- 0:46Speaker 3: Yep, yep, you may hear your enthusiasm in my voice.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Exciting so much, looking forward to it, so much, looking
- 0:53Speaker 3: forward to it. Yeah, no, I couldn't figure out. You know,
- 0:55Speaker 3: it's never a good time to have a procedure, and
- 0:58Speaker 3: it's never a good time, ever necessary. But it's never
- 1:02Speaker 3: a fun planning a colonoscopy. He's never fun planning the colonoscopy.
- 1:06Speaker 3: You never know what day is going to be a
- 1:08Speaker 3: good day. It's never a good day to do it.
- 1:09Speaker 4: So you've done one before, it's not your first time.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I've had a scan like I did.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I did this sort of like it's not so intense one,
- 1:17Speaker 3: but this is the intense one.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Oh, this is really.
- 1:20Speaker 4: You like drink the milky thing or something.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Well, that's what's going to tell you. I'm in prep
- 1:24Speaker 3: mode right now, so beware. I'm here, but I'm prepping,
- 1:29Speaker 3: so beware. Got a couple of long songs in the Q.
- 1:32Speaker 5: If needed saying, you're gonna be able to leave the
- 1:34Speaker 5: studio like every ten minutes.
- 1:36Speaker 3: It's my doctor told me, yes, you can go do
- 1:39Speaker 3: the show this morning and then come to the colonoscopy.
- 1:43Speaker 3: But please don't let them make you laugh. I said, well,
- 1:46Speaker 3: that won't be a problem.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Why excuse me?
- 1:50Speaker 4: Impossible excuse me.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Yeah, see that's not funny. That did not make me laugh.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you do make me laugh, beware, I'm
- 1:59Speaker 3: in prep mode for the klonoscopy. Two point seven. It's
- 2:02Speaker 3: kiss im good morning. We've got Zara Larson tickets coming
- 2:06Speaker 3: up in a few minutes and a second date update.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Dating is not fun, It's it can be very typical.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Right, you go through your your performance. First date, you
- 2:17Speaker 3: look for things. I mean you kind of dread. I
- 2:20Speaker 3: dread the date because I'm like, oh gosh, what am
- 2:22Speaker 3: I have to talk about my favorite color, my favorite place?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Really, like what are we going to have? People ask?
- 2:31Speaker 6: Really?
- 2:32Speaker 3: I me too, But yes, the conversation is so surface.
- 2:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 2:38Speaker 8: But also if it's like you never want a moment
- 2:40Speaker 8: of silence, so you just start whipping out whatever questions.
- 2:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, Like literally, when you get that awkward moment and
- 2:50Speaker 3: you're quiet and she's quiet, and you both sort of
- 2:53Speaker 3: know you're both quiet, you got to be the one
- 2:57Speaker 3: to bring up something.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Have you ever parachuted?
- 3:00Speaker 9: Got up?
- 3:01Speaker 3: I got a couple of my pocket questions like that,
- 3:03Speaker 3: it's got a mini golf. Rapid fire, Yeah, rapid fire stuff.
- 3:08Speaker 3: So they opened the new wing, the David Geffen Wing
- 3:12Speaker 3: to Lakhma the museum. You know, been building it across
- 3:15Speaker 3: Wilship for a long time. I had not been to
- 3:18Speaker 3: go see it. I just went to go see it.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Wow.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I mean, it's one thing to drive under it on Wheelshire,
- 3:23Speaker 3: but it is just remarkable and beautiful.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Have you guys been No?
- 3:27Speaker 3: No, it's stunning to go in because you know, if
- 3:32Speaker 3: you go to museums generally, if you go look at
- 3:35Speaker 3: art generally, many times you're in a dark room. It's
- 3:39Speaker 3: just dark, right, you know a lot of space, open
- 3:42Speaker 3: space and darkness, and you kind of feel it fatigues you,
- 3:45Speaker 3: Like I get tired after a minute or two, you know,
- 3:48Speaker 3: maybe ten minutes, but it's just like sort of drains
- 3:51Speaker 3: you a little bit after a while. Well, it's all sunlight.
- 3:53Speaker 3: They have little pockets of rooms, but the amount of
- 3:56Speaker 3: sunlight that comes through from Wheelshire it's beautiful. If you've
- 4:00Speaker 3: not been to Lakma to see this, I highly recommend
- 4:05Speaker 3: you put it on your program.
- 4:06Speaker 2: There's an air one.
- 4:07Speaker 3: They built an air one, so influencers are out there
- 4:10Speaker 3: just taking pictures of their their cookies, their snickers, and
- 4:13Speaker 3: that's what we need. An air one there. But at
- 4:17Speaker 3: the museum you got to get a snack. You gotta hydrate.
- 4:20Speaker 2: They've got the.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Juice and all that stuff. There's an air one there.
- 4:23Speaker 3: But it's really beautiful. And one of the things I
- 4:26Speaker 3: don't know if you knew this, but I thought this
- 4:27Speaker 3: was so cool. They have mobile Lacma classrooms now like
- 4:34Speaker 3: tractor trailer trailers. Yeah, and so This didn't happen when
- 4:38Speaker 3: I was in school. You know. Now they can take
- 4:41Speaker 3: artworks or pottery, whatever the exhibit is, and they put
- 4:46Speaker 3: in the back of a tractor trailer, says Lacma.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And they'll take it to kids' schools.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Oh that's really cool.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I mean, I guess you kind of want to leave
- 4:54Speaker 3: for the field trip, like the time that you get
- 4:55Speaker 3: out of class. But they'll be able to visit more
- 4:58Speaker 3: students around southern cal And it's a really cool hands
- 5:02Speaker 3: on experience. They do it for free. I thought it
- 5:04Speaker 3: was super cool that they get to do that. Kids
- 5:07Speaker 3: get to have that chance to do that. So when
- 5:10Speaker 3: you go on a date, I'm speaking to the daters.
- 5:12Speaker 3: When you need an activity for a date, this is it, Lakhma.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Take them on a date there. It's a super cool date.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I love that look ahead at what might be on display,
- 5:25Speaker 3: so you can have an answer to a question if
- 5:27Speaker 3: anybody asks you. I made up a lot of answers.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I just pretend to be glib and like, oh, yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 3: I know, I know their work. Their work is set up.
- 5:35Speaker 3: What's one of the great works of.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Their work famous sculptures.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah, one of the great works of their work. Were
- 5:42Speaker 2: in that.
- 5:42Speaker 9: Period on a date.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah you were? Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 3: The lead. That's why I wanted to bring it up.
- 5:51Speaker 3: It's a perfect date experience. Oh yeah, wouldn't you have
- 5:56Speaker 3: liked to been there? You want me to be I
- 5:58Speaker 3: thought about inviting you, as I thought, you know what,
- 6:00Speaker 3: you would distract me.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I wouldn't be able to focus.
- 6:03Speaker 3: You'd hear me making up all kinds of things about
- 6:06Speaker 3: the artists that I just don't know.
- 6:07Speaker 4: So was that a first date or second date?
- 6:09Speaker 3: Oh?
- 6:10Speaker 4: No, more yeah, way in you're way in.
- 6:15Speaker 2: No, not way in. But it wasn't a second.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Oh all right, I recommend it, Black, I recommend it,
- 6:22Speaker 3: okaym Bruno, Mars, I just might check it. Second date
- 6:30Speaker 3: update coming up in a few minutes, and we're paying
- 6:32Speaker 3: your bills again all day Thursday, all day Friday. But again,
- 6:36Speaker 3: so Ruby, I understand that there's a little stress you're
- 6:40Speaker 3: going through right now in the back room.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm a little a stress, so you know, just are
- 6:45Speaker 1: you a little Sabrina A little bit?
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:47Speaker 2: Okay, a stress tho, Well, yeah, tell me what's happening.
- 6:50Speaker 2: How can we help?
- 6:51Speaker 10: I just I've been feeling a little bit overwhelmed lately,
- 6:54Speaker 10: and I didn't. I was trying to pinpoint what it
- 6:56Speaker 10: was and I have You know, I have two sisters
- 6:59Speaker 10: I'm very close to. One of them is going through
- 7:01Speaker 10: a major change, she left a job that she was
- 7:03Speaker 10: at for like a decade, and the other one is
- 7:05Speaker 10: going through a major heartbreak. So they're both calling me
- 7:08Speaker 10: and texting me at all times, and just yeah, I
- 7:10Speaker 10: am their soundboard and I want to be there for them.
- 7:12Speaker 10: But I feel like I am also trying to figure
- 7:16Speaker 10: out how to like set a boundary as well, because
- 7:19Speaker 10: I don't want to end up, you know, depleted. So
- 7:22Speaker 10: I was like, let me talk to Guru Ry and
- 7:24Speaker 10: see what you suggest, because I feel like you're right.
- 7:27Speaker 10: You've been in like the zen Den lately.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I've been in the Zenden. Yeah, I've been in the
- 7:32Speaker 3: Gurus garage. You know, I've just been sort of hanging
- 7:35Speaker 3: out with the Guruz garage. Listen to these iBooks, sad Gurus.
- 7:40Speaker 3: The Guru I was listening to. I love his thoughts.
- 7:42Speaker 3: I love the spirituality. Well, first of all, now you
- 7:46Speaker 3: don't you can't get to a place where you feel depleted.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That's just not a good feeling.
- 7:52Speaker 3: But you also do I admire that both of your
- 7:56Speaker 3: sisters are coming to you as the voice of guidance
- 7:59Speaker 3: and wisdom. What specifically is draining you? This was what
- 8:03Speaker 3: the guru would ask.
- 8:05Speaker 4: I think it's just that.
- 8:06Speaker 10: I think it's it's wanting to you know, they're like
- 8:09Speaker 10: calling and texting at all times, and I am just
- 8:12Speaker 10: taking in a lot of you know, their training, but
- 8:16Speaker 10: I want to be there for them and I because
- 8:18Speaker 10: you know they're there for me as well. And if
- 8:20Speaker 10: you have a sister, you know like that's your go to.
- 8:23Speaker 10: But it's like trying to find that balance. I think
- 8:25Speaker 10: that's what it is.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Well, remember that the way you feel is a choice.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Like the stress that you feel is you're I mean,
- 8:32Speaker 3: you kind of choose to feel the stress and get
- 8:34Speaker 3: amped up and get the anxiety and get the panic.
- 8:37Speaker 3: So here's what I recommend from Rye Rise Guru Garage,
- 8:41Speaker 3: and that is eight counts eight times, breathe in, breathe out,
- 8:47Speaker 3: eight counts, three rounds ten times, So you breathe in.
- 8:52Speaker 4: What did you just say?
- 8:53Speaker 9: Yes?
- 8:55Speaker 3: So basically in my book, three times ten times, here's
- 9:00Speaker 3: what you do. You're gonna do three rounds of eight
- 9:02Speaker 3: count breathing ten times.
- 9:03Speaker 2: So you're gonna go in.
- 9:07Speaker 3: To ten to ten, go in and out to ten,
- 9:11Speaker 3: do that ten times. Are in to we'll have time
- 9:14Speaker 3: to do all but in ten out ten that's round one.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Do it ten times, in out that's two. Then do
- 9:20Speaker 3: three times. By the end of the third time, I'm
- 9:23Speaker 3: gonna yeah, TuS.
- 9:26Speaker 5: You're saying ten times and then three times. So I
- 9:29Speaker 5: just don't understand three rounds of tens.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I understand.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Ten count ten times three rounds. You can't be spiritual
- 9:41Speaker 3: if you aren't open minded.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Basically like fifteen reps three rounds, Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Thank you, but it's ten reps. Breathe in maybe seven
- 9:51Speaker 3: seconds breathing. See however you can breathe in too long. Well,
- 9:55Speaker 3: breathe in, breathe out. Three rounds times ten. My gosh,
- 9:58Speaker 3: you guys dressing the guru out.
- 10:01Speaker 4: That stressed me out.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Then oh yeah, and.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Then and then we're gonna say a little spiritual prayer.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And I'll tell you what that is when I think
- 10:12Speaker 2: of it.
- 10:14Speaker 3: But you know, a spiritual prayer about you decide how
- 10:17Speaker 3: you feel, You decide how much energy you put out,
- 10:19Speaker 3: You decide how and who drains you. You are in
- 10:24Speaker 3: control of that and with that, good luck. Now opearing's
- 10:29Speaker 3: gonna be okay. By the way, at two point seven
- 10:31Speaker 3: kiss FM, I got a quote of the day and
- 10:34Speaker 3: also something that struck me. The street sweeping tickets are
- 10:39Speaker 3: the worst, right, the street sweeping ticket seventy three bucks.
- 10:44Speaker 3: I mean, haven't we all fallen victim at one time
- 10:47Speaker 3: or another?
- 10:48Speaker 4: For sure?
- 10:49Speaker 2: So you can do this. Here's my tip. You can
- 10:51Speaker 2: do this.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Apparently they switched to bi weekly sweeping a few years ago.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Now you can get an email reminder, which have saved
- 11:01Speaker 3: I think a lot of us. You can get an
- 11:02Speaker 3: email reminder about the sweeping so that you don't get
- 11:06Speaker 3: your ticket.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Smart.
- 11:08Speaker 5: They never switched the signs, so the signs still say
- 11:11Speaker 5: every Thursday or every Friday or whatever day it is.
- 11:14Speaker 4: It is bi weekly.
- 11:15Speaker 11: Now.
- 11:15Speaker 4: A lot of people don't realize that.
- 11:17Speaker 2: No, I did not know.
- 11:18Speaker 3: So check it out today's quote. There is no path
- 11:23Speaker 3: to happiness. Happiness is the path. Yeah, oh yeah, there
- 11:31Speaker 3: is no time. It's just what you make it like.
- 11:35Speaker 3: This is this thing is time? We made that up time?
- 11:37Speaker 1: No, I think time is real.
- 11:39Speaker 2: No, we made up time.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Time didn't exist until somebody, some human being made up time.
- 11:44Speaker 1: So if there's no time, it's great. No, that's not
- 11:48Speaker 1: that's great.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Don't make me laugh. I'm prepping for a colonoscopy today.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I'm not allowed to laugh. Kaylanie one at two point
- 11:55Speaker 3: seven Kiss FM review was telling me she stressed out,
- 11:58Speaker 3: and I said, du a little breathing, breathe in, breathe out,
- 12:02Speaker 3: three rounds of ten. Because she's been drained by other
- 12:06Speaker 3: people's problems, I said, just this.
- 12:09Speaker 8: Is a return to sound, meditative base experience.
- 12:14Speaker 2: To listen to something like this.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Comfortable place to relax. You know who's doing this now,
- 12:20Speaker 4: little John?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, meditation like yoga.
- 12:24Speaker 1: No way, Ryan's listening to that.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Let's take a moment to be still and transmut.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm doing this all the time.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I can see you doing that actually means two minutes
- 12:38Speaker 3: and yeah, this is like a fourteen minute program.
- 12:40Speaker 4: And that's what gets him through his day.
- 12:42Speaker 3: That's what gets me through my day. Do you know
- 12:44Speaker 3: how hard it is to work with you guys?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Sometimes, like the challenges.
- 12:49Speaker 12: Of Energy FM headlines, Well, all lanes are closed in
- 12:55Speaker 12: both directions on the one time freeway through San Pedro
- 12:58Speaker 12: after a fire erupted inside at a tunnel last night.
- 13:01Speaker 4: More on this.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Coming up with Ginger Chan, but it may be days
- 13:05Speaker 5: before all lanes reopen. State Farm may temporarily lose its
- 13:09Speaker 5: California license after an investigation found it underpaid claims from
- 13:13Speaker 5: the Palisades and eaten fires. Wildlife officials tranquilized a bear
- 13:18Speaker 5: that was seen roaming a neighborhood near Hanson Dam in
- 13:22Speaker 5: Pacoima yesterday, and FIFA is turning each World Cup game
- 13:27Speaker 5: into a public celebration, sponsoring ten outdoor fan zone watch
- 13:31Speaker 5: parties across La County.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I want a two point seven kiss FMLA about to
- 13:36Speaker 3: get into a second date update and pay a bill First,
- 13:38Speaker 3: I want to go to Kim kim Is on Van
- 13:41Speaker 3: Eyes Kim, Good morning.
- 13:44Speaker 11: Hi, good morning.
- 13:46Speaker 3: So your question is is the thermostat temperature and setting
- 13:52Speaker 3: for the guest or for the host to decide?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Tell me why you asked this?
- 13:58Speaker 11: Yeah, I stay at a friend's house last weekend and
- 14:00Speaker 11: like her place was freezing and I'm talking like hoodies.
- 14:05Speaker 11: I was wearing socks under a blanket cold.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yeah, And you know, the first I.
- 14:11Speaker 11: Didn't say anything, but the second day I finally mentioned it,
- 14:13Speaker 11: and I was just like, hey, is there anybody, we
- 14:16Speaker 11: can like bump it up a little, and she did,
- 14:19Speaker 11: I guess, but it was maybe like two degrees made
- 14:21Speaker 11: no difference. I was freezing the entire time.
- 14:24Speaker 3: So here's I don't know what you and Siceny and
- 14:28Speaker 3: Tanya and Ruby and everybody here thinks. But I believe
- 14:32Speaker 3: if you're if someone has been.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Well, I go two ways.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I like to be a good host, so I kind
- 14:37Speaker 3: of adjusted for them, But I also think if you're
- 14:40Speaker 3: staying with them under their roof, then it's kind of
- 14:43Speaker 3: their call.
- 14:46Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:47Speaker 11: I didn't want to keep pushing it because you know,
- 14:49Speaker 11: it is her house, but I was honestly so uncomfortable
- 14:53Speaker 11: the entire weekend, and so yeah, I was basically wondering, like,
- 14:56Speaker 11: what is the etiquette?
- 14:57Speaker 4: Here's a post?
- 14:59Speaker 3: How about look compromise between the two of you it say, Hey,
- 15:02Speaker 3: I mean, can I not have it at sixty seven,
- 15:04Speaker 3: doesn't have to be seventy nine, but can we get
- 15:07Speaker 3: up in there in the seventies seventy.
- 15:08Speaker 2: One to share it? Yeah?
- 15:09Speaker 3: I mean, look, compromise if you're staying at that person's house.
- 15:13Speaker 3: These are tricky things. That's why I don't like to
- 15:15Speaker 3: stay with anybody ever, because it's just I don't know. Towels,
- 15:19Speaker 3: water pressure like stuff happens, and what are you gonna say?
- 15:22Speaker 2: What are you gonna do? You can't you know? And
- 15:26Speaker 2: that's it. So have a great day. Thank you, Kim,
- 15:29Speaker 2: appreciate you listening to us.
- 15:31Speaker 3: It's one of two point seven Kiss FM. Mikey is
- 15:35Speaker 3: on the line in Sherman, Oak. So, Mikey, thanks for
- 15:37Speaker 3: coming on Second Date update. It's just not fun to date.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I mean, it sounds great until you actually have to
- 15:44Speaker 3: go do it. So, Mikey, you met her Dodger fan,
- 15:48Speaker 3: took her to a game, had a great time, and
- 15:52Speaker 3: then what you asked her out a second time and
- 15:54Speaker 3: she's blowing you off or she said no, what happened?
- 15:58Speaker 9: Okay, yeah, so I guess let's talk about it? Right.
- 16:01Speaker 9: So I was, I was at the bar, right, and
- 16:04Speaker 9: I came back from my or from the bathroom, right,
- 16:06Speaker 9: and she's sitting in my seat right. So I said, hey,
- 16:09Speaker 9: I was like, you're in my seat, and she goes
- 16:11Speaker 9: prove it. Oh, the place was packed, right, and we
- 16:14Speaker 9: basically ended up sharing a bar stool like we just
- 16:17Speaker 9: kind of it was like a twoe thing, right, and
- 16:18Speaker 9: then we flirted the whole game, right, And at one
- 16:20Speaker 9: point I said to her. I was like, I was like,
- 16:22Speaker 9: all right, if the Dodgers win this game, you'll go
- 16:24Speaker 9: out on a date with me, like kind of like
- 16:26Speaker 9: joking or whatever. Right, it was a joke because we
- 16:28Speaker 9: were up ahead like six two in the eight, so
- 16:31Speaker 9: I was just like, obviously a joke. She agreed though,
- 16:33Speaker 9: and they won, so she gave me her number, and
- 16:38Speaker 9: then what, all right, so my work gets tickets like sometimes, right,
- 16:43Speaker 9: so I asked, and like I got lucky. Right. So
- 16:46Speaker 9: we went to the Dodgers Cubs game on that Friday,
- 16:49Speaker 9: and I was gonna get a Dodger dog and I
- 16:51Speaker 9: assume that she get like a salad or something, but
- 16:53Speaker 9: she also ordered a Dodger dog. And I was like,
- 16:55Speaker 9: oh no, I'm in trouble, right, I mean, I mean
- 16:58Speaker 9: it was great, like right, like we talked a out
- 17:00Speaker 9: weird yelled at the dumpstar, I ran into my cousin
- 17:02Speaker 9: Like could not have been a better night, right. So
- 17:06Speaker 9: we walked back to my car, right, which is it's
- 17:08Speaker 9: a long walk, right, And I'm holding her hand just
- 17:09Speaker 9: for a minute, and she's kind of like kind of
- 17:11Speaker 9: like she kind of like found an excuse to like
- 17:13Speaker 9: stop holding my hands, right, And so then I kissed
- 17:17Speaker 9: her good night, And when I dropped her off, it
- 17:19Speaker 9: seemed like her heart kind of wasn't in it, you know,
- 17:21Speaker 9: so like I don't know, something happened towards the end
- 17:24Speaker 9: of the game. I really don't know what it was.
- 17:25Speaker 9: I want this to work, but it just it felt weird.
- 17:28Speaker 9: Great day and then ended real weird.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Well, bro, she's not into you. It sounds like she's
- 17:32Speaker 3: just not vibing. I mean, she gave it a shot.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Doesn't sound like she's into you. I mean she gave
- 17:36Speaker 3: you the courtesy kiss. But I'll find out. I mean,
- 17:39Speaker 3: you like her, Let's find out if something went wrong
- 17:41Speaker 3: or if it's just not there. You know, many times
- 17:43Speaker 3: it's just not there.
- 17:44Speaker 2: It's no one's.
- 17:45Speaker 9: Fault y'all gonna help me find out though, because I
- 17:48Speaker 9: mean the date.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Was great in your view, But did she think? So
- 17:53Speaker 3: we'll call her, we'll get on the phone, we'll ask her.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Next one O two point seven kiss FM. So I
- 17:58Speaker 3: want to jump into this. My man Mikey here he
- 18:01Speaker 3: goes and meets this woman named Jocelyn. They end up
- 18:06Speaker 3: going to a Dodger game. Both Dodger fans. He said
- 18:08Speaker 3: it was a great date. The game was amazing, and
- 18:13Speaker 3: afterwards they kissed. He said, though when they kissed he
- 18:17Speaker 3: didn't feel she was feeling it.
- 18:20Speaker 2: He didn't think she was into it.
- 18:21Speaker 4: That's the worst.
- 18:22Speaker 3: And so maybe she courtesy kissed and is now blowing
- 18:27Speaker 3: him off. She won't commit to a second date. He thinks, Wait,
- 18:30Speaker 3: everything went perfectly. It has to be something else.
- 18:33Speaker 7: What is it?
- 18:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Guys, chemistry sometimes just isn't there. You know, you can't
- 18:38Speaker 3: force it. So Mike, Yeah, I got her on the phone.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Be very quiet. Let me talk to her here. We're
- 18:42Speaker 2: all gonna talk to her.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Okay, hang on, Joscelyn, good morning, and thank you for
- 18:47Speaker 3: a green to come on Kiss FM. It's Ryan, It's
- 18:49Speaker 3: Cisiny and Tanya. You're on the air with us.
- 18:51Speaker 2: How are you.
- 18:53Speaker 7: I'm doing well about yourself.
- 18:55Speaker 2: We're doing great. Thank you.
- 18:56Speaker 3: So we're calling you about a guy named Mikey that
- 18:59Speaker 3: you went on a date with to the Dodger game.
- 19:03Speaker 9: Yeah, Dodger dude, tell me.
- 19:05Speaker 2: About my key. What do you like about this guy?
- 19:09Speaker 11: Yeah, he's a good dude.
- 19:12Speaker 7: He's not my dude, but yeah, he's a good dude.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Did you kiss him?
- 19:18Speaker 9: Well, what do you think?
- 19:20Speaker 4: Good dude?
- 19:20Speaker 9: Kiss him?
- 19:21Speaker 7: Tell?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Yeah, if you wouldn't mind.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, yeah we kissed.
- 19:30Speaker 2: How was the kiss?
- 19:33Speaker 7: It was fine. I don't know. I feel a little
- 19:35Speaker 7: weird talking about him on the radio.
- 19:37Speaker 3: I do too, I do too, believe me. Yeah, so listen, Jocelyn,
- 19:43Speaker 3: he's not your guy? Why is there a reason?
- 19:48Speaker 7: I mean, I was having a good time and then uh,
- 19:52Speaker 7: he got this text from his cousin and apparently his
- 19:55Speaker 7: cousin was at the game, and so he went to
- 19:57Speaker 7: say hi to him, and then he was gone for
- 19:59Speaker 7: like three innings.
- 20:02Speaker 2: So he was not so purteous. He disappeared for a while.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Yeah, like, why not bring me along and we can
- 20:09Speaker 7: both say to your cousin and then we'll come back
- 20:11Speaker 7: to this.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Like it's not that deep, it's so considerate. I understand. Okay,
- 20:15Speaker 3: So no shot to go out with him again?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:19Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't. I don't think so.
- 20:21Speaker 2: I understood.
- 20:23Speaker 3: And Mikey is on the phone right now. Mikey, you
- 20:25Speaker 3: just heard Joscelyn say, did you kind of leave her
- 20:27Speaker 3: hanging for our three innings?
- 20:31Speaker 10: Uh?
- 20:31Speaker 9: Yeah, listen, you're She's right. I was that was pretty stupid. Like,
- 20:37Speaker 9: you're right, but I didn't think you'd want to meet
- 20:39Speaker 9: my family on like a first date, Like it seemed
- 20:41Speaker 9: like a lot you know.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, but it's your cousin. It wasn't your mom.
- 20:46Speaker 9: It would have been fine. It's just a long.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Time to disappear. I wouldn't want you to leave me
- 20:52Speaker 2: for three innings at the game.
- 20:53Speaker 11: Bro.
- 20:55Speaker 9: No, I know, I know, but he's a talker, like
- 20:58Speaker 9: I was. I was trying to get away, I swear,
- 21:00Speaker 9: but like he kind of just roped me in a
- 21:01Speaker 9: little bit.
- 21:03Speaker 7: Yeah, there was borderline humiliating. I actually thought that maybe
- 21:07Speaker 7: you'd abandon me, and then I was thinking about how
- 21:09Speaker 7: I was going to get home.
- 21:11Speaker 9: So look, Mikey, I mean I would so I would
- 21:15Speaker 9: never do that, all right, Like I mean, like I'm young,
- 21:18Speaker 9: I'm a little naive, but I'm a bit of a
- 21:20Speaker 9: work in progress like you. But like I can learn,
- 21:22Speaker 9: I can do better, I swear, and I would have
- 21:24Speaker 9: never left you there, and I can do better.
- 21:26Speaker 7: I put that that's the thing I think I deserve
- 21:29Speaker 7: better than a work in progress, Like I want a
- 21:31Speaker 7: fully formed man. I don't want to project, you know,
- 21:34Speaker 7: but good luck Ashiel and go Dodgers.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Well, thank you Johnson for coming on with us. I
- 21:39Speaker 3: appreciate that great, thank you for your candor. Mikey. Yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 3: she's not for you. I'm glad that didn't work out.
- 21:49Speaker 3: It's good news. Okay, it's good news.
- 21:51Speaker 9: Yeah, I get so. Man Hey, thank you.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Anyway, Ye work in progress. We all we all are
- 21:59Speaker 2: working talking.
- 22:00Speaker 3: It's that's s.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Staying out.
- 22:06Speaker 12: You stop to sad on air with Ryan Seacrest, Oh
- 22:13Speaker 12: one as two point seven Kiss FM.
- 22:16Speaker 3: All right, I have a little box, a little thing.
- 22:20Speaker 3: It's like a little bird house. It's a phone house
- 22:23Speaker 3: where you can come over to my house and you
- 22:26Speaker 3: can put your phone in a little birdhouse and close
- 22:28Speaker 3: the door and you don't feel the drain of your phone.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I use it for myself and I ask others to
- 22:33Speaker 3: do it if they're hanging out sometimes in certain places,
- 22:36Speaker 3: for certain occasions. Now, are we finally going to see
- 22:40Speaker 3: a change with how kids use social media? Straight up?
- 22:45Speaker 3: No access, sistiny, What are the details on this?
- 22:48Speaker 5: So California is pushing forward a bill that wood block
- 22:51Speaker 5: kids under the age of sixteen from using social media
- 22:54Speaker 5: at all, Like you were saying, they would have complete
- 22:56Speaker 5: zero access. The whole idea is to protect kids from
- 22:59Speaker 5: mental health effect and the harmful content online, which we.
- 23:02Speaker 4: All know exists. But you know, people are divided.
- 23:04Speaker 5: There's a lot of pushback about privacy, whether it's the
- 23:07Speaker 5: government overstepping versus something that parents should just be able
- 23:11Speaker 5: to decide on their own what control they want to
- 23:14Speaker 5: give their kids or not give them. But it's still
- 23:17Speaker 5: moving through the process. If it actually does pass, it
- 23:21Speaker 5: could seriously change the way kids use apps like TikTok
- 23:24Speaker 5: and Instagram and all of that.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Great. I'd like for it to be for some adults
- 23:28Speaker 2: as well.
- 23:29Speaker 3: I feel like, wouldn't it be great ban it if
- 23:32Speaker 3: one no, one day a month it was national don't
- 23:36Speaker 3: use that stuff day or just like every Tuesday. I mean,
- 23:39Speaker 3: I know it's business and work whatever, but I don't
- 23:41Speaker 3: know something something, but I am all for it.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Coming up, we're gonna pay Bill on the nine to
- 23:47Speaker 2: five one kisses on It's May fifth, see go to
- 23:50Speaker 2: My Own Baby, Kiss one on.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Two point seven, it's kiss FM. See Chris Sisney tiny
- 23:55Speaker 3: in the back room. Everybody is here. I'm gonna bring
- 23:58Speaker 3: in Crystal zaio so Peaker. Last week we were talking
- 24:01Speaker 3: about this story. She's a hairstyle simpico and if you're
- 24:04Speaker 3: getting your hair done, it can be expensive. And she's like, look,
- 24:08Speaker 3: if you don't have the cash on you right now,
- 24:10Speaker 3: I'll take your something else in trade. So she's open
- 24:14Speaker 3: to trading out cooking meal drops, or cleaning or nails
- 24:19Speaker 3: or washing her car.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 24:21Speaker 3: She's down to trade for services. Crystal, thanks for coming
- 24:26Speaker 3: on with us.
- 24:27Speaker 2: How are you.
- 24:28Speaker 7: Hi'm doing well.
- 24:29Speaker 6: Thank you so much for having me.
- 24:31Speaker 3: But of course, so we were, yeah, kind of into
- 24:33Speaker 3: this trade idea. When it comes to you do the hair,
- 24:37Speaker 3: then somebody gives you something their food or cleaning or
- 24:40Speaker 3: something like that. A trade, a fair trade? Is it working?
- 24:45Speaker 3: And what have people given you after you've done their hair?
- 24:47Speaker 3: And Louve cash?
- 24:49Speaker 9: Oh yeah.
- 24:50Speaker 6: So since I've posted, I've gone over almost two million
- 24:53Speaker 6: abews on it and one hundreds and hundreds of dms
- 24:56Speaker 6: of people in the community just messaging me with such
- 24:59Speaker 6: a great feedback about like getting their hair done without
- 25:03Speaker 6: actually having to pay for it. And ever and since
- 25:06Speaker 6: I've been able to trade with people who have a business,
- 25:11Speaker 6: small businesses, and also people who are just single moms
- 25:14Speaker 6: in the community that want to get their hair done,
- 25:16Speaker 6: but don't have the funds for at the moment with
- 25:19Speaker 6: this economy, So I've been able to trade with people
- 25:21Speaker 6: who have you know, cleaned us alon and then like
- 25:24Speaker 6: baking goods for us and super excited to meet more
- 25:28Speaker 6: people and give more opportunities to others without having to
- 25:30Speaker 6: pay for services.
- 25:32Speaker 3: And so what if somebody says, hey, I don't cash,
- 25:34Speaker 3: can you do my hair? And they offer you a
- 25:37Speaker 3: trade you don't want in.
- 25:40Speaker 6: That case, like, I am very transparent. I am doing
- 25:43Speaker 6: five trades a month to be able to give to
- 25:47Speaker 6: others opportunities and you know trade, so five a month,
- 25:51Speaker 6: but yeah, there has been others like, uh, you know
- 25:54Speaker 6: things that I'm really not going to use. So then
- 25:57Speaker 6: I've had to tell them like maybe in the future,
- 26:00Speaker 6: but yeah, I've not been able to trade with everyone
- 26:02Speaker 6: for everything.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Question like do you not have to tax on trade?
- 26:06Speaker 3: Is there tax to trade?
- 26:10Speaker 6: No? So they just basically messaged me. They just messaged
- 26:14Speaker 6: me and say like, hey, you know I you know
- 26:17Speaker 6: I big cookies. Can I go in for like my
- 26:19Speaker 6: color service? And I'm like, yeah, for sure, if I
- 26:21Speaker 6: need that service, then we just go ahead and swap
- 26:24Speaker 6: it out and leave the money aside.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Well, look, I don't know what your situation is, but
- 26:30Speaker 3: if I do need to get my cut and color
- 26:32Speaker 3: in the near future, I am ordained I host weddings.
- 26:39Speaker 3: I can also announce things fine at an event if
- 26:43Speaker 3: you need, I can, you know.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Rally up.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Of course I'm actually getting married, so you're perfect. I
- 26:49Speaker 6: got you what I need.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, I just got ordained for Tanya here, so
- 26:54Speaker 3: I got my license and my card and certificates.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It really is. Of course I took.
- 27:00Speaker 4: You get like a badge and everything.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, seriously, So anyway, I'll make sure that we've got
- 27:04Speaker 3: your number.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Congratulations and thank you so much. Thank you.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Crystal Zorios She's at Zario's Hair salon on Instagram.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you.
- 27:15Speaker 6: So much for having me.
- 27:16Speaker 4: I love your show.
- 27:16Speaker 9: Thank you very much.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Guys, I love your hair. Thank you. Thank you.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Uh, Tanya, don't give me that look of possessiveness when
- 27:26Speaker 3: I offer my ordained service.
- 27:27Speaker 8: Hey to be like Kim Kardashian here, but like I
- 27:30Speaker 8: feel like you're trying to take pieces of my wedding
- 27:32Speaker 8: and give them to other people, and like that's just
- 27:34Speaker 8: not gonna fly.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I donated my time, my talents and my
- 27:39Speaker 3: services to go to another country after having to take
- 27:42Speaker 3: a course and stay there for a whole weekend to
- 27:46Speaker 3: do it. So I'm going to use my course certificate
- 27:50Speaker 3: when with whom I want. Thank you very much, Jane
- 27:55Speaker 3: one two point seven Kiss FM. Are you ready to

- 29:47Speaker 2: It's a great game. We should play more games like that.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Yeah, right, I mean I think we have pretty good
- 29:53Speaker 3: slew of winners.
- 29:54Speaker 1: If we did, Yeah, people would love it.
- 29:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh is it Tom or Tom or Tom? Yeah? Exactly.
- 30:03Speaker 2: See it's different than the.
- 30:04Speaker 14: Firest Let me two point seven kiss FM Siciny she
- 30:12Speaker 14: met the one, Tanya, she met the one, Ruby met
- 30:17Speaker 14: the one.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Now we're just left with Mickayla to meet the one.
- 30:24Speaker 3: And yeah, yeah maybe. And so the thing is, McKayla,
- 30:33Speaker 3: you have tried hinge, you have tried uh, what's the
- 30:39Speaker 3: other one? Rya bumble hedge, wedge, whatever has out there
- 30:45Speaker 3: she's tried them all and is out in the wild.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And I've seen these guys, Laurel Tavern. I've met some
- 30:51Speaker 3: of these guys. I mean I met them, but I
- 30:53Speaker 3: see their pick up lines in their photos. One out
- 30:56Speaker 3: of ten maybe gets a second look, but generally.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's rope out there. It is You've come up with
- 31:01Speaker 2: a new strategy to meet the one.
- 31:04Speaker 13: Yes, tell me, I am gonna go to the Drafted
- 31:08Speaker 13: Singles Night at Dodger Stadium.
- 31:11Speaker 5: Cute yep, And that's it.
- 31:16Speaker 13: I got a bunch of friends We're going. It's a
- 31:18Speaker 13: three part evening, pre party, game, after party.
- 31:22Speaker 2: So and everybody's single where in one section?
- 31:26Speaker 4: One section?
- 31:26Speaker 9: Yep?
- 31:26Speaker 13: So everyone around me will be single.
- 31:29Speaker 4: That is so cool, so fun.
- 31:31Speaker 2: What a great idea. How come we have not thought
- 31:32Speaker 2: about this before.
- 31:33Speaker 4: We've definitely talked about this last year. But yeah, it
- 31:36Speaker 4: sounds so fast.
- 31:37Speaker 2: It's like we talked about the marathon every year.
- 31:39Speaker 1: We never right, right, right, right right?
- 31:41Speaker 2: I think this is great, But how about a wonderful story.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Well, you know, it guarantees that they will be a
- 31:48Speaker 5: Dodger fan, which is necessary.
- 31:51Speaker 3: I mean, at the very least, you probably hook up, right,
- 31:53Speaker 3: I mean somebody. I mean maybe right at least you
- 31:56Speaker 3: get someone hang with it's a Dodger fan.
- 31:59Speaker 8: It's such a brilliant because I feel like when you
- 32:01Speaker 8: go out, that's like the number one thing I always hated,
- 32:03Speaker 8: like looking for rings on men, you know what I mean,
- 32:06Speaker 8: like seeing if they're saying you don't know?
- 32:09Speaker 1: So now you know everybody around you was single.
- 32:11Speaker 3: And if you see a ring on a man in
- 32:13Speaker 3: that section, that's a bad.
- 32:15Speaker 8: Guy going with a friend or something.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Well, this is it. It's gonna change everything. So what
- 32:22Speaker 2: will we do?
- 32:23Speaker 3: I really look forward to your hinge pickup line, so
- 32:25Speaker 3: I have to find a new segment.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I love those so much. I love them. All right, Well, good.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Luck, thank you, Please report back. I will take some
- 32:36Speaker 3: photos too.
- 32:37Speaker 4: You got it? Take focus.
- 32:39Speaker 2: This is a great strategy.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to see all the guys that she
- 32:41Speaker 3: thinks she's you know, connecting with their.
- 32:46Speaker 13: One second, I need to take a picture for Ryan.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Obviously, what do you think those two did
- 32:51Speaker 3: before they met their men? Hang on, guys, I got
- 32:53Speaker 3: to actually call Ryan. Didn't have phones back then. With cameras,
- 32:58Speaker 3: they do a live call in to me Ryan. Here,
- 33:00Speaker 3: meet Robbie any questions. Yeah, I got a few.
- 33:04Speaker 2: What color you like? What's your favorite color?
- 33:06Speaker 9: Bill?
- 33:06Speaker 3: It is kiss up having Los Angeles, Zara Larson, tickets
- 33:09Speaker 3: counting up. Also non stop kiss music, so assistanty. The
- 33:13Speaker 3: question here that Tanya poses is do you know your worth?
- 33:18Speaker 3: And more importantly, she says, do you know how to
- 33:20Speaker 3: ask for?
- 33:21Speaker 2: What's your worth? And why do you bring it up?
- 33:23Speaker 8: Because Meryl Streep is doing press for the Devil Wars
- 33:26Speaker 8: product too. It's the number one movie in America seventy
- 33:29Speaker 8: seven million opening weekend. But back in two thousand and six,
- 33:34Speaker 8: when producers first offered her the role of Miranda Priestley,
- 33:37Speaker 8: Meryl said no, She told Jenna Bush on Today this week,
- 33:43Speaker 8: she said, I said no, I'm not going to do it.
- 33:45Speaker 8: She turned it down to see if they would double
- 33:47Speaker 8: her salary, and guess what.
- 33:51Speaker 2: They did.
- 33:52Speaker 1: They did right away.
- 33:54Speaker 10: They called me up and they made an offer and
- 33:57Speaker 10: I said no, and I wanted to see if I
- 33:59Speaker 10: doubled my ask and they.
- 34:01Speaker 7: Went right away and said sure.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And I thought, I'm fifty six year It took me
- 34:05Speaker 1: this long to understand that I could do that.
- 34:11Speaker 8: So reports say that her original offer was around two
- 34:14Speaker 8: point five million dollars. She walked away with five but
- 34:18Speaker 8: basically she said they needed me.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I was she was ready to retire.
- 34:21Speaker 8: But the moral of the story is that she was
- 34:22Speaker 8: fifty six years old and she's just kind of like,
- 34:25Speaker 8: it took me this long in my life to.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Really stalize the worth and stand up worth.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like if you're a Meryl Streep, it
- 34:35Speaker 3: goes better than some of us.
- 34:38Speaker 8: Yes, But I also think too, there's something about I
- 34:41Speaker 8: think gender plays a big role. I think women in
- 34:43Speaker 8: general have a harder time. It's like just going up
- 34:47Speaker 8: asking for what they want in many you know, in
- 34:50Speaker 8: dating and in their professional lives. I think it is
- 34:53Speaker 8: like a gender thing. And so I think this. I've
- 34:56Speaker 8: been seeing this Meryl Streep clip make the rounds because
- 34:58Speaker 8: I think it really does empower women to just kind
- 35:00Speaker 8: of take a little bit.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Of that, you know, that male energy, and just.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Ask for what you want, ask for the order, ask
- 35:06Speaker 3: for your worth. And I want to see that movie
- 35:09Speaker 3: so badly. You have no idea too. My boys, for
- 35:13Speaker 3: my buddies and I we're gonna go see it.
- 35:15Speaker 8: My good friends went opening night and said is amazing.
