- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well, it is day one of 36 years of life.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Yesterday we turned 35, so basically that closed the book
- 0:15Speaker 2: on 35 years of living. Now we're into year 36.
- 0:18Speaker 2: But being 35, I've modernized a lot of different things,
- 0:22Speaker 2: including finally making this a resume booster. You know, For
- 0:29Speaker 2: 14 years, this has sort of been seen as a hobby.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I don't want to say as a joke, but as
- 0:34Speaker 2: like something that may not sustain. Well, here we are,
- 0:38Speaker 2: 14 years later, and because I've been recognized by the
- 0:43Speaker 2: Digestive Disease National Coalition, United Ostomy Association, for full transparency,
- 0:49Speaker 2: when I made that trip to D.C.
- 0:50Speaker 1: In 2025, I did get a $ 750 stipend.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So really, that was one of the first things that.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I saw that this show was giving value to people
- 1:02Speaker 2: and those with disabilities and adaptive stories and all that,
- 1:07Speaker 2: and adaptive athletes even. We'll get into that in a second. Then,
- 1:12Speaker 2: of course, being recognized by the IdeaSpark, the Disability Entrepreneurship Institute,
- 1:22Speaker 2: thanks to the Viscardi Center, my alma mater, and Iona,
- 1:26Speaker 2: that grant really started to continue to show me that
- 1:30Speaker 2: this show would be recognized. Of course, the affiliate sponsorships
- 1:34Speaker 2: we've had over the years, and not to brag, but
- 1:38Speaker 2: making over $ 1, 000 for Fanatics has really shown that this
- 1:43Speaker 2: podcast can do something. Now, albeit, some of it is
- 1:46Speaker 2: because I would buy from Fanatics and get commission back,
- 1:50Speaker 2: but so be it. We've been partners with Fanatics, and
- 1:54Speaker 2: that manifested itself this year as the first adaptive athlete,
- 1:59Speaker 2: and the little monetary gift that came with that. Um,
- 2:05Speaker 2: thanks to Justin Bieber. So this show has value. And
- 2:08Speaker 2: I think it was time to really write it down
- 2:11Speaker 2: and say, I am the founder of one leg up
- 2:14Speaker 2: Alex media. It started as covering the bases with Alex Garrett,
- 2:17Speaker 2: keep it real with Alex Garrett, uh, Alex Garrett podcasting
- 2:23Speaker 2: adapted with adapting with Alex and one leg up with
- 2:27Speaker 2: Alex Garrett. Now it is, One leg up Alex Media.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And there is an adaptive nature to that as well.
- 2:34Speaker 2: How the name has changed. And now I'm just saying
- 2:38Speaker 2: I founded this. I am the owner of this. And
- 2:41Speaker 2: maybe that will put it out there to gain more sponsorships.
- 2:44Speaker 2: More opportunities. More possibilities to grow this show. And one
- 2:50Speaker 2: of those possibilities, Ryan Pagano, is top host. Do you
- 2:54Speaker 2: know right now I am sixth in my group in
- 2:57Speaker 2: the top host running. I talked about this last week.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But I'm announcing it today. We have a chance to
- 3:02Speaker 2: keep going. And your vote counts. Not once, but twice
- 3:08Speaker 2: for a limited time only. I mean, this ad alone
- 3:12Speaker 2: should get me on iHeartRadio's radar. But no, we are
- 3:16Speaker 2: full-fledged promoting this on my brands, AlexGNYC1, on my Facebook,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and now here at my podcast. Vote now. It counts twice.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Thanks to those who have donated to the cause and actually...
- 3:30Speaker 2: pumped up the voting, and like my friend Louis T,
- 3:36Speaker 2: thank you so much, Louis, for that, but for those
- 3:38Speaker 2: out there who just want to keep pushing this forward,
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm going to drop the link in the podcast below,
- 3:44Speaker 2: in the description below, to help me become top host.
- 3:48Speaker 2: With that comes six podcast episodes with iHeartRadio Podcasts, and
- 3:54Speaker 2: of course, a hit with Ryan Seacrest, and a little
- 4:00Speaker 2: bit of a cash, you know, reward of $ 25, 000 to
- 4:08Speaker 2: really keep promoting one leg of Alex media. I mean, look,
- 4:12Speaker 2: all of this would be incredible and I'm in the running. So,
- 4:15Speaker 2: so vote right now. The vote is counted twice. So
- 4:20Speaker 2: that's how I'm starting year 35 is to say, keep
- 4:23Speaker 2: voting and maybe recognizing this and owning this as a
- 4:28Speaker 2: brand and We'll put that energy forward to keep growing
- 4:31Speaker 2: this thanks to being already seen by fanatics and being
- 4:37Speaker 2: seen by the Disability Entrepreneurship Institute and by UOAA and
- 4:43Speaker 2: the Digestive Disease National Coalition. And right here at 970,
- 4:46Speaker 2: I mean, all the shows. Of course, Lucas Farrar always
- 4:49Speaker 2: promotes One Leg Up with Alex Garrett. And you got
- 4:52Speaker 2: Arthur having me on as basically his sidekick along with Joni.
- 4:58Speaker 2: over 6.15 to 7.15 nightly. So there's a lot going
- 5:02Speaker 2: on on the radio side. But yes, this is important.
- 5:06Speaker 2: If you help me get to this, I will make
- 5:08Speaker 2: sure those six episodes are dedicated to adaptability stories, adaptive stories.
- 5:14Speaker 2: And if you want more information on that, let me
- 5:17Speaker 2: drop that link to the entire Adaptability with Alex Garrett
- 5:20Speaker 2: collection in the description below. But the promotions aren't done
- 5:25Speaker 2: there yet because I just found out today J.J. McCarthy
- 5:31Speaker 2: is QB1 for Sunday with the Giants, and for the
- 5:35Speaker 2: first time, I was able to sell a Topps card.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I had mentioned this a while ago, that Topps was
- 5:42Speaker 2: bought out by Fanatics, and now I can sell Topps
- 5:45Speaker 2: cards in addition to all the jerseys, and I've got
- 5:49Speaker 2: a brand spanking new J.J. McCarthy in Giants thread card
- 5:53Speaker 2: that I want you to buy as well. That's in
- 5:55Speaker 2: the description below. And then, of course, for my birthday tick-pick,
- 5:59Speaker 2: giving me $ 10 credit, which is just so special. I mean,
- 6:02Speaker 2: it couldn't help me get into the garden last night
- 6:04Speaker 2: because that was $ 10 minus off, you know, a $ 1, 900 ticket.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But it was a nice gesture, and I'll be using
- 6:12Speaker 2: it in other games moving forward. But I want you
- 6:15Speaker 2: to be part of that magic as well with TickPick.
- 6:18Speaker 2: The link below is my referral link. And, yeah, enjoy
- 6:25Speaker 2: any sporting event, any concert, service fee free. eliminated so
- 6:30Speaker 2: that's why they're special is they stand out and they
- 6:32Speaker 2: have one leg up on the marketplace because they eliminate
- 6:35Speaker 2: the service fees not many others can do that so
- 6:38Speaker 2: uh or any of them for that matter so just
- 6:41Speaker 2: use my link for ten dollars off of your next
- 6:44Speaker 2: event um using my promo one last thing because paypal
- 6:51Speaker 2: keeps reminding me hey if you join me on paypal
- 6:54Speaker 2: There's a referral link there, so I'm going to drop
- 6:57Speaker 2: that link also today. It's a day of promotion. I
- 7:00Speaker 2: always call this, ironically enough, I call this Referral Wednesday.
- 7:05Speaker 2: So here it is, back again with all my links
- 7:07Speaker 2: in the description below. A lot to promote. Top host,
- 7:12Speaker 2: still in the running for that. The J.J. McCarthy card
- 7:16Speaker 2: is looking pretty damn good, and he'll be the QB1
- 7:20Speaker 2: for the Giants. That link is in the description below. And,
- 7:24Speaker 2: of course, TickPick and other things that I want to
- 7:28Speaker 2: promote in the description below because it is Referral Wednesday
- 7:31Speaker 2: here at One Look Up Alex Media, taking care of
- 7:34Speaker 2: some businesses, as we like to say. And so, yeah,
- 7:39Speaker 2: join us wherever you find us on Spreaker, Spotify, iHeartRadio. Okay,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I have a podcast, iHeartRadio, but this would really elevate
- 7:47Speaker 2: the brand even more. That's why I'm in the running
- 7:50Speaker 2: and why I wanted to get involved with the top
- 7:55Speaker 2: post space and maybe make waves there as well so
- 7:59Speaker 2: there you go and one last thing one last thing
- 8:03Speaker 2: Aaron Boone another year as manager we knew this was
- 8:09Speaker 2: going to happen we all knew this was going to
- 8:11Speaker 2: happen and I don't know if I want to go
- 8:18Speaker 2: into the press conference with Hal and Brian Cashman and Boone,
- 8:23Speaker 2: because I personally know all of them. And I almost
- 8:27Speaker 2: feel like Michael Kay in that regard. Like, you know,
- 8:29Speaker 2: can you really criticize them since you know them, since
- 8:31Speaker 2: you kind of have been part of that family forever?
- 8:36Speaker 2: But some of the responses today were kind of out there.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And look, I think he ends up in a very
- 8:44Speaker 2: hot seat. His option's up at the end of next year.
- 8:50Speaker 2: But What we've seen with the Phillies and the Red Sox,
- 8:55Speaker 2: not so much the Mets until it was too late
- 8:57Speaker 2: because they fired Mendoza like in June. But what we've
- 9:00Speaker 2: seen is these guys are always in the hot seat.
- 9:04Speaker 2: So I would assume and presume that this guy, Aaron Boone,
- 9:08Speaker 2: in his 10th season would be in the hottest seat possible.
- 9:13Speaker 2: You know the media is going to be on him
- 9:15Speaker 2: from the very beginning of this year because a lot
- 9:18Speaker 2: of people didn't think he should come back, to be
- 9:19Speaker 2: very frank with you. And I know that, and we
- 9:25Speaker 2: all know that the Yankees love Aaron Boone just like
- 9:27Speaker 2: they love Brian Cashman. And I cannot complain about Cashman.
- 9:31Speaker 2: He basically put the future right on the field this
- 9:33Speaker 2: year with Spencer Jones and Lombard. I mean, they were
- 9:36Speaker 2: in the postseason together. He basically engineered Anthony Volpe's return
- 9:41Speaker 2: back to the majors and said, we're going to put
- 9:44Speaker 2: him in second. I mean, that was a great call.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I don't know who made that call. Maybe even Boone did,
- 9:48Speaker 2: but you know. putting him at second and Lombard at
- 9:51Speaker 2: short was huge. I think it helped bring confidence back
- 9:57Speaker 2: to Volpe's bat. Of course, the fan interferences happen. It
- 10:01Speaker 2: is a tie ball game in that game three. That's
- 10:04Speaker 2: how confident I think he came back playing second. And
- 10:08Speaker 2: then the other aspect is Aaron Judge really getting in
- 10:12Speaker 2: the ear of Yankee front office with the moves. Do
- 10:17Speaker 2: I like that he's... Sort of narrating, dictating who should
- 10:21Speaker 2: be on the team. I think because he's making all
- 10:24Speaker 2: this money. I think because he's captain. I think because
- 10:26Speaker 2: he's been tired of losing like we all have. He
- 10:31Speaker 2: should have a say. But I hope he doesn't advise
- 10:34Speaker 2: him to bring back Jazz Chisholm. That is my main
- 10:37Speaker 2: concern right now. Because Jazz did not seem like he
- 10:40Speaker 2: fit in with the Yankees this year. It seemed like
- 10:44Speaker 2: Volpe's spot to lose was second base. But it also
- 10:49Speaker 2: seems like if Judge likes you, they're going to keep you.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Like he likes and endorses Boone. He endorsed Boone in
- 10:59Speaker 2: the first thing he did in the offseason. So Boone's
- 11:02Speaker 2: back for another year. That had to be what Judge
- 11:04Speaker 2: is doing. But the rift between front office and Aaron
- 11:10Speaker 2: needs to be healed before opening day 2027. And you wonder, Ryan,
- 11:14Speaker 2: and you wonder out there listening... how much involvement the
- 11:18Speaker 2: Apollo group's going to have now that they basically own
- 11:22Speaker 2: a stake or more in this team. You know, you
- 11:25Speaker 2: bought the franchise because they're worth so much, you would
- 11:28Speaker 2: also think they're going to start running it a certain way.
- 11:33Speaker 2: And then the other thing is, I stand by it.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I will not be upset if the Rays win the
- 11:39Speaker 2: World Series just because they seem like an electric group
- 11:43Speaker 2: of guys who, I personally got to meet Chandler and
- 11:47Speaker 2: Richie Palacios. We had a big hit the other night
- 11:50Speaker 2: against the Guardians. And guys and gals listening out there,
- 11:54Speaker 2: it's going to be the first time we see a winner,
- 11:59Speaker 2: like a real franchise, win its first World Series ever.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Ever.
- 12:09Speaker 2: We're in for some history. And it's no wonder, you know,
- 12:12Speaker 2: the tickets are going for so much in Milwaukee and
- 12:14Speaker 2: They're going, I think, for a lot in Tampa. I
- 12:17Speaker 2: understand Milwaukee's got this whole free ticket thing that they're
- 12:21Speaker 2: dealing with. What debacle is that, Ryan?
- 12:23Speaker 3: Actually, if I could just bring this up for 10
- 12:25Speaker 3: seconds here. It's a promotion called the Timeless Ticket, Alex.
- 12:31Speaker 3: If I'm not mistaken, it was started in 2014 as
- 12:35Speaker 3: a way for Brewers fans to be able to pay $ 1, 000
- 12:39Speaker 3: and you get one ticket to... any future game of
- 12:44Speaker 3: your choosing.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Sounds like a golden ticket by the Brewers.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Essentially, except you basically just give the team $ 1, 000 now,
- 12:50Speaker 3: and then you get to save it for whenever you
- 12:53Speaker 3: want to use it. Say, the next time the World
- 12:55Speaker 3: Series came to Milwaukee, or something like that. So, naturally,
- 12:59Speaker 3: and there wasn't an expiration date on this either, so naturally,
- 13:03Speaker 3: being that the Brewers are in their first World Series
- 13:05Speaker 3: in 44 years, a lot of Brewers fans are cashing
- 13:08Speaker 3: in their timeless tickets, or at least attempting to try
- 13:10Speaker 3: to cash in their timeless tickets... for World Series games
- 13:14Speaker 3: one and two, but they've been running into a bunch
- 13:16Speaker 3: of issues just in the sense that... So another thing
- 13:20Speaker 3: about this program, the team is supposed to offer the
- 13:24Speaker 3: best available seats for that. But it appears that the
- 13:28Speaker 3: Brewers are allegedly not doing that and that they're giving
- 13:31Speaker 3: these fans standing room only tickets.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I get it.
- 13:34Speaker 3: There's a lot of demand there, but that also opens
- 13:37Speaker 3: them up to a lot of lawsuits by... And we're
- 13:41Speaker 3: even seeing the Brewers now giving these fans their World
- 13:45Speaker 3: Series tickets anyway, while also allowing them to keep their
- 13:48Speaker 3: timeless tickets for a future date. So in other words,
- 13:51Speaker 3: they're just getting saddled with a ticket in the 400s
- 13:54Speaker 3: or a standing room seat for Game 1 or Game 2,
- 13:58Speaker 3: and they technically haven't even used their ticket yet.
- 14:01Speaker 1: So there's a lot of uproar in Milwaukee about this.
- 14:03Speaker 2: And I know that they're the home team, and I
- 14:07Speaker 2: believe they're the home city. But here's the thing about it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Do they not even think over the fact that probably
- 14:12Speaker 2: Major League Baseball is going to want a hand in
- 14:14Speaker 2: who gets... Like, MLB sort of takes over the show
- 14:16Speaker 2: wherever the World Series. Do they not?
- 14:18Speaker 1: They kind of do.
- 14:19Speaker 3: And, I mean, it's really no coincidence either that a
- 14:23Speaker 3: lot of Brewers fans, at least from what I've been
- 14:24Speaker 3: seeing on social media, those that had potentially wanted to
- 14:28Speaker 3: use their timeless tickets in 2018 and even just last year,
- 14:33Speaker 3: if they were to make it to the World Series,
- 14:35Speaker 3: of course, they lost in Game 7 to the Dodgers
- 14:37Speaker 3: at home in 2018.
- 14:39Speaker 1: They got swept just last year.
- 14:42Speaker 3: And a lot of people were saying that there were
- 14:45Speaker 3: far better seats available at that time.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So, I mean, there's documentation out there.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And it's not like the team could go back on
- 14:53Speaker 3: that or anything like that because the Internet's forever, my friend.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Ryan Pagano, PAG's Perspective. Please tell me you're going to
- 14:59Speaker 2: talk about the NFL as well because I want to.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Now that you're here, I might as well get to
- 15:03Speaker 2: that real fast. So Jalen Hurts plays with a black lot.
- 15:06Speaker 2: And look, here's my thought. I don't care if you're
- 15:10Speaker 2: a giant fan, if you're like, you hate the Eagles.
- 15:12Speaker 2: From a humanity perspective, you got to worry for the guy.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I mean, blood clots are serious things not to mess
- 15:19Speaker 2: around with.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Okay, can I, you're really going to get me started
- 15:22Speaker 1: on this.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I mean, okay, so you let Jalen Hurts not only
- 15:29Speaker 3: fly to London, the other side of the globe, the
- 15:34Speaker 3: other side of the pond, with a blood clot in
- 15:37Speaker 3: his lung, but then you allow him to play and
- 15:42Speaker 3: basically just kind of force him to go in.
- 15:46Speaker 1: How does this make any sense whatsoever?
- 15:48Speaker 3: I mean, all the signs were there that, okay, something's
- 15:52Speaker 3: definitely up with Jalen Hurts. I feel like you could
- 15:54Speaker 3: clearly see that in his performance against the Jags in London.
- 16:00Speaker 3: And the fact that they cleared him to go on
- 16:03Speaker 3: a plane with, and then also play in the game,
- 16:07Speaker 3: and especially knowing what we know now, that he was
- 16:11Speaker 3: basically forced to not sleep right before the game because
- 16:16Speaker 3: it was going to be more dangerous than actually playing
- 16:18Speaker 3: in the football game. It's almost like a sleep-deprived quarterback, Alex,
- 16:22Speaker 3: isn't going to perform well when you tell him not
- 16:26Speaker 3: to sleep.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It's almost like said QB is not going to perform well. Now, wait.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Genius concept, I know.
- 16:33Speaker 2: This also brings in a question, something I bring up
- 16:35Speaker 2: with Louie often is, we need to get rid of
- 16:37Speaker 2: the international games. Like, I think there's a real risk
- 16:40Speaker 2: to these guys' health beyond just that. I mean, there's
- 16:44Speaker 2: a whole bunch of stuff. I get why the NFL
- 16:46Speaker 2: does it.
- 16:46Speaker 1: They're in it for the money.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I get why they do it.
- 16:49Speaker 1: They want to expand to new markets as well. So
- 16:51Speaker 1: it's not all about the money.
- 16:52Speaker 3: A lot of it is also expanding that to the
- 16:55Speaker 3: new markets. You saw that in Australia, the continuous European games. But,
- 17:01Speaker 3: At the same time, do we really need the Jaguars
- 17:04Speaker 3: playing back-to-back home.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Games in London? And I get it.
- 17:07Speaker 3: You know, their stadium in Jacksonville is undergoing renovations, so
- 17:11Speaker 3: they aren't able to play certain.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Games in there while the renovations are going on.
- 17:16Speaker 3: But, again, do we really need to relegate one team
- 17:21Speaker 3: to the other side of the world for two whole weeks?
- 17:25Speaker 3: Is that really necessary all in the name of growing
- 17:27Speaker 3: the game?
- 17:28Speaker 2: And then I hear that they're still going to go
- 17:29Speaker 2: on with the Paris game despite all that rioting going on.
- 17:33Speaker 2: On the news front, I'll debrief that because I also
- 17:36Speaker 2: think that that whole situation has been radical, taken over really.
- 17:41Speaker 2: It started in the rural neighborhood and all of a
- 17:43Speaker 2: sudden France is burning. But as far as the NFL
- 17:46Speaker 2: is concerned, they should not have this game in Paris.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I just don't see.
- 17:49Speaker 3: How you can... I just don't see how you could
- 17:52Speaker 3: justify it, especially with What chaos has been transpiring over
- 17:56Speaker 3: there in the past week?
- 17:57Speaker 1: I just don't see how you could play that.
- 17:59Speaker 3: I mean, if they do, props to them for somehow
- 18:01Speaker 3: finding a way, but it's going to be tough to
- 18:04Speaker 3: divide that from the game that's supposed to transpire in Paris.
- 18:10Speaker 1: It's going to be near impossible to do that.
- 18:12Speaker 2: All right, and then one last thing. The banner raising
- 18:14Speaker 2: last night with the Knicks, loved it. I got a
- 18:16Speaker 2: little emotional watching it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Oh, so did I. Nothing happened after that, by the way.
- 18:21Speaker 3: What? Nothing happened after that. As far as the game
- 18:24Speaker 3: that happened after, nothing happened.
- 18:26Speaker 2: That's the thing about the game. I didn't care if
- 18:27Speaker 2: they lost or won. I just wanted to tune in
- 18:29Speaker 2: to the banner raising.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Well, that's what every Knicks fan was tuning in for.
- 18:33Speaker 3: And that's what every Knicks fan was there at the
- 18:35Speaker 3: Garden to see. The banner being raised. And I don't
- 18:40Speaker 3: know if you saw this one, Alex, but the shirts
- 18:44Speaker 3: that the Knicks gave out at MSG.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Kind of caused a bit of a firestorm before the game, so.
- 18:50Speaker 3: In case you didn't see this, Alex, they gave out
- 18:52Speaker 3: black t-shirts saying 26-27 Champions Night. And apparently a lot
- 18:58Speaker 3: of people can't read, I found out, because they were
- 19:00Speaker 3: all interpreting that as, oh, well, people predicted the Knicks
- 19:04Speaker 3: to win the 26-27 NBA Finals and they haven't even
- 19:07Speaker 3: played a game yet. Not even realizing that 26-27 Champions
- 19:12Speaker 3: Night basically means that this is the first regular season
- 19:16Speaker 3: game they're playing since they won the championships.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Heavy emphasis on the word night.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yep, well, there you go.
- 19:23Speaker 1: But also, credit to the Sixers.
- 19:25Speaker 3: They look really freaking good with 41-year-old LeBron in tow.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I mean, they look like a whole other team. That's
- 19:32Speaker 1: the only reason.
- 19:33Speaker 3: And I'm going to love to not only see these
- 19:36Speaker 3: guys play, but admittedly, I'm definitely looking forward to rooting
- 19:40Speaker 3: against them.
- 19:41Speaker 1: As an NBA fan, you've got to have teams that
- 19:43Speaker 1: you love to root against.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you, as much as I say that
- 19:46Speaker 2: the game didn't matter to me, The fact that we
- 19:49Speaker 2: played the Sixers a few years ago, more times this
- 19:50Speaker 2: year is a little concerning. We'll have to see.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Definitely.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Will they be able to take over well, I was
- 19:57Speaker 3: going to say Wells Fargo, now Xfinity Mobile's arena. Are
- 20:00Speaker 3: they going to be able to take over Philly the
- 20:01Speaker 3: same way? Now that LeBron is in town. Because now,
- 20:05Speaker 3: I mean, we're talking about a whole different Sixers team.
- 20:08Speaker 3: Not even just with LeBron, but Jalen Brown also looking
- 20:11Speaker 3: decent in his Sixers debut. KCP providing some decent scoring
- 20:17Speaker 3: off the bench as well.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I mean, it's a whole new group right here. A
- 20:21Speaker 1: lot of the same pieces, don't get me wrong, but.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It's been reinforced with what looks like bona fide concrete.
- 20:29Speaker 1: That's going to be trouble for the Knicks.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Oh, and then I think the heat with Giannis is
- 20:33Speaker 2: going to be different, too.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we'll see how they play tonight. Their
- 20:37Speaker 1: season tips off, and.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I've got a couple Heat fans really looking forward to
- 20:41Speaker 3: seeing Giannis play, but I'm just curious how he's going
- 20:45Speaker 3: to be able to adapt as really... I mean, you
- 20:48Speaker 3: can make the case as Bam being his co-star and
- 20:51Speaker 3: all that, but for a group that is kind of
- 20:54Speaker 3: lacking in depth, per se, outside of that, I mean,
- 20:57Speaker 3: they've got a couple solid pieces, the Miami Heat, around
- 21:01Speaker 3: Giannis and Bam, but is Giannis going to be enough
- 21:06Speaker 3: to take this Heat team... to the next level, especially
- 21:08Speaker 3: when they gave up a lot of their younger depth
- 21:11Speaker 3: to try to get him.
- 21:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm going to be curious to find out about.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I don't know yet. And by the way, the Bucs,
- 21:16Speaker 2: I think Jonathan's a better place because he doesn't have
- 21:19Speaker 2: the Bucs controversy. All right, one last thing.
- 21:22Speaker 3: And he doesn't have to worry about all these trade
- 21:24Speaker 3: rumors to the Knicks anymore that kind of clouded his
- 21:29Speaker 3: play and then also his future in Milwaukee the past
- 21:31Speaker 3: two years. There's none of that to worry about.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's a whole clean slate for the Greek footballers.
- 21:36Speaker 2: One more thing. Did you get the chance to visit
- 21:38Speaker 2: the fan advisory, Nick's Banner, on Gravesend Neck Road in Brooklyn?
- 21:47Speaker 2: I wish.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I saw your picture over there, of course. And I mean,
- 21:50Speaker 3: credit to Fanatics for being able to set that up.
- 21:54Speaker 2: With high-tech collision.
- 21:55Speaker 1: It was great.
- 21:56Speaker 2: That's such a cool banner. Maybe it'll still be up
- 21:58Speaker 2: by the time before the season's out. I don't know
- 22:01Speaker 2: what their plans are with that. But you should definitely
- 22:03Speaker 2: check it out for sure. Anyway, I'm Alex Garrett, and
- 22:08Speaker 2: we got so much more to cover here at the
