Latest / BDGE Fantasy Football / The Rookies You Should Be Drafting in 2026
Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning, friends and enemies.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_00]: In today's video, we're going to be talking about rookies and only rookies, right?
- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: The ones that I think are going to contribute immediately to your lineups and then a subsection of guys that I think you should be taking swings on a little bit later in your draft that have legitimate upside this year in fantasy football and some dudes much later in the draft.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: that I too think you should be pressing the draft button on, knowing that you might drop them early on.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: However, there will be a ton of guys on this list that I think you'll look like a genius for drafting amongst your league mates.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: So we will get right into things, right?
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: And without a doubt, the two most exciting rookies that were supposed to be exciting just very recently got her.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: These were my RB1, my wide receiver one in the class as it relates to this year's fantasy football.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll start.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: about the very top and that is Jeremiah love and Jordan Tyson.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah love was the number three overall picked to the hours on the cardinals, the running back explosive got the size, got the speed, got the pass catching chops.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: He had it all until they gave him all the workload in their first preseason game.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: I guess second preseason game.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: And he has now come down with a high ankle sprain, which reports are kind of
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: here and there.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't got a ton of information outside of it being a high ankle sprain.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: So they're optimistic.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: He could be ready for week one, but we have seen high ankle sprains derail seasons for running backs specifically.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: So this has to knock him down the rankings quite a bit.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: He was going into a situation that would have likely been some sort of a time share with Tyler Algier, who they newly signed.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: They brought back James Connor.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: They've got trade bets, and I don't really expect the latter to make a huge dent.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think Tyler Algier probably would have gotten a handful of carries each week on the early downs, maybe mixing on some goal-line work as well.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: But Jeremiah Love was drafted to be a bell cow eventually.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: He was drafted because of his athleticism, his ability to play all three downs and catch passes.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: But again, kind of getting to the point that matters for you guys.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: The high ankle sprain is a very, very legitimate concern.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know if he'll be ready for week one.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: And if he is ready for week one, we don't know how much he'll be slowed down by this ankle sprain.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: week one, week two, week four, this also puts him at a very, very high re-injury risk relative to other players that are going into the year healthy.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a big knock on him.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: He was a guy that I was comfortable taking at the two three turn.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now I've moved him down my rankings pretty significantly.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: He is comfortably at the three four turn and closer to, you know, the beginning to middle parts of the fourth round.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: And it's unfortunate because, you know, you rarely see rookie running backs with this type of draft capital that don't perform up to the standard of a top 12 fantasy running back right away.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: They're just forced into a workload that's really hard to take away any sort of floor from them.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: So I feel like he likely would have got that.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't know how much the Cardinals are necessarily going to be playing for this year in terms of
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: putting a dude like Jeremiah love at risk with the high ankle sprain right now.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the biggest news of the Arizona Cardinals.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: I will say the one kind of glimmer of hope here is that if we can get him healthy for the second half of the year and he's good to go their plav schedule while the regular scene schedule extremely difficult plav schedule, jets, saints, raiders, weeks 15, 16, 17, doesn't get much better than that for a fantasy running back.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: So when it comes to Jeremiah love again, just think you got to knock him down a little bit because of the high ankle spraying the same thing can be said to the end of the degree when it comes to Jordan Tyson.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: I was very excited to start drafting up a bunch of Jordan Tyson in the sixth round here, but he has since tweaked his hamstring at practice.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the fourth time that he's dealt with a hamstring strain now since October of 2025.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: That is less than a year ago.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: You can look at the tweets from Jeff up on the screen right now, but ultimately this does not sound like a great situation right now.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: We're not getting any firm word of what's happening.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: He's going for second and third opinions, which typically means that there is some level of grade two and some level of concern and some level of like this could be a six to eight week injury, there could be a possibility of him landing on the populist.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: So this was one of the biggest red flags on a guy like Jordan Tyson.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: He was the eighth overall pick to the Northern Saints.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: You pair him with Chris Alave, there in this uptempo, fast-paced offense, what Kellen Moore.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: And it looks like there's going to be fireworks there.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Tyson's dynamite on the football field, but the injuries started to become a real concern.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody that was fading him because of the injury concern and that up hitting big on the ROI there, if they had been staying away from him up to this point in draft season.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_00]: So basically with Jordan Tyson, he's borderline to stay away at this point.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: He was going around the six round.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's where like a Cornell Tate was going.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's where these other rookies were going.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: And now I think you have to push him down.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: So round nine, ten, like you can't use real draft capital on a dude who's likely going to miss some of the beginning of the year.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: If not, linger that into midway through the year.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want us to go out of our way.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: the draft dudes that are already dealing with serious injuries and already have a history of he's just getting back to training camp from recovering from a hamstring injury.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: And now he has another one.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: This is a disaster for Jordan Tyson.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now we can move past the injuries.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: These are guys that if you're drafting them, you're doing so with the draft capital that you need them to contribute to your lineup basically immediately.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: The very first guy is Cornell Tate.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_00]: He was the number four overall pick to the Tennessee Titans wide receiver out of Ohio State.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: He goes to a situation where last year, Nightmare, right?
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Tennessee Titans passing game was one of if not the worst in the NFL, despite having came more than number one overall pick.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of changes this off season, however, right?
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: They bring in Ryan Dable, so they will have a new system, new play caller,
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: year two of Cam Ward getting more comfortable at the NFL level with the NFL speed.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: They bring in Cardinal Tate to be the alpha there.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: They have Wandell Robinson.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have Calvin Ridley who at this point could be a usable number three in an NFL offense.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: So on paper things feel relatively good for the Tennessee Titans.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're on the up swing.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line is definitely still an issue.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: When I think about Cardinal Tate, like you have Bryant Abel there,
- 5:58[SPEAKER_00]: who was the head coach in New York where Malik neighbors as a rookie just got 8,000 targets over there.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: And it's hard to imagine that the floor is gonna be super low for a guy who was the number four overall pick in the draft.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think overall, like the Titans do present, a bunch of systemic risk if you are drafting into this offense actively, into the passing offense here with early round draft capital.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: With Cam Ward, like I said, struggled mightily as a rookie, and it's definitely no short thing.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a lot that he's gonna be a great quarterback in year two, take some huge leaping year two.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: We see a lot of quarterbacks go from like really shooting year one to like, okay, we're seeing progression in year two, year three is kind of like the blast off period.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: Could very much be the case for Cam Ward.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: Could also be the case that he may just not be a good NFL quarterback at all.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't bet on that, but yeah, I think you just need to weigh the range of outcomes when you're drafting players attached to these types of offenses.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: When you think of other receivers that you're almost comping to Cornell T. In terms of the draft capital, one's that had explosive rookie seasons, one's that really like changed the way that the fantasy season went.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking about the Jamar Chases of recent year.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking about Justin Jefferson, I'm on Rossing Brown over the second half of his rookie year, thinking about like even juju smith's juicer.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: But when I think about those dudes, there are attached to guys that were throwing for
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: 43, 44, 40, 500 yards, 30 to 35 passing touchdowns, right?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: You have your march ace with Joe Borough.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: You have Amarah with Jerrigoff.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: You have Justin Jefferson with Kirk Cousin.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: Jeff Juju with Big Ben.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: These are all like very well-established NFL quarterbacks, with very high statistical ceilings.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: When I look at the makeup of the receiver room for the Titans, I think I would put pretty real money that Wandell Robinson ends up leading the team in targets.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: This is not mean they're going to be the most valuable targets, but I do think he ends up leading the team overall in targets because Brian Deble comes from New York.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: One of the very first things he does is go out and sign Wandell Robinson to a significant money deal for a guy who's pretty much a slot guy.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think Calvin Ridley's really going away here.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: And ironically, I think a good Comfort Carnal Tate is like prime Calvin Ridley, who was a phenomenal route runner with dice up db's, but doesn't add a ton after the catch.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: Not super dynamic with the ball on his hands, but Carnal Tate is a great separator, great route runner.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: Can absolutely beat you downfield.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: It was not a high volume guide Ohio State, but I don't really want to hold that against him because of the level of target competition that you get when you're playing at Ohio State with the Jeremiah Smiths of the World, the Marvin Harrison Jrs of the world.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: you're sharing targets with the best players in the world.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: So, it would not surprise me if Tate did have a big second half of the year, but to be honest, the price right now where you have to grab him around like the 5-6 turn, it's probably too steep for me.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I could totally acknowledge the upside, and my hesitation is purely situational tied to Tennessee, while still preferring to grab guys in that draft capital range of like,
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: the jade and dangles of the world, or other wide receivers who I think have upside attached to offenses that I find much more appealing like Parker Washington with Jacksonville or even like DJ Moore and Buffalo.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: So Cornell Tate really good player like the future future outlook of them, I'm pretty hesitant to draft him as a rookie because of the Tennessee Titans, kind of systemic risk here.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Moving on to another first round pick.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: The second first round running back this year.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: That is generic price over there in Seattle.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Generating prices kind of a tough one right now.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: He was the one that early on in the offseason.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: I expected to have almost no shares of him because I was like, okay, he's a first round running back.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: People are going to take him in like the fourth round, the fifth round.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: But he's dropped pretty significantly to the point where I think you can usually get him around the sixth seven turn if it's not a super running back heavy draft that you're in.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like if it's three water severs, if it's full PPR,
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: the area price ends up dropping pretty significantly in those drafts and I think I could be talked into that price.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: With your dairy price, what makes it so difficult is he played with Jeremiah Love in Notre Dame.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: So crazy set of circumstances here when you have two running backs from the same college getting drafted in the first round.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: So for your dairy price, like, not a great prospect profile, not a ton of production, a bit undersized, like 203, 205 pounds,
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: probably won't be the main pass catcher here in Seattle out of the back field at least for now.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think he's a good runner and I do think he's explosive.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's looked at as the clear starter right now.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: He's missed a couple days of camp, but I expected him to be back relatively soon.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: He missed preseason week one for them.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not an injury that I'm overly concerned about.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think him in George Alani will likely split the back field for now.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: We're George Alani is more of like the two-minute drill guy, the obvious passing situation guy.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: But kind of the elephant in the room is Zack Sharberney.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: Zack Sharberney tears his ACL, late in the season in the playoffs.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: And the reports of him returning, I think have been like a little bit more optimistic lately.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: But I think if you kind of read between the lines, while some people are like, it's not out of the question that he returns for week one or week two, I think if I had to put my money one way or another, I would say likely lands on the pop.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think a realistic timeframe for him returning would be early mid late October.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: We'll just say October, because I just covered every part of October.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: October.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's like a realistic timeline for Zack Sharpenator return.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: And Zack Sharpenaver turns like he's going to be a part of that rotation.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's likely going to be the goal line back there.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And I do think that could open things up like I don't think it's going to be a three-headed monster there for the running backs there and see how what I think happens is early on it's price in Alani when Sharpenaver turns it's going to be sharp and jitterian price.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: But regardless, it does feel like one way or another.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get some sort of a time share here with price and charm.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Price and holly doesn't really matter one way or another.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think again, they view him as a starter.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: You use first round draft capital on a guy.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big deal because Kenneth Walker ends up leaving through for agency.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: They never wanted to give him kind of the keys to the backfield.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was a little bit less that they like,
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: they didn't think he was talented enough to do it.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: And more so, we're concerned that if we give him a huge workload back here, like the injuries he was kind of dealing with early on in the summer last year, they wanted to kind of keep him on the straight and narrow, so that they can use him for the entire year and ended up being the right decision, considering him and Sharber both playing most of the year, and they won the fucking Super Bowl.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: So credit where it's due.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: With price, I think there's a real chance it's going to be a bumpy season long rollercoaster ride with judarian price.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a high risk, high reward player ultimately.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: Five, six turn is a bit too much for me.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: Six, seven turn is probably where I'm starting to think.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I'd be open taking a shot here.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there's a real chance he ends up dropping there and like more casual leagues where people who are not locked into the draft.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: This is
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: Ultimately, a less exciting draft class and we've seen quite a quite a long time.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: So there's been a lot less hype on these guys in general in price, not being like a really high profile college running back.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: If your friends aren't paying attention throughout all of like draft season into the summer, then general prices definitely do to in your drafts that could end up dropping and you could get them.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the end of the six round, maybe mid seventh round or something like that, and that becomes a lot more palatable, but he's not a dude that I'm going to be jumping up to draft similar to what I say with Cornell T. So we had my two favorite guys that I would have been almost actively targeting at their price in Jeremiah, Love and Jordan Tyson who are now hurt and need to be bumped down the rankings.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now, you have two guys who, if you are drafting them at their current price 5-6 turn, 6-roundish, Cardinal Tate, and Judarian Price, you will have to make that decision to go up and get them, and they will likely have to contribute to your line-ups in fantasy immediately, which I think is quite risky given there are other really good players being drafted around their price.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if we move a little bit further down the ADP board, these are guys that you don't have to draft immediately.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to expect immediate production from them, but love the upside shot on them, right?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll start with another injured guy.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: That is McCye Lemon.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: He is the first rap pick, the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_00]: He is profiling more as a slot wide receiver right now, although at his final year in U.S.C.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: he was moved around a lot of a half production from all over the field.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not really worried about him being able to play other positions here.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: The concerns here, of course, are that Philadelphia's passing offense is going to be low volume.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: But what's more concerning is he's dealing with this hamstring strain as well in camp right now he's missed a ton of times at voluntary workouts and voluntary practices and now he's missing a ton of time in training camp as well.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: So he's not on the field, and that's really important, especially for rookies in a brand new offense, right?
- 13:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have a new scheme there, which y'all manion and everybody on offense is learning it right now.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: So you have some of the really well-respected beat reporters out in Philadelphia saying that it wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if McIillamon did not start the year as a starter, which is like concerning if you're a top 20 pick right and you're a first round receiver kind of drafted to replace AJ Brown in a sense or just replace that weapons group in general.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: So he's probably gonna start very slow out of the gate.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, he's like a 10th round pick right now.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I think this is one of those picks that you just say, hey, I think the Philadelphia offense is gonna have a bounce back with getting Kevin Patulo out of the way, getting some of the toxicity out of the locker room, having jail and hurts a little bit more under center, play action heavy.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I do think they turn things around and look a lot better this year.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: You got a first round player, really good draft capital, really talented player, high level production, like you just kind of bet on that type of profile.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_00]: this late in a draft.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's going around, you know, like the Matthew Goldens of the world and the guys that you're like, yeah, you know what?
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: There's definitely something like upside kind of sitting in the tank.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: And if we spark it, maybe we can get lucky and have a, have a firework show here.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, if you're mixing and matching those young high upside receivers at this point in the draft, I think my Kylaman is absolutely worth throwing a draft pick at.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, and this is one of the more hyped players of the summer, Dejan Stribbling, for the San Francisco 49ers, very, very early second round draft capital, was not looked very highly at by the the Dynasty Fantasy community as a whole, and then you get that sort of draft capital and you've got no choice, but to open your eyes and start looking at the player.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it's hard not to be excited about him after everything we've heard, throughout the preseason, after what's happened to the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: the first preseason game they played and tripling look fucking awesome.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: He is six to almost 210 pounds, ran a 436 40R dash at the combine.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: When you watch him, if you go back, if you got like NFL game replay pass or whatever, that fucking thing is that you can go watch replays on, which I do for the preseason games, if you go back and watch tripling and you just don't look at the last name on the jersey, he looks like Joanne Jennings reincarnated, but far more explosive.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's a really tough dude out there like he loves getting grimy and gritty awesome run blocker.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's one of the reasons why they wanted to go out and draft him very strong hands.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: Very good with the ball in his hands.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's like he's very tough to bring down.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: And because he has that level of explosiveness, the 436, which I think is a little bit more like I need a step to kind of get going.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's not necessarily like a tyree kill level of explosiveness.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's fine.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think given the fact that he landed in a Kyle Shanahan offense, who knows how to use it player like him, kind of two perfection, that's what gets me really excited, because they're not going to ask him to be running a ton of downfield routes, like that's going to be Mike Evans's role.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be the X.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be the guy running the really valuable downfield routes, while struggling will be put in motion a lot.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be used over the middle again, very similar to where Joanne Jennings was, and you have no more Joanne Jennings.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: You got Ricky P. obviously out for the season at this point, it's all new receivers basically.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: You have debo coming back.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: They just resigned and it's like a one year.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was four million dollar deal or something like that.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I do think debo will have a lot of routes there.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: I think he will play a lot of the snaps there because they're so comfortable with him early on.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I could see dribbling starting out is like a 50% snap guy.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: And by week six, he's running 70 to 75% of the routes.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a dude that like,
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: you might be able to put into your lineup as a flex play almost weekly.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it is the talent with the fit match with a great offense here Brock party and Kyle Shanahan, of course, and then you just had the lack of depth that pass catching weapons here.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: You've got Mike Evans who is dealing with a quad strain for the last like two weeks.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: He just did return to practice.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: You got George Kittle coming back from the Achilles.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, Ricky P is out for the year.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: Got no joy on Jennings.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: You got fucking no brand in IU.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: You got Debo who's
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: old and very likely passes prime.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: You got Christian McCaffrey who's like hurt.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: It's like holding in.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think right now, but you got like nothing there of consistency and shribbling has been nothing short of consistent this entire summer.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: So shribbling's a dude you should absolutely be taking a shot on in your drafts this year.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: And then
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: And two more rookies that are hard not to get excited about, until you see what team they're on.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that's Casey Concepts Yon and Denzel Boston out there in Cleveland, the first and second round picks are one of the first and then the second round pick for the Browns this off season.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: They've got Todd Monkin coming in as their new head coach.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: So you have a completely new offensive system, which I'm excited about, but it's literally impossible to get excited about Nishon Watson or Shidorah Sanders under center there.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Concepts Yon is this like,
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Smaller-ish explosive gonna play the slot type receiver here that they're gonna be able to use all over the formation in their first preseason game They were giving him end-or-ounds.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: He was really explosive.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: He is a great separator really strong route runner So I love the long-term appeal of a garlic conception And I think that there will absolutely be times throughout the year that he's getting peppered with targets because he's running very like quarterback-friendly routes He is overlapping with Harold fan in a bit where as Denzel Boston is going to be playing the purex receiver
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: Jared Judy, like Calvin originally in Tennessee, Jared Judy's kind of still like hanging around is at annoying veteran receiver right now.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably be playing 50, 60% of the routes, but everything out of Cleveland is like these two receivers are super legit.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to play major roles in this offense.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_00]: The question is like, what does that even mean?
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you're the X receiver, if you're Denzel Boston playing the X for to Sean Watson in the big 2026, come on.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Like you can't really project this passing offense to throw for more than, you know, like 3,000 yards and 18 passing touchdowns, if that.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a chance that Denzel Boston is playing on like 90 to 95% of the snaps.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: I genuinely think he's going to be like the wider receiver one there as the X on the outside running those tougher routes.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'sepsion will get the ball in a bunch of different ways on that offense.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the touchdown ceiling is just so, so low for all these past catchers, unfortunately.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I like concepts you have a lot more in full PPR leaks, very interesting Darthro here and ultimately the browns are just set up to just they're just going to be the most lit when they get a quarterback like there's not going to be a single dude that I'm not excited about in this offense next year so moving on from those guys and also at any point if you just want to grab our rankings for whatever league type you have if you want to get.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_00]: full right up on all of these players.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_00]: You want their Vegas prop lines.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: There's strength of schedules with their actual schedules kind of right in front of you while you're drafting.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Offensive line rank.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: All that kind of good stuff is in our fantasy membership right now on bdge.co.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: I update that in real time.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: You will have injury reports up there of when things happen.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: I pretty much try to get them like when I see a Twitter notification, I'm like, all right, I got to update this within like five minutes.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: So it's always up to date.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: We have the draft assistant, which you can now sync your league if you're on ESPN Yahoo or sleeper and attach our rankings to it, so it makes the decision super easy for you while you are on the clock.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Again, BGE.co, fantasy membership is there, the very cheapest way to get it though, just $10 you'll get three months free of our membership is if you're a new user, go over to our partners bedmgm.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: Either they're Apple the website deposit $10.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: $10 or more use code BDGE.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: Again, if you're a new user deposit $10 or more code BDGE as soon as you play your first slip, they're going to hit you with a promo code in their in-at messaging system that you can go use on our website three months free to the fantasy membership, which will ride you pretty deep into the actual like fantasy regular season, which will have a bunch of tools for in-season stuff as well.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_00]: So everything is now packaged into the fantasy membership on BDGE.co.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Now that we are moving past those high upside 10th to 11th 12th round picks, we'll go a little bit deeper to do that.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think our fun upside shots to take, knowing that you may very well drop them quickly.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, and we'll start with the Miami Dolphins Wider Severs.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Dolphins receiver room is horrendously bare.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: There is no food in the cupboard, and so they decided to try to restock via the draft this year.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: They used both of their third round picks on some big boys at the receiver positions.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: You have Caleb Douglas out of Texas Tech, 11th pick in the third round, six, four.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: 206 pounds, ready, four, three, nine, 40 are dash.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: You then have Chris Bell, six, two, two, twenty, two,
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: out of Louisville.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: He is recovering from an ACL tear that happened late in his career at Louisville.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: So he has just been taken off the NFI list, which means he can resume practicing if he's ready to do so.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: This was a dude Chris Bell that was looked widely at as close to a first round town.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a lot of people that you guys probably listened to that thought he was a first round talent, maybe ends up being a second round pick, whatever, but very, very highly touted prospect in terms of where people expected him to get draft pre-injury.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: There's been a lot of hype about Caleb Douglas.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's been showing out the summer apparently.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: And then in their first preseason game, when they were running with the starters, it was him and Malik Washington as the two receivers in two wide receiver sets.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: So it looks like he is locked into a receiver role or starting receiver role in Miami.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not an exciting offense by any means, but because there's so much uncertainty because there's nobody else on the dev chart, it is literally like Malik Washington a bunch of dudes that you have never seen have more than like 30 catches in a season, there's so much opportunity for somebody to catch the ball.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: Will it happen this year?
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, but like Malik Will has to throw the ball to somebody.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_00]: And if these guys are good, they're going to be vacuuming up targets immediately because they're going to be the only good players on the field.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, you got your Kobe lane, the wide receiver in Baltimore, right?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: The buzz out of.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: Can't for Jacobi Lane has fucking B's jealous, right?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's a third round pick out of USC, six foot four, 200 pounds.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the more respected Baltimore beat reporters dropped this on Twitter and it like set Twitter ablaze.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: He said in 27 years of covering the Ravens, I'm not sure I've seen a rookie have a training camp quite like wide receiver Jacobi Lane.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: Every day, Lane produces a highlight making catch in today
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, we are looking at a player on likely the run heaviest team in the NFL.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_00]: I know everyone's like Declan Doyle, Declan, you still have Lamar Jackson Derek Henry.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, Declan Doyle could come in and implement a brand new offense and they're still going to lean insanely run heavy.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_00]: It was a year ago that the entire talk about Lamar Jackson was the fact that he could not support a top 20-wide receiver in fantasy football, and now all of a sudden we're expecting him to support two, if not more, because Jacobi Lane's the three right now at best.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's the three in a run-heavy offense.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: If he's as good as people think he is, he'll pass up Rashad Bateman, but that still leaves him as the number two.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: And that it's not enough for me to get excited, unfortunately.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm I'm fine with Zafelowers.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think Zafelowers is a fine, you know, third-ish round pick.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're a huge fan of Jakobi Lane, you like them coming out of USC.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't really have a problem with that.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: I never really have a problem with you attaching yourself to a high-powered, a high scoring good offense.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it's a, it's a hard story for me to tell myself that, you know, the second or third pass catcher in a run first offense is going to be super impactful in fancy football.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: The rest of these guys are definitely deeperish pulls that I don't know have much staying power on fantasy teams.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: I would be Jonah Coleman, Denver running back this year.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_00]: They took in the fourth round.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: He is pretty much the handcuff to JK Dobbins.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: He is like a bowling ball.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's five eight,
- 25:06[SPEAKER_00]: I just think they know that J.K. Dobbins is obviously injury prone.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: They did resign him to a decent contract.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I do think J.K. Dobbins is without a doubt the starter there.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: But he's been hurt like every single year.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_00]: V gets hurt.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jonah Coleman steps into the starting role.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_00]: RJ Harvey is still there.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: We'll still play a pass catching role.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think they want to end up in the same position that they were last year.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: If Dobbins were to go down.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: having to use RJ Harvey on early downs, which is not a place that he is good at.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: So, Jonah Coleman could be interesting.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's not gonna outright take JK Dobbins as job though.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with Nicholas Singleton out there in Tennessee.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: Penn State running back was, looked at as a prolific college running back earlier on in his career as dealt with some injuries, suffered a Jones fracture at the senior bowl, which kind of like tanked his draft stock this year.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: Not that he was supposed to be like a second round pick or anything like that.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think it's just to give very uninspiring
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: field there in Tennessee.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: Pollards been good.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: Tajaj Spears hasn't really done much in the three years there.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: So there are teams that's probably experimenting with youth at some point in this offseason.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't be surprised if, you know, by week 10 or week 12, he's starting to get more and more calories in this offense.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's a brand new coaching staff that has no allegiance to a 20-polar type.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't hate Nicholas Singleton.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: Zachariah Branch at Lano wide receiver.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're around pick out of Georgia.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: Very small.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: Very fast.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: But Atlanta has zero receivers on the depth chart.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_00]: It is Drake London, Drake London, Drake London, Drake London.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: John Dotson, Olimina Zikius, Zachariah Branch.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: So apparently branch is a good.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he's actually in line to be like the widest heaver to right now.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_00]: But if he is any good, he should have no problem jumping past.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_00]: John Dotson, Olimina Zikius here.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then we've got a couple of chiefs.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Cyrus Allen and Emmett Johnson who people on Twitter love.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: Cyrus Allen, good separator.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: I just find it very, very hard to tell yourself a story of how he really like gets onto the field, because he ain't getting on there over Rashi Rice.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: Xavier Worthy was a first round pick, so I think it's hard to tell yourself he's going to get on to the field over him either.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have Kenneth Walker coming in, who is going to take a ton of carries there.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: So I think they're going to end up looking to be much more run heavy than they had in previous years.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: So Sire Sound, it's like 5 11 180 at a Cincinnati fifth round pick.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's interesting with the amount of love that the Kansas City reporters are showing him.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's making plays daily, good route runner, but again, to do that if you draft very decent chance you're dropping him immediately.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_00]: Same with that, McGions, and I think Emma Johnson could end up being
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: The handcuff to Kenneth Walker, they'll probably have a different third roundback who's just playing like the annoying pass catching roll, and that's just a specialist role, like Martin Marcato or Richard Smith, whoever they decide to have that role, but I think Emma Johnson would probably be the handcuff and the guy that would get a decent amount of carries behind Kenneth Walker or something war to happen to him.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_00]: So that is the the first real like dive into the rookie class.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I've done for you guys.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: I've made videos.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously talking about some of the rookies here and there, but wanted to give you guys my my full thoughts on dudes that I think could really be impactful out of the gate that you may have heard of.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: You may not have heard of regardless.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: You guys have all heard of the thumbs up button so get down there and hit it.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: And if you enjoyed the video, subscribe if you're new here, and if you want our rankings right now, just head over to bdge.co sign up for the fantasy membership.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Cheap is way to get it for three months, just 10 bucks.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: That mgm, where new users use code bdge when you deposit and play any slip on there.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: Love you, I'm outta here.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: Smooches.
