  Speaker 1: obviously Florida State, Georgia Tech. I think it's interesting that

  Speaker 1: they're kicking off with a conference game to start the season.

  Speaker 1: Georgia Tech Florida State are already across the pond as

  Speaker 1: they open up. Scottie, I say, we just jump right in, brother,

  Speaker 1: first game. You're gonna have ten am Saturday mornings, gonna

  Speaker 1: be Georgia Tech, Florida State. This land's taken some action

  Speaker 1: this summer. This number came in around fourteen thirteen and

  Speaker 1: a half kind of stayed there for a long time.

  Speaker 1: I actually took Georgia Tech at fourteen. I'm thinking that

  Speaker 1: was a little bit too much. This week, one of

  Speaker 1: the world of social media came out and hit Georgia

  Speaker 1: Tech pretty hard. It dropped that number down all the

  Speaker 1: way to ten. Somebody popped it came back the other way.

  Speaker 1: It looks like it's settled in at ten and a

  Speaker 1: half over under fifty five in this game. If you

  Speaker 1: follow college football at all, you know Florida State lost

  Speaker 1: a ton of kids to the NFL this last year

  Speaker 1: in graduation, but this roster's not in bad shape. Dj

  Speaker 1: Anglele transfers back from Oregon State into this spot. But
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: the one thing that I really like about Florida State
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: is their offensive lines back. This has been a problem
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: for Florida State for a number of years, but they've
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: got a ton of snaps back on this offensive line.

  Speaker 1: They've got a good running back room. Royd delle Williams
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: transfers over here from Alabama. This kid is electric. I

  Speaker 1: think he's tough as nails, and so they're going to
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: run a lot of run pass option, a lot of
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: spread option in this spot. Georgia Tech comes in improof team.

  Speaker 1: Last year, Haines King quarterback for them. I think he's
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: done pretty well. Offense was a little bit more explosive
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: than they've got. So when I look at this game,

  Speaker 1: like I said, I've got a Georgia Tech ticket plus

  Speaker 1: fourteen just for some pizza money that I put down

  Speaker 1: early in the season. I'm not a big you know,

  Speaker 1: gambling week zero in week one is tough because you

  Speaker 1: don't have a lot of data points at this spot.

  Speaker 1: But looking at this one here, you know you got

  Speaker 1: Georgia Tech Florida State in Georgia Tech. To me, I

  Speaker 1: think where they're really going to struggle in this game

  Speaker 1: is I don't think their front seven is going to
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: match up very well against Florida State. I think that
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: Florida State's really gonna be able to run right at
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: these guys. To be able to shut down with Florida
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: State offense, you've got to have some strong edge rushers,
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: and they just don't have the talent in this spot.

  Speaker 1: I think Florida State's going to probably roll this with
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: If I could sit around and get a Florida State
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: at ten, I would probably pop it again. Other than that,

  Speaker 1: I don't have any hard convictions in this one, but
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: Florida State might as tend to be a boy play.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, at this line is starting to get close. I
• 5:49
  Speaker 2: have felt like this game is going to be close
• 5:52
  Speaker 2: all year, and there's several reasons for that. First, they're
• 5:57
  Speaker 2: going halfway across the world. I mean it's a long

  Speaker 2: time like they're staying in hotel rooms. They got to

  Speaker 2: be over there for a while to get their body suggested.

  Speaker 3: It's just a it's a big trip.

  Speaker 2: And I think much like when Northwestern and Nebraska went

  Speaker 2: over there, that game was a bloodbath and neither one

  Speaker 2: of those teams played well.

  Speaker 3: You know, lots of mistakes here.

  Speaker 1: Would I wouldn't hesitate to go under the first half

  Speaker 1: either this one. Do.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's I think that may be a

  Speaker 2: lot of what we get. I still think this game

  Speaker 2: is going to be close. I think Brent Key's got

  Speaker 2: Georgia Tech going in the right direction. Ever since he

  Speaker 2: took over, this team has looked like a different program.

  Speaker 2: And he took over mid season and they've looked different.

  Speaker 2: And they were much better last year, getting seven wins,

  Speaker 2: getting to a bowl game, which was a big step

  Speaker 2: from where they had been.

  Speaker 2: That's exactly right. Hayes King did a nice job last year.

  Speaker 2: I think he's going to continue to improve. He's just

  Speaker 2: got to cut down on the turnovers. But he certainly

  Speaker 2: is a very very talented gall on a quarterback spot.

  Speaker 2: So I'm actually gonna lean towards I will not have

  Speaker 2: a huge play on this since the line has cratered.

  Speaker 3: I still like Georgia Tech. And everybody that you.

  Speaker 2: Look at in gambling is on Florida state, Florida state,

  Speaker 2: and I agree with you bringing in the running back

  Speaker 2: from Florida. Looking at Ungla Lele, everybody thinks that they're

  Speaker 2: gonna be able to mall these guys and manhandle these guys.

  Speaker 3: So we'll see, we'll see how that shapes out.

  Speaker 2: I'm just looking for I'm expecting this to be a

  Speaker 2: So that's where I leaned there. This is not remotely

  Speaker 2: my favorite game of the weekend.

  Speaker 1: a buddy, he's been harping at me all year, all summer.

  Speaker 1: Take BC Week two, they're gonna playing Florida State. Florida

  Speaker 1: State's got to come back, just to heads out. If

  Speaker 1: you know this or not, a lot of people think

  Speaker 1: that if you're playing week one, you've got an advantage

  Speaker 1: in week two. That's not the case. And if you

  Speaker 1: go back, I think since two thy twenty, maybe before that,

  Speaker 1: and you go back and look at teams that play

  Speaker 1: week zero that turn around play week one have not

  Speaker 1: covered at the rate at like fifty six percent. And

  Speaker 1: it's because you've got data on those guys. You've got

  Speaker 1: film that you can break down. I mean, all these
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: programs have big time film rooms, analysts. You've got points
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: that you can take away, you can look to exploit.

  Speaker 1: And so keep that mind. BC hit again yesterday along

  Speaker 1: with Georgia Tech. It'll be interesting to see if that's

  Speaker 1: a head fake going into week one or if that's
