Transcript
- 0:00Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Three O Take where we talk
- 0:04all things Major League Baseball.
- 0:06Here's Kyle Corwin and Nate Reyes.
- 0:10It all starts right now. Oh, welcome back to the Three O
- 0:16Take presented by Chinook. Cedry, this is episode 563.
- 0:21I'll be your host, Kyle Cord. I'm here with my Co host Nate
- 0:24Reyes. Nate.
- 0:30KC How are we? So we do this thing now.
- 0:37We've started this thing probably the last few weeks for
- 0:41right before we hop on. There's like an undetermined
- 0:45amount of time before the countdown begins before the
- 0:49intro video hits and whoever jumps in first with the random
- 0:53topic. Categories.
- 0:57Random category, you just got to you got to alternate and the
- 1:00last person, it's sort of like hot potato.
- 1:02Last person to say something wins.
- 1:05So I jumped in with Jimmy John's.
- 1:08You followed up immediately with Jersey Mike's, but you before
- 1:11that, trying to beat me, had thrown out Food Lion.
- 1:16I thought I'd get you with a grocery store on in your
- 1:20territory. Exactly.
- 1:22Well, you know. I beat you to it, but my mind
- 1:26immediately shifted to grocery stores.
- 1:28So you said you said Jersey Mike's and I was about to say
- 1:33Giant Foods. Crazy.
- 1:37Is food? Are food lines still around?
- 1:39Oh yeah, still still kicking, huh?
- 1:42Yeah, we have normal grocery. Stores out here, I don't know, I
- 1:45hear all the time about people out West, up north.
- 1:48Yeah, we got freaking Billy Bob's and baked beans.
- 1:52I don't know, I'm pretty jealous.
- 1:54I hear Publix is like the one. Oh yeah, Publix is strong.
- 1:58I've been to it in where was I think Florida and I was like,
- 2:04this is nice. I didn't get any food, but it
- 2:06was like it was a nice grocery store.
- 2:07But I hear you can just get like ridiculous sandwiches there.
- 2:11It's very good. That's our go.
- 2:13To when we go down to North Myrtle with Meredith's family,
- 2:16every year that's hot is legit. We're just Trader Joe's people
- 2:21out here. Trader Joe's is good.
- 2:24Yeah, we got those out here as well.
- 2:26Kind of a kind of a girl place. Yeah, it's kind of a, it's kind
- 2:31of a chick grocery store. I don't like going there to
- 2:35balance with you. It's stressful.
- 2:37It's like 7 aisles. Did you know?
- 2:40Did you know that the cashiers there are obligated to make a
- 2:44comment or ask you a question about either your purchase or
- 2:47your day? I feel like they went to like
- 2:50the Chick-fil-A customer service school.
- 2:52Yeah, yeah, yeah. Any who's you have to like
- 2:58comment on something that you bought.
- 3:00Yeah. Yeah.
- 3:03Yeah, let's talk about enough about grocery stores.
- 3:05Although I I mean, I could, I enjoy grocery stores actually.
- 3:09But let's talk. Let's talk baseball.
- 3:11That's something up noted for the offseason.
- 3:16Add it to the list. Another thing I enjoy baseball.
- 3:20I'm excited to talk about this Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh debate.
- 3:25It's been about, I think two months since we last really dove
- 3:29into this topic. It's something I know in
- 3:32particular that's very near and dear to your heart, something
- 3:35you feel rather strongly about. And I'm here to tell you that I
- 3:39feel like I have a, a renewed perspective on the matter after
- 3:44doing a, a healthy amount of research, research.
- 3:51I I'm curious to see if your thoughts have changed at all,
- 3:59but I'm either way, I'm, I'm very much looking forward to
- 4:04diving into this debate with you.
- 4:05So let's just get into it. We're we're about a month out, I
- 4:10believe the last regular season game.
- 4:13Let me check here. I checked today the Mariners
- 4:16last game. I don't know when the Yankees
- 4:18last game is. I just immediately I thought to
- 4:21check the Mariners last game assuming it'd be like right
- 4:24around the same day if not the same day.
- 4:26Last game is on September 28th. So we are quite literally a
- 4:31month and like a day out. So 30 plus days to to decide
- 4:39this. Some have already said it's
- 4:42decided. Yanks have 29 games left.
- 4:48Seattle has 28 games left. They would, they would.
- 4:55Every team would close out the the 28th.
- 4:58Now that I think about it, that's Sunday.
- 5:01Yeah, yeah. I'm just saying like how they're
- 5:03lined up right now. Oh no, no, sorry.
- 5:05I was more so that was more of me talking to myself in response
- 5:10to what I said. But let's let's get into it
- 5:15because like I said, a renewed perspective.
- 5:17I told you right before I hopped on, I feel like I learned a
- 5:21little bit about Cal Raleigh's defense today because I feel
- 5:25like Cal's Cal Raleigh's defense is what has been a driving force
- 5:31for the pro Cal Raleigh crowd. Sure, and I'm here to break some
- 5:35hearts. Oh.
- 5:37But before we get into the the numbers and all that, let me
- 5:41flip it to you. Has you have your thoughts on
- 5:45the matter changed at all? Are you still strongly planted,
- 5:51as strongly planted in your stance on Aaron Judge as you
- 5:54were when we last checked in two months ago?
- 6:03This there's been, there's been a little scuffle, there's been a
- 6:06little just a hair, you know what I mean?
- 6:12Average is down to 323. I think when we were talking, it
- 6:15was like in the 340 range last we brought this up.
- 6:22I mean, there's still a big difference.
- 6:24Like, no disrespect, but you know, Cal Rally's 244, Like I
- 6:31understand us falling in love with the home run totals.
- 6:35I think it'd be one thing if there was like a 15 home run
- 6:41differential kind of thing. It's just not that big of a
- 6:45difference. 9 is, I'm not saying 9 is like anything to shrug at,
- 6:49but like is 9 home run is a nine home run lead enough to just
- 6:59look at the large enough gaps with the literally every other
- 7:02category judges dominating in every other category.
- 7:10And, and this is what I mentioned in like the last
- 7:12argument is I I think us as a society just kind of get like
- 7:19kind of numb to success, like numb to the greats in a way.
- 7:28And it like we counted against them in a way.
- 7:31It's strange, It's a strange argument.
- 7:33I love look like I I I don't think there's anything wrong
- 7:36with having this debate. I love that Cal Raleigh is like
- 7:38found success this year. I love that we're seeing a
- 7:41catcher with crazy pop like in the days that we grew up with
- 7:45like I'm I'm glad it's back, but it judges dominating in every
- 7:53other category. I just don't understand how it's
- 7:57just home runs and then to get into what you're about to get
- 8:00into. It's been the difference of
- 8:03defense in the in the edge to Cal Raleigh in the defense
- 8:08category. Here's a question I don't feel
- 8:12like I've actually considered until just now.
- 8:15Is there an Aaron Judge fatigue? I think there is, I I mean it
- 8:22not. And not to mention there's
- 8:24enough anti Yankee bias that goes into this too.
- 8:31There's no anti Mariner bias. No, no, no, no more I.
- 8:35It's a more isolated question, less about the debate between
- 8:39these two and more just like, is there, is there an Aaron Judge
- 8:43fatigue that plays into this? Because it's to me as great as
- 8:47Aaron Judges, as great as the cover, like as as extensive as
- 8:52the coverages surrounding Aaron Judge.
- 8:55I I don't know that it rivals. I mean, it's probably presumably
- 9:02next in line, but I just, I just don't know if it's at the level
- 9:06of the fatigue that I feel like many baseball fans feel when it
- 9:10comes to Shohei Otani. So it's like, I don't going back
- 9:15to your point earlier about like the are, are people just, you
- 9:18know, sort of becoming numb to it or they're becoming tired of
- 9:20it. I I feel like what Judge is
- 9:24doing is impressive and in US weird way almost lacks the the
- 9:31amount of discussion that his his output warrants in a way.
- 9:37You're saying we're not talking about it enough?
- 9:41Yeah, like that, that which is why I asked, which is why I
- 9:44asked about like the the fatigue.
- 9:45Because I think that's why the fatigue is there is because
- 9:48we're we're we're not sitting here recognizing the fact that
- 9:51like he's now trans, like transcended the power hitter
- 9:57conversation only like now we're talking about becoming a
- 10:01complete hitter and doing it and just doing it and getting better
- 10:07that 3334 years old. Like he's like developing into
- 10:14something even better than what we initially appreciated about
- 10:17him. Like it's, I don't know, I, I
- 10:24don't know if, if it's, I think it is fatigue in a way.
- 10:28I think it is a multitude of things.
- 10:30I think it's anti Yankee bias, which is going to play a factor,
- 10:36especially when you have a mariner, you have an underdog,
- 10:39you have a, you know, East Coast, West Coast conversation.
- 10:43Like there's, I think there's a lot of factors into why, at
- 10:48least social media wise, it seems to me that a lot of people
- 10:53are giving the edge to Cal Raleigh.
- 10:56I would agree. But I don't understand how we're
- 11:00just not recognizing the fact that Aaron Judge is like
- 11:05creeping into greatest right-handed hitter of all time
- 11:08conversation. Which is surreal to say, but I
- 11:14mean, it's, it's, it's a conversation that needs to be
- 11:17had. But you bring you, you bring up
- 11:19a point about the, we'll just say the public perception, at
- 11:23least on social media, because that's where we that's where we
- 11:26spend a lot of our time. It's where we're getting a lot
- 11:28of our feedback, a lot of our information.
- 11:32I would agree with you. I think I think I've seen a lot
- 11:34of a lot of pro rally discourse and I think a lot of it, as I
- 11:43said, comes down to the fact that he's a catcher, the fact
- 11:46that he he does what he does for that staff.
- 11:52But I do take issue with the fact and I'll be honest with
- 11:58you, I feel like I've maybe fell victim to it last time we talked
- 12:00about this of well, he's he does it as a platinum glove level.
- 12:05Like I said, I'm here to break some hearts.
- 12:08I don't know who has has maybe sort of dug into some of the
- 12:14numbers for Cal Reilly this year is not is not performing
- 12:19defensively at the caliber that he was last year when he won the
- 12:22the Platinum Glove, is not performing at that level.
- 12:27In fact, in fact, it has regressed.
- 12:31Well, I'm glad you asked. I had to take a lot of notes
- 12:34because there's a lot of these metrics that I just don't still,
- 12:38I don't fully understand, but I just needed to bring it to the
- 12:43table to demonstrate that we can't just we can't just have
- 12:48these sweeping generalizations of like, oh, Cal Raleigh's a
- 12:51Platinum Glove. I saw a tweet today that was and
- 12:54it said Cal Raleigh's 2024 Platinum Gold or Platinum Glove
- 13:01is about as relevant to the 2025 ALMVP conversation as Anthony
- 13:07Volpe's Gold Glove that he won. It's like not relevant and I
- 13:12have to agree. Like we're we're trying to
- 13:14determine who the MVP this season is.
- 13:17And unfortunately the fact that Cal Raleigh has regressed
- 13:20defensively, that has to play into it.
- 13:22His Platinum glove from last year is irrelevant.
- 13:26I hate to say it. However, on the flip side, I'm
- 13:33seeing a lot of conversation about Cal Riley's defense being
- 13:37below league average, which that's that's statistically not
- 13:41true. And the same goes for Judge
- 13:43honestly, which was another point I wanted to bring up.
- 13:46The real look, the reality. He's excellent in right field.
- 13:50I don't think people give him credit for the size.
- 13:53I'm not saying he's above average, but I think for the
- 13:56size and what we expect him to be and I think how much center
- 14:03field kind of hurt that conversation, I will chalk it up
- 14:08as excellent continue. I was just going to say the
- 14:13reality of it is, is that neither in the year 2025 is an
- 14:21elite defender. Are they both above average?
- 14:25Yes. Are they below league average?
- 14:29Like many people are trying to take stabs at the other side of
- 14:33the the argument? No.
- 14:39So with that said, I'm not going to say it's a wash because it,
- 14:42it's, it's very realistically, it's hard to, it's, it's hard to
- 14:48draw comparisons between the catching position and A and a
- 14:51right fielder position, especially when it, when the,
- 14:55the fact of the matter is that a lot of these advanced metrics
- 14:58have to account for adjustments in the difficulty position and,
- 15:03and the workload and all that that goes into that.
- 15:06With that said, it leaves you with what they're doing
- 15:11offensively and to your point, Judges very much taking it home
- 15:20at the current moment offensively.
- 15:25Yeah, every category except home runs is.
- 15:37I mean, do you want to run through them real quick for
- 15:38people that don't have you? You read off Cal Raleigh, I'll
- 15:42read off Judge. You're going on anybody that
- 15:45you're going on Baseball Reference.
- 15:46Though I'm on ESPN, I'm on ESPN so it's updated all.
- 15:55Right, Let's see what we got here.
- 16:02Go ahead. Where you want to start?
- 16:07Start simple. Well, start hits.
- 16:11Yeah, go ahead. Cal Raleigh 120 And now mind
- 16:16you, Cal Raleigh has played 131 games, which I believe is close
- 16:22to what Judge has put up. Even 123.
- 16:25Yeah, even having missed missed time, which in Cal's defense,
- 16:32has played in every game this season.
- 16:34Correct. Just a matter of.
- 16:36Which is very impressive, Very impressive.
- 16:39Just a matter of the catcher DHT which judge also there's a lot
- 16:43of similarities between the two. Just despite like I said, you
- 16:46can't, you can't necessarily draw comparisons between the
- 16:48catcher position to right field. But in terms of splitting time a
- 16:51little bit, they're, they're we'll, we'll say they're guilty
- 16:54of both. Yeah, 123 games for judge runs.
- 17:0387A. 104 hits. You mentioned 120.
- 17:08What? I hate the run score tally, but
- 17:12point taken. Which category?
- 17:15Hits a. 120 a. 144 double S. 19. 27 triples, 02 home runs, 5041
- 17:29RB is. 107. 95 walks. 77. I lost you say that again, 7791.
- 17:44Which can we just, can we pause right there?
- 17:46Walks. I I believe since Judge came off
- 17:51the IL, which I believe I believe was June 5th, he's
- 17:55hitting 217 with just four homers and 10 ribbies since
- 17:58August 5th. Or I'm sorry, did I just say
- 18:00August 5th? August 5th, Yeah.
- 18:03You said June 5th first time, but yeah, yeah.
- 18:05Yeah, sorry, August 5th you can I think we can account or we can
- 18:11attribute his on base during that span to really tallying
- 18:16some walks there because. For sure walks.
- 18:19The OPS is still in like the mid eights, but the average, like I
- 18:22said, he's only hitting 217, so yeah.
- 18:25For sure walks playing a factor but no one's working around him.
- 18:31He's not really getting intentionally walked the way he
- 18:33was pre injury. Continue strikeouts. 156. 141
- 18:44the whole oh, Aaron Judge strikes out a million times.
- 18:47OK, stolen bases, it's given. Let's give an edge here.
- 18:54A career high 14 for big. Impressive 8 for for judge.
- 19:01All right, let's get into the fun ones.
- 19:02The big ones, batting average. Some people still care about it.
- 19:06240-4323 It's a big gap people on base percentage. 351. 439.
- 19:20Stupid, man, that's stupid. Slugging. 587. 668 and the fun
- 19:31one in case people don't want to do math, the OPS. 939. 11 O 7
- 19:42for a Total War of 6.8. 5.9. I, I understand that I'm
- 19:57impressed by Cal Raleigh. I think you can argue for a
- 20:01judge to win an MVP and still be highly impressed with Cal
- 20:05Raleigh and still acknowledge the fact that he's, he's doing
- 20:09things we haven't seen in a long time.
- 20:12I don't think those are exclusive.
- 20:18The reality is, is that this is the MVP.
- 20:26Aaron Judge is the MVP. Here.
- 20:29Now, here's a question for you. If Aaron Judge didn't win the
- 20:33MVP this year, is it a bigger robbery this year or in 2017?
- 20:382017 for sure, that was that haunts me and I didn't lose it
- 20:43myself, but I'm haunted by that little pip squeak that is a
- 20:48joke. But when you talk about like the
- 20:50difference in leading those categories, it's probably pretty
- 20:54close. It's probably pretty close, but
- 21:00I don't understand. And going back to what you were
- 21:02saying, defensively, it's the same crowd.
- 21:05It's the same crowd that you can't cherry pick defensive
- 21:12stats or awards. And I feel like it's the same
- 21:16crowd that does that, that just slaps out while he's a Gold
- 21:20Glover at it. And then at the same time we'll
- 21:23go find a player and say Gold Gloves don't mean anything
- 21:26anymore. It's the same people making
- 21:28those arguments. Personally, I they just need to
- 21:31get rid of the gold and platinum gloves.
- 21:33I'm I'm over it. I'm over it.
- 21:36It's borderline All Star appearances.
- 21:38That's where we're getting into. It's it's, it's better.
- 21:42It's practically there. And to your point about just
- 21:45slapping things on there, it goes back to the point that just
- 21:48really grinds my gears that I hear all the time.
- 21:51It's it's just picking and choosing when we're going to
- 21:56drop in certain accolades for certain narratives.
- 22:00Like the example I always use is when you hear 2019 NLMVP, Cody
- 22:06Bellinger, it's like it's 2025. No disrespect.
- 22:11Not taking a single thing away from Cody Bellinger, who I
- 22:16believe has better outfield metrics than Aaron Judge.
- 22:19I did see like people are like, oh, Aaron Judge is an elite
- 22:21defender and I saw people being like he's not even the best.
- 22:24He's not even the best defender on his in his own outfield.
- 22:27He's so fun to watch. Cody, like Cody Bellinger,
- 22:32really good defensively at multiple positions too.
- 22:35But yeah, yeah, but it's, it's just the the cherry picking has
- 22:39been funny to see. But to your point about the the
- 22:41defensive metrics, looking at what Judge has on his savant,
- 22:45he's got 2 outs about of average, which which puts him in
- 22:49the 77 percentile arm value, 91st percentile arm strength, 88
- 22:53percentile with Cal Raleigh. He's in 8th percentile on blocks
- 22:59above average. He's in the 81st when it comes
- 23:02to caught stealing above average, 89th in framing.
- 23:06His framing metrics are very good pop time, 39th percentile,
- 23:11which whatever, But it's, it goes back to, to what I said is
- 23:16the is honestly, like with everything, with, with politics,
- 23:21with media, with pop culture, it's never as good as people say
- 23:25it is. It's never really as bad as
- 23:27people say it is. As it pertains to Cal Raleigh
- 23:31and Aaron Judge's defense, they're both above average.
- 23:36Aaron Judge is not necessarily playing a Gold Glove defense
- 23:39this year and Cal Raleigh is not necessarily playing a Platinum
- 23:43Glove a la 2024 Cal Raleigh defense this year.
- 23:47That's just, and if we're going to stay on that and if we're
- 23:51going to compare the two, I will give the edge to catchers 10
- 23:55times out of 10. I think it's one of the hardest
- 23:59positions in all of sports, so I will give the edge that way.
- 24:07But again, I don't think home runs and catching is enough to
- 24:16just wash away the rest of the other categories 100. 64 point
- 24:22differential in OPS between the two 164.
- 24:30Come on man. But to your point, catcher's got
- 24:37to be the hardest position to do it.
- 24:39I I don't have it, I don't have a dog in the fight.
- 24:41Like whatever Aaron Judge is playing out of his mind.
- 24:44Cal Raleigh's been an awesome sort of see, I just like, I just
- 24:47like playing devil's advocate for, for both camps, truly,
- 24:50because like I said, what Aaron Judge is doing is historic.
- 24:55I won't even say borderline historic.
- 24:57What he's doing is historic. But at the same time, Cal
- 25:00Raleigh on any given night is setting some sort of benchmark
- 25:08all time. Super impressive.
- 25:17I don't know that I've decided to be honest with you.
- 25:19I think that like if, if you were to say I, I think the best
- 25:25way to look at it is imagine this is the first year you're
- 25:28seeing Aaron Judge do this. I did see a lot of that as.
- 25:32Well, like I take nor the rest of the past and ignore like his
- 25:37other feats say this is his first year doing this.
- 25:44I think that makes it more impressive and I don't know why.
- 25:53And on the other hand, I'm impressed that he's somehow just
- 25:57developed and gotten more complete.
- 26:03It's like a it's like a three-point shooter and suddenly
- 26:05figuring out how to how to score inside, how to get to the free
- 26:10throw line, how to pick up his defense at the same like it's he
- 26:13has developed his entire game. And again, like I know batting
- 26:20average doesn't mean what it used to, but we're talking what
- 26:24a 9080 point difference. You have to think comment like
- 26:31in the in the offseason as Judge is preparing for this, the 2025
- 26:35season, He's got to be thinking like the biggest knocks against
- 26:40me are my ability to hit for average in my strikeout rates
- 26:47that are through the roof. And I feel like he's adjust.
- 26:50He's made adjustment. He's made strides in both.
- 26:52Yeah, yeah. The strikeout percentage has
- 26:55significantly gone down. And yet he's still having to,
- 26:59you know, go out there every day for the last for what's going to
- 27:05end up being the last month of the season feeling like he has
- 27:08to continue to prove his case for MVP when he's probably
- 27:12looking at a stat line going or maybe he's not.
- 27:15Maybe he's not that type of guy. But if he is, he's probably
- 27:17going what more do I have to do? And that, you know, that's going
- 27:22to suck for him. But when you've got a catcher
- 27:25that's putting 50 out, potentially on pace for 60, I
- 27:30think I saw that he's where was it on pace for?
- 27:41It's got a 32% chance at reaching 60 homers, 25% for
- 27:466117% for 62 and just 7% to break Judge's record.
- 27:59So when you have a storyline like that, it does muddy the
- 28:04waters a little bit, I will say for Judge.
- 28:07Yeah, I don't disagree. And again, I don't I wouldn't be
- 28:12overly disappointed if he did lose it to Cal Raleigh, but I do
- 28:21think it was robbery if that is the case.
- 28:30It's hard to say, man, hard to say.
- 28:32It's going to be fun. I don't know how caught up
- 28:36riders get in recency Pious and it's awesome to see.
- 28:43I don't need to tear down Cal Raleigh at all to build up my
- 28:47case, and I hope that that's the approach that most people start
- 28:50taking. No need to tear the other guy
- 28:55down. Both are studs man.
- 28:57It's fun to watch. Good for ball, good for the for
- 29:00good. Good for the game, Good for us,
- 29:02you know? Good for the.
- 29:03Goose good for the gander. That's a great, that's a great
- 29:07segue into what is our next topic.
- 29:10Good for the game, good for us, good for us.
- 29:14Being that they released the 2026 schedule yesterday, I think
- 29:20mere minutes before the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey news drop.
- 29:26Strategic. Yeah, that was that was quite a
- 29:32whirlwind on social media, I will say.
- 29:34But let's talk about some of the highlights for the 2026 season.
- 29:39How many times did I just say 20 there?
- 29:41Did I say 2026? Few.
- 29:44Sounded like I said 20/20/26. Felt that way.
- 29:48Maybe not, who knows. 2026 schedule, release, opening
- 29:54night. I'm excited.
- 29:55Can I just say I'm excited for this, even though it's your
- 29:58stupid Yankees, I'm excited to have a singular game to kick the
- 30:05year off on US soil. Hey, I might add, that's
- 30:10important. Yeah, I might add, look, no
- 30:12disrespect to Tokyo, no disrespect to wherever else we
- 30:21could kick, potentially kick the season off.
- 30:24Australia, Iceland, Germany, Turkey, Russia.
- 30:43Czechoslovakia. Slovakia.
- 30:47What? Czech la.
- 30:48Czech, La. Czechoslovakia.
- 30:53Yeah, Nope. Got me Italy, Romania, Romania,
- 30:59South Africa that's a hotbed for baseball.
- 31:06Cote d'Ivoire. Never heard of that.
- 31:09Ivory. Ivory.
- 31:10Was it an appetizer? Also Africa.
- 31:14How about that pole? Yeah, if if they decided to play
- 31:17opening opening day there. You know what?
- 31:19No disrespect, but I'm just glad that we're we're kicking off the
- 31:23year well. You know what everything else
- 31:29is? No disrespect but disrespect.
- 31:32I'm glad it's not in Canada. Honestly, yeah, I could.
- 31:37I would actually. I would choose to watch
- 31:40something else if they open the season in Canada.
- 31:42That's correct. I was fine with Canada when we,
- 31:46when we went up there, not just a month or two ago.
- 31:49Yeah. And back in July, that's what it
- 31:51was. It was July because it was
- 31:54Canada Day. I was fine with Canada.
- 31:56But then the second was second. We realized, oh shoot, we're up
- 31:59here for Canada Day and we're sitting there listening to the
- 32:02radio, like the talk shows bashing and they are just
- 32:06slamming the good old Stars and Bars.
- 32:10I was like, Get Me Out of here, I'm going home.
- 32:12Same for me. I'm going home.
- 32:14So yeah, forever. Forever ruined my relationship
- 32:19with Canada. Sorry about it.
- 32:22Honestly. In the chat.
- 32:23Greenland, Why don't we? Yeah, I'm.
- 32:25I'm with you. Wait.
- 32:27That one has that one's cold. That's the switcheroo.
- 32:31Iceland is the I believe, slightly warmer.
- 32:35In comparison, yeah, that's the old switch up.
- 32:38Love that. For to keep the pirates on their
- 32:42toes, I believe. No, but opening the season in in
- 32:48San Francisco Wednesday March 25th, which is the earliest
- 32:52domestic opener ever. That part I don't like.
- 32:57That part I'm not, I'm not in for but back a week.
- 33:00I'm not going to die on that hill.
- 33:01I'd rather I'm I'm cool with them reintroduce reintroducing
- 33:06the opening night, something they haven't done since I
- 33:08believe 2015. I'm a fan.
- 33:12A prime time opening night. Big fan of that.
- 33:15I wasn't that I wasn't that tapped in 2015, were you I?
- 33:19Was not. Yeah, not like this.
- 33:23Not like this, but that'll be that'll be getting things kicked
- 33:26off. Will Arson Judge and Oracle?
- 33:33Wow, here's here's another thought.
- 33:36Cole. Cole will be back then he'll be
- 33:38ready to. He'll be ready to go by winning
- 33:40the day, right? Yeah.
- 33:42Don't forget who plays in San Francisco.
- 33:44Now that's going to be a nightmare for Cole to start the
- 33:472026. No, we won't see.
- 33:49It's just Sharpie it. We'll see.
- 33:53I'll go ahead and make my my 2026 hot takes and predictions.
- 33:57That that stadium does. I'll make it.
- 34:00It's a whole. I don't care.
- 34:02I'll make it take right now. Put them on Mars.
- 34:04I don't care. Rafael Devers owns your ace.
- 34:09And that's just a matter of fact, my friend.
- 34:11You're still defending a giant. A San Francisco giant.
- 34:20Why would I not? What's I don't have beef with
- 34:22the Giants. You.
- 34:24Don't have beef with that guy. Not as it relates to.
- 34:29I feel like that duo. He doesn't have the this.
- 34:32The aura, the aura is is has taken a hit, yeah.
- 34:37What a gross number. It's not the number as much as
- 34:40it, just it. Plays a factor.
- 34:42The IT does certainly does, but it's more just like the, the,
- 34:46the atmosphere, just not, it's not the same.
- 34:50I didn't know San Francisco was a a Dominican hotbed, you know
- 34:54now Fenway Park, yeah, they roll out, they roll out Dominicans
- 35:01there year in and year out and they just ball out.
- 35:05But never didn't want any part of it.
- 35:06So whatever. They're going to have rivalry,
- 35:10rivalry weekend again from May 15th to 17th, which it always,
- 35:16it always makes me laugh at some of the matchups.
- 35:18I mean, I get I, I get it, you run it.
- 35:20You have to just make certain things work.
- 35:22You have to stretch certain things out to make it work.
- 35:24But I believe I read it'll be the same matchups that we had
- 35:30this year. For Rivalry Weekend.
- 35:32The A's will be spending back-to-back series in Las
- 35:37Vegas. I saw that.
- 35:39How do you feel about that? Little tester, you know what I
- 35:43mean let's see what let's see what this the city has to offer
- 35:47a little bit I. Guess man, it just seems.
- 35:52We're all done with the a slander Or is this a Vegas
- 35:55slander? Or is this an MLB slander?
- 36:03Well, I'm not going to slander my Sacramento A's.
- 36:05So that leaves Vegas and then and Major League Baseball,
- 36:10probably Major League Baseball. Like what's with like the
- 36:15testing? To me, this is the equivalent of
- 36:17having a having a spring training game at a Major League
- 36:20ballpark two days before opening day.
- 36:25It's just weird. It's like, why just roll out
- 36:29When you're ready to play big boy baseball, play big boy
- 36:32baseball. Don't, don't hit me with these
- 36:34teasers, you know? I I think they should just go on
- 36:40tour, Just put the A's on tour. Is that not?
- 36:45Let them let them just try out everything.
- 36:48Let them try out all these cities that you're considering
- 36:50as an expansion. I'm sure we're going to go find
- 36:53a park in Portland to be like, hey Ace, you're going to be our
- 36:56Guinea pig for the next couple years till your stadiums ready.
- 36:59We're going to see what these cities are all about.
- 37:02I should be commissioner. It's.
- 37:04Crazy. Give them a little residence out
- 37:06in Portland, maybe Nashville. And they don't like, give it,
- 37:11give it like a good chunk of time like this, like give it a
- 37:14week or two, you know, give them, give them enough time to
- 37:18like settle in a little bit. And then just like, say, hey,
- 37:21let's see what this is about. It's honestly a great idea.
- 37:23And if Major League Baseball were to hear that and like,
- 37:25well, that's kind of gimmicky. This is the same league that is
- 37:30having them play back-to-back series in a ballpark that's not
- 37:33theirs at the moment. So you tell me what's gimmicky
- 37:38anyway? Not important maybe.
- 37:40Just worry about having enough buns for your hot dogs, you
- 37:43know, Shots fired. That's a shot.
- 37:49The All Star Game, as as we very well know, will be in Philly to
- 37:54mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
- 37:59That's so gangster. That's a baller move.
- 38:02Oh, the merch is going to be. On.
- 38:05Filthy. Real.
- 38:08I don't. Know what I'm going to do on 4th
- 38:12of July next year? But it's going to be grand.
- 38:16It's going to be something nice. I'm not a fireworks guy
- 38:18necessary. I mean, I love fireworks, but
- 38:20personally, like I'm not going out and and setting things off,
- 38:23but I may just blow something up just to blow it up.
- 38:27Pause, pause. If FBI is listening, it's it's
- 38:31he. Was talking about his toilet.
- 38:32It's good. No, yeah, yeah, after all the
- 38:34brats and dogs I'd consume. Hit me with some Mac salad.
- 38:40Boy, oh boy. Crazy.
- 38:44So yeah, that'll be July 14th. September 11th, there will be
- 38:52the three-game series between the Mets and Yankees to
- 38:54commemorate the 25th anniversary.
- 38:57This one will be in the Bronx, I believe.
- 38:59The 20th. Yeah, right.
- 39:02The 20th anniversary was wait a minute.
- 39:07No. Was that the 20th in it when
- 39:11they did that in the in Queens? Yeah.
- 39:16You're telling me that was in? 2021 that.
- 39:20Was in 2020 that was it's already been three almost four
- 39:25years ago I. Hate that.
- 39:29I hate that. Holy cow, any who's that'll be
- 39:33that'll be September 11th through the through the 13th.
- 39:36As I mentioned in the Bronx, Honestly, no disrespect towards
- 39:42towards Queens, towards Citi Field.
- 39:45I'm not saying 1 area was, you know, any less devastated than
- 39:49the other, but there's something I don't know what it is.
- 39:54Maybe it's just because I, I feel like most people think of
- 39:57the Yankees as like New York's team.
- 39:59I will be, I will be here. I just feel like that series in
- 40:04the Bronx is just going to have. An extra special feel to it like
- 40:11I I really I don't know I don't know why that is, but I just I'm
- 40:15I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they how they
- 40:18commemorate that that series we. Need George Dub get out there
- 40:22and throw the first pitch again. Man in the World Series, that
- 40:25was that. 'D be something.
- 40:27Yeah, that was legit. That'd be something.
- 40:30And then as we mentioned, opening night is the earliest
- 40:33has ever been and we're looking at a finale to the regular
- 40:37season, the earliest we've seen since COVID, actually this skit
- 40:41last day of the regular season scheduled for September 27th.
- 40:46So which means things should finish up pre November.
- 40:53Oh, yeah, I think that's safe to say.
- 40:54Yeah, I like that. We'll have, I think we're going
- 40:58to have the, the Wild Card series over what, by the
- 41:03literally the end of the end of September.
- 41:05No 'cause don't they, I think they usually take a day off,
- 41:09which means it'll be the 28th. So then you got, I guess it'll
- 41:13finish October 1st, 29th, 30th. Yeah, but I like 'cause like
- 41:17right now I think the World Series, I think like Game 5 is
- 41:24Halloween the 31st, isn't it? I think that's Game 5 or Game.
- 41:286. I don't like, I don't want that.
- 41:34I don't. I want it done in October.
- 41:42Whatever. We're getting there.
- 41:44I think little adjustments are being made starting this.
- 41:47Starting the season off in the States, no shenanigans out
- 41:54there. In Ireland, no shenanigans.
- 41:56Now I could get on board with Ireland, that'd be you could
- 42:00have some fun with that. It would have to be the socks.
- 42:08Oh yeah, for sure. Who?
- 42:09Who else would you put out there isn't?
- 42:13Probably throw the Cubs out there.
- 42:14I feel like I don't know where's.
- 42:16Another Where's another Irish hotbed?
- 42:20I've said hotbed on this episode 3 times.
- 42:22It's kind of weird. Yeah yeah.
- 42:25Chicago. Not one I.
- 42:27Feel like Chicago is a little something there, yeah.
- 42:33I think Chicago is also a Polish hotbed.
- 42:35That's 4 we don't need to get in geography.
- 42:42But anyway, that's not a strong suit.
- 42:44It's not That's the that's the 2026 schedule release
- 42:48highlights. Moving right along here.
- 42:50Wilson Contreras suspended for six games.
- 42:53He did. He did appeal the suspension.
- 42:57So he was he was in action right away.
- 43:02What are we appealing? I mean, six games is a lot,
- 43:09yeah. The most damning part of all of
- 43:11this, though, is the the. Coach.
- 43:14Yeah, the coach took the brunt of it.
- 43:16Which I get it, Like you're in the heat of the moment.
- 43:19You're, you're just, you're, you're pissed, you're flipping
- 43:22the bat. You don't really have much
- 43:23regard for where it goes. But the fact that there's just a
- 43:26scrum right there with the UMPS and the and the coaches and some
- 43:29guys holding you back, you got to think that's going to hit
- 43:32somebody. Yeah.
- 43:34He knew what he was doing. Well, I don't think he entirely
- 43:39knew what he was doing because I don't.
- 43:40I think if he had the choice, he would have probably not hit one
- 43:43of his his coaches, But that's just me.
- 43:50Yeah, sorry, beginning. It's got me got me big
- 43:58distracted when I. Edit When I go back and edit
- 44:00these videos and I'm like, I'm never rubbing at you.
- 44:02I'm scrubbing the timeline. It's just, and I'm like watching
- 44:06it, I'm watching it in full speed.
- 44:07This is this is what I see. And then I'll it'll it'll hold
- 44:12for a couple seconds. I'll come back every every time.
- 44:17While I was watching I'm getting my first eyes on on Bubba
- 44:20Chandler. Bulk reliever Bubba Chandler.
- 44:25Doesn't look as easy as it does for Paul Skeens.
- 44:29It does well, I mean it looks good.
- 44:35Paul Skeens is in is in a league of a zone as it as it relates to
- 44:40making it look easy. Just drilled Mason win.
- 44:44All right, moving on. All right, now it's going to
- 44:45live live commentate this better than the guy that does.
- 44:49It that guy sucks. The big inning guy is the worst.
- 44:54What are we doing? We do we.
- 44:57Need. Oh, you're watching?
- 44:57Beginning. I thought you're taking shots at
- 44:59the Pirates booth. I'm like, that seems
- 45:01unnecessary. But you're talking about the big
- 45:03inning guy, the. Big inning guy's terrible.
- 45:05Yeah, I feel for that guy, man. It sounds like he just, they
- 45:08work him 12 hours and then they're like, oh, by the way,
- 45:11you also have to do Big Inning tonight.
- 45:13Yeah, maybe I don't get it. I, I think he, I just think he
- 45:17sucks. My standard is Scott Hanson with
- 45:19red zone though, and that's a hard, that's a hard standard to
- 45:22match. That seems unfair.
- 45:24Yeah, thought I was going to say, did you?
- 45:26We should probably at some point talk about that whole ESPN
- 45:29purchase thing. Did you see all that?
- 45:32They bought MLBTV. Haven't they?
- 45:34No, they didn't buy MLBTV. They bought what?
- 45:41What are you talking about? I thought they bought or they I
- 45:44thought they renegotiated a deal to.
- 45:47Keep No No. Sunday night baseball and all
- 45:48that. No, no, no, ESPN is talking
- 45:51about ESPN is purchasing MLBTV. They purchased Red Zone.
- 45:56They are about to come in hot. Oh shoot, MLBTV is is about to
- 46:05change bro. They're trying to get rid of
- 46:09like blackouts and stuff with this too.
- 46:11It's kind of a big move. And ESPN the app is about to
- 46:16probably jump like 40 or 50 bucks a month.
- 46:20ESPN and MLB are reportedly close to an agreement that would
- 46:24allow the network to carry MLBTV and the rights to all out of
- 46:28market baseball games and select in market games.
- 46:32The reported deal, which has not been signed yet, would give ESPN
- 46:35the ability to offer MLBTV to fans as part of the network's
- 46:39newly launched direct to consumer streaming service.
- 46:46How often is Nate DO Double G introducing news to you?
- 46:53Not often this one. That's good then this one is
- 46:56good. To chalk it up.
- 46:57Well, no, but that's what I'm saying.
- 46:58But no, no, no, no. I, I'm, I guess I just skimmed
- 47:03it and thought that it was, they had, they had decided to
- 47:08maintain the rights to Sunday night baseball and all that.
- 47:11Stuff that was like a week before this.
- 47:13Oh, so this was even wasn't even lumped in.
- 47:15This was a separate thing. This came out like AI think like
- 47:18a week, week and a half ago. Wow.
- 47:20Yeah, this. Is news to me.
- 47:22It's interesting because they're they did some other stuff.
- 47:29I can't. It was like a package where
- 47:31they're like, they're just coming in and like swooping
- 47:35stuff up. Oh, Apple TV, Friday's gone
- 47:40good. That's dead.
- 47:42That I think this was in like the bundle of news that we got.
- 47:48I did see the Apple TV, Yeah, yeah.
- 47:50But we didn't mention it. But yeah, I'm glad.
- 47:52Yeah, lot, lot to lot to get into.
- 47:54Hey, look, you know, we're all busy.
- 47:57That's why we're partners. So you know what I mean?
- 47:58That's why I'm here. I appreciate the help.
- 48:06Speaking of partners, Texas Ranger Nathan Euvaldi Done.
- 48:13For the year. Sorry, partner.
- 48:17Sorry, partner. That's.
- 48:18Terrible. No, I hate no nothing but love
- 48:22for for my guy Big Nate and I'm talking to Euvaldi out.
- 48:28Well, we'll just say likely done for the rest of the regular
- 48:32season rotator cuff strain. It's possible that he could
- 48:38resurface mid to tail end of the postseason, but that's there are
- 48:46a lot of things that have to happen for that to even be an
- 48:49option for the Rangers. So sucky news for for Evaldi,
- 48:55which who I didn't I didn't even realize wasn't even eligible to
- 49:02be the ERA leader. He was eligible for the ERA
- 49:07leader for I think a night. Pre injury.
- 49:13After allowing one run in seven innings against the Guardians in
- 49:16his last start last Friday, he was the official ERA leader for
- 49:20one night. Put him in 130 because you have
- 49:24to average an inning or you have to have an inning logged for
- 49:31every team game played. So at that point, he had 130
- 49:35innings under his belt and the Rangers had played 130 games.
- 49:38And then obviously the next day becomes ineligible for that.
- 49:41I did not know that was the qualifier.
- 49:43Thank you for that. Is qualifier hey?
- 49:45Thank you for informing me. Bringing some news to you as
- 49:49well. Learn something new everyday.
- 49:51But 11:00 and 3:00 on the year. Career best 173 across 22
- 49:58starts. Hate that haven't an insane
- 50:01year. Hate that.
- 50:03I hate, I hate these injuries. I'm so tired of pitching
- 50:08injuries. I'm over it.
- 50:15That's tough. I'm all done.
- 50:17That's a tough blow for that rotation, too.
- 50:19That rotations been disgusting this year for the most part.
- 50:23I think. Leading baseball, actually.
- 50:29Where, where are they currently sitting?
- 50:34Loud card five games back. Yeah, they ain't going to cut
- 50:42it. Sorry, he's done.
- 50:46He ain't pitching again. Ranger, Yeah, leading baseball
- 50:55with a 343 ERA as a staff. Doing all they need to do.
- 51:01Never thought offense would be the issue with with that line up
- 51:04coming in the season. Never thought.
- 51:10Speaking of offense. Whoa.
- 51:14Vinny Pasquantino hitting 3:15 with eight jacks, 21 ribbies and
- 51:22a 1178 OPS over the last 15 days.
- 51:25Your reigning AL Player of the Week, in which he hit six
- 51:29homers, hit 37912 ribbies and then OPS of 15 O 6.
- 51:34Des. Hustle Sports.
- 51:37Vinny Pasquantino. That's right, shout him out.
- 51:46I'll be honest with you. Before I initially just had
- 51:49Vinny because I was like, I'm looking at some of these other
- 51:52names around the league and I just don't know if I'm getting
- 51:54the the the the credit cannon vibes for this week.
- 51:57So maybe it's just a a lone representative in Vinny
- 52:01Pasquantino. But I did a little more digging.
- 52:03I thought, you know what? Let's let's tip our cap to
- 52:06Hurston Waldrup. Dope name.
- 52:12Is it dope? Name is it?
- 52:16Is that the adjective we're going with there?
- 52:18Dope. Absolutely.
- 52:20Hurston, Waldrip. Absolutely.
- 52:24Imagine. Imagine getting a check with
- 52:30your name on it. Your name is Hurston Waldrip.
- 52:32Hurston I like, but pairing it with Waldrip just that's a.
- 52:38Kid for sure got bullied in school, that's a lot.
- 52:42Herson, you yeah, Speaking of checks, that's got to be a sick
- 52:46signature. I think so, yeah.
- 52:48He's built to autograph baseballs.
- 52:50That's what that names for. He looks clean.
- 52:54All that bullying that he received in elementary school
- 52:57during during attendance call out.
- 53:00Look at him now. Herson, Waldrip.
- 53:04Through 5 appearances, 4 starts this season, he is rocking a .90
- 53:13ERA, .93 WHIP and a 24 to 7 K to walk ratio through 30 innings
- 53:22with A4 no record. Pretty good.
- 53:31Good stuff. Good cannon Cannon cannon cannon
- 53:38cannon. Do you know he actually doesn't
- 53:40say Canon? What does he say?
- 53:42Have you seen the? Have you seen the TikTok on
- 53:44this? No, what does he?
- 53:46Say you remember the quarterback.
- 53:48Dead serious. You remember the quarterback
- 53:50from back in the day for the Raiders, I believe Rich Gannon.
- 53:54That's what he says. That's the guy.
- 53:57If you go back and listen to it from Madden, that's the guy.
- 54:01You need to look this up. Gannon, it's like that.
- 54:05And people think he says Canon or yeah, I think that's what
- 54:10people assume he says yeah. Really.
- 54:13Dead serious. I saw I saw a TikTok that's like
- 54:15that's crazy. The more the more you know, I.
- 54:17Don't know if I buy it. Not everything you see on the
- 54:22Internet is true. Abraham Lincoln.
- 54:26He did say that. He did say that, yeah.
- 54:30Quoted. Hey, Speaking of a Canon, Gannon
- 54:35Gannon, Oroldis Chapman, the Cuban missile.
- 54:42Nate, I don't think you realize. I know you're a big fan now.
- 54:47I don't think you realize I'm, I'm not going to acknowledge
- 54:51that statement. I don't think you realize how
- 54:54bait, how good. I'm not.
- 54:57I'm not. I'm not biting.
- 54:59I don't think you realize how good Aroldis Chapman has been
- 55:01this year, especially the last. We'll call it 13.
- 55:08Well, coming in today, he has. So I just got to save.
- 55:10I don't know. I don't know what he did in his
- 55:12outing. Can't believe they snuck that
- 55:14game out by the way, back-to-back.
- 55:17Jacks in the top of the ninth to take a 3-2 lead.
- 55:19And then he came in and shut it down.
- 55:25I couldn't see it because I'm blacked out and I had to use my
- 55:28phone for purposes other than mass and I had to have my notes
- 55:33up. But that's baseball for you.
- 55:38Any who's coming into today. His last 13 appearances, 10 and
- 55:422 thirds, 8 saves, zero hits, 0 earned runs, four walks, 11
- 55:52strikeouts and a 35.9% swing and miss on the year.
- 55:59Coming into today, 56 appearances, 4 and 2 record an
- 56:05ERA of one O, 671 strikeouts and a .69 WHIP.
- 56:12Is he a Hall of Famer for you? Hold on coming into today.
- 56:18Well, actually hold on. Let's let's confirm here.
- 56:23I don't think he had a hit. I don't think he gave up a hit
- 56:25today. No hits, no one runs.
- 56:33OK, so there you go. Just adjust everything I just
- 56:36said to incorporate another save where he did not give up another
- 56:40hit or a run has given up two runs.
- 56:46I want you to wrap your mind around this.
- 56:47Aroldis Chapman has given up two runs since May 28th.
- 56:54Two big chappy guy. Is he a Hall of Famer?
- 57:05Let's look at the numbers. Admittedly, I'm not keeping tabs
- 57:08on his career numbers. Is he a Hall of Famer to you?
- 57:20I think he, I think he is. 360 saves.
- 57:26Well, this is Baseball Reference, so this is probably
- 57:28like a week old, so he's probably got more.
- 57:30Figured out over there. Good night.
- 57:32Don't. Understand how baseball
- 57:34reference. Same people that run Craigslist
- 57:36to run. Truly.
- 57:38Baseball. Reference bro it's insane.
- 57:41Feel free to update to a new font by the way, like it's been
- 57:46running it back. The whole time, don't be scared
- 57:48to make some changes. Yeah, the World Wide Web.
- 57:51This is the first and only edition of Baseball Reference.
- 57:56Crazy 360 saves over 1300 strikeouts, a WHIP of one O 7,
- 58:03nine career WAR of 23.8. I'd be curious to see how those
- 58:09numbers stack up to other Hall of Famer leaders.
- 58:14Genuinely have no idea how where the where the stage.
- 58:17It's because it's like, I think there's a like a percentage of
- 58:21the vote that speaks to not just long depth longevity, but
- 58:26dominance over a long period of time.
- 58:30And it's clearly he's still dominating.
- 58:33I mean, is this safe to say this is the best year of his career?
- 58:36No, I mean, this is my first taste of it in in Boston,
- 58:41obviously, but I mean, you, you watched him in New York for
- 58:44those years. So.
- 58:47I don't. I mean, I would argue the the
- 58:51year, the two year span where he went to the Cubs and then Yanks
- 58:57brought him back after the World Series, feel like those were a
- 59:01couple pretty good years. But what's nuts is that that was
- 59:08like, what, nine years ago, 2016?
- 59:15It's crazy, yeah. He's he currently ranks 13th on
- 59:21the all time saves leaderboard and he currently with his 360
- 59:27saves, currently owns more saves and Raleigh Fingers Hall of
- 59:31Famer Goose Gossage, Hall of Famer Bruce Sutter, Hall of
- 59:37Famer Hoyt Wilhelm, Hall of Famer Hoyt Hoyt.
- 59:47And those aren't even the names that are immediately after him.
- 59:49I'm just, I'm just scanning for hall of farmers that are beneath
- 59:53him. Who's Who are the Hall of
- 59:55Farmers over 400 saves not in? Over 400, not in.
- 1:00:03OK, so Joe Nath or no, excuse me, Dennis Eckersley is actually
- 1:00:07the last last saves leader That starts with a three.
- 1:00:11He had 390 saves. Billy Wagner is 8th at 4:22.
- 1:00:18Obviously in. John Franco has 424 saves.
- 1:00:22He's 7th not in K Rod has 437. Sorry, did I say John Franco at
- 1:00:304:24 for John Franco? K Rod 437 not in.
- 1:00:35Craig Kimbrel, active 440. Kenley Jansen, active 470.
- 1:00:41Lee Smith, Hall of Famer 478. Trevor Hoffman, six O 1.
- 1:00:46Mariano Rivera, 652. I'd, I'd probably say Kenley's
- 1:00:50in. I don't know if Kimbrel's in, I
- 1:00:53don't know what it is, just can't get there.
- 1:00:58But I think at this rate, Chap Chapman's definitely going to
- 1:01:01cross over 400. Goodyear, Man.
- 1:01:08He's 30. He's 30.
- 1:01:09Seven love to just see the Don't You dominance once you head over
- 1:01:13across town. Don't you just love to see?
- 1:01:16It change jerseys loser. Speaking of jerseys, last item
- 1:01:24for me or merch reminder, check out the shop.
- 1:01:27In case you. Case you've missed the last
- 1:01:29episode or two I'd heard today. I heard today from somebody in
- 1:01:33our fantasy chat that because I had Bubba Chandler as the
- 1:01:37headline for a recent episode, he's like, I didn't even bother
- 1:01:40checking it out. So.
- 1:01:41Yeah, rude. Sick love that.
- 1:01:43So if you are one of those people that you're like, whoa, I
- 1:01:46don't want to the. Pirates.
- 1:01:48I don't listen to pirates. I don't listen to pirates talk.
- 1:01:51Which by the way, I I don't know if people think.
- 1:01:54Ran into it again this episode. I don't know if people think
- 1:01:59that just because the headline is about XY or Z that that
- 1:02:03that's the only thing we're going to talk about.
- 1:02:04That's not how that works. We talk about lots of things.
- 1:02:07Shame on this particular individual for not knowing.
- 1:02:11Obviously we're getting to other topics.
- 1:02:14You know who you are. How long do you think I want to
- 1:02:16talk about Bubba Chandler? Like, of course we're going to
- 1:02:18talk about other things. Bloke reliever Bubba Chandler,
- 1:02:22that is. Yeah.
- 1:02:23So in case you are one of those people that missed the
- 1:02:27announcement the last episode or two, new merch has dropped.
- 1:02:313otake.com/shop That's THREEOHTA. ke.com/shop.

- 1:02:56things out. You got anything else for the
- 1:02:57folks where we get out of here? I thought I had something juicy
- 1:03:05but I can't quite recall. Go buy some seeds.
- 1:03:13Oh yeah, I totally meant to drop in a couple.
- 1:03:16A couple notes. There you go.
- 1:03:19Little ASMR there. Yeah, check out Chinook.
- 1:03:29If you get the seeds directly from their website you can use
- 1:03:32our code for 10% off 3 O take THREEOHTAKE and if you use that
- 1:03:38same code on Seekeek you. Can get some you.
- 1:03:43Can get some tickets for the last month of games you can get
- 1:03:47tickets for the postseason too. But if you're one of those
- 1:03:49people that are just like yeah, yeah, yeah I'm kind of kind of
- 1:03:54counting on my team not being there in October totally
- 1:03:57understand but we still got a month left of ball so you can
- 1:04:00still use our promo code take 20 bucks off use that for a hot dog
- 1:04:10or a bag of peanuts. The peanuts are the prices for
- 1:04:15peanuts are insane. What are they at now?
- 1:04:19I went to the Nats game the other day. 13 bucks for a bag of
- 1:04:22peanuts. Double digits is crazy.
- 1:04:25I'm sorry, no disrespect on peanuts, but double digits is
- 1:04:28just absurd. Those are all maxed out at 8:00.
- 1:04:31Bucks even 8. I mean, yeah, I think it's
- 1:04:35egregious. 8 is egregious and admittedly I'd probably pay $8,
- 1:04:39but that's, that's crazy. I I think ideally I'm paying
- 1:04:45like Max 5 bucks for a bag of peanuts, yeah.
- 1:04:49Especially with the, you know, weird people with the coolers
- 1:04:53outside of the stadium. What's cheaper?
- 1:04:56True. Yeah, you can bring those right
- 1:04:57in. Yeah, I don't care.
- 1:05:00Crazy. I'm all done.
- 1:05:02I'm going to go make some chicken tenders and Mac and
- 1:05:05cheese. That's.
- 1:05:08A hop. I'm a hop on a flight.
- 1:05:10I'll be out. Cool, save some.
- 1:05:12I'll keep the airfryer hot. For a few hours, yeah.
- 1:05:16Let me just turn it back on, all right?
- 1:05:20Don't go chase care balls. We love you all and as always,
- 1:05:24looking forward to talking more baseball with you guys soon.
- 1:05:26Until next time, stay filthy.
