Tragic Rescue Turned Fatal on I-75
A horrific chain of events unfolded on I-75 North in Auglaize County, Ohio, early Sunday morning: a Ford Explorer, carrying three passengers including a 11-year-old, became disabled after hitting the median. Despite both the driver and child being buckled in, they died at the scene. A passenger attempted to push the vehicle off the road when a northbound Freightliner struck from behind, sending the Explorer into the man — who suffered minor injuries.
