  Speaker 1: Detroit wanted, for whatever reason, they wanted that fourth place

  Speaker 1: to have Arizona, you know, all those teams that are

  Speaker 1: not quite as good as they would have played in

  Speaker 1: our position. And then the Packers they wrapped everything up,

  Speaker 1: they had a third string defense, and then JJ McCarthy

  Speaker 1: decided to like get a taunting penalty when he has

  Speaker 1: the bones of a bird. Like, I mean, if you

  Speaker 1: want to take somebody on and give other people more

  Speaker 1: reasons to come at you, that's fine. But be able

  Speaker 1: be like, well, I guess okay is good enough. Like

  Speaker 1: we got the quarterback whisper. But and then you see

  Speaker 1: guys like Drake may Like going out and doing their

  Speaker 1: thing and looking like an MVP in their second season.

  Speaker 1: That that's scary to me. Yeah, that's that's what makes

  Speaker 3: And the thing is when they when the Vikings drafted Jay,

  Speaker 3: you know, he wasn't asked to do a whole lot

  Speaker 3: at Michigan either. People were, you know, I think they

  Speaker 3: got kind of caught up in him being a national champion,
• 8:10
  Speaker 3: you know, a national championship winning quarterback, which he was
• 8:14
  Speaker 3: and deservedly so, but he wasn't And you know, you

  Speaker 3: go back and look at that season at Michigan, he
• 8:19
  Speaker 3: wasn't asked to do a whole lot, complete a couple
• 8:21
  Speaker 3: of big passes here and there, you know, otherwise he's
• 8:25
  Speaker 3: handing it off to Blake Krn you know the other
• 8:28
  Speaker 3: weapons they had there as well. But I don't know,

  Speaker 3: man I. And now you're in a position after two

  Speaker 3: years where you still don't.

  Speaker 1: Know what you got. Yeah, because we haven't really seen enough.

  Speaker 1: Like we never got to see like a full preseason

  Speaker 1: this year with him. We never It's just Kevin O'Connell

  Speaker 1: wants to, like hide a lot of his stuff. Well,

  Speaker 1: mean they kind of get bailed out by being able

  Speaker 1: got next year, Well, I mean lame duck season. Next

  Speaker 1: year they got. They're tied to him in a lame

  Speaker 1: duck season. I don't foresee extension happening before the season starts.

  Speaker 1: So we'll see, we'll see. I mean, he has Kevin O'Connell,

  Speaker 1: has he shown us enough where he can put the

  Speaker 1: empty backfield on third and two and then going forward

  Speaker 1: I don't know that. I think people have this ego

  Speaker 1: and they just overthink things.

  Speaker 3: And sometimes and they start believing their press clippings and

  Speaker 3: being called the quarterback whisper and all this stuff.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, and then so you're a quarterback whisper with busted

  Speaker 1: up entities, right, you bring in these the Josh Dobbs

  Speaker 1: of the world, and you have these busted up entities. Well,

  Speaker 1: eventually you gotta say you're good at fixing lawnmowers. Eventually

  Speaker 1: you're gonna want to buy a brand new one that

  Speaker 1: you're not gonna have to do anything with. And I

  Speaker 3: aggravated the Golden Gopher. Max Brosmer comes in, finishes out

  Speaker 3: and speaking of Brosmer, I mean, obviously because of his

  Speaker 3: Gopher connection, everybody was excited. But look, an undrafted free

  Speaker 3: agent he made the team. That's kind of remarkable right there.

  Speaker 3: But remember he was a third string quarterback working with

  Speaker 3: the third team, second team here and there. He just
• 11:34
  Speaker 3: wasn't prepared. And you know, I mean it, Yeah, this

  Speaker 3: whole thing is just kind of blown up in front

  Speaker 3: of everybody, now, and what do you do.

  Speaker 1: I'm I'm kind of happy that they let us digest

  Speaker 1: their failures for half the season. Like I'm not coming

  Speaker 1: on the show as saying, oh man, we're going to

  Speaker 1: that they weren't going to make the playoffs, and lo

  Speaker 1: and behold, these are gonna be some of that. So far,

  Speaker 1: they've been some of the best playoffs I've ever seen.

  Speaker 1: kickoff and they won against the Lions the first time, right,

  Speaker 1: they were six and a half point underdogs. So there's
