Transcript
- 0:01Hello. Look at the He's hopping.
- 0:02Something's off with me. Just Joey T, some of you.
- 0:07Just a little housekeeping right off the top.
- 0:09Some of you were not able to find last week's podcast.
- 0:13I just someone messaged me about it.
- 0:16And last week's podcast was about a more mature subject.
- 0:22So David and I, we talked a little bit about sex and about
- 0:27cruises and about orgies. So because of the way that
- 0:34YouTube keeps taps or different types of explicit content, that
- 0:39video had to be marked as age restricted on YouTube.
- 0:44That means when it's age restricted, it doesn't show up
- 0:47on the search results. It might not just come up onto
- 0:51your regular YouTube feed like your homepage on YouTube where
- 0:54YouTube recommends various videos to you, including videos
- 0:58from channels you subscribe to. So you basically you had to
- 1:02either had a direct link to it, the YouTube video from last
- 1:06week, which you probably didn't have, or you would have had to
- 1:09go directly to my YouTube profile, my YouTube page, and
- 1:14then look at my uploads. And then you would have seen
- 1:17that video there. Even when you clicked on that
- 1:19video, it would have given you a little prompt from YouTube
- 1:22saying there's like mature content or blah blah blah.
- 1:25You have to click into it if you were just listening to it as a
- 1:27podcast, not from YouTube, from Spotify or Apple podcast or
- 1:32wherever else that doesn't come up.
- 1:35So it's just due to the unique way that YouTube manages its
- 1:40content. So you can post a lot of
- 1:41different things on YouTube to be really honest.
- 1:44But YouTube, because it's owned by Google, and the way Google
- 1:48makes the vast majority of their money, it's via ads, which means
- 1:52there are a lot of ad related restrictions on things you post
- 1:57on YouTube, which for most people, most types of content,
- 2:02you know, people that are doing cooking videos or tech videos or
- 2:06gadget reviews or car, you know, whatever those types of things,
- 2:10it's fine. But if I want to talk about sex,
- 2:15then no, some advertisers are not so cool with that.
- 2:19So yeah, that's why on YouTube, do you have to really look for
- 2:23it to find last week's video. Because David and I did talk
- 2:26about sex anyways, I'm thinking maybe I should make a podcast
- 2:33that's more about the cruises because those are always the
- 2:37episodes that are little bit more popular.
- 2:40So to kick off today's podcast I will touch on one Atlantis Gate
- 2:47cruise related topic that I have some advice on.
- 2:51And I touched on this a little bit on previous episode recently
- 2:55with David. It was last week or the week
- 2:56before. And that's to do with when you
- 3:00have a room on the cruise booked with Atlantis, but for whatever
- 3:06reason you wanna sell that room for some reason you can't or
- 3:10don't wanna go anymore. And this advice is also helpful
- 3:12for those who wanna get on a cruise and for whatever reason
- 3:17you can't book through Atlantis directly or you cannot book
- 3:21through a travel agent. Maybe that cruise is sold out
- 3:26and that's why you can't book. That's usually the main reason.
- 3:29So you're looking at the Facebook groups or you're
- 3:32looking at other people posting about the crews who are already
- 3:35booked and you see some posts about people selling their rooms
- 3:39and you're thinking, oh, I can just buy a room off of someone
- 3:41who's already booked on this possibly sold out cruise.
- 3:46So the thing I want to explain here is that the rates for the
- 3:51cabins change over time and a lot of the cruises, they start
- 3:56going on sale 9 to 12 months before the actual sale date.
- 4:01So when you buy a cabin on a cruise 9 or 12 months in
- 4:06advance, the rates are the lowest at that time.
- 4:09So for the different rooms and as we get closer to the sale
- 4:15dates for that cruise, Atlantis overtime cranks up the rates for
- 4:20those. They don't make any big huge
- 4:24announcements that the rates are going up.
- 4:25It's kind of sort of done silently, OK.
- 4:29But if you were to kind of just track the prices on their
- 4:32websites or through a travel agent, whatever, over time the
- 4:34rates do go up. So a lot of the times, people
- 4:38that are selling the rooms are the people that have booked 9 or
- 4:4312 months in advance. And because the earlier you book
- 4:46the cruise, the more time goes by and that means there's more
- 4:51of a chance that something in your life will come up for
- 4:55whatever reason. Maybe you booked with a partner
- 4:59and your partner can't go anymore, so you are not going to
- 5:02go either. Maybe during the 9 or 12 months
- 5:06between when you booked it and when the cruise happens, you got
- 5:09a new job and you have them move across the country.
- 5:12Or you know, something happened, like life happens, right?
- 5:15You know, the longer period of time goes by, the more chance
- 5:19that life is going to throw you a curveball.
- 5:21So a lot of times people that are selling the rooms on the
- 5:24Facebook groups or wherever they've had the room booked for
- 5:28many, many months, the for the people that are trying to get on
- 5:31the cruise and they are not able to book it directly with
- 5:34Atlantis or with a travel agent that's usually weeks before the
- 5:40cruise. Like if you look maybe just two
- 5:44or three or four weeks out for any cruise, you look at the
- 5:47Facebook groups, that's where you see people that are trying
- 5:49to get on the cruise, that can't get on the cruise because it's
- 5:53sold out. So because of that difference in
- 5:55time between the people who want to sell the room that have
- 5:59booked it many months before and the people who are the potential
- 6:02buyers looking just maybe 2-3 four weeks before the cruise,
- 6:08the rates at that time when it's like a month before the cruise
- 6:11are going to be different from the rates of the people trying
- 6:14to sell the rooms when they booked it like 12 months before.
- 6:18And the problem is the seller has to pay the prevalent rate
- 6:24that Atlantis has at that time. So let's say someone is selling
- 6:29the room and they booked it nine months before the cruise and
- 6:32they the rate they got was like $2000 for that room.
- 6:36OK, now it's a month before the cruise and these people, they
- 6:41decided they can't go on to the cruise anymore.
- 6:43They don't want to go and they want to sell the room and they
- 6:46advertise the room for $2000 because that's what they bought
- 6:51the room for. I'm kind of excluding like the
- 6:53port fees and the gratuities and everything.
- 6:55Just to make that a little bit easier.
- 6:58They post it on to Facebook or wherever.
- 7:00And then someone who wants to get on the cruise kind of last
- 7:03minute, just a month before the cruise, now they see this person
- 7:07post their room for $2000 and they're like, oh great, I will
- 7:12contact that person and get the room for $2000.
- 7:15Well, you know what? The room is not $2000 because
- 7:18that rate was the rate that the room was at 9 or 12 months ago,
- 7:23a long time ago, and that is likely not the current rate for
- 7:28that exact same room. So if these people would try to
- 7:32call Balancis or e-mail Atlantis and try to do the room transfer,
- 7:36Atlanta's going to be like, oh, the rate for the room is not
- 7:39$2000. It is now, say, $2500.
- 7:45And that is the price that the seller has to pay for that room.
- 7:50They're not going to honor the original rate.
- 7:53That was the $2000 rate. They're probably not going to
- 7:57honor that. So the new rate's going to be
- 8:00$2500. And on top of that there's going
- 8:02to be a name change fee. Usually it's like $150.00, give
- 8:06or take. That also has to be paid on top
- 8:08of the new higher rate for the cabin.
- 8:11So the more of the story here is that if you have booked A room
- 8:17and you are trying to sell it, when you advertise the room for
- 8:22sale and you're going to include the price for the room, you
- 8:26probably should contact Atlantis and just double check what the
- 8:30current rate is for the room that you have already booked.
- 8:34So that when you advertise your room out, you're advertising the
- 8:38accurate figures and numbers because especially if you've
- 8:42booked a room a long time ago, months has gone by and now you
- 8:46try to sell the room, it's likely that the rate for your
- 8:49room has gone up. And to prevent, you know, false
- 8:53advertising, you should contact Atlantis and just double check
- 8:57what the rate is for that particular room so that when you
- 9:00advertise it to the potential buyers of the room, they're not
- 9:03going to be any surprises. And the flip side of that is if
- 9:08you are trying to get on a cruise, especially if it's like
- 9:11a little bit last minute, like, you know, 2345 weeks before the
- 9:16cruise set sail and you're looking for people that are
- 9:20selling their room so that you can buy it.
- 9:22Just know that not everyone's selling their room knows about
- 9:27this change in the rates. So just make sure that when you
- 9:31see someone advertising the room that they want to sell whatever
- 9:36numbers that they have, you have to just double check it with
- 9:39Atlantis at that time to make sure that it's really what
- 9:44you're going to pay. Because if someone hasn't sold a
- 9:48room before, they don't necessarily know about this rate
- 9:51change and they're just going to advertise it for however much
- 9:54they bought it for X months ago. And that's not necessarily what
- 9:59you are going to pay for it. But yeah, so that's a little bit
- 10:04of a tip, something to be aware of if you're trying to sell your
- 10:08room, if you've already booked as well as if you're looking to
- 10:11get on a cruise and potentially buying a room for someone who is
- 10:16looking to sell it. In addition to that, if for
- 10:21whatever reason there was a line item discount that the seller
- 10:25has gotten, for example, Atlantis will give out discounts
- 10:30to alumni. Or sometimes they do a onboard
- 10:33booking discount where if you book for next year's cruise
- 10:37before you've even like disembarked on this year's
- 10:40cruise, sometimes it's popular to do that and they give a
- 10:42discount for that. It's like an onboard discount.
- 10:45It'll show up as a line item in the reservation, basically
- 10:50discounts like that. Line item discounts like that
- 10:52usually do not transfer over to whoever you want to sell your
- 10:58room to, to the new buyer. So that's also something to be
- 11:02aware of. A lot of people will screenshot
- 11:04the line item of the numbers in their existing reservation that
- 11:10shows potentially some discounts.
- 11:13Those don't usually transfer, so that's also something to be
- 11:16aware of as well in terms of how payment is handled.
- 11:22Everything should go through Atlantis or like your travel
- 11:24agency. So using the example of if it's
- 11:28going to go through Atlantis, the name change they are going
- 11:31to charge you the name change fee, the name change has to be
- 11:34done otherwise you don't really own the room when you buy it.
- 11:37And the payment is also done through Atlantis or maybe the
- 11:42third party travel agent that you're going through as well.
- 11:45Don't PayPal or like send money to someone you don't know
- 11:50because that's very, very dangerous and it's not the way
- 11:53that it should be done. So if you get in touch with
- 11:56someone you're looking to buy A room, you see someone posting
- 12:00their room for sale, you should the two of you should basically
- 12:06reach out to Atlantis directly. Atlantis should be able to
- 12:09basically facilitate both the change of the name, which is why
- 12:13they charged that fee. And Atlantis will basically
- 12:18reach out to the buyer of the room, and Atlantis will charge
- 12:23the buyer directly for however much money they need to pay.
- 12:28And then they Atlantis will also handle refunding.
- 12:33I don't know if that's exactly how they do it, but basically
- 12:36refunding the money to whoever's selling the room.
- 12:39So all the payments should be done through Atlantis directly
- 12:43or via the travel agency if the room was originally booked
- 12:46through a travel agent. Cool.
- 12:50So hopefully that clears up some of the possible confusion around
- 12:55the payment and around the numbers.
- 12:57For those of you who are looking to sell your room or looking to
- 13:00buy a room, especially on a cruise that sold out, that was
- 13:03something I had to learn for the first time because I sold my
- 13:07room early this year for that general cruise in the Caribbean
- 13:10out of Florida. And I didn't know about a couple
- 13:14of those things. So I thought just a little bit
- 13:17of APSA here for y'all cool. Yeah, if you guys want me to do
- 13:22just like cruise specific topics on the podcast, yeah let me
- 13:27know. When I started this podcast I
- 13:29envisioned it as just a forum that I could basically just talk
- 13:37about anything that I want. This is my podcast, but if y'all
- 13:44think a cruise specific podcast would be something you find
- 13:50entertaining and fun to listen to, yeah just let me know.
- 13:53The only way I take comments right now is just on the YouTube
- 13:55comments section for the YouTube version of this podcast that
- 13:59goes up. So prove it.
- 14:01A comment there. But I think I'm OK to making
- 14:04that change. Switching gears a little bit
- 14:07because I'm gonna start getting into Tiktok, which I I am a
- 14:14little excited for, but I'm also dreading at the same time
- 14:18because I'm not really a Tiktok person.
- 14:22To be really honest, I don't have a presence on Tiktok.
- 14:26I try to post a few of the videos, little snippets of the
- 14:30podcast from previous episodes onto my Tiktok channel.
- 14:36But I am getting onto Tiktok for like marketing reasons I
- 14:41mentioned before that or a couple of the businesses that I
- 14:45have. Marketing is very important, you
- 14:48know, like when you are the product or like you are trying
- 14:51to sell our product or service yourself, you need to market
- 14:55that shit. So I need to be where the
- 14:59audience is and a lot of the audience is on Tiktok and
- 15:04they're also on Instagram. So I'm gonna keys together a
- 15:08strategy is in the works. Right now I'm learning a little
- 15:11bit about it. I just need to have a presence
- 15:14on Instagram, which I kind of already have a presence already.
- 15:18I have some followers there and also on Tiktok where I have
- 15:23nothing. I'm like starting from scratch.
- 15:26So basically requires me to post regularly on both platforms.
- 15:31And I was looking into Tiktok and I had this.
- 15:34I had this notion that I I'm not on TikTok, so I don't really
- 15:38look at any of the videos. But some TikTok trends and
- 15:42videos have gone viral to the point where even being not
- 15:45really on TikTok, you kind of hear about those videos, those
- 15:48viral videos. And you also hear about some of
- 15:51the trends that are going around on Tik toks, like video trends,
- 15:57like people doing certain types of videos, for example.
- 16:00A lot of the trendy things on TikTok I don't care for to be
- 16:07really honest. I feel like a lot of videos that
- 16:10people make on social media these days are of very little
- 16:18substance and are misleading and are of advice that are not
- 16:30really based in that much truth. And they're pitching opinions as
- 16:37advice. So to take an example, I read an
- 16:42article recently and they were talking about how people wanna
- 16:47be influencers. I didn't even wanna call them
- 16:48actual influencers, wannabe influencers, or just like
- 16:51regular users on Tiktok. The thing they try to do is come
- 16:57up with new catchy phrases of like various things.
- 17:02So one phrase that there some of these tik tokers are trying to
- 17:08make happen, but like, you know it's not gonna happen.
- 17:10Stop trying to make fetch happen is loud budgeting.
- 17:16I don't even know what it is, but it's like just one example
- 17:19of like the many, many different catchphrases, quote, UN quote
- 17:23that people on social media, especially TikTok, are trying to
- 17:27make like a thing like a phrase in like the lexicon of like
- 17:31popular culture these days. But the flip side of that is
- 17:35like, people would try to like make these things just to go
- 17:38viral, like just for not even 5 minutes of fame, just for like 5
- 17:42milliseconds of fame. And then it's like old news and
- 17:46then like the Internet moves on to something else.
- 17:50So apparently there's like, somewhat recent catchphrases
- 17:53that have been made popular literally for five seconds and
- 17:57then like, we don't even talk about them anymore.
- 17:59So that's not the type of content I want to make.
- 18:04I am not trying to get onto TikTok now, and I'm not trying
- 18:08to post content to go viral. I have no desire to go viral.
- 18:14You can quote me on this in this podcast.
- 18:18Right now, I do not have a desire to go viral.
- 18:22I want to be on, I want to post regularly and have a presence on
- 18:28TikTok and Instagram because that's where the users are.
- 18:32And I'm trying to market a product or service and I need
- 18:36to, like, have a presence there. Like if you try to market
- 18:40something, you need to like, you know, have ads or have a
- 18:43presence somewhere. That's all I want.
- 18:45Being viral is definitely not the goal here.
- 18:49And a lot of people on Instagram are, yeah, they just want the
- 18:54five seconds of fame and I don't really want that.
- 18:57If I didn't need to market these products or services, I wouldn't
- 18:59be trying to go on TikTok to be completely honest.
- 19:02And my Instagram, the just Joey T Instagram.
- 19:06I started it like how a lot of other people started their
- 19:10Facebook or started their Instagram.
- 19:12It was just the post, like photos, right?
- 19:15Of things they found interesting, you know?
- 19:18And there wasn't really A to share with friends and to to
- 19:22share with the world without any ulterior motive of like, making
- 19:25money. And my Instagram is still like
- 19:28that today. I don't post a lot of photos on
- 19:32my Instagram to be really, really honest.
- 19:35And then TikTok, just all videos and videos is a medium I'm
- 19:40familiar with from my YouTube time.
- 19:42My time on YouTube. Yeah, it's.
- 19:44So that's where I'm coming from with the TikTok thing and I'm
- 19:48thinking I'm OK with making the podcast more of like a cruise
- 19:55related type podcast. There's no demand for it.
- 19:58I don't mind doing that and I'll just move my.
- 20:03Rambling. To be completely honest, I can
- 20:05do that. On Tiktok I used to vlog all the
- 20:07time. I used to vlog twice a week like
- 20:108 or 10 years ago back in like the YouTube vlogging heydays.
- 20:14And I was doing like diary style vlogs, as was popular on YouTube
- 20:19at that time. I could just do that on Tiktok
- 20:23and it would even be like a little bit easier because it
- 20:26wouldn't be these like 8 or 10 minute vlogs I would post twice
- 20:29a week like I did before you. The TikTok videos would just be
- 20:32like so short like 10/15/20 seconds.
- 20:36But I did hear recently that TikTok wants to expand into long
- 20:39format videos and maybe that's coming.
- 20:42I'll see. I'm trying to come up with like
- 20:44a strategy for anytime I post any sort of content.
- 20:49I don't just like turn the mic on, but this, this is the the
- 20:53podcast is the exception. But it's the podcast.
- 20:55I had meant for it specifically to be like a hobby somewhere
- 21:00where I can just talk and talk and talk and I don't care if
- 21:04it's successful or not successful.
- 21:06It was just a way for me to, like, talk.
- 21:10So that's why I had to come into this podcast recording studio.
- 21:16I can just hit record, turn the camera on, and I can just talk
- 21:21and it's like whatever comes in my mouth.
- 21:23Sometimes I do have certain topics I want to talk about, but
- 21:25it's totally unscripted otherwise.
- 21:27With all the other content that I create, which is all like the
- 21:31video centric content, does anything that you see on my
- 21:34YouTube, anything that you see on my only fans?
- 21:37Yes, I've got the only fans. You all know where it is,
- 21:40anything of that nature. It's very, very planned out.
- 21:45Everything that I want to film, I have idea for what the final
- 21:49product is going to look like before I even turn the camera
- 21:52on. There's like a vision and a
- 21:54strategy for all of the video content that I create, no matter
- 22:00what kind of video content it is and no matter where it ends up,
- 22:04what the distribution medium is, what platform is going to go on.
- 22:08So same for a TikTok. I don't want to start a TikTok
- 22:11and not have any sort of like strategy for it.
- 22:15If I did TikTok for fun, purely for fun, the approach would be
- 22:20very different, right? A lot of people do take that for
- 22:22fun. That's great.
- 22:25Live your best life. Same for people that do reels on
- 22:28Instagram, they post photos on Instagram.
- 22:30I follow a lot of people on Instagram, and they're mostly
- 22:35just people I've met in real life.
- 22:37They're people that I know, and that's how I follow the
- 22:40Instagram and they post like for fun, like I can.
- 22:44I know that they're not trying to be like an influencer.
- 22:47They're just posting things that they do, places that they go,
- 22:51things that they see. And that's great.
- 22:54And a lot of people do that because they're doing it just
- 22:58for fun, you know, They're just doing it to like share with
- 23:00their friends and whoever else cares to follow them.
- 23:03Photos are taking videos that they're taking and there's no
- 23:06like end game beyond, which is great, which is awesome, which
- 23:09is like what my Instagram is right now.
- 23:12But like I said, I'm trying to get on Tiktok particularly,
- 23:16basically market myself like I'm on only fans now and I'm the
- 23:21product and there is kind of like A2 full purpose to that.
- 23:27Yes, I need to mark it myself and that's why I'm going to go
- 23:29on like Instagram and also like that specific Instagram channel
- 23:33that I have for the other persona.
- 23:35But The thing is, there's also a bit of a demand from my fan
- 23:40base. It's so weird to use the word
- 23:42fan base like I have like fans, but there there's a, there's a
- 23:46small little fan base where they want to see more of me outside
- 23:51of like just the Cruise, like just the Cruise videos where I'm
- 23:54talking about Cruise topics or I'm making these Cruise movies.
- 23:57And also outside of the explicit, only fans, content
- 24:02that's just like that only lives in behind the pay wall and also
- 24:06like a little bit on Twitter. So even for people who work in
- 24:12the adult content industry, right, people that do only fans
- 24:15I think is a great example that will do it as amateurs, if you
- 24:19will. Amateurs, quote UN quote,
- 24:22they're still making money from it.
- 24:23It's great to see the like porn because that's probably what the
- 24:29vast majority of their fans are there for.
- 24:33But it's also nice to see sometimes for certain fans.
- 24:37Some people don't want to see how the sausage is made and they
- 24:38don't want to see anything else besides the porn.
- 24:41But it's also nice to sometimes see oh the creator is a real
- 24:45person, and it's nice to see what they're up to outside of
- 24:50like, getting fucked, you know what I mean?
- 24:53Not everybody wants to see that though.
- 24:56I feel like, you know, sometimes with porn stars, you just want
- 25:02to see them in porn because that's the fantasy that they
- 25:09create for you. And to see any part of them
- 25:13outside of porn breaks that fantasy, and that's completely
- 25:17OK. But sometimes, on the other
- 25:20hand, sometimes it's nice, especially for people that do
- 25:24like only fans that are more like they're amateurs.
- 25:26They're not like the professional studio level kind
- 25:29of porn stars. It's kind of nice to see.
- 25:31Yes, they do the videos, but it's also nice to see them in a
- 25:36context that's not porn. For example, it's very popular
- 25:40to follow like thirst trap Instagram accounts and follow
- 25:44like the hot pretty people or whatever on Instagram.
- 25:48There are a lot of those types of photos and videos on
- 25:51Instagram, right? And that's not porn.
- 25:53But it's like it's thirsty content, thirsty yet not
- 25:58explicit content. Facebook and Instagram really
- 26:02like have a very clear relying on that.
- 26:05So by the way, just make sure you don't step that line because
- 26:09if you get your Instagram, Facebook account or whatever
- 26:13banned or blocked or deleted or whatever, it is very hard if not
- 26:18impossible to get your account back.
- 26:21So just make sure you're not posting anything too Thursday on
- 26:27your Facebook slash Instagrams all run by meta.
- 26:30So it's like kind of probably like the same content moderation
- 26:33teams. It's not that uncommon for
- 26:36people to have your Instagram account deleted or just like,
- 26:40yeah, it's deleted basically, or like, banned.
- 26:43And I always hear people say, oh, my account got banned and I
- 26:46don't know why. And like, I know exactly why.
- 26:49It's because you're posting, like, extremely thirsty content.
- 26:53And it was just like, borderline questionable whether this is
- 26:57like sexually arousing content or not.
- 27:00So with Instagram and TikTok, Facebook, those types of things
- 27:06you can't be, you can't post any content, especially photos and
- 27:12videos that are like too suggestive, too sexually
- 27:15suggestive. So you just got to play like
- 27:17pretty conservative over on those platforms.
- 27:20And honestly, that line that you can't cross gets more and more
- 27:24conservative by the day. And it has over the years.
- 27:27That's all the can of worms I'm not going to get into.
- 27:29Yeah, but anyways, yeah, so that's why I'm going to go on
- 27:32TikTok. It's I'm the product now, you
- 27:35know I do only fans. I'm the performer or the model.
- 27:39I'm the product. And yeah, it's nice to have a
- 27:44presence outside of just only fans or just for fans or
- 27:48whatever the wherever the host, the paywalls are.
- 27:52But some people do. Wanna follow their favorite
- 27:57performer or actor or OF person or whatever outside the confines
- 28:02of just the porn videos? And they, you know, what?
- 28:06Am I having like a shirtless picture from you once in a while
- 28:10on your Instagram or like a or a thirst trap from you on
- 28:16Instagram or like a shirtless video from you doing like
- 28:20whatever on their TikTok? So yeah, that's why I'm doing
- 28:26the TikTok and I'm gonna do like Instagram reels and things like
- 28:29that. But it has to be from the
- 28:31content creator side of things. I'm not the kind of person that
- 28:35I can just like randomly take a video of throw it out there.
- 28:38I have a very methodical process for any sort of video content
- 28:43that I create. So yeah, there's going to be
- 28:46like, if you want to know how the sausage is made, there's a
- 28:50posting schedule that I have, Like for my only fans, for
- 28:52example, there's a schedule. I've got a calendar and it's all
- 28:56color-coded. I've got a spreadsheet of every
- 28:59single video I've ever filmed and edited and have posted so
- 29:05that I can keep track of like every single video, everything
- 29:09that I post on my Twitter, which is explicit, not safe for work.
- 29:12There's a posting schedule for that, like different days of the
- 29:15week. I post different things.
- 29:16If I want to run a promotion or something that goes on the
- 29:19calendar. So I look at a calendar and I
- 29:20look at my list of all the content that I have and then I
- 29:24look at, you know, all the platforms that I have and I'm
- 29:27like, OK, we have this new collab that it's coming out,
- 29:31It's going to post it on Friday, OK.
- 29:34We need like the teaser clips, like the 10 second teaser clips,
- 29:37like 32nd teaser clips. OK, the 32nd PC clip will go on
- 29:41like to go into the only fans, the free only fans page and then
- 29:46it'll go on to this other Tencent clip will go on to
- 29:50Twitter and then this other clip will go on to this other
- 29:54platform platform for marketing or whatever.
- 29:57So there's a lot of business like marketing especially, and
- 30:03branding and a lot of like content management and managing
- 30:06the social media. There's a lot of that that goes
- 30:09on behind the scenes. Filming the video is the easy
- 30:13part. Actually editing the video
- 30:17editing takes a lot of time. Some people like it, a lot of
- 30:22people don't. I'm like neutral about it.
- 30:24But then all the work that goes into selling and marketing that
- 30:29video out, it's it's a lot of work and it's not particularly
- 30:37sexy. It's not as sexy as the end
- 30:40video product for sure, but I kind of find the whole business
- 30:44of it, everything overall to be very interesting.
- 30:48I'm pretty interested in the business side of things and I'm
- 30:51learning a lot about various marketing and sales things that
- 30:57I had zero experience or skills in before.
- 31:01So like I said, that's a very long way of me explaining why
- 31:06I'm going to be on TikTok and why, Yeah, why I'm going to be
- 31:10there. You know, like the the reasons
- 31:12behind it. Yeah.
- 31:13So we'll end the podcast there. Yeah baby, maybe I should make
- 31:19the podcast more cruise specific because while this goes on to
- 31:24the YouTube channel, the YouTube channel is pretty much just all
- 31:27about the cruising and the parties.
- 31:28And then I can take my non cruise content rambling over
- 31:34onto TikTok where I'm going to be under a different name.
- 31:38But I feel like they're just Joey T branding.
- 31:41It's very strongly associated with the cruise videos because
- 31:45people come to me like oh are you just Joey And yes I am.
- 31:48So yeah, let me know what you think.
- 31:51Branding is like so important in today's world and I would love
- 31:54to just have the just Joey T branding just be about the
- 31:57cruises because all everyone kind of sort of associates that.
- 32:00Anyways, that was just my personal, like, username for my
- 32:06online social media accounts from like 12 years ago, and it's
- 32:09evolved into the YouTube videos. So everyone associates just Joey
- 32:13T with Cruise videos, which is fine.
- 32:16And then maybe I would just take my other persona, which is the
- 32:20key in Persona and maybe that's where I'll have like my own
- 32:25personal whatever stuff that's like not cruise related.
- 32:29What do you guys think? We've had a comment down on the
- 32:31YouTube channel below. Yeah, but until next time, I.
