⚡SILVER Investor!⚡THIS is SHOCKING - (MASSIVE Alert and News Update for Gold and Silver Price) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
I made a shocking discovery last night that I'm going to share
• 0:04
with you later in this video. About the gold.
• 0:07
And silver market in regard? To inflation, interest rates,
• 0:11
something nobody. Else is talking about and.
• 0:14
It will indicate to us that we've got.
• 0:17
You're not going to believe this, but really guys, we've.
• 0:20
Got a? Great, great road ahead of us.
• 0:22
First we're going to talk about some great high level gold price
• 0:28
predictions and then we're going to talk about what's going on at
• 0:30
the COMEX the Open interest. Yeah, the Comex, the electronic
• 0:35
  exchange. That has been.
• 0:37
Beating down the. Price of silver and gold for
• 0:40
decades and decades before we do that.
• 0:43
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being part of the
• 0:45
  basement. This is not.
• 0:46
Possible without you. We don't charge anything for the
• 0:50
content, so please subscribe, give the video a thumbs up and
• 0:53
that'll put a a big smile on upstairs Susie's face.
• 0:57
So before we get to the shocking development that I discovered
• 1:00
within the silver and gold sector, let's look at a.
• 1:04
Great new forecast. For the gold price.
• 1:07
And then I. Need to remember to go check on
• 1:10
the gold and silver. Price, but Steve Hankey said
• 1:13
this. And then we're going to.
• 1:14
Talk about Steve. Hankey and why we want to pay
• 1:17
attention to him, he said. A Reuter Reuters poll shows that
• 1:20
analyst. Have raised their annual gold.
• 1:23
Price forecast to an average of $4900 in 2026.
• 1:28
Not high enough, he said. I stand.
• 1:31
With my prediction. That gold's secular bull run.
• 1:35
Will peak out in the. 6 to $7000 range, he says.
• 1:40
Buy gold, wear diamonds. Doesn't that look?
• 1:45
Good. Is that your basement that we're
• 1:46
looking at there? Look at all.
• 1:48
The people in the world with their shopping carts full of
• 1:51
gold and the the beautiful woman not as beautiful as upstairs
• 1:54
Susie, but laying on the couch with a with.
• 1:58
Diamonds and. And gold all around now.
• 2:02
Who is Steve Hankey? I don't know about you.
• 2:05
OK, Well Steve Hankey number one has almost. 800 and. 50,000
• 2:10
followers on X but he's. Been.
• 2:13
Known to be one of the more conservative and more accurate
• 2:16
predictors of general economic data and the precious metals.
• 2:21
And he's a. Professor at John Hopkins
• 2:23
University. And I saw that and I thought
• 2:26
where the. You know John Hopkins.
• 2:28
Is, I don't know about you, but it's one of those like schools
• 2:31
that I've heard of over the years, but I'm like where?
• 2:33
The heck is? John Hopkins University.
• 2:35
Anyway, so I looked it up. It's in Baltimore.
• 2:38
Maryland, it's highly, it's like a not an Ivy League, but like a
• 2:41
  super. It's like the.
• 2:42
World's most respected research. University, He's a professor
• 2:47
  there, he's got a. Huge following he's.
• 2:49
Very conservative has it's been over the.
• 2:51
Years. I've followed him over the
• 2:53
  years. And he's calling.
• 2:54
For a $7000 gold price. And now we know where John
• 2:58
Hopkins University is. I think it was Baltimore, MD,
• 3:02
but it's a. Big like very.
• 3:04
Prestigious research university OK, let's go on to the comex
• 3:08
because there's. All this, all this noise.
• 3:11
Coming out about. COMEX open interest at all time
• 3:14
  lows. Is the comex.
• 3:15
Failing right is the comex. Will fail eventually.
• 3:20
Just like all Fiat. Currencies fail.
• 3:22
The futures market will fail. But let's dig.
• 3:24
Into some data and then we're going to get to this massive
• 3:27
discovery guys and it's going to be you're you're.
• 3:31
Going to experience. You know when you learn
• 3:33
  something. New and.
• 3:34
  Light bulbs. Come on, I.
• 3:35
Experienced that last night and trust.
• 3:37
Me, we all got a few light bulbs in our head that we can still
• 3:40
light up but. Let's go out and see what's.
• 3:43
Happening. Oh, I promised an update on the
• 3:45
gold and silver price then will go to the the Comex, but here we
• 3:50
  are. Hey, look at.
• 3:51
That silver live. Up $2.36 per oz Gold up 23
• 3:57
  dollars. Wow.
• 3:59
Silver back at $76, wasn't it just like it got the IT got them
• 4:03
what I consider the critical level on.
• 4:07
Tuesday of this. Week it got the 7250 per.
• 4:11
Oz And we talked about that now it.
• 4:13
Actually got below. 7250 as I remember that to me that was
• 4:18
kind of the line in the sand so the fact that we.
• 4:20
Bounced from there. Trust me, I look at all.
• 4:24
The charts I look at. All the fundamental data of a
• 4:27
lot. I spent a lot of time working on
• 4:29
this. 7250 was the line in the sand is the line in the sand and
• 4:35
the fact that we bounced significantly from that is a
• 4:38
very good thing for the silver price.
• 4:41
But remember. Tuesday, it was like a horrible
• 4:43
  day. We'll go.
• 4:44
Figure a horrible day in the silver.
• 4:46
Market not, not a wonderful, wonderful day in the
• 4:49
neighborhood like Mr. Rogers says, but.
• 4:52
Here's the data. From Tuesday, so the day that
• 4:55
the silver price got smashed but the silver market traded almost.
• 4:59
  5. 100 million paper oz. That was the data from Tuesday.
• 5:05
Let's pull that up just to make sure.
• 5:08
It says yeah, right there, Tuesday the 28th of April.
• 5:12
So don't you? Find it suspicious that.
• 5:14
On the days when silver gets absolutely smashed, I think.
• 5:18
Yesterday the paper. Market traded like 250 or what,
• 5:22
maybe less than 200 million ounces.
• 5:25
That's in one. Day OK on Tuesday.
• 5:28
I'll get this right today. I made a mistake yesterday.
• 5:30
I apologize to you, my fellow basement dwellers, but on.
• 5:34
Tuesday, the day they smashed the silver.
• 5:36
Price down. It traded 500 million ounces in
• 5:40
the course of a. Whole year.
• 5:42
The entire mining. Sector only produces 800
• 5:45
million. Oz I mean, they they traded.
• 5:48
In one day, five days of the. Entire year's physical supply
• 5:52
but wait, there's a lot more OK because because we're getting
• 5:57
more and more attention and data drawn under this fact that open
• 6:01
interest is at extremely low levels.
• 6:05
This came from our friend NBA economics.
• 6:07
What's interesting this time around is.
• 6:10
That the total. Open interest across.
• 6:13
All dates on the Comex. All the future.
• 6:16
Dates has hit 10 year. Plus lows.
• 6:20
People are not. Rolling and what they mean by
• 6:22
that is that on the in the futures market, if you have like
• 6:26
a May futures contract, usually what would happen is they would
• 6:31
just roll those forward to future dates, you know, out, out
• 6:35
in the future, June, July, whatever the contract dates were
• 6:38
and they're not doing this. They are.
• 6:40
  Cashing out? Customers are completely
• 6:44
avoiding the Comex now and margin decreases like we had one
• 6:49
week ago today are not bringing them back.
• 6:53
But wait, there's more. Because the old.
• 6:56
Silver Wig brought this up physical.
• 6:59
Players have left. The comex can you?
• 7:02
Blame them. OK, because the comex is where
• 7:05
  a. Lot of physical players would
• 7:07
would hedge their their their. Future needs.
• 7:10
Or their need to sell. Can you blame them?
• 7:13
Why hedge with an exchange? That does not.
• 7:17
Have enough of the commodity you need to hedge the data.
• 7:21
In the PMPU. Category of the Cot report makes
• 7:26
it clear OK the PMPU category stands for the Producers,
• 7:32
Merchants, Processors and Users. Those are the people that
• 7:37
actually. Need the metal right, a lot of
• 7:39
big mining companies will will sell forward their silver
• 7:42
production to hedge it. And, and and the same thing with
• 7:46
the producers. I'm sorry the merchants, the
• 7:49
processors like Jewelers that OK that the data there is showing
• 7:54
that they are leaving the market.
• 7:56
And again, the COT report will cover all the acronyms.
• 7:59
Here for you is the commitment of trader reports that comes out
• 8:04
from the government, I believe like on a weekly basis.
• 8:08
  And there's a great, here's a great little picture that's a
• 8:13
live, what do they call that? A webcam, live webcam of the
• 8:18
Comex silver vaults in New York, because we know they're all in
• 8:22
New York. By the way, we talked about that
• 8:24
earlier, earlier in the week that that they're trying to not
• 8:28
get that changed. There's actually legislation to
• 8:32
more geographically diversify where the silver is stored, but
• 8:36
there's a live webcam of the of the empty of the empty.
• 8:42
Vaults. OK, now we've got something fun.
• 8:45
Based on all. That we know the Comex is in
• 8:48
  trouble. We got a.
• 8:49
Special message. For you, this is hilarious.
• 8:53
This came from my friend again from the silver wig.
• 8:56
A a special message for you about what is happening right
• 9:00
now in the paper markets. This is 10 seconds long.
• 9:04
Enjoy. Just waiting for the comex to
• 9:08
die. I like that guy, I think.
• 9:15
Just waiting for the for the comex to die.
• 9:19
  OK. All right.
• 9:21
Hey, if you want to get your hands on some silver before the
• 9:24
comex potentially. Dies right speculation, but it
• 9:29
will die at some point. Please.
• 9:30
Check out channel sponsor First Mint.
• 9:32
You can be like all the other basement dwellers.
• 9:35
And experience a. Premium retail experience
• 9:38
getting your silver from First Mint.
• 9:41
Who gets the silver from the company that owns them?
• 9:44
First Majestic. Literally from the mine.
• 9:47
To the Mint. At first, mint directly to you
• 9:51
and they've got a special. Right now. $2 off on all silver
• 9:55
rounds. Let's go out and check that out.
• 9:58
On their website. Hey, there it is.
• 10:03
Hold on here. There we go.
• 10:07
Here's first men's website. Let's go back to There we go, $2
• 10:11
off on all, one ounce. Silver rounds.
• 10:15
And the prices? That you'll see.
• 10:17
When you go shopping already include the discount, so you
• 10:20
just go right here to store. Go down to rounds and you can
• 10:24
  check out. Let's look at.
• 10:25
The Let's look at the dragon round.
• 10:28
There's the dragon round and the price that you see there will
• 10:32
  already include the $2.00 discount.
• 10:34
The dragon round is beautiful. I have one here in the basement,
• 10:37
so thank you. First meant for sponsoring Ron's
• 10:40
  basement. It's a big honor.
• 10:42
It's great for us, right? Basement dwellers, we're all
• 10:45
about quality to be associated with such a quality company, OK.
• 10:49
Shocking data. I learned something, discovered
• 10:52
something, thought of something last night.
• 10:55
That that it it relates to what? Everybody's talking about right
• 10:58
now in the gold and silver market and they're wrong, OK,
• 11:02
And I'll explain to you why and I'm not and, and, and, and prove
• 11:05
me wrong if you believe I'm wrong about this, but.
• 11:09
  Everybody's. Talking about this.
• 11:11
  Right interest. Rates the Fed.
• 11:13
Interest rates and. Everybody's talking about this.
• 11:16
Right, inflation, guys. Here's the kind of the common
• 11:21
the common. Thinking right now that if you
• 11:23
  have. Interest rates here and
• 11:25
inflation here, and they're about equal, right?
• 11:28
Now won't be at that over there. We go at about, let's say, 3 1/2
• 11:31
  percent, OK, Interest rates are 3 1/2% and inflation's at 3 1/2
• 11:36
  percent. Everybody wants interest.
• 11:39
Rates to go down, OK, that's. Going to be good for gold and
• 11:42
silver if the Fed cuts rates right?
• 11:45
Why? Because it creates this gap, the
• 11:48
gap between the interest rate in the inflation rate, right?
• 11:52
That gap that's called negative real interest rates.
• 11:55
But now we're in the situation where everybody.
• 11:58
Thinks the Fed is. Going to hold rates steady,
• 12:01
right? And that's bad for gold, bad for
• 12:04
silver. Well, no, because if inflation
• 12:08
goes up, OK, it creates that same gap.
• 12:12
Inflation, whether you do it like this, where inflation's
• 12:15
higher than the interest rates or you have inflation go up, OK,
• 12:20
it creates that same gap where the inflation rate is higher
• 12:25
than the interest rate, that creates negative real interest
• 12:29
  rates. That's not the big.
• 12:30
Thing OK, we've. Talked about that before, but
• 12:33
  that's critical. For us to.
• 12:34
Understand, we don't need the Fed to cut rates for gold and
• 12:39
silver to go up as long as that gap, right, Whether it's down
• 12:43
here or up here, right? Where inflation is higher than
• 12:47
interest rates exist, that is going to be good for the price
• 12:51
of gold and silver. Right now, we're about right
• 12:54
  here. But what blew?
• 12:55
My. Mind last night what I realized
• 12:58
and I've not heard anybody else talk about.
• 13:00
This so this. Is a basement.
• 13:02
Dweller breaking. News is this right?
• 13:05
If everybody's always so focused on interest rates, oh, the feds
• 13:09
got to cut rates. The feds got to cut rates for
• 13:11
gold and silver to do well. Well, if if interest rates are
• 13:15
only a 3 1/2 percent, how far can the Fed really cut rates,
• 13:19
right? We've heard Trump say to. 1%,
• 13:21
whatever. And yeah, that would be good for
• 13:23
  gold and silver. No doubt.
• 13:25
But there's only one or 2% that they can cut rates, whereas over
• 13:30
here, that other way that that gap can exist, inflation is
• 13:34
unlimited. It can go up to 6%, it can go up
• 13:38
to you. I'm sorry, you can't see I'll
• 13:40
get down here. It can go up to 12%.
• 13:43
It could go up as high as 25%. For all we know, OK.
• 13:49
That, but to me was like, I thought, wow, I'd never thought
• 13:52
about that. Everybody's so laser focused on
• 13:55
  interest rates. Getting cut.
• 13:57
By 1/4 percent, Whatever, No. What would be even better for
• 14:01
the gold and silver price and I? Don't want hyperinflation?
• 14:04
I don't want to have happened. What happened and what was that
• 14:07
2022? When food prices went up by. 15%
• 14:11
but this side of the equation has unlimited upside.
• 14:15
It's kind of like when you short a stock, right?
• 14:18
You know there. There there's limited amount of
• 14:20
gain that you can make, but if. You go.
• 14:22
Long it can go up to anywhere that inflation rate can go
• 14:26
higher. That's why inflation we don't
• 14:30
have to worry about cutting interest rates.
• 14:33
What's more important is the inflation rate.
• 14:36
And I'm telling you, the smart people in the room know that
• 14:40
here we're going to go. We'll look at what Rob Keens he
• 14:42
he said it. And then a couple other pieces
• 14:44
of data. That make this absolutely
• 14:47
  crystal. Clear.
• 14:48
And to me, right look in the math.
• 14:51
With what's going? On with the.
• 14:52
Fiscal situation in the United States, that's what.
• 14:55
We're going to have, we're going to have way, way, way higher
• 14:58
inflation the Fed. Let me say one more time, hold
• 15:03
on, let me get my cards. OK, the Fed the OK, here's the
• 15:11
interest rate. Yeah, the Fed could actually
• 15:13
raise. Interest rates, but if inflation
• 15:16
goes up even more, which it will OK.
• 15:20
It's going to be, it's going to be really good for the gold and
• 15:23
silver price. Hey, before I forget, I want to
• 15:25
say thank you to 1st Mining Gold.
• 15:27
Very important for sponsoring Ron's basement.
• 15:29
I'm here and I'm able to do this because of the support of the
• 15:33
sponsors. I've owned stock in First Mining
• 15:36
Gold long before they sponsored my channel.
• 15:39
Their development stage. Gold mining company with two big
• 15:42
projects in Canada, Great Jurisdiction, Spring pull in
• 15:47
  Ontario, Duparque located in Quebec.
• 15:51
You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com and guys
• 15:54
  there. Just aren't a.
• 15:55
Lot of big, massive multi million ounce development stage
• 16:00
projects in Canada and the big mining companies are going to be
• 16:04
out looking, right? They're going to need to
• 16:06
replenish their pipelines and 1st mining gold is sitting in a
• 16:10
very, very good situation. That being said, no matter what
• 16:13
I talk about, please always do your own research.
• 16:16
I'm not a financial advisor, but I will share with you what my
• 16:20
thoughts are on the matter. And.
• 16:22
Just to point out as well, the bears available, I want to say
• 16:25
thank you to Brixton Metals for sponsoring.
• 16:27
We did a one month a sponsorship.
• 16:30
They're great company. Excuse me, another stock that I
• 16:33
own, they're Canadian metals exploration company, but the
• 16:38
bears available. So if you've got a mining
• 16:41
company that you're invested in, I know a lot of the CE OS watch
• 16:44
Ron's Basement. I don't charge the viewers for
• 16:48
anything. We, Susie and I support our
• 16:50
family based off the sponsorships and the money that
• 16:53
we make from the channel. But a great way for mining
• 16:57
companies, any company, to get great exposure with an
• 17:00
  incredible audience, the basement dwellers.
• 17:02
You can reach out to me at ronsbasementsilver@gmail.com.
• 17:07
Enough of that, let's move on. See what Rob Kentz has to say
• 17:11
about inflation. He's one of the smartest guys
• 17:14
out there, he says. Gold is falling because open.
• 17:19
Interest on the Comex is low. Buyers are staying away.
• 17:23
The market is high risk. Only smart bidders are.
• 17:25
Active in futures. When the full effects of
• 17:29
inflation caused by the Hormuz closure and oil shortages are
• 17:34
felt, this will reverse. Gold is building a quiet base
• 17:43
and will explode when the market.
• 17:46
  Understands how inflation. Will explode.
• 17:50
Thank you, Rob. I agree with you 150%.
• 17:54
Everybody's so focused on the Fed, right?
• 17:57
This guy. Who, I guess is staying at the
• 17:59
  Fed. He's still.
• 18:00
There for now. Oh, when's he going to cut
• 18:02
  rates? He doesn't.
• 18:03
Matter, remember. He's in a box.
• 18:06
  Recession, inflation, stagflation.
• 18:09
What matters is inflation. Right inflation.
• 18:13
Will will overtake any moves? At this point that the Fed can
• 18:19
make. All right, let's move on to the
• 18:20
next one. This from the Kobesi letter
• 18:26
talking about the Fed. Very interesting summary of the
• 18:30
Fed decision. the Fed #1 Fedley's rates unchanged for
• 18:33
third straight meeting. 24 FED members dissented 3 Three Fed
• 18:38
members did not support the inclusion of an.
• 18:42
  Easing bias? Oh.
• 18:43
My gosh, right, They're not going to raise rates like we
• 18:46
just talked about #4 the Fed says the Middle East
• 18:50
developments are contributing to quote high level of uncertainty
• 18:55
#5 the Fed specifically notes concern over.
• 18:59

• 19:42
Inflation has averaged over 4% per year over the past six
• 19:47
  years. Powell's explanation?
• 19:53
It was nearly all due to rolling supply shocks over which the Fed
• 19:57
  has no control. The truth.
• 20:00
  This. Inflation was made in
• 20:02
Washington, as it always is, from too much government
• 20:06
borrowing and spending and too much government creation of
• 20:11
money. And the cherry on top, right,
• 20:15
guys? This was well hold on a second
• 20:17
  breaking from bar chart breaking.

• 21:36
They can't do what they did, what Volcker did in the 70s
• 21:39
because of the National. Debt like we just looked at.
• 21:43
We can, we can not, we cannot even afford to pay the interest
