Eisenhower Playground Built by Kids | Flint News
Eisenhower Elementary in Flint just unveiled a brand-new playground, designed with input from students and staff — turning playtime into a space of pride, safety, and joy. Part of Flint Community Schools’ larger upgrade initiative, this fourth playground (with one more coming) was made possible by a $7 million boost from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation. It’s a powerful reminder that great spaces for kids aren’t just fun — they’re foundational to learning, connection, and community strength.
