• 0:39
Hey guys, welcome to the live stream.
• 0:40
Welcome to the basement. Today is a big day.
• 0:43
It's our four month Unicorn fart dust birthday.
• 0:46
So congratulations. Like what have we accomplished
• 0:50
in the last four months? It has been nothing short of
• 0:53
spectacular, right? There's been millions and
• 0:56
millions, literally maybe 10 million other meme coins created
• 1:01
since we came around. Well, at least millions and
• 1:03
millions and we are still amongst the top 607 hundred of
• 1:08
all crypto currencies. So give yourself a pat on your
• 1:12
  hindquarters. It's a big deal.
• 1:14
It's been an awesome ride. 1/3 of a year, 4 months, right?
• 1:18
Sometimes feels like 40 years, sometimes feels like 4 hours.
• 1:23
Things move very crazy and crypto.
• 1:25
But the bottom line is you as a community have made this happen.
• 1:28
So thank you. Hey, my disclaimer, this is not
• 1:31
financial advice. Don't buy or sell anything.
• 1:33
Make any type of decisions based on anything that I share here
• 1:36
today. I'm not a financial advisor, but
• 1:39
I do hold a large, large position in Unicorn Parta.
• 1:43
So our horns are aligned and horns up dusters.
• 1:48
Excuse me, I'm still a little under the weather, but we are
• 1:51
connecting from all over the world and this is a special
• 1:54
situation. Later on in this live stream,
• 1:58
we're going to be joined by a special guest, Jax, the founder
• 2:01
of Memecon, those big conventions, meme coin
• 2:04
conventions that go on all around the world.
• 2:07
We're going to have a great conversation with him about some
• 2:11
upcoming conventions, but also I'm going to ask him about what
• 2:14
he sees going on in the meme coin sector.
• 2:17
See if he has any advice for us at Unicorn Fart Dust, right as
• 2:21
we as a community based coin move forward.
• 2:24
But let's go out and take a look at what's going on in the
• 2:27
general markets right now. It's important we stay on top of
• 2:30
things in the US We're going to refresh this.
• 2:34
We're out at the CNBC website. OK, so that's not it.
• 2:39
Let's go to the United States, Dow Jones Industrial, so the
• 2:44
markets are red today. The stock market, the Dow down
• 2:47
.6 the S&P. Wow, the NASDAQ really getting
• 2:52
hit. This has to do with NVIDIA.
• 2:55
Apparently the Trump administration is making it more
• 2:59
difficult, from what I understand, for NVIDIA to export
• 3:02
their chips to China. So we're taking a big hit on the
• 3:05
NASDAQ. Let's go look at the crypto
• 3:07
markets and see if that. OK, so Bitcoin down just a hair,
• 3:12
Ether, Etherium down 2%, Solana down 2%, Dogecoin at 15.
• 3:18
You know, I was looking at a chart of Dogecoin.
• 3:21
Let's pull this up. They're obviously the right now,
• 3:25
for now anyway, the biggest meme coin out there.
• 3:29
But if you look at a one year chart of Doge and you go back to
• 3:34
right around when we were created guys, DOGE is down
• 3:38
almost 66% during that time period.
• 3:42
So as we talked about earlier, what we've accomplished over the
• 3:46
last four months has been unbelievable as a community.
• 3:50
However, when we when we when we consider the fact that we've
• 3:53
done that in a very difficult crypto market, it's even more
• 3:57
impressive. Let's go out and look at the
• 3:59
precious metals because they are first cousins to crypto and gold
• 4:04
is still on a tear at 33, fourteen 3314 silver up $0.40 at
• 4:12
about 32, almost $33 per oz. So that's what we have going in
• 4:17
the general markets. Now let's talk about UFD and I
• 4:21
want to share with you something that I found very heartwarming
• 4:24
that shows what this community is all about.
• 4:27
Community is going to drive the value.
• 4:29
Community will drive the price, right?
• 4:32
This is a complete community takeover coin.
• 4:36
This Unicorn fart dust is the one-of-a-kind.
• 4:41
I mean, really, the Unicorn in Unicorn fart dust truly is the
• 4:47
Unicorn. And what I'm seeing here guys is
• 4:50
so encouraging for me. This was very heartwarming.
• 4:54
Hold on here, I bumped into this last night and this just to me
• 4:59
speaks volumes about the UFD community.
• 5:02
This guy Anon who is big in the apparently APU which is another
• 5:09
very popular meme coin community said he picked up 10,000 UFD.
• 5:14
Not financial advice but I really believe in where Unicorn
• 5:18
fart dust is headed. I forgot to.
• 5:20
Turn Susie's walkie on. Hold on one second here.
• 5:23
  OK? Uh oh.
• 5:25
I'm going to be in trouble, guys, OK?
• 5:28
I'm here for the long haul and backing that up with real
• 5:33
action. But then look what happened
• 5:35
after this, after this great person posted this, I was just
• 5:39
like, overwhelmed. I mean, there's Georgie, welcome
• 5:42
to the party, OK? There's Duster O1 best play 2025
• 5:48
  to 2030. There's an advertisement.
• 5:51
  There's lad. Welcome to UFDI.
• 5:53
Mean look at this. There's Windows 98 Fart Force
• 5:56
  One. There's Madman.
• 5:58
Welcome to the family UFD. There's Nate Unicorn fart dust.
• 6:03
OK. There's Mr. B with the video of
• 6:05
the Duster Mobile OK. There's BJOR 96 NFT.
• 6:11
  There's P, OK. There's Mr. B again.
• 6:15
I mean, there's DJ Litmus. It just goes on and on.
• 6:17
Guys. You guys like somebody comes in,
• 6:20
welcome, welcome, welcome. That's a big deal.
• 6:23
That is value because you know what?
• 6:26
People will pay money to be part of a community, to belong, to
• 6:31
feel like they're part of something that is real.
• 6:34
OK, Think about this. What's the most valuable thing
• 6:37
in your life? What's the most valuable thing
• 6:40
of tangible real things and of intangible things?
• 6:44
Everybody will say relationships, being part of a
• 6:47
group. So when I saw that, I was just
• 6:50
completely encouraged again with what you are doing as a
• 6:54
community. And we've been here for four
• 6:56
  months. We've proven right.
• 6:58
We've proven that we are here to stay.
• 7:01
We are just building and building and building this base
• 7:04
that I think, I think with the power of the community like this
• 7:08
is you guys, this is in your hands and you're taking the
• 7:11
opportunity to make it something real that we've got great things
• 7:16
  ahead. For us, all right.
• 7:17
Let's go look at this other data about UFD, all right.
• 7:28
This was a great. Post from Deep agents said UFD
• 7:31
top holders haven't made any sales in the last month and the
• 7:35
top five holders haven't made any sales at all at basement
• 7:40
  run. Do they know something?
• 7:43
Well, I can't comment on that, but we'll say, let's say that
• 7:48
that that I would agree with them, OK.
• 7:54
But what I look at when I see this chart, this is I think
• 7:56
very, very interesting. These are our top 10 holders.
• 8:01
Okay, I'm almost on that list because I now own .7%.
• 8:04
I've been buying Unicorn fart test, not financial advice.
• 8:08
I'm not, you know, not making predictions or anything, but I
• 8:11
am almost in the top 10. But look at this and that says
• 8:15
something, right? Our top 10 holders, I mean, I
• 8:18
think on average, it looks like, I mean, our, our, the, our top
• 8:24
holder owns 2%. We got a couple in there.
• 8:27
But on average, where did I see this?
• 8:29
I saw some data on here. I mean, basically, guys, our
• 8:32
holders are so diversified, it's incredible.
• 8:41
Sorry, I have to mute the microphone to cough from time to
• 8:44
time. I'm going to have a little sip
• 8:45
of coffee here. I'll struggle through this.
• 8:56
But that's a big deal, right? That our, our our holder base is
• 9:01
so diversified, so many. We got 400 people.
• 9:05
It's our four month anniversary. Congratulations, dusters,
• 9:08
Please, before I forget, share this video.
• 9:11
All right, retweet it if you're watching on X, if you're on
• 9:15
YouTube, give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends,
• 9:18
share a link. You know, you can go to these
• 9:19
things and get the little arrow that says share.
• 9:21
Send it out on your social media, repost it.
• 9:24
Let's get the word out about UFD.
• 9:26
This is such a unique and special opportunity.
• 9:31
And if you're here now, you believe, right, you're a super
• 9:34
duster, why not share? Why not spread the good news,
• 9:38
right? We've got a lot of a lot to be
• 9:40
optimistic about. We have a solid foundation going
• 9:43
on. So please and don't forget guys
• 9:45
here in the near future on YouTube only, we're going to be
• 9:49
switching the live stream to the Unicorn Fart Dust exclusive
• 9:54
channel. We have a new channel on YouTube
• 9:56
for Unicorn Fart Dust. I think we're up to about 400
• 9:59
subscribers right now. So please go out, find that
• 10:03
there's a link in the description and subscribe to the
• 10:06
new YouTube channel as well. Now let's do Duster of the Day.
• 10:11
We have a very, very special Duster of the Day today,
• 10:15
somebody who's super popular within our community and is
• 10:20
doing a lot for the mean coin sector in general.
• 10:29
Our good friend Hanok, my grandson, he calls me his grand
• 10:34
  pappy. He started that.
• 10:36
But we absolutely love this guy. Actually, everybody loves this
• 10:40
guy. And you know, it's a big, big
• 10:42
privilege and a big honor that he's part of our Duster
• 10:46
community. Our friend, our friend duster #1
• 10:51
  actually made this recommendation.
• 10:53
And I can't believe we didn't do it sooner.
• 10:55
But Hanok, you know, it comes into our spaces.
• 10:59
He's a big believer in UFDI. Wanted to mention to you guys
• 11:02
too, he has his own podcast now. Let me see if I can pull this up
• 11:07
without screwing things up. There it is.
• 11:10
There the meme coin podcast. He's covering all things crypto.
• 11:15
Please subscribe to that. Let me go back here.
• 11:18
I want to go to his link tree. That's what I wanted to go to.
• 11:22
OK, there it is, the meme coin podcast and you can listen to
• 11:25
that on Apple Podcast, YouTube X TikTok.
• 11:28
Everything's there, all of his different links.
• 11:31
Hey, this guy is, like I said, everybody loves him.
• 11:34
He's the best. So it's a big honor today that
• 11:37
we get the we get to recognize Hanok as duster of the day.
• 11:42
Right, he's going to get his golden horn in a minute.
• 11:44
But first, he even took the time to write a nice little note to
• 11:47
  all of us. Duster.
• 11:48
So this is from our friend Hanok, who says UFT is one of
• 11:57
the most remarkable stories ever to come from meme coins.
• 12:01
I've never seen a more wholesome community in my 4 years
• 12:05
dedicated to memes. So he's been around meme coins
• 12:08
longer than almost anybody. Guys, I'm not going to lie, when
• 12:12
I first heard about Unicorn Fart test I thought it was the
• 12:15
dumbest weirdest narrative. Well you know what Henox?
• 12:18
So did I remember when I created it I said his Unicorn fart does.
• 12:22
Don't buy it. So you're not alone my friend.
• 12:25
I completely faded. I watched the massive run up and
• 12:28
when Bitcoin started declining I thought it was over but then I
• 12:33
met a key community member and started attending spaces.
• 12:37
I listened to Ron speak and lead with passion and integrity.
• 12:41
I was wrong about UFDI saw strength and resilience in the
• 12:45
face of mean coin Armageddon this year.
• 12:49
My number one metric for successful meme coins are the
• 12:53
quality of the people connected to the project.
• 12:56
It's rare that you see an aggregate of high quality
• 12:59
individuals in a meme project. That's what we have with UFD.
• 13:04
So much higher for us. You brought up a couple things I
• 13:08
want to touch on guys. Number one, right that we have
• 13:11
  survived. Through.
• 13:12
Meme coin Armageddon. We saw what happened to to
• 13:16
Dogecoin since our creation. We know what's going on in the
• 13:19
general markets and we have survived with perseverance and
• 13:24
positivity. So I appreciate Hanoch pointing
• 13:26
that out. But I think what's even more
• 13:28
important, and I've been harping on this a lot lately, as you all
• 13:32
very well know, are the quality of the people connected to the
• 13:36
project. Guys, our community is made-up
• 13:40
of, I tear up saying this, the highest quality people, OK?
• 13:46
Quality, OK. And quantity is important and
• 13:49
we've got quantity, but the quality of the people, right?
• 13:53
Like I would rather gain 10 new quality people today than 100
• 13:58
low quality. And we are attracting the people
• 14:01
in this community, the quality. Right.
• 14:04
And I know that's a general blanket term, but it is
• 14:07
absolutely true, right, that the quality of people in this
• 14:11
community is really, really second to none.
• 14:14
So thank you, Hanak, for pointing that out.
• 14:17
We're waiting for our friend Jax.
• 14:19
Jax, if you're listening out there, you go in and press Enter
• 14:26
Studio on. On stream Yard, which is the
• 14:30
platform we're using today. But hey everybody, let's let's
• 14:35
all everybody help me install the Golden horn onto our friend
• 14:39
Hanok, OK? He brought up some great points.
• 14:42
He said you're quality people, right?
• 14:43
But it's a big deal that today we're going to recognize you,
• 14:46
Hanok, as duster of the day, and here is your golden horn.
• 14:51
And hey, guys, I just saw Jax come in.
• 14:53
I'm going to pull him up. Hold on one second.
• 14:55
  Hey. Ron.
• 14:58
Hey, good to see you. Yeah, good to see you too,
• 15:00
  buddy. How's it going?
• 15:02
  Really good. Thanks.
• 15:03
Really good. Yeah, very busy in preparation
• 15:07
for all the events that we've got coming up, but yeah, very,
• 15:09
  very good. And yourself.
• 15:11
Yeah, we're doing great. We're doing great.
• 15:13
We really appreciate you coming on.
• 15:14
I know I kind of told everybody you're the founder of Memecon,
• 15:19
these big Memecoin conventions that go on all around the world,
• 15:24
you know, and I think, did you, did you just wrap up your
• 15:26
convention in, in Paris? Is that right?
• 15:30
Yeah, correct. We, we ran like a mini kind of
• 15:32
like conference alongside Paris Blockchain Week.
• 15:36
So that was last week. Very, very successful.
• 15:40
So it's been a crazy few months, right?
• 15:41
And I think it was for us, we were, we were honoring and are
• 15:45
in about going to Paris. And then we're really glad that
• 15:48
we did in the end. We made some incredible
• 15:50
connections to teamwork brilliant out there.
• 15:52
So yeah, it's good, Very good. Wow.
• 15:56
So, yeah, well, you know, and I wanted to ask you because how,
• 15:59
how many years have you been? Is it been two or three years
• 16:02
that you've been running these the the meme coin conventions?
• 16:06
No, actually SO started in December 2023.
• 16:11
So. Yeah, so myself, I think I said
• 16:14
to you before everybody else on the call, I've been in crypto
• 16:18
for a long, long time or fills up a long time.
• 16:20
I guess I'll be classed kind of as an OG since 2017.
• 16:24
And so I've been in meme coin specifically for around about
• 16:27
three years. And yeah, December 2023, I was
• 16:34
actually looking for work at the time and thinking what to do.
• 16:37
And then this idea just kind of swung into my head.
• 16:40
Nobody saw a mean coin conference.
• 16:42
And there are obviously lots of other mean, There are lots of
• 16:45
other conferences for everything else in crypto, but mean coins
• 16:48
didn't have somewhere to go to. So that's kind of how it
• 16:50
  started, yeah. Excellent.
• 16:53
So over those years, I'm going to ask you for some insight.
• 16:57
Since you've been around the mean coin sector, are there any
• 17:00
key key factors or components that you see that you think help
• 17:05
determine the success or failure of meme of a certain meme coin?
• 17:11
  Definitely. So it's, it's actually, I mean,
• 17:15
it's changed a lot since the last year because of obviously
• 17:17
everything that's happened with Pump Fund, which has completely
• 17:20
changed the landscape. Because before obviously it was
• 17:25
there were a lot of the meme coins that were kind of, I guess
• 17:27
based on pure memes, things like Pepe, Doge, things like that,
• 17:30
that were doing extremely well. And that's basically based off
• 17:34
just of a meme historically because it's been so culturally
• 17:37
relevant. But then if you look at what's.
• 17:40
Happened with kind of pump fun over the last year.
• 17:42
It's completely kind of changed landscape.
• 17:44
So meme coins were always casino type.
• 17:49
I would say it's borderline gambling in the past for sure,
• 17:53
but this is kind of like made it even more into that on that
• 17:57
side. Whereas to answer your kind of
• 18:00
other question, how how do I see projects really push forward and
• 18:03
become much, much bigger is looking into creating some kind
• 18:09
of IP. And I think that's kind of where
• 18:11
I see quite a lot of the mean coins that the bigger ones or
• 18:14
the ones that are trying to really push the space kind of
• 18:17
going towards. So examples of that would be
• 18:20
like Ponkey, for example. I think you guys are doing a
• 18:23
really good job of that as well. And I don't know if you saw a
• 18:27
few weeks ago, there was a brilliant article by Luca, you
• 18:30
must have seen it in touch about social, social tokens.
• 18:34
And that's, that's the way that I kind of see it.
• 18:36
Teams that will push to actually become brands within their own
• 18:40
rights within this place and take this very seriously should
• 18:43
I think do very well and in the next kind of like 6 months and
• 18:47
one year. That's not to say that the
• 18:49
casino goes away. The casino is an important part
• 18:52
of meme coins for sure. But I think there's an
• 18:54
opportunity, there's a gap in the kind of market for meme
• 18:57
coins to have those kind of brands come forward like a
• 19:01
  pudding. So we're just, I think we're
• 19:03
just waiting to see which one it will be.
• 19:05
So yeah. Yeah, like a real a real value
• 19:10
being created because of the brand itself and obviously
• 19:14
  generated from within a community.
• 19:16
I would imagine is is going to be a key component as well.
• 19:20
You know, we were we were Unicorn fart Dust, as I'm sure
• 19:22
you know was created on pump fun.
• 19:25
And now that I've been today's our four month birthday, by the
• 19:28
way, Jack, so Unicorn fart dust is officially four months old,
• 19:34
you know, and I have kind of mixed feelings when I look at
• 19:36
pump Fung as I know there's just like 50 or 60,000 new meme coin
• 19:40
being created and that's where I came from.
• 19:44
So I'm not like putting it down, but it just feels like this
• 19:47
non-stop like production of meme coins.
• 19:51
And I just wonder, I wonder where that goes eventually,
• 19:55
right? Does that does that event?
• 19:57
I mean, I wonder what happens any.
• 19:58
Thoughts on that? I don't think it goes away.
• 20:01
I think it probably will get bigger.
• 20:03
That's honestly what I think just purely based on if you're
• 20:06
looking at why these meme coins spring up every single day,
• 20:09
right? This is based on attention
• 20:11
economy. Lots of the memes coming from
• 20:13
places like TikTok, other memes coming just from social media,
• 20:17
public figures saying things. And then that would just spring
• 20:20
up a meme and that that that stuff like a lot of it is
• 20:23
gambling, right? You have people that are
• 20:25
literally devs that will sit there.
• 20:29
I don't, I don't know who they are, most of them, but they're
• 20:31
sitting there obviously all day just looking for things to
• 20:34
launch and then sniping tokens, bundles and things like that.
• 20:40
So it's a, it's a pretty dangerous kind of like place to
• 20:42
play in for sure. But it can be extremely
• 20:44
lucrative. And I think that's the thing, I
• 20:47
don't think that goes away because some people, they make
• 20:49
so much money off of doing this. But I think you need to be on it
• 20:53
every, you know, you need to be on it almost 24/7 or you need to
• 20:56
have the right tools in place to know what you're doing to make
• 20:59
sure you don't get burnt. So I don't think that goes away
• 21:02
anytime soon for sure. Yeah, you know, and I and.
• 21:06
As you were, as you were talking, I was thinking with
• 21:09
this like mass production of meme coins that we're
• 21:13
experiencing right now, like kind of dilution within the meme
• 21:17
coin sector. I wonder if the meme coins that
• 21:21
are able to establish themselves as a brand.
• 21:25
And I would think that a lot of the meme coins that you deal
• 21:28
with and running your conventions are ones that are
• 21:30
working on wanting to establish themselves as a brand, if in a
• 21:34
almost perverse way, it helps the meme coins that are
• 21:39
  establishing themselves as a brand.
• 21:41
Because there's so many other ones that are like, I guess you
• 21:44
would say some people call them gambling tokens short term.
• 21:48
That the ones that do set themselves apart, the, the pudgy
• 21:51
Penguins and the Unicorn fart dust and coins like that, that
• 21:55
actually at some point people throw their arms up and say, I
• 21:58
just want to go with a, a meme coin that I know I can trust and
• 22:01
  believe it. Uh oh.
• 22:08
I think Jax froze on us here temporarily.
• 22:14
Jax fell asleep. Oh boy, we were having such a
• 22:18
great conversation. We'll wait here, we'll get him
• 22:21
back, folks, don't worry. But I do find that to be an
• 22:25
interesting thing. And Jax really kind of
• 22:28
stimulated that thought to me that, yes, we know we've got all
• 22:32
of these, all of these meme coins being created every single
• 22:36
day that in some way that actually helps the meme coins
• 22:40
that are that are establishing themselves as a brand.
• 22:47
You know what guys? While he's hopefully going to
• 22:50
get back to us here, get reconnected, I want to run out
• 22:54
and show you their website that's got some information.
• 23:01
Here's the meme con. It's memecon dot lol website.
• 23:07
There it is right there and I wanted to ask him what does rect
• 23:09
  mean? RERE.
• 23:10
KTI was thinking that was like maybe a party term.
• 23:14
But here's Memecon and looks like their upcoming summit
• 23:20
convention will be in Lisbon, June 4th through 6th.
• 23:26
And Jax, if you come back on and I hear you, let me go back and
• 23:30
check. Make sure we don't have them up.
• 23:32
Here he is. Jax, hold on here.
• 23:41
  Are you there? Uh oh.
• 23:45
  Hey, Jax. Nope.
• 23:48
All right, Jax, if you can hear me, we're going to try this
• 23:53
again. I'm going to remove you.
• 23:55
Try to come back on one more time.
• 23:57
I'll remove you all together, OK.
• 24:01
The stage. Jax, are you there?
• 24:06
Darn it. All right, so I'm going to
• 24:08
  remove him. Here we go.
• 24:12
OK, let's go back out to his website.
• 24:15
Always something fun and exciting when you're live
• 24:17
streaming, guys. I know you understand that, but
• 24:21
yeah, so that. Lisbon will be here June 4th
• 24:24
through 6th. Here's some past events.
• 24:26
They have a lot of fun here. Let's look at their Lisbon from
• 24:29
  last year. What the fuck?
• 24:39
  Why hasn't this happened? But.
• 24:43
There's some footage from there. All right, guys, I'm going to go
• 25:03
back and see if we can get Jax back on here.
• 25:09
Hey Jax, can you hear me? Darn it, for some reason you're
• 25:14
not coming through with video or audio authenticated with
• 25:20
  YouTube, OK? Ha.
• 25:25
Well, darn it, guys, I cannot get.
• 25:30
  He's trying again. Let's see.
• 25:32
Oh, there he is. Let's see if this works, Jax.
• 25:36
Shit, I mean, I mean, I Portugal, I live in Portugal and
• 25:42
the Internet in Portugal is terrible, Yeah.
• 25:45
  No. Where I am.
• 25:47
Yeah. No, no, no problem, buddy.
• 25:49
And then I'm like, am I doing something wrong?
• 25:51
You know, I, I told everybody this is live streaming, you
• 25:55
know, you get to deal with, you get to deal with all kinds of
• 25:57
fun stuff. So I showed your website.
• 26:00
And your next conventions coming up in Lisbon early June, is that
• 26:04
  correct? Correct.
• 26:05
Yeah, for 4th to the 6th of June.
• 26:07
So this will be the. Oh boy, Poor Jax.
• 26:14
You froze up again on me, unfortunately.
• 26:18
  Darn it. I know.
• 26:20
Internet issues are so, so all right.
• 26:24
We're going to. We'll try again frustrating Jax,
• 26:32
if you you're still alive. So if you can hear me and you
• 26:35
think you're back on, just start talking and I will bring you
• 26:39
back on on video again. I thought we were having a great
• 26:43
  conversation. I've liked him.
• 26:45
I've been on his show a few times.
• 26:47
I just think that the one thing that I took away from our our,
• 26:52
our conversation is this fact that there are certain meme
• 26:56
coins that are beginning to establish themselves as a brand.
• 27:00
And I think Unicorn Fart Dust is a brand.
• 27:02
OK, look, we've got all the key components.
• 27:05
We have our, our, our, our origin story, our lore, how this
• 27:10
got created by the almost boomer in his basement who didn't
• 27:13
believe in crypto at all. We've got Jax's Jax, just so
• 27:18
everybody knows he is doing his best to get back on.
• 27:21
I can see him putting in the effort here.
• 27:24
Apparently in Portugal they have some real challenges with with
• 27:28
Internet. We've got our creed good,
• 27:31
attracts good, right? Our beliefs, honesty, integrity.
• 27:35
We have our. We have our, our, our icons our.
• 27:40
  Symbols. The Unicorn, right?
• 27:42
Everything else goes on. We have our rituals.
• 27:45
  Horns up, dusters, jacks. Yeah.
• 27:48
It just is not. I don't see.
• 28:24
This is Ward. I now can't hear you, Ron.
• 28:29
If you can see me, then I can't hear you now.
• 28:35
OK. Not sure why this is.
• 28:41
No, not the play. Any sound.
• 28:43
Very strange. No, it's not that.
• 28:54
Yeah, I definitely need the walkie-talkie.
• 28:59
I'll come back out one more time and come back in, see if it
• 29:02
  works. So apologies.
• 29:19
I think he. I think I had my microphone
• 29:21
  muted. Oh my gosh.
• 29:25
Hey, what a great opportunity to say thank you to our sponsors.
• 29:28
Ledger, the leader in hardware wallet cold storage.
• 29:31
You know my story, right? Please don't do what I did.
• 29:35
Think about security before something happens.
• 29:38
  Don't. Think it won't?
• 29:39
Happen to you and our friends at Moon Pay who make it possible
• 29:43
for me to be here every day moon pay is the on ramp into crypto
• 29:48
for millions and millions of people all over the world if you
• 29:51
haven't heard of moon pay yet you certainly will in the future
• 29:56
jax we're waiting for you to come back I actually jax think I
• 29:59
had my microphone muted which would be my.
• 30:02
Fault that time, but hey, we've got 800 people here.
• 30:05
Come on, Jax, we're we're rooting for you.
• 30:08
Give us one more try, my friend. I have a feeling we're going to
• 30:13
get it all set up and we're going to keep going.
• 30:16
Let me go out guys, while we're here and I will.
• 30:21
I want to show you the funnies of the day.
• 30:26
These come from our friend Susie, right?
• 30:28
Eat your beans Dusters, All right, the artwork that you guys
• 30:34
that's from Frannie and the dusters 100 billion for UFD.
• 30:38
That is awesome and here we go this came from RBIL 26278 O, but
• 30:52
  some great artwork. OK.
• 30:55
And I really appreciate you guys getting Ledger and Moon Pay in
• 30:58
there as well, right? Because again, these sponsors
• 31:01
are everything. All right, let's go back out and
• 31:06
see if we got Jacks. There he is.
• 31:08
Hold on. Can you hear me?
• 31:12
  Jax? You were there.
• 31:15
Darn it. Hey, Jax, let's do this.
• 31:24
Jax, now you're frozen. My microphone's on, darn it.
• 31:36
Now I can't hear you and you're frozen on my screen,
• 31:39
  unfortunately. So hold on here.
• 31:46
Let me see if Susie has any ideas.
• 31:49
Hey, Susie, do you up? Jax?
• 31:52
Oh, yeah, it's frozen. All right, hold on.
• 31:55
Oh, wait, wait, wait. Jax can't unmute.
• 32:01
I can't hear you now. Says your microphone is muted.
• 32:07
Yeah, yeah, I can hear you now, Jax.
• 32:11
  Jax. Oh, thank God.
• 32:13
Oh my gosh, I feel like we've been through.
• 32:15
I feel like we've been through a war together or something.
• 32:19
Trust me, it's not, not the first time.
• 32:21
  Like I say, like it's it's bizarre.
• 32:22
Like I'm in Porto in Portugal and it's Lisbon was the same.
• 32:27
Porto is the same. Some days it's OK, other days
• 32:30
it's not. So yeah, anyway, we got there in
• 32:31
  the end. Yeah, Yeah.
• 32:33
Well. You know, and it's funny because
• 32:35
before we went on, I was down here in the basement and kind of
• 32:38
  preparing mentally for us talking.
• 32:40
And it hit me. It's like, it's really just a
• 32:43
miracle in my opinion. I mean, I'm 55 years old, but
• 32:46
that we can like connect. You're in Portugal.
• 32:48
I'm here. We've got 850 people that are
• 32:51
joining us right now. I mean, I know we have
• 32:55
challenges with technology, but the fact that we can do this is
• 32:59
pretty darn cool if you if you think about it.
• 33:03
It is cool. I just wish it was easier.
• 33:05
And Spaces is the same like we've been, we've been running
• 33:08
Spaces on Twitter for like over a year now.
• 33:10
And yeah, you get rugged on that constantly as well.
• 33:13
So we're getting pretty used to it.
• 33:14
But yeah, it, it takes a bit of patience, but we've got there
• 33:17
now. But I think the, the question
• 33:18
that you asked me before was about basically liquidity, like
• 33:22
fragmented kind of liquidity across all of these different
• 33:24
tokens launching. And I was just going to say,
• 33:27
yeah, it's it's definitely a problem for sure.
• 33:30
As soon as you get some new trend or something happening
• 33:34
coming through on pump fund, right, all that liquidity or a
• 33:37
lot of it gets pulled. And that's down to what's
• 33:40
happened with obviously pump fund launching and all that
• 33:43
  attention being dragged everywhere.
• 33:45
But I do think again, just going back to this whole trying to get
• 33:50
the big kind of like meme coins to create these kind of brands.
• 33:53
It's still, in my opinion, the best way to bring new people
• 33:56
into Web 3 like or crypt crypto, web three, however you'd like to
• 34:01
call it. But that's that's been the
• 34:03
problem in the over the past kind of few years for me is that
• 34:07
we, we haven't seen the same on boarding of people probably
• 34:10
since NFTSNFTS did bring a lot of new people in.
• 34:13
From what I can remember. People still talk about them
• 34:16
when I speak about crypto, but nobody really outside of crypto
• 34:20
that I like within my kind of like social kind of circles talk
• 34:24
about mean coins. And that's very different.
• 34:26
And I do think that's partially a problem because you haven't
• 34:30
seen these kind of like brands like boiled apes or pudgy
• 34:34
Penguins that seem to kind of hit the mainstream.
• 34:37
Meme coins still haven't done that yet.
• 34:39
Even though you have Doge, you have Pepe, you have these
• 34:43
massive meme coins backed by huge public figures, it still
• 34:46
doesn't seem to have actually reached the kind of like social
• 34:49
the the the the norm. Oh man, now he's gone.
• 34:57
  I'm back. Yeah, Sorry.
• 34:58
  Somebody's back. Yeah, yeah.
• 35:00
  That's. OK.
• 35:01
Oh, boy, Good. You know, that's interesting you
• 35:03
say that because what I found now that I've been, you know,
• 35:07
officially in meme coins for four months is when I talk to
• 35:11
like what I would say average people that are like my
• 35:13
contemporaries here in the US, people around my around my age
• 35:18
group, It seems like everybody knows of Doge, right?
• 35:22
Like everybody knows of Doge, but they don't necessarily think
• 35:26
of it as a meme coin or know that it's a meme coin.
• 35:30
Like they know the the brand, I guess you would say, or the name
• 35:34
Doge. And I wonder because you're
• 35:37
bringing up a great point and a lot of people have, have have
• 35:39
said that's something that I can help do because of like my age
• 35:44
and the fact that I'm out here everyday talking is how do we
• 35:48
get more of the mainstream people, you know, the 88% that
• 35:54
don't own meme coins or 95% to come into the meme coin sector.
• 35:59
And I think it's like you talked about earlier, it might have to
• 36:01
do with developing good steady, the reliable brands within the
• 36:07
  memecoin sector. Yeah, for sure.
• 36:11
I also, I think it's partially maybe possible to do it this
• 36:16
  way. Is that what again?
• 36:18
I always go, I do go back to Pudgy Penguins a lot.
• 36:20
But I was speaking to my Co founder the other day about this
• 36:25
and what Pudgy have done with abstract as well in terms of
• 36:29
having kind of like the chain. It is a very, again, I think
• 36:33
very good way to do it because you obviously have account
• 36:37
abstraction, which like lowers the barriers to entry for people
• 36:40
to be able to actually come into the space.
• 36:42
But then on top of what you've actually built as well around
• 36:45
the IP, you can actually on board people into kind of
• 36:49
decentralized finance through the means of a brand.
• 36:54
And I think like if you were looking at like traditional
• 36:57
finance and how they use marketing to attract people to
• 37:03
come and, you know, bank with them or or do anything with
• 37:07
them, save with them, buy property, things like that.
• 37:10
I think the way the definitely the kind of attention economy is
• 37:15
and the kind of zoomers and all these other people, I do think
• 37:18
there's a huge opportunity through defying cryptocurrency
• 37:21
to on board lots of these kind of people into crypto as if they
• 37:26
were coming in instead and actually parking their money or
• 37:30
or, you know, investing in cryptocurrency through kind of
• 37:33
like memes or IPI actually think that's a possibility.
• 37:37
  I think Pudgy Penguins, I don't know if that's kind of Luca's
• 37:39
plan, but just looking at kind of what he's built around the
• 37:43
kind of the brand itself and the fact that they've now got
• 37:46
abstracts on top of that, I think it's quite an interesting
• 37:49
route to go. And there's they're not the only
• 37:51
  ones doing it either. Yeah.
• 37:52
And we are. And right now, Jax, just so you
• 37:55
know, I should have disclosed this to you earlier, but we are
• 37:58
actually streaming on Abstract Local, yeah.
• 38:02
So we're we are. Streaming on abstract, which I'm
• 38:06
excited to do right. We're on, we're on X, we're on
• 38:09
YouTube, we're on LinkedIn, Facebook, but now we're also for
• 38:14
about the last three weeks, we're on abstract as well.
• 38:16
And, and I, I agree with you. You know, the thing that one of
• 38:20
the things that is I learned about crypto over the last four
• 38:23
months that really excited me that you touched on a couple
• 38:26
times is this idea of this being decentralized finance that, you
• 38:32
know, that we are independent there.
• 38:34
There's no, there's no central authority figure that controls
• 38:39
Unicorn fart dust. I think a lot of people look at
• 38:42
me and think, well, you know, the reality is, I guess I'm the
• 38:46
figurehead and I am the developer.
• 38:48
I can't take that, you know, away.
• 38:50
But but the reality is I don't control Unicorn fart dust,
• 38:54
  right? I don't make decisions.
• 38:55
I can't make more more coins. There's a finite number.
• 38:58
They've all been created. And I think that as people
• 39:02
around the world start to realize the benefits of that, of
• 39:06
this decentralized and kind of the fair and level playing
• 39:10
field, that we could get more people coming in as well.
• 39:14
Yeah, definitely. It's, it's been in like a long
• 39:17
time, as I say, since I've started, you know, going into
• 39:20
script. So that was the thing that first
• 39:22
kind of attracted me to it. I was, I was told about Bitcoin
• 39:25
even way before that. But the idea of being able to,
• 39:29
yes, be decentralized away from the central kind of authority or
• 39:33
like, you know, not having to basically rely on having these
• 39:37
third parties look after your funds and having a bit more kind
• 39:40
  of autonomy is really interesting.
• 39:43
I think the only, the only problem that I foresee still at
• 39:46
the moment is that we still haven't made it where it's easy
• 39:50
enough for people to just come in and play.
• 39:53
And there's still this kind of stigma around cryptocurrency,
• 39:56
which I think is fair as well. And that's due to the lack of
• 39:59
regulations of not been there for the last kind of like 10
• 40:02
years. That is changing and obviously
• 40:05
regulations are coming in, but just your, if you want the
• 40:08
average person to come into crypto, they, they are going to
• 40:12
at least want to know that they're protected.
• 40:15
And that's the biggest problem. It we we will attract the
• 40:18
gamblers, we will attract people that just want to speculate and
• 40:22
potentially hit an 100A100X. But the actual people to come in
• 40:27
and trust the system and know that they're not going to lose
• 40:30
their money. If they do lose their money,
• 40:32
that they can actually go somewhere and be, you know,
• 40:34
supported and there's regulation, then it's going to
• 40:38
be hard I think to onboard everybody.
• 40:40
I think this is where like the kind of people that have been
• 40:44
encrypted a long time, there is this yeah, like almost.
• 40:49
I think lots of us don't want to see it happen.
• 40:51
But then if we if we really want to push on and get to the next
• 40:55
level, then it has to happen. And I think that will in turn
• 41:00
really benefit mean coins as well.
• 41:02
Because again, like if, if we can grow brands around Defy and
• 41:08
then have that kind of like marketing power to attract
• 41:12
normal people and you're also regulated, then I think
• 41:15
honestly, we could get to like an incredible point where these
• 41:19
mean coins could become like brands companies and offer all
• 41:23
of these services as well. So, but I think we're, we're
• 41:26
probably still quite a long way off that.
• 41:27
But that's maybe, I don't know. I'd be interested to speak to
• 41:30
people like Luca to find out their kind of strategy and
• 41:32
vision of what they really see, see that becoming with the, you
• 41:36
know, the abstract stuff as well.
• 41:38
  Yeah. Yeah, it's, it's interesting
• 41:40
because you know, based on my experience, again, four months
• 41:44
in crypto, I've learned a lot. And I think what, what, what I
• 41:50
heard you saying and correct me if I'm wrong, is that the defy
• 41:54
component of crypto is something that is very appealing, very
• 41:59
fair. But then there's also maybe some
• 42:01
drawbacks with that as well, because there's like a balance
• 42:05
that needs to be struck with some types of regulation to, to,
• 42:10
to help protect people. If we want the next big wave of
• 42:15
people to come into crypto. Is that, is that a fair,
• 42:18
somewhat fair assessment of of what of what we see going on
• 42:21
  right now? Yeah.
• 42:22
I guess the way that I say is the D5 is kind of like the
• 42:26
backbone that kind of like has grown like pretty much the whole
• 42:29
space in terms of like what's been able to be built through
• 42:32
  these kind of decentralized applications.
• 42:34
And then obviously you also have then social finance now on top
• 42:37
of that where you can build applications that at the same
• 42:39
time. But to get that money in through
• 42:43
these kind of, I guess it's just to get more money into the
• 42:46
space, then it'll probably still need to come through D5 the big
• 42:49
money anyway. But yeah, it's it's yeah.
• 42:52
It's just a very interesting kind of like, in my opinion, way
• 42:57
for us to get new people in new blood in is through being able
• 43:01
to build like lots of stuff off the back of I think IP and
• 43:05
brands, which could be like mean coins, just like like I said,
• 43:09
Pudgy or Bored Apes and people that did the time.
• 43:11
Yeah. You know, I don't know about six
• 43:14
weeks ago the guy, Brian Armstrong, he's the CEO of
• 43:17
Coinbase, He said that Bitcoin is pretty much a meme coin at
• 43:23
this point. He also said the US dollar is
• 43:25
pretty much a meme coin at this point.
• 43:27
So as I look out like with Unicorn, fart dust into the
• 43:31
  future. Do you think?
• 43:33
That that a community driven coin because Bitcoin was a
• 43:37
community driven project basically that that those types
• 43:42
of utilities that you were Speaking of can be can be
• 43:46
created and built from even community initiatives.
• 43:49
Is that within the the spectrum of possibilities?
• 43:53
Yeah, I, I, yeah, I really do believe so.
• 43:58
I think that's why I'm so I'm really, really bullish on mean
• 44:02
  coins. I know that it's it's every
• 44:04
single time that we go through these kind of cycles, right?
• 44:09
So like meme coins really get hit hard.
• 44:12
It's the same with what, you know, NFTS stuff about, but
• 44:14
there's always something every cycle that gets hit hardest and
• 44:17
it's usually meme coins. Everything drops off like you
• 44:20
guys have seen, like, you know, 90%, sometimes even down to 96%.
• 44:25
But the ones that kind of stick around and continue to build and
• 44:29
continue to be serious, kind of reap the rewards.
• 44:32
And that's, that's where I truly think we're at at the moment
• 44:35
with meme coins is that there's, there's this enormous amount of
• 44:38
potential for the ones that stick around and build to be
• 44:42
able to, to grow, to like become much bigger than even the
• 44:45
current meme coins in the space. Because I think the, the ones
• 44:50
like that are already out there at the moment.
• 44:53
They've already built a lot. They have communities that have
• 44:56
kind of grown old and maybe like on still sticking around.
• 44:59
Maybe you have big whales and stuff.
• 45:00
But the, the new ones, the ones that have still the energy to
• 45:04
kind of really push on and build in the next few years, I think
• 45:08
can become absolutely huge. That's honestly what I think.
• 45:11
But it's still very early. That's why I reckon it's, even
• 45:14
though it feels not very early, I think meme coins can.
• 45:17
They'll be around for a very, very long time and the the ones
• 45:20
that do right will do very well. And you know, you, you said
• 45:24
something that, that, that sparked a thought with me is
• 45:27
that like what it feels like right now with UFD is that we
• 45:31
are building the core backbone. You said Defy is the core
• 45:35
backbone, but it was, I think about what's going on with UFD
• 45:38
right now. It feels like we're building
• 45:41
kind of the core backbone of of the coin of the community.
• 45:46
It's kind of hard to put in words, but that when, as it
• 45:49
evolves and as the market gets better, that all types of other
• 45:54
utility, other things can be, can blossom, But that what's
• 45:57
really it's like the foundation, like a really solid foundation
• 46:02
is being built right now. And, and I think it's good for
• 46:05
meme coins in general that we have some good, you know, pudgy
• 46:09
Penguins, UFD, some strong coins that emerge from this to show
• 46:15
that that, you know, meme coins are for real, that this is, you
• 46:18
know, really is a a viable sector and will continue to be a
• 46:23
viable sector. And then a lot of great things
• 46:25
you can. Blossom from these coins and a
• 46:28
lot of great utility. I don't know.
• 46:29
I'm I'm I'm you. You got me thinking, Jack, So
• 46:32
  thank you. Yeah, I know.
• 46:33
It's, it's, yes, what you kind of said, right, is that the D5
• 46:37
pretty much is the foundations because, yeah, but for any of
• 46:40
these kind of mean coins yourselves included, right.
• 46:42
So people come into UFD because they believe in you, they
• 46:47
believe in the project, they believe in the community.
• 46:49
And in that way, people are still speculating, they come in
• 46:53
to buy the UFD token and that's through D5, through all these
• 46:57
kind of decentralized applications to basically put a
• 46:59
bet down that you guys will be around for the long term.
• 47:03
And then off the back of that kind of foundation, you then are
• 47:06
able to build things like social finance applications that might
• 47:12
be games, that might be IP, that might be all of these other kind
• 47:17
of things that you can build on top of it.
• 47:18
That's kind of like that's kind of, I guess the way that I was
• 47:22
  meaning to explain it. Yeah.
• 47:24
Well, you know, and, and, and when I think of D Phi is the
• 47:28
backbone, One of the things that gets me very excited is that,
• 47:33
you know, there are people in Africa, in South America, even
• 47:38
in the United States that maybe can't get a bank account.
• 47:41
They can't, you know, engage, but they can come into UFD if
• 47:46
they have a phone, basically they can come into UFD and be on
• 47:51
equal playing field with me or anybody else that's in UFD.
• 47:56
And to me that that's, you know, the quality that to me, that's
• 48:02
like a quality foundation of people.
• 48:05
And I'm seeing that happening, you know, and that from there,
• 48:09
you know, we've got a guy in the Philippines called the Burger
• 48:11
Man who does incredible things and gives, you know, that I
• 48:15
won't go down that, but that we just have this this foundation
• 48:19
built that will that's on equal. Everybody's equal.
• 48:22
It's fair, it's transparent. And from there we can build.
• 48:26
So Jax, this has been a great conversation.
• 48:29
I really, I really appreciate. You coming on here and talking
• 48:31
with me? Yeah, No, it's been, it's been
• 48:33
great to to come on and chat to you everyone.
• 48:35
I've always, always really appreciate the time with, with
• 48:38
you to speak to you about this stuff.
• 48:39
And yeah, apologies for the technical difficulties for
• 48:43
  everybody as well. So yeah.
• 48:45
Now you've been great and when you when we were popping back
• 48:47
and forth, just so you know, I showed your web page and, you
• 48:52
know, showed a little bit of the video from some of the past
• 48:56
conferences that you've done. I'll encourage everyone to
• 48:58
please go out, go to the meme con web page and if you can go
• 49:02
to the, the, the conference coming up in Lisbon, right.
• 49:06
Is it June 4th through? Yeah.
• 49:08
So I just. I just quickly just give a like
• 49:11
a minute to see Spain as. Much as you need.
• 49:14
Yeah. So the way that Memecon is set
• 49:17
up, we are trying to make this a place for everybody, for every
• 49:22
community across the Memecon space to come hang out and
• 49:26
basically have a good time and also kind of showcase what
• 49:28
you're building, meet new people, meet people that you can
• 49:32
actually help you to build and actually grow your projects as
• 49:35
well at the same time. So we're different from a lot of
• 49:38
different conferences out there. Lots of the big conferences out
• 49:41
there are unattainable to get involved with because they're
• 49:45
very expensive and that excludes a lot of people.
• 49:51
So for us, we, we really try, we're trying to grow it to make
• 49:55
sure that Memecon is going to be the biggest Memecon conference
• 49:57
in the space for that to happen because there really isn't
• 50:01
another one out there. We really need the support of
• 50:03
everybody in the community to get behind this.
• 50:06
So we actually have a place to go and actually chat, meet up
• 50:09
and actually try to do the things we've been talking about
• 50:11
on this conversation. So if you are anybody in the
• 50:14
community at all, if you're an artist, if you're a dev, if you
• 50:18
are a community leader, if you're, if you're anything at
• 50:22
all, we would love you to get in touch with us to get involved.
• 50:26
We can bring you up to speak at Memecon for free.
• 50:29
We've done that on the past conferences as well.
• 50:31
Doesn't matter who you are. And also at the same time, we
• 50:35
have community partnerships. We give away free tickets to the
• 50:38
communities as well who are going to be coming to Memecon.
• 50:41
And yeah, finally, if you did want to get involved in a larger
• 50:45
way, then yes, we do have kind of sponsorship options as well.
• 50:49
But yeah, I guess to finish that off, last year the three events
• 50:54
that we actually did, Lisbon, Singapore and Bangkok, we ended
• 50:57
up having about 15,000 people across all three events.
• 51:00
So it was incredibly successful, but we want to get it to a point
• 51:05
where it's even bigger and we can be competing hopefully with
• 51:09
  the biggest conferences out there.
• 51:10
We think it can happen, but we just need everybody to know us
• 51:13
and also, yeah, support us like we're trying to hopefully
• 51:16
support the rest of the community.
• 51:17
  There you go. Yeah.
• 51:18
Yeah, well, now you are doing a great service to the meme coin
• 51:22
community. So I would encourage everybody
• 51:24
out there if you can or you have an interest or you can attend,
• 51:28
reach out to the people at Mecon.
• 51:30
I've met a few of the other people that are part of your
• 51:32
  organization, very high quality people.
• 51:35
And Jacks, I just want to say thank you.
• 51:38
All right. It's been a great, a great visit
• 51:40
with you. And I'm going to get you again
• 51:42
and I don't know, four to six weeks and see if you can hop on
• 51:45
here. Maybe after, if at the latest
• 51:47
after your Lisbon, you can give us an update on on what you're
• 51:50
feeling and seeing out there. But thanks so much and everybody
• 51:54
who's joined us today, Thank you and I'll be back tomorrow.
• 51:58
Everybody have a great day. Thank you.
• 52:01
  Cheers, Ron. OK, bye.
• 52:02
  Bye. Thanks, Jax.
