- 0:19Hello, and welcome to episode 313 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:36Happy Monday, a new week begins guys.
- 0:39Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July and 4th of July
- 0:42weekend. And you know what?
- 0:44We had an extra special 4th of July weekend because when I woke
- 0:47up to sweat the Nathan's hot Dog eating contest, boy did it come
- 0:52through in terms of a data-driven play that not only
- 0:54won but beat the closing line. And it was not easy because if
- 0:58you remember going to the hot dog contest again, you can
- 1:01laugh, you can roll your eyes, but I don't think anyone's
- 1:04rolling their eyes anymore because boy do we cap that thing
- 1:06perfectly. Remember it opened at 71 1/2
- 1:09total hot dogs by Joey Chestnut. We all knew he would win, but
- 1:13that price was way too high -2500 so he focused on the Total
- 1:16dogs as an all systems go pod best bet pick for the 4th of
- 1:20July hot dog contest. But anyway, 71 1/2 opener.
- 1:24First thing that jumped out to me was it was juiced under -125
- 1:27it actually got juiced up to -135 The other angle that was
- 1:31important to me was that Circa actually put out a opening
- 1:34number at 70 1/2. So a really sharp book like
- 1:37Circa was kind of more bullish on the under than some of these
- 1:40other books like Bet MGM who actually offered under 71 1/2 at
- 1:44plus 110 juice, which is what I got down on.
- 1:47Anyway, we start the contest and I can tell you the way I capped
- 1:51it at a little notebook, a little like a piece of paper,
- 1:54and I basically had at each minute mark where Chestnut would
- 1:57have to be in order to cash the under 71 half.
- 2:00So it's basically, you know, could he have seven dogs a
- 2:03minute? So after one minute, we needed
- 2:05him at 7, after 2 minutes, 14, after three minutes, you know,
- 2:0921 and so on and so forth. Well, I got nervous because on
- 2:13the one hand, he was at a record pace earlier on.
- 2:16He was like 9 dogs per minute. And I was like, oh, this ain't
- 2:19good. And the other angle here was
- 2:21that we beat the closing line because it closed at 69 1/2.
- 2:24So under 71 1/2, we're feeling good.
- 2:27Closes 69 1/2. But Chestnut goes nuts to start,
- 2:31basically averaging 9/9 a little bit.
- 2:34I think it was like 9.2 dogs per minute.
- 2:36I'm like, OK, Jesus, here's another bet where we do our part
- 2:39and then, you know, we don't get the brakes.
- 2:41But luckily he had a huge lead. And here was the angle you knew,
- 2:46if you've ever seen hot dog contest before, is that as the
- 2:49contest continues and gets deeper into the 10 minutes, you
- 2:52get to the seven 8-9 minute mark.
- 2:55These athletes, we'll call them athletes, they slow down.
- 2:57It's harder to crush dogs when you got a full stomach.
- 3:00And and the longer you go, you really start to eat less and
- 3:03less. So even though he was way over
- 3:06pace, like at one point he was on pace to have like, I think
- 3:09like almost 80 hot dogs kept falling, falling, falling.
- 3:13Anyway, it lands exactly at 70 1/2.
- 3:18So isn't that a great outcome? We had under 71 1/2 that landed
- 3:2170 1/2. Here's the crazy thing though
- 3:23about sports betting. Early bird get in the worm and
- 3:26the importance of closing line value because under 71 1/2, we
- 3:29won because it landed at 70 1/2, but it actually closed 69.
- 3:33Enough so if you're late to the party and you got under 69 1/2,
- 3:36you're getting the worst of it. And actually at that point,
- 3:38buying low and going over be able to cash that one.
- 3:42But shout out to the crew here on the ASG pod because we were
- 3:44able to get a winner on 4th of July.
- 3:46It's always nice to start your holiday weekend, you know,
- 3:49before you start, you know, drinking and having some fun and
- 3:52watching the fireworks with a winner.
- 3:55The other angle there was Can you imagine if you had middled
- 3:57that thing you got under 71 1/2, then you bottomed out and took
- 4:00over 69 1/2. You'd go down in history being
- 4:04able to middle a hot dog contest.
- 4:05But anyway, I went to a couple parties.
- 4:08We celebrated the 4th of July at my in laws in New Hampshire and
- 4:12then went to my buddy Devin's house for 1/5 of July cookout,
- 4:15which was a lot of fun. Hope everyone had a great
- 4:17holiday weekend and again, the highlight for me was was getting
- 4:21a winner in the hot dog contest under 71 1/2 baby.
- 4:25Now with that being said, we're going to flip the page here.
- 4:28We'll wait until next year's 4th of July Again, you can maybe
- 4:31you're starting to understand why I love that that contest so
- 4:33much. There's just something
- 4:34different, something amazing about it.
- 4:37The gluttony of America and being able to gamble on it too.
- 4:39That's pretty cool. But anyway, flipping the page
- 4:42we're going to get right back to Major League Baseball.
- 4:44It's a smaller than usual slate today.
- 4:46There's only 10 games overall, but I did find 3 bets that
- 4:49caught my eye in terms of very sharp line moves with some
- 4:52really good sharp mush edges from our friends at Juice Rail.
- 4:55And oh by the way, if you look at pretty much every game today,
- 4:58almost every game, the line is moving toward the underdog.
- 5:01So can we get dogs to bark? All three bets for me today guys
- 5:04are dogs. So let's see if we can get some
- 5:07dogs to show up today and cash some plus money tickets.
- 5:10So 3 pack overall, we could find a way to go 2 in one with some
- 5:13plus money payouts. It'll produce a pretty good
- 5:15winning night. So knock on wood, let's try to
- 5:17get 2 out of three. With that being said, let's
- 5:20waste no more time and start breaking down some games doing
- 5:22what we love to do, betting on baseball and the dog days of
- 5:26summer before football comes back.
- 5:28But anyway, first but on the board for me, 6:40 PM Eastern
- 5:31Time. First pitch, let's go to Detroit
- 5:33where the Tigers are hosting the Tampa Bay Rays.
- 5:36Now going into this one, the Rays are 49 and 41 on the year.
- 5:39Did just drop two or three though against the Twins.
- 5:42Avoided the sweep. They won yesterday's series
- 5:44finale 7 to 5 in extra innings, cashing as a + 110 Rd. dog.
- 5:49You know the Tigers continue to have a great year. 57 and 34
- 5:53overall. Just swept the Guardians.
- 5:55They won seven to two in extra innings yesterday.
- 5:58Came through as a - 225 Rd. favorite.
- 6:01That was one of the worst bad beats.
- 6:02If you had that under, I didn't have it, thank God.
- 6:05But under 7 1/2 I believe. What was it a two to two game or
- 6:08a 2 to one game? It basically that you had no run
- 6:11scored almost and throughout the full 9 innings.
- 6:14Then they go nuts. The Tigers do an extra, so pour
- 6:17one out for anyone who had that under yesterday.
- 6:19But anyway, pitching match up for tonight.
- 6:21The Rays are going with the righty Shane Baz.
- 6:24He's 8 and three with a 4.33 ERA.
- 6:27Tigers meanwhile are going to go with the righty Kaider Montero.
- 6:30He's three and one with a four point O2 ERA.
- 6:32So what have you seen across the market for this one?
- 6:35Well, this is kind of interesting and has to do with
- 6:37the importance of a live odds page and getting updates as soon
- 6:41as a pitching change or a starter is announced.
- 6:43Because initially I woke, I went to bed last night, woke up this
- 6:47morning. We didn't know who was going to
- 6:48pitch for Detroit. We knew it was going to be Shane
- 6:50Baz for Tampa. But we opened Tampa Bay -130 Rd.
- 6:54favorite Detroit A + 110 Rd. Detroit A + 110 home dog here.
- 7:01And what's jumping out to me, or was notable to me, is that when
- 7:05it was TBD, Mr. TBD on the bump, Mr. Toby decided we were sitting
- 7:09at -130 Tampa. But as soon as Montero was
- 7:13announced as the Tiger starter, the line really shot down toward
- 7:17Detroit. So when Montero was announced
- 7:19in, we saw the Rays fall from -130 to -125 Now you're down as
- 7:24low as you know -110 -. 115 Tigers meanwhile, went from plus
- 7:28110 to plus one O 5. Now I'm seeing Tigers at -1 O 5.
- 7:33So basically this is becoming a bit of a dog to pick em like
- 7:37this is almost becoming a pick em game.
- 7:39With money flowing in on Detroit now, I jumped in on Detroit at
- 7:42plus one O 5 again. If you want to follow these
- 7:44plays and hopefully get some good COV, you can always of
- 7:48course sign up to get the all systems go.
- 7:50Best bet picks from the Juicer Lab for $4.99 a week.
- 7:54But was notable to me in terms of just that line movement
- 7:57toward Detroit is the fact that it DraftKings it's a pretty good
- 8:00bet split on the Tigers. Only 62% of money line bets, but
- 8:0474% of money line dollars. So basically slight public
- 8:08support but also respected sharp action in favor of Detroit which
- 8:12lines up with that line move. Now system matches.
- 8:15I got 4 lit up on Detroit. One would be when both teams are
- 8:19coming off a win, just take the home dog.
- 8:21Very simple system, but it's 20 and 1263 percent, 28% ROI this
- 8:27year. Monday home teams with a line
- 8:29move in their favor 45 and 2564% with a 10% ROI.
- 8:35Monday dogs off a win with a line move in their favor. 16 and
- 8:39eight this year, 67 percent, 42% ROI.
- 8:43And oh, by the way, the tigers have really done well against
- 8:46quote UN quote bad teams. And I'm not going to call Tampa
- 8:49a bad team, but teams who missed the the playoffs the previous
- 8:51year, the Tigers are 37 and 19 against those teams. 66 percent,
- 8:5712% ROI. So all these system matches are
- 9:00lighting up on Detroit. Now, the Tigers do have some
- 9:02correlative betting value. This total is 8 1/2.
- 9:05So again, line of demarcation is 8/8 and 1/2.
- 9:08If you're 8 1/2 or more, that's considered a high total.
- 9:10If you're 8 or less, that's considered a low total.
- 9:13But if I'm going to dog, you know, I'll check off the box of
- 9:16being a dog in a high total game.
- 9:18Typically that's a good sign. The few the more expected run
- 9:21scored, the more variants, the more upset opportunities.
- 9:25You also could Detroit in terms of their offense, more explosive
- 9:29offense here with the Tigers. They've hit 116 home runs,
- 9:32They've scored 456 runs. Tampa's hit 101 homers, scored
- 9:37431 runs. Last 10 games Tigers were
- 9:40playing pretty well. They're seven and three over
- 9:42their last ten and they have a team ERA of 3.13 raised.
- 9:46Meanwhile, four and six over their last 10 ERA of 5.63.
- 9:51Also, look at Kyder Montero. He's 2 and O with a 3.86 ERA at
- 9:55home this year and he made four starts in June.
- 9:58Only give up seven runs in 20.1 innings pitch.
- 10:01That is good for a 3.1 O ERA. And oh by the way, Detroit 30
- 10:06and 14 at home this season. That's tied for the third best
- 10:09home record in baseball. Little cherry on top.
- 10:12It's nothing amazing. It's not a huge sharp mush edge,
- 10:15but I did pop open the juice real app and notice a 5% sharp
- 10:19mush edge lighting up here on Detroit.
- 10:21So 5% more of the sharper winning betters are going
- 10:24Tigers. So again, Tampa open as the
- 10:26favorite. But once Montero was announced,
- 10:28you saw a flood of money hit the Tigers.
- 10:30I'm going to take a shot on Detroit tonight, guys.
- 10:32Good sharp line move, good system matches.
- 10:35I got the Tigers at plus one O 5 again.
- 10:37Shop around. Looks like your best price
- 10:39around -1 O 5 at this point. Next, but on the board, couple
- 10:43late night sweats on the West Coast.
- 10:45Let's go to a 9:38 PM Eastern Time.
- 10:47First pitch between the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles
- 10:51Angels. Now the Rangers come into this
- 10:53144 and 46 on the year. Just dropped two or three though
- 10:58ago, or two or three I should say, against the Padres over the
- 11:01weekend. They lost 4 to 1 yesterday as a
- 11:04+ 110 Rd. dog. Meanwhile, the Halos 43 and 46,
- 11:08they just got swept by the Blue Jays.
- 11:10They lost 3 to 2 yesterday as a + 155 Rd. dog.
- 11:14So pitching match up tonight. Couple good pitchers on the
- 11:16bump. Rangers are going to go with the
- 11:18righty Jacob degrom, who's finally healthy and having a
- 11:21great year. Nine and two 2.13 ERA.
- 11:24Angels, though, going with you say Kikuchi, whose record
- 11:27doesn't look great, 3:00 and 6:00, but a 2.81 ERA, she's been
- 11:30pretty good. Now, what have we seen across
- 11:33the market for this one? Will this game open?
- 11:35Rangers around a -, 145 Rd. favorite Los Angeles a + 125
- 11:40home dog. And the public is saying give me
- 11:42degrom all day. I get it.
- 11:44You know, he's a great pitcher. Currently, you are getting 75%
- 11:49of money line bets at DraftKings on Texas.
- 11:52However, Texas opens -145 they're getting three out of
- 11:55four bets. We would assume that they'd be
- 11:57up to, you know -150 -, 160. But Nope, it's gone the other
- 12:01way. Even though Texas is getting a
- 12:03big majority of public support. The Lions actually falling
- 12:06toward the LA Angels. So we've seen the Texas Rangers
- 12:09fall -145 to -135 coincidentally, we've now seen
- 12:15Los Angeles fall from plus 125 to plus 1/15.
- 12:19So why is the line falling toward the Angels when everyone
- 12:23and their mother, all the average Joe's drunk at the bar
- 12:26still hungover after 4th of July weekend?
- 12:28Their hammer in Texas tells me we have a classic reverse line
- 12:31move. Public Texas line going to the
- 12:34unpopular Angels tells me smart money here is coming in on the
- 12:37Halos. I jumped on tech.
- 12:39The Angels by the way, at plus 118 looks like plus 1/15 at Bet
- 12:43MGM is now your best price. But aside from that reverse line
- 12:47move, couple system matches Monday home teams with a line
- 12:50move in their direction, 45 and 2564 percent, 10% ROI.
- 12:55Remember that just matched with Detroit Angels, by the way, as a
- 12:59dog, they're 32 and 38, only a 46% win rate.
- 13:03But because of the plus money payouts when you're a dog,
- 13:06they've actually produced an 11% ROI.
- 13:08That's that makes them the fourth most profitable dog team
- 13:12in baseball. Los Angeles does have some
- 13:15divisional dog value. So couple teams here from the AL
- 13:18West built in familiarity levels the playing field, benefits the
- 13:22team getting plus money. Angels do have the more
- 13:24explosive bats. They've hit 129 home runs,
- 13:28scored 379 runs. Rangers.
- 13:31Rangers have only hit 90 homers, scored 340 runs.
- 13:34Now, degrom's numbers are great. Home Rd.
- 13:37You know, it doesn't matter, but Kikuchi might be getting
- 13:40overlooked in this one. He's three and one with a 1.12
- 13:44ERA at home this year. And oh, by the way, the Texas
- 13:47Rangers lineup, they're hitting 216 as a team against southpaws.
- 13:52That ranks 29th in baseball. So one of the worst hitting
- 13:55offense is against a lefty and they're facing Kikuchi, who's a
- 13:58lefty. By the way, Angels 20 and 20 at
- 14:01home. So they're 500 team, but the
- 14:03Rangers only 18 and 27 on the road.
- 14:06That's the sixth worst Rd. record in baseball.
- 14:10Last little cherry on top here, and it's kind of a big cherry on
- 14:13top. It popped open the Juice Reel
- 14:15app and noticed a 28% sharp mush edge on the angels.
- 14:19So that's a pretty good one. When I'm looking at a sharp mush
- 14:21edge, you know, ideally if I've capped the game and you know,
- 14:25I'm sweating one side, I at least want any kind of like a 2
- 14:27percent, 1%, just anything positive.
- 14:29I just don't want the sharp mush edge on the opponent.
- 14:33But if you can get in the double digits 28%, I mean that's pretty
- 14:36good. That tells me a lot of the sharp
- 14:38winning betters to have downloaded juicer like you guys
- 14:41are also like in the angels here.
- 14:43So public Texas lines fall into the Angels.
- 14:46I'm going to take a shot on on Los Angeles here.
- 14:48I got them plus 118 again, shop around.
- 14:51Most books now down to around plus 115.
- 14:54Last bed of the night. Let's stay on the West Coast.
- 14:57Let's go to San Francisco. So let's go a little bit north
- 15:00in the great state of California. 9:45 PM Eastern
- 15:03Time, the Philadelphia Phillies visiting the San Francisco G
- 15:07man. Now going into this one, the
- 15:09Phills 53 and 37 on the year, just took two or three against
- 15:13the Reds. They won three to 1 yesterday as
- 15:15a -, 235 Rd. favorite. You know, the G men, 49 and 42
- 15:20just took 2, two of three against the Athletics.
- 15:23They won six to two yesterday as a plus one O 5 Rd. dog.
- 15:27So pitching match up here. We do have the Phillies going
- 15:30with the lefty Christopher Sanchez.
- 15:32He's seven and two with a 2.68 ERA.
- 15:35Meanwhile, the G men are going with the ready Landon Roop, who
- 15:38is 6 and five with a 3.48 ERA. So what have you seen across the
- 15:42market for this one? Well, if you like the Detroit
- 15:45Tigers and you like the Angels, I think you'll like the San
- 15:48Francisco Giants. I got the Giants here guys.
- 15:51As a Sox fan, I'm going to sweat my guy Devers here tonight
- 15:54because Philly open this game around a -, 145 Rd. favorite.
- 15:57San Fran are on a + 130 home dog and the public is all over the
- 16:01Phills. Sanchez has got a good ERA.
- 16:04You know they're popular team. They got a good win loss record.
- 16:07But even though 71% of money line bets are on Philly, again,
- 16:11just like that Texas game, the line didn't move further toward
- 16:14the popular Rd. favorite actually fell toward the home
- 16:17dog. I've seen the Phillies, even
- 16:19though they're getting nearly three out of four bets fall from
- 16:21-145 down to -135 that coincidentally pushed the Giants
- 16:26down from plus 1:30 to plus 1/15.
- 16:29So it tells me big smart money here, taking the plus money with
- 16:32the Giants at home. It's also very important.
- 16:35You may or may not know I host this pod.
- 16:37Of course I'm an author, but I'm also a sports betting analyst at
- 16:40VSON where you can get the bet splits from both DraftKings and
- 16:43Circa, which I reference on the pod.
- 16:45But this is really important because at DraftKings public is
- 16:48all over the the Phillies, 71% of bets.
- 16:51But out at Circa, it's the opposite story at Circa, which
- 16:55is a sharp book, different clientele, not really a lot of
- 16:58public dumb, you know, drunk guy at the bar money, but respected
- 17:02money. 70% of bets are not on the Phills, but they're on the
- 17:05Giants and the Giants are getting nearly 90% of money line
- 17:09dollars. So that tells me that even
- 17:11though nationally speaking, the public is on Texas or sorry on
- 17:15Philly at Circa sharp money is here going San Francisco with
- 17:19that low bets, higher dollar split.
- 17:21Now I do have three system matches on San Fran when both
- 17:24teams are coming off a win. Take the home dog, 20 and 12
- 17:27this year, 63 percent, 28% ROI. Monday home teams with a line
- 17:32move in their favor, 45 and 2564 percent, 10% ROI And Monday,
- 17:37dogs off a win will a line move in their favor 16 and 867
- 17:41percent, 42% ROI. Sanchez has been great.
- 17:45Any kind of numbers you throw at me, you know they'll be
- 17:47impressive. But Roop again, maybe getting
- 17:49overlooked at home this year. 2 and one 1.85 ERA.
- 17:53The G men are four and one in his last five starts.
- 17:56Also, this is a low, ER, low total game. 7 1/2.
- 17:59If we got to sweat this one and it's close, I'll take the San
- 18:02Francisco bullpen. They have a 2.96 bullpen ERA
- 18:06that is number one in baseball. You look at the Phillies eighth
- 18:10worst bullpen in baseball ERA of 4.32.
- 18:14San Fran, by the way, 25 and 17 at home.
- 18:17They're four and two at home as a home dog.
- 18:20So we got public Philly line fall in the San Fran last little
- 18:24cherry on top that I like. It's one of those days where
- 18:27hey, sharp mush is with us 6%, nothing crazy, but 6% sharp mush
- 18:32edge on San Francisco. So a little sharp mush edge.
- 18:35Big smart money, great bet. Split out of it in Vegas at
- 18:38Circa. I took a shot on the G men at
- 18:41plus 1/15 and shop around some books.
- 18:45Most books still plus 115, but a few others look like it may be
- 18:48getting down to plus 110. So Tigers, Angels and Giants, we
- 18:52find a way to get two out of three again with some dog
- 18:55payouts. That would be a pretty nice
- 18:57start to the week. So that about does it for
- 19:00episode 313 of the all systems Go sports betting podcast
- 19:04powered by rhythm. Of course, this is the part of
- 19:06the pod where we wrap things up and I start first by saying
- 19:09thank you. Thank you for taking the time
- 19:11out of your day, out of your busy lives, out of your, you
- 19:14know, busy holiday weekend to pull up a chair to the virtual
- 19:17bar and sweat some sharp data-driven breakdowns with me.
- 19:21Whether your tail fade, pick and choose, sit back and just like
- 19:24to listen to the breakdowns. It means a lot to me that you
- 19:27guys take the time to listen and tune into the pod.
- 19:30If you do enjoy the pod, if you want to help me grow the pod,
- 19:32let me know you appreciate the insights.
- 19:34Please could you think about giving the pod a five star
- 19:36review on Spotify or iTunes? If you want to leave a nice
- 19:40comment under the review section or click the follow button or
- 19:43recommend the pod to a friend, I would very much appreciate that
- 19:46as well. Next, if you enjoy the style of
- 19:49bedding breakdown, data-driven, sharp contrarian bedding maybe.
- 19:53And again, the beauty of data-driven bedding is that you
- 19:56don't have to know like which sport or the intricacies of each
- 19:59sport. But if you can read the market
- 20:01like again, maybe there's some of you who had never bet a hot
- 20:04dog contest before in your life, but you notice the juice, the
- 20:06line movement. And as a data-driven approach,
- 20:09you're able to catch the under chestnut hot dogs by a whisker.
- 20:12But if you want to learn more about data-driven betting, if
- 20:14you want to let me know you appreciate the pod.
- 20:16If you have someone in your life who could use a few data-driven
- 20:18tips, maybe someone looking to get into betting for the first
- 20:21time, or someone who bets and loses a lot and wants to get
- 20:24better. I'd love for you guys to go to
- 20:26Amazon.com and type in the Everything Guide to Sports
- 20:30Betting. That's the first book I ever
- 20:32wrote. I'm very proud of it.
- 20:33Let's get everything I've learned in the industry.
- 20:35How lines are set, how and why they move, how to read line
- 20:38movement, how to locate sharp action, how to place a bet in
- 20:40person or online, how to shop for the best line, how to set up
- 20:44a bankroll management plan, chapters on all the major
- 20:46sports. It's all included in the
- 20:48Everything Guide to Sports Betting.
- 20:50Now while you're at it picking up the Everything Guide, stay on
- 20:52Amazon.com and then type in the NFL Sharp Betting Playbook.
- 20:57That's my new book. It comes out August 12th.
- 21:00It's basically 5 weeks away, which is crazy.
- 21:03But if you want to make me happy and make my publisher triumph
- 21:06looks happy, think about pre ordering a copy and getting
- 21:09ready for the NFL season by brushing up on the data-driven
- 21:12approach to betting the NFL. So grab the Everything Guide and
- 21:16the NFL Sharp Betting Playbook, bring them to the sports book
- 21:19and I'll sign them for you and I'll buy you a beer or ginger
- 21:21ale. We'll sweat some games together
- 21:24next. Have you downloaded Rhythm and
- 21:26Juice Reel yet? My two favorite sports betting
- 21:28apps because they're based on data, not opinion, not bias, not
- 21:31favoritism. Rhythm does a great job of
- 21:33powering this pod with her AI backed models and predictions
- 21:36for game bets and player props. We have WWNBA and MLB right now
- 21:41live in the app for game bets and player props.
- 21:44Also, you got to go download Juice Reel.
- 21:46This is the part of the pod where I'm going to pass the hat
- 21:49because if you enjoy this pod, remember it's free.
- 21:51It costs you nothing to listen. So if you want to, you know,
- 21:54support the pod, I'm passing the hat.
- 21:56I consider it a tip jar. If you go out to dinner and your
- 22:00your server treats you well or you go to the bar and your
- 22:02bartender takes care of you, you tip your bartender, you tip your
- 22:05server well. If you want to tip me, I would
- 22:08love to for you to do it in the form of signing up for the all
- 22:11systems go best bet picks from the Juice reel app.
- 22:14You can do it by clicking the link that I tweet out late
- 22:17afternoon each day at Josh under Score Insights.
- 22:19Or you can just download Juice Reel, click buy sell, bottom
- 22:23right corner of the app, and then type in ASG under score
- 22:26podcast. It costs $4.99 a week.
- 22:29It's basically a cup of coffee or half a cup of coffee.
- 22:33There's my little Boston accent there.
- 22:35If you're like my wife and go to Starbucks, it's like half a
- 22:37Starbucks coffee of what it called a venti or a little.
- 22:40I don't even know the different names.
- 22:42You can't just call it small, medium, large.
- 22:44Anyway, $4.99 a week. You'll get the best bets
- 22:47officially as soon as I place them synced up to my books that
- 22:51go right to Juice Rail. You can again hopefully pick off
- 22:54some good numbers and some CLV, but with Juice Rail you're also
- 22:56going to get the Robo Jackson best bet picks, the sharp mush
- 22:59indicators, the arbitrage plays. Shop for the best line features
- 23:02and again, sync up your books. Get a running report card of
- 23:05your action. Lastly, do you have a live odds
- 23:09page? Well, you need one.
- 23:11If you don't have one, you need one.
- 23:12You're you're flying blind. You're up the Creek without a
- 23:15paddle. The live odds page allows you to
- 23:17track the market. And this is this pod and this
- 23:19style of betting is all about data-driven betting.
- 23:21And the live odds page is your best source of data because you
- 23:24got to know what the games are available to bet that day.
- 23:27The start times, the live scoring.
- 23:29You got to be able to shop for the best line.
- 23:31You got to be able to pick off good numbers.
- 23:33You got to notice line movement and also give you an example of
- 23:36the beauty of the odds logic. Live odds page is that when I
- 23:39was looking at the Detroit Tigers game today, at first it
- 23:43said TBD, don't know the starting pitcher, but there are
- 23:46notifications on odds logic and I have one of them set up for
- 23:49starting pitchers or injuries and I saw pop up top right
- 23:53corner. I tweeted this out earlier at
- 23:55Josh under score insights, but a little pop up that said, hey,
- 23:58Kyder Montero expected to start or has been named the starter
- 24:01for Detroit. So just a little another kind of
- 24:03a benefit to the odds logic live odds page.
- 24:07So I'd love for you guys to give odds logic a shot.
- 24:09I was actually talking to my guy James Perez earlier today.
- 24:12We go way back and he was asking about odds logic.
- 24:15To me it's the best live odds page and the best value in terms
- 24:19of the price. It's 99 bucks a month if you
- 24:22decide to keep it. But before you get there, just
- 24:25give it a shot with a 7 day free trial and 50% off your first
- 24:28month. So get it for basically 49 bucks
- 24:31for the first month. By going to this special
- 24:33specific link you got to go to oddslogic.com/josh 123.
- 24:40So that about does it for episode 3/3/13 of the All
- 24:45Systems Go sports Betting pod powered by Rhythm.
- 24:48As always, I'm leave you with two final thoughts.
- 24:49One, whether I see you at the Borgata and Atlantic City, Twin
- 24:53River in Rhode Island, the Brooklyn, New Hampshire,
- 24:55Foxwoods or Mohegan Sundown in Connecticut, at the Encore in
- 24:58Boston or Plain Ridge park casino R.E.M.
- 25:00Gem Springfield in my neck of the woods in Massachusetts,
- 25:04around in the desert where the true grinders get down.
- 25:06Or Billy Walter sends his number runners where the lowest true as
- 25:09possible is found at the South Point.
- 25:11Or sweat and sharp contrarian plays jumping in the stadium
- 25:13swimming pool. When you cash a big ticket at
- 25:16Circa, you're going to walk up to me and hopefully you're not
- 25:19hungover anymore. You've recovered from your 4th
- 25:22of July festivities. But we're just going to look at
- 25:23each other. You know what we should do?
- 25:25We should meet up at the South Point.
- 25:27I think they still do it, but they usually have a hot dog cart
- 25:30where you can get a hot dog for $1.50 and they taste pretty
- 25:33good. But we're going to look at each
- 25:35other, grab a hot dog, and then we're going to cash and smile at
- 25:39our Joey Chestnut under 71 1/2 dogs.
- 25:42Again, that thing was a sweat and a half landed at 70 1/2.
- 25:46The unofficial 1 initially said 71, but man, that's sort of a
- 25:50lifetime there. But first one's on me, next
- 25:52one's on you. We'll post about the book and
- 25:54sweat some sharp baseball games tonight Together as always,
- 25:57guys, great day, terrible day. You know, 3 and OO and three,
- 26:02two and one, one and two. Whether we're hot or cold or
- 26:05just always grinding. Seems like you're always
- 26:07grinding when you're getting any kind of sport because betting is
- 26:10tough. You got to keep keep sticking
- 26:12with it. But whether we're hot or cold,
- 26:14up or down, again, we got to stick to the model, stick to the
- 26:17blueprint, not let a good day or good streak or bad day or cold
- 26:21streak affect us, talk us into a bad bet or out of a good one.
- 26:25We just got to keep grinding this model.
- 26:27And again, it's not a get rich quick overnight.
- 26:29It's not a become a millionaire overnight.
- 26:31We're just trying to steadily build our bankroll with that
- 26:33post by posting as many winning days as we can.
- 26:37So as always, guys, if we can find that sweet spot against the
- 26:41public with the house, with the pros, flat bet, avoid parlays
- 26:45and get that CLV. If we can do that, then I'm I'm
- 26:48confident here that we're going to be successful sports bettors.
- 26:50So hope you had a great holiday weekend back at it guys.
- 26:54We'll be right back at it tomorrow for a big Tuesday
- 26:57edition episode 314 of the All Systems Go Sports Betting
- 27:01podcast powered by Rhythm. Good luck everybody and have a
- 27:04great Monday night.
