  Exodus. This has been a mammoth Journey.

  Do you remember all that time ago when we heard about?

  Moses being born and placed in a basket and put on the river,
• 0:34
  that that feels like a very long time ago.

  We have covered so much ground together in this incredible book
• 0:43
  as part of the pentateuch and here we reach the very last
• 0:47
  chapter and you remember all those months ago when I've said
• 0:51
  this is a book, all about God's presence.
• 0:54
  Well, it is a fantastic finale in which God's presence.
• 1:00
  Is the climax of this entire story as it comes to dwell with
• 1:05
  his people. Thank you for staying with me

  for reading each of these chapters together with me.

  And so that you and I can come to this point and see this
• 1:15
  incredible moment in human history.

  So I've said enough, how about we hand the microphone over to

  Moses? Well, he's not here so I might
• 1:27
  take a stand and read for him but let's read together.

  Get a friends. The final chapter of Exodus,
• 1:32
  Exodus chapter 40, Then the Lord said to Moses set
• 1:49
  up the Tabernacle on the first day of the New Year place the
• 1:53
  Ark of the Covenant inside and install the inner curtain to
• 1:57
  enclose the arc within the most holy place, then bring in the
• 2:02
  table and arrange the utensils on it and bring in the
• 2:06
  lampstands and set up the lamps place.

  The gold incense altar in front of the Ark of the Covenant.

  Then hang the curtain at the entrance of Tabernacle place,
• 2:17
  the altar of burnt offerings in front of the Tabernacle entrance
• 2:21
  set, the wash basin between the Tabernacle and the Altar and
• 2:24
  fill it with water, then set up the courtyard, around the
• 2:27
  outside of the tent, and hang the curtain for the courtyard
• 2:31
  entrance. Take the anointing oil and

  anoint the Tabernacle and all its Furnishings to consecrate

  them and make them. Holy anoint, the altar of burnt

  offering and it's utensils to consecrate them there.

  So the Tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month

  of the second year. Moses, erected the Tabernacle by

  setting down its bases, inserting the frames, attaching

  the crossbars and setting up the posts, then he spread the

  coverings over the tab. An actual framework and put on

  the protective layers just as the Lord had commanded him.

  He took the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the
• 3:54
  Covenant and placed them inside the ark.

  Then he attached the carrying poles to the ark and he set the

  arcs. Cover the place of atonement on

  top of it. Then he brought the Ark of the

  Covenant into the Tabernacle and hung the inner curtain to Shield

  it from view, just as the Lord had commanded him next.

  Holy place. Then he lit the lamps in the

  Lord's presence just as the Lord had commanded him.

  He also placed the gold incense altar in the Tabernacle in the
• 4:43
  Holy place in front of the inner curtain.

  On it. He burned The Fragrant incense
• 4:48
  just as the Lord had commanded him.
• 4:51
  He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Tabernacle and
• 4:54
  he placed the altar of burnt offering near the Tabernacle
• 4:57
  entrance honored, he offered a burnt offering and a grain
• 5:01
  offering just as the Lord had commanded him next.

  Moses, placed the wash basin between the Tabernacle and the
• 5:08
  altar. He filled it with water, so the
• 5:11
  priests could wash themselves. Moses and Aaron and Aaron Sons
• 5:15
  used, Water from it to wash their hands and feet whenever
• 5:19
  they approach The Altar and entered.
• 5:20
  The Tabernacle they wash themselves, just as the Lord had
• 5:23
  commanded Moses, then he hung the curtains forming the
• 5:28
  courtyard around the Tabernacle and the Altar, and he set up the
• 5:33
  curtain at the entrance of the courtyard.

  So at last Moses, finished the work.
• 5:41
  Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle and the glory of the
• 5:46
  Lord filled. The Tabernacle Moses could no
• 5:49
  longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled
• 5:53
  down over it and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

  Now, whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people
• 6:03
  of Israel would set out on their journey, following it.
• 6:07
  But if the cloud did not rise, They remained where they were
• 6:11
  until it lifted. The Cloud of the Lord Harvard
• 6:15
  over the tabernacle during the day and at night fire glowed
• 6:20
  inside the cloud. So the whole family of Israel
• 6:24
  could see it. This continued throughout all
• 6:28
  their Journeys Father, what an epic tale of you
• 6:43
  and your people. The lengths you went to in the
• 6:47
  links, you ask them to go to, to create a way for you to be
• 6:52
  present with us. Thank you that throughout
• 6:56
  history, we can read of you, reaching out to be present with
• 7:01
  us. and when this Covenant fails you come up with a new way of
• 7:06
  being with your people and you give us Jesus and you give us
• 7:10
  your spirit and they can be with us and we can be with you and
• 7:14
  ultimately we will be reunited perfectly with you for eternity.

  Truly present to each other with no more regulations to make it
• 7:27
  doable. Thank you that your heart and
• 7:32
  the entirety of your work is to draw us closer to you.
