- 1:15Speaker 1: But I'll be right back though I've been right. It's
- 1:17Speaker 1: gonna be a great time. Whatever the BT was up, Man,

- 1:30Speaker 1: you not about his birthday party? Well? Because yo, yo,
- 1:36Speaker 1: you listen. Man, I was trying something to DJ, so
- 1:41Speaker 1: you had to be there and you're supposed to be Listen. Man,
- 1:44Speaker 1: I see Nellie last night and he was like, man,
- 1:46Speaker 1: why wasn't you at the part? I was like, Man,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I was tired. Sometimes you know, I'm getting older. Man,
- 1:51Speaker 1: I gotta take my ass to sleep. Sometimes you gotta
- 1:53Speaker 1: get your rest, you feel Listen. Our careers are very
- 1:56Speaker 1: demanding and sometimes you just can't make every sense. You
- 1:58Speaker 1: can't make everything good. He really, but you see how
- 2:02Speaker 1: he did? You? Man? Straight shots? Damn, I'll see how
- 2:05Speaker 1: was your weekend? Keep asking this week? My week it
- 2:12Speaker 1: was decent outside outside, not inside outside. Where what did
- 2:16Speaker 1: you do? Did you see anything? Special to anybody. Get
- 2:17Speaker 1: any fights and he shootouts bang bang what he happened?
- 2:20Speaker 1: I stayed away from all that stuff. Future music is
- 2:23Speaker 1: still is on the way. Definitely music on the way.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Some toxic music is on the way. I was outside
- 2:29Speaker 1: Boogaloo with you on Friday, Republic on Saturday, Buckhead Saloon
- 2:33Speaker 1: Sunday bt uh and then yeah, we're ready to get
- 2:36Speaker 1: into the show. Let's get into you. And I just
- 2:38Speaker 1: say Strength of Whole Woman tour in Atlanta. I don't
- 2:41Speaker 1: know who this is, but somebody from that page followed
- 2:43Speaker 1: me on the Instagram and I appreciate you'all. So if
- 2:45Speaker 1: y'all need me to host the something, just you know,
- 2:47Speaker 1: just click the email button on my cage and I
- 2:49Speaker 1: got you, like, don't just follow me and I speak
- 2:51Speaker 1: France speak Strength of a Woman festival. How at your girl? Okay,
- 2:58Speaker 1: we can move on. Let's get oh speaking up. Mary
- 3:07Speaker 1: J Blige. Did you'll ever realized that Mary J. Blige
- 3:09Speaker 1: has no kids? I've never I've never noticed that. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: thought of it. I think I know that because she's
- 3:14Speaker 1: never been bregnant. You know, they was documented that if
- 3:19Speaker 1: Mary J. Blige got pregnant, that would have been documented,
- 3:22Speaker 1: like she could have got bregned before she was famous.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Though she was always famous, she wasn't born famous. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: wasn't born by the time she wasn't she about had
- 3:31Speaker 1: kids before you knew about her. It's the point that
- 3:34Speaker 1: we would have knew, we would have known them kids.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm just saying I never thought about it, but O
- 3:37Speaker 1: c t you actually consciously, it's like it's stuck out
- 3:40Speaker 1: like she never had children. It's kind of like Vivica Fox,
- 3:43Speaker 1: like their careers came first, and I never noticed that
- 3:47Speaker 1: I knew Vivica didn't have kids, but Mary, I just
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, I'm into like documentary, so
- 3:52Speaker 1: when I watched, you know, she didn't have about toils
- 3:55Speaker 1: by now, you know, throughout her career and she's never
- 3:57Speaker 1: brought up kids, and she's always struggled with herself and
- 4:00Speaker 1: she's been so focused on that. It kind of let
- 4:03Speaker 1: me know why she didn't want kids. You know, it's
- 4:06Speaker 1: a lot of pressure listening. I got a lot of
- 4:08Speaker 1: nieces and nephews to have a lot of friends with kids,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and sometimes y'all stress carries on to me and I
- 4:13Speaker 1: just be feeling, like, why would I want children? Right now.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I mean, but she's had a hard life because you know,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you've been in the documentary she's always saying how much
- 4:20Speaker 1: she doesn't like herself, she has low self esteem or
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know. So my thing is very honest. Yeah, my
- 4:27Speaker 1: thing is she would want to focus on herself. You know.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I think also too, it's hard like when you are
- 4:32Speaker 1: someone who has certain traumas, childhood traumas, you are concerned
- 4:36Speaker 1: about whether you can keep your children safe from experiencing
- 4:39Speaker 1: those traumas too. So it's a lot. But nonetheless, y'all
- 4:41Speaker 1: decide pressure on women have babies. Some women don't want
- 4:44Speaker 1: babies at all, let alone at a certain age. So
- 4:46Speaker 1: just relax. But we're don't let Mary tell So I'm good. Listen,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I have nieces and nephews forever, and I'm always watching
- 4:56Speaker 1: how people or scramp, you know, scrambling around for babies. Said,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I don't want to go. I don't want to go
- 5:03Speaker 1: through that. I like my freedom. I like being able
- 5:05Speaker 1: to get up and go and move and do what
- 5:08Speaker 1: I want to do. I don't want to attend to
- 5:10Speaker 1: someone all the time, you know, right now, you know,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but I don't think it's gonna happen. You ain't wrong
- 5:19Speaker 1: with being a rich auntie. Ain't nothing wrong nieces and nephews.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It ain't nothing wrong with being around. I wish I
- 5:25Speaker 1: had one. What time for d He's my rich uncle
- 5:28Speaker 1: to my kids whatever they want. So I get it.
- 5:31Speaker 1: She said what she said, but it's what she said
- 5:33Speaker 1: right now. So if Mary ever changes her mind, she
- 5:36Speaker 1: just she just needs to adopt kids. At this point.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I mean, I think, and I'm one of those people
- 5:42Speaker 1: who probably like to have the kids and then get
- 5:44Speaker 1: them back. And that's that's good, Auntie, that's so great,
- 5:50Speaker 1: So it is time to go. I definitely understand that
- 5:52Speaker 1: I enjoyed my freedom. People definitely to stop pressuring women
- 5:55Speaker 1: about having babies, but that's for all. How do you
- 5:57Speaker 1: feel about motherhood? I don't have any children, and it's
- 6:01Speaker 1: not the fact that I don't want them. It's just
- 6:03Speaker 1: the fact that I feel like they don't want me.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And I'm fine with that. But I hate how other
- 6:07Speaker 1: people always want to place their views on you, like
- 6:10Speaker 1: you gotta be broken just because you don't have kids.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Just like I agree with that, nobody's running behind me
- 6:16Speaker 1: like I have. I'm thirty, I haven't had kids. Yet
- 6:18Speaker 1: and now I've gotten so effect where I don't care
- 6:21Speaker 1: for the damn kids. Some kids. Hey, that's friend. Do
- 6:23Speaker 1: you feel any pressure to have kids? Okay, yes, I'm
- 6:26Speaker 1: gonna rire I skid have a family like I have
- 6:29Speaker 1: pressure where I get my family and my friends and
- 6:31Speaker 1: everybody to come ask me like, where are you gonna
- 6:33Speaker 1: have kids? Like I want of those people, I don't
- 6:35Speaker 1: have kids, but I have t you're not ready and
- 6:39Speaker 1: that's okay. When I talked to I'd be a little selfish.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'd be like, damn, so I'm gonna be an old
- 6:43Speaker 1: ass uncle. I don't want to be the old ass
- 6:45Speaker 1: with Sue such a really good aunt towards my kids.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm over here, like, man, you would be a great mom. Okay,
- 6:50Speaker 1: one day I will be. So is it be something fun?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Speaking of children, Kiki Whytt just said as she was singing,
- 6:58Speaker 1: that her unborn out has leukemia, her unborn eleventh child.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So a lot of people feel like, you know, damn,
- 7:06Speaker 1: she doesn't have kids. Ten times before this, it should
- 7:08Speaker 1: be easy, smooth selling. She knows what to do. It's
- 7:11Speaker 1: not true. Every pregnancy is different, but she said that
- 7:14Speaker 1: all she could say was hallelujah. She is putting her
- 7:16Speaker 1: faith in the Lord, and that's the type of strength
- 7:19Speaker 1: that I can only admire to have Lord. Yeah, she
- 7:22Speaker 1: was very strong, and uh, you know sometimes in moments
- 7:25Speaker 1: like that, you know, we we surprise ourselves with how
- 7:29Speaker 1: we are. Um. You know, humans were very strong individuals
- 7:34Speaker 1: when put to the test. So um, definitely, prayers and
- 7:38Speaker 1: strength sent her way. That's to sen send her some love.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Since we're send in love. Can we talk about Michael Beasley? Yes, definitely.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Did you guys catch some of the pivot? Yeah? That
- 7:51Speaker 1: was that was a dope interview. Mental health is real.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Mental health is serious, and I think a lot of
- 7:55Speaker 1: young black men, um, and I think they're starting to
- 7:58Speaker 1: do it now since two thoy. I believe um, sorry,
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't quote me on that, but I believe now a
- 8:04Speaker 1: lot of young African American men before they get drafted,
- 8:08Speaker 1: or actually after they get drafted, they go through this
- 8:11Speaker 1: mental awareness where, um, you're speaking to professionals to teach
- 8:15Speaker 1: you how to uh deal with family budgeting, because as
- 8:20Speaker 1: soon as you get that money, when you're in the NBA,
- 8:22Speaker 1: everybody calls your phone, Hey I need this, mommy, Hey
- 8:26Speaker 1: I need that Dad. Hey, you got your cousins. Hey,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I need that. I know you got it, because that's
- 8:31Speaker 1: a very stressful thing. Like it was in the news
- 8:34Speaker 1: that the players from the Super Bowl were stressed out
- 8:37Speaker 1: before the game. Before the Super Bowl game because they
- 8:40Speaker 1: were trying to, uh make sure that their family was
- 8:43Speaker 1: taken care of. Everybody was asking sales all that that's
- 8:47Speaker 1: a big deal and a lot of people don't talk
- 8:48Speaker 1: about that, and he realized, man, ain't got it like that,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Like look at that dance documentary and how it came out.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Scott Pippens deal was terrible, and my a Jordan had
- 9:00Speaker 1: an awesome deal. And you know, the crazy thing about
- 9:03Speaker 1: a lot of people don't understand is, you know, I
- 9:05Speaker 1: got a lot of NBA friends, and you know, these
- 9:08Speaker 1: guys family members are are very very demanded, and you
- 9:13Speaker 1: gotta understand. It's like when you're growing up with somebody
- 9:15Speaker 1: and then you ended up becoming you know, the the
- 9:18Speaker 1: you know, the Golden Google or whatever per se. You know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: a lot of people expect like you know, and these
- 9:23Speaker 1: players they feel bad too, because they're like, man, this
- 9:25Speaker 1: is my family, Like I should be taking care of
- 9:28Speaker 1: them and I should be helping them. But you gotta
- 9:30Speaker 1: draw that line in the center. You know, still have
- 9:33Speaker 1: your own life, and you gotta prepare for after you're
- 9:36Speaker 1: not basketball. Yes, and I think a lot of athletes,
- 9:39Speaker 1: especially young black African American athletes, do not prepare And
- 9:44Speaker 1: I don't think we're taught that either. Hell no, it's
- 9:48Speaker 1: difficult and mental and it will affect your play or
- 9:50Speaker 1: faking mental health. And easily spoke on that and it
- 9:53Speaker 1: was deep. It was a wealth thought interview. No secret
- 9:57Speaker 1: that he is a really good athlete, like everyone knows,
- 10:01Speaker 1: he was amazing in his NBA career, but he did
- 10:03Speaker 1: suffer from several substance related to incidents, substance abuse, and
- 10:08Speaker 1: he just feels like he was asking for help and
- 10:11Speaker 1: nobody was giving him the help that he needed. You know.
- 10:13Speaker 1: He just felt like he made a really good point.
- 10:16Speaker 1: He said that when black men cry out, people laugh,
- 10:18Speaker 1: you know, like literally a black man could cry and
- 10:21Speaker 1: people will literally laugh at him, but you're not asking
- 10:24Speaker 1: why is he crying? Like what's wrong? Like can we
- 10:27Speaker 1: give him any more support? And Michael did a really
- 10:29Speaker 1: good job communicating that on this podcast. Sake right now,
- 10:36Speaker 1: it's like mother's only kid. When you when when it's
- 10:39Speaker 1: time for somebody to die, and the cameras to show
- 10:42Speaker 1: it is like, bro, mother is out here showing every
- 10:47Speaker 1: day that they need help. It's in the music and
- 10:51Speaker 1: we only listen to it. To this it's like, bro,
- 10:56Speaker 1: everybody out here need in help, and everybody will walking
- 11:00Speaker 1: around his mother like they got it all together. Everybody
- 11:05Speaker 1: everybody walking. And then the second time, like like like bro,
- 11:09Speaker 1: the white Howard cried on TV right, they called them
- 11:12Speaker 1: saw what he was going through on the side he
- 11:16Speaker 1: had to hold on to where he cried in front
- 11:18Speaker 1: of twenty million people. How about somebody asked that questions,
- 11:22Speaker 1: this is really sad. Honestly, I think we need to
- 11:24Speaker 1: do a better job at creating a safe community for
- 11:27Speaker 1: our talented black people to come invent. Like you, It's
- 11:32Speaker 1: okay for you to say you need help, and you
- 11:33Speaker 1: should get the help that you need. One time for
- 11:35Speaker 1: Ryan Clark too, I watched him on ESPN first Take
- 11:38Speaker 1: a Lot, and he's on ESPN as well. He's a
- 11:40Speaker 1: great announcer on television and he said a lot of
- 11:44Speaker 1: great points, especially when he was talking about African American
- 11:48Speaker 1: man having to deal with the burdens and the stresses
- 11:50Speaker 1: of coming into money very fast and things move so fast,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and then how it affects your your African American queen.
- 11:57Speaker 1: As black men, we are asked because of talent to
- 12:01Speaker 1: carry everybody. We are not made to carry everybody. Black
- 12:04Speaker 1: women are asked to carry everybody. They are not made
- 12:07Speaker 1: to carry everybody. So it takes a village. And at
- 12:11Speaker 1: some point you gotta have somebody who don't need from you,
- 12:14Speaker 1: who don't want from you, who want to see you win. Man,
- 12:17Speaker 1: like we don't. We don't do this for us. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: like like if you want to build these things, But
- 12:23Speaker 1: it's about these conversations, it's about bringing people on here
- 12:26Speaker 1: and letting them tell their story. When Freddie said, man,
- 12:29Speaker 1: you could tell your narrative. Tell that and I'll preach
- 12:32Speaker 1: it too. What we're saying is, man, don't give up,
- 12:35Speaker 1: and we won't give up. Kudos to these guys. And
- 12:38Speaker 1: it was a well thought out, um and in depth interview.
- 12:42Speaker 1: But I do want to get a little hood though.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Murder Mace is back er, so just for my for
- 12:50Speaker 1: my nineties and two thousands babies. He started off as
- 12:53Speaker 1: Murder Mace, then he went to Mace, then he went
- 12:57Speaker 1: to Pastor Mace right then he went back to murder Mas.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Then he just stopped doing music completely. That he's back
- 13:05Speaker 1: is murder Mas. And he going that did he loaded
- 13:09Speaker 1: another another option? You really worked? Yeah, like that, that's
- 13:22Speaker 1: a tune that's new. He don't need he don't need
- 13:27Speaker 1: to use that normal guys. Maybe it's just not master.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I think he said, did he glorifies celebrating artists after
- 13:40Speaker 1: they die. And then he said, you ain't. You ain't
- 13:43Speaker 1: give his mama what your man's work. She said, you
- 13:47Speaker 1: from Mount Vernon, nigga, go and wrap your own hood.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You not know architect. You just the nigga that know
- 13:53Speaker 1: how to market death. Go pay his mother what he
- 13:56Speaker 1: really works. Nigga. That's what he said. Damn, that's what
- 14:00Speaker 1: along the way, But that would have been harder on
- 14:02Speaker 1: a better beat though, the beat and the yeah, it's
- 14:14Speaker 1: very distracting, not the lyrics, but but yeah, yeah, I
- 14:19Speaker 1: don't think I've never heard unless Diddy was involved, I've
- 14:22Speaker 1: never heard Mace or did he because I meant this
- 14:25Speaker 1: song was crazy. I never heard really makes really have
- 14:28Speaker 1: a good beat selection. Some already suck at that. You
- 14:31Speaker 1: gotta stop stop. We're victims shaming now allegedly. Okay, Mace,
- 14:34Speaker 1: it feels like Mae is trying to tell us that
- 14:39Speaker 1: he is a victim. You guys, we're gonna pray for you, Mace,
- 14:42Speaker 1: or can you pray for yourself? Okay now? And people
- 14:48Speaker 1: have been talking about Diddy had been a little shady
- 14:50Speaker 1: for a long time. I don't know. I've never met him.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'd never work with him. But some people feel like
- 14:55Speaker 1: makes need to just let it go. They feel like
- 14:57Speaker 1: he's been coming at Diddy for a long time. Hey, hey, hey,
- 15:01Speaker 1: you keep the same age you said the songs whack.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not you got to get better songs.
- 15:05Speaker 1: But keep you get what you negotiate. Thank you, you
- 15:10Speaker 1: signed the contract. Let's move on to the next topic.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Keep signed the paperwords. There are other conversations and promises
- 15:17Speaker 1: made that we don't know the promises contract. It's another
- 15:20Speaker 1: example of there's another example of you coming from the
- 15:23Speaker 1: bottom and you broke and here comes a situation you
- 15:27Speaker 1: can start making immediate money. Read it all the way through.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's crazy how he's coming with this. And then you
- 15:32Speaker 1: know Freddy from the band he had something to say
- 15:34Speaker 1: about Diddy too. You ain't never had a talent in
- 15:36Speaker 1: your life. Man, somebody gave you an opportunity to open
- 15:39Speaker 1: and doing fine talent, fine talent. His recipe to me
- 15:43Speaker 1: as being signed it cold people with a story. If
- 15:47Speaker 1: you look over the history of all the arts he
- 15:50Speaker 1: just signed, could people with a story and get paid
- 15:52Speaker 1: off people's stories because you're not from that, You're not
- 15:56Speaker 1: from the hood. You can't tell these story. You didn't
- 15:58Speaker 1: come up like we came. You ain't even ever had
- 16:01Speaker 1: no talent. You've got nine hundred million dollars from standing
- 16:04Speaker 1: on people back in the sporting people. Look how Black
- 16:07Speaker 1: Rob died, g depth of Dell done, how to go
- 16:09Speaker 1: out of town, look amaze. His whole recipe is this
- 16:12Speaker 1: sign people with the story. I'm gonna get paid off
- 16:14Speaker 1: on him and send them back to the hood and
- 16:17Speaker 1: find the next one. So when I see your son
- 16:19Speaker 1: buying cards and all this ship and all this laughing
- 16:21Speaker 1: boofy ship, I'm offended. I'm offended he's spending my money
- 16:25Speaker 1: somewhere enough and your niggas is walking past me. I
- 16:27Speaker 1: will care you because about my son. I don't play
- 16:30Speaker 1: like that. We went through more hazing than anybody. We've
- 16:33Speaker 1: done everything we're supposed to do, and we did it
- 16:35Speaker 1: the right way. My whole group mouth quiet. They they
- 16:37Speaker 1: know they've been getting fun. They know they they know it.
- 16:41Speaker 1: They noticed they ain't ship. But everybody keep a mouth
- 16:44Speaker 1: quirt out of your spend. Why why you care about
- 16:46Speaker 1: somebody who donna give a funk about you. It's been
- 16:48Speaker 1: twenty years man showing me he don't care about me
- 16:50Speaker 1: on my kids? Man, why should I care about this movie?
- 16:52Speaker 1: You get what I'm saying that I'm already did what
- 16:54Speaker 1: you're gonna do to me. I'm in a straight bro.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You made me hate like so much that when you
- 16:58Speaker 1: get to a point where you don't, you're But did
- 17:01Speaker 1: he don't care? He got all the publishing solves. Yes.
- 17:04Speaker 1: When he was on TV on making the band, nobody
- 17:08Speaker 1: was complaining then because they thought that they had a
- 17:11Speaker 1: solid thing. They thought they were that brother, Love Love
- 17:16Speaker 1: You noticed this is becoming a cycle artist. Get on.
- 17:19Speaker 1: They started making a lot of money. They all on TV.
- 17:21Speaker 1: It's smart, they learned, They educate themselves, and then they say, damn,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I was fucked. At the end of the day, man,
- 17:28Speaker 1: y'all read you actually trying because a lot of them
- 17:31Speaker 1: don't know. They learned and then they say, oh, I
- 17:36Speaker 1: was supposed to get away, but that's what got it,
- 17:42Speaker 1: did you. A lot of these artists say they don't
- 17:43Speaker 1: even read the contract. You see a lot of artists
- 17:45Speaker 1: that they educate themselves after the facts. Education. Read that contract,
- 17:54Speaker 1: get a lawyer, read that contract before you sign it,
- 17:57Speaker 1: Like you gotta understand that people do shady business or
- 18:00Speaker 1: they do what they can get away with. And if
- 18:02Speaker 1: you sign without reading ship Speaking of that, everybody, I
- 18:05Speaker 1: encouraged to go watch the Steve Harvey interview with Earn
- 18:09Speaker 1: your Legions to watch. He talks about, you know, his
- 18:12Speaker 1: trials and errors to become who he is right now,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and he's not who he wants to be, but he's
- 18:18Speaker 1: on his way there. And he talks about him not
- 18:21Speaker 1: um owning his ip early on. Hollywood is the land
- 18:25Speaker 1: of illusion. Most of us man are not making what
- 18:30Speaker 1: y'all think we're making. We're just not man because we're
- 18:34Speaker 1: in that system. See I didn't get I wasn't a
- 18:37Speaker 1: business man when Steve Harvey show was ot just happy
- 18:40Speaker 1: to be on TV. You know, I just took my
- 18:42Speaker 1: check and went out and said I on twelve percent
- 18:44Speaker 1: of the show back in but I learned real quick.
- 18:47Speaker 1: In Hollywood, you never see back in. They got a
- 18:50Speaker 1: different type of rhythmetic. It's like the music industry. The
- 18:54Speaker 1: only people that you make true back in with his
- 18:56Speaker 1: book people. Book people are the most honest people I've
- 19:00Speaker 1: ever done business with. Books. They're honest. Music and TV.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You're not gonna get no back in partner, how man,
- 19:10Speaker 1: by the time they get through doing their arithmetic. I
- 19:12Speaker 1: ain't made back in on none of my shows ever.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I just it's just crazy, man. So I started figuring
- 19:19Speaker 1: that out. I went, Okay, you know, my business with
- 19:23Speaker 1: freemant On, which is one of the best companies I've
- 19:25Speaker 1: ever dealt with. They're very honest and forth right. But
- 19:27Speaker 1: when I signed a deal to do Family Feud, you know, look, man,
- 19:31Speaker 1: Family Feud was a twenty year franchise and they had
- 19:34Speaker 1: ownership and they couldn't get you know, I was going
- 19:37Speaker 1: through tax problems back there. I just wanted to check,
- 19:40Speaker 1: so I took the check. Over the years, I still
- 19:44Speaker 1: couldn't get ownership. But since I can't get ownership, I'll
- 19:47Speaker 1: tell you what, though, I'll tell you what. I might
- 19:50Speaker 1: not have ownership, but you're gonna feel like I'm born
- 19:52Speaker 1: and so we've we've negotiated really nicely with them, I mean,
- 19:56Speaker 1: the longest running hosts and he's real the show and
- 20:00Speaker 1: it's the number one syndicated show on Earth. So like that,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I think, you know, just to Art's point, it's kind
- 20:07Speaker 1: of like, you know, learn, but then go harder to
- 20:10Speaker 1: make it better. Yeah, it's a very bad, uh space
- 20:14Speaker 1: to be in when you realize you was funed. But
- 20:16Speaker 1: is it an unfair expectation that somebody would do good
- 20:20Speaker 1: business with you? Like? Is that unfair? There's no such
- 20:23Speaker 1: thing as good business when you entertainment business. I believe
- 20:25Speaker 1: you get what you negotiate. I believe that, But I
- 20:28Speaker 1: also understand. I understand how it's easy to get a
- 20:32Speaker 1: young artist into signing anything because they're impressionable, they're young.
- 20:38Speaker 1: What you noticed, artists only complain when they're not hot,
- 20:40Speaker 1: No more, that's not all the way true. I think
- 20:43Speaker 1: artists complain when the money slows down. That's when they
- 20:46Speaker 1: ain't hot. And then they start saying that's when they
- 20:49Speaker 1: ain't They're like, okay, that's where they go. Look at
- 20:53Speaker 1: the contract too. They also say there we go. They
- 20:57Speaker 1: started saying, wait a minute, and then guess what they
- 20:59Speaker 1: do what they should have did in the first place.
- 21:01Speaker 1: They read the country. You are in position to sign people, right.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Are you one of those people who's like, you know what,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna do shady business just because I can't, just
- 21:11Speaker 1: because I know these niggas not gonna real nothing. I'm
- 21:14Speaker 1: just asking you and sometimes not even shady. It's just
- 21:16Speaker 1: business in your best interest. No, I'm not. I don't
- 21:19Speaker 1: do that. I don't and I actually I managed six
- 21:21Speaker 1: producers and I have open contracts. If I don't deliver
- 21:24Speaker 1: and you want to leave, I don't want nothing from me.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You'll be right back with more of the Bailer Alert Show.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Still listening to a special edition of The Bailler Alert,
- 21:35Speaker 1: a special cloth Alert. Hey best friends, it's your favorite
- 21:39Speaker 1: best in your original The Biggest I think a lot
- 21:41Speaker 1: of you people know her as a fashionista, a social light,
- 21:46Speaker 1: someone who just does what she does. But I'm a
- 21:48Speaker 1: little confused because I don't know if I should call
- 21:50Speaker 1: Eugerika or Carla. I don't know it's Carla. Is this
- 21:55Speaker 1: the artist name? Is this you stepping into the artist persona? Now,
- 22:01Speaker 1: before we get into it, can you please tell us
- 22:03Speaker 1: what is the biggest misconception of miss Carl. I would
- 22:06Speaker 1: say that I didn't have my own platform and brand
- 22:09Speaker 1: before my viral relationship that a lot of people knew.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Definitely was a businesswoman way before UM working hard to
- 22:18Speaker 1: branding master for several companies. UM. I went to school
- 22:22Speaker 1: for fashion marketing for a little bit. Um I had
- 22:24Speaker 1: an internship with PR just different things. I really got
- 22:27Speaker 1: my feet with, you know, and like way before I
- 22:30Speaker 1: was like get my own bread and you know, hustlings
- 22:33Speaker 1: like I've been making moves. Now for those of them
- 22:37Speaker 1: who don't know, she's talking about young though, Okay, if
- 22:40Speaker 1: you don't know, you don't know. But the reality is,
- 22:42Speaker 1: it's unfortunate that a lot of women who date celebrity
- 22:45Speaker 1: men or men with status tend to kind of be
- 22:49Speaker 1: looked at like they don't have nothing, they're not driven,
- 22:51Speaker 1: they're not motivated. But here you are just dropping all
- 22:54Speaker 1: the facts of everything that you do and we'll continue
- 22:56Speaker 1: to do. Now, let's talk about this music. Did it
- 22:59Speaker 1: come Let feel where did it come from? Where you
- 23:01Speaker 1: inspired because of your previous relationship where you already into music. Yes, so, UM,
- 23:06Speaker 1: music kind of was like in my history with my
- 23:08Speaker 1: family and stuff, my mom was in the entertainment UM business,
- 23:12Speaker 1: and I kind of like was always around it. They
- 23:15Speaker 1: did like party promotions and stuff. So I was always
- 23:17Speaker 1: like around different artists, but more so coming up amongst
- 23:20Speaker 1: you know, the label on with Wire. Still I kind
- 23:23Speaker 1: of feel like I just like watched them a lot.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I didn't even know I was like really retaining so
- 23:28Speaker 1: much like about like knowledge about doing music. But I
- 23:32Speaker 1: was the whole time. So but I was writing like
- 23:34Speaker 1: poetry and stuff. I was just like always writing my phone.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I noticed like UM poems. I really didn't know how
- 23:39Speaker 1: to like put a song together. And I went in
- 23:41Speaker 1: the studio on some like I was like, I want
- 23:45Speaker 1: to make a girl version to UM this song that
- 23:48Speaker 1: the boys made it was Relationships with the Future, but
- 23:51Speaker 1: I was like, I just want to making me and
- 23:52Speaker 1: my girls, like I want to make a song for
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know, the lady. And from there everybody was like,
- 23:57Speaker 1: you actually sound good, and I up going with it
- 24:01Speaker 1: and like I feel like it. I don't know it
- 24:03Speaker 1: bruing like a different beast out of me. I love
- 24:04Speaker 1: being an artist. I didn't even know like this would
- 24:06Speaker 1: be my I would ever take it serious, but I
- 24:09Speaker 1: love it so much I could give me a space
- 24:12Speaker 1: to you know, just really like talk about what I'm
- 24:15Speaker 1: going through, to just put on like my diva persona.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I love it. So did you use poetry as like
- 24:20Speaker 1: an outlet for your feelings growing up? How did you
- 24:23Speaker 1: get into writing poetry? So I just would honestly, I
- 24:26Speaker 1: can't like I used it just to write like how
- 24:28Speaker 1: I feel or like if I'm popping my issue you
- 24:32Speaker 1: break up or whatever? You right, how about how you
- 24:35Speaker 1: feel about your boots stuff like that. You know, I
- 24:37Speaker 1: don't think a lot of people expected for you to
- 24:40Speaker 1: take your crap so seriously, and I even think that
- 24:42Speaker 1: there are still more people that don't know anything about
- 24:45Speaker 1: your music side. So how do we get them to
- 24:48Speaker 1: refocus on you rebranding? Um, I would say tap into
- 24:54Speaker 1: my socials for one. On Instagram is at okay Carl
- 24:58Speaker 1: okay a y k A r l A e UM
- 25:02Speaker 1: the same handle on Twitter. I'll be on their like
- 25:05Speaker 1: to have a little debate about stuff, and you know,
- 25:09Speaker 1: pop my age and don't come in just assuming that
- 25:12Speaker 1: she's going to sound a certain way because of the
- 25:15Speaker 1: people she may have been around that might not necessarily
- 25:17Speaker 1: be your style. So just come in with an open
- 25:20Speaker 1: mind and give Carlis a fair chance. So you've worked
- 25:23Speaker 1: with cor Lore, Bad Bad Baby, Gonna Rich the Kid,
- 25:27Speaker 1: who else, Um, Young Scooter and lot of we did
- 25:30Speaker 1: a song altogether, big lot of Um who Else? Of course,
- 25:35Speaker 1: the of course stuck. So you guys are still very cordial.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah it's healthy. Yeah, no, like, yeah, we have a
- 25:41Speaker 1: great relationship. Actually we were talking to the interns earlier
- 25:45Speaker 1: and a couple of them are not in a space
- 25:47Speaker 1: where you are where you could be friends with your
- 25:49Speaker 1: egg or you could be okay with some with maybe
- 25:51Speaker 1: your current person being cool with their eggs. Does that
- 25:55Speaker 1: take a certain level of security trust? I think it
- 25:58Speaker 1: takes a certain level of secure already and just kind
- 26:00Speaker 1: of like um maturity and then also just like confidence
- 26:04Speaker 1: because I feel like, I mean, I know, like my
- 26:07Speaker 1: impact and I feel like me and thug like for
- 26:10Speaker 1: ours like the music culture. I feel like we we
- 26:13Speaker 1: had a big imprint on it, Like our relationship was
- 26:16Speaker 1: I see people all the time like we do the
- 26:18Speaker 1: same photos of people like bro y'all was that that couple.
- 26:22Speaker 1: So I felt like it would just be kind of
- 26:24Speaker 1: crazy just to you know, be at os and stuff.
- 26:26Speaker 1: But first we go through what we go through. We
- 26:28Speaker 1: was in the public out for a long time because
- 26:30Speaker 1: we was like so young in the relationship. That was
- 26:33Speaker 1: kind of like, I want to say that downside of things.
- 26:35Speaker 1: But you know, so we might have like been ups
- 26:37Speaker 1: and downs, but like I feel like we've grown now. Yeah,
- 26:40Speaker 1: young and in the public eye. I mean, that's not normal,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you know what I mean. So I don't think anybody
- 26:44Speaker 1: could really just nobody knows how to deal with that
- 26:46Speaker 1: even when you're in it. So and that's just what
- 26:48Speaker 1: it is. Friends, Please tell everybody to get the album.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Let them know to listen to the project after the
- 26:53Speaker 1: video dropped today. My video dropped today as well. Log
- 26:57Speaker 1: onto my youthtube. Okay, Carl okay, y k A r
- 27:01Speaker 1: A E all my socials check it out blind featuring

- 27:19Speaker 1: baller now. This one's good, y'all. Dear ball Alert, Dear Rory.
- 27:28Speaker 1: My daughter hates when I pick her up from school.
- 27:30Speaker 1: She says, the boys pick on her at school, saying
- 27:33Speaker 1: your mama find it and it's literally a crowding on
- 27:37Speaker 1: boys waiting every day for me to pick her up. Now,
- 27:40Speaker 1: I told my daughter how would she get home? She
- 27:43Speaker 1: says she's willing to catch the bus on so that
- 27:45Speaker 1: people will stop talking about me at her school. I
- 27:48Speaker 1: can't believe my child stopped would stop getting picked up
- 27:51Speaker 1: and ride the damn bus just so she won't get
- 27:54Speaker 1: picked on anymore. It's not like they're saying I'm ugly.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I mean, come on, now, what should I do? UM?
- 28:04Speaker 1: I mean, your mama fine, you can't help your mama
- 28:07Speaker 1: being fine. That's that's all I'm gonna say. So you
- 28:11Speaker 1: gotta do better than that. BC don't, okay, mama, Mama,
- 28:15Speaker 1: I don't have children, so please do not take this
- 28:17Speaker 1: as me telling you what to do with your child.
- 28:18Speaker 1: But I do think that you're gonna have to talk
- 28:20Speaker 1: to your child a lot and let her know that Listen,
- 28:25Speaker 1: it is not your fault or her fault that you're fine,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and it's not your fault or her fault that the
- 28:29Speaker 1: little boys don't know how to act. You continue to
- 28:32Speaker 1: be the beautiful goddess that you are and continue to
- 28:35Speaker 1: raise a beautiful goddess. I don't know what you're wearing, mama,
- 28:41Speaker 1: But you know, I hope you're wearing something you know
- 28:43Speaker 1: that is school work. Come on, now, you know she
- 28:47Speaker 1: ain't just sitting in that car. There them kids lined
- 28:50Speaker 1: up to see mama. She ain't just sitting in the car,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I miss Parker, Um. But yeah, I hope that you know,
- 28:57Speaker 1: you might just need to dress down, just wear some
- 28:59Speaker 1: sweats or something. That's so messed up, y'all. Boys don't
- 29:02Speaker 1: be knowing how to afkter. Y'all tell us now, I
- 29:05Speaker 1: don't forget that. Where would you want to wear? I'm sorry,
- 29:08Speaker 1: y'all tell the women to modify this, to modify that,
- 29:11Speaker 1: because you don't know how to damn act. No, put
- 29:13Speaker 1: some usher instrumentals on right now. No, apparently more mama
- 29:18Speaker 1: come to pick you up. She get out and walk
- 29:20Speaker 1: around the side to the car and just saying that's
- 29:22Speaker 1: what your name, and then you probably walk over there
- 29:24Speaker 1: and get you know them little boys. Is now I'm
- 29:26Speaker 1: gonna tell your story. It was this girl. Her name
- 29:29Speaker 1: was Carla Stanley. Her mama will find him too, and
- 29:32Speaker 1: me and the football players used to wait all the
- 29:35Speaker 1: time for her mama to come and pick her up
- 29:38Speaker 1: from school. So I actually understand, and I will always
- 29:41Speaker 1: say to Carla, your mama find this hell, what time
- 29:44Speaker 1: is she coming? Never mind? Already know? So I'm just
- 29:47Speaker 1: letting you know. This ain't gonna stop, Mama unless you stop.
- 29:51Speaker 1: So you either gonna stop picking up from school and saying, daddy,
- 29:55Speaker 1: what the hell daddy that, let's daddy pick up from school?
- 29:58Speaker 1: I bet you the boys ain't gonna be waiting outside.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Did you did what I'm saying? So since you want
- 30:02Speaker 1: to bring your fine at up to the school and
- 30:04Speaker 1: probably put on your little tighter tight tight tights, probably
- 30:07Speaker 1: got a little short showing your little cab muscle. You
- 30:09Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You probably got your hair. Did
- 30:11Speaker 1: I know you ain't going in there with a bonnet on?
- 30:13Speaker 1: You a dressed it all the way up like none
- 30:16Speaker 1: of those things. You ain't looking like? That is she
- 30:21Speaker 1: wants to wear back? Come back? She could wear what
- 30:24Speaker 1: she wanted to wear. But yeah, I bet you, I
- 30:27Speaker 1: bet you got a big old But don't get that.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Then you get out on the side of the car,
- 30:30Speaker 1: put your little hip a little body on the back
- 30:32Speaker 1: bump or of the car. So right what you tell
- 30:34Speaker 1: her she needs to tone it? It ain't gonna stop.
- 30:36Speaker 1: So tell your daughter listen, I can't I can't help you.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You want to catch the box, Ain't nothing you can do.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And I think you like it too. I think you
- 30:46Speaker 1: like that little at the school. You find it fine.
- 30:50Speaker 1: And if you felt some type of where the hell
- 30:52Speaker 1: is dada at? Where that at? Where the little boy daddy?
- 30:56Speaker 1: Somehow to respect women, little boys and just saying, hey,
- 31:00Speaker 1: they're alert US fans. They're fans, they're probably fold on Instagram.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Mm hm hmmm mmmm. This's damn shame. This ain't gonna stop.
