• 10:49
  a
• 10:49
  few
• 10:49
  years
• 10:49
  ago.
• 10:50
  And
• 10:50
  it
• 10:50
  had
• 10:50
  the
• 10:51
  the.
• 10:51
  The
• 10:52
  90s
• 10:52
  cartoons.
• 10:53
  And
• 10:53
  so
• 10:53
  I
• 10:53
  watched
• 10:53
  it
• 10:54
  just
• 10:54
  again,
• 10:54
  because
• 10:55
  it
• 10:55
  was
• 10:55
  available.
• 10:56
  Not
• 10:56
  all
• 10:56
  the
• 10:56
  way
• 10:56
  through,
• 10:57
  of
• 10:57
  course,
• 10:57
  but
• 10:58
  there's
• 10:58
  just
• 10:58
  so
• 10:58
  many,
• 10:58
  like,
• 10:59
  heartwarming
• 11:00
  moments
• 11:01
  in
• 11:01
  this
• 11:01
  show
• 11:02
  that
• 11:02
  you
• 11:02
  don't
• 11:03
  really
• 11:03
  think
• 11:03
  about.
• 11:03
  Number
• 11:03
  one,
• 11:04
  like,
• 11:04
  you.
• 11:04
  It
• 11:04
  deals
• 11:05
  with,
• 11:05
  like,
• 11:05
  bullying
• 11:06
  a
• 11:06
  lot,
• 11:06
  and
• 11:06
  how
• 11:06
  you
• 11:06
  can
• 11:07
  handle
• 11:07
  with
• 11:07
  your
• 11:07
  childhood
• 11:08
  bullies,
• 11:09
  which
• 11:09
  is
• 11:09
  really
• 11:10
  great,
• 11:10
  and
• 11:10
  how
• 11:10
  you
• 11:11
  can
• 11:11
  be
• 11:11
  kind
• 11:11
  to
• 11:11
  others
• 11:12
  and
• 11:12
  how
• 11:12
  you
• 11:12
  can
• 11:13
  problem
• 11:13
  solve
• 11:13
  and
• 11:14
  just
• 11:15
  depend
• 11:15
  on
• 11:15
  your
• 11:15
  community.
• 11:16
  Key
• 11:17
  episodes
• 11:17
  I
• 11:17
  remember
• 11:18
  is
• 11:18
  when
• 11:18
  he
• 11:18
  taught
• 11:18
  Oscar
• 11:19
  how
• 11:19
  to
• 11:19
  read.
• 11:20
  Like,
• 11:20
  a
• 11:20
  grown
• 11:20
  man
• 11:20
  didn't
• 11:21
  know
• 11:21
  how
• 11:21
  to
• 11:21
  read.
• 11:22
  That
• 11:23
  was
• 11:23
  very
• 11:23
  heartwarming.
• 11:24
  And
• 11:24
  he.
• 11:24
  That
• 11:25
  he
• 11:25
  gets
• 11:25
  dropped
• 11:25
  off.
• 11:26
  Oscar's
• 11:26
  one
• 11:26
  of
• 11:26
  the
• 11:26
  tenants
• 11:27
  at
• 11:27
  the
• 11:28
  boarding
• 11:28
  house,
• 11:29
  and
• 11:29
  so
• 11:29
  he
• 11:30
  gets
• 11:30
  dropped
• 11:30
  off,
• 11:31
  and
• 11:31
  he.
• 11:31
  It
• 11:31
  takes
• 11:31
  him
• 11:32
  all
• 11:32
  day
• 11:32
  and
• 11:32
  night,
• 11:33
  but
• 11:33
  he
• 11:35
  literally
• 11:35
  finds
• 11:36
  his
• 11:36
  way
• 11:36
  home.
• 11:36
  And
• 11:36
  he
• 11:36
  goes,
• 11:37
  I
• 11:37
  can
• 11:37
  read.
• 11:37
  And
• 11:38
  it
• 11:38
  was
• 11:38
  super,
• 11:38
  super
• 11:39
  sweet.
• 11:40
  And
• 11:40
  then
• 11:40
  also
• 11:40
  when
• 11:40
  Ms.
• 11:41
  Till,
• 11:41
  when
• 11:41
  it
• 11:41
  was
• 11:42
  like
• 11:42
  the
• 11:42
  Christmas
• 11:42
  episode
• 11:43
  when
• 11:43
  he
• 11:43
  got
• 11:43
  reunited
• 11:44
  with
• 11:44
  his
• 11:44
  daughter,
• 11:45
  like,
• 11:46
  just
• 11:46
  tears.
• 11:47
  And
• 11:47
  then
• 11:47
  you
• 11:47
  just
• 11:47
  see,
• 11:48
  like,
• 11:48
  Helga,
• 11:48
  too,
• 11:49
  like,
• 11:49
  how
• 11:49
  it's
• 11:49
  just,
• 11:49
  like,
• 11:50
  a
• 11:50
  community
• 11:50
  coming
• 11:50
  together
• 11:51
  for.
• 11:51
  To
• 11:52
  help
• 11:52
  Mr.
• 11:53
  Wynn
• 11:53
  find
• 11:53
  his
• 11:54
  daughter,
• 11:54
  because
• 11:54
  he's
• 11:55
  like,
• 11:55
  I'm
• 11:55
  so.
• 11:56
  The
• 11:56
  person
• 11:56
  who
• 11:57
  finds
• 11:57
  people
• 11:57
  was
• 11:58
  so
• 11:58
  busy,
• 11:59
  he
• 11:59
  was
• 11:59
  like,
• 11:59
  unless
• 11:59
  this
• 12:00
  list
• 12:00
  gets
• 12:00
  done,
• 12:00
  I'm
• 12:01
  not
• 12:01
  going
• 12:01
  to
• 12:01
  help
• 12:01
  you
• 12:01
  find
• 12:01
  her.
• 12:02
  The
• 12:02
  daughter.
• 12:02
  And
• 12:02
  so
• 12:03
  Arnold
• 12:03
  can't
• 12:03
  do
• 12:03
  it.
• 12:04
  The
• 12:04
  one
• 12:04
  thing
• 12:05
  on
• 12:05
  the
• 12:05
  list
• 12:05
  is
• 12:05
  getting,
• 12:06
  like,
• 12:06
  it's
• 12:06
  been
• 12:06
  years
• 12:07
  since
• 12:07
  I
• 12:07
  remember
• 12:08
  this
• 12:08
  episode
• 12:08
  so
• 12:09
  vividly.
• 12:09
  They
• 12:10
  couldn't
• 12:10
  find
• 12:10
  these,
• 12:10
  like,
• 12:11
  fancy
• 12:11
  boots.
• 12:11
  And
• 12:12
  so
• 12:12
  since
• 12:12
  Arnold
• 12:12
  couldn't
• 12:13
  do
• 12:13
  it,
• 12:13
  Mr.
• 12:13
  Nguyen
• 12:13
  couldn't
• 12:14
  have
• 12:14
  his,
• 12:14
  you
• 12:15
  know,
• 12:15
  miracle,
• 12:15
  which
• 12:15
  was
• 12:16
  being
• 12:16
  reunited
• 12:16
  with
• 12:17
  the
• 12:17
  daughter.
• 12:17
  And
• 12:18
  Arnold's
• 12:18
  trying
• 12:18
  this
• 12:19
  because
• 12:19
  he
• 12:19
  got
• 12:19
  Mr.
• 12:20
  Win
• 12:20
  for
• 12:21
  a
• 12:21
  Secret
• 12:21
  Santa.
• 12:22
  And
• 12:22
  so
• 12:23
  Helga,
• 12:23
  because
• 12:24
  she's
• 12:24
  a
• 12:24
  stalker
• 12:24
  psychopath
• 12:25
  who
• 12:25
  is
• 12:26
  obsessed
• 12:26
  with
• 12:26
  Arnold
• 12:27
  and
• 12:27
  has
• 12:27
  a
• 12:27
  shrine
• 12:27
  to
• 12:28
  him,
• 12:28
  has
• 12:29
  followed
• 12:29
  him,
• 12:30
  like,
• 12:30
  all
• 12:30
  day.
• 12:30
  And
• 12:31
  she
• 12:31
  actually
• 12:31
  received
• 12:32
  the
• 12:32
  boots
• 12:32
  as
• 12:33
  an
• 12:33
  early
• 12:33
  Christmas
• 12:33
  gift,
• 12:34
  and
• 12:34
  she
• 12:34
  gave
• 12:34
  her
• 12:35
  boots
• 12:35
  to
• 12:35
  the
• 12:35
  guy
• 12:35
  to
• 12:36
  find
• 12:36
  Mr.
• 12:36
  Wen's
• 12:36
  daughter.
• 12:37
  So,
• 12:38
  I
• 12:38
  mean,
• 12:38
  that's
• 12:38
  just,
• 12:39
  like,
• 12:39
  freaking
• 12:39
  beautiful
• 12:40
  for
• 12:40
  a
• 12:41
  cartoon.
• 12:41
  And
• 12:42
  that
• 12:42
  episode
• 12:42
  also
• 12:42
  came
• 12:43
  back
• 12:43
  to
• 12:43
  me
• 12:43
  since
• 12:44
  I
• 12:44
  was
• 12:44
  watching.
• 12:44
  I
• 12:44
  unfortunately
• 12:45
  didn't
• 12:45
  have
• 12:45
  time
• 12:45
  to,
• 12:46
  like,
• 12:46
  go
• 12:46
  back
• 12:46
  and
• 12:46
  rewatch
• 12:47
  some
• 12:47
  episodes
• 12:48
  this
• 12:48
  week,
• 12:48
  but
• 12:49
  I
• 12:49
  was
• 12:49
  watching
• 12:50
  an
• 12:50
  analysis
• 12:51
  on
• 12:51
  YouTube
• 12:51
  this
• 12:51
  morning,
• 12:52
  and
• 12:53
  it
• 12:53
  brought
• 12:53
  up
• 12:53
  that
• 12:53
  episode.
• 12:54
  And
• 12:54
  it
• 12:54
  also
• 12:54
  just
• 12:54
  came
• 12:54
  back
• 12:55
  to
• 12:55
  me
• 12:55
  because
• 12:55
  I
• 12:55
  think
• 12:55
  it
• 12:55
  was
• 12:56
  so
• 12:56
  striking,
• 12:57
  even
• 12:57
  as
• 12:57
  a
• 12:57
  kid.
• 12:57
  And,
• 12:58
  you
• 12:58
  know,
• 12:58
  this
• 12:58
  is.
• 12:58
  I
• 12:58
  mean,
• 12:59
  it's
• 12:59
  a
• 12:59
  kid
• 12:59
  show.
• 13:00
  And
• 13:00
  the.
• 13:00
  Mr.
• 13:01
  Nguyen
• 13:01
  is
• 13:01
  from
• 13:02
  Vietnam.
• 13:02
  He
• 13:03
  had
• 13:03
  to
• 13:03
  give
• 13:03
  up
• 13:04
  his
• 13:04
  daughter
• 13:05
  to
• 13:05
  save
• 13:05
  her,
• 13:06
  like,
• 13:06
  and
• 13:06
  to
• 13:06
  send
• 13:06
  her
• 13:07
  to
• 13:07
  America.
• 13:08
  When
• 13:08
  he
• 13:08
  was
• 13:08
  still
• 13:08
  there
• 13:09
  and
• 13:10
  has
• 13:10
  been
• 13:10
  trying
• 13:10
  to
• 13:10
  reunite
• 13:11
  with
• 13:11
  her
• 13:11
  all
• 13:11
  these
• 13:11
  years.
• 13:12
  Like,
• 13:12
  that
• 13:12
  is
• 13:13
  such
• 13:13
  a.
• 13:13
  Like,
• 13:13
  you
• 13:14
  know,
• 13:14
  heartbreaking
• 13:14
  and
• 13:14
  also
• 13:15
  emotional
• 13:16
  journey
• 13:17
  that
• 13:17
  they
• 13:18
  tackled
• 13:18
  right.
• 13:18
  In
• 13:19
  the
• 13:19
  kids
• 13:19
  show.
• 13:19
  And,
• 13:20
  you
• 13:20
  know,
• 13:20
  and
• 13:20
  like
• 13:20
  you
• 13:21
  said,
• 13:21
  there
• 13:21
  are
• 13:21
  other
• 13:21
  themes
• 13:21
  of
• 13:22
  bullying,
• 13:23
  of
• 13:23
  social
• 13:24
  anxiety.
• 13:24
  And
• 13:25
  also.
• 13:25
  And
• 13:25
  one
• 13:25
  of
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  things
• 13:26
  that
• 13:26
  a
• 13:26
  video
• 13:27
  essay
• 13:27
  pointed
• 13:27
  out
• 13:28
  that
• 13:28
  I
• 13:28
  don't
• 13:28
  know
• 13:28
  if
• 13:28
  I
• 13:29
  was
• 13:29
  fully
• 13:29
  cognizant
• 13:30
  of
• 13:30
  at
• 13:30
  the
• 13:30
  time.
• 13:31
  But,
• 13:32
  you
• 13:32
  know,
• 13:32
  one
• 13:32
  thing
• 13:32
  that's
• 13:33
  really
• 13:33
  striking
• 13:33
  about
• 13:34
  the
• 13:34
  show,
• 13:34
  and
• 13:35
  the
• 13:35
  creator,
• 13:35
  Craig
• 13:36
  Bartlett,
• 13:36
  was
• 13:36
  heavily
• 13:37
  influenced
• 13:38
  by
• 13:38
  Charlie
• 13:39
  Brown
• 13:39
  in
• 13:39
  this
• 13:39
  respect,
• 13:40
  is
• 13:40
  many
• 13:41
  of
• 13:41
  the
• 13:41
  moments.
• 13:42
  And
• 13:42
  a
• 13:42
  lot
• 13:42
  of
• 13:43
  episodes
• 13:43
  really
• 13:43
  are
• 13:44
  just
• 13:44
  kind
• 13:45
  of
• 13:45
  characters
• 13:47
  silently
• 13:47
  dealing
• 13:48
  with
• 13:48
  emotions.
• 13:49
  And,
• 13:50
  you
• 13:50
  know,
• 13:51
  they're
• 13:52
  long
• 13:53
  stretches
• 13:53
  without
• 13:54
  any
• 13:54
  big
• 13:55
  plot
• 13:55
  mechanics
• 13:56
  happening.
• 13:57
  It's
• 13:57
  very,
• 13:58
  you
• 13:58
  know,
• 13:58
  just
• 13:58
  like
• 13:59
  Arnold
• 14:00
  kind
• 14:00
  of
• 14:01
  staring
• 14:01
  up
• 14:02
  at
• 14:02
  the
• 14:02
  ceiling
• 14:03
  or,
• 14:03
  you
• 14:04
  know,
• 14:04
  being
• 14:05
  kind
• 14:05
  of.
• 14:05
  Or,
• 14:05
  like,
• 14:06
  daydreaming
• 14:07
  about
• 14:07
  a
• 14:07
  more
• 14:07
  fantastical
• 14:08
  life
• 14:08
  and
• 14:08
  then
• 14:09
  looking
• 14:09
  around
• 14:10
  at
• 14:10
  reality
• 14:11
  and
• 14:11
  being
• 14:11
  kind
• 14:12
  of
• 14:12
  confined
• 14:12
  there.
• 14:13
  And
• 14:13
  then
• 14:14
  over
• 14:14
  time,
• 14:14
  learning
• 14:15
  to
• 14:15
  accept
• 14:15
  that,
• 14:16
  oh,
• 14:16
  actually,
• 14:17
  he
• 14:17
  has
• 14:18
  a
• 14:18
  lot
• 14:18
  of
• 14:18
  beauty
• 14:19
  in
• 14:19
  his
• 14:19
  life.
• 14:19
  And.
• 14:20
  But,
• 14:20
  yeah,
• 14:20
  in
• 14:21
  the
• 14:21
  early
• 14:21
  episodes
• 14:22
  when,
• 14:22
  yeah,
• 14:23
  there
• 14:23
  are
• 14:23
  entire
• 14:23
  sequences
• 14:24
  where
• 14:24
  not
• 14:25
  talking,
• 14:25
  there's
• 14:25
  no
• 14:26
  big
• 14:26
  action
• 14:26
  set
• 14:26
  pieces
• 14:27
  happening.
• 14:27
  There's
• 14:28
  a
• 14:28
  lot
• 14:28
  of
• 14:28
  jazz
• 14:28
  music
• 14:29
  playing,
• 14:29
  and
• 14:30
  the
• 14:30
  colors
• 14:31
  are
• 14:31
  kind
• 14:31
  of
• 14:31
  muted,
• 14:31
  and
• 14:32
  he's
• 14:32
  just
• 14:32
  kind
• 14:33
  of,
• 14:33
  again,
• 14:34
  silently
• 14:34
  dealing
• 14:34
  with
• 14:34
  his
• 14:35
  emotions.
• 14:35
  And
• 14:36
  that's
• 14:37
  something
• 14:37
  that
• 14:38
  I
• 14:38
  don't
• 14:38
  think
• 14:38
  a
• 14:38
  lot
• 14:39
  of
• 14:39
  shows
• 14:39
  really
• 14:39
  tapped
• 14:40
  into
• 14:40
  is
• 14:40
  that
• 14:41
  as
• 14:41
  kids,
• 14:42
  we.
• 14:43
  And
• 14:43
  of
• 14:43
  course,
• 14:44
  as
• 14:44
  adults,
• 14:44
  too,
• 14:44
  like,
• 14:45
  there
• 14:45
  are
• 14:45
  different
• 14:45
  ways
• 14:46
  we
• 14:46
  deal
• 14:46
  with
• 14:46
  our
• 14:46
  emotions
• 14:47
  and
• 14:47
  we
• 14:47
  feel
• 14:48
  things.
• 14:48
  And
• 14:49
  for
• 14:49
  a
• 14:49
  lot
• 14:49
  of
• 14:50
  the
• 14:50
  kid
• 14:50
  shows,
• 14:50
  they
• 14:51
  just
• 14:51
  wanted
• 14:51
  to
• 14:51
  have
• 14:52
  constant
• 14:52
  action,
• 14:53
  constant,
• 14:53
  you
• 14:54
  know,
• 14:54
  gags
• 14:54
  and
• 14:55
  pranks
• 14:55
  and
• 14:55
  ridiculousness
• 14:56
  and
• 14:57
  not
• 14:57
  really
• 14:57
  tap
• 14:57
  into
• 14:58
  the
• 14:58
  emotional
• 14:58
  complexities
• 14:59
  of
• 15:00
  their
• 15:00
  characters.
• 15:01
  And
• 15:01
  here
• 15:01
  it
• 15:01
  did
• 15:02
  it
• 15:02
  beautifully.
• 15:03
  It
• 15:03
  really
• 15:03
  did.
• 15:03
  And
• 15:04
  even,
• 15:04
  like,
• 15:04
  just
• 15:05
  trying
• 15:05
  to
• 15:05
  think
• 15:05
  back
• 15:06
  because,
• 15:06
  like
• 15:06
  I
• 15:06
  said,
• 15:06
  even
• 15:07
  a
• 15:07
  few
• 15:07
  years
• 15:07
  ago
• 15:07
  when
• 15:07
  I
• 15:08
  watched
• 15:08
  a
• 15:08
  couple
• 15:08
  of
• 15:08
  episodes,
• 15:09
  I'm,
• 15:10
  like,
• 15:11
  thinking
• 15:11
  through
• 15:12
  episodes
• 15:12
  that
• 15:12
  are
• 15:12
  popping
• 15:13
  into
• 15:13
  my
• 15:13
  head
• 15:13
  right
• 15:13
  now.
• 15:14
  Like,
• 15:14
  remember
• 15:14
  when
• 15:14
  Phoebe,
• 15:15
  she
• 15:15
  was
• 15:16
  doing
• 15:16
  a
• 15:16
  porridge
• 15:17
  poetry
• 15:17
  contest,
• 15:18
  and
• 15:19
  she
• 15:20
  pretty
• 15:21
  much
• 15:21
  plagiarized
• 15:22
  a
• 15:22
  poem.
• 15:22
  And
• 15:22
  I
• 15:22
  can
• 15:23
  literally,
• 15:23
  like,
• 15:23
  I
• 15:23
  hear
• 15:23
  your
• 15:24
  name
• 15:24
  ringing
• 15:25
  like
• 15:25
  a
• 15:25
  bell,
• 15:26
  like,
• 15:26
  ringing.
• 15:26
  Ringing
• 15:27
  in
• 15:27
  my
• 15:27
  heart.
• 15:27
  And
• 15:28
  so
• 15:28
  I'm
• 15:28
  probably,
• 15:28
  like,
• 15:28
  a
• 15:28
  word
• 15:28
  or
• 15:29
  two
• 15:29
  off.
• 15:29
  But
• 15:29
  I,
• 15:29
  like,
• 15:29
  remember
• 15:30
  that
• 15:30
  poem.
• 15:31
  Yeah.
• 15:31
  That
• 15:31
  she
• 15:32
  copied.
• 15:32
  So
• 15:32
  now
• 15:32
  she
• 15:33
  has
• 15:33
  the.
• 15:33
  The.
• 15:33
  She
• 15:34
  has
• 15:34
  to
• 15:34
  deal
• 15:34
  with
• 15:34
  the
• 15:34
  guilt.
• 15:35
  So,
• 15:35
  number
• 15:36
  one,
• 15:36
  the
• 15:36
  pressure
• 15:36
  she
• 15:36
  put
• 15:37
  on
• 15:37
  herself.
• 15:37
  No
• 15:37
  one
• 15:38
  put
• 15:38
  that
• 15:38
  pressure
• 15:38
  on
• 15:38
  her.
• 15:39
  But
• 15:39
  because
• 15:39
  she
• 15:39
  is
• 15:40
  Phoebe,
• 15:40
  you
• 15:41
  can
• 15:41
  see
• 15:41
  she's
• 15:41
  some
• 15:41
  kind
• 15:42
  of,
• 15:42
  like,
• 15:42
  Asian
• 15:42
  descent.
• 15:43
  So
• 15:43
  she
• 15:43
  has
• 15:43
  that
• 15:44
  classic,
• 15:44
  like,
• 15:44
  Asian
• 15:45
  you
• 15:45
  know,
• 15:45
  parents
• 15:45
  with
• 15:45
  the
• 15:45
  academia
• 15:46
  and
• 15:47
  whatnot
• 15:47
  giving
• 15:48
  her
• 15:48
  pressure,
• 15:48
  but
• 15:48
  how
• 15:49
  she
• 15:49
  just
• 15:49
  put
• 15:49
  so
• 15:49
  much
• 15:50
  pressure
• 15:50
  on
• 15:50
  herself
• 15:51
  and
• 15:51
  then
• 15:52
  how
• 15:52
  she
• 15:52
  cheated
• 15:52
  and
• 15:53
  how
• 15:53
  she
• 15:53
  had
• 15:53
  to
• 15:53
  wrestle
• 15:53
  with
• 15:54
  what
• 15:54
  she
• 15:54
  did
• 15:54
  with
• 15:55
  it
• 15:55
  because
• 15:55
  she
• 15:55
  won
• 15:55
  an
• 15:56
  award
• 15:56
  and
• 15:56
  the
• 15:57
  guilt.
• 15:57
  And
• 15:58
  then
• 15:58
  also
• 15:58
  with
• 15:58
  Phoebe,
• 15:59
  I
• 15:59
  think
• 15:59
  Phoebe
• 15:59
  might
• 15:59
  be
• 15:59
  my
• 16:00
  favorite
• 16:00
  character,
• 16:00
  and
• 16:00
  it
• 16:01
  is
• 16:01
  probably
• 16:01
  because
• 16:02
  I
• 16:02
  identified
• 16:02
  with
• 16:03
  her
• 16:03
  since
• 16:03
  I
• 16:03
  also
• 16:03
  have
• 16:04
  strict
• 16:04
  Asian
• 16:04
  dad
• 16:05
  and
• 16:05
  I
• 16:06
  saw
• 16:06
  myself
• 16:06
  in
• 16:06
  her
• 16:06
  a
• 16:06
  lot.
• 16:07
  But
• 16:07
  she
• 16:07
  got
• 16:07
  promoted
• 16:08
  to,
• 16:08
  like,
• 16:08
  the
• 16:09
  fifth
• 16:09
  grade,
• 16:09
  and
• 16:09
  then
• 16:10
  she
• 16:10
  was
• 16:10
  bullied
• 16:10
  and
• 16:11
  was
• 16:11
  made
• 16:11
  to
• 16:11
  do,
• 16:11
  like,
• 16:11
  all
• 16:12
  the
• 16:12
  homework,
• 16:12
  and
• 16:12
  they
• 16:12
  pretended
• 16:13
  to
• 16:13
  like
• 16:13
  her
• 16:13
  just
• 16:14
  because
• 16:14
  they
• 16:14
  wanted
• 16:14
  to
• 16:14
  use
• 16:14
  her.
• 16:15
  And
• 16:15
  so
• 16:15
  she
• 16:15
  had
• 16:16
  to
• 16:16
  navigate
• 16:17
  through
• 16:17
  that
• 16:18
  bullying.
• 16:18
  And
• 16:19
  then
• 16:19
  I
• 16:19
  think
• 16:19
  about
• 16:19
  how
• 16:20
  Jerome.
• 16:21
  It
• 16:21
  was
• 16:21
  his
• 16:21
  name.
• 16:22
  Jerome,
• 16:22
  A.
• 16:22
  Gerald.
• 16:23
  Gerald.
• 16:23
  Yeah,
• 16:24
  I
• 16:24
  knew
• 16:24
  it
• 16:24
  was
• 16:25
  something
• 16:25
  like
• 16:25
  that.
• 16:25
  But
• 16:25
  remember
• 16:26
  when
• 16:26
  Gerald
• 16:26
  had
• 16:26
  a
• 16:26
  fight
• 16:27
  with
• 16:27
  his
• 16:27
  parents?
• 16:27
  So
• 16:28
  he,
• 16:28
  quote,
• 16:28
  ran
• 16:28
  away
• 16:29
  and
• 16:29
  moved
• 16:29
  out
• 16:29
  and
• 16:30
  rented
• 16:30
  a
• 16:30
  room
• 16:30
  at
• 16:30
  arnold's
• 16:31
  place
• 16:31
  for
• 16:31
  25
• 16:32
  cents.
• 16:32
  And
• 16:32
  so,
• 16:33
  like,
• 16:33
  he
• 16:33
  had
• 16:33
  to
• 16:33
  go
• 16:33
  through
• 16:34
  the
• 16:34
  whole,
• 16:34
  like,
• 16:34
  process
• 16:34
  of,
• 16:35
  wait,
• 16:35
  my
• 16:35
  parents
• 16:36
  do
• 16:36
  love
• 16:36
  me
• 16:36
  and
• 16:36
  they
• 16:37
  care
• 16:37
  for
• 16:37
  me.
• 16:37
  And
• 16:37
  because
• 16:38
  they.
• 16:39
  He
• 16:39
  never
• 16:39
  had
• 16:39
  to
• 16:40
  learn
• 16:40
  how
• 16:40
  to
• 16:40
  do
• 16:40
  laundry
• 16:41
  until,
• 16:41
  like,
• 16:41
  he
• 16:42
  moved
• 16:42
  out,
• 16:42
  quote,
• 16:43
  on
• 16:43
  his
• 16:43
  own.
• 16:43
  And
• 16:44
  so
• 16:44
  it
• 16:44
  was
• 16:44
  just
• 16:44
  such
• 16:45
  a,
• 16:45
  like,
• 16:45
  wholesome
• 16:46
  show,
• 16:47
  no
• 16:47
  entitlement,
• 16:48
  that
• 16:48
  no
• 16:48
  one
• 16:48
  was
• 16:48
  on
• 16:49
  their
• 16:49
  phones
• 16:50
  because
• 16:50
  they
• 16:50
  didn't
• 16:50
  have
• 16:50
  phones
• 16:51
  in
• 16:51
  the
• 16:51
  90s.
• 16:51
  They
• 16:52
  literally
• 16:52
  went
• 16:52
  out
• 16:52
  on
• 16:52
  the
• 16:53
  streets
• 16:53
  and
• 16:53
  hung
• 16:53
  out.
• 16:54
  Absolutely.
• 16:54
  And.
• 16:55
  No,
• 16:55
  I'm
• 16:55
  glad
• 16:56
  you
• 16:56
  brought
• 16:56
  that
• 16:56
  up.
• 16:56
  So
• 16:56
  Gerald,
• 16:57
  because,
• 16:57
  like,
• 16:57
  he
• 16:57
  was
• 16:58
  definitely
• 16:58
  one
• 16:58
  of
• 16:58
  my
• 16:59
  favorite
• 16:59
  characters,
• 16:59
  and
• 17:00
  what
• 17:00
  I
• 17:00
  like
• 17:00
  about
• 17:00
  him
• 17:01
  was,
• 17:01
  you
• 17:01
  know,
• 17:02
  he's
• 17:02
  the
• 17:02
  best
• 17:02
  friend.
• 17:03
  And
• 17:04
  a
• 17:04
  lot
• 17:04
  of
• 17:04
  times,
• 17:05
  like,
• 17:05
  the
• 17:05
  best
• 17:05
  friend
• 17:06
  gets
• 17:06
  kind
• 17:06
  of
• 17:06
  reduced
• 17:06
  to,
• 17:07
  like,
• 17:07
  sidekick
• 17:07
  role.
• 17:08
  He
• 17:08
  was
• 17:08
  the
• 17:08
  more
• 17:09
  charismatic
• 17:09
  leader
• 17:10
  of
• 17:10
  the
• 17:10
  group
• 17:10
  and
• 17:11
  other
• 17:11
  friends,
• 17:11
  and
• 17:11
  he's
• 17:12
  the
• 17:12
  kind
• 17:12
  of
• 17:12
  cool
• 17:12
  one.
• 17:12
  And
• 17:13
  it's
• 17:14
  a
• 17:14
  lot
• 17:14
  more
• 17:15
  charismatic
• 17:15
  than
• 17:16
  Arnold
• 17:16
  and
• 17:16
  some
• 17:16
  of
• 17:17
  the
• 17:17
  others.
• 17:17
  But
• 17:17
  then
• 17:17
  you
• 17:17
  have
• 17:18
  something
• 17:18
  like,
• 17:18
  where
• 17:18
  he
• 17:18
  has
• 17:19
  vulnerabilities
• 17:19
  as
• 17:20
  well,
• 17:20
  and
• 17:20
  you
• 17:20
  get
• 17:20
  to
• 17:20
  explore
• 17:20
  those.
• 17:21
  And,
• 17:21
  you
• 17:22
  know,
• 17:22
  and
• 17:22
  I.
• 17:23
  I
• 17:23
  was
• 17:23
  reminded,
• 17:23
  too,
• 17:23
  in
• 17:24
  that
• 17:24
  video
• 17:24
  essay
• 17:25
  of
• 17:25
  one
• 17:25
  of
• 17:25
  my
• 17:26
  favorites
• 17:26
  is
• 17:26
  when
• 17:28
  they're.
• 17:28
  The
• 17:29
  kids
• 17:29
  and
• 17:30
  adults
• 17:30
  are
• 17:31
  fighting
• 17:31
  over.
• 17:33
  What
• 17:33
  was
• 17:33
  it
• 17:33
  like,
• 17:33
  the.
• 17:34
  The
• 17:34
  back
• 17:34
  lot
• 17:35
  that
• 17:35
  gets
• 17:35
  trashed
• 17:36
  and
• 17:36
  stuff.
• 17:36
  And,
• 17:36
  like,
• 17:36
  they.
• 17:38
  Adults
• 17:38
  take
• 17:38
  it
• 17:38
  over
• 17:39
  and
• 17:39
  then
• 17:40
  they
• 17:40
  trash
• 17:40
  it,
• 17:40
  and
• 17:40
  the
• 17:41
  kids
• 17:41
  want
• 17:41
  to
• 17:41
  use
• 17:41
  it
• 17:41
  to
• 17:41
  play.
• 17:42
  And
• 17:42
  it
• 17:42
  showed
• 17:42
  this
• 17:42
  dichotomy
• 17:43
  between
• 17:43
  them
• 17:44
  and
• 17:44
  how
• 17:44
  a
• 17:44
  lot
• 17:44
  of
• 17:44
  the
• 17:45
  adults
• 17:45
  still
• 17:45
  had
• 17:45
  plenty
• 17:45
  of
• 17:46
  immaturities
• 17:47
  to
• 17:47
  work
• 17:47
  through.
• 17:48
  Um,
• 17:48
  so
• 17:48
  it
• 17:48
  was
• 17:48
  not
• 17:49
  portraying,
• 17:49
  like,
• 17:50
  you
• 17:50
  know,
• 17:50
  the
• 17:51
  adults
• 17:51
  is
• 17:51
  infallible.
• 17:52
  And
• 17:52
  I
• 17:52
  really
• 17:52
  like
• 17:52
  that
• 17:53
  as
• 17:53
  well.
• 17:53
  Yeah,
• 17:54
  they
• 17:54
  did
• 17:55
  it.
• 17:55
  Oh,
• 17:55
  go
• 17:55
  ahead.
• 17:56
  They
• 17:57
  did
• 17:57
  a
• 17:57
  really
• 17:57
  good
• 17:57
  job.
• 17:58
  Because
• 17:58
  when
• 17:58
  I
• 17:58
  think
• 17:58
  about
• 17:59
  a
• 17:59
  lot
• 17:59
  of,
• 17:59
  like,
• 17:59
  TV
• 18:00
  shows
• 18:00
  in
• 18:00
  the
• 18:00
  settings,
• 18:01
  it's
• 18:01
  usually
• 18:02
  kids
• 18:02
  perspective
• 18:03
  settings
• 18:03
  and
• 18:03
  they
• 18:03
  have
• 18:04
  very
• 18:04
  little
• 18:04
  interaction
• 18:04
  with
• 18:05
  adults,
• 18:05
  or
• 18:06
  it's
• 18:06
  just
• 18:06
  like
• 18:07
  adults.
• 18:07
  But
• 18:07
  this
• 18:08
  one
• 18:08
  did
• 18:08
  a
• 18:08
  really
• 18:08
  good
• 18:09
  blend
• 18:09
  of
• 18:10
  Arnold
• 18:10
  interacting
• 18:11
  with
• 18:11
  both
• 18:12
  his
• 18:12
  peers
• 18:12
  and
• 18:13
  older
• 18:13
  adults
• 18:13
  and
• 18:14
  having
• 18:14
  relationships
• 18:15
  with
• 18:15
  both.
• 18:15
  And
• 18:16
  so
• 18:17
  that,
• 18:17
  I
• 18:17
  think,
• 18:17
  is
• 18:17
  very
• 18:18
  unique
• 18:18
  in
• 18:18
  this
• 18:18
  scenario
• 18:19
  because,
• 18:19
  for
• 18:19
  example,
• 18:20
  Doug,
• 18:20
  all
• 18:21
  high
• 18:21
  school,
• 18:21
  you
• 18:21
  know,
• 18:22
  rugbacks,
• 18:22
  all
• 18:23
  kids
• 18:24
  and
• 18:24
  stuff
• 18:24
  like
• 18:25
  that.
• 18:25
  So
• 18:25
  just
• 18:25
  being
• 18:26
  able
• 18:26
  to,
• 18:26
  like,
• 18:26
  actually
• 18:27
  get
• 18:27
  to
• 18:27
  know
• 18:27
  all
• 18:27
  the
• 18:27
  adult
• 18:28
  characters
• 18:28
  of
• 18:28
  who
• 18:29
  lived
• 18:29
  in
• 18:29
  the
• 18:29
  Boarding
• 18:30
  house
• 18:30
  was
• 18:30
  super
• 18:31
  special.
• 18:31
  And
• 18:31
  they
• 18:31
  all
• 18:32
  had
• 18:32
  family
• 18:32
  meals
• 18:32
  together,
• 18:33
  which
• 18:33
  I
• 18:34
  feel
• 18:34
  like
• 18:34
  is
• 18:34
  very
• 18:34
  sweet.
• 18:35
  And
• 18:35
  that
• 18:35
  was
• 18:35
  the
• 18:35
  thing.
• 18:36
  It
• 18:36
  puts
• 18:36
  such
• 18:36
  an
• 18:37
  emphasis
• 18:37
  on
• 18:37
  community
• 18:38
  and
• 18:38
  communal
• 18:39
  living.
• 18:39
  And
• 18:39
  like
• 18:40
  you
• 18:40
  said,
• 18:40
  that
• 18:40
  wasn't
• 18:40
  really
• 18:41
  that
• 18:41
  popular
• 18:41
  in
• 18:41
  the
• 18:41
  90s.
• 18:42
  And
• 18:42
  like,
• 18:42
  90s
• 18:43
  was
• 18:43
  still
• 18:43
  very
• 18:44
  much
• 18:44
  in,
• 18:45
  you
• 18:45
  know,
• 18:45
  emphasizing
• 18:46
  nuclear
• 18:47
  family
• 18:47
  and
• 18:47
  traditional
• 18:48
  families.
• 18:48
  And,
• 18:48
  you
• 18:48
  know,
• 18:49
  while
• 18:50
  I
• 18:50
  did
• 18:50
  have
• 18:50
  that,
• 18:51
  like,
• 18:51
  you
• 18:51
  know,
• 18:51
  I
• 18:51
  mean,
• 18:51
  there's
• 18:52
  plenty
• 18:52
  of
• 18:52
  kids
• 18:52
  who
• 18:52
  don't
• 18:53
  have
• 18:53
  that
• 18:53
  and,
• 18:53
  like,
• 18:53
  they
• 18:53
  have
• 18:54
  different
• 18:54
  living
• 18:55
  situations
• 18:55
  and.
• 18:56
  And
• 18:56
  so
• 18:57
  I
• 18:57
  think
• 18:57
  it
• 18:57
  was
• 18:57
  really
• 18:58
  progressive
• 18:59
  and
• 18:59
  really
• 18:59
  cool
• 18:59
  to
• 19:00
  explore
• 19:00
  that
• 19:00
  and
• 19:01
  to
• 19:01
  show
• 19:02
  the
• 19:02
  dynamics
• 19:02
  between
• 19:02
  all
• 19:03
  the
• 19:03
  characters
• 19:03
  of
• 19:04
  different
• 19:04
  ages,
• 19:05
  backgrounds
• 19:06
  and
• 19:06
  ethnicities,
• 19:08
  you
• 19:08
  know,
• 19:08
  and
• 19:09
  it
• 19:09
  was
• 19:09
  just
• 19:09
  fine.
• 19:10
  Yeah,
• 19:10
  everyone
• 19:11
  had
• 19:11
  their
• 19:12
  strengths,
• 19:12
  everyone
• 19:12
  had
• 19:13
  their
• 19:13
  flaws.
• 19:13
  It
• 19:14
  was
• 19:14
  just
• 19:15
  really
• 19:15
  astounding
• 19:16
  how
• 19:16
  much
• 19:16
  they
• 19:17
  embedded
• 19:18
  into
• 19:18
  a
• 19:19
  series
• 19:19
  that,
• 19:19
  you
• 19:20
  know,
• 19:20
  I
• 19:20
  think
• 19:20
  at
• 19:20
  the
• 19:20
  time
• 19:20
  I
• 19:21
  was
• 19:21
  just
• 19:21
  like,
• 19:22
  it
• 19:22
  was
• 19:22
  just
• 19:22
  a
• 19:22
  fun
• 19:23
  show
• 19:23
  and
• 19:23
  I
• 19:23
  was
• 19:23
  attracted
• 19:24
  to
• 19:24
  the
• 19:24
  characters
• 19:24
  and
• 19:24
  I
• 19:24
  liked
• 19:25
  the
• 19:25
  look
• 19:25
  of
• 19:25
  it
• 19:25
  and
• 19:25
  everything.
• 19:26
  But,
• 19:26
  yeah,
• 19:27
  looking
• 19:27
  at
• 19:27
  it
• 19:27
  as
• 19:27
  an
• 19:27
  adult,
• 19:28
  it's
• 19:28
  amazing
• 19:29
  how
• 19:30
  thoughtful
• 19:31
  a
• 19:31
  series
• 19:31
  it
• 19:31
  was
• 19:32
  and
• 19:32
  how
• 19:33
  much
• 19:33
  nuance
• 19:34
  there
• 19:34
  was
• 19:34
  in
• 19:34
  the
• 19:34
  characters
• 19:35
  and
• 19:35
  in
• 19:35
  the
• 19:35
  settings.
• 19:36
  And
• 19:36
  then
• 19:36
  another
• 19:37
  one
• 19:37
  of
• 19:37
  the
• 19:37
  core
• 19:37
  aspects
• 19:38
  of
• 19:38
  it
• 19:38
  was
• 19:39
  so,
• 19:39
  like
• 19:39
  a
• 19:39
  lot
• 19:40
  of
• 19:40
  it,
• 19:40
  the
• 19:40
  episodes
• 19:41
  are
• 19:42
  sort
• 19:42
  of
• 19:42
  a
• 19:42
  slice
• 19:42
  of
• 19:42
  life
• 19:43
  and
• 19:43
  they
• 19:44
  get
• 19:44
  into
• 19:44
  the
• 19:44
  backstories
• 19:45
  of
• 19:45
  different
• 19:45
  characters.
• 19:46
  But
• 19:46
  something
• 19:46
  that
• 19:47
  happened
• 19:47
  in
• 19:47
  each
• 19:47
  season
• 19:48
  and
• 19:48
  periodic
• 19:49
  throughout
• 19:49
  is
• 19:50
  because
• 19:50
  it's
• 19:50
  an
• 19:50
  urban
• 19:51
  community,
• 19:51
  is
• 19:52
  they
• 19:52
  would
• 19:52
  incorporate
• 19:53
  urban
• 19:53
  myths
• 19:54
  into
• 19:55
  this
• 19:55
  world.
• 19:55
  And
• 19:56
  it
• 19:56
  would
• 19:56
  always
• 19:56
  be
• 19:57
  Gerald
• 19:57
  and
• 19:58
  Sid,
• 19:58
  one
• 19:58
  of
• 19:58
  the
• 19:58
  other
• 19:58
  characters
• 19:59
  going
• 19:59
  and
• 20:00
  telling
• 20:00
  a
• 20:00
  story
• 20:00
  and
• 20:01
  saying,
• 20:01
  oh,
• 20:01
  there's
• 20:02
  this
• 20:02
  weird
• 20:02
  guy
• 20:02
  in
• 20:03
  the
• 20:03
  tunnels
• 20:03
  or
• 20:03
  underground
• 20:04
  or
• 20:04
  whatever.
• 20:05
  And
• 20:05
  then
• 20:05
  the
• 20:06
  kids
• 20:06
  go
• 20:06
  and
• 20:06
  explore
• 20:07
  that
• 20:07
  and.
• 20:08
  And
• 20:08
  sometimes
• 20:09
  it's
• 20:09
  like
• 20:09
  a
• 20:09
  villain.
• 20:09
  And
• 20:10
  I
• 20:10
  remember
• 20:11
  one.
• 20:12
  Maybe
• 20:12
  you
• 20:12
  remember
• 20:12
  this
• 20:13
  more.
• 20:14
  It
• 20:14
  was
• 20:14
  sort
• 20:15
  of
• 20:15
  like
• 20:15
  a
• 20:15
  Mole
• 20:15
  man
• 20:16
  type
• 20:16
  character
• 20:16
  that
• 20:16
  they.
• 20:17
  And
• 20:17
  I
• 20:17
  just
• 20:17
  remember
• 20:18
  Arnold
• 20:19
  having
• 20:20
  to
• 20:20
  play
• 20:21
  chess
• 20:21
  with
• 20:21
  him
• 20:22
  to
• 20:22
  get
• 20:23
  out
• 20:23
  of
• 20:23
  it.
• 20:23
  Do
• 20:23
  you
• 20:23
  know
• 20:23
  what
• 20:23
  I'm
• 20:24
  talking
• 20:24
  about?
• 20:24
  Yeah,
• 20:25
  yeah,
• 20:25
  very
• 20:26
  briefly.
• 20:26
  And
• 20:26
  it
• 20:26
  was
• 20:27
  just.
• 20:27
  Was
• 20:27
  it
• 20:28
  a
• 20:28
  homeless
• 20:28
  guy?
• 20:28
  I
• 20:29
  can't
• 20:29
  Remember?
• 21:20
  I
• 21:21
  think
• 21:21
  so.
• 21:21
  It
• 21:21
  was.
• 21:22
  It
• 21:22
  almost
• 21:23
  looked
• 21:23
  like
• 21:23
  I
• 21:23
  said
• 21:24
  mole
• 21:24
  man,
• 21:24
  because
• 21:24
  it
• 21:25
  almost
• 21:25
  like,
• 21:25
  I
• 21:26
  think
• 21:26
  of,
• 21:26
  like,
• 21:26
  Moleman
• 21:26
  from
• 21:26
  Fantastic
• 21:27
  Four.
• 21:27
  It
• 21:28
  had
• 21:28
  kind
• 21:28
  of
• 21:28
  that.
• 21:29
  But,
• 21:29
  like,
• 21:29
  I
• 21:29
  want
• 21:30
  to
• 21:30
  say
• 21:30
  that
• 21:30
  he,
• 21:30
  like,
• 21:30
  had,
• 21:31
  like,
• 21:31
  an
• 21:31
  underground
• 21:32
  kingdom
• 21:32
  of
• 21:32
  sorts.
• 21:33
  Yeah,
• 21:34
  yeah,
• 21:34
  yeah,
• 21:35
  yeah.
• 20:44
  And,
• 21:35
  like,
• 21:35
  you're
• 21:36
  never
• 21:36
  going
• 21:36
  to
• 21:36
  be
• 21:36
  honest,
• 21:36
  but
• 21:37
  I
• 21:37
  always
• 21:37
  remember
• 21:37
  that,
• 21:38
  like,
• 21:38
  he
• 21:38
  played
• 21:38
  chess
• 21:38
  with
• 21:38
  him
• 21:39
  at
• 21:39
  the
• 21:39
  end
• 21:39
  as
• 21:39
  a
• 21:40
  wedge.
• 21:40
  But.
• 21:40
  And
• 21:41
  so
• 21:41
  it
• 21:41
  was
• 21:42
  so
• 21:42
  much
• 21:42
  fun.
• 21:42
  It
• 21:42
  was
• 21:42
  like
• 21:43
  they
• 21:43
  had
• 21:44
  those
• 21:44
  as,
• 21:44
  like,
• 21:44
  adventures
• 21:45
  and
• 21:46
  got
• 21:46
  to
• 21:46
  explore
• 21:47
  urban
• 21:48
  myths.
• 21:48
  And
• 21:48
  it
• 21:48
  reminded
• 21:49
  me
• 21:49
  to
• 21:49
  a
• 21:49
  lot
• 21:50
  of.
• 21:50
  I
• 21:50
  had
• 21:50
  a
• 21:51
  social
• 21:51
  studies
• 21:52
  teacher
• 21:52
  in
• 21:52
  middle
• 21:53
  school
• 21:53
  who
• 21:54
  would
• 21:54
  every.
• 21:55
  At
• 21:55
  the
• 21:55
  end
• 21:55
  of
• 21:55
  every
• 21:56
  week
• 21:56
  on
• 21:56
  Fridays,
• 21:57
  tell
• 21:57
  us
• 21:57
  ghost
• 21:58
  stories
• 21:58
  that
• 21:58
  were,
• 21:59
  like,
• 21:59
  rooted
• 21:59
  specifically
• 22:00
  in
• 22:00
  North
• 22:00
  Carolina
• 22:01
  folklore.
• 22:02
  And
• 22:02
  he
• 22:03
  was
• 22:03
  really
• 22:03
  good
• 22:03
  at,
• 22:03
  like,
• 22:04
  jump
• 22:04
  scares
• 22:04
  and.
• 22:05
  And
• 22:05
  we
• 22:05
  always
• 22:06
  looked
• 22:06
  forward
• 22:06
  to
• 22:06
  that.
• 22:06
  It
• 22:06
  was
• 22:06
  a
• 22:07
  ton
• 22:07
  of
• 22:07
  fun.
• 22:07
  But
• 22:07
  it
• 22:07
  was
• 22:07
  kind
• 22:08
  of
• 22:08
  like
• 22:08
  that.
• 22:08
  It
• 22:08
  was
• 22:08
  like
• 22:08
  you
• 22:08
  get
• 22:09
  the,
• 22:10
  you
• 22:10
  know,
• 22:10
  the
• 22:11
  meat
• 22:11
  of
• 22:11
  the,
• 22:12
  you
• 22:12
  know,
• 22:12
  characters,
• 22:12
  backstories,
• 22:13
  all
• 22:13
  stuff.
• 22:13
  And
• 22:14
  then
• 22:14
  you
• 22:14
  would
• 22:14
  always
• 22:14
  look
• 22:14
  forward
• 22:15
  to
• 22:15
  these,
• 22:15
  like,
• 22:15
  little
• 22:16
  urban
• 22:16
  adventures,
• 22:17
  too.
• 22:18
  So
• 22:18
  it
• 22:19
  was
• 22:19
  just
• 22:19
  a
• 22:19
  really
• 22:20
  well
• 22:20
  constructed
• 22:21
  series.
• 22:21
  And.
• 22:23
  Yeah.
• 22:23
  And
• 22:23
  then
• 22:24
  there
• 22:24
  would
• 22:24
  be
• 22:24
  another
• 22:24
  episode
• 22:25
  where,
• 22:25
  like,
• 22:26
  Arnold
• 22:26
  and
• 22:26
  Gerald
• 22:27
  skip
• 22:27
  school,
• 22:27
  and
• 22:28
  then
• 22:28
  they're.
• 22:28
  And
• 22:29
  then,
• 22:29
  of
• 22:29
  course,
• 22:29
  the
• 22:29
  one
• 22:29
  day
• 22:29
  that
• 22:30
  they
• 22:30
  do
• 22:30
  skip,
• 22:30
  like,
• 22:31
  one
• 22:31
  of
• 22:31
  their
• 22:31
  teachers
• 22:31
  is
• 22:32
  at
• 22:32
  the
• 22:33
  carnival
• 22:33
  that
• 22:34
  they
• 22:34
  go
• 22:34
  to,
• 22:34
  as
• 22:34
  well,
• 22:34
  so
• 22:35
  they're
• 22:35
  having
• 22:35
  to
• 22:35
  dodge
• 22:35
  that.
• 22:36
  So
• 22:36
  it's
• 22:37
  just
• 22:37
  like,
• 22:37
  a
• 22:37
  lot
• 22:38
  of
• 22:38
  that.
• 22:39
  I
• 22:39
  think
• 22:39
  that
• 22:39
  was
• 22:39
  the
• 22:39
  beauty
• 22:40
  of
• 22:42
  cartoons
• 22:42
  of
• 22:42
  the
• 22:42
  stallion,
• 22:43
  just
• 22:43
  TV
• 22:43
  in
• 22:43
  general
• 22:44
  is
• 22:44
  there
• 22:45
  was
• 22:45
  a
• 22:45
  more
• 22:47
  episodic
• 22:47
  nature
• 22:48
  where
• 22:48
  you
• 22:48
  could
• 22:48
  just,
• 22:48
  like.
• 22:49
  You
• 22:49
  don't
• 22:50
  have
• 22:50
  to
• 22:50
  watch
• 22:50
  it
• 22:50
  in
• 22:50
  order.
• 22:51
  You
• 22:51
  could
• 22:51
  kind
• 22:51
  of,
• 22:51
  like,
• 22:52
  dance
• 22:52
  around
• 22:52
  and
• 22:52
  go
• 22:53
  to
• 22:53
  each
• 22:54
  episode
• 22:54
  and
• 22:54
  get
• 22:54
  a
• 22:54
  full
• 22:55
  narrative.
• 22:56
  Now,
• 22:56
  in
• 22:56
  this
• 22:56
  day
• 22:56
  and
• 22:57
  age
• 22:57
  is
• 22:57
  like,
• 22:57
  you
• 22:57
  have
• 22:58
  to
• 22:58
  watch
• 22:58
  shows
• 22:58
  in
• 22:58
  order
• 22:59
  because
• 22:59
  it
• 22:59
  plays
• 23:00
  out
• 23:00
  more
• 23:01
  like
• 23:01
  a
• 23:01
  novel
• 23:01
  and
• 23:02
  an
• 23:02
  ongoing
• 23:02
  narrative.
• 23:03
  But,
• 23:04
  yeah,
• 23:04
  you
• 23:04
  got
• 23:05
  all
• 23:05
  these
• 23:05
  individual
• 23:06
  stories
• 23:06
  here,
• 23:07
  and
• 23:07
  you
• 23:07
  got
• 23:07
  to
• 23:07
  explore
• 23:08
  your
• 23:08
  favorite
• 23:08
  characters
• 23:08
  in
• 23:09
  more
• 23:09
  depth.
• 23:10
  And
• 23:10
  it
• 23:10
  was
• 23:10
  just
• 23:10
  really
• 23:11
  cool
• 23:11
  to
• 23:11
  see
• 23:11
  all
• 23:12
  of
• 23:12
  that
• 23:12
  play
• 23:12
  out.
• 23:13
  Another.
• 23:14
  What's
• 23:14
  it
• 23:14
  called?
• 23:14
  I
• 23:14
  feel
• 23:14
  like
• 23:15
  I
• 23:15
  said
• 23:15
  this,
• 23:15
  like,
• 23:16
  made
• 23:16
  this
• 23:16
  reference
• 23:17
  when
• 23:17
  I
• 23:17
  say
• 23:17
  the
• 23:17
  other
• 23:18
  day.
• 23:18
  It
• 23:18
  was
• 23:18
  probably
• 23:18
  like,
• 23:18
  the
• 23:18
  other
• 23:19
  year,
• 23:19
  but
• 23:19
  I
• 23:20
  would.
• 23:20
  I
• 23:20
  remember
• 23:20
  just
• 23:21
  chanting
• 23:21
  randomly,
• 23:22
  stoop
• 23:22
  kids
• 23:23
  gonna
• 23:23
  leave
• 23:23
  a
• 23:23
  stoop.
• 23:24
  Yeah.
• 23:26
  Just
• 23:27
  like
• 23:27
  these
• 23:27
  little,
• 23:28
  like,
• 23:28
  core
• 23:30
  memories
• 23:30
  are
• 23:31
  coming
• 23:31
  up
• 23:31
  because
• 23:32
  it's
• 23:32
  just
• 23:32
  so.
• 23:33
  It's
• 23:33
  so
• 23:33
  crazy
• 23:34
  dealing
• 23:34
  with,
• 23:34
  like,
• 23:34
  just
• 23:35
  the
• 23:35
  anxiety
• 23:35
  of,
• 23:35
  like,
• 23:35
  someone
• 23:36
  who.
• 23:36
  He.
• 23:37
  He
• 23:37
  never
• 23:37
  has
• 23:38
  left
• 23:38
  his
• 23:38
  stoop
• 23:38
  before.
• 23:39
  And
• 23:39
  so
• 23:39
  now
• 23:39
  you.
• 23:40
  Someone
• 23:40
  who
• 23:41
  is
• 23:41
  usually
• 23:42
  a
• 23:42
  bully
• 23:42
  or
• 23:43
  people
• 23:43
  are
• 23:43
  afraid
• 23:43
  of.
• 23:43
  You
• 23:44
  see
• 23:44
  now
• 23:44
  the
• 23:44
  back
• 23:44
  reason,
• 23:45
  because
• 23:45
  usually
• 23:46
  if
• 23:46
  someone's
• 23:47
  A
• 23:47
  jerk
• 23:47
  or
• 23:47
  if
• 23:48
  someone
• 23:48
  is
• 23:49
  bullying,
• 23:49
  they
• 23:49
  have
• 23:50
  a,
• 23:50
  they
• 23:50
  have
• 23:50
  a
• 23:51
  story
• 23:51
  of
• 23:51
  why
• 23:51
  they
• 23:51
  are
• 23:51
  the
• 23:52
  way.
• 23:52
  There
• 23:53
  was
• 23:53
  an
• 23:53
  anime
• 23:54
  I
• 23:54
  was
• 23:54
  watching,
• 23:55
  might
• 23:56
  have
• 23:56
  been
• 23:56
  a
• 23:56
  manga
• 23:56
  I
• 23:56
  was
• 23:56
  reading,
• 23:57
  but
• 23:57
  pretty
• 23:57
  much
• 23:57
  it
• 23:57
  was
• 23:58
  an
• 23:58
  awful
• 23:58
  mom
• 23:58
  who
• 23:59
  berated
• 23:59
  her
• 23:59
  daughter.
• 24:00
  And
• 24:00
  so
• 24:00
  the
• 24:01
  daughter
• 24:01
  ended
• 24:01
  up
• 24:01
  running
• 24:01
  away.
• 24:02
  And
• 24:02
  so
• 24:03
  the
• 24:03
  mom
• 24:03
  is
• 24:03
  talking
• 24:04
  to
• 24:04
  her
• 24:04
  mom
• 24:04
  and
• 24:04
  so
• 24:05
  the
• 24:05
  mom
• 24:05
  is
• 24:05
  berating
• 24:05
  her
• 24:06
  like,
• 24:06
  I
• 24:06
  can't
• 24:06
  believe
• 24:06
  you
• 24:07
  let
• 24:07
  this
• 24:07
  happen.
• 24:07
  Now
• 24:07
  the
• 24:08
  news
• 24:08
  is
• 24:08
  here,
• 24:08
  you
• 24:08
  useless
• 24:09
  daughter.
• 24:10
  And
• 24:10
  it's
• 24:10
  just
• 24:10
  a
• 24:11
  cycle
• 24:11
  that
• 24:12
  never
• 24:12
  ends.
• 24:12
  And
• 24:12
  so
• 24:13
  you
• 24:13
  can
• 24:13
  kind
• 24:13
  of
• 24:13
  see
• 24:13
  that
• 24:14
  with
• 24:14
  some
• 24:14
  of
• 24:14
  these
• 24:14
  characters.
• 24:15
  And
• 24:15
  so
• 24:15
  they
• 24:16
  are
• 24:16
  actually
• 24:16
  breaking
• 24:17
  generational
• 24:18
  cycles
• 24:18
  with
• 24:19
  their
• 24:19
  anxiety,
• 24:19
  which
• 24:20
  in
• 24:20
  the
• 24:20
  90s
• 24:21
  we
• 24:21
  didn't
• 24:21
  talk
• 24:22
  about
• 24:22
  mental
• 24:22
  health
• 24:22
  and
• 24:23
  the
• 24:23
  importance
• 24:23
  like
• 24:23
  we
• 24:23
  do
• 24:24
  today
• 24:24
  and
• 24:25
  how
• 24:25
  we
• 24:25
  don't.
• 24:26
  We
• 24:26
  didn't
• 24:26
  talk
• 24:26
  about
• 24:26
  bullying
• 24:27
  like
• 24:27
  we
• 24:27
  do
• 24:28
  today.
• 24:28
  So
• 24:29
  really
• 24:29
  this,
• 24:29
  I
• 24:30
  say
• 24:30
  this
• 24:30
  cartoon
• 24:31
  was
• 24:31
  ahead
• 24:31
  of
• 24:31
  its
• 24:31
  time.
• 24:32
  Oh,
• 24:32
  I
• 24:32
  think
• 24:32
  very
• 24:33
  much
• 24:33
  so.
• 24:33
  And
• 24:33
  you
• 24:33
  look
• 24:34
  at
• 24:34
  even
• 24:34
  some
• 24:34
  of
• 24:34
  the
• 24:34
  bullies,
• 24:35
  like
• 24:35
  Harold
• 24:35
  was
• 24:35
  kind
• 24:35
  of
• 24:36
  like
• 24:36
  one
• 24:36
  of
• 24:36
  the
• 24:36
  bullies
• 24:36
  there,
• 24:37
  but
• 24:37
  was
• 24:37
  also
• 24:37
  among
• 24:38
  the
• 24:38
  friend
• 24:38
  group.
• 24:38
  Like
• 24:38
  they
• 24:39
  gave
• 24:39
  it
• 24:39
  what
• 24:40
  none
• 24:40
  of
• 24:40
  the
• 24:40
  characters
• 24:41
  were
• 24:41
  one
• 24:41
  note.
• 24:41
  And
• 24:42
  I
• 24:42
  love
• 24:42
  that
• 24:42
  you
• 24:42
  brought
• 24:42
  up
• 24:42
  the
• 24:43
  mental
• 24:43
  health
• 24:43
  aspect
• 24:43
  because
• 24:44
  I
• 24:44
  think
• 24:44
  it
• 24:44
  was
• 24:44
  very
• 24:45
  much
• 24:45
  like
• 24:46
  tackling
• 24:46
  mental
• 24:47
  health
• 24:47
  issues.
• 24:48
  Whether
• 24:49
  it
• 24:49
  was
• 24:49
  like
• 24:50
  expl.
• 24:51
  Well,
• 24:51
  I
• 24:51
  would
• 24:51
  say
• 24:51
  it's
• 24:51
  explicit.
• 24:52
  It's
• 24:52
  just
• 24:52
  like,
• 24:52
  I
• 24:52
  don't
• 24:53
  know
• 24:53
  that
• 24:53
  like
• 24:53
  as
• 24:53
  kids
• 24:54
  we
• 24:54
  were
• 24:54
  cognizant
• 24:55
  at
• 24:55
  that
• 24:55
  time,
• 24:55
  but
• 24:56
  we
• 24:56
  were
• 24:56
  seeing
• 24:56
  these
• 24:56
  characters
• 24:57
  portrayed
• 24:57
  in
• 24:58
  different
• 24:58
  lights
• 24:58
  and
• 24:58
  you
• 24:59
  know,
• 24:59
  someone
• 24:59
  like
• 24:59
  Harold
• 24:59
  who
• 25:00
  was
• 25:00
  like,
• 25:00
  he
• 25:01
  could
• 25:01
  have
• 25:01
  been
• 25:01
  a
• 25:01
  one
• 25:01
  dimensional
• 25:02
  bully
• 25:02
  on
• 25:02
  that.
• 25:02
  But
• 25:03
  then
• 25:03
  you
• 25:03
  get
• 25:03
  to
• 25:03
  feel
• 25:04
  for
• 25:04
  him
• 25:04
  too
• 25:05
  and
• 25:05
  you
• 25:05
  get
• 25:05
  to
• 25:05
  see
• 25:05
  him
• 25:06
  be
• 25:07
  part
• 25:07
  of
• 25:07
  the
• 25:07
  friend
• 25:07
  group.
• 25:08
  And
• 25:08
  then
• 25:08
  same
• 25:08
  with
• 25:08
  of
• 25:08
  course
• 25:09
  Helga
• 25:09
  being
• 25:09
  the
• 25:09
  biggest
• 25:10
  one
• 25:10
  of
• 25:10
  like
• 25:11
  and
• 25:12
  where,
• 25:13
  you
• 25:13
  know,
• 25:13
  she,
• 25:14
  it's
• 25:15
  like
• 25:15
  kind
• 25:15
  of
• 25:15
  a
• 25:15
  joke
• 25:16
  throughout
• 25:16
  the
• 25:16
  series
• 25:16
  of,
• 25:17
  oh,
• 25:17
  she's
• 25:17
  actually
• 25:17
  in
• 25:18
  love
• 25:18
  with
• 25:18
  Arnold,
• 25:18
  but
• 25:19
  she
• 25:19
  bullies
• 25:20
  him
• 25:20
  and
• 25:20
  makes
• 25:21
  fun
• 25:21
  of
• 25:21
  him
• 25:21
  to
• 25:22
  hide
• 25:22
  that
• 25:22
  fact
• 25:23
  because
• 25:23
  she
• 25:23
  doesn't
• 25:23
  want
• 25:23
  it
• 25:23
  out
• 25:23
  there.
• 25:24
  But
• 25:24
  then
• 25:24
  later
• 25:25
  on
• 25:25
  they
• 25:25
  do
• 25:25
  like
• 25:26
  a
• 25:26
  full
• 25:26
  on
• 25:26
  therapy
• 25:27
  episode
• 25:27
  with
• 25:27
  her,
• 25:28
  which
• 25:28
  is
• 25:28
  like
• 25:29
  revolutionary
• 25:30
  for
• 25:30
  the
• 25:31
  90s
• 25:31
  and
• 25:32
  a
• 25:32
  kid
• 25:32
  show.
• 25:33
  It's
• 25:33
  amazing
• 25:34
  how
• 25:34
  much
• 25:35
  they
• 25:35
  explored
• 25:36
  those
• 25:36
  issues
• 25:36
  really
• 25:37
  bravely
• 25:37
  and
• 25:38
  weren't
• 25:38
  afraid
• 25:38
  to
• 25:38
  tackle
• 25:39
  that.
• 25:40
  Like
• 25:40
  you
• 25:40
  said,
• 25:41
  in
• 25:41
  an
• 25:41
  era
• 25:42
  that
• 25:42
  was
• 25:43
  not
• 25:43
  there
• 25:44
  was
• 25:44
  still
• 25:44
  heavy
• 25:44
  stigmas
• 25:45
  about
• 25:45
  mental
• 25:45
  health
• 25:46
  and
• 25:46
  about
• 25:46
  therapy
• 25:47
  and
• 25:47
  you
• 25:47
  know,
• 25:48
  a
• 25:48
  lot
• 25:48
  of
• 25:48
  the
• 25:48
  cartoons
• 25:49
  at
• 25:49
  the
• 25:49
  time
• 25:50
  again
• 25:50
  just
• 25:50
  viewed
• 25:51
  kind
• 25:51
  of
• 25:51
  kids
• 25:52
  through
• 25:52
  a
• 25:52
  one
• 25:52
  dimensional
• 25:53
  lens
• 25:53
  and
• 25:53
  just
• 25:53
  had
• 25:54
  zany
• 25:54
  adventures
• 25:54
  and
• 25:55
  stuff
• 25:55
  without
• 25:55
  really
• 25:56
  tapping
• 25:56
  into
• 25:56
  the
• 25:56
  emotional
• 25:57
  complexities
• 25:58
  that
• 25:58
  I
• 25:58
  think
• 25:58
  many
• 25:59
  of
• 25:59
  us
• 25:59
  were
• 25:59
  feeling.
• 25:59
  At
• 26:00
  the
• 26:00
  time,
• 26:01
  they
• 26:01
  even
• 26:02
  tackled
• 26:02
  Helga's
• 26:03
  big
• 26:03
  sister
• 26:04
  complex
• 26:04
  and
• 26:04
  how,
• 26:05
  like,
• 26:05
  her
• 26:05
  older
• 26:05
  sister
• 26:06
  was
• 26:06
  the
• 26:07
  golden
• 26:07
  child
• 26:08
  and
• 26:08
  how.
• 26:09
  You
• 26:09
  can't
• 26:09
  tell
• 26:09
  me
• 26:10
  Helga's
• 26:10
  mom
• 26:10
  wasn't
• 26:10
  high
• 26:11
  all
• 26:11
  the
• 26:11
  time.
• 26:12
  Oh,
• 26:12
  100.
• 26:13
  They
• 26:13
  like
• 26:13
  that
• 26:14
  video.
• 26:14
  I
• 26:14
  say,
• 26:14
  I
• 26:14
  brought
• 26:14
  up,
• 26:15
  like,
• 26:15
  it
• 26:15
  said,
• 26:15
  like,
• 26:15
  she
• 26:16
  was
• 26:16
  very
• 26:16
  alcoholic.
• 26:17
  They
• 26:17
  were
• 26:17
  like.
• 26:17
  I
• 26:18
  mean,
• 26:18
  there
• 26:18
  is,
• 26:18
  like,
• 26:20
  there
• 26:20
  was.
• 26:20
  Yeah,
• 26:21
  I
• 26:21
  definitely
• 26:22
  a
• 26:22
  sense
• 26:22
  of
• 26:22
  ignorance
• 26:23
  there.
• 26:23
  And.
• 26:24
  Yeah,
• 26:25
  no,
• 26:25
  she
• 26:25
  felt
• 26:25
  very
• 26:25
  excluded
• 26:26
  from
• 26:26
  her
• 26:26
  family
• 26:27
  and
• 26:27
  has
• 26:27
  all
• 26:27
  these
• 26:28
  mechanisms
• 26:28
  as
• 26:29
  a
• 26:29
  result.
• 26:30
  So,
• 26:30
  yeah,
• 26:30
  so,
• 26:30
  I
• 26:30
  mean,
• 26:31
  you
• 26:31
  can
• 26:31
  obviously
• 26:31
  see
• 26:31
  where
• 26:32
  a
• 26:32
  lot
• 26:32
  of
• 26:32
  her
• 26:32
  anger
• 26:33
  comes
• 26:33
  from
• 26:33
  just
• 26:34
  by
• 26:34
  looking
• 26:34
  at
• 26:34
  her
• 26:35
  family
• 26:35
  dynamic.
• 26:35
  So
• 26:36
  her
• 26:36
  dad
• 26:36
  didn't
• 26:36
  really
• 26:36
  show
• 26:37
  love
• 26:38
  because
• 26:38
  he
• 26:38
  was
• 26:38
  that
• 26:38
  macho
• 26:39
  guy,
• 26:39
  and
• 26:39
  her
• 26:39
  mom
• 26:40
  was
• 26:40
  portrayed,
• 26:41
  but
• 26:41
  we
• 26:41
  didn't
• 26:41
  know
• 26:41
  it.
• 26:42
  Now
• 26:42
  as
• 26:43
  kids
• 26:43
  were
• 26:43
  like,
• 26:43
  oh,
• 26:44
  she's
• 26:44
  tired.
• 26:44
  Or
• 26:44
  that's
• 26:45
  just
• 26:45
  how
• 26:45
  she
• 26:45
  is.
• 26:46
  But
• 26:46
  as
• 26:46
  adults,
• 26:46
  we
• 26:46
  can
• 26:47
  be
• 26:47
  like,
• 26:47
  oh,
• 26:47
  she
• 26:48
  was
• 26:48
  definitely
• 26:48
  higher
• 26:49
  on
• 26:49
  something.
• 26:49
  Or
• 26:50
  you
• 26:50
  could
• 26:50
  tell
• 26:50
  she
• 26:50
  was
• 26:50
  dealing
• 26:51
  with
• 26:51
  some
• 26:51
  kind
• 26:51
  of
• 26:51
  depression
• 26:52
  because,
• 26:52
  like,
• 26:52
  a
• 26:52
  normal
• 26:52
  person
• 26:53
  really
• 26:53
  doesn't.
• 26:53
  Well,
• 26:54
  I
• 26:54
  wouldn't
• 26:54
  say
• 26:54
  normal.
• 26:55
  That's
• 26:55
  not
• 26:55
  the
• 26:55
  correct
• 26:56
  word,
• 26:56
  but
• 26:56
  you
• 26:56
  know
• 26:56
  what
• 26:56
  I
• 26:56
  mean?
• 26:56
  Like,
• 26:57
  but
• 26:57
  usually,
• 26:57
  like,
• 26:58
  signs,
• 26:59
  you
• 26:59
  know,
• 26:59
  I
• 26:59
  mean,
• 26:59
  not
• 26:59
  saying,
• 27:00
  like,
• 27:00
  you
• 27:00
  know,
• 27:00
  a
• 27:00
  normal
• 27:00
  person
• 27:01
  has
• 27:01
  to
• 27:01
  be
• 27:01
  upbeat
• 27:01
  and
• 27:02
  peppy.
• 27:02
  You
• 27:02
  can
• 27:02
  be,
• 27:03
  you
• 27:03
  know,
• 27:03
  very
• 27:03
  melatone,
• 27:04
  and
• 27:04
  that's
• 27:04
  your
• 27:05
  personality.
• 27:05
  But
• 27:06
  she
• 27:06
  was
• 27:06
  portrayed
• 27:07
  to
• 27:07
  have
• 27:07
  some
• 27:08
  kind
• 27:08
  of,
• 27:08
  like,
• 27:09
  extra
• 27:09
  help
• 27:09
  to
• 27:09
  get
• 27:10
  through
• 27:10
  the
• 27:10
  day
• 27:10
  is
• 27:11
  right.
• 27:11
  They
• 27:12
  weren't
• 27:12
  at
• 27:12
  all
• 27:13
  afraid
• 27:13
  to,
• 27:13
  like,
• 27:14
  show
• 27:14
  that
• 27:14
  they
• 27:14
  were
• 27:15
  not
• 27:15
  hiding
• 27:15
  it.
• 27:16
  And.
• 27:16
  Yeah,
• 27:16
  I
• 27:17
  mean,
• 27:17
  I
• 27:17
  just
• 27:17
  think.
• 27:17
  And,
• 27:18
  like,
• 27:18
  it's.
• 27:19
  Again,
• 27:20
  I
• 27:20
  don't
• 27:20
  know
• 27:20
  how
• 27:20
  cognizant
• 27:21
  I
• 27:21
  was
• 27:21
  of
• 27:21
  these
• 27:22
  things
• 27:22
  as
• 27:22
  a
• 27:22
  kid,
• 27:23
  but
• 27:24
  I.
• 27:24
  It's.
• 27:25
  I
• 27:25
  think
• 27:25
  what
• 27:25
  made
• 27:26
  me
• 27:26
  fall
• 27:26
  in
• 27:26
  love
• 27:26
  with
• 27:26
  the
• 27:26
  show
• 27:27
  so
• 27:27
  much
• 27:27
  was
• 27:27
  the
• 27:28
  character
• 27:28
  complexities
• 27:29
  and,
• 27:29
  you
• 27:30
  know,
• 27:31
  not
• 27:31
  being
• 27:32
  afraid
• 27:32
  to
• 27:32
  show
• 27:32
  characters
• 27:33
  through
• 27:33
  different
• 27:33
  lenses
• 27:34
  and,
• 27:34
  you
• 27:34
  know,
• 27:34
  showing
• 27:35
  that
• 27:35
  everyone
• 27:35
  has
• 27:35
  their
• 27:36
  own
• 27:36
  issues.
• 27:36
  And.
• 27:37
  Yeah,
• 27:38
  I
• 27:38
  don't
• 27:38
  like
• 27:38
  what
• 27:39
  you
• 27:39
  mentioned,
• 27:39
  like,
• 27:39
  some
• 27:40
  of
• 27:40
  your
• 27:40
  family
• 27:40
  as,
• 27:40
  like,
• 27:41
  was
• 27:41
  there
• 27:41
  else
• 27:41
  is
• 27:42
  other
• 27:42
  aspects
• 27:43
  you
• 27:43
  can
• 27:43
  think
• 27:43
  of
• 27:43
  of
• 27:44
  just,
• 27:44
  like,
• 27:44
  being
• 27:45
  a
• 27:45
  child
• 27:45
  at
• 27:45
  that
• 27:45
  time
• 27:46
  where
• 27:46
  this
• 27:47
  show
• 27:47
  really
• 27:47
  resonated
• 27:48
  with
• 27:48
  you.
• 27:48
  Or
• 27:48
  like
• 27:49
  you
• 27:49
  said,
• 27:49
  like,
• 27:49
  Phoebe
• 27:50
  was
• 27:50
  one
• 27:50
  of
• 27:50
  your
• 27:50
  favorite
• 27:50
  characters.
• 27:51
  If
• 27:51
  I
• 27:52
  favorite.
• 27:52
  Yeah,
• 27:53
  I
• 27:53
  mean,
• 27:53
  I
• 27:53
  would
• 27:53
  say
• 27:54
  it
• 27:54
  kind
• 27:54
  of
• 27:55
  resonated
• 27:55
  with
• 27:55
  me.
• 27:56
  Just.
• 27:56
  I
• 27:56
  remember
• 27:57
  my
• 27:57
  older
• 27:57
  sister
• 27:58
  enjoyed
• 27:58
  watching
• 27:58
  it
• 27:59
  too,
• 27:59
  so
• 27:59
  that
• 27:59
  was
• 27:59
  one
• 28:00
  of
• 28:00
  the
• 28:00
  few
• 28:00
  things,
• 28:00
  like,
• 28:01
  we
• 28:01
  would
• 28:01
  watch
• 28:01
  together.
• 28:02
  She's
• 28:03
  three
• 28:03
  years
• 28:03
  older
• 28:04
  than
• 28:04
  me,
• 28:04
  so
• 28:04
  I
• 28:04
  feel
• 28:04
  like
• 28:05
  that's
• 28:05
  more
• 28:05
  than
• 28:06
  why
• 28:06
  this
• 28:06
  show
• 28:07
  kind
• 28:07
  of
• 28:07
  stuck
• 28:07
  out
• 28:08
  more
• 28:08
  than
• 28:09
  the
• 28:09
  other
• 28:10
  shows
• 28:10
  because
• 28:10
  she.
• 28:11
  She
• 28:11
  loved
• 28:11
  hey
• 28:11
  Arnold.
• 28:12
  That
• 28:12
  was
• 28:12
  her
• 28:12
  favorite
• 28:13
  One
• 28:13
  and
• 28:13
  I
• 28:14
  don't
• 28:14
  remember
• 28:14
  it
• 28:14
  being
• 28:15
  my
• 28:15
  favorite
• 28:15
  one.
• 28:15
  I
• 28:16
  had
• 28:16
  something
• 28:16
  else
• 28:16
  but
• 28:16
  I
• 28:17
  can't
• 28:17
  remember
• 28:17
  what
• 28:18
  it
• 28:18
  is.
• 28:18
  So
• 28:18
  I
• 28:18
  can't
• 28:19
  say
• 28:19
  this
• 28:19
  was.
• 28:20
  It
• 28:20
  was
• 28:20
  definitely
• 28:20
  up
• 28:21
  there.
• 28:22
  But
• 28:22
  I
• 28:22
  remember
• 28:22
  because
• 28:23
  growing
• 28:23
  up
• 28:24
  you
• 28:24
  couldn't
• 28:24
  have
• 28:24
  the
• 28:24
  same
• 28:25
  favorite.
• 28:25
  Like
• 28:26
  so
• 28:26
  it
• 28:26
  could
• 28:26
  have
• 28:27
  been
• 28:27
  my
• 28:27
  favorite
• 28:27
  but
• 28:27
  like
• 28:27
  you
• 28:27
  know,
• 28:28
  like
• 28:28
  if
• 28:28
  she
• 28:28
  chose
• 28:29
  blue,
• 28:29
  I
• 28:29
  had
• 28:29
  to
• 28:30
  choose
• 28:30
  another
• 28:30
  color
• 28:30
  because
• 28:31
  that
• 28:31
  was
• 28:31
  her
• 28:31
  color.
• 28:31
  So
• 28:31
  if
• 28:32
  she
• 28:32
  chose
• 28:32
  hey
• 28:32
  Arnold.
• 28:33
  That
• 28:33
  means
• 28:33
  I
• 28:33
  have
• 28:33
  to
• 28:33
  choose
• 28:34
  something
• 28:34
  else
• 28:34
  which
• 28:35
  you
• 28:35
  know,
• 28:35
  just
• 28:35
  silly
• 28:36
  sister
• 28:36
  like
• 28:36
  stuff
• 28:36
  childish
• 28:37
  things.
• 28:37
  So
• 28:38
  I
• 28:38
  just
• 28:38
  remember
• 28:38
  hey
• 28:39
  Arnold
• 28:39
  was
• 28:39
  her
• 28:39
  favorite
• 28:40
  and
• 28:40
  it
• 28:40
  couldn't
• 28:40
  be
• 28:41
  my
• 28:41
  favorite.
• 28:42
  But
• 28:43
  I
• 28:43
  just.
• 28:44
  Yeah.
• 28:44
  And
• 28:45
  I
• 28:45
  being.
• 28:46
  I
• 28:46
  didn't
• 28:46
  even
• 28:46
  like
• 28:47
  think
• 28:47
  about
• 28:47
  at
• 28:48
  that
• 28:48
  time
• 28:48
  it
• 28:48
  being
• 28:49
  in
• 28:49
  like
• 28:49
  an
• 28:49
  urban
• 28:50
  setting
• 28:50
  with
• 28:50
  the
• 28:50
  bus
• 28:51
  system.
• 28:51
  But
• 28:52
  now
• 28:52
  I'm
• 28:53
  like
• 28:53
  kids
• 28:54
  if
• 28:54
  I
• 28:55
  think
• 28:55
  they
• 28:55
  were
• 28:55
  in
• 28:55
  fourth
• 28:55
  grade
• 28:56
  and
• 28:56
  so
• 28:56
  just
• 28:57
  kind
• 28:57
  of
• 28:57
  like
• 28:57
  thinking
• 28:57
  of.
• 28:58
  I'm
• 28:58
  like
• 28:58
  from
• 28:58
  you.
• 28:59
  I'm
• 28:59
  from
• 28:59
  South
• 29:00
  Carolina.
• 29:00
  So
• 29:00
  the
• 29:00
  thought
• 29:01
  of
• 29:01
  jumping
• 29:01
  on
• 29:01
  a
• 29:01
  bus
• 29:02
  and
• 29:02
  going
• 29:02
  to
• 29:02
  a
• 29:02
  store
• 29:03
  or
• 29:03
  doing
• 29:03
  this
• 29:03
  or
• 29:04
  something
• 29:04
  like
• 29:04
  that,
• 29:04
  it
• 29:04
  just
• 29:04
  seemed
• 29:05
  kind
• 29:05
  of
• 29:05
  magical
• 29:06
  and
• 29:06
  so
• 29:06
  independent.
• 29:07
  But
• 29:08
  if
• 29:08
  you
• 29:08
  actually
• 29:08
  go
• 29:09
  to
• 29:09
  New
• 29:09
  York
• 29:09
  City,
• 29:10
  a
• 29:10
  fourth
• 29:10
  grader
• 29:11
  like
• 29:11
  jumping
• 29:12
  on
• 29:12
  the.
• 29:12
  But
• 29:12
  you
• 29:12
  know,
• 29:12
  I
• 29:12
  mean
• 29:13
  it's
• 29:13
  not
• 29:13
  that
• 29:14
  far
• 29:14
  fetched
• 29:15
  nowadays.
• 29:15
  Like
• 29:15
  they
• 29:15
  wouldn't
• 29:16
  be
• 29:16
  going
• 29:16
  raising
• 29:17
  crazy.
• 29:18
  Like
• 29:18
  I
• 29:18
  think
• 29:19
  hey
• 29:19
  Arnold.
• 29:19
  It
• 29:20
  feels
• 29:20
  more
• 29:20
  middle
• 29:21
  school
• 29:21
  than
• 29:22
  elementary
• 29:22
  school
• 29:22
  because
• 29:23
  yeah,
• 29:23
  I
• 29:23
  would
• 29:23
  agree
• 29:23
  with
• 29:23
  that.
• 29:24
  Yeah.
• 29:24
  Yeah.
• 29:24
  So.
• 29:25
  But
• 29:25
  so
• 29:26
  kind
• 29:26
  of
• 29:26
  going
• 29:26
  from
• 29:27
  that
• 29:27
  lens,
• 29:28
  a
• 29:28
  middle
• 29:29
  schooler
• 29:29
  jumping
• 29:30
  on
• 29:30
  the
• 29:30
  bus
• 29:30
  is
• 29:31
  not
• 29:31
  a
• 29:31
  big
• 29:31
  deal
• 29:31
  at
• 29:31
  all.
• 29:32
  Right,
• 29:32
  right.
• 29:33
  I
• 29:33
  know
• 29:33
  I
• 29:34
  did
• 29:34
  that
• 29:34
  on
• 29:34
  that
• 29:34
  and
• 29:35
  but
• 29:35
  yeah,
• 29:35
  I
• 29:36
  agree
• 29:36
  that
• 29:36
  I,
• 29:37
  I
• 29:37
  think
• 29:37
  for
• 29:37
  me
• 29:38
  it
• 29:38
  was
• 29:38
  that
• 29:38
  kind
• 29:39
  I.
• 29:39
  Why
• 29:39
  it's
• 29:40
  seen
• 29:40
  more
• 29:40
  fantastical
• 29:41
  because
• 29:41
  yeah
• 29:42
  being
• 29:42
  from
• 29:42
  North
• 29:42
  Carolina
• 29:43
  but
• 29:43
  also
• 29:43
  like
• 29:44
  being
• 29:44
  disabled
• 29:45
  and
• 29:45
  I
• 29:45
  always
• 29:45
  had
• 29:45
  to
• 29:45
  have
• 29:46
  like
• 29:46
  my
• 29:46
  parents
• 29:46
  are
• 29:47
  in
• 29:47
  a
• 29:47
  with
• 29:47
  me
• 29:47
  when
• 29:48
  I
• 29:48
  was
• 29:48
  in
• 29:48
  school
• 29:49
  and
• 29:49
  so
• 29:49
  I
• 29:49
  didn't
• 29:49
  like
• 29:50
  this
• 29:50
  idea
• 29:50
  of
• 29:51
  them
• 29:51
  just
• 29:51
  like,
• 29:51
  oh
• 29:52
  these
• 29:52
  kids
• 29:52
  just
• 29:52
  running
• 29:53
  around
• 29:53
  like
• 29:53
  all
• 29:54
  town
• 29:54
  like
• 29:54
  by
• 29:55
  themselves
• 29:55
  going
• 29:56
  on
• 29:56
  adventures
• 29:56
  and
• 29:56
  stuff
• 29:56
  like
• 29:56
  that.
• 29:57
  Not
• 29:57
  that
• 29:57
  I
• 29:57
  didn't
• 29:57
  have
• 29:58
  a
• 29:58
  social
• 29:58
  life
• 29:58
  or
• 29:58
  anything.
• 29:58
  I
• 29:59
  had
• 29:59
  friends
• 29:59
  and
• 30:00
  all
• 30:00
  that
• 30:00
  but
• 30:00
  it
• 30:00
  was
• 30:00
  a
• 30:00
  different
• 30:00
  dynamic
• 30:01
  and
• 30:01
  I
• 30:01
  always
• 30:01
  had
• 30:02
  like
• 30:02
  help
• 30:02
  with
• 30:02
  me
• 30:03
  and
• 30:03
  all
• 30:03
  of
• 30:03
  that.
• 30:03
  So
• 30:04
  this
• 30:04
  was
• 30:04
  this
• 30:04
  kind
• 30:05
  of
• 30:05
  like
• 30:05
  cool
• 30:05
  like
• 30:06
  escape
• 30:07
  Mr.
• 30:07
  Me
• 30:08
  wondering
• 30:08
  what
• 30:08
  it'd
• 30:08
  be
• 30:08
  like
• 30:09
  to
• 30:09
  kind
• 30:09
  of
• 30:09
  go
• 30:09
  around
• 30:10
  in
• 30:10
  this
• 30:10
  world
• 30:10
  and
• 30:10
  like
• 30:11
  just
• 30:11
  be
• 30:11
  around
• 30:12
  with
• 30:12
  like
• 30:12
  friends
• 30:12
  all
• 30:13
  the
• 30:13
  time
• 30:13
  and
• 30:13
  going
• 30:13
  on
• 30:13
  adventures.
• 30:15
  So
• 30:15
  I
• 30:15
  think
• 30:15
  that
• 30:15
  was
• 30:16
  just
• 30:16
  like
• 30:16
  really
• 30:16
  striking
• 30:17
  to
• 30:17
  me
• 30:18
  as
• 30:18
  a
• 30:18
  kid
• 30:18
  at
• 30:18
  that
• 30:19
  time.
• 30:19
  It's,
• 30:20
  it's
• 30:20
  really
• 30:20
  great.
• 30:20
  I
• 30:21
  should
• 30:21
  probably.
• 30:21
  We
• 30:21
  should
• 30:21
  rewatch
• 30:22
  it
• 30:22
  just
• 30:22
  have
• 30:22
  like
• 30:23
  we
• 30:23
  should
• 30:23
  find
• 30:24
  a
• 30:24
  day
• 30:25
  and
• 30:25
  just
• 30:25
  have
• 30:26
  Systematic
• 30:26
  ecology
• 30:27
  watch
• 30:27
  party
• 30:28
  where
• 30:28
  people
• 30:28
  can
• 30:28
  just
• 30:28
  join
• 30:29
  in
• 30:29
  and
• 30:29
  we
• 30:30
  watch
• 30:30
  all
• 30:31
  of
• 30:31
  our
• 30:31
  favorite
• 30:31
  shows.
• 30:32
  I
• 30:32
  would
• 30:32
  be
• 30:32
  100
• 30:33
  after
• 30:33
  that.
• 30:34
  Like,
• 30:34
  I.
• 30:34
  I
• 30:34
  wish
• 30:34
  I
• 30:34
  was
• 30:35
  on
• 30:35
  Max.
• 30:35
  I
• 30:35
  think
• 30:36
  since
• 30:36
  Paramount,
• 30:37
  which.
• 30:38
  That's
• 30:38
  one
• 30:38
  of
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  streaming
• 30:39
  services
• 30:39
  I
• 30:39
  don't
• 30:39
  have,
• 30:39
  but
• 30:40
  they
• 30:40
  have
• 30:41
  all
• 30:41
  the
• 30:41
  Nickelodeon
• 30:42
  stuff
• 30:42
  on
• 30:42
  there.
• 30:42
  You
• 30:43
  know,
• 30:43
  I
• 30:43
  used
• 30:43
  to
• 30:43
  have
• 30:44
  Paramount.
• 30:44
  I
• 30:44
  bet
• 30:44
  you
• 30:45
  that
• 30:45
  would.
• 30:45
  I
• 30:45
  couldn't
• 30:45
  remember
• 30:46
  which
• 30:46
  streaming
• 30:47
  service,
• 30:47
  but
• 30:47
  I
• 30:47
  did
• 30:47
  have
• 30:48
  Paramount
• 30:48
  for
• 30:48
  like
• 30:48
  a
• 30:49
  minute.
• 30:49
  So
• 30:50
  that's
• 30:50
  where
• 30:50
  I
• 30:50
  saw
• 30:50
  it
• 30:50
  from.
• 30:51
  Okay.
• 30:51
  It's
• 30:51
  weird
• 30:52
  because
• 30:52
  like
• 30:52
  last
• 30:53
  year,
• 30:53
  Vendor
• 30:53
  and
• 30:53
  Cora
• 30:54
  are
• 30:54
  on
• 30:54
  Netflix
• 30:54
  and
• 30:55
  obviously
• 30:55
  those
• 30:55
  were
• 30:55
  Nickelodeon
• 30:56
  properties.
• 30:56
  But.
• 30:57
  But
• 30:58
  yeah,
• 30:58
  they
• 30:58
  have.
• 30:59
  Paramount
• 31:00
  owns
• 31:00
  the
• 31:00
  majority
• 31:00
  of
• 31:00
  Nickelodeon
• 31:01
  stuff,
• 31:01
  so
• 31:01
  that's
• 31:02
  probably
• 31:02
  where
• 31:02
  it
• 31:02
  is.
• 31:02
  But
• 31:03
  yeah,
• 31:03
  I
• 31:03
  have
• 31:04
  too
• 31:04
  many
• 31:04
  streaming
• 31:04
  services
• 31:05
  right
• 31:05
  now,
• 31:05
  so
• 31:05
  I
• 31:05
  can't
• 31:05
  really
• 31:05
  afford
• 31:06
  another.
• 31:06
  That's
• 31:07
  how
• 31:07
  I
• 31:07
  feel.
• 31:07
  With
• 31:07
  Hulu.
• 31:08
  I
• 31:08
  used
• 31:09
  to
• 31:09
  have
• 31:09
  Paramount,
• 31:09
  but
• 31:10
  I'm
• 31:10
  pretty
• 31:10
  sure
• 31:10
  Paramount.
• 31:11
  Remind
• 31:11
  me.
• 31:11
  Oh,
• 31:12
  no,
• 31:12
  maybe
• 31:12
  it
• 31:12
  was
• 31:12
  Peacock.
• 31:13
  I
• 31:13
  don't
• 31:14
  know.
• 31:15
  Yeah,
• 31:15
  yeah,
• 31:16
  I
• 31:16
  can't
• 31:17
  remember,
• 31:17
  but
• 31:17
  there's
• 31:17
  so
• 31:17
  many
• 31:18
  at
• 31:18
  this
• 31:18
  point,
• 31:18
  I
• 31:18
  might
• 31:18
  as
• 31:18
  well
• 31:19
  pay
• 31:19
  for
• 31:19
  cable.
• 31:19
  It
• 31:20
  is.
• 31:20
  It's
• 31:20
  a
• 31:20
  12th.
• 31:21
  Oh,
• 31:21
  we
• 31:21
  could.
• 31:21
  Oh,
• 31:22
  that
• 31:22
  could
• 31:22
  be
• 31:22
  another
• 31:23
  episode
• 31:23
  too.
• 31:23
  Just
• 31:24
  looking
• 31:24
  at
• 31:24
  the
• 31:25
  evolution
• 31:25
  of
• 31:25
  TV
• 31:26
  and
• 31:26
  how
• 31:26
  we
• 31:26
  consume
• 31:27
  it
• 31:27
  and.
• 31:27
  And
• 31:28
  it's
• 31:28
  like
• 31:28
  reverting
• 31:29
  back
• 31:29
  to
• 31:29
  what
• 31:30
  streaming
• 31:30
  was
• 31:30
  supposed
• 31:31
  to
• 31:31
  get
• 31:31
  away
• 31:31
  from.
• 31:31
  But.
• 31:32
  But
• 31:32
  anyway,
• 31:33
  yeah,
• 31:34
  these
• 31:34
  are
• 31:34
  the
• 31:34
  good
• 31:34
  old
• 31:34
  days
• 31:35
  when
• 31:35
  we
• 31:35
  regret.
• 31:35
  When
• 31:36
  you
• 31:36
  had
• 31:37
  to
• 31:37
  watch
• 31:37
  commercials.
• 31:37
  When
• 31:38
  we
• 31:38
  watched
• 31:38
  commercials,
• 31:39
  kids,
• 31:40
  there
• 31:40
  was
• 31:40
  a
• 31:40
  time
• 31:41
  where
• 31:41
  you
• 31:41
  could
• 31:41
  not
• 31:41
  just
• 31:42
  skip
• 31:42
  past
• 31:42
  everything
• 31:43
  and
• 31:43
  yeah,
• 31:44
  yeah,
• 31:44
  no,
• 31:44
  we
• 31:45
  like.
• 31:45
  But
• 31:45
  yeah,
• 31:46
  I.
• 31:46
  Oh,
• 31:46
  like
• 31:46
  I
• 31:47
  said,
• 31:47
  I
• 31:47
  would
• 31:47
  come
• 31:47
  home,
• 31:48
  popcorn
• 31:49
  and
• 31:49
  yeah,
• 31:50
  would
• 31:50
  watch
• 31:50
  like
• 31:51
  this
• 31:51
  and
• 31:51
  many
• 31:51
  other
• 31:51
  shows.
• 31:52
  But
• 31:52
  yes,
• 31:52
  you
• 31:53
  would
• 31:53
  have
• 31:53
  to
• 31:53
  watch
• 31:53
  their
• 31:53
  commercials
• 31:54
  and
• 31:55
  oh,
• 31:55
  you
• 31:55
  know
• 31:55
  what's
• 31:55
  right
• 31:56
  too.
• 31:56
  Like,
• 31:56
  while
• 31:56
  we're
• 31:56
  on
• 31:56
  this
• 31:57
  topic
• 31:57
  of
• 31:57
  just
• 31:58
  like
• 31:58
  Nickelodeon
• 31:59
  era
• 31:59
  there.
• 32:00
  So
• 32:00
  my
• 32:01
  niece
• 32:01
  was
• 32:01
  the
• 32:02
  other
• 32:02
  day
• 32:02
  watching
• 32:02
  this
• 32:03
  show
• 32:03
  on
• 32:03
  Netflix
• 32:03
  called.
• 32:04
  I
• 32:04
  remember
• 32:05
  what
• 32:05
  it,
• 32:05
  like
• 32:06
  what
• 32:06
  the
• 32:06
  title
• 32:06
  was,
• 32:07
  but
• 32:07
  it
• 32:07
  was
• 32:08
  100%
• 32:08
  a
• 32:08
  slime
• 32:09
  time
• 32:09
  ripoff.
• 32:10
  Like,
• 32:10
  like,
• 32:11
  it
• 32:11
  was
• 32:11
  just
• 32:11
  like
• 32:11
  there.
• 32:12
  It's
• 32:12
  literally
• 32:12
  like
• 32:13
  a
• 32:13
  game
• 32:14
  show
• 32:14
  where
• 32:15
  Lava.
• 32:16
  Yes,
• 32:17
  that's
• 32:17
  the
• 32:17
  one.
• 32:18
  Yes.
• 32:18
  I
• 32:19
  was
• 32:19
  like.
• 32:19
  And
• 32:19
  I
• 32:19
  was
• 32:20
  telling
• 32:20
  her,
• 32:20
  I
• 32:20
  was
• 32:20
  like,
• 32:21
  yeah,
• 32:21
  there
• 32:21
  was
• 32:21
  a
• 32:21
  show
• 32:22
  called
• 32:22
  Slime
• 32:22
  Time
• 32:22
  when
• 32:23
  I
• 32:23
  was
• 32:23
  a
• 32:23
  kid
• 32:23
  that's
• 32:23
  like
• 32:24
  very
• 32:24
  reminiscent
• 32:24
  of
• 32:24
  this.
• 32:25
  And
• 32:26
  she.
• 32:26
  Then
• 32:26
  she
• 32:26
  wanted
• 32:27
  to
• 32:27
  watch
• 32:27
  it
• 32:27
  and
• 32:27
  I
• 32:27
  was
• 32:28
  like,
• 32:28
  I
• 32:28
  don't
• 32:28
  know
• 32:28
  where
• 32:28
  it
• 32:29
  is
• 32:29
  right
• 32:29
  now,
• 32:29
  if
• 32:29
  it's
• 32:29
  streaming
• 32:30
  anywhere.
• 32:30
  But.
• 32:31
  But
• 32:31
  that's
• 32:32
  the
• 32:32
  other
• 32:32
  thing
• 32:32
  is
• 32:32
  they
• 32:32
  think
• 32:33
  that
• 32:33
  like
• 32:33
  every
• 32:34
  show
• 32:34
  and
• 32:34
  TV
• 32:34
  is
• 32:35
  instantly
• 32:35
  on
• 32:35
  demand,
• 32:36
  no
• 32:36
  matter
• 32:37
  from
• 32:37
  what
• 32:37
  era.
• 32:37
  It's
• 32:38
  on.
• 32:38
  I'm
• 32:38
  like,
• 32:38
  not
• 32:38
  everything
• 32:39
  is
• 32:39
  on
• 32:39
  Netflix
• 32:40
  and
• 32:40
  Disney
• 32:40
  plus.
• 32:40
  I'm
• 32:41
  sorry.
• 32:41
  But.
• 32:42
  But.
• 32:42
  Yeah,
• 32:42
  but.
• 32:43
  But
• 32:43
  anyway,
• 32:44
  back
• 32:44
  to.
• 32:44
  Hey,
• 32:44
  Arnold.
• 32:45
  Yeah,
• 32:46
  I.
• 32:46
  I
• 32:46
  just.
• 32:47
  It
• 32:47
  really
• 32:47
  was
• 32:48
  so
• 32:48
  ahead
• 32:48
  of
• 32:48
  its
• 32:48
  time
• 32:50
  trying
• 32:50
  to
• 32:50
  think
• 32:51
  of
• 32:51
  some
• 32:51
  other.
• 32:51
  Right.
• 32:52
  Oh,
• 32:52
  and
• 32:52
  there
• 32:52
  was.
• 32:52
  Oh,
• 32:53
  this
• 32:53
  was
• 32:53
  another
• 32:53
  one
• 32:54
  brought
• 32:54
  up
• 32:54
  earlier.
• 32:55
  Like,
• 32:55
  there
• 32:55
  was
• 32:56
  entire.
• 32:57
  Just
• 32:57
  looking
• 32:58
  at
• 32:58
  how
• 32:58
  intense
• 32:59
  summer
• 32:59
  heat
• 33:00
  impacted
• 33:00
  this
• 33:01
  community.
• 33:01
  And
• 33:01
  it
• 33:01
  was
• 33:02
  like.
• 33:02
  And
• 33:02
  then
• 33:02
  another
• 33:02
  one
• 33:03
  where
• 33:03
  snow
• 33:03
  did
• 33:03
  that.
• 33:04
  And
• 33:04
  I
• 33:04
  was
• 33:04
  like,
• 33:04
  it
• 33:05
  was
• 33:05
  amazing
• 33:05
  how
• 33:05
  they
• 33:05
  would
• 33:05
  have
• 33:06
  these
• 33:06
  just,
• 33:06
  like,
• 33:07
  seemingly
• 33:08
  simple
• 33:08
  ideas
• 33:09
  be
• 33:10
  the
• 33:10
  premise
• 33:10
  for
• 33:10
  an
• 33:10
  entire
• 33:11
  episode
• 33:11
  and
• 33:12
  use
• 33:12
  that
• 33:12
  as
• 33:13
  a
• 33:13
  mechanism
• 33:13
  to
• 33:13
  explore
• 33:14
  the
• 33:15
  environment,
• 33:15
  the
• 33:15
  characters,
• 33:16
  the
• 33:16
  world
• 33:17
  that
• 33:17
  they
• 33:17
  inhabit.
• 33:18
  Because,
• 33:19
  yeah,
• 33:19
  Heat.
• 33:19
  I
• 33:19
  remember
• 33:20
  really
• 33:20
  vividly.
• 33:20
  Like,
• 33:21
  they're
• 33:21
  all
• 33:21
  just,
• 33:21
  like.
• 33:22
  Just
• 33:22
  like,
• 33:23
  in
• 33:23
  their
• 33:23
  building.
• 33:23
  It's
• 33:23
  like
• 33:24
  they
• 33:24
  can't
• 33:24
  get
• 33:24
  a
• 33:25
  break.
• 33:25
  They're
• 33:25
  all
• 33:26
  sweating
• 33:26
  profusely
• 33:27
  and
• 33:28
  just
• 33:28
  navigating.
• 33:29
  Did
• 33:30
  the
• 33:30
  egg
• 33:30
  on
• 33:30
  the
• 33:30
  sidewalk
• 33:31
  and
• 33:31
  we
• 33:31
  saw
• 33:32
  the
• 33:32
  egg
• 33:32
  fry.
• 33:35
  It
• 33:35
  was
• 33:35
  brilliant.
• 33:35
  So
• 33:36
  I.
• 33:36
  Yeah,
• 33:36
  it
• 33:36
  was
• 33:37
  a
• 33:37
  great
• 33:37
  show.
• 33:38
  Is
• 33:38
  there
• 33:39
  anything
• 33:39
  else
• 33:39
  you
• 33:39
  want
• 33:39
  to
• 33:40
  say
• 33:40
  either
• 33:40
  about
• 33:42
  favorite
• 33:42
  characters
• 33:43
  or
• 33:43
  moments?
• 33:43
  I
• 33:43
  mean,
• 33:44
  again,
• 33:44
  I
• 33:44
  do
• 33:44
  need
• 33:45
  to
• 33:45
  do
• 33:45
  a
• 33:45
  rewatch,
• 33:46
  but
• 33:46
  it
• 33:46
  was
• 33:47
  fun
• 33:47
  looking
• 33:47
  back
• 33:47
  at
• 33:48
  it
• 33:48
  today
• 33:48
  and
• 33:48
  just
• 33:48
  realizing
• 33:49
  how
• 33:50
  ahead
• 33:50
  of
• 33:50
  its
• 33:50
  time
• 33:51
  it
• 33:51
  was
• 33:51
  and
• 33:51
  how
• 33:52
  complex
• 33:52
  and
• 33:52
  nuanced
• 33:53
  it
• 33:53
  was
• 33:53
  for
• 33:54
  a
• 33:54
  kid

  series.
• 33:55
  What
• 33:56
  was
• 33:56
  the
• 33:56
  girl's
• 33:57
  name?
• 33:58
  Is
• 33:58
  it
• 33:58
  Lila
• 33:59
  that
• 33:59
  came
• 33:59
  in
• 34:00
  that.
• 34:00
  Arnold
• 34:01
  started
• 34:01
  being
• 34:02
  a
• 34:02
  little
• 34:02
  fascinated
• 34:02
  with
• 34:03
  the
• 34:03
  cutesy
• 34:04
  little.
• 34:04
  The
• 34:04
  cutesy
• 34:05
  little
• 34:05
  girl
• 34:05
  and
• 34:06
  let
• 34:06
  me.
• 34:06
  Look
• 34:06
  it
• 34:06
  up,
• 34:07
  because
• 34:07
  I
• 34:07
  do
• 34:07
  remember
• 34:08
  the
• 34:08
  character.
• 34:08
  I
• 34:09
  just
• 34:09
  want
• 34:09
  to
• 34:09
  get
• 34:09
  the
• 34:09
  name
• 34:09
  right.
• 34:10
  Right,
• 34:10
  right.
• 34:11
  I
• 34:12
  hated
• 34:12
  her.
• 34:13
  Yeah,
• 34:13
  it
• 34:13
  is
• 34:13
  Lila.
• 34:14
  Yeah.
• 34:14
  Yeah.
• 34:14
  But.
• 34:14
  Yeah,
• 34:15
  I
• 34:15
  remember
• 34:15
  when
• 34:16
  she
• 34:16
  came
• 34:16
  in.
• 34:16
  And
• 34:17
  so.
• 34:17
  But
• 34:17
  even
• 34:17
  then,
• 34:17
  like,
• 34:18
  you're
• 34:18
  dealing
• 34:18
  with
• 34:18
  the
• 34:19
  feeling
• 34:20
  of
• 34:20
  jealousy
• 34:20
  and
• 34:20
  feeling
• 34:21
  of
• 34:21
  lesson
• 34:21
  that
• 34:22
  Helga
• 34:22
  had
• 34:22
  to,
• 34:23
  like,
• 34:23
  now,
• 34:24
  you
• 34:24
  know,
• 34:24
  see
• 34:24
  the.
• 34:25
  Who
• 34:26
  her
• 34:26
  affection
• 34:26
  is,
• 34:27
  have
• 34:27
  the
• 34:27
  affection
• 34:27
  for
• 34:28
  someone
• 34:28
  else.
• 34:28
  But
• 34:29
  then.
• 34:29
  Do
• 34:29
  you
• 34:29
  remember
• 34:30
  whenever.
• 34:31
  This
• 34:31
  is
• 34:31
  probably
• 34:31
  one
• 34:32
  of
• 34:32
  my
• 34:32
  favorite
• 34:32
  ones.
• 34:33
  My.
• 34:33
  Probably
• 34:33
  my
• 34:34
  favorite
• 34:34
  episode,
• 34:34
  I
• 34:35
  would
• 34:35
  say,
• 34:35
  is
• 34:35
  the
• 34:35
  Romeo
• 34:36
  and
• 34:36
  Juliet
• 34:37
  episode.
• 34:37
  I
• 34:37
  was
• 34:38
  just
• 34:38
  about
• 34:38
  it.
• 34:38
  Oh,
• 34:38
  my
• 34:39
  gosh.
• 34:39
  I
• 34:39
  do
• 34:39
  remember
• 34:39
  that.
• 34:40
  Like.
• 34:40
  Oh,
• 34:40
  yes.
• 34:41
  So
• 34:42
  I
• 34:42
  was
• 34:42
  a
• 34:42
  big
• 34:42
  theater
• 34:42
  kid
• 34:43
  growing
• 34:43
  up
• 34:43
  and
• 34:43
  like,
• 34:44
  yeah,
• 34:44
  they
• 34:44
  do
• 34:44
  their
• 34:44
  own
• 34:45
  episode.
• 34:45
  And
• 34:45
  I
• 34:45
  remember,
• 34:46
  like,
• 34:46
  you
• 34:46
  know,
• 34:46
  it
• 34:47
  was
• 34:47
  so,
• 34:47
  like,
• 34:48
  accurate
• 34:48
  in
• 34:48
  terms
• 34:49
  of
• 34:49
  how
• 34:49
  the
• 34:49
  characters
• 34:49
  react.
• 34:50
  Like
• 34:50
  the
• 34:50
  first,
• 34:50
  like,
• 34:50
  oh,
• 34:51
  it
• 34:51
  was
• 34:51
  just
• 34:51
  so
• 34:51
  quit
• 34:51
  as
• 34:52
  it's
• 34:52
  all
• 34:52
  the
• 34:52
  way
• 34:52
  the
• 34:52
  characters
• 34:53
  react
• 34:53
  when
• 34:53
  they
• 34:53
  do
• 34:53
  that.
• 34:54
  They're
• 34:54
  first
• 34:54
  at
• 34:54
  board,
• 34:55
  but
• 34:55
  then,
• 34:55
  like,
• 34:55
  when
• 34:56
  they
• 34:56
  talk
• 34:56
  about
• 34:56
  some
• 34:57
  of
• 34:57
  the
• 34:57
  plot
• 34:57
  elements,
• 34:57
  like,
• 34:58
  Carol
• 34:58
  jumps
• 34:58
  up
• 34:58
  and
• 34:59
  he's
• 34:59
  like,
• 34:59
  I
• 34:59
  want
• 34:59
  to
• 34:59
  do
• 35:00
  the
• 35:00
  sword
• 35:00
  fight.
• 35:00
  I
• 35:00
  want
• 35:01
  to
• 35:01
  deserve
• 35:01
  it.
• 35:01
  You
• 35:01
  know,
• 35:01
  like,
• 35:01
  that's
• 35:02
  what
• 35:02
  they're
• 35:02
  jumping
• 35:02
  into.
• 35:03
  And
• 35:03
  I
• 35:03
  was
• 35:04
  like,
• 35:04
  yeah,
• 35:04
  that's
• 35:05
  pretty
• 35:05
  accurate.
• 35:06
  But
• 35:06
  that
• 35:06
  was
• 35:06
  a
• 35:07
  great
• 35:07
  episode.
• 35:07
  It
• 35:08
  was.
• 35:08
  Well,
• 35:08
  then,
• 35:08
  because
• 35:09
  Helga
• 35:09
  had
• 35:09
  a
• 35:10
  dentist
• 35:10
  appointment.
• 35:10
  I
• 35:10
  remember
• 35:11
  this
• 35:11
  so
• 35:11
  vividly.
• 35:12
  Helga
• 35:13
  had
• 35:13
  a
• 35:13
  dentist
• 35:13
  appointment,
• 35:13
  so
• 35:14
  she
• 35:14
  missed
• 35:14
  casting,
• 35:15
  so
• 35:15
  she
• 35:15
  really
• 35:16
  couldn't
• 35:16
  like
• 35:16
  actually
• 35:18
  audition.
• 35:19
  And
• 35:19
  so
• 35:19
  she
• 35:19
  get
• 35:20
  like
• 35:20
  fifth
• 35:20
  understudy
• 35:21
  or
• 35:21
  something
• 35:21
  like
• 35:21
  that.
• 35:21
  So
• 35:22
  she
• 35:22
  goes
• 35:22
  and
• 35:23
  tries
• 35:23
  to
• 35:23
  like,
• 35:23
  get
• 35:24
  everyone
• 35:24
  to
• 35:24
  drop
• 35:24
  out.
• 35:25
  And
• 35:25
  so
• 35:25
  the
• 35:25
  last
• 35:26
  understudy
• 35:26
  she
• 35:26
  needs
• 35:27
  for
• 35:27
  the
• 35:27
  drop
• 35:27
  out
• 35:28
  is
• 35:28
  frickin
• 35:29
  Lila.
• 35:30
  And
• 35:30
  she's.
• 35:31
  Can't
• 35:31
  get
• 35:31
  Lila
• 35:32
  to
• 35:32
  drop
• 35:32
  out.
• 35:32
  Can't
• 35:32
  manipulate
• 35:33
  her,
• 35:33
  can't
• 35:33
  trick
• 35:34
  her.
• 35:34
  And
• 35:35
  Lila,
• 35:35
  being
• 35:35
  the
• 35:36
  sweet
• 35:36
  little
• 35:36
  person,
• 35:36
  is
• 35:37
  now
• 35:37
  so
• 35:38
  cunning,
• 35:38
  which
• 35:38
  I
• 35:39
  kind
• 35:39
  of
• 35:39
  love.
• 35:39
  She's
• 35:39
  like,
• 35:40
  well,
• 35:40
  if
• 35:40
  I
• 35:41
  had
• 35:41
  a
• 35:41
  good
• 35:41
  reason
• 35:41
  to
• 35:42
  drop
• 35:42
  out,
• 35:42
  like
• 35:42
  if
• 35:43
  you
• 35:43
  perhaps
• 35:44
  liked
• 35:44
  Arnold
• 35:45
  and
• 35:45
  you
• 35:45
  wanted
• 35:46
  to
• 35:46
  kiss
• 35:46
  him,
• 35:47
  I
• 35:47
  guess
• 35:47
  I
• 35:47
  could
• 35:47
  drop
• 35:48
  out
• 35:48
  then.
• 35:49
  So
• 35:49
  she
• 35:49
  literally
• 35:49
  manipulates
• 35:50
  Helga
• 35:51
  to
• 35:51
  admit
• 35:51
  her
• 35:52
  feelings
• 35:52
  for
• 35:52
  Arnold
• 35:53
  and
• 35:53
  she's
• 35:53
  like,
• 35:54
  I
• 35:54
  knew
• 35:54
  it.
• 35:55
  And
• 35:55
  Helga
• 35:56
  literally
• 35:57
  has
• 35:57
  one
• 35:57
  night
• 35:57
  to
• 35:57
  learn
• 35:58
  all
• 35:58
  of
• 35:58
  her
• 35:58
  lines.
• 35:59
  And
• 36:00
  that
• 36:00
  kiss,
• 36:00
  it
• 36:01
  was.
• 36:01
  I
• 36:01
  remember
• 36:02
  being
• 36:03
  at
• 36:03
  my
• 36:03
  grandma's
• 36:03
  house
• 36:04
  and
• 36:04
  I
• 36:04
  remember
• 36:04
  that
• 36:05
  episode
• 36:06
  is
• 36:06
  going
• 36:06
  to
• 36:06
  be
• 36:06
  premiering
• 36:08
  because
• 36:08
  we
• 36:08
  had
• 36:08
  to
• 36:08
  wait,
• 36:09
  everyone,
• 36:09
  for
• 36:10
  when
• 36:10
  something
• 36:10
  premiered.
• 36:11
  All
• 36:11
  episodes
• 36:12
  didn't
• 36:12
  drop
• 36:12
  at
• 36:12
  one
• 36:13
  point.
• 36:13
  And
• 36:13
  so
• 36:13
  I
• 36:14
  remember
• 36:14
  waiting
• 36:15
  for
• 36:15
  that
• 36:15
  episode
• 36:16
  because
• 36:16
  I
• 36:16
  knew
• 36:16
  there
• 36:16
  was
• 36:17
  going
• 36:17
  to
• 36:17
  be
• 36:17
  a
• 36:17
  kiss.
• 36:17
  And
• 36:18
  so,
• 36:18
  like,
• 36:18
  you
• 36:18
  know
• 36:19
  me,
• 36:19
  I've
• 36:19
  been
• 36:19
  obsessed
• 36:20
  with
• 36:20
  romance
• 36:20
  since
• 36:21
  I
• 36:21
  came
• 36:21
  out
• 36:21
  the
• 36:21
  womb,
• 36:22
  so
• 36:23
  I
• 36:23
  was
• 36:23
  all
• 36:23
  for
• 36:24
  it.
• 36:24
  And
• 36:24
  that
• 36:24
  kiss
• 36:25
  was
• 36:25
  so
• 36:25
  awkward.
• 36:26
  It's
• 36:26
  so
• 36:27
  long
• 36:27
  and
• 36:27
  awkward.
• 36:27
  And
• 36:28
  like,
• 36:28
  you
• 36:28
  just
• 36:29
  see
• 36:29
  the
• 36:29
  awkwardness
• 36:29
  in
• 36:30
  Arnold's
• 36:30
  face.
• 36:31
  Yes.
• 36:32
  Yeah.
• 36:32
  She
• 36:32
  made
• 36:32
  a
• 36:33
  noise
• 36:33
  and
• 36:33
  everything.
• 36:35
  And
• 36:35
  Arnold
• 36:35
  is
• 36:36
  just
• 36:36
  cringing
• 36:36
  is
• 36:36
  like,
• 36:37
  what
• 36:37
  is
• 36:37
  going
• 36:37
  on
• 36:38
  here?
• 36:38
  And.
• 36:39
  Oh,
• 36:39
  it
• 36:39
  was.
• 36:40
  It
• 36:40
  was
• 36:40
  brilliant.
• 36:40
  That
• 36:41
  is.
• 36:41
  I
• 36:41
  love
• 36:42
  how
• 36:42
  you
• 36:42
  have
• 36:42
  that
• 36:42
  visceral
• 36:43
  memory
• 36:43
  too.
• 36:44
  I
• 36:44
  have.
• 36:44
  I
• 36:45
  didn't
• 36:45
  realize,
• 36:46
  I
• 36:46
  promise,
• 36:46
  because
• 36:47
  I
• 36:47
  like,
• 36:47
  like,
• 36:48
  as
• 36:48
  you
• 36:48
  know,
• 36:49
  I
• 36:49
  literally
• 36:49
  came
• 36:50
  home
• 36:50
  from
• 36:50
  work.
• 36:51
  It's
• 36:51
  been
• 36:51
  the
• 36:51
  craziest
• 36:51
  day.
• 36:52
  So
• 36:52
  I
• 36:52
  have
• 36:52
  not
• 36:52
  thought
• 36:52
  about
• 36:53
  this
• 36:53
  episode
• 36:54
  at
• 36:54
  all
• 36:55
  since
• 36:55
  we
• 36:55
  said
• 36:55
  we
• 36:55
  were
• 36:56
  going
• 36:56
  to
• 36:56
  do
• 36:56
  this
• 36:56
  the
• 36:56
  other
• 36:57
  day.
• 36:57
  And
• 36:57
  so
• 36:57
  like,
• 36:57
  literally
• 36:58
  all
• 36:58
  these
• 36:58
  memories
• 36:58
  are
• 36:59
  rushing
• 36:59
  back
• 36:59
  and
• 37:00
  I
• 37:00
  can't
• 37:00
  believe
• 37:00
  how
• 37:00
  vivid
• 37:01
  I
• 37:01
  remember
• 37:01
  these
• 37:01
  episodes.
• 37:02
  And
• 37:02
  I
• 37:02
  think
• 37:02
  it's
• 37:03
  fascinating
• 37:03
  because,
• 37:04
  like,
• 37:04
  you
• 37:04
  would
• 37:04
  think,
• 37:05
  like,
• 37:05
  oh,
• 37:05
  a
• 37:05
  kid
• 37:06
  show
• 37:06
  that
• 37:07
  I.
• 37:07
  Yeah,
• 37:07
  I
• 37:07
  watched
• 37:08
  religiously
• 37:09
  back
• 37:09
  then,
• 37:09
  but
• 37:09
  it's
• 37:10
  been
• 37:10
  years.
• 37:10
  And
• 37:10
  even
• 37:11
  when
• 37:11
  you
• 37:11
  did
• 37:11
  a
• 37:11
  re
• 37:11
  Watch,
• 37:11
  that
• 37:12
  was
• 37:12
  still
• 37:12
  a
• 37:12
  few
• 37:12
  years
• 37:12
  ago.
• 37:13
  Some
• 37:13
  of
• 37:13
  These
• 37:14
  memories
• 37:14
  are
• 37:14
  20
• 37:14
  years
• 37:15
  old
• 37:15
  at
• 37:15
  least.
• 37:16
  Right.
• 37:16
  It
• 37:16
  says
• 37:17
  something
• 37:17
  to,
• 37:17
  like,
• 37:18
  how
• 37:18
  much
• 37:18
  it
• 37:19
  resonated
• 37:19
  and
• 37:19
  stuck
• 37:20
  with
• 37:20
  us
• 37:20
  that
• 37:21
  they're
• 37:21
  coming
• 37:21
  back
• 37:22
  to
• 37:22
  us
• 37:22
  now.
• 37:23
  And
• 37:24
  I
• 37:24
  think
• 37:24
  one
• 37:24
  of
• 37:24
  my
• 37:24
  favorite
• 37:25
  characters,
• 37:25
  like,
• 37:26
  was
• 37:26
  Eugene,
• 37:27
  the
• 37:27
  one
• 37:27
  who's,
• 37:27
  like,
• 37:28
  constantly
• 37:28
  having
• 37:29
  bad
• 37:29
  luck
• 37:29
  and
• 37:29
  just
• 37:30
  getting
• 37:30
  beat
• 37:30
  up
• 37:30
  all
• 37:30
  the
• 37:30
  time.
• 37:31
  That
• 37:31
  episode,
• 37:31
  that
• 37:32
  was
• 37:32
  an
• 37:32
  early
• 37:32
  one
• 37:33
  when
• 37:33
  Arnold's
• 37:33
  trying
• 37:33
  to
• 37:34
  help
• 37:34
  him,
• 37:34
  and
• 37:35
  it
• 37:35
  ultimately
• 37:36
  doesn't
• 37:36
  end
• 37:36
  with,
• 37:37
  like,
• 37:37
  him
• 37:37
  fixing
• 37:38
  all
• 37:38
  his
• 37:38
  problems.
• 37:38
  And
• 37:38
  he
• 37:38
  gets,
• 37:39
  like,
• 37:39
  you
• 37:39
  know,
• 37:39
  in
• 37:40
  a
• 37:40
  body
• 37:40
  cast,
• 37:40
  like,
• 37:41
  not
• 37:41
  because
• 37:42
  Arnold's
• 37:42
  intentions.
• 37:43
  It's
• 37:44
  just,
• 37:44
  like,
• 37:44
  an
• 37:44
  accident.
• 37:44
  And,
• 37:45
  like,
• 37:45
  this
• 37:46
  poor
• 37:46
  dude.
• 37:46
  Just.
• 37:46
  This
• 37:47
  stuff
• 37:47
  keeps
• 37:47
  happening.
• 37:48
  But
• 37:49
  it,
• 37:49
  like,
• 37:49
  I
• 37:49
  think
• 37:50
  that
• 37:50
  pointed
• 37:50
  to
• 37:50
  the
• 37:50
  fact
• 37:51
  of,
• 37:51
  like,
• 37:52
  they
• 37:52
  don't
• 37:52
  always.
• 37:54
  They
• 37:55
  intentionally
• 37:56
  have
• 37:56
  the
• 37:56
  characters
• 37:57
  not
• 37:58
  always
• 37:58
  wrap
• 37:58
  everything
• 37:59
  up
• 37:59
  in
• 37:59
  a
• 37:59
  nice
• 38:00
  little,
• 38:01
  you
• 38:01
  know,
• 38:03
  ending
• 38:03
  here
• 38:03
  of,
• 38:04
  like,
• 38:04
  where
• 38:04
  everything
• 38:04
  gets
• 38:05
  resolved
• 38:07
  as
• 38:07
  it
• 38:07
  should
• 38:07
  or
• 38:07
  as
• 38:08
  they
• 38:08
  hope
• 38:08
  it
• 38:08
  would
• 38:08
  be.
• 38:09
  There
• 38:09
  are
• 38:09
  loose
• 38:09
  ends
• 38:10
  left,
• 38:10
  and
• 38:11
  sometimes
• 38:12
  characters
• 38:12
  have
• 38:13
  the
• 38:13
  same
• 38:13
  issues
• 38:13
  by
• 38:14
  the
• 38:14
  end
• 38:14
  of
• 38:14
  the
• 38:14
  episode.
• 38:15
  And
• 38:15
  I
• 38:15
  thought
• 38:15
  that
• 38:16
  was
• 38:16
  a
• 38:16
  very
• 38:16
  honest
• 38:17
  look
• 38:17
  because,
• 38:17
  like,
• 38:17
  that's
• 38:17
  typically
• 38:18
  how
• 38:18
  life
• 38:18
  happens.
• 38:19
  It's
• 38:19
  not
• 38:19
  always
• 38:19
  in
• 38:20
  a
• 38:20
  neat
• 38:20
  little
• 38:20
  bubble
• 38:21
  here.
• 38:22
  And
• 38:22
  then
• 38:22
  you
• 38:22
  had
• 38:22
  Sid,
• 38:23
  too.
• 38:23
  I
• 38:24
  forgot
• 38:24
  about
• 38:24
  Sid
• 38:24
  until
• 38:25
  you
• 38:25
  mentioned
• 38:25
  you
• 38:25
  beat
• 38:25
  June.
• 38:26
  And
• 38:26
  Sid
• 38:26
  didn't
• 38:27
  even
• 38:27
  talk.
• 38:27
  Well,
• 38:27
  he
• 38:27
  went,
• 38:28
  like,
• 38:28
  high
• 38:28
  or
• 38:28
  something
• 38:28
  like
• 38:29
  that.
• 38:29
  He
• 38:29
  was
• 38:29
  just
• 38:29
  behind
• 38:29
  people,
• 38:30
  breathing
• 38:30
  very
• 38:31
  awkwardly,
• 38:32
  and
• 38:32
  Helga
• 38:32
  would
• 38:33
  punch
• 38:33
  him
• 38:33
  in
• 38:33
  the
• 38:33
  face.
• 38:34
  And
• 38:34
  then
• 38:34
  one
• 38:34
  time
• 38:35
  she
• 38:35
  didn't
• 38:35
  punch
• 38:35
  him
• 38:35
  in
• 38:36
  the
• 38:36
  face,
• 38:36
  and
• 38:36
  he
• 38:36
  was
• 38:36
  so
• 38:37
  confused,
• 38:37
  and
• 38:37
  he
• 38:37
  punched
• 38:38
  himself
• 38:38
  in
• 38:38
  the
• 38:38
  face.
• 38:39
  So
• 38:40
  we
• 38:40
  don't
• 38:40
  condemn
• 38:41
  violence.
• 38:42
  I
• 38:42
  don't,
• 38:42
  but
• 38:43
  I'm
• 38:43
  just,
• 38:43
  like,
• 38:44
  thinking
• 38:44
  of,
• 38:44
  like,
• 38:44
  as
• 38:44
  you
• 38:45
  say
• 38:45
  that.
• 38:45
  I
• 38:46
  also
• 38:46
  remember
• 38:46
  it
• 38:46
  vividly
• 38:47
  again,
• 38:47
  it's
• 38:47
  so
• 38:47
  much.
• 38:48
  It's
• 38:48
  funny
• 38:48
  how,
• 38:48
  like,
• 38:49
  I've
• 38:49
  not
• 38:49
  watched
• 38:49
  this
• 38:49
  in
• 38:50
  years,
• 38:50
  but
• 38:50
  it's
• 38:51
  coming
• 38:51
  back
• 38:51
  to
• 38:51
  me
• 38:52
  now,
• 38:52
  so
• 38:52
  it's
• 38:53
  a
• 38:53
  powerful
• 38:54
  show
• 38:54
  in
• 38:54
  that
• 38:54
  regard.
• 38:55
  It
• 38:55
  is.
• 38:55
  So
• 38:56
  go
• 38:56
  watch
• 38:56
  it,
• 38:56
  guys,
• 38:57
  however
• 38:58
  you
• 38:58
  need.
• 38:59
  I'm
• 38:59
  sure
• 38:59
  it's
• 39:00
  for
• 39:00
  free
• 39:00
  somewhere.
• 39:00
  I.
• 39:01
  We
• 39:01
  do
• 39:01
  not
• 39:01
  condone
• 39:02
  pirating,
• 39:02
  but
• 39:03
  if
• 39:03
  you
• 39:03
  want
• 39:03
  to
• 39:04
  say
• 39:04
  R
• 39:04
  and
• 39:05
  shiver
• 39:05
  your
• 39:06
  timbers
• 39:06
  to
• 39:06
  go
• 39:06
  find
• 39:06
  it.
• 39:07
  I
• 39:07
  hated
• 39:07
  actually
• 39:08
  that
• 39:08
  saying
• 39:08
  that.
• 39:09
  Delete
• 39:09
  me
• 39:10
  right
• 39:10
  now.
• 39:12
  On
• 39:13
  the
• 39:13
  next
• 39:13
  episode
• 39:13
  of
• 39:13
  Systematic
• 39:14
  Ecology.
• 39:14
  But.
• 39:15
  But.
• 39:16
  But
• 39:16
  no,
• 39:17
  I.
• 39:17
  Well,
• 39:17
  I
• 39:17
  mean,
• 39:18
  there's
• 39:18
  got
• 39:18
  to
• 39:18
  be
• 39:18
  at
• 39:19
  least,
• 39:19
  like,
• 39:19
  clips
• 39:19
  and
• 39:20
  episodes
• 39:20
  on
• 39:20
  YouTube.
• 39:21
  You
• 39:21
  can
• 39:21
  get,
• 39:21
  like.
• 39:21
  I
• 39:22
  would
• 39:22
  recommend,
• 39:22
  like,
• 39:22
  if
• 39:22
  you've
• 39:23
  never
• 39:23
  seen
• 39:23
  it,
• 39:23
  maybe
• 39:24
  get
• 39:24
  a
• 39:24
  taste
• 39:24
  for
• 39:24
  it
• 39:24
  there
• 39:25
  and
• 39:25
  then.
• 39:25
  Yeah,
• 39:26
  it's
• 39:26
  on
• 39:26
  Paramount
• 39:27
  or.
• 39:27
  I
• 39:27
  mean,
• 39:27
  I
• 39:28
  think
• 39:28
  it's
• 39:28
  a
• 39:28
  great
• 39:28
  one
• 39:28
  to
• 39:28
  own,
• 39:29
  too.
• 39:29
  You
• 39:29
  could
• 39:29
  probably
• 39:29
  get
• 39:29
  a
• 39:29
  DVD
• 39:30
  or
• 39:30
  Blu
• 39:30
  Ray
• 39:30
  pretty
• 39:30
  cheap,
• 39:31
  honestly.
• 39:32
  But,
• 39:32
  yeah,
• 39:33
  it's
• 39:34
  a
• 39:34
  great
• 39:34
  show,
• 39:34
  and
• 39:35
  I
• 39:35
  think
• 39:35
  I'm
• 39:36
  gonna
• 39:36
  really
• 39:37
  enjoy
• 39:37
  rewatching
• 39:38
  as
• 39:38
  an
• 39:38
  adult,
• 39:39
  because,
• 39:39
  again,
• 39:40
  viewing
• 39:40
  it
• 39:40
  through
• 39:40
  this
• 39:40
  lens
• 39:41
  and
• 39:41
  seeing
• 39:42
  how
• 39:42
  many
• 39:42
  themes
• 39:43
  and
• 39:43
  complexities
• 39:43
  were
• 39:44
  embedded
• 39:44
  into
• 39:44
  it
• 39:45
  and
• 39:46
  the
• 39:47
  approach
• 39:47
  they
• 39:47
  had
• 39:47
  to
• 39:48
  the
• 39:48
  show
• 39:48
  with
• 39:48
  mental
• 39:49
  health
• 39:49
  and
• 39:49
  with
• 39:49
  characterization
• 39:50
  I
• 39:51
  think
• 39:51
  is
• 39:51
  so
• 39:51
  revolutionary
• 39:52
  and
• 39:52
  so
• 39:52
  ahead
• 39:52
  of
• 39:52
  its
• 39:53
  time.
• 39:53
  So
• 39:54
  I
• 39:54
  really
• 39:54
  appreciate
• 39:54
  it.
• 39:55
  Also,
• 39:55
  fun
• 39:55
  fact
• 39:55
  is
• 39:56
  Craig
• 39:56
  Bartlett
• 39:56
  is
• 39:56
  the
• 39:57
  brother
• 39:58
  in
• 39:58
  law
• 39:58
  of
• 39:58
  the
• 39:58
  Simpsons
• 39:59
  creator.
• 40:00
  So
• 40:00
  it's
• 40:00
  a
• 40:00
  little
• 40:00
  like,
• 40:01
  you
• 40:01
  know,
• 40:03
  animation
• 40:03
  cinematic
• 40:04
  universe
• 40:04
  there.
• 40:05
  Did
• 40:05
  not
• 40:05
  know
• 40:05
  that.
• 40:06
  That's
• 40:06
  fun.
• 40:06
  Yeah.
• 40:06
  I
• 40:07
  only
• 40:07
  learned
• 40:07
  that
• 40:07
  today,
• 40:07
  but
• 40:08
  that
• 40:08
  was.
• 40:08
  That
• 40:08
  was
• 40:09
  my
• 40:09
  next
• 40:10

  information.
• 40:11
  I
• 40:12
  know.
• 40:13
  Yeah.
• 40:14
  Well,
• 40:14
  is
• 40:14
  there
• 40:14
  anything
• 40:14
  else
• 40:15
  you
• 40:15
  want
• 40:15
  to
• 40:15
  wrap
• 40:15
  it
• 40:15
  up
• 40:15
  here
• 40:16
  you
• 40:16
  want
• 40:16
  to
• 40:16
  say
• 40:16
  about
• 40:16
  the
• 40:17
  series
• 40:17
  or
• 40:18
  just
• 40:19
  like.
• 40:20
  I
• 40:20
  mean
• 40:20
  I
• 40:20
  think
• 40:20
  like,
• 40:21
  I
• 40:21
  think
• 40:21
  all
• 40:21
  of
• 40:21
  those
• 40:22
  kind
• 40:22
  of
• 40:22
  tie
• 40:22
  into
• 40:22
  the
• 40:22
  spiritual
• 40:23
  aspect
• 40:23
  of
• 40:23
  it
• 40:23
  in
• 40:24
  terms
• 40:24
  of
• 40:25
  like
• 40:26
  again
• 40:26
  the
• 40:26
  sense
• 40:26
  of
• 40:26
  community.
• 40:28
  The,
• 40:29
  you
• 40:29
  know,
• 40:29
  the
• 40:30
  ways
• 40:30
  that
• 40:31
  each
• 40:31
  character
• 40:32
  has
• 40:32
  their
• 40:32
  own
• 40:33
  strengths
• 40:33
  and
• 40:33
  weaknesses
• 40:34
  and
• 40:34
  flaws.
• 40:35
  But
• 40:35
  is
• 40:35
  there
• 40:35
  anything
• 40:36
  else
• 40:36
  you
• 40:36
  wanted
• 40:36
  to
• 40:37
  like
• 40:37
  in
• 40:37
  that
• 40:38
  regard
• 40:38
  that
• 40:38
  sticks
• 40:39
  out
• 40:39
  to
• 40:39
  you?
• 40:39
  No,
• 40:40
  I
• 40:40
  think.
• 40:40
  I
• 40:40
  think
• 40:40
  that's
• 40:41
  it.
• 40:41
  Yeah.
• 40:42
  Yeah.
• 40:42
  Sweet.
• 40:43
  Well,
• 40:43
  great
• 40:43
  show
• 40:44
  to
• 40:44
  why
• 40:44
  I'm
• 40:45
  so
• 40:45
  glad
• 40:45
  you
• 40:45
  recommended
• 40:45
  this
• 40:46
  one.
• 40:46
  And
• 40:46
  now
• 40:46
  this
• 40:46
  makes
• 40:46
  me
• 40:47
  want
• 40:47
  to
• 40:47
  go
• 40:47
  and
• 40:47
  re
• 40:48
  watch
• 40:48
  it.
• 40:48
  So
• 40:48
  we
• 40:48
  will
• 40:49
  like,
• 40:49
  we'll
• 40:49
  have
• 40:50
  to
• 40:50
  do
• 40:50
  like
• 40:50
  more
• 40:50
  Nickelodeon
• 40:51
  era
• 40:52
  90s
• 40:52
  stuff.
• 40:52
  Maybe
• 40:53
  that
• 40:53
  should
• 40:53
  be
• 40:53
  the
• 40:54
  new
• 40:54
  series,
• 40:54
  the
• 40:55
  next
• 40:55
  series
• 40:56
  like
• 40:56
  go
• 40:56
  through
• 40:56
  the
• 40:57
  90s.
• 40:58
  Here
• 40:58
  it
• 40:58
  is
• 40:59
  like
• 40:59
  the
• 40:59
  unofficial
• 40:59
  pilot
• 41:00
  right
• 41:00
  now
• 41:00
  and
• 41:01
  now
• 41:01
  we
• 41:01
  can
• 41:01
  do
• 41:01
  that
• 41:01
  series
• 41:02
  next
• 41:02
  time.
• 41:03
  I
• 41:03
  love
• 41:03
  it.
• 41:03
  I
• 41:03
  love
• 41:03
  it.
• 41:04
  Well,
• 41:04
  on
• 41:04
  that
• 41:05
  note,
• 41:05
  is
• 41:05
  there.
• 41:06
  Is
• 41:06
  there
• 41:06
  anything
• 41:07
  you
• 41:07
  want
• 41:07
  to
• 41:07
  recommend
• 41:08
  either
• 41:08
  related
• 41:09
  to
• 41:09
  this
• 41:09
  topic
• 41:09
  being
• 41:10
  be
• 41:10
  it
• 41:10
  another
• 41:11
  90s
• 41:11
  show
• 41:11
  like
• 41:11
  that
• 41:11
  or
• 41:12
  give
• 41:12
  me
• 41:12
  something
• 41:12
  completely
• 41:13
  different.
• 41:14
  I'll
• 41:14
  just
• 41:14
  choose
• 41:15
  completely
• 41:15
  different.
• 41:16
  So
• 41:16
  I've
• 41:17
  been
• 41:17
  watching
• 41:17
  week
• 41:17
  to
• 41:18
  week
• 41:18
  Sakimoto
• 41:19
  Days.
• 41:19
  It's
• 41:19
  a
• 41:19
  new
• 41:19
  anime
• 41:20
  on
• 41:20
  Netflix.
• 41:21
  You
• 41:22
  should
• 41:22
  watch
• 41:22
  it.
• 41:22
  It's
• 41:23
  hilarious.
• 41:24
  It's
• 41:25
  about
• 41:25
  Ex
• 41:26
  Assassin.
• 41:26
  He
• 41:27
  gets
• 41:27
  out
• 41:27
  of
• 41:27
  the
• 41:27
  game
• 41:28
  and
• 41:28
  he
• 41:28
  becomes
• 41:28
  fat
• 41:29
  and.
• 41:31
  But
• 41:31
  now
• 41:31
  there's
• 41:31
  a
• 41:32
  hit
• 41:32
  on
• 41:32
  him
• 41:32
  because
• 41:32
  he
• 41:33
  left
• 41:33
  the
• 41:33
  organization
• 41:33
  without
• 41:34
  permission
• 41:35
  and
• 41:35
  he
• 41:36
  is
• 41:37
  just
• 41:37
  a
• 41:37
  little
• 41:37
  tubby
• 41:38
  person
• 41:38
  trying
• 41:38
  to,
• 41:39
  you
• 41:39
  know,
• 41:39
  not
• 41:40
  kill
• 41:40
  anyone
• 41:40
  now.
• 41:40
  It's
• 41:41
  great.
• 41:41
  That
• 41:42
  sounds
• 41:42
  awesome.
• 41:42
  Oh,
• 41:43
  very
• 41:43
  cool.
• 41:43
  I
• 41:43
  think
• 41:44
  it's.
• 41:44
  That
• 41:44
  still
• 41:44
  ties
• 41:45
  in
• 41:45
  enough
• 41:45
  of
• 41:45
  like
• 41:46
  is
• 41:46
  this.
• 41:47
  Yeah,
• 41:48
  it
• 41:48
  works.
• 41:48
  If
• 41:49
  one
• 41:49
  I
• 41:49
  like
• 41:49
  another
• 41:50
  one
• 41:50
  that
• 41:50
  I
• 41:50
  haven't
• 41:50
  watched
• 41:51
  in
• 41:51
  years
• 41:51
  but
• 41:51
  I
• 41:51
  mentioned
• 41:52
  earlier
• 41:52
  but
• 41:52
  I
• 41:53
  really
• 41:53
  enjoyed
• 41:53
  was
• 41:54
  Danny
• 41:54
  Phantom.
• 41:55
  That
• 41:55
  was
• 41:55
  a
• 41:55
  really
• 41:55
  fun
• 41:56
  one
• 41:56
  that
• 41:56
  I
• 41:56
  like
• 41:57
  where
• 41:58
  it
• 41:58
  had
• 41:58
  a
• 41:58
  bit
• 41:58
  of
• 41:59
  like
• 41:59
  sci
• 41:59
  fi
• 42:00
  and
• 42:00
  comedy.
• 42:00
  I
• 42:01
  really
• 42:01
  like
• 42:01
  the
• 42:01
  main
• 42:02
  characters
• 42:02
  dealt
• 42:02
  with
• 42:03
  like
• 42:03
  ghosts
• 42:03
  and
• 42:04
  supernatural
• 42:05
  stuff.
• 42:06
  Sweet.
• 42:06
  Well,
• 42:07
  this
• 42:07
  was
• 42:07
  a
• 42:07
  blast.
• 42:08
  Thank
• 42:08
  you
• 42:08
  so
• 42:08
  again
• 42:08
  so
• 42:08
  much.
• 42:09
  Oh,
• 42:10
  I
• 42:10
  love
• 42:10
  it
• 42:10
  so
• 42:11
  much.
• 42:11
  Yes.
• 42:12
  And
• 42:12
  again
• 42:13
  for
• 42:13
  our.
• 42:13
  Yeah.
• 42:14
  Yeah.
• 42:14
  For
