- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, welcome in Faithfuls and Traders to a new
- 0:05Speaker 1: episode of By Order of the Faithfuls. I'm Wills Adams
- 0:08Speaker 1: that I'm alongside.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Dolores Catana, the Winner.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Yes, the winner, and apparently Tamra was banished because she's
- 0:16Speaker 1: not here today. She's doing her Oh she.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Didn't make it to breakfast. I'm so sad she was murdered.
- 0:24Speaker 1: She didn't knock on the doors. She did not come
- 0:27Speaker 1: through breakfast. But we're here and so are you all.
- 0:30Speaker 1: We finally kind of get into the meat of the season, right,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Like I think the first episode is very much just
- 0:35Speaker 1: like establishing shots and like meeting everyone, and now we're
- 0:38Speaker 1: into the gameplay. So episode two is very very fun.
- 0:43Speaker 2: People are now starting to get their footing and you
- 0:46Speaker 2: kind of get surprised at who's actually right yeah, and
- 0:51Speaker 2: who's like on to them in such an early stage.
- 0:54Speaker 2: So that surprised me.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I was like, oooh, I wonder if it's the first
- 1:00Speaker 1: American season. I wonder if there wasn't a lot of
- 1:05Speaker 1: information to go on for the people who are traders,
- 1:08Speaker 1: who I feel like are making big mistakes and like
- 1:11Speaker 1: making big swings and being very obvious.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Well, the biggest mistake is being in everyone's face, which
- 1:19Speaker 2: I don't think Christians capable of not doing that. Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 2: like he is on top, like he is putting a
- 1:27Speaker 2: target on himself beyond.
- 1:31Speaker 1: So at breakfast, the Trader's first murder is revealed. They
- 1:35Speaker 1: killed Reza from Shaws of Sunset. How did you feel
- 1:39Speaker 1: about that? Like, you know, he thought that the Traders
- 1:41Speaker 1: made a good decision, But I think it's so early
- 1:44Speaker 1: that I'm not sure if it really matters.
- 1:46Speaker 2: So, of course, if you remember at the first mission,
- 1:51Speaker 2: Rezzo was the loudest. He was like, all gung ho
- 1:55Speaker 2: pro team. Now these guys still don't know. Again, let's
- 1:59Speaker 2: cut them some slow. This is First American season, second episode,
- 2:05Speaker 2: the first mission. You don't know that being loud is
- 2:08Speaker 2: going to give someone an excuse to murder you or
- 2:12Speaker 2: put you. As a Trader, you kind of have to
- 2:14Speaker 2: play possum, which is how I played. He made the
- 2:17Speaker 2: ultimate mistake being a strong leader, being somebody who can
- 2:22Speaker 2: influence people. That's everything the Traders.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Don't want one hundred percent, and then also being kind
- 2:29Speaker 1: of so outspoken. He annoyed Michael, and then Michael kind
- 2:33Speaker 1: of explained to everyone how much he didn't like Resia,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and so then it's just like, well, this is such
- 2:39Speaker 1: an easy thing for the traders to jump on, right,
- 2:42Speaker 1: it's already internal turmoil with faithfuls, and we can get
- 2:48Speaker 1: a lot of people looking their way.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Right. So, you know, Michael, although he's not a trader,
- 2:55Speaker 2: he would have, I think, made a good trader because
- 2:57Speaker 2: he makes these little bombs everywhere. But yet he's got
- 3:01Speaker 2: like this Southern accent and he's real like innocent and like,
- 3:07Speaker 2: oh poor little me, and you know, New Jersey, you
- 3:10Speaker 2: come out. I could be walking down the beach. I
- 3:13Speaker 2: remember in like I don't know Aruba, the homeless man
- 3:17Speaker 2: living on the beach looked at me and goes Jersey
- 3:20Speaker 2: and I'm like, why go because you got that look. So,
- 3:23Speaker 2: you know, people with strong personalities like resident thing, they
- 3:27Speaker 2: tend to draw attention to themselves, where Michael is acting
- 3:31Speaker 2: like this innocent little Southern bell. Yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Reza kind of reminds me of Derinda from the season
- 3:39Speaker 1: that we were on, Like she was very loud, she
- 3:42Speaker 1: was ruffling some feathers and she was bravo. Yeah. Yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: but she came became the first target for the traders.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I thought it was a kind of an interesting analogy
- 3:54Speaker 1: and very similar. But then you have Christian over here
- 3:57Speaker 1: pushing this narrative that gerald Deane's trader, which is surprising
- 4:02Speaker 1: to me. I mean, it was they were all going
- 4:04Speaker 1: off of. She looked really nervous after they pulled the
- 4:07Speaker 1: blindfolds off, which okay, I guess, but well I didn't.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Other than that, I didn't really see her even talk
- 4:14Speaker 1: to anybody, So I was surprised that that's who they
- 4:17Speaker 1: were going after.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Well, as this is, there's no rhyme or reason in
- 4:21Speaker 2: the beginning why people will come for you, right. So
- 4:24Speaker 2: the thing with Geraldine is she didn't make a connection
- 4:27Speaker 2: with everyone, and now we can't go by that because
- 4:32Speaker 2: you certainly did, and you were the first to be banished, right,
- 4:36Speaker 2: and you had a connection with everyone. I think that
- 4:38Speaker 2: you know, Iane needed a defibrillator when you left. She
- 4:41Speaker 2: was hysterical, crying. I had a carrier back to her room,
- 4:46Speaker 2: and everyone felt so freaking bad, and you were missed.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But see, somebody like Geraldine comes in doesn't know anybody.
- 4:53Speaker 2: She says to herself, I'm an introvert. I get to
- 4:57Speaker 2: know people. It's just the way I grew up it's
- 4:59Speaker 2: the way I was raised. So people want to judge
- 5:02Speaker 2: the way someone handles things or acts by that way,
- 5:06Speaker 2: Like you have to get people to like you. That's
- 5:08Speaker 2: a part of winning as well.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, that's also like winning a life.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I liked her. I think she's a very nice person.
- 5:16Speaker 2: I would have liked to have seen Michael go instead
- 5:18Speaker 2: of her.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that this was a good example of
- 5:21Speaker 1: why it's really hard to do this show with people
- 5:24Speaker 1: who are used to being on TV and then people
- 5:26Speaker 1: who aren't right, like a couple of glaring exposition of
- 5:31Speaker 1: like she was kind of falling in on her shelf,
- 5:35Speaker 1: didn't want to talk a lot, whereas you've got some other,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you know, big TV personalities that you know it's their
- 5:42Speaker 1: job to be on TV and make friends. And I
- 5:44Speaker 1: thought that that was like, oh, I can see how
- 5:46Speaker 1: this would go this way. But you know, Christian pushing
- 5:51Speaker 1: this narrative of Gerald Dean makes people start thinking that
- 5:54Speaker 1: Christian is.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, hey see so again amateur moves.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 2: First season, see Sirih's sitting back. She's just watching it
- 6:05Speaker 2: all happening and listening and taking making sure nobody's onto her.
- 6:12Speaker 2: She's smart, she is very smart, but she's not smarter
- 6:15Speaker 2: than Brandy.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I know. I gotta say, Brandy is killing it out there.
- 6:20Speaker 1: She's calling out traders left, right and center.
- 6:23Speaker 2: I don't think I'm yet to see somebody who called
- 6:27Speaker 2: things this straight, this sharp, this early. But you know,
- 6:32Speaker 2: Brandy's a player anyway, like in life. And I all
- 6:36Speaker 2: the power to her, all the respect when I say this.
- 6:39Speaker 2: She's no slouch. She's been through a lot, She's had
- 6:43Speaker 2: her share of liars in her life, I'm sure. So
- 6:47Speaker 2: here she comes like bitch. I know that I know
- 6:50Speaker 2: this animal like she was, but it's but sirih was
- 6:53Speaker 2: just sitting like to call her out, you almost have
- 6:57Speaker 2: to be psychic at this point.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean some people have that like inkling and
- 7:02Speaker 1: can really read people. You know. It's interesting the way
- 7:06Speaker 1: that Christian was going about Well, I mean, he was
- 7:10Speaker 1: campaigning against Cheraldine kind of before the roundtable, right, But
- 7:15Speaker 1: it reminded me a lot of when Bob the drag
- 7:18Speaker 1: Queen kind of came after me. He kind of like
- 7:20Speaker 1: was the ringleader of we think that Wells is the guy,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and I remember thinking like, that's really weird. I thought
- 7:28Speaker 1: I had a good relationship with you. I don't really
- 7:30Speaker 1: talked to you that a whole lot, but I've tried
- 7:32Speaker 1: to talk to you a bunch and then afterwards being like,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you know, maybe he's a trader because he's going after
- 7:38Speaker 1: he's the one who started this kind of like dialogue
- 7:41Speaker 1: that I was a trader. And I think that Christian's
- 7:45Speaker 1: doing a very similar thing where people are like, wait,
- 7:47Speaker 1: hold on. And the problem that you have when you
- 7:49Speaker 1: do that is the second that you banish someone who
- 7:55Speaker 1: isn't a trader, then eyes turned back on you because
- 7:58Speaker 1: it's like, oh, you were the guy who suggested this.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Well, if it's any consolation to you that did put
- 8:06Speaker 2: him on the spot after you were gone, then now
- 8:11Speaker 2: all eyes are on him. So it's always a risk
- 8:13Speaker 2: to call someone out. It's always a risk to be
- 8:16Speaker 2: the loud one always, and then God forbid, you vote
- 8:23Speaker 2: for the trader, and the trader doesn't get voted out,
- 8:25Speaker 2: you're gone. Yeah, that's why Derek on our cast, he
- 8:30Speaker 2: was trying to call out Boston Rob and he said,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I won't be here tomorrow, but I'm going to tell
- 8:36Speaker 2: you right now it's him.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah. That was scary. That was good, very good. So
- 8:50Speaker 1: for the challenge, six players are doing something that I
- 8:54Speaker 1: know that you and Tam said you would never do,
- 8:56Speaker 1: and that's being buried.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Shit. Okay, so wells wait, you would do this?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Yeah? I was watching with my wife and I was like,
- 9:06Speaker 1: you know, the ladies were saying that they would never
- 9:08Speaker 1: do this. Would you do this? And she said, well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I wouldn't have a problem with that. My only concern
- 9:13Speaker 1: would be that there would be bugs in there and
- 9:15Speaker 1: it would freak me out because it would be pitch black.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And I was like, I agree with that, but I
- 9:19Speaker 1: would do this. It's the bugs that I wouldn't be
- 9:21Speaker 1: able to handle. But I know that you guys have
- 9:23Speaker 1: like a claustrophobia unlike any other.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Like any other. So I'm I can't breathe talking about it,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and I couldn't breathe watching it. Yeah, you couldn't pay
- 9:35Speaker 2: me enough to get in that coffin, they said to
- 9:38Speaker 2: me standing right there. As much as I went through
- 9:41Speaker 2: to freaking get there, and then the excitement of being there,
- 9:44Speaker 2: let me tell you something. I'd be calling from my
- 9:47Speaker 2: ticket home. I'd be like, Paul, get me a first
- 9:49Speaker 2: class ticket the out of here. I'm not getting in that.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't want anything that bad, not even for five minutes.
- 9:58Speaker 2: They were in their thirty nine minutes. They had to
- 10:00Speaker 2: find these people.
- 10:02Speaker 1: No way fun like production side of things that I
- 10:06Speaker 1: think is interesting for the listeners out there is I
- 10:10Speaker 1: remember talking to producers in They're like, is there anything
- 10:12Speaker 1: that you wouldn't do? And I remember saying, if there
- 10:16Speaker 1: are spiders or bugs, I won't do it. And they're like, well,
- 10:19Speaker 1: what if there's a lot of money, And I said,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I don't care about the money. Did you say, like,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I will not be buried alive one percent?
- 10:26Speaker 2: I said that. I said, I don't do clothes in
- 10:30Speaker 2: closed spaces. I Am not getting in a coffin for nothing.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And it's not about the superstition, because I mean, if
- 10:37Speaker 2: I could use a nap as long as you keep
- 10:39Speaker 2: it open, I don't care. But I don't know, not
- 10:42Speaker 2: for me, that was my thing. I don't mind spiders, snakes,
- 10:46Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 10:48Speaker 1: That gotta go. Yeah, this is a fun regardless of
- 10:52Speaker 1: your phobia. This is a pretty fun mission they do.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You know, Alan signals the starts. They'll first locate a
- 10:59Speaker 1: shovel Milwaukee talkie, which will help them communicate with the
- 11:02Speaker 1: Barry players and the Barry players have to reveal a
- 11:04Speaker 1: riddle and a crest that's on their graves to help
- 11:07Speaker 1: their teammates find them. I thought it was funny, you know,
- 11:10Speaker 1: mid challenge, Michael tells multiple people that he'd like to
- 11:13Speaker 1: banish Cherald Team tonight. I never thought during well, I
- 11:17Speaker 1: only did I guess two missions, but I never thought
- 11:21Speaker 1: that it would have been a smart move for me
- 11:25Speaker 1: to start, you know, campaigning against someone in the middle
- 11:28Speaker 1: of a mission.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Well, no, I mean that's happened. That happens. But he
- 11:35Speaker 2: something about Michael is like he's doing trader behavior.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he is.
- 11:40Speaker 2: I would have totally voted for him. The women voted
- 11:44Speaker 2: for him, most of them did, right. So the only
- 11:47Speaker 2: reason he was able to get out of it is
- 11:51Speaker 2: you need to know how to talk your way out
- 11:53Speaker 2: of something. Yeah, and that's that's what it was. But
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, to be shocked that he was bringing that
- 12:01Speaker 2: out in the middle, no, because there's not a lot
- 12:03Speaker 2: of time to talk after you're done stuff in your
- 12:07Speaker 2: face because by the end of the day and the
- 12:09Speaker 2: activities that we do, you're so hungry and it's not
- 12:13Speaker 2: the most satisfying food. Let's face it. When you get
- 12:16Speaker 2: back you're so hungry, you're double fisting food which doesn't
- 12:20Speaker 2: even taste and then you know, so there's not a
- 12:24Speaker 2: lot of time to talk, and then you're going into
- 12:25Speaker 2: different rooms, and so that is kind of the time
- 12:29Speaker 2: to start dropping the bombs for when people get back
- 12:32Speaker 2: and that name is in their head totally.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I guess, like you know, for the two missions I did,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was just so focused on trying to like complete
- 12:42Speaker 1: it or I honestly the second one, I just wanted
- 12:46Speaker 1: an immunity because I thought that they were going to
- 12:49Speaker 1: try to come get me. Why did you think that?
- 12:52Speaker 1: Because I remember saying that I thought that the traders
- 12:56Speaker 1: were stupid for killing someone that I thought we were
- 12:58Speaker 1: all going to banish. And then I remember Robin and
- 13:01Speaker 1: Sam got really like salty about it and offended, and
- 13:04Speaker 1: I remember thinking, oh, no, like I'm in trouble.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I think I don't know that. That's what I know.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I know that was just what was going through my mind,
- 13:12Speaker 1: because I remember because I was the only one who
- 13:14Speaker 1: was trying to get Wes down in that second mission
- 13:18Speaker 1: that we did, and they cut it, but I yelled out,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I said, I'm going to get you down, but you
- 13:23Speaker 1: have to save me because I think they're going to
- 13:26Speaker 1: try to kill me tonight.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Oh and you just had a feeling because you pissed
- 13:31Speaker 2: off two people by what you said.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and so that's that's I was being paranoid like
- 13:37Speaker 1: everyone it kind of is on the show. And Wes
- 13:40Speaker 1: said like, Okay, if you get me down, I will
- 13:43Speaker 1: will you know, I'll give you my immunity or whatnot,
- 13:45Speaker 1: And they cut that as well, and so then that's
- 13:48Speaker 1: when I got I in to help me get him down,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and we got him down, like right at the end.
- 13:52Speaker 1: But it sucked because I got banished before the killing
- 13:56Speaker 1: was happening that night, where the immunity would have helped me.
- 13:58Speaker 1: But anyways, all I'm saying is that during the missions,
- 14:02Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I'm thinking, like I should be
- 14:05Speaker 1: talking to people about who to get rid of. I'm
- 14:07Speaker 1: just like, I got to finish this thing so you
- 14:09Speaker 1: can get the money and get the hell out of here.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And I think that it was not a smart move
- 14:14Speaker 1: on Michael's part, But you're right that there is such
- 14:17Speaker 1: little time to really talk that like you kind of
- 14:19Speaker 1: take any opportunity you can.
- 14:21Speaker 2: The least time you have to do anything is to
- 14:26Speaker 2: converse about what's going to happen at the roundtable. Yeah,
- 14:30Speaker 2: so you kind of if you're if you think you're
- 14:34Speaker 2: on the hot seat, you have a time to turn
- 14:37Speaker 2: it around by putting somebody else's name out there, but
- 14:40Speaker 2: typically by then it's already happened during the missions.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and the teams.
- 14:46Speaker 2: A lot of people start to turn on each other
- 14:49Speaker 2: during the teams because they dislike each other. So a
- 14:52Speaker 2: lot of the times the votes will come out of
- 14:55Speaker 2: an annoyance or kind of like, what's going on with
- 14:59Speaker 2: Christian right now? I feel like people are going to
- 15:02Speaker 2: start to turn on him soon. So if I was
- 15:04Speaker 2: on there, he would get on my nerves and I'd
- 15:07Speaker 2: want him to be gone at this point because you
- 15:08Speaker 2: have nothing else to go on. So let's just banish
- 15:10Speaker 2: the people that get on our nerves or yeah, banish them.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. A lot of the scheming and the
- 15:17Speaker 1: talking also happens in the cars.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Oh big time. Yes, so that's what that's what got
- 15:24Speaker 2: Brandy caught in this episode. Ye, so we how about
- 15:30Speaker 2: Andy going the wrong way on the map? Well, who
- 15:33Speaker 2: knows how to read a map anymore? Yeah, nobody knows, Like.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I need GPS, I know, and.
- 15:40Speaker 2: You have nothing. You don't have anything, so now leading
- 15:44Speaker 2: the team the wrong way, Andy feels like possibly now
- 15:51Speaker 2: Andy's a target.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Yeah, because as a I guess if you are a trader,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you're really not trying to to win these things. You
- 16:01Speaker 1: don't care. Well, I guess you want the money, but like,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you're not trying for immunity. But immunity is not in
- 16:07Speaker 1: this first season.
- 16:08Speaker 2: A lot of the traders moving forward do try for
- 16:12Speaker 2: immunity because they want to get like the target off
- 16:17Speaker 2: of them.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like, well, I tried so hard, so why
- 16:19Speaker 1: would I if I was so.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Why am I trying for a shield? Duh, duh. That's
- 16:24Speaker 2: that's what it was. So but you know, Andy was scared,
- 16:29Speaker 2: what the hell I'm up next? What could you do?
- 16:32Speaker 1: And I could see people being, well, if we don't
- 16:35Speaker 1: know who it is, let's get rid of someone who
- 16:37Speaker 1: cost us a bunch of money.
- 16:38Speaker 2: That's the other thing that takes a part. There's a
- 16:41Speaker 2: lot of different factors besides someone thinking you're a trader. Yeah,
- 16:46Speaker 2: you have to you have to grab from different places
- 16:49Speaker 2: because it's too early to have really any clues.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it's like it reminds me of you know,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I think it's in season two where Kate comes back
- 16:56Speaker 1: and she like really doesn't want to be there, right,
- 16:58Speaker 1: Like she's Erica. She by the way, I'm sure if
- 17:02Speaker 1: I filled with her she would annoy me. But watching
- 17:05Speaker 1: her on TV, she is so good at it. She's
- 17:07Speaker 1: so funny.
- 17:09Speaker 2: They love her the studio. Lambert loves Kate and she's funny.
- 17:16Speaker 2: She don't give a shit. Yeah, I feel like she's
- 17:19Speaker 2: like really just like that in real life. Yeah, she's
- 17:22Speaker 2: a friend of mine. I adore her, but you know,
- 17:25Speaker 2: it would take a lot to shake her up. Talk
- 17:28Speaker 2: about smart, Kate's very, very smart, totally, and I love
- 17:31Speaker 2: when she goes off on somebody, like she was telling
- 17:34Speaker 2: Michael off exactly the way I wanted somebody to tell
- 17:36Speaker 2: him off, And so was.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Brandy for that fact. Yeah, she's great, a little bit
- 17:41Speaker 1: of a superpower to like not give an f because
- 17:46Speaker 1: if you can do that, everyone else is tripping out
- 17:48Speaker 1: and stressed out. And if you are like I don't
- 17:51Speaker 1: care whatever, You're just gonna be there forever, which is
- 17:54Speaker 1: what happens with her.
- 17:55Speaker 2: You know, when I was going to play this game,
- 17:57Speaker 2: my brother said to me, I asked my family for advice.
- 18:00Speaker 2: What do they know about this game? And my brother said,
- 18:03Speaker 2: you've only ever looked up the things you gave a
- 18:05Speaker 2: shit about.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Yeah, so I took that with me. Yeah, simply for right.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah. No, Hey, it worked. I'm okay about it. It
- 18:18Speaker 2: was a good episode, though, it was there was so
- 18:20Speaker 2: much going on for so new But I love seeing
- 18:23Speaker 2: Kyle from Summerhouse.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I know. Yeah. But so let's go back to the
- 18:27Speaker 1: like the roundtable right beforehand, everyone's kind of getting together
- 18:30Speaker 1: to discuss their theories. Christian continues to push for Gerald Deane.
- 18:33Speaker 1: No one seems to be super convinced by it. But
- 18:36Speaker 1: I think that we're like almost like a rudderless sailboat.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I mean, theotia. No one really knows that. No one
- 18:42Speaker 1: doesn't even know what they don't know. At this point,
- 18:45Speaker 1: Brandy's certain that the traders are Michael and Christian, and
- 18:48Speaker 1: she briefly mentions Sherry, but she puts it on the
- 18:51Speaker 1: back burner. But it's just that moment where I'm like,
- 18:54Speaker 1: this woman is a genius. I wouldn't have gotten any
- 18:57Speaker 1: of these people.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Don't count Brandy. Glanfell out all right, anybody, My money's
- 19:03Speaker 2: on Brandy all day long every day.
- 19:05Speaker 1: It's always interesting to see who starts off round tables.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Yes, it is.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It's a very big tell. I feel like and Cody
- 19:14Speaker 1: starting off the round table calling out Geraldine and Michael
- 19:20Speaker 1: I thought was interesting.
- 19:22Speaker 2: You know what's funny. Sarah's just sitting back. Yeah, I know,
- 19:26Speaker 2: so Sarah's just sitting back and letting those fools go on,
- 19:30Speaker 2: and she's saying it. She's saying, he's gonna get us pinched.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I don't think the other two were great, really great traders,
- 19:40Speaker 2: you know.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was too much of bull in a China
- 19:44Speaker 1: shop and not enough like thinking things through.
- 19:48Speaker 2: I think, well for sure, but again, we have to
- 19:53Speaker 2: give it to them. It is the first season, episode two.
- 19:58Speaker 2: We're not familiar with this game. Now. Everybody's a player.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Everybody's like, you know, if you meet somebody out there, like,
- 20:05Speaker 2: how could you not have known? Boston Robb was a trader,
- 20:10Speaker 2: all right, I get that, But I also spent the
- 20:13Speaker 2: whole day with him. That day he coached Sierra through
- 20:18Speaker 2: the bug challenge, so there's also a relationship aspect. Like
- 20:22Speaker 2: I was saying before that, when you get to know
- 20:25Speaker 2: these people, it's very hard to want to vote for
- 20:28Speaker 2: them because you get closer. You're with them all day.
- 20:30Speaker 2: You're not speaking to anybody else fourteen hours a day. Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 1: The other thing that I don't know if gets mentioned enough,
- 20:38Speaker 1: is that you may think someone's a trader and still
- 20:41Speaker 1: be really close with them, Because that's what I'm saying.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Having an ally who's a trader is very, very valuable.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I mean, Brandy's like screwed because she's right right.
- 20:54Speaker 2: She talked too much. Yeah, I feel like she knew
- 20:57Speaker 2: better than to say it, because she's not done. You
- 21:00Speaker 2: just spent the whole day with these people. You bury
- 21:04Speaker 2: got your friends out of a coffin alive. But wait,
- 21:08Speaker 2: what about Christian hitting her with the shovel?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Oh I know, I'm surprised you didn't get like that.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Cut Listen. Brandy gets pissed off. She's like, I'm okay,
- 21:17Speaker 2: I'm okay, Yeah, but I didn't like it.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You know, she doesn't realize she had the power right
- 21:26Speaker 2: now to turn everybody against him, because I feel like
- 21:29Speaker 2: already at this point, Surrey would have already turned on him,
- 21:33Speaker 2: Cody would have turned on him at the round table,
- 21:35Speaker 2: and if Brandy really wanted just for the simple fact
- 21:39Speaker 2: that he got on her nerves, she could have got
- 21:43Speaker 2: out of Trader.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. They go after Michael hard in this.
- 21:56Speaker 1: You know, Kate mentions that Michael threatened her to vote
- 21:59Speaker 1: for Jerald. He blames his awkwardness on anxiety. But then
- 22:04Speaker 1: Kyle pointed out that he had a similar conversation with
- 22:07Speaker 1: Michael during the challenge too, And so it seems like
- 22:11Speaker 1: everyone's kind of going at Michael as they should, as
- 22:14Speaker 1: they should, and then gerald Jane just stays silent, like
- 22:17Speaker 1: I'm sure she had to defend herself, but we never
- 22:20Speaker 1: really get to see it. I wonder if being silent
- 22:24Speaker 1: is what ended up getting her banned.
- 22:28Speaker 2: It was really torn. It was a tie. The girls
- 22:32Speaker 2: didn't want to vote for her. You even seen some
- 22:35Speaker 2: people erased his name and then put hers down because
- 22:39Speaker 2: she didn't know how to speak enough to stick up
- 22:43Speaker 2: like he did. Yeah, he was ready for it. He
- 22:46Speaker 2: was ready to stick up for himself. He knows how
- 22:49Speaker 2: to get something. Tells me that Michael has more than
- 22:54Speaker 2: once in his life how to talk his way out
- 22:56Speaker 2: of some bullshit. And I don't think gerald Deane's used
- 22:58Speaker 2: to that. Geraldine also so explained, and so many people
- 23:02Speaker 2: are like this, including myself. And this is why I
- 23:06Speaker 2: understand her. Is she shuts down when people are coming
- 23:10Speaker 2: after her. Geraldine shuts down. It's the way she grew up,
- 23:14Speaker 2: it's the way her father taught her to be, or
- 23:17Speaker 2: however it is. And I get it. I get it
- 23:20Speaker 2: one hundred thousand percent. But I would have liked to
- 23:23Speaker 2: see her stay.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Yeah. I had a lot of sympathy, and I was
- 23:29Speaker 1: empathetic to what was happening to her. I felt bad
- 23:32Speaker 1: about it.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Now, let's take this back to your sitting at the roundtable.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I want to go through your feelings because I can't
- 23:39Speaker 2: imagine what it's like because all these things, it's the
- 23:44Speaker 2: first banishment. You're not expecting these people that you've made
- 23:48Speaker 2: friends with to come for you. You're innocent, You're being
- 23:52Speaker 2: judged by everybody, and people are saying untrue things about you.
- 23:58Speaker 2: What are the feelings that you go through being in
- 24:03Speaker 2: that hot seat, if you could take yourself back to that.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I was frustrated on a lot of different counts.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I was frustrated that I kind of wasn't told that
- 24:14Speaker 1: I was on the chopping block until kind of right
- 24:16Speaker 1: before we walked in there. So I never had an
- 24:18Speaker 1: opportunity to go and talk to people and be like,
- 24:22Speaker 1: hold on, what are you talking about? And it happened
- 24:24Speaker 1: so fast that I didn't have an opportunity to really
- 24:27Speaker 1: sit down, compose my thoughts and make sure I had
- 24:30Speaker 1: a really good, compelling argument. And I was just I
- 24:36Speaker 1: was like, just upset. The other thing too, is and
- 24:40Speaker 1: I'm sure you have to deal with this a lot,
- 24:41Speaker 1: but I am very concerned with how I'm being perceived,
- 24:47Speaker 1: especially on television. And what was making me angry is
- 24:52Speaker 1: that the dialogue that Bob the Drag Queen was saying
- 24:56Speaker 1: was that I was off putting. I didn't making an
- 25:00Speaker 1: attempt with him, and I remember thinking, like, that's not true.
- 25:04Speaker 1: I've talked to you about multiple things. You know, my
- 25:07Speaker 1: wife was a judge on Drag Race, and she had
- 25:11Speaker 1: just done a Broadway show with another person who was
- 25:15Speaker 1: on Drag Race named Jinx Monsoon, and like, and I
- 25:18Speaker 1: had all these things.
- 25:19Speaker 2: So I had a dialogue with him. You did speak
- 25:22Speaker 2: to him, yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And what was frustrating is that he was saying that
- 25:25Speaker 1: I was, you know, like giving him the cold shoulder
- 25:27Speaker 1: and not trying with him, and I was like, that's
- 25:29Speaker 1: just not true, and that got me angry because I
- 25:33Speaker 1: was like, that's not what happened. You're making up lies
- 25:36Speaker 1: about me. Then of course it makes sense now looking
- 25:39Speaker 1: back of like he was making it all up to,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you know, make sure everyone was trying to vote for me,
- 25:45Speaker 1: which I get now. At the time, I was just
- 25:47Speaker 1: upset that someone was like attacking my character.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Ry and you'd never expected it. I mean, how many
- 25:54Speaker 2: times in your life have you been accused of those things?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I don't think ever.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Yeah. And also like if you ever have been accused
- 26:02Speaker 1: of something that you didn't do, it's all the time.
- 26:05Speaker 1: It's really hard to try to explain yourself without looking crazy.
- 26:10Speaker 2: You know. Well, here's the thing. And I've been in
- 26:13Speaker 2: many courtrooms. I used to you know, I used to
- 26:15Speaker 2: work in the jail. I worked in courtrooms. It's harder
- 26:19Speaker 2: to prove your innocent than it is to prove you're guilty. Yeah,
- 26:23Speaker 2: and that is that's the truth. Because you have no
- 26:27Speaker 2: tangible proof on something that didn't happen, or that you're innocent.
- 26:32Speaker 2: You have nothing to prove. You don't have anything to present,
- 26:36Speaker 2: is what I'm saying. So in life, wells, that is
- 26:41Speaker 2: absolutely across the board. The thing you cannot. It's very
- 26:46Speaker 2: very hard to prove your innocent. You have to That's
- 26:49Speaker 2: when you have to use your character, your integrity, and
- 26:53Speaker 2: your reputation to back you. Yeah, which you have all
- 26:59Speaker 2: those things, but it wasn't you're not bringing that to
- 27:02Speaker 2: the game. Somebody's accusing you of something. What you do
- 27:05Speaker 2: on the outside has nothing to do with what you
- 27:07Speaker 2: do on the inside.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I was frustrated. The emotion that was going through
- 27:13Speaker 1: my mind was like I was a little ashamed. I
- 27:15Speaker 1: was like embarrassed. I came all the way out here.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I thought I was going to do really well and
- 27:20Speaker 1: then I'm like the first person out. So that was
- 27:22Speaker 1: also like making me angry, like I can't believe it,
- 27:25Speaker 1: Like I'm the first guy out. This is embarrassing. I
- 27:28Speaker 1: got to tell my wife, I got to watch this back.
- 27:31Speaker 1: This sucks.
- 27:32Speaker 2: So that's all going through your head while everybody's like
- 27:35Speaker 2: voting for you, and then at what point do you
- 27:38Speaker 2: like concede once the votes start coming out or.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, well, I thought I was in a
- 27:45Speaker 1: lot of trouble and then the vote started coming out
- 27:49Speaker 1: and it started teetering back, Like if you remember.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm getting anxiety for you listening to this, but I've
- 27:55Speaker 2: always wanted to ask you this in detail.
- 27:58Speaker 1: So I made a shoe huge mistake. The mistake I
- 28:01Speaker 1: made was they asked me because I said I said
- 28:06Speaker 1: something I called the trader stupid or something, and I
- 28:09Speaker 1: noticed immediately that people got upset when I said it.
- 28:13Speaker 1: And then someone said, well who got upset? And I
- 28:15Speaker 1: should never have said the names. I said, what were
- 28:18Speaker 1: the names? I said, Robin and Sam and so so
- 28:22Speaker 1: then that's when I was like, I think Robin's a
- 28:24Speaker 1: trader because she got upset that I said it was dumb.
- 28:28Speaker 1: But I should have never said Sam, because then Sam
- 28:31Speaker 1: all of a sudden was like, well, screw you, man.
- 28:33Speaker 1: If you think that I'm a trader, then I'm done.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I'm going to turn your Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So I thought I was in a lot of trouble.
- 28:38Speaker 1: What I didn't realize is that there were a lot
- 28:40Speaker 1: of votes for Ivor, and if I had just like
- 28:44Speaker 1: piled on to Ivor, then he probably would have been
- 28:47Speaker 1: the one to go home over me, because it came
- 28:49Speaker 1: down to like four four and four, and then the
- 28:53Speaker 1: last person to vote was Caroline, who was a trader,
- 28:59Speaker 1: and she voted for me, so like came down to
- 29:01Speaker 1: this last one, which sucks. So I thought I was
- 29:04Speaker 1: good because I had a good relationship with her, So you.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Were surprised when it came to her she was making
- 29:10Speaker 2: the final decision and she voted for you. Who else
- 29:14Speaker 2: who were you up against? Who else was on the
- 29:16Speaker 2: chop besides Iver Robin. See now I'm surprised that she
- 29:22Speaker 2: wouldn't have gone for Ivor being that you guys had
- 29:27Speaker 2: made some type of connection. That's weird to me.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, Bob the drag Queen and her,
- 29:34Speaker 1: Oh okay got together and they both thought that makes sense,
- 29:39Speaker 1: said me. And then and then Bob did a thing
- 29:41Speaker 1: where he accused me was the one who started everything
- 29:45Speaker 1: and then didn't vote for me. So then he was
- 29:47Speaker 1: able to like kind of wash his hands clean of
- 29:49Speaker 1: it being.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Wrong, Rellion. No one said that guy was stupid. He
- 29:52Speaker 2: might have been two over the top and you know,
- 29:57Speaker 2: annoying in a Christian like way at sometimes, but that
- 30:02Speaker 2: was smart.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it was.
- 30:04Speaker 2: He's smart. He's inherently smart. Oh yeah, Bob the trag
- 30:08Speaker 2: Queen is well versed on any subject you want to
- 30:12Speaker 2: talk to him on, and he knows it. He's very
- 30:15Speaker 2: very very very intelligent.
- 30:17Speaker 1: And then I'll tell you then. So then my mind
- 30:19Speaker 1: starts going, well, I got to make a TV show still,
- 30:22Speaker 1: like I'm still got to be entertaining. So once I
- 30:25Speaker 1: knew that I was screwed, I'm like, what do I
- 30:27Speaker 1: do to at least have like a good exit? And
- 30:30Speaker 1: you know, we all had this thing of like we
- 30:33Speaker 1: want to be the first season that gets out of
- 30:35Speaker 1: Trader on the first banishment, right, Like I remember us
- 30:39Speaker 1: all like really wanting that. Well, these all these people
- 30:42Speaker 1: think that I'm a Trader. I'm going to at least
- 30:44Speaker 1: milk this for all I can. So then I went
- 30:46Speaker 1: up there and I started slow clapping, like.
- 30:49Speaker 2: You know, like I remember that, and.
- 30:52Speaker 1: I remember Tony because Tony voted for me too. I visibly,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I remember looking at everyone's faces and I was like
- 30:59Speaker 1: trying to keep it straight because I was like, I
- 31:00Speaker 1: want to give them twenty seconds of thinking that they
- 31:03Speaker 1: did this thing. And so I started slow clapping, and
- 31:06Speaker 1: everyone thought like, oh my god, we got a Trader.
- 31:08Speaker 1: And then I was like, yeah, I'm a faithful You
- 31:09Speaker 1: guys are idiots.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And then I laught that was a good accent. I
- 31:12Speaker 2: have to say so.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Going back to the end of this episode, it's pretty
- 31:15Speaker 1: close between Gerald Dean and Michael, but ultimately they banished
- 31:18Speaker 1: Gerald Deane. She tells everyone she's a faithful We finally
- 31:22Speaker 1: hear her speak, I suppose, and then Michael apologizes to
- 31:25Speaker 1: the group about his behavior, start starts crying.
- 31:29Speaker 2: A lot of crying goes on at that table, A
- 31:31Speaker 2: lot of crying in Traders. I'm from New Jersey. I'm
- 31:35Speaker 2: not used to that, yeah at all, But there's an
- 31:38Speaker 2: I love emotion. I love people that can cry and
- 31:41Speaker 2: feel emotion. It's a very emotionally draining show.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it really hit cry on the show.
- 31:50Speaker 2: In ten years of being on TV, I cried one
- 31:53Speaker 2: time when my dog died, No, two times when my
- 31:57Speaker 2: dog died, and then another time and a psychic told
- 32:00Speaker 2: me that my dog was channeling through. That was probably
- 32:04Speaker 2: the last time I cried anyway.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the only time I ever cried on TV was
- 32:09Speaker 1: they gave me eye drops to make it look like
- 32:11Speaker 1: I was crying because I'm not my wife and I
- 32:14Speaker 1: can't force the tears. But you know, the other thing
- 32:18Speaker 1: that I thought was interesting about the end of this
- 32:19Speaker 1: episode was Christian being like, you know, Gerald Deane. She
- 32:23Speaker 1: was such a great a great one. And then it's
- 32:26Speaker 1: Katey like, what you're going to have a you know,
- 32:29Speaker 1: like a euloge?
- 32:30Speaker 2: What do you want to have a eulogy? Kate is
- 32:32Speaker 2: a hysteria and all. And then what about Brandy? She's like,
- 32:35Speaker 2: I'm over it. Kate's like and you know, Kate's smart,
- 32:37Speaker 2: because you know, she's very funny. You know what she said,
- 32:40Speaker 2: We're going to do this tomorrow and the next day
- 32:42Speaker 2: and the next day. And that is the game that
- 32:47Speaker 2: is so true. Banishing a faithful or voting for someone
- 32:50Speaker 2: you got close to never got easy for me. Yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 2: it never did.
- 32:57Speaker 1: The Traders mean the Turrets kind of end the episode.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Cody Revie that basically Brandy is onto everyone.
- 33:04Speaker 2: She must be the next murder.
- 33:06Speaker 1: Come on, well, so that's the thing. So if you're
- 33:09Speaker 1: the Traders, if you kill her, then isn't everyone to
- 33:14Speaker 1: be like, well, hold on, she said you you knew?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Then does that put a spotlight on them?
- 33:22Speaker 2: It depends because who did they say and in front
- 33:25Speaker 2: of is that person paying attention? She said it in
- 33:28Speaker 2: the car with like three other people or two other people.
- 33:32Speaker 2: She didn't really go around chanting I think it's Siri.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I think it's cretty. You know, so, I don't know.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I don't know if they have a choice.
- 33:42Speaker 1: I don't.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm curious, Like I'm not even looking I don't want
- 33:47Speaker 2: to look ahead. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I honestly don't even remember how this season ends. I
- 33:53Speaker 1: watched it obviously for the show, but that was a
- 33:56Speaker 1: year and a half ago or something, right.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And you were binging and you were nervous. So we're
- 34:00Speaker 2: excited to see what they do with Brandy Glanville next,
- 34:03Speaker 2: Who's onto every freaking one of them.
- 34:05Speaker 1: She's just Sherlock Glanville over here.
- 34:08Speaker 2: She is. She would have made a great trader, but
- 34:11Speaker 2: she would have been an obvious trader.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so. But do you think that you
- 34:17Speaker 1: would be a good trader?
- 34:19Speaker 2: No? Really, no, I'm not a good liar.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You're so gregarious and good with people. I think you
- 34:28Speaker 1: would be good at it.
- 34:29Speaker 2: I think that I wouldn't enjoy it. Let me say this,
- 34:34Speaker 2: thank you for saying that I wouldn't enjoy it. Yeah,
- 34:37Speaker 2: it would ruin the game for me.
- 34:39Speaker 1: The not getting the sleep part is the thing that
- 34:42Speaker 1: really would probably bug me the most.
- 34:44Speaker 2: I was so healthy there. I didn't need sleep. I
- 34:49Speaker 2: was a machine. Wellst I was like waking up skinny
- 34:53Speaker 2: and I was happy. I want to go back. I cried,
- 34:56Speaker 2: you know when I cried when I left the room,
- 34:58Speaker 2: like I don't want to go. I'll stay for free.
- 35:00Speaker 2: They're like, you gotta go. There's not even a game left.
