  - Hello, and welcome to divine five one five

  - daily prayers with Valerie Mocha. I'm your host,

  - and I'd like to welcome you to today's

  - prayer episode where we're talking about peace when
• 2:44
  - life feels uncertain.

  - Scripture text comes from John fourteen twenty seven

  - and says, peace I leave with you. My
• 2:52
  - peace I give to you.

  - Well,
• 2:57
  - I hate to break the news to you,
• 2:59
  - but life doesn't always give us clear answers.

  - In fact,
• 3:05
  - you're probably gonna have more questions than answers.

  - And the not knowing
• 3:12
  - is probably gonna
• 3:14
  - make you wanna
• 3:15
  - scream at the top of your lungs sometimes
• 3:17
  - and pull out your hair.
• 3:20
  - Yes.
• 3:21
  - I will acknowledge
• 3:23
  - waiting can feel uncomfortable.

  - Change can feel unsettling
• 3:30
  - and the unknown
• 3:32
  - often creates anxiety.

  - But remember,

  - God tells us
• 3:38
  - to give him our worries and our anxiousness,

  - drop it like a rock,
• 3:43
  - and he will take it from there. He
• 3:46
  - will carry us through the process.

  - But God's peace isn't dependent upon certainty.

  - It's rooted in his presence.

  - And his presence dictates

  - that we don't always have to have all
• 4:01
  - the answers.

  - It's always a question of trust. Are we
• 4:08
  - gonna trust him
• 4:09
  - and and
• 4:11
  - take him at his word regardless of what
• 4:13
  - it looks like or how it feels,
• 4:17
  - knowing that
• 4:18
  - his word says he'll never leave us or
• 4:20
  - forsake us.
• 4:22
  - So take comfort
• 4:24
  - and know
• 4:25
  - that God's peace is not like the world's.

  - It's better
• 4:31
  - and more solid
• 4:33
  - and can get you through
• 4:36
  - every
• 4:36
  - single
• 4:39
  - situation. That being said,

  - let's pray together.

  - Dear God,

  - when uncertainty surrounds us, remind us that your

  - presence remains constant.

  - Help us trust you even when we don't

  - have all the answers.

  - Replace anxious thoughts with confident faith and teach

  - us to rest in your promises.

  - Thank you for giving us peace that isn't

  - based on our circumstances,

  - but on

  - your unchanging character.

  - And we will give you all the honor,
