That's a great topic for today. Let's talk about 'at the lake' in Swedish. Luna: Yes! So first, how do we say 'we're going to the lake'? Lucas: Vi åker till sjön. Vi åker till sjön. Say it with me, Luna. Luna: Vi åker till sjön. Lucas: Exactly. 'Vi' means 'we', 'åker' means 'go' or 'travel', and 'till sjön' is 'to the lake'. So, Vi åker till sjön. Luna: Vi åker till sjön. That's good. Now, when we get there, I want to swim. How do I say 'I want to swim'? Lucas: Jag vill bada. 'Bada' is the verb for 'to bathe' or 'to swim' in a lake. So, Jag vill bada. Luna: Jag vill bada. Perfect. And what about having a picnic? 'Can we eat a picnic?' Lucas: Kan vi äta picknick? 'Picknick' is the same in Swedish. So, Kan vi äta picknick? Luna: Kan vi äta picknick? Luna: Vattnet är varmt. I hope that's true. Oh, and one more thing — sunscreen. 'Do you have sunscreen?' Lucas: Har du solkräm? 'Solkräm' is sunscreen. Har du solkräm? Luna: Har du solkräm? That's essential. Okay, can we put these together in a little scene? Lucas: Sure. Imagine we're at the lake. I say, Vi åker till sjön. Luna: Jag vill bada. Lucas: Kan vi äta picknick? Luna: Ja!
