A new self-published book, “Tom A’Bhungaló,” celebrates Tomás Mac Giolla Bhríghde — a visionary Gaelic activist, entrepreneur, and theatre wizard who transformed Gaoth Dóbhair. Dead at 90 in 2013, his legacy lives on through the industrial estate he helped build, which created thousands of jobs, and the Amharclann Ghaoth Dóbhair, which he founded and nurtured for 75 years.
