- 0:40Speaker 3: welcome to this episode of Cats and Pudding. And today
- 0:44Speaker 3: I have a very good friend, my friend Arama. I'm
- 0:47Speaker 3: gonna say your name wrong, Camporeasi. Did I say it
- 0:49Speaker 3: right close? Camper Resei, Yes, you know what I put
- 0:55Speaker 3: everybody last name. I'm sorry, but I said it pretty close, right, Okay, good,
- 1:00Speaker 3: I was good. I'm like one of those old ladies
- 1:02Speaker 3: who can't pronounce last name.
- 1:03Speaker 2: And we do have hard names though, we really do.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I mean I got some Doozies, I got Delandro and
- 1:09Speaker 3: I got Gucciardo. Like that's so.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Hard to me yeah, but thank you for having me.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I'm so glad to have you here today. So you
- 1:18Speaker 3: know you are you know, you are a sensation on Instagram.
- 1:22Speaker 2: People love you.
- 1:23Speaker 3: They love your your honesty, they love your realness. They
- 1:27Speaker 3: just you know, you're funny, You're approachable. So, you know,
- 1:31Speaker 3: tell us how it all thought it for you.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So everybody knows New York Nico. And he would always
- 1:39Speaker 2: tell me, oh, you know, let me film you, let
- 1:41Speaker 2: me film you, and I would always be like, no, no,
- 1:44Speaker 2: And then one day I did, and it just it
- 1:49Speaker 2: just happened, you know. And then I did a couple
- 1:52Speaker 2: of the things for him, and everything just kept going
- 1:56Speaker 2: on and I did this, I did that, and then
- 1:58Speaker 2: I got more comfortable in front of the camera and
- 2:01Speaker 2: I was able to be myself. And that's what people
- 2:04Speaker 2: like that. I'm honest, I'm real. There are no sugar coating,
- 2:10Speaker 2: you know, I call a spade of space.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Definitely no longe with you are after you came back,
- 2:16Speaker 3: we got to tell the story how you came after
- 2:18Speaker 3: me at the books that Oh my god, so.
- 2:24Speaker 2: You want me to tell it? You could tell it, okay.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So a friend, a mutual friend, introduced us, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 2: through Instagram and we spoke a little bit and you
- 2:35Speaker 2: was supposed to call me for the podcast that was
- 2:37Speaker 2: the last year, right, and you know we're saying it
- 2:40Speaker 2: but jokingly. Yeah, I don't want you to think that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: So anyway, times passed and we happened to be at
- 2:49Speaker 2: a book signing together and I walked in and she
- 2:53Speaker 2: was by the door. Jenny was like hi, and I
- 2:55Speaker 2: was like, you never called me. You're supposed to call me.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I was like, gonna, don't worry, but.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You're like, yeah, I know, I know.
- 3:03Speaker 3: And then Rob was like, oh I know.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Rob Pep was there. Rob's like, oh, I love. Rob's like,
- 3:09Speaker 2: of course you're gonna call you now because you're yelling at.
- 3:11Speaker 3: It was so funny, but it was like it was
- 3:16Speaker 3: it was like we were friends for a hundred years,
- 3:18Speaker 3: but you are right listen. I have to tell you.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I am so busy. I go off the deep end.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I don't even answer my children sometimes when I'm at work,
- 3:26Speaker 3: because not only am I doing this, but I'm running
- 3:28Speaker 3: my businesses, which is and I don't mean to not
- 3:32Speaker 3: answer people, and I mean to go back and get
- 3:34Speaker 3: to them. And I'm like, and I have every intention
- 3:36Speaker 3: of doing it, and then I'm like, fuck, where did
- 3:39Speaker 3: they go?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Like oh where the week?
- 3:40Speaker 3: Oh where the month go? I'm like, oh my god,
- 3:43Speaker 3: I know. And it's not even like that. I you
- 3:44Speaker 3: don't mean to do it to anybody.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's just because sometimes everybody's life, everybody's busy. It's so funny.
- 3:50Speaker 3: But now I make sure I answer you now and
- 3:52Speaker 3: just ask.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's so funny because yesterday when I woke up, I
- 3:59Speaker 2: saw like an extra line on my face and I'm like,
- 4:03Speaker 2: oh my god, I definitely have to go in for somewhere.
- 4:08Speaker 2: So today when I came in, I was like, Jen,
- 4:10Speaker 2: look at this line. Can you tell Let's.
- 4:13Speaker 3: So we'll take care of that. Thank you on next step.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So I'm also working on something called the Love Doctor.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I love it, thank you. So we actually have two
- 4:25Speaker 2: different part of the Love Doctor. One is the Love
- 4:29Speaker 2: Doctor Show where people are going to call in with
- 4:31Speaker 2: their problems and hopefully we can help them, because it's
- 4:35Speaker 2: a hard world out there to find somebody. These dating apps,
- 4:39Speaker 2: everybody's a scammer, they catfish people, they hook.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Well it is this hook option. You can't find a
- 4:46Speaker 3: nice person exactly.
- 4:48Speaker 2: And we are starting We're already gonna have started. I
- 4:54Speaker 2: think I think you already have started, right, Is that
- 4:57Speaker 2: all right? SA?
- 5:00Speaker 3: So sorry mistake on the show.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, we started something called the Dating Game, and people
- 5:08Speaker 2: who are my age know the dating game. You know
- 5:11Speaker 2: the Dating Game, right, and we're gonna do a modern
- 5:14Speaker 2: version of it, same technique though, one contestant, three people.
- 5:22Speaker 2: The first one is going to be a girl with
- 5:26Speaker 2: three guys, and then we're gonna take it from there.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Hopefully we can match up some good people.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Can you.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Can you do a golden batch of one? Because I
- 5:34Speaker 2: want to be definitely definitely gonna do what I'm just
- 5:37Speaker 2: gonna need somebody to host it because I want to
- 5:39Speaker 2: be on it.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'll host the one that you're on, all right, and then.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I'll get you on one too. So we're really excited
- 5:47Speaker 2: about that, and pretty much that's what I've been working on.
- 5:51Speaker 2: This Love Doctor. It just happened. Somebody mentioned it to me,
- 5:58Speaker 2: actually New York Nico said you should the Love Doctor.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I'm like, exactly, what is the love doc? You know?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Because people who know me know for sure I'm very
- 6:07Speaker 2: unlucky in love. But I think that's what makes me
- 6:10Speaker 2: a good love doc though, because you speak the truth, right,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you know, I'm not like, oh my god, I found
- 6:16Speaker 2: my soul me. You know, No, unfortunately it's not there.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It's you're a straight gay and it's that's it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It's just very hard. Like I said, there's a lot
- 6:27Speaker 2: of scam is. I do post that a lot. So
- 6:32Speaker 2: I did a video with Sabino from Growing Up Italian.
- 6:37Speaker 2: We were gonna do like like a test on hinge.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I was gonna record people or whatever. But what happened.
- 6:44Speaker 2: We never got that fart because I saw him in
- 6:47Speaker 2: the street. He asked me about the hinge and the
- 6:51Speaker 2: video just went viral, right, which was good. But so
- 6:55Speaker 2: now on TikTok, I get these messages, you know, and
- 6:58Speaker 2: they're just so oh, message me on telegram and I
- 7:03Speaker 2: want to be your sugar daddy. What sugar daddy? You
- 7:07Speaker 2: can't even write English? You want to be your sugar daddy.
- 7:11Speaker 2: But unfortunately these lonely girls, and not just older people,
- 7:15Speaker 2: young girls too, they get scammed.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Look going out, did you ever did you see that
- 7:19Speaker 3: Netflix show? There's a couple of the one with the
- 7:22Speaker 3: with the guy who scammed all those He was called
- 7:24Speaker 3: the cash the what was it? The I can't remember
- 7:28Speaker 3: the title. But he like basically pretended he was like
- 7:31Speaker 3: this wealthy uh middle Eastern uh uh like prince, and
- 7:37Speaker 3: he got all these women nuts and not stupid women.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm talking about smart women from like from like the Netherlands,
- 7:44Speaker 3: and he like scammed them for all this money. I
- 7:47Speaker 3: don't care how desperate I am. Nobody's robbing my money, man,
- 7:50Speaker 3: you know, on nobody's robbing my shirt, like I'm coming
- 7:53Speaker 3: after your motherfucker. Oh right, but can you imagine like
- 7:57Speaker 3: the hands on Oh yeah, hey, you go, there's a
- 7:59Speaker 3: let me just send you one hundred thousand dollars. Like
- 8:01Speaker 3: this guy was getting like money, not like five hundred dollars.
- 8:06Speaker 3: I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars from these
- 8:08Speaker 3: women I go, and they want because they want love
- 8:11Speaker 3: so bad.
- 8:12Speaker 2: This is so desperate for it, That's what it is.
- 8:14Speaker 2: A lady that I know her front and these people
- 8:18Speaker 2: are educated women, you know, like educated, they're a little older.
- 8:22Speaker 2: And the friend got scammed for fifty thousand dollars. I'm
- 8:25Speaker 2: gonna tell you ten thousand at a time. So you
- 8:28Speaker 2: made the mistake. Once you made it, I mean five times.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Can I say it? She deserves it? She got scammed, bive.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I know, unfortunately that's something I sorry served that call.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Me screwed up. I'm sorry, women, but if you do.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Don't realize something's wrong. I'm at He's like, I'm at
- 8:46Speaker 2: the airport, but they're not letting me through customs and
- 8:50Speaker 2: they froze my bank account. Oh sure, he has ten
- 8:52Speaker 2: thousand dollars. Who does that? See a lot of people,
- 8:56Speaker 2: people who are desperate, and that's what I've been trying
- 8:59Speaker 2: to put out there. Also trying to the red flags
- 9:02Speaker 2: and everything. So we're trying to do a little bit
- 9:05Speaker 2: of everything to help everyone, not just women, men also
- 9:09Speaker 2: because men get scammed too.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Listen, there's a whole show dedicated to scam waters ninety
- 9:15Speaker 3: Day fiance I do their whole caste, and I know
- 9:19Speaker 3: that the shit has happened, that people get scammed all
- 9:22Speaker 3: the time. I mean, it's just it's crazy, and it's
- 9:25Speaker 3: so said.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Because there's so much knowledge on the internet, you know,
- 9:29Speaker 2: going on Google. These people don't care. They just want
- 9:33Speaker 2: they do exactly. Nobody wants to be lonely. They don't
- 9:36Speaker 2: want the truth.
- 9:37Speaker 3: They don't want the truth, they want the fantasy. They
- 9:39Speaker 3: think everything is gonna like a rom com and it's
- 9:41Speaker 3: gonna be a happy ending, and they had climax and
- 9:43Speaker 3: a and a great ending and a whole epiphany and
- 9:47Speaker 3: this whole shit that. It's not like that in the
- 9:49Speaker 3: real world.
- 9:49Speaker 2: You know, some people are lucky to have found their soulmate,
- 9:55Speaker 2: which is a beautiful thing more no than yes in
- 10:00Speaker 2: this world. But so that's really what we're trying to do.
- 10:05Speaker 3: You believe in that?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Do you believe in me? I do nothing for me,
- 10:11Speaker 2: nothing me?
- 10:11Speaker 3: Why not for you?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Because like I told you, I was in too long
- 10:16Speaker 2: relationships and obviously they didn't work and I'll ring on
- 10:19Speaker 2: my finger anymore or whatever. So I'm done with that,
- 10:25Speaker 2: you know, And I make I say this as a joke,
- 10:28Speaker 2: but I do mean it. I don't want to go
- 10:30Speaker 2: on a day because I don't want to know your
- 10:32Speaker 2: favorite color. I don't care. I say it all the time.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't want to know what you
- 10:40Speaker 2: like to eat. I'm at a point in my life
- 10:42Speaker 2: where if it happened, it happens, you know, and it
- 10:46Speaker 2: might happen, well you feel about it, Well, I feel
- 10:50Speaker 2: like this.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I had two I mean, I had two really significant
- 10:54Speaker 3: relationships in my life. I've been in all this, but
- 10:56Speaker 3: I'm at this point of my life. If one of
- 11:00Speaker 3: them works out, it works out. If it doesn't, do
- 11:03Speaker 3: I want to put all that effort into finding somebody
- 11:07Speaker 3: that I have to serve like us, as Italian women
- 11:11Speaker 3: always winds up doing is saying and it's not it's okay.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's a cultural thing,
- 11:17Speaker 3: and I'm okay with it. However, I just don't have
- 11:19Speaker 3: the time to do it like I'm I have Like
- 11:22Speaker 3: I said, I have businesses, I have children, I have
- 11:25Speaker 3: other things that I'm doing. So a guy on the
- 11:28Speaker 3: on the if you're going to stack them up of
- 11:30Speaker 3: what's important, it's my business, it's my children, my business
- 11:33Speaker 3: may and then that person right so, and they might
- 11:36Speaker 3: be existant for the fifth So if the guy is
- 11:39Speaker 3: not going to handle that, and we know Italian men,
- 11:42Speaker 3: if we go after Italian men, they aren't gonna like
- 11:44Speaker 3: that exactly, and then we have a problem.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, so what happens, you know now, I don't even
- 11:49Speaker 2: know if I should be saying this on the air,
- 11:51Speaker 2: but I'm not gonna say it. So when my father died,
- 11:54Speaker 2: my mother was only forty eight right, forty eight four
- 11:58Speaker 2: kids my.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Mother to my mother's fifty two and five kids.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Okay, so you know when I got older, obviously I
- 12:05Speaker 2: was only five, and I said, why didn't you ever
- 12:07Speaker 2: get married again? And she said, for what to have
- 12:10Speaker 2: a man? Tell me what I gotta do, she says,
- 12:13Speaker 2: I get up when I want to get up, I
- 12:15Speaker 2: cook what I want to cook. I go to sleep
- 12:17Speaker 2: when I want to go to sleep. And I was like, wow,
- 12:21Speaker 2: you know, and you're talking a woman who if she
- 12:25Speaker 2: was alive today, she would have been one hundred and three.
- 12:28Speaker 2: So even though she was old school, they would still
- 12:32Speaker 2: have that. They were like, hmm, you know what, this
- 12:35Speaker 2: ain't a bad life without a man, you know. But
- 12:39Speaker 2: I say that because it's true.
- 12:41Speaker 3: There's a reason why they never married again. And it
- 12:43Speaker 3: wasn't because they were so like, oh I can't marry
- 12:46Speaker 3: nobody no more.
- 12:47Speaker 2: There's a reason exactly.
- 12:49Speaker 3: They're smart. They were smart ladies, right.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But there are good guys out there. We just got
- 12:53Speaker 2: to find them girls, and that's what we're gonna do.
- 12:56Speaker 2: On the dating Gabe, reach out to the love Doctor.
- 12:59Speaker 2: We're definitely gonna hook you up.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Well, listen, I know you're gonna find people love. I'm so,
- 13:05Speaker 3: I'm so. I think this is going to be a great,
- 13:08Speaker 3: a great idea. And there's so many people that are
- 13:10Speaker 3: gonna love this because they're gonna want to find other
- 13:13Speaker 3: avenues to find people because this day and age. When
- 13:17Speaker 3: we were, when we were younger, what do we do.
- 13:19Speaker 3: We even met through somebody else. We hung out in
- 13:21Speaker 3: a bar and a club. I ain't going to clubs
- 13:23Speaker 3: no more. I want to go to bed, yes, right,
- 13:27Speaker 3: I said, I don't want to get dressed U by
- 13:28Speaker 3: itime might get dressed up like sh e clock.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I mean now eleven o'clock. I'm like in bed. But
- 13:35Speaker 2: back then it was different. That's how we met.
- 13:37Speaker 3: We went out at twelve o'clock at night. But that's
- 13:39Speaker 3: how we met them. Right, it was different.
- 13:41Speaker 2: It was a different world, you know.
- 13:43Speaker 3: But that's what the problem is now is there's too
- 13:45Speaker 3: many choices. There's too much what's the I'm looking for
- 13:49Speaker 3: too much uh appetite where they could get whatever they
- 13:54Speaker 3: could see, what to muge variety, where they can go
- 13:57Speaker 3: And that's what I feel bad for these kids and
- 13:59Speaker 3: old So they.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Gotta be careful because there's a lot of luntics out there,
- 14:04Speaker 2: you know. I mean you hear stories every people getting
- 14:08Speaker 2: killed on the train, this, that, So you don't know.
- 14:11Speaker 2: When we growing up, it was a little different, you know.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I feel not that I'm saying something couldn't happened.
- 14:19Speaker 3: We were smarter right then, right, we're streets smart, right,
- 14:21Speaker 3: and we went out.
- 14:23Speaker 2: We were a group of people. You always met somebody
- 14:26Speaker 2: there that you knew that was gonna look out for
- 14:28Speaker 2: you or whatever. It was just different.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Well, think about it when I was a kid. I
- 14:32Speaker 3: think about what I did when I was I was thirteen,
- 14:35Speaker 3: going to the fun house, hanging out in Battery Park.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I can't even see my nineteen year old doing that,
- 14:42Speaker 3: like and like, it was such a different time. We
- 14:45Speaker 3: were so much more street spot Like these kids are
- 14:47Speaker 3: smarter technologically smarter, but they're idiots when it comes to
- 14:52Speaker 3: being a street smart. I mean they really they're dumb.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Like I'm like, they have no idea.
- 14:57Speaker 2: They really don't know. Can you drive me?
- 15:00Speaker 3: Can you pick me up? I walked everywhere. My mother
- 15:04Speaker 3: didn't drive. If I was lucky, if I gotta draw,
- 15:07Speaker 3: I said to bribe my brother to drive me somewhere exactly.
- 15:10Speaker 3: You know, we walked everywhere.
- 15:12Speaker 2: In that town.
- 15:13Speaker 3: So it's tough. Yeah, but these kids and that's what
- 15:16Speaker 3: they did. They they're stupid because they don't Sorry, guys
- 15:20Speaker 3: are stupid.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna make you smart.
- 15:24Speaker 3: We're gonna make you, make you, gonna make you smart.
- 15:27Speaker 2: We're gonna find everybody a guy and a girl for sure.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Are you excited to now? You're gonna have like a
- 15:35Speaker 3: limit of an age limit that you're gonna do.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So right now we're working on twenty seven to forty two.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I think that's a good span because you can't do
- 15:43Speaker 2: twenty to thirty. You know, it's you gotta open it up.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And I think if it's if a twenty years old
- 15:49Speaker 2: needs the love doctor, is she better go see what
- 15:52Speaker 2: she's gotta say, because at twenty years old, you should
- 15:55Speaker 2: have ten guys around you. Right.
- 15:57Speaker 3: But you know what, isn't it funny? Because I was
- 15:59Speaker 3: I was looking back at this, I'm like, you know,
- 16:01Speaker 3: the guy, the guy I'm with, the guy I my
- 16:05Speaker 3: last significant other. He's like, Jenny was talking about me.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I don't know whatever we got on the subject, you're
- 16:10Speaker 3: so beautiful now. I was telling him about a girl
- 16:13Speaker 3: that I said she was me Ray twenty years ago
- 16:16Speaker 3: on steroids. He goes, but you know what funny you
- 16:18Speaker 3: and you didn't think you were pretty back then? I said,
- 16:20Speaker 3: but who did?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Who?
- 16:21Speaker 3: I think about it. When you're in when you're young,
- 16:24Speaker 3: you don't think you're you don't think who you are.
- 16:26Speaker 3: You don't have that confidence. Now looking back, I was like,
- 16:29Speaker 3: I was like, shit, I was hot. I was hot, hot, HoTT,
- 16:32Speaker 3: like you know, I pretended like I was all that,
