Austin ISD Bus Changes Starting August
Austin ISD is slashing bus routes and shifting to smarter, cheaper transportation starting August, after $200M in budget cuts. Campbell Elementary and Eastside Early College High are ditching district buses entirely—routes were inefficient and costly. Middle and high schoolers now get picked up at central “hub stops” to cut travel time and cost.
