- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Everything else, apparently.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like when you sell that article that said that thing you eat every day is a superfood and great for your gut health.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: But then 30 seconds later, a different article warns you to avoid it and it's taking years off your lives.

- 5:13[SPEAKER_04]: A little slower.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_04]: A little slower than we hope.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_04]: Well, what's going on?
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_04]: I just saw a headline on the North Country's window on the world.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_04]: Channel 7 saying that there's three bids on the arena for naming the arena.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't catch what they were.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_04]: Three people have bid on that.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_04]: Do they have to give it to one of the three?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_04]: And then who ports the signage up and does it meet the sign ordinance?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_04]: A lot of questions.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_07]: We'll see what those three bids are.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_07]: I have to check channel 7's website or somewhere.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see, I had a person stopped by and left me again.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_04]: Tommy Robinson, the second he's from up in the Alex Bay Area.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_04]: That's Alexandria and part of Orleans, I think.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_04]: Again, it was a long, oh, Phil Reed is the legislator from up there.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_04]: Mr. Robinson is a Democrat.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_04]: He says there's two other Democrats running for county ledges.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_04]: We don't know who they are because the North Country public relations gambit.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_04]: They won't bother to tell anybody.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_04]: Simple as a press release or a phone call.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_07]: So anyway, we'll see what happens there.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_07]: uh... got a call coming in but after dinner on the air all mayor on the flags yeah did you see the protest the last night i i saw a couple pictures of it yeah not too many people really did i tell you took out two months ago is what happened yeah yeah we're not raising the flag because we don't want to use in the area the problem is uh... we're not raising flags for anybody
- 7:08[SPEAKER_07]: we can't raise a gay flag and not raise an Irish flag.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_07]: You can't do it.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't mean we don't want that kind of lifestyle.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_07]: We don't care.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_07]: They can't get that food or head.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_07]: Mimps your life.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I soft for.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_06]: You need the raise of flag because of your sexual preference.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_06]: Just ridiculous.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_06]: Why can't anybody see where I'm coming from on this?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_04]: I gotcha.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't have just a minute.
- 7:34[UNKNOWN]: It doesn't have flag represented.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, no, I don't think so, I... Yeah, I think it does.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_06]: It represents 10,000 trained strangers.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_04]: Oh.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_06]: Transgender people.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_06]: That should be on a psychiatrist couch.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_06]: Not walking the streets.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_06]: At these shootings, you're always trained, gender people.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_06]: It's not right if you're born a woman or a man, you're a man.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_06]: You can't change your sex for a woman.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I saw there was a furry there, too.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_07]: A white mare?
- 8:16[SPEAKER_04]: A furry, you don't know what a furry is?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_07]: No, I've heard it.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what it is.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_04]: Someone dressed in animal fur as a tail and ears.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_07]: That's not mental health issue.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: No, they do that all the time in the school.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_04]: That's all the issue, years ago.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_04]: That's how that whole thing started with litter boxes.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_06]: ten years ago it was changed mm-hmm we're not raising anybody's flags are right to get upon it i told you this would happen these damn press your group this is another not proper group and more to down who's behind this i'm not sure who's behind it make the fake mother something i heard i don't know this probably a non-profit
- 9:12[SPEAKER_06]: T said everybody bring the kids they we don't put on a drag queen show Ridiculous man to have a kill a day gays and did you land a gay gay in sizzy land Hmm, can you bring that to have the killer to the guy eat the normal people?
- 9:29[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm What's up with a gay stop?
- 9:32[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I'm down.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think of the streaker in Copenhagen?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_04]: Now there's story going to hear about first here and then we'll get to it in a minute but uh... how about that building downtown they want to demolish yeah i think we're gonna have to do it yeah well who said it that was a big building at one time i mean i look at it
- 9:59[SPEAKER_04]: And I know that piece of roof has paved in, but what about the rest of the building?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_04]: Is there anything recoverable in it?
- 10:06[SPEAKER_04]: Like all the commercial door and window fixtures and whatever else is inside?
- 10:11[SPEAKER_07]: Currently, we got some more money coming in from the state.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_07]: Do you hear that Mayor?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's a lot of money.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_07]: We don't know where that money is going.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_07]: A 1.5 million for the city, I think.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_07]: That's a lot of money.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_07]: What are we going to do with that?
- 10:25[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody know or anybody afraid to ask?
- 10:28[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not sure.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, nobody sure.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_07]: That's the problem.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of money coming in, but we don't know where the hell is going.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, the other thing, these buildings and this thing was a monument to these economic development agencies and their failures.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_04]: And maybe they wanted it out of sight, out of sight out of mind, but
- 10:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if it was, I never knew you could do that.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_07]: I'll get a loan of them walk away and nobody's coming after your butt.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's half of the line with a J.C. IDA mare.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_07]: They got burned before, by the way.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_04]: And if it's condemned, why isn't someone monitoring it?
- 11:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we were told last night at the council meeting.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it just became apparent.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's Saturday night or something.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_04]: Well, somebody should have known that was happening.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_04]: Let's look at that building on Crafi and they just tore it down.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_04]: It was apparent that thing was falling apart two years ago.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_04]: It was a tree growing through the roof.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_04]: And they acted like they never saw it.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, Duff was on Glenn Show last night talking about properties with holes in the roof.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: These things are well known, but nothing's done about it.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_07]: And cost money there.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_04]: And it well.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_04]: you don't go after the people shame the people whatever you want to do you know if i've got something broken at my place i fix it well look at mr. loveie's property on clinton street glinton street yeah that's another one the he'll be still there the mayor's son of a letter come on mr. one he get that property cleaned up and turned down the day and building
- 12:18[SPEAKER_06]: I went out the window, you've got any hills there, you've got great grain or something over there, rock, so I don't know what it is.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_06]: It's ridiculous.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_06]: Here down the old building there, if you're not going to use it.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_06]: This property, but nobody's afraid of it, but it's laundry for some reason.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_06]: Well, the same thing with the damn golf course.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I'll take care of the problem, so or never happen.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_04]: Right, so who bid on the arena to put their name on it?
- 12:59[SPEAKER_07]: I'm trying to think of a name.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_07]: I can't really think to be honest with your mayor.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was on the news at noon, but I...
- 13:06[SPEAKER_07]: There wasn't, I didn't hear it.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_04]: Huh?
- 13:11[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if your name would be on that list.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, you have to pay.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_07]: yeah i don't know who's behind that well let's see that's another place that loses money but nobody seems to be concerned about that another place is going to make money to zoos not going to make money everybody you can charge five hours to get in the pool you're not going to make money to break even you're lucky i don't agree with charging to use the bulls i don't agree with clothes in the north side pool there's plenty of stuff you can do
- 13:47[SPEAKER_06]: This stuff is nickel-dine that's not going to put a dent in the budget.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_06]: You don't want the damn poos to open in the summertime and that's a new pool on a newer side mayor.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_06]: Right.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_06]: Probably times if I've got to bring up the old bad house.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_06]: Turn it into a stack bar.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_06]: It's in the perfect spot.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_06]: Anybody here may?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_06]: You gotta put money into it, change it into a stack bar.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_06]: Do you used to be one up there?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_06]: I remember it.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_06]: It was on the side of the hill up there.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_06]: When it's so it's...
- 14:23[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_06]: You're gonna race money there, everybody.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_06]: Instead of using it for a while.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_04]: I got you, I agree with you.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_06]: But not this hat, but we got it fixed to men who looked around the hill.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_06]: In that battle, not called St. Mayor.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_06]: But going out for years, put the damn money into it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_06]: The zoo's one of the made-and-tratches awarded down.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_06]: Or the park, I mean.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's funny because... Stop part if there's a zoo in the zoo.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_06]: We're still going to the park.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_04]: I got you, but nobody seems to notice this stuff.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_07]: and grow up when I grew up, maybe you don't know what I'm talking about.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_06]: It's a different time I'm talking.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_06]: It was a better time.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_06]: No social media, everybody.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_06]: Unheard of back when I grew up.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_06]: It's the phone rang and you weren't home, you didn't answer it, they called back.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_06]: That's the way it was.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_06]: You knew who the hell your neighbor was.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know anybody on this street.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_06]: Completely
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: I know I gotcha me too.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_06]: I don't everybody's signed a computer when I was y'all we play baseball We day you don't see that anywhere anymore mayor.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_06]: No, I agree kids in the basement play in violent video games In the basement 20 hours a day the parents let them get away with it.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_06]: I can't stack some at birds for them stairs Yep, in the same house I gotcha.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, okay
- 16:09[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you All right, well, he's upset about a lot of things today.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I agree that playing bass.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: I could remember playing bass ball over at Sherman Street school Just pick up games bunch of guys to get together One guy there.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was Mark Loughtis.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_04]: He's I think he worked for Niagara Mohawk later, but he was a left-handed here boy could he could he send that boy?
- 16:35[SPEAKER_04]: He was like the Willie McCovie of Sherman Street.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_04]: I'll tell you he could send that ball
- 16:39[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, those were good times.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_04]: You don't see that anymore.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_04]: And you're right.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, nobody talks in different rooms in your house to text each other.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_04]: And that's something.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's something.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_04]: Well, according to Channel 7, the North country's window on the world and finest, these three bids for the arena are mm-hmm.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_04]: Northern Credit Union.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_04]: offering a hundred and fifteen thousand dollars spread over five years hundred thousand going to the city and fifteen thousand being used for some sort of promotional purpose I'm don't know it's not really i don't know how relevant that is power play sports made it off of twelve thousand five hundred don't know who they are they didn't want to they gave them the use of the uh... arena for the hockey they're hockey team i don't
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: I would ward Hamilton say this down to have an end where I have water down savings bank offering 10,000 here for five years and added 5,000 to the offer to support events at the arena.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_04]: City leaders will mull over the bid to make a decision at a later time.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_04]: Well, they could pick one of the three or they could just say no, leave it as it is.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't know, that's over a five-year period, how to grand over five years is not a lot of money.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_04]: So, but they've committed to this path.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_04]: So I think they'll end up who's going to put the signage up though.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_04]: That would be a significant expense.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_04]: and do you know change a lot of things inside and everything else i mean it's not just you call it that you know and then you got to get the media buying into it you know where they uh... would they use the name or not somebody tax in city horny itself out for dollar well of course you know they think twenty thousand years a lot of money who
- 19:06[SPEAKER_04]: I'll tell you, and then they walked out without anybody approving it or asking, sign a contract to spend $450,000 on a demolition that we don't even know if it was really needed.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: It didn't really have an engineer going there.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_04]: And counsel last night tried to ask questions what they were like, well, yeah, you know, quickly pushed aside, you know.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: But after doing it on the air,
- 19:38[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if that's new money or if it was something already announced.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it's supposed to be new money is coming from the state, from the state taxpayers, which I'm one of those state taxpayers.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_05]: And they're going to get that money.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_05]: They could fix the sidewalks on our side of the state need be fixed.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_05]: and keep the pool on the other side of the city open.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_05]: Don't close it since it's a brand new pool.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_05]: And they shouldn't have to raise the taxes and other 11% of the city's tax bearers.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_05]: That they're going to get $1.6 million.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_05]: And then before that, I believe it's cost $38 million to fix the water plant in the water pump.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_05]: But the water reservoir up in the park is losing over a cost of millions gallons of water a day That the taxpayer's paying for it to no end on it to have a treated and everything Right I gotcha I don't understand it Yeah All right, thank you All right, thank you But after dinner on the air Good afternoon Jeff Jeff, how are you?
- 20:52[SPEAKER_03]: Good, how are you doing?
- 20:52[SPEAKER_03]: Good Hey, why didn't this lending agency
- 20:58[SPEAKER_03]: protect that asset i mean that's that was a taxpayers asset and uh... that that was the collateral against this loan that was given out i don't understand why by these banks and stuff just walk away from these places and it's like well they yeah that and of course that whole thing i mean anybody could have tell from from the beginning i mean that concept wasn't going to work and it didn't
- 21:28[SPEAKER_03]: at least not work for a work for a while and it drives up because you've got to have a you've got to have a pretty good sized population that runs through it I mean you can't do just to birthday parties a week or something expect to make money but no and it's not enough population here and you really need a brand name like a truckie cheese otherwise parents aren't going to be familiar you know I kind of feel comfortable going but you have you had even bigger firms like that you said to discover his own and some of these
- 21:58[SPEAKER_03]: They don't want good for about four years or so, and that'll be the end of that, but that's you've got corporate money being pumped into it too, so, but there's to be a big one down in these circuits, but you should go to it, and that kind of dried up and went away.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_03]: After you, you're going to take your kids once, it's like you're going to have a birthday party at this place, when the real little is you take them to McDonald's, that kind of thing, and whatever.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_03]: You want to mix it up, they don't want to go to the same place all the time, and you do it
- 22:28[SPEAKER_03]: But to walk away from that and nobody checking on that or keeping an eye on it because you're right.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_03]: The outside of the building looks good.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_03]: It's a roofed, it's the bad part.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_03]: But why wasn't somebody monitoring that?
- 22:39[SPEAKER_03]: Somebody must have to complain about you.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_03]: Neighbors and water town are reading next to that building.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure they cut off the entrance that goes into that building from the neighborhood.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_03]: But nobody's seen that going on and brought it to anybody's attention.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and when you tear it down, I think that's an addition to the yam saw building.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_04]: So, who's going to do the finishing work on what's left?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you'd have to put a new facade on, if some kind.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and usually on the situation, why didn't that woman do, uh, the skip town?
- 23:13[SPEAKER_03]: Why didn't she just sign off on everything and say, okay, I burnt in that way, because it sold the building or something, rather, I have a tight up and, uh, court.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_03]: you know that's kind of a shady deal in itself right okay all right and you saw house with a hole in it somewhere else well watch this video told you I'd put that to your attention a few years ago that there's a great house about the next door to where Javara realty used to be and uh the uh
- 23:50[SPEAKER_03]: Texas man.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_03]: Jerry what you call that is a county firm there.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_03]: It's about three doors up, but I mean you would drive down Washington, sure you see it.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_03]: The outside port just came in, the roof.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_03]: It's a danger.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_03]: And then you can see their souls on the roof.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_03]: It's been that way for a guy in least 10 years.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_03]: See it every day when I would go to this.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you can't catch everything, but I got to say, and this is not going to go over in some quarters, but when it's four o'clock, and you're looking at the city limit sign in a rear view mirror every day, you don't really have a feel for the community.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_04]: And that's across the board with department heads.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_04]: You know, they, they're going somewhere else.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_04]: If there's a hole in wherever they're going, I'm sure they noticed it.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it's, it's not a good situation.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_03]: busy street and I'm looking at say, well, you've got a cruise going in there, they're redoing the road to see the house was up to you have the ruckus people going by every day, you know, going by there and they're seeing that there's no trash out there and it's abandoned.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know, I had something, I guess it's a seasonal thing, but I see the campers, you know, they don't call them homeless anymore.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_04]: I was listening to city council meeting, they're calling them the unhoused.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_04]: So I guess, you know, that's the polite way to say it, but anyway, the homeless people they set up campsites in the wooded area behind me between not behind me in molten street.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_04]: And then they light campfires.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_04]: And this morning again, somebody up on East Maine called 911 because they saw smoke, which is understandable.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a fire truck pulling in a couple of cop cars and they go out in the woods and look around and I don't know what they found.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, that goes on quite a bit in the summer.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a game.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're going to go into abandoned buildings.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_03]: You start fires in the house and that's what you're saying.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_03]: Or they just drop dead in one of them and they find them a couple of years later.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_03]: It's crazy that what's going on, I mean, you remember, you had the occasional rule we used to call hobos that were coming in the water town, you know, in the summer, from October 2 and then they drift south again, they were just people, they were hobos, you know, I mean, if you'd like to door unlock or something, like grab something on here, but other than that, they weren't a lot of trouble, they'd stay down by the river or whatever and hang out and they'd move on to the next one, they'd hop a train or whatever.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_03]: But now these people, these people, there's a, there's some serious people out there with some serious problems.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: And we don't know what they're doing.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_03]: I would tell him that he was in front of the statue of the governor statue there.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_03]: And my wife handed him a $5 bill and he tore back at her.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_03]: He goes, I don't want $5.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_03]: I want $20.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I wouldn't give men, you don't want to give men anything.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm getting this now and I just straight up.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_03]: I go don't ever give anybody like that, right?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_03]: I'll bring this up and danger.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but yeah, you've got some crazy people around.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_03]: I'll tell you that.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_03]: You know, here we have a, right after the hurricane, there was a guy living near the publics and there's like a little wooded area and he was there and he had a camp on.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_03]: He put a sign out with a chair, you know, a neat cat food, I need this, I need that.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_03]: Finally, cops got sick of that, they went over there and they moved them out of there.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_04]: Right.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's what they do, that's what you're supposed to do.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_04]: Are you back up here yet?
- 27:40[SPEAKER_03]: We'll be in a week.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_04]: All right, good enough, listen.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_04]: I got a run, okay?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks, bye now.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_04]: And we'll be back with more in a moment with a big story.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_10]: Are you interesting, talk around the clock?
- 27:53[SPEAKER_10]: Depend on the news and talk of Thority, WATM-1240.

- 29:01[SPEAKER_16]: In every community, there are businesses that feel familiar.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_16]: The ones you recognize, the ones you trust, the ones they're to support you.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_16]: Connection doesn't happen by accident.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_16]: It happens when you stay present, when your message arrives with intention, when it reminds people you're right here.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_16]: Mail keeps local businesses visible.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_16]: It strengthens relationships.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_16]: It builds opportunity one household at a time.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_16]: At Kaufflin, we help businesses in our community create mailing strategies that support growth and strengthen connection.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_16]: Because when your neighbor knows you, they choose you.

- 29:42[SPEAKER_16]: Visit Kaufflin.co.direct-mail or give them a call.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_16]: 315-788-850.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_16]: That's 315-788-8560.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_16]: Kaufflin, male that inspires connection.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_18]: Do you or someone you know have half empty aerosol cans lying around and you're not sure what to do with them?
- 30:04[SPEAKER_18]: What about antifreeze or even old pool chemicals?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_18]: Now's your chance to clear them out free of charge.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_18]: On June 6th, the development authority of the North Country is partnering with the New York State DEC to host its annual household hazardous waste recycling day.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_18]: That means you can safely recycle items you can't toss in your regular trash.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_18]: Stop out to twenty one eight ninety seven county root one ninety in water town on Saturday June sixth from eight to noon and get rid of these items.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_18]: To pre-register and find out what's accepted, visit North Country Recycles.org slash household hazardous waste.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_18]: Again, that's North Country Recycles.org slash household hazardous waste.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_18]: Or call three one five six six
- 30:58[SPEAKER_10]: and talk authority WATM-1240.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_10]: Get into it and you'll be amazed what you get out of it.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_08]: What is it called in the street?
- 31:31[SPEAKER_08]: Let's show our history.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_04]: All right, remember that song, Ray Stevens?
- 31:36[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, eyes.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_04]: Why did Ray Stevens do the streak?
- 31:40[SPEAKER_04]: Early 70s, we hear.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_04]: Man, we had a little streak and over the weekend here in the North country.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, the rebound.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_04]: We're going to tell you about it here.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_04]: You won't hear this story elsewhere.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I just confirmed it through a second source, so I'm being a responsible journalist.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_04]: Although I'm not a licensed journalist.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_04]: Um, Copenhagen in Louis County, the village of Copenhagen on Friday.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_04]: We believe it was Friday night.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_04]: Someone came out of the, uh, when I'm told left the former Gavin Port hotel.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what it is now.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's a event center of some kind.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, carrying a flag, a beer.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_04]: and no pants, and was, yeah.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_04]: Remember back in the 70s, you'd get people who were naked and they'd streak.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_04]: I can remember one time they streaked.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_04]: I was before I was there, but the Channel 7 Studio.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_04]: I think Bob Tomkins was on or something, but yeah, that was something.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_04]: Joe Rich would remember that.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, this streaker ran down the street in Copenhagen.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_04]: and then entered the cottage in which is the restaurant bar right by the river and the bridge.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_04]: Apparently ran around in there and was later charged for trespassing in decent exposure and in danger and welfare of a child because they were children there, the children saw his junk apparently.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_04]: So, sleep a little village of Copenhagen,
- 33:12[SPEAKER_04]: And we hear it was like some kind of neighbor to neighbor retribution or something.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_04]: Um, don't know anything more than that.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, you won't hear it in the local news or see it in the papers.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_04]: But you'll hear it here.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know who arrest him, probably Lewis County Sheriff's deputies.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_04]: Call Carponelli.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_04]: See what he has to say about it.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_04]: The street, right in Copenhagen.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_04]: other things going on uh... let's see if we talk to a JB wise last night the council meeting council and i's born talked about pool fees around the state some of them were like five eight ten dollars so of course the premise was that people are getting a bargain here at three dollars and then you know council and garibrand had a good idea second meeting in a row he gets a good idea award uh... he was talking about
- 34:12[SPEAKER_04]: you have to include two EV charging stations.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: And that was passed back a few years ago when the planners thought, oh, we're going to be socially responsible and green new deal.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_04]: But it's very expensive to add that all the conduit and new service and the equipment and all of that, where most people don't really need it.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_04]: You know, and it's not.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_04]: It should be easy to put them in, but I remember a few years ago, I was talking to a company that had a deal going with National Grid, where you could put them in or cost you some money, but the people came up, they looked over the site, grid put a new entrance or transformer on the pole, then they went to get a building permit and they said you got to have stamped plans.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, well, we don't have to do that anywhere else, it's just a, like an outlet.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, you got to have all this stuff, and that makes, that means the engineering cartels got its hook send-up for a few thousand bucks, and it was shortly after that, I got sick and so the project fell by the wayside.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_04]: Never built.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_07]: And then, EVs went, you know, didn't catch on like we all thought they would.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_04]: So that was a great idea.
- 35:35[SPEAKER_04]: And Council and Garibrand asked that be removed from the code.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: And we'll see if there's like all sorts of memos from staff and all of that.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_04]: Man, we can't do that, you know.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_04]: Again, always got a reason why you can't do it.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_04]: Never a reason why you can.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_04]: Take it out of there.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_04]: And that's because Mr. Garibrand's intellectual engineer and probably has been involved in designing projects like that.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_04]: I don't even know who this is, but they should know enough not to call during the hotline.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_04]: Come on, man.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_04]: So, there's some of our headlines that you can talk about, and if you want to give us a call, please do so, 755-1240, is the phone number.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_04]: He's always talking to Russ this morning.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god, I told him he said, he was, remember the other day, he said he was supporting a constant Tina, because he lives in that district, but he always said, yes, reservations about the people running the campaign like they don't think they know a lot about ground games or any of that stuff or policies and everything, but candidate did a good job on that debate last week.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, then it's right back to Facebook with throwing insults, young him and smallen, back and forth.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: He read that story in the Times, which is really a press Republican story from how it east.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_04]: One of the things that Mr. Smallen said in that debate last week is when he got arrested in 2018 for filing fraudulent requests for veterans exemption on properties,
- 37:21[SPEAKER_04]: And he got charged and then they plea bargaining it down to some something piddly bit.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_04]: He says he was being picked on the same way President Bush is, or President Trump is.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of an interesting take.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_04]: Let's see.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody's writing me text messages here.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what says I gave it to the bar.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what they gave it to the bar tender.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_06]: It's.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_04]: I got you.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_04]: It's just some mail delivered in property.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's no big deal.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_04]: You don't have to call me here.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, let's see.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_04]: Well, any of any more details about that streaking incident in
- 38:26[SPEAKER_04]: Down in the Copenhagen, see I remember back in the early 70s, I was at JCC, now I was up at AV department, I had a part-time job there, camera club, all that nerdy stuff, you know nerdy.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: But that was a streaky era, and I happened to have my camera because it wasn't even
- 38:57[SPEAKER_04]: and camera taking regular pictures he didn't have a camera on you but I had one on me because I was always a shutter bug type so I got a picture as I'm black and white probably I shot it on triax or something from a distance away so we had to blow it up so I took the pictures I remember specifically I took him down to the water town daily times and went up to the second floor and saw a junior and he looked at him and
- 39:24[SPEAKER_04]: He said, well, it's a couple of them were rather graphic.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_04]: What can't run these?
- 39:28[SPEAKER_04]: And then he picked out one that he could run.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_04]: They didn't show the genitalia.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_04]: And they ran it in the paper.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_04]: So that was my only experience as a photojournalist in the print media.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_07]: But if it helped in the understanding of the phenomenon, and that's back when everybody read the paper.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm sorry they don't anymore.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_04]: But I don't know if anybody got it nowadays, somebody might have got a picture of that streaking incident in Copenhagen the other day.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, all you got to do is get yourself home now.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_04]: Most people have mouth all the time anyway, don't they?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, something to think of.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_04]: And, of course, we'll be back in just a couple minutes here on the hotline.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_10]: The news and talk authority.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_24]: There are two candidates for the Republican nomination for the Congressional seat being vacated by Congresswoman Elise Stufonic.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_24]: Let's compare them.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_24]: Anthony Constantino is a businessman, not a politician.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_24]: Starting with nothing.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_24]: He built a successful multi-million dollar online printing company based right here in Upstate New York, employing more than 1,000 people.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_24]: The other candidate, Robert Smullen, was arrested in 2018 for the first degree felony of filing false veterans tax exemption paperwork, for which he was not qualified.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_24]: Smullen then used his political contacts to negotiate the felony charge down to the violation of disorderly conduct.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_24]: Anthony Constantino is endorsed for Congress by President Donald Trump.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_24]: Robert Smullen is endorsed by the ultra-liberal New York State Teachers Union.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_24]: The choice is clear.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_24]: Anthony Constantino for Congress.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_24]: He's nobody's man but yours.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_09]: There's a family owned Mahindra tractor dealership near you and they're ready to help you take on whatever your land has in store.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_09]: Because every Mahindra is built to outwork and outlast the other guys.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_09]: With a powerful engine, heavy steel build and easy to use controls.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_09]: And with Mahindra's red hot spring savings, the time to put one to work on your land is now.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_09]: Logan's equipment is your Mahindra dealer and they have two locations to serve you on
- 42:17[SPEAKER_09]: See Logan's equipment today.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_09]: We're with Tyler and Colin at Logan's equipment.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_09]: Now, Tyler, what do you guys sell here?
- 42:23[SPEAKER_22]: Logan's equipment is home to Mahindra tractors and gravely long bars.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_22]: And we also offer American landmaster side by side.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_22]: Colin, why should customers rely on Logan's equipment?
- 42:31[SPEAKER_00]: Far more can your artwork is easier with equipment from Logan.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_09]: I hear customers are treated well here, Colin.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to taking care of our customers, we don't get around.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_22]: Guys, tell us where Logan's equipment is located.
- 42:41[SPEAKER_22]: Logan's become as located in Copenhagen on Route 12.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: And in Dexter on State Route 12.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_09]: Logan's equipment, the clear choice for your lawn and garden needs, see them this week.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_14]: Thousand Islands Country Club is the premier golf resort on Wellesley Island on the St. Lawrence River.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_14]: The Thousand Islands Country Club features two scenic 18-hole golf courses that offer not only challenging layouts, but scenic views of both the St. Lawrence River and the Lake of the Isles.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_14]: The old course originally built in 1894 is one of the oldest golf courses in the United States, and winds through some of the most unique terrain on Wellesley Island with breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_14]: The newer Lake Accords has a lot of
- 43:18[SPEAKER_14]: Lots of water to test your accuracy, yet is within reach of higher handicapped players, but Lake of course winds its way through both castles historic gondola canals.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_14]: You can visit the Thousand Islands Country Club by both with their 110-slip marinas, wine and dine at their bar and restaurant, and then stay tonight in one of their 20 rooms.

- 43:42[SPEAKER_14]: That's ti-countryclub.com.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_14]: The Thousand Islands Country Club, 46-433, County Route 100, Welsley Island.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_10]: The news and talk authority, W-E-T-A-M-1240.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_04]: It's all you need to know.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_04]: All you need to know, hey, it was primaries today and a half a dozen states.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_04]: most of them not much interest to us, but out in the Iowa, both parties are picking U.S. Senate candidates, the first people want to succeed Senator Jonny Ernst who's not running.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_04]: I've already picked out my favorite net race, so I don't have to worry about thinking about the issues or anything.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_04]: And out in California, of course, you've got the gubernatorial race, which is going to end up in a Democrat being elected no matter what in the fall.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_04]: And then you got that wild race for mayor of L.A. Los Angeles, and the mayor bass is in big big trouble, and this Mr. Pratt, they call him a reality TV star, what's a job?
- 44:49[SPEAKER_04]: You lost his house in the Palisades fire.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_04]: So anyway, yeah, that racing out L.A. is what people live in on the streets and you know, all of that starts, it's terrible, but you're not allowed to, they're like here at the water's on a city council, you can't call them homeless, you have to call them, he unhoused.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_04]: So, I don't know what that means, but you know, I don't know a lot about California or Southern California politics.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_04]: but you always hear all those names of places that are like part of LA, but then you look up a map this morning and they got more political subdivisions and lines and imaginary lines and anybody things like places like municipalities like Culver City and Beverly Hills are in the middle of Los Angeles
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a couple other little things in there and a lot of these other places are just outside like Pasadena.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_04]: And then, funny thing on the south side of the city, there's this long strip about 10 meters wide that goes down to the ocean.
- 46:11[SPEAKER_04]: And I think it's sand pod ray or something.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_04]: And that's where the port of LA is.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_04]: It's right next to the long beach port.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_04]: But it connects the main body of the city to this little on-clave on the ocean.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_07]: by something that's, you know, 10 meters wide.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of weird, but, um, they got lots of imaginary lines there.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_04]: We'd love it.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_04]: But have to do it on the air.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_23]: Hi, um, I just wanted to make a quick comment on the zoo.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_23]: Um, so I, uh, I should say, to be my family and I have been a big supporter of the zoo, but, um, one thing that has
- 46:54[SPEAKER_23]: with things after zoo is if you if you drove there to try to find information on volunteering or whatever they don't get back to you and I I think that's really something out of my way from the zoo business to your station or not I hope they do but I think that in some sense I at somebody who is a pretty strong support of the zoo I'm kind of pulling back a little bit of my support for
- 47:23[SPEAKER_23]: I try to get information on anything for, you know, I think they have a doctor garden thing that they use on it.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_04]: It's tough to run.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's tough to run a organization, sort of on the fly, that's why I've advocated for overall.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_04]: Park Zarr Superintendent and have the city operate the zoo and then you can have a coordination for things like volunteers or bring in other assets if you need them from the city workforce for a given project.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_04]: But my view point doesn't carry much weight, but maybe they listen to the show, I don't know.
- 48:03[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know if it was a very disheartened by it because I think I was there last week with my son and I was asking, no, hey, do you guys still do this at the top of the Garden Program?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_23]: Mm-hmm.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_23]: They had done it the last couple of years and we signed up to the information on it last fall and what not and then this spring came around, you know, finally, because we were not to get off site, they get up there and ask about, they're like, oh, we don't know any information on it.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_23]: They still had sheets about it, advertising it, but they didn't know any information on it,
- 48:32[SPEAKER_23]: Now it's a lady who allegedly coordinates the whole thing, talking to us the next day, never roots for anybody.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_23]: Well, I don't know.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_23]: I don't know.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what to say if they're listening fine, but it is tough to really have that type of operation running without some kind of people who are doing it because it's their livelihood.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_04]: So volunteers are fine.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like candy strippers at the hospital, but somebody's got to be running in the hospital.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_23]: Oh, absolutely.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_23]: Like I said, the biggest thing is I said was the was a adoptive garden.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_23]: They might say, I saw they were doing it last couple years.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_23]: Oh, I got the great idea.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_23]: Yeah, see if I can do it this year with my son and we went up there last week to try to try to find out information on how we could do it.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_23]: You know, it's can you get a whole of anybody and, you know, I think my concern a little bit with the zoo is, you know, they got this.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_23]: Injection of money will call it last year, and then I know everyone's hoping they're going to continue to have this momentum, but I feel like I feel like they're losing that momentum, and that's coming from funny who is the supporter of the zoo, and I also mean last year as the council meeting.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you could call Dr. Erwin or something, see what?
- 49:49[SPEAKER_23]: Oh yeah.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_23]: Well, well, good.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_23]: But I mean I know even the Dr. Kim, Dr. Timple last year at the City Council meeting, I said something about it, you know, at the City Council meeting in Dr. Timple was supposed to get in touch with the due and be a little more.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_23]: Right.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_23]: I guess try to be that bridge between the City Council and I feel like that just kind of fell apart as well.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_23]: You know, I don't know.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_23]: I don't really know what to say about it either, but.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_23]: That's all I really want to say about it.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_04]: Alrighty.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: All right, well, thanks for the call.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they heard it.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_04]: I know.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know what to say.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Councilman shown is supposed to be like the liaison to the Conservancy Board or whatever.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, let's see what else have we got here, somebody.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_04]: Some people text me, you need to publicly apologize to all people who work from home.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_07]: You upset a lot of people.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know as I did.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: I think that was yesterday, we were talking about all that the hopes about working in all that.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, obviously, if you're at home and you're, you know, you can do some things online, but that should be augmenting, not replacing, going to work, you should still go to work every day.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_04]: If you check your emails or respond to them or, you know, stuff like that, enter some data.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_04]: as far as working from home.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_04]: No that was a that was a big hoax hoax that gained steam during the uh the COVID hoax.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah and um I don't know.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_04]: Well let's take a a little bit of a break here and then we'll be back with more in just a moment.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_10]: Around the corner, around the continent, around the clock.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_10]: This is the news in talk
- 51:46[SPEAKER_13]: W-A-T-N. Carrengers contracting the roof people who call you back trying to get me to roof get a road or a place where I'm a case.

- 54:55[SPEAKER_10]: Depend on it.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_04]: They've end out of it, indeed.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_04]: So if you were sitting in a restaurant like those people were up in Copenhagen the other night, all of a sudden Somebody comes through exposing their junk and all of that in front of your family.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_04]: What would you do?
- 55:10[SPEAKER_04]: Take a picture, tackle them.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I don't know I don't know why someone would do that
- 55:20[SPEAKER_04]: There's kind of a campy thing to do back in the early 70s, but not now.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_04]: So, what do you want to get the, uh, their name on the arena?
- 55:35[SPEAKER_04]: You know they're going to grab the money, nor is there in federal credit union or water town savings bank.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_04]: There's another baseball card shop or something that bit on it, but they're not going to get it.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_04]: I would say they're going to probably give it to waterchown savings bank, just beg on basis of connections.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they're basically the same offer.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_04]: So are to say, you know, I don't, I can't say I really know what they'll do.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: You know, if they hadn't given away all the,
- 56:19[SPEAKER_04]: commercial opportunities within the park and the golf club, then they wouldn't have to worry about that stuff, but they didn't.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_04]: I would want to know if I was on council.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_04]: How would you do on those T signs up in the park?
- 56:34[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_04]: We won't know.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, there's
- 56:51[SPEAKER_04]: For instance, that big golf ball that's out front, putting a tight list on that and getting them to give you a thousand bucks or something.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you got to have somebody who can sell space on the fire trucks, the police vehicles, garbage trucks, certainly.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe we could advertise, pick and go on a side of our garbage trucks at me.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: um... but maybe they won't give it to any of these people um... hmm well let's see looking at things on here about uh... well i'm not a good show last night i didn't hear it
- 57:52[SPEAKER_04]: but he had a good show.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, a homeless man was arrested for stealing a 2015 Kies Serrento from the McDonald's parking lot.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_04]: You're in water town.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, wow.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_04]: Just took it.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_04]: Just took it.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's something from Glenn Show from last night.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_03]: you think, you know, then they act like you're dumb.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, you're dumb.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, no, no, really, if there was a camera on me that I would look like the odd man out, everyone knows what to do and I don't go there enough and I always forget.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_09]: But you're right, it just, I need to be hit over the head and it's just, it's just not there.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_09]: That seems as if there's only one person working there, other than the guy with the enormous tractor, that's fighting off Seagulls all the time because he's got a bunch of stuff on it on his pocket.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_09]: Right, right, right, right.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_09]: I've still got Jeff was talking about dilapidated houses.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, turn them down.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's a, there's an old rooming house on wash this street, almost next door to Jiberi.
- 59:06[UNKNOWN]: Right, Jiberi used to be.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, oh, there you are.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_04]: That's a dog from yesterday.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_04]: Um, I don't know what else he was talking about.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_04]: Sea goals and a tractor and wine show sort of a stream of consciousness.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_04]: If you know what I mean, sort of the ranting of a,
- 59:23[SPEAKER_04]: person with a casual relationship with the reality I guess you'd have to say but it's interesting to say the least story on the news about e-bikes all looking at anyway uh... that's our show for today Glenn will begin at five you don't want to miss it uh... and of course you're listening to all of this radio splendor as well as do with this time on a community broadcast to station
- 59:53[SPEAKER_04]: We are AM-1240WATN.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_04]: We're in Watertown, New York, the time.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_04]: Wanna clock?
- 59:59[SPEAKER_04]: ABC News.
