- 0:09Speaker 1: Lives up the headquarters.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello, it's high Lost Vegas.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Cut off anyone, Hey, welcome back, Welcome back to his
- 0:36Speaker 1: high Radio, where the Word of God meets real life
- 0:39Speaker 1: in the truth is never softing to fit the culture.
- 0:44Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. We are continuing our walk
- 0:48Speaker 1: through the Book of Acts, and today's episode is titled
- 0:54Speaker 1: When Pride Takes the Throne, God takes it back. You
- 1:00Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about, Well, you will once we
- 1:03Speaker 1: dive into this portion of scripture. We're going to be
- 1:07Speaker 1: in Acts chapter twelve. We're gonna pick it up in
- 1:10Speaker 1: verse eighteen today. Now, so far we've seen the apostle
- 1:16Speaker 1: James martyred. It looks like you lost another one. And
- 1:20Speaker 1: then we see the apostle Peter delivered from King Herod.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Now you know, there's a natural questionnaire. Why would God
- 1:31Speaker 1: save James? I mean saved Peter, but allowed James to
- 1:37Speaker 1: be taken out? That we don't know. Just like Stephen
- 1:43Speaker 1: was the first one, the first martyr for the kingdom,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I believe that martyrs will have a special place in
- 1:50Speaker 1: the Kingdom of Heaven. But now this is just my opinion.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I don't have chapter in verse for you. But my opinion,
- 1:57Speaker 1: maybe because the church prayed for Peter, but the church
- 2:02Speaker 1: did not have the opportunity to pray for James, at
- 2:06Speaker 1: least is not recorded in scripture. We don't have that knowledge.
- 2:11Speaker 1: But I don't know. I mean, we know prayer is powerful,
- 2:16Speaker 1: but I cannot say that that's why James was martyr,
- 2:23Speaker 1: or even Stephan. We don't hear about the church praying
- 2:28Speaker 1: for them. But maybe this is a good reason why
- 2:34Speaker 1: we need to pray for our pastors and leaders. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: don't know. I just want to throw that out there.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I'll leave that up to you to study or to pray,
- 2:44Speaker 1: or if you want to go further than that. But
- 2:47Speaker 1: I just see the story. The difference is that the
- 2:50Speaker 1: church got behind and prayed for Peter, and Peter was delivered.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But of course we know God is sovereign. You know,
- 2:57Speaker 1: Peter had more to do. Possibly God wasn't finished with
- 3:02Speaker 1: him yet. And as we remember, when Jesus appeared by
- 3:07Speaker 1: the sea, he told Peter how he would die, and
- 3:14Speaker 1: so Peter already had the word for that. Maybe that's
- 3:16Speaker 1: why he was able to sleep between the guards. I
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't know. There's a lot there aim in. But now
- 3:26Speaker 1: we're about to see something just as powerful as God
- 3:30Speaker 1: begins to deal with the King. So if you want
- 3:35Speaker 1: to get everything you can out of our podcast, we
- 3:40Speaker 1: asked you to download his hot radio app hi Shop

- 4:51Speaker 1: We ask for your grace. You're mercying your blessing on
- 4:54Speaker 1: this episode today. Let it be sent out, Lord God
- 4:58Speaker 1: as an error to pierce darkness. So God, throughout the world,
- 5:02Speaker 1: Oh God, Oh God, let every ear here, God, Oh Lord,
- 5:06Speaker 1: let every heart be touched, Oh God, draw them by
- 5:08Speaker 1: your holy spirit, Oh God, Oh Lord. When people see
- 5:11Speaker 1: this link, Oh God, on their player or god website
- 5:15Speaker 1: or social media, let them be drawn to it to
- 5:18Speaker 1: click on it. Lord. And I pray God, Lord Lord,
- 5:21Speaker 1: that people will get saved, He'll delivered and set free. God,
- 5:25Speaker 1: we asked you your blessings and that you'll anoint this
- 5:28Speaker 1: episode and Jesus' mighty name. Amen and amen. All right,
- 5:39Speaker 1: well let's jump right into this. We're gonna get the
- 5:47Speaker 1: scriptures up in the new King James, that's where we're
- 5:55Speaker 1: gonna hit you all. All right. Then, as soon as
- 6:10Speaker 1: it was day, there was no small stir among the
- 6:15Speaker 1: soldiers about what had become of Peter. Now, remember Peter
- 6:21Speaker 1: was in prison and Angel released him, and then Peter
- 6:25Speaker 1: went straight to the prayer meeting and then he went
- 6:28Speaker 1: to another place. So Peter is on the run. He's
- 6:31Speaker 1: in hiding at this point. And so remember the Romans
- 6:35Speaker 1: were punished by death if they allow a prisoner to
- 6:40Speaker 1: escape that they are in charge of, that they have
- 6:43Speaker 1: charge over. So this is where we pick up the story.
- 6:50Speaker 1: But when Herod had searched for him and had found him,
- 6:55Speaker 1: he examined the guards and commanded that they should be
- 6:59Speaker 1: put to death, and he went down from Judea to
- 7:04Speaker 1: Cessarrhea and stayed there. Now Herod had been very angry
- 7:10Speaker 1: with the people of Tire and Sighting, and they came
- 7:14Speaker 1: to him with one accord, and having made blast Us
- 7:20Speaker 1: the King's personal aid their friend, they asked for peace
- 7:26Speaker 1: because their country was supplied with food by the King's country.
- 7:34Speaker 1: So on a set day, Herod rayed in royal appail,
- 7:40Speaker 1: sat on his throne and gave an orientation to them,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and the people kept shouting the voice of a god
- 7:49Speaker 1: and not of a man. Then immediately an angel of
- 7:54Speaker 1: the Lord struck him because he did not give glory
- 7:59Speaker 1: to and he was eaten by worms and died. Wow,
- 8:04Speaker 1: that's pretty gross. But the word grew and multiplied, and
- 8:13Speaker 1: Barnabas and Saw returned from Jerusalem when they had fulfilled
- 8:19Speaker 1: their ministry, and they also took with them John, whose
- 8:24Speaker 1: surname was Mark Allelujahly man, all right, well, let's go
- 8:33Speaker 1: and let's break all this down. This is some good stuff,
- 8:37Speaker 1: some interesting stuff, all right. So then as soon as
- 8:42Speaker 1: it was day there was no small stir among the
- 8:45Speaker 1: soldiers about what happened to Peter the Apostle. The apostle Peter.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Now no small stir means absolute panic. There was total
- 8:58Speaker 1: chaos going on here trying to figure out what in
- 9:02Speaker 1: the world happened to Peter the Apostle. Now keep in
- 9:08Speaker 1: mind I just mentioned the Roman soldiers were responsible for
- 9:12Speaker 1: prisoners with their own lives. If the prisoner escaped, the
- 9:18Speaker 1: guards could pay the ultimate price. They could be killed themselves.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Now imagine our police force today if they ran after
- 9:29Speaker 1: a suspect and that suspect got away, and now that
- 9:33Speaker 1: that officer has to pay with his life. I mean,
- 9:36Speaker 1: how many people would sign up to be a cop?
- 9:38Speaker 1: You know what I mean? But man, this is interesting.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure there's probably still places in the world,
- 9:48Speaker 1: maybe in some countries, some military, some armies, or maybe
- 9:54Speaker 1: even during war time, where if they allow prisoners to escape,
- 9:59Speaker 1: maybe they will pay for their lives, pay with their lives.
- 10:02Speaker 1: That's probably still in place, So I just don't know
- 10:05Speaker 1: of the place. But man, now, but this is like
- 10:11Speaker 1: a miracle. You see the hand of God. Now, it
- 10:15Speaker 1: didn't just deliver Peter, but it shook up the whole
- 10:18Speaker 1: political system at the same time. Now, when God moves,
- 10:24Speaker 1: every layer of power will fill it. They felt it
- 10:29Speaker 1: all the way from the king to the soldiers. This
- 10:32Speaker 1: was a mighty miracle of God. And maybe you have
- 10:36Speaker 1: a testimony. Maybe you could share a story of when
- 10:40Speaker 1: God moved in your life so powerfully that everyone felt it,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and so posted in a life chat. We want to
- 10:49Speaker 1: hear from you, all right, verse nineteen. But when Herod
- 10:55Speaker 1: had searched for him and not found him, he examined
- 11:00Speaker 1: the guards and commanded that they should be put to death.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And he went down from Jerusalem to Cessarea and stayed there. Now,
- 11:12Speaker 1: I believe it's interesting how in the word of Gouds
- 11:15Speaker 1: you can hear people going up to Jerusalem, but he's
- 11:20Speaker 1: coming down from Jerusalem. And like we mentioned, as soldiers
- 11:25Speaker 1: paid the ultimate price. Now Harrod's respond to Guy's miracle.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He refused to acknowledge God. He refused to acknowledge that
- 11:38Speaker 1: it was humanly impossible for Peter to escape on his own.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I mean, he had around the clock, soldiers watching him,
- 11:50Speaker 1: and he was chained to them, and all the doors
- 11:56Speaker 1: opening the way they did, the gates and all that.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Now you can only account it to one or two things.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Either it was a miracle by God or his soldiers
- 12:08Speaker 1: betrayed him. But instead of repentance, instead of acknowledging the miracle,
- 12:15Speaker 1: instead of him turning to God, he chose to retaliate.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But Herod couldn't stop God. Even though he chose to
- 12:27Speaker 1: deny him and he chose to kill his soldiers, he
- 12:34Speaker 1: could not stop the hand of God. And so he
- 12:38Speaker 1: decided to punish the people. And this is a clear
- 12:45Speaker 1: picture of pride right here. It always looks for someone
- 12:52Speaker 1: else to blame. Pride does not receive or take accountability
- 12:58Speaker 1: for its own apps actions. Right This is one reasons
- 13:04Speaker 1: one of the reasons why God hates pride so much.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Pride was the original sin that caused Lucider the fall.
- 13:14Speaker 1: This is why we have a devil because of pride.
- 13:18Speaker 1: People operating in pride are looking more like Satan than
- 13:23Speaker 1: they are like God. That's pretty deep. Verse twenty and
- 13:33Speaker 1: twenty one. Now, Herod had been very angry with the
- 13:37Speaker 1: people of Tire and sidon. But they came to him
- 13:41Speaker 1: with one accord, and on a set day, Herod, arrayed
- 13:46Speaker 1: in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an
- 13:51Speaker 1: orientation to them. Now Herod was politically he was an
- 13:58Speaker 1: insecure person. If you read the story of Herod over
- 14:05Speaker 1: in history, this man was a very insecure person in power.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Now tire in siting depended on him economically. They a
- 14:17Speaker 1: would get their food and self and their supplies from
- 14:21Speaker 1: King Herod. Now this was a straight power move. This
- 14:28Speaker 1: was a stage that he sat on in a performance
- 14:32Speaker 1: that he gave. Now, Herod, he didn't just sit on
- 14:36Speaker 1: a throne. He played the role. He had royal robes,
- 14:42Speaker 1: He gave a public speech, and all eyes are on him.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Where have you heard that before? All eyes on me? Right,
- 14:52Speaker 1: this was straight pride. He just he just wanted. He
- 14:56Speaker 1: was just basking in it. He thought he deserved all this.
- 15:01Speaker 1: But the whole point here is the fact that God
- 15:04Speaker 1: was watching him as well. Just says, God is watching
- 15:08Speaker 1: our every move. You know that there's there are books
- 15:11Speaker 1: being written about our lives. Our thoughts are intense, our emotions,
- 15:17Speaker 1: our emotions, everything we say or do, books are being written.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Let us make our book a happy ending. Amen. Now
- 15:29Speaker 1: verse twenty two. And people kept shouting the voice of
- 15:35Speaker 1: a God and not of a man, the voice of
- 15:38Speaker 1: a God and not of a man. If anybody shouts that,
- 15:43Speaker 1: you need to shut them down immediately. Now here's the danger.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Herod accepted the worship. He didn't shut him down. He
- 15:54Speaker 1: didn't stop it. It said that they kept shoutings. And
- 15:57Speaker 1: who knows how long this No, we can in our
- 16:03Speaker 1: western minds right as we read this, we can think
- 16:05Speaker 1: it was five minutes or so. This could have been
- 16:10Speaker 1: five or six hours of this. Like, we don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 1: This guy was sitting here drinking this up. But what
- 16:19Speaker 1: we do know is that, unlike Peter, Peter refused to
- 16:25Speaker 1: be worshiped. And remember when the centurion called for him, Connelius,
- 16:31Speaker 1: he bowed down and worship Peter, a powerful man of
- 16:36Speaker 1: God moving in the Holy Spirit. Peter said, no, I'm
- 16:40Speaker 1: a man just like you. And even the apostle Paul,
- 16:45Speaker 1: we're gonna read that people tried to worship him and
- 16:48Speaker 1: he ripped his clothes. He said, do not do it.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And when we read about the godly angels, even I'm
- 16:58Speaker 1: thinking about John in the Book of revelation, John fell
- 17:02Speaker 1: down to worship the Angel and the English says, no,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I am just like your fellow brethren. Right. He refused it,
- 17:09Speaker 1: but Herod does nothing to stop the worship. Now, I
- 17:19Speaker 1: think it was more tongue in cheek to be honest
- 17:22Speaker 1: to worship because, like we read, these people were probably starving.
- 17:29Speaker 1: They would probably do anything to get their supplies or
- 17:32Speaker 1: to get back on Herod's good side. They wanted political favor,
- 17:38Speaker 1: and back then the emperors and kings considered themselves to
- 17:42Speaker 1: be gods. They considered themselves to be the ultimate authority.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And when you have absolute power, you have absolute corruption.
- 17:51Speaker 1: We as the human race cannot handle power like that.
- 17:57Speaker 1: We need to submit and always being subjection to God.
- 18:03Speaker 1: God is the only one that can handle the power,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and we lean on him to do his will in
- 18:11Speaker 1: every area. As the leader of my house, or leader
- 18:16Speaker 1: supervisor at work, or if you have a business or
- 18:19Speaker 1: a ministry. It should always be submitted over to God
- 18:27Speaker 1: and man so that we don't get corrupted and think
- 18:30Speaker 1: that we are the final authority. Right now, Herod was
- 18:36Speaker 1: receiving something that belonged to God. Pride doesn't need to speak.
- 18:44Speaker 1: His silence was enough for God to judge him twenty three.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because
- 18:58Speaker 1: he did not give God glory to God, and he
- 19:02Speaker 1: was eaten by worms and died. Man, that sounds grotesque, wow,
- 19:12Speaker 1: Like immediately eaten by what you would think. You know,
- 19:18Speaker 1: when people pass away, we go to their funerals, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: when it's an open casket, they're not eating up by
- 19:25Speaker 1: worms that fast. This had to been a miraculous thing
- 19:31Speaker 1: to be eaten by worms. And he was eaten by
- 19:34Speaker 1: worms before he died, like it says, he was eaten
- 19:39Speaker 1: by worms and he died after that. God knows how
- 19:47Speaker 1: to judge man, hallelujah. You know, the fear of the
- 19:51Speaker 1: Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And we can see
- 19:54Speaker 1: right here. Why Amen, Now another an angel freed Peter
- 20:02Speaker 1: earlier in this chapter, and an angel judge Herod just now,
- 20:12Speaker 1: same authority, and we don't know. The Bible doesn't tell
- 20:15Speaker 1: us whether or not it's the same angel, but different outcomes. Now,
- 20:28Speaker 1: I want angels working on my side and not against me. Amen, hallelujah.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We need to stay in God's favor. Now. This judgment
- 20:45Speaker 1: wasn't random. This judgment was not overly cruel. This judgment
- 20:55Speaker 1: was righteous. You see, God is patient, beloved, but he
- 21:03Speaker 1: will never share his glory. There's one thing that scriptures
- 21:08Speaker 1: say over and over again. His glory belongs to him
- 21:13Speaker 1: and him alone. Hallelujah. We would be wise to make
- 21:19Speaker 1: sure he gets all of it. You see deliverance for
- 21:24Speaker 1: the humble, which was Peter, judgment for the pride, which
- 21:30Speaker 1: is King herod. But the word of God grew and multiplied.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Now King's fall can persecutors die, but God's word keeps
- 21:45Speaker 1: moving a man. That's one of the most important things
- 21:52Speaker 1: in emphasis if you haven't noticed yet about his hot nation,
- 21:57Speaker 1: and it might be. One of the things that separate
- 22:00Speaker 1: rates our gospel hip hop ministry from others is that
- 22:07Speaker 1: we put our emphasis on the word of God. We're
- 22:11Speaker 1: not interested in entertaining. We're not trying to make it
- 22:15Speaker 1: in the music industry. We're making our own lane. But
- 22:21Speaker 1: the Word of God is priority. We hold up a
- 22:27Speaker 1: standard here of holiness, and we try our best with
- 22:32Speaker 1: the power of the Holy Spirit, to screen and to monitor,
- 22:36Speaker 1: to filter out all the compromise. Right, we don't need
- 22:41Speaker 1: the world. We don't want the world. We don't need
- 22:44Speaker 1: the enemy all we need is for God to make
- 22:47Speaker 1: the lane for us. That's why we were the first
- 22:51Speaker 1: Christian club in Las Vegas. Yeah was not a you know,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I guess business wise, we did so many free shows.
- 23:03Speaker 1: We are not in it to get rich and famous,
- 23:05Speaker 1: but we were in it to see the Word of
- 23:08Speaker 1: God moves. You cannot stop the word after we are
- 23:11Speaker 1: long gone. The word will still remain here. And the
- 23:15Speaker 1: word is what's going to impact people more than anything else.
- 23:20Speaker 1: We could have created a podcast about how to get
- 23:24Speaker 1: rich and how to make money and how to work
- 23:27Speaker 1: over time, or how to do all this stuff, But
- 23:30Speaker 1: the most valuable thing that people need is the Word
- 23:35Speaker 1: of God. To understand the Word and to apply the word,
- 23:41Speaker 1: not just to be here's other word, but to be
- 23:43Speaker 1: doers of the word and to be discipled. People need
- 23:50Speaker 1: that accountability to really make it into the kingdom. And
- 23:54Speaker 1: so the Word of God will continue to move once
- 23:58Speaker 1: mister h hiss Hop is long gone. My hope and
- 24:02Speaker 1: prayer is that people will still be able to gain
- 24:06Speaker 1: value and follow along to these podcasts as we walk
- 24:11Speaker 1: through the Bible. Verse by verse Amen. Now this verse
- 24:18Speaker 1: preaches by itself, herod died, the Word lived Governments rise
- 24:25Speaker 1: and governments fall. Movements will fade away, But the word multiplies. Amen.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Think of how many movements that have faded. Think of
- 24:39Speaker 1: how many celebrities that have come and gone over the years.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Think of how many governments that has risen and fallen.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But the Word of God is the only thing that
- 24:51Speaker 1: is consistent and that keeps multiplying. Amen, All right, Verse
- 24:58Speaker 1: twenty five. And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when
- 25:02Speaker 1: they had fulfilled their ministry, and they also took with
- 25:07Speaker 1: them John, whose surname is Mark. And so now Paul
- 25:12Speaker 1: is going to be one of the main characters in
- 25:15Speaker 1: the Book of Acts as we continue to go. Now,
- 25:24Speaker 1: while Herod the King falls, God continues to build leaders
- 25:34Speaker 1: with Barnabas, with Saul, and with John's surname Mark. God
- 25:43Speaker 1: doesn't pause his mission because of opposition. He advances it.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Here we see new leaders, new assignments, going into new territories,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and it's going to be awesome. Harrod is off the scene,
- 26:04Speaker 1: but here comes the apostle Paul. All right, time for
- 26:10Speaker 1: a break.
- 26:12Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 26:16Speaker 3: is the hiss hop radio show.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Why don't I see you. Why did I feel you
- 26:27Speaker 4: like I used to God? I'm tired of this God,
- 26:29Speaker 4: I'm tired of it. I prayed for all these people.
- 26:32Speaker 4: If they don't pray for me, tsh, I can't do
- 26:44Speaker 4: this though more h.
- 26:57Speaker 2: God on God said I'm gonna trouble a load of me.
- 27:00Speaker 1: One touch got me free up.
- 27:01Speaker 3: You set a prayer to for give me and my sins.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That's when he just.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Forgot about them. I just like as I was he
- 27:07Speaker 2: and that was last winning. I crossed over at your boundaries,
- 27:09Speaker 2: but you still came and you found me.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I felt like he don't win.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I lived to see trouble alund the.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Brown me, But you don't want to care me from
- 27:16Speaker 1: Chela ship.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Hey, I know you didn't beat your whole child whenever

- 29:00Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 29:04Speaker 3: is the His Hop Radio show.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Right all right, we are back from the break that
- 29:27Speaker 1: was our brother Mike Teazy with lay your hands on
- 29:31Speaker 1: me right here live on the his Hot radio podcast.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'm your brother, I'm your host, mister h his Hop
- 29:39Speaker 1: and I want to thank y'all for tuning in and
- 29:43Speaker 1: spending time with us. Make sure you heading over to
- 29:46Speaker 1: the live chat. Download that app h I s Hop
- 29:50Speaker 1: on all platforms and come and say hi. I want
- 29:55Speaker 1: to give a shout out to our brother's own three
- 29:58Speaker 1: also to our brother care Rent from stopping into the
- 30:02Speaker 1: community seeing what's up in the live chat. They want
- 30:05Speaker 1: to say what's up to y'all as well as y'all
- 30:09Speaker 1: show us some love. So show that love, spread that
- 30:12Speaker 1: love around and as we do so, it's time for
- 30:16Speaker 1: the accountability partner segment. The accountability partner. We are here
- 30:25Speaker 1: to help each other. Stay on that narrow path. It's
- 30:30Speaker 1: easy to go astray, it's easy to get back on
- 30:32Speaker 1: that broad road. You know, we are our worst enemies.
- 30:37Speaker 1: We have to exercise self control. We need this spirit.
- 30:44Speaker 1: We need a spirit of self control so that we
- 30:49Speaker 1: can conquer our flesh all the things that we have
- 30:54Speaker 1: to battle. Amen. And so that's why we need to
- 30:57Speaker 1: be subject to projected to accountability. Right. We need to
- 31:03Speaker 1: submit to one another. It's good to have a mentor
- 31:07Speaker 1: someone who has the authority to correct you, to speak
- 31:11Speaker 1: truth to you, and someone to pray with you. Then
- 31:15Speaker 1: you need to go find someone that you can pour into.
- 31:19Speaker 1: You know, you're supposed to have a Pall and a
- 31:21Speaker 1: Timothy that you can minister with in a barnardas someone
- 31:26Speaker 1: that's equal to you, that you can kind of hang
- 31:28Speaker 1: out with and rub elbows with. You know what I'm saying.
- 31:32Speaker 1: And so this is a healthy structure and a healthy
- 31:36Speaker 1: way to keep your spiritual life growing. Amen. Now, if
- 31:44Speaker 1: you want to go further in it. You can as
- 31:48Speaker 1: you download this our radio app, hit that top le menu,
- 31:52Speaker 1: click on my podcast, click on podcasts. It's our radio podcasts,
- 31:56Speaker 1: and look for the Economy of the Accountability part link
- 32:01Speaker 1: and you can just fill out the questions there. You
- 32:04Speaker 1: can request to follow up and someone from our team
- 32:08Speaker 1: get in touch with you and pray for you. And
- 32:11Speaker 1: we also give you daily challenges right here on the podcast.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And so you can find this in a life chat
- 32:17Speaker 1: if you want to read it later or pick it up.
- 32:21Speaker 1: We'll probably find an area on the website. Yeah, that's
- 32:25Speaker 1: what we're gonna do. We're gonna find an area in
- 32:27Speaker 1: a website too where where you can look it up
- 32:29Speaker 1: later if we would like to look it up and
- 32:32Speaker 1: find it. Amen. So, the accountability partner is who speaks
- 32:39Speaker 1: truth into your life when pride tries to arise. Who
- 32:45Speaker 1: speaks truth into your life when pride tries to arise.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Unchecked influence leads to unchecked ego. Right. We saw that
- 32:57Speaker 1: with Herod, accountability keeps us grounded. Even kings need to
- 33:04Speaker 1: be corrected. Let's say that again, Even kings need to
- 33:11Speaker 1: be corrected, Amen, Islelujah. Also, we want you to know
- 33:19Speaker 1: that his Hot Radio is a monitored in a reporting
- 33:23Speaker 1: radio station. We report to the charts. Even the app itself,
- 33:29Speaker 1: it is a radio app. We can chart you on
- 33:31Speaker 1: our app. You can become number one on the his
- 33:37Speaker 1: Hot Radio app itself. If you would like to submit
- 33:40Speaker 1: music to us, all you have to do is go
- 33:42Speaker 1: to our website his hot nation dot com. And also
- 33:49Speaker 1: all you have to do is download that app Hi shop.
- 33:54Speaker 1: You can submit music on both platforms, build out all
- 33:58Speaker 1: the info and sing your music. Are way all right, everybody,
- 34:05Speaker 1: It's time to head on over to the live chat
- 34:09Speaker 1: if you're not there already, because it's trivia time. We
- 34:13Speaker 1: have a question now. The first person to answer the
- 34:17Speaker 1: question wins the trivia four today. All right. The question
- 34:25Speaker 1: is which two men return to Antioch at the end
- 34:30Speaker 1: of Acts Chapter twelve? Which two men return to Antioch
- 34:39Speaker 1: at the end of Acts twelve, God is setting the
- 34:48Speaker 1: stage for a missionary movement. That's a hint once again,
- 34:53Speaker 1: who are the two men who return to Antioch at
- 34:58Speaker 1: the end of Acts? Well? Also, we have a memory
- 35:07Speaker 1: a Bible memory game. You know, we like games, like
- 35:11Speaker 1: to have fun. It's on the app. Go to the
- 35:14Speaker 1: top left menu, click the drop down, go to a
- 35:19Speaker 1: game night on the menu and you can see the
- 35:23Speaker 1: new game there. It'll help you memorize scripture. Just something
- 35:28Speaker 1: like a little personal challenge. I think there's thirty scriptures there.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Just keep keep playing it until you get all the
- 35:34Speaker 1: scriptures memorized, and let us know in a live chat
- 35:40Speaker 1: if you're gonna if you're playing or checking out the
- 35:43Speaker 1: new game. Also, community shout out if you have an event,
- 35:51Speaker 1: if you have something coming up, let us know. Uh,
- 35:56Speaker 1: we actually want to get out in the community and
- 35:59Speaker 1: start passing out flyers for our Raffle knocked on doors.
- 36:07Speaker 1: If there's any one available to help us do this.
- 36:11Speaker 1: It's a fundraiser for our organization. But also somebody can
- 36:16Speaker 1: be blessed with twenty five hundred. Somebody in our community
- 36:22Speaker 1: could also win some finances. So hit us up if
- 36:33Speaker 1: you want to do that, or if you want to participate.
- 36:35Speaker 1: You gotta be a Nevada resident to actually participate, but
- 36:40Speaker 1: you don't have to be in Nevada. Let's say if
- 36:43Speaker 1: I met you on the strip and you bought some
- 36:45Speaker 1: tickets and then you went back to California, you can
- 36:48Speaker 1: still win, but you have to be in Nevada to
- 36:51Speaker 1: purchase the tickets. I don't know. I guess does that
- 36:55Speaker 1: count if you buy them off our website because we're
- 36:57Speaker 1: in Nevada base I don't know. I gotta go some
- 37:00Speaker 1: of the rules. It's a a company that we're going
- 37:06Speaker 1: through and keep everything safe and on the up and up.
- 37:11Speaker 1: It's a company that we're going through to hold our raffle.
- 37:13Speaker 1: We have been improved with the Nevada Gaming Board to
- 37:17Speaker 1: be able to host these games and stuff. So we
- 37:20Speaker 1: want to bless somebody with twenty five hundred and last,
- 37:28Speaker 1: but not least, our nonprofit spotlight. His Hot Nation, Incorporated
- 37:35Speaker 1: is a five oh one c three a nonprofit organization.
- 37:38Speaker 1: If you would choose to support us by donating finance
- 37:42Speaker 1: or like kying donations. If you have a service you
- 37:45Speaker 1: would like to offer, it is tax deductible, get you
- 37:50Speaker 1: can write it off. We are definitely good ground and
- 37:55Speaker 1: we appreciate it. Just request a receipt at the end
- 37:59Speaker 1: of the year and get that to you and donate
- 38:02Speaker 1: on our website, his hot nation dot com, or on
- 38:06Speaker 1: the app, his Hot Radio on all platforms. All right,
- 38:14Speaker 1: that's my time, y'all. We're gonna have some closing reflections
- 38:18Speaker 1: in an altar call. Now. This episode asked a question
- 38:25Speaker 1: who gets the glory for your life? Who truly gets
- 38:32Speaker 1: the glory for your life? As either God or it's satan.
- 38:43Speaker 1: God will lift the humble, but God will resist the proud.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Choose humility and give God the glory and let the
- 39:00Speaker 1: Word multiply through you. Be one of the channels that
- 39:08Speaker 1: the Word can move through King's fall. But the Word
- 39:15Speaker 1: of God keeps growing. Amen. And if you feel that
- 39:21Speaker 1: you're dealing with pride, I want you to say this
- 39:24Speaker 1: prayer with me. Oh, Heavenly Father, I come before you,
- 39:32Speaker 1: and I believe that we all deal with pride to
- 39:34Speaker 1: some degree. But Father, I ask for forgiveness. Father, I
- 39:41Speaker 1: choose to humble myself, and I choose to forsake all
- 39:45Speaker 1: pride that is in my heart, my mind, my emotions,
- 39:50Speaker 1: and my thoughts. Forgive me for my independence and my
- 39:55Speaker 1: lack of submission and allowing pride to control all my life.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I don't want to be prideful anymore. Oh God, help
- 40:05Speaker 1: me to remain humble before you. Help me to make
- 40:09Speaker 1: sure that you give get all the glory. And forgive
- 40:13Speaker 1: me if I have taken credit for your work in
- 40:17Speaker 1: my life. Forgive me for every time that I've touched
- 40:21Speaker 1: your glory. Please restore me, renew me, make me over again,
- 40:30Speaker 1: and wash me by your blood. In Jesus name, we
- 40:35Speaker 1: pray Amen. And this is why we say it's not
- 40:41Speaker 1: about us, It's all about the Christ. And that's God bless.
- 40:56Speaker 4: You.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This is
- 41:00Speaker 3: the His Hop radio show.
