- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I knew everybody was worried that we were gonna dry out, so fortunately you got rain all day today and probably a little bit more tonight, and maybe a little bit uh tomorrow.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: But my god, does Saturday look great when we're in Montour Falls?
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: It's perfect.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: It is so perfect.
- 0:12SPEAKER_01: These people get so lucky every single year.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Every year.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: And I'm so glad for it because we're starting the fall festival in Montour right on the main drag at noon.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: There's over a hundred vendors, which I did share on our social.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Then they have all this entertainment, everything from still kicking is performing, they have some Native American dancers.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: They really incorporate everything.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Fall like face painting, balloon animals for your kids, so many kids' activities, and then fireworks at the very end of the night, right over top of the waterfalls.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: How romantic is that?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: People line the uh uh the main street to be able to watch this.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: By the way, I was trying to think about this for a minute.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: We've done either me, you and me, or me, I think I don't know if you've ever done one without me.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: No, I've never done without okay.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Okay, we've been I've been around this Monteur Falls Harvest Festival for literally years now.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: I mean I think it's been like four.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, at least.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: And um, it is one of the best festivals.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: And can I tell you why?
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: You start at noon.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Yes, can I tell you nothing drags me down worse than being like, I gotta be at a flipping tent party at seven in the morning.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Well, noon.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: Noon.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: You can actually take a minute, have a coffee, and then get there and be ready.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: Noon is perfect too because that's lunchtime.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Yes, and I'm ready for Oh, they'll have food.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm ready for all the food trucks, all the sweet treats, everything like that.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: So make sure you're following us on social.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: You can see all of the 100 vendors, which includes the coffees, the foods, and all of that stuff.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Just get yourself out there.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: It's a really, really, really great event.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: I can I can tell you the the food truck I'm going for.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: I've been wanting to try this for a long time.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: They're called Bites and Things, and they do a fried okra.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I haven't had that in years.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I've ever had it.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: But I I I did it years ago on a vacation with my parents, weird enough.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Oh, all right.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Well, anyway, that that's what I want to try.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I have this prank that I want to pull on Zach, but I don't know if it's gonna work because I don't know if he's gonna believe me.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Well, first thing you have to do if you're gonna pull a prank is not look at him with that big stupid poop-eaten grin that you get when you're not telling the truth and you're like, hi, whatever you're about to tell me.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: See, this one can work with the smile.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: So we uh if you didn't know, Zach is a huge football fan.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Big, big football.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: And one thing that we have talked about is the Bills games, tailgating up there.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: His brother lives right in that general area.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's near Orchard Park?
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Uh I mean, he's in Buffalo, so isn't it all relatively close?
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: I'm all right.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I couldn't tell you.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Closer than here.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Close enough to go tailgate and get home.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: You can Uber home or whatever you want to do.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: So, anyway, well, he's talked about the price of the tickets, which we know are six hundred some dollars.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Well, I was looking at the schedule and I was like, oh, okay, so there's like one more game after Christmas.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: Or we have an anniversary that falls in there as well.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: What if I prank him and pretend that I got him Bill's tickets?
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Um Too mean?
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that one's mean, and here's why.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Is he will knowing Zach a little bit, and because he has no ability to uh bow to your every uh not bow to your every desire and whim, um, he will laugh like the good boyfriend that he is.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: He will laugh it off after he realizes the truth, uh-huh, but there's gonna be a little piece of him that's gonna hold that inside and it's gonna be like, huh.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, and that's the sound, the huh.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: But you also have another possibility that could backfire on you.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: What?
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: He could hold that over your head and constantly nag and remind you.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Hey, remember that time you were gonna get me the bills tickets, but it was really just a prank.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: What about this year?
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: What about now?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: What about this?
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: What about that?
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: And you might have to go with that for a while.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, I it he's I know what his reaction's gonna be.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: He's gonna very work work very hard to pretend that he's not upset about it, but he's gonna be very let down on the inside.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: So what you're saying is that.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: No, I don't.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: But you kind of do.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: It seemed like a really good prank when I first came up with it.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: But then I also thought, and you're right, he's such a nice guy.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: When you said the whole thing, like he bows to like every everything that I do, treats me like the queen that I am.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Thank you very much.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Literally jump, and the answer is how high.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: And and now I'm thinking, wait a second, he's too nice for me to pull this prank out of him.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's gonna hurt him a bit inside.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: And here's the problem he won't let you know that.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: So, you know, now you know, and and you're just like, ha, I pulled off a great plank, but great prank, but inside he's died a little bit.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Because you you know how he's died a little bit.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: When he opens up the envelope, I will be smiling.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Now it's gonna be fake because I'm lying.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: I'm a terrible liar.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So that's how I thought.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: I think the only way you could do it is if you actually do get tickets and then shortly after present him with the real tickets.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: In other words, let the prank live for a few minutes because a few minutes.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: It's gonna fester to a full-on rot on the inside that he still won't show you, but he's he'll be deeply hurt.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: You know, though would you let me ask you this.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: I'll put it in perspective for you.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Um get closer.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: He may yes, come on in.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: He may uh he may be the the final in your life, right?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, yeah.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: The answer is yes.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: So what would happen?
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: I already told you my wedding hashtag.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: What would happen if he suddenly sets the mood and now he gets down on one knee and he goes Okay, I see where this is going.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Hey, you want to go to another brewery?
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Instead of popping the ring.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: You will die a little bit on the inside.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: What's mean?
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, and yours was nice?
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: No, but that's really mean.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: Well, you have to put he's a huge football guy, he's a big Bills guy, you're a huge I need to get hitched person.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: So we eventually want to get married, yes.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and eventually he wants to go to a Bills game.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: For real! Oh my god.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: So you have to put it in that perspective.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Now that doesn't just that doesn't just disappoint me.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: That just crushed me inside.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Now you know the exact feeling.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And this is what I'm here for.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: To crush your own.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: That's a great idea.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: Well no, so did I.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: No, it's not.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: So if you if you do this to my Zachary, I will make sure that he does it to you.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: And then it'll be just like the old Zach.
