- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's Fakia Friday.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_02]: Fakia!
- 0:02[SPEAKER_02]: Get ready for some wins!
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: and it's the antidote to fear.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Each week my guess will bring bold, executable, intrinsic, and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and be it until you see it.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's a practice, not a perfect, let's get started.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, be it.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to our Friday episodes.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_02]: Our fuck yeah Friday.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: I do love these.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you do too.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: They're super fun.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're quick.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're easy.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: They make us feel like human beings.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: And they truly are here to help us, you know, do more of what we love and be a Toys yet and in doing that means we're not perfect.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: And so sometimes I think people think, oh, it's so easy for her, you know, blah, blah, blah, or she makes it look so easy.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing is easy in my friends every day.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: There's a new obstacle.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, every day there is some sort of fire to put out.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_02]: There is something going on.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm hoping that with the I need a moment added to this episode.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_02]: And then my win, it's helping you see like,
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: I get pissed off at things too, things don't always go my way as well, because we're all humans just trying to make our way through this world.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: So today's rant is this.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: So I've ADHD and I mean, obviously, you can hear that.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_02]: I've ADHD and I knew that going in and getting to know the ADHD and getting the support for ADHD was like going to be.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's own difficult thing because I hate phone calls.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: I hate Dr. Swimman.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: I hate this stuff.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_02]: And now I have to have a monthly appointment.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: So super excited because one got the appointment.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: Got the medication I needed.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: Went to the second appointment.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: Everything is good.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: It was told I get telemedicine.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: But nominal.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: So excited.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_02]: Then.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_02]: then my doctor moved offices and I had to start all over and I had to go in because I couldn't do tell him I was so with this person because she never met me for 25 minutes through construction to get to her.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: The person at the front desk, do they greet me?
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: They're like, no, go fill out the tablet over there.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, oh, you can fill out the tablet over there.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: So I fill out the tablet that I'm there.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: Super annoying.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_02]: Because then I went to the bathroom and then I'm waiting in the winter room like a person does and then they call me in to do all of my way to my blood pressure and asking all these questions and they're like, okay, we need to go have you do a urine sample.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, but I just went to the bathroom.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: Why didn't your girl who's sitting in the front desk?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: Tell me, don't pee.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm frustrated because with technology being added to these dots was great, okay, maybe it's one less person.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have to stand there and wait while she finished her phone call.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care because now I have to sit there and wait until I have to pee again.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: So I can leave.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just frustrated because it's really hard to get the help you.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_02]: And then when you get the help you need and you're like, man, I nailed it.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_02]: This is gonna be great and easy and make my life easier.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_02]: They go and make your life harder and then they add on to it.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: And so at any rate, being adult is hard.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: And the people who make the rules for people with ADHD don't understand what it's like to have ADHD.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_02]: Like everything about that appointment is more than I, I had to cancel the whole day because I had to do that as I can't.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_02]: I can't do anything else today after this.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: This is too much.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_02]: This is like too stressful, too much of my brain.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: Anyways, I know my HD people.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: I know you feel me.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_02]: I know you get me.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: So what's the with?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: The win that I want to celebrate with you guys this week is that we fostered another dog.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: So if you've been listening to all the FIFs, you've heard me talk about Darla.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think one of them.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: Boston other dog.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to call it the win this week because you know what?
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: it's a lot going on.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: And fostering the stock is a gift.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: I remember the friends episode where Phoebe is like, there's no good.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: There's like no selfless to eat like every deed is like you do every good thing you do is for at least like for selfish reasons.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_02]: 1000% on this case.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: So fostering the stock is so much fun because
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: One, I get this new dog in the house, which is just so fun.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: She's so cute.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: I get to love on her.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_02]: And I get the dog, love from her.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then I get everyone who's like, oh my god, it's so sweet of you to foster.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it is so sweet to get words of affirmation.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_02]: I get to feel like I have so much purpose.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like this, all of a sudden fostering dog has become my way of, oh, I make myself feel so good about myself.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: but you can do that too.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: You can go foster dog and feel so you'll have the same feeling I promise you if you have felt like what's my purpose and life go foster dog.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: You will all of a sudden feel like wow.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: I'm one of the best people on the whole fucking planet.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: So are when this is the second time we're fostering really the wind is by owns because by own got along with her and I first like it looked like she was going to drive by own crazy, but I think she's.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: it's so dumb by your own.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: She's like, I don't know if I like him.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's too much for me.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: But she is cute.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: She's got a great bottle.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully by the time you hear this episode, she's been more than adopted.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, my my goal of this year being a foster dog house is where two now were at two.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: And that's that's the win.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: See, Wednesday, I have a huge they can be that you're like volunteering.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: because as far as though people too.
