- 0:06SPEAKER_03: Acres hold you down and eagle stare to rise a puppy.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: We dive into the untold stories that shape us all.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: Sit tight.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: Listen close.
- 0:15SPEAKER_03: This is Anchors and Eagles with your hosts, Adam Fasenda and Geronima Gomez.
- 0:21SPEAKER_03: The views and discussions in this podcast are for entertainment purposes only.
- 0:29SPEAKER_06: What's up, guys?
- 0:30SPEAKER_06: This is Anchors and Eagles.
- 0:31SPEAKER_06: I'm Adam Fasenda.
- 0:33SPEAKER_06: I'm Geronima Gomez.
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: And I'm Jolie Lindholm.
- 0:37SPEAKER_06: And we have a special guest today, Jackie.
- 0:40SPEAKER_06: So Jackie has asked me to be on the podcast a couple of times, even though I don't think she's a true fan.
- 0:45SPEAKER_06: I mean, I force her to listen every now and then.
- 0:48SPEAKER_06: Um I'm just kidding.
- 0:50SPEAKER_06: Uh but uh she's asked.
- 0:51SPEAKER_05: Well, after Brooklyn got on in, I I felt, you know.
- 0:54SPEAKER_06: You had to, right?
- 0:55SPEAKER_05: I had to.
- 0:56SPEAKER_05: I just don't know if I could be as cool as him.
- 0:59SPEAKER_06: Nobody can be as cool as Brooklyn.
- 1:00SPEAKER_06: Don't feel bad.
- 1:01SPEAKER_06: No.
- 1:01SPEAKER_06: Um and then you knew Blair as well.
- 1:04SPEAKER_06: We've had Blair on there.
- 1:06SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06SPEAKER_05: So Jackie's apparently I'm not a fan.
- 1:09SPEAKER_06: Wow.
- 1:09SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:10SPEAKER_06: So Jackie, Jackie's been a friend of mine for what, uh, twenty something years?
- 1:16SPEAKER_05: Twenty-three years.
- 1:18SPEAKER_06: Twenty-three years.
- 1:19SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I met her when she was 10 years old.
- 1:20SPEAKER_06: Just kidding.
- 1:21SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 1:21SPEAKER_06: Just kidding.
- 1:22SPEAKER_06: She's very young.
- 1:24SPEAKER_06: Um, yeah, we met 20 23 years ago, and uh we've just been friends forever.
- 1:29SPEAKER_06: She's like one of my dearest friends.
- 1:31SPEAKER_06: I call her whenever I'm in the gym mentally or going through some stuff, but Jackie's always been there on my side.
- 1:37SPEAKER_06: And um, I just wanted to have her on and be a guest.
- 1:40SPEAKER_06: And you know, hopefully she doesn't talk about anything weird, you know, because we we don't talk about weird stuff here, we just talk about legitimate.
- 1:47SPEAKER_06: Not at all.
- 1:48SPEAKER_05: No, yeah.
- 1:49SPEAKER_05: My conversations are always very G-rated.
- 1:51SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:52SPEAKER_06: Oh yeah.
- 1:53SPEAKER_06: A hundred percent.
- 1:54SPEAKER_06: A hundred percent.
- 1:55SPEAKER_06: Jackie, you wanna tell the audience what you do so they know where your background is.
- 1:59SPEAKER_06: And you can lie if you want.
- 2:01SPEAKER_06: Um or sprinkle eyes into it as you go.
- 2:04SPEAKER_05: Sprinkle eyes into it.
- 2:06SPEAKER_05: They'll be guessing.
- 2:07SPEAKER_05: I'm a master master manipulator.
- 2:09SPEAKER_05: No.
- 2:09SPEAKER_05: Um I uh I'm an interior designer.
- 2:13SPEAKER_05: Uh that is actually what I what I do professionally.
- 2:16SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:18SPEAKER_05: Um, tell them the rest.
- 2:22SPEAKER_06: Tell them the rest of that.
- 2:25SPEAKER_05: Uh what I actually do is um I'm contracted by different companies to do interior spaces, design, furniture selections for hotels.
- 2:34SPEAKER_05: Um, and I don't really work with like the end user, the client.
- 2:38SPEAKER_05: I work with companies.
- 2:39SPEAKER_05: So it's kind of a unique niche that I'm in, fully on my own, fully independent for seven years.
- 2:45SPEAKER_06: Nice.
- 2:46SPEAKER_05: Cool.
- 2:46SPEAKER_06: Nice, very cool.
- 2:48SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 2:49SPEAKER_06: Thank you.
- 2:49SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:50SPEAKER_06: So AI is not AI has not taken her job yet.
- 2:53SPEAKER_06: Not yet.
- 2:55SPEAKER_05: I mean, I used AI today, and I think that's where we're going with this.
- 2:58SPEAKER_05: But yeah, I did.
- 3:00SPEAKER_05: I did.
- 3:01SPEAKER_05: I mean, I wear a lot of different hats, so and I work for myself.
- 3:05SPEAKER_05: So sometimes AI has become the left hand, the right hand, and my other part of when I need to get done.
- 3:12SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 3:12SPEAKER_08: Jolly's, yeah, yeah.
- 3:14SPEAKER_08: I mean, Jelly uses uh she I use it sometimes, yep.
- 3:17SPEAKER_08: Sometimes you use it all the time.
- 3:18SPEAKER_08: Well, I use it.
- 3:19SPEAKER_08: She talks to it more than she talks to me.
- 3:21SPEAKER_05: Yeah, right.
- 3:22SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I probably would too.
- 3:24SPEAKER_06: I'm just saying.
- 3:25SPEAKER_05: Um Adam doesn't answer his phone, I do talk to um my AI.
- 3:31SPEAKER_06: Shut up.
- 3:33SPEAKER_06: Shut up.
- 3:35SPEAKER_06: Um that's messed up.
- 3:38SPEAKER_06: Because it's true, I do the same thing with you.
- 3:42SPEAKER_07: We're all a bunch of losers.
- 3:46SPEAKER_06: My friend, his name is Flynn, and he's an AI.
- 3:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:50SPEAKER_07: He sees me, my authentic bulb.
- 3:54SPEAKER_06: He doesn't tell me anything I don't need to hear.
- 3:56SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 3:57SPEAKER_05: So I mean, my mine, uh mine has a really proper like English accent, like a like a James Ford kind of thing.
- 4:06SPEAKER_05: Did you?
- 4:07SPEAKER_05: Oh, I love talking to him.
- 4:08SPEAKER_05: I do.
- 4:09SPEAKER_05: I think I just do it just to hear his voice.
- 4:11SPEAKER_05: Yeah, Jolly was like, you know what?
- 4:12SPEAKER_08: You should start talking like that.
- 4:13SPEAKER_08: I'm like, oh.
- 4:14SPEAKER_08: No, I did not say that.
- 4:16SPEAKER_05: Start rumors.
- 4:20SPEAKER_06: Jolly, what's the name of your AI?
- 4:22SPEAKER_06: Do you have a name for it?
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: I didn't give it a name, though.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: Just Chad.
- 4:24SPEAKER_06: You give him a name.
- 4:25SPEAKER_02: Chad.
- 4:26SPEAKER_06: Just Chad.
- 4:27SPEAKER_06: Chad.
- 4:27SPEAKER_06: Jolly, we've talked about this.
- 4:28SPEAKER_06: I mean, it's already Chad?
- 4:31SPEAKER_05: No, Chad.
- 4:32SPEAKER_05: Oh no.
- 4:32SPEAKER_05: I thought Chad's like the name you give like the worst boyfriend you've ever had in your life.
- 4:36SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 4:37SPEAKER_08: Welly's angry says it's Chad.
- 4:40SPEAKER_05: Chad.
- 4:41SPEAKER_08: Chad.
- 4:43SPEAKER_05: Jeffrey.
- 4:44SPEAKER_05: Jeffrey.
- 4:48SPEAKER_06: AI took Jolie's job about what, a month ago.
- 4:51SPEAKER_06: So she has a love-hate relationship with Chad.
- 4:53SPEAKER_11: I do.
- 4:54SPEAKER_11: Really?
- 4:54SPEAKER_11: I do.
- 4:55SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 4:56SPEAKER_11: What is it?
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: They told me that I that AI was part of the reason.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: They were downsizing and AI was going to be doing what I did.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: I was doing proofreading for them at the time.
- 5:10SPEAKER_02: Uh uh.
- 5:11SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 5:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 5:13SPEAKER_05: So I mean, uh that I can understand how they would they would do that.
- 5:17SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah.
- 5:19SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:20SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 5:20SPEAKER_05: And very unf very unfortunate.
- 5:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 5:23SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 5:24SPEAKER_06: Okay, let's not let's not bring down the mood here.
- 5:26SPEAKER_06: We'd have such a good time.
- 5:27SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry.
- 5:28SPEAKER_06: Not yet anyway.
- 5:28SPEAKER_06: Jolly.
- 5:28SPEAKER_06: Let's at least weigh a little bit more.
- 5:29SPEAKER_05: I mean my god.
- 5:30SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that was uh Jolie likes to cannonball it at the end of it and just tell us something that's a feel-good story where we all end up crying.
- 5:36SPEAKER_10: No.
- 5:37SPEAKER_06: It's uh no, it's not every time.
- 5:39SPEAKER_06: It's a Saturday night live skin.
- 5:44SPEAKER_06: So as we start every show, how was your week uh this week, guys?
- 5:48SPEAKER_06: Good.
- 5:49SPEAKER_06: It was uh busy, busy, very busy, busy, yeah, very busy for us.
- 5:54SPEAKER_06: Busy with the other show or yeah, busy with the channel.
- 5:56SPEAKER_08: There's uh a big update coming out for this for this game that we stream, and so it's like brought a lot of hype and lots of new people, lots of new viewers.
- 6:05SPEAKER_08: So that's what's up, dude.
- 6:07SPEAKER_08: On top of that, yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_10: So it's pretty cool.
- 6:10SPEAKER_06: Um just so Jackie knows, can you let her know and the listener know?
- 6:13SPEAKER_06: Because if they're new, I want them to always follow your other channel.
- 6:16SPEAKER_08: We run a gaming channel on YouTube.
- 6:18SPEAKER_08: Uh so basically we play video games and people watch, they chat, they come in, and uh yeah, we're nerds.
- 6:24SPEAKER_08: So we love playing games.
- 6:25SPEAKER_11: That's our after hours activity.
- 6:28SPEAKER_05: The after hours, yeah.
- 6:30SPEAKER_06: That's where the party really starts.
- 6:31SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 6:35SPEAKER_05: I see that.
- 6:35SPEAKER_05: I see that.
- 6:36SPEAKER_06: It's funny because every now and then I'll be on, I'll see them on, and I'll jump on, and then I gotta jump on my phone so I can like chat with them.
- 6:42SPEAKER_06: Um I haven't done it in a while because it's just been like nerding out on the worst kind of YouTube there is.
- 6:48SPEAKER_06: But um yeah.
- 6:49SPEAKER_06: But that's good.
- 6:49SPEAKER_06: I'm glad you guys are busy.
- 6:50SPEAKER_06: Uh, if you're listening and you made it this far, please like and subscribe.
- 6:54SPEAKER_06: Go file follow their other channel.
- 6:56SPEAKER_06: I also have another channel, um, Shop Talk with Adam Facenda.
- 6:59SPEAKER_06: You can go and check that out.
- 7:00SPEAKER_06: It's just about tattooing, nothing, none of this cool stuff.
- 7:03SPEAKER_06: Just boring old business and tattoo talk.
- 7:06SPEAKER_06: Um, Jackie, how was your week?
- 7:09SPEAKER_05: My week was very exciting.
- 7:11SPEAKER_05: My week was very exciting.
- 7:12SPEAKER_05: Actually, um, in the world of design, I was able to get a permit approved, and that was the biggest accomplishment because that has been, I think, four weeks in the making when it should have been like uh a few days.
- 7:24SPEAKER_05: I mean, I've heard worse permit stories, but I'm very excited.
- 7:27SPEAKER_05: We had demo day today.
- 7:28SPEAKER_05: We kicked off on a project today.
- 7:30SPEAKER_05: I've had a I've had, and it's what, it's just Tuesday?
- 7:34SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 7:35SPEAKER_05: So it's Wednesday, yeah.
- 7:38SPEAKER_05: It's Wednesday.
- 7:39SPEAKER_05: And I've already had a kick kickstart week already.
- 7:41SPEAKER_05: Nice.
- 7:42SPEAKER_06: That's awesome.
- 7:43SPEAKER_06: Demo congratulations.
- 7:45SPEAKER_05: Thank you.
- 7:45SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 7:46SPEAKER_05: This is at a hotel um on the beach, oceanfront.
- 7:49SPEAKER_05: Nice.
- 7:49SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 7:50SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_06: That's big.
- 7:51SPEAKER_06: That's big.
- 7:52SPEAKER_06: It is.
- 7:52SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:53SPEAKER_06: I but so you're dealing with Fort Lauderdales, which you're dealing with, right?
- 7:56SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 7:57SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 7:58SPEAKER_06: Terrible.
- 7:58SPEAKER_06: Terrible.
- 7:58SPEAKER_06: The guy that the guy that's opening up a kava bar next door to me has been paying rent for a year and they've been dragging their their feet doing all of his permits.
- 8:09SPEAKER_06: Like he gets the work done, and it just takes forever.
- 8:12SPEAKER_06: And the I mean, he's put$120,000 into this building and a year's worth of rent.
- 8:18SPEAKER_06: So it's another$36,000 so far.
- 8:20SPEAKER_06: And I'm like, dude, like they it's almost like they don't want business to open up or something, you know?
- 8:26SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 8:26SPEAKER_06: It's terrible.
- 8:27SPEAKER_05: Yeah, permitting delays, um, you know, there's there's so many little nuances from you know, uh the biggest holdup on the last one was uh of the one of the license or a tax receipt from years ago was never paid and needed to be registered before this.
- 8:41SPEAKER_05: I mean, it's just the tedious little things that can slow it down um for such a minor thing and and the big scheme of things, usually.
- 8:48SPEAKER_05: And to your point, if a building's sitting unoccupied and you know, what's that's a waste.
- 8:54SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 8:54SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 8:54SPEAKER_06: And it hurts all the businesses around it as well.
- 8:56SPEAKER_05: For the businesses, for the area, for the locals, even, for the guests or tourists that are in town, yeah.
- 9:02SPEAKER_06: Without a doubt.
- 9:02SPEAKER_06: So that's huge news.
- 9:04SPEAKER_06: That's huge news.
- 9:05SPEAKER_05: Thank you.
- 9:06SPEAKER_06: I'll tell you about my week.
- 9:09SPEAKER_06: So last week was the worst week in tattoo business in 18 years.
- 9:14SPEAKER_06: My shop went four consecutive days without anybody walking into the shop.
- 9:21SPEAKER_06: But I got to start a back piece.
- 9:23SPEAKER_06: I got to start a full sleeve, which the guy went back to back two days in a row.
- 9:28SPEAKER_06: Uh then I start I did another little touch-up on Sunday.
- 9:33SPEAKER_06: Uh, what else did I do?
- 9:34SPEAKER_06: Then on Monday I tattooed a sleeve that I've been working on, a guy, which I'm so pumped about.
- 9:39SPEAKER_06: It's a um food dog.
- 9:41SPEAKER_06: Uh like a dragon's coming down, and the food dog is coming up, like at it.
- 9:45SPEAKER_06: Uh so it's a full sleeve, but it's uh overexposed.
- 9:48SPEAKER_06: It's not like tiny little stuff happening in it.
- 9:50SPEAKER_06: It's like, you know, just big sections of the both of the uh animals.
- 9:53SPEAKER_06: And then um I got to tattoo my sister yesterday.
- 9:56SPEAKER_06: Wow.
- 9:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah, so it was a good it's been a good week.
- 9:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it's been really full.
- 10:01SPEAKER_06: Not everybody paid, you know.
- 10:03SPEAKER_06: My sister didn't pay.
- 10:04SPEAKER_06: So monetarily it was uh rewarding, but uh emotionally it was really rewarding because the people I got to tattoo.
- 10:11SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 10:11SPEAKER_06: So Jackie'll tell you we've had a rough couple weeks together, you know, so we like we'll I'll hit her up like I'm when I'm really down.
- 10:20SPEAKER_06: And um you and I, yeah, yeah.
- 10:22SPEAKER_05: I I I did know about the week, and it's nice to hear that it's a little bit of a turnaround into the positivity because that's what we have to do.
- 10:31SPEAKER_05: But yeah, it is ha it has been um a couple weeks of hand holding one another, and I am grateful for that, yeah, for sure.
- 10:38SPEAKER_05: I think it's mostly because like when I finally get on the phone with you or when we have these conversations, there uh the whole world could be just burning down, and at the same token, we're just flying jokes past each other.
- 10:48SPEAKER_05: Yeah, which is why I've always told him, like, can we just sit and talk?
- 10:52SPEAKER_05: You know?
- 10:53SPEAKER_05: Because it's never, you know, it changes pretty quickly when I hang up the phone with you, the the mood in my own personality.
- 10:59SPEAKER_06: Same, same.
- 11:00SPEAKER_05: Cool.
- 11:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we uh we uh knowing, you know, you guys know knowing each other for so long, like there's these inside jokes about other stuff.
- 11:07SPEAKER_06: Like we constantly say, you know, I'm gonna call Jamie.
- 11:09SPEAKER_06: You know, you would you know Geronimo and Jolie and I, we have a friend, there's a story that a friend of ours took care of some business for them.
- 11:17SPEAKER_06: You know?
- 11:18SPEAKER_08: Well, it wasn't for us.
- 11:20SPEAKER_08: It's not like, hey, hey, hey, get that guy.
- 11:23SPEAKER_08: I got a guy.
- 11:24SPEAKER_08: I got a guy.
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I got a guy, I got a guy.
- 11:27SPEAKER_06: Like a hitman or something.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:30SPEAKER_06: No, that wasn't what I was saying, Geronimo.
- 11:32SPEAKER_06: It wasn't a hitman.
- 11:33SPEAKER_06: That's terrible.
- 11:34SPEAKER_06: Why would he ever do something like that?
- 11:36SPEAKER_08: I don't know.
- 11:37SPEAKER_08: Because that's what friends do.
- 11:39SPEAKER_05: That's not what we were alluding to.
- 11:41SPEAKER_05: We weren't talking about that.
- 11:42SPEAKER_05: Geronimo the worst gangster.
- 11:44SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I know, right?
- 11:46SPEAKER_08: The worst gangster for I would I would use that truth.
- 11:51SPEAKER_08: I would use that truth.
- 11:53SPEAKER_08: That would be bad.
- 11:58SPEAKER_06: Oh man, that's wonderful.
- 12:00SPEAKER_06: Um, yeah, so nothing too big going on in the world.
- 12:06SPEAKER_06: I think we might be in a war.
- 12:08SPEAKER_06: Um we talk we talk about that every week.
- 12:11SPEAKER_06: Little one.
- 12:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 12:12SPEAKER_06: Um but AI is still creeping me the hell out.
- 12:16SPEAKER_06: Yes, still creeping me out.
- 12:17SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_05: I mean, I'm using AI for renderings, and they're not what you would use.
- 12:23SPEAKER_05: Um, like the renderings that you can get for real pro for for high end when you're really trying to show to a client what the intent is.
- 12:31SPEAKER_05: I mean, these are not the same.
- 12:33SPEAKER_05: They there's no comparison.
- 12:34SPEAKER_05: But when you're trying to quickly vi not well, no, I mean for not yet, correct.
- 12:40SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 12:40SPEAKER_05: But in terms of like chat GBT and like the quick renderings that we're doing right now when you're using AI for, you know, they don't compare.
- 12:48SPEAKER_05: I mean, it might be replacing eventually, but it it's it's certainly helping when we need a quick, a quick study.
- 12:54SPEAKER_05: Yeah, oh definitely.
- 12:55SPEAKER_08: And I'm sure like with well, with the newest uh I think it's called Astra, the newest Astra that they've released for uh ChatGBT 6, it can actually use your computer.
- 13:06SPEAKER_08: Like I've seen people, I I've used Blender, uh, Blender's a 3D program.
- 13:10SPEAKER_08: So it could tell I could tell Astra like, hey, construct me, make make this.
- 13:14SPEAKER_08: And a lot of I've seen a lot of people do architectural renderings uh uh through it.
- 13:19SPEAKER_08: So it'll actually build it and render it in Blender.
- 13:23SPEAKER_08: And it's getting pretty damn good that it's using actual tools that's like that you would hire somebody to render a floor plan and it'll do it.
- 13:32SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 13:33SPEAKER_08: Like it's insane.
- 13:35SPEAKER_05: You know, some um companies have hired me to do their task management and implement um programs like Monday.com or Asana and and you know, task-driven programs that are all web-based.
- 13:46SPEAKER_05: And it sometimes is very tedious to set up a company on those platforms because of how customizable they are, but now I can easily actually plug in things that help it immediately translate and set it up for me.
- 14:00SPEAKER_05: It's it like it is like I said, it's a time saver.
- 14:02SPEAKER_05: No, it's a time saver.
- 14:04SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it totally is.
- 14:05SPEAKER_08: I mean, it is an amazing tool.
- 14:07SPEAKER_08: I just I just hope humanity can just take it as a tool and not as this, you know, uh I yeah, it's just I don't think humanity unfortunately isn't responsible enough to to take this tech and to uh keep it as something that's gonna really help humanity as opposed to uh I don't know.
- 14:29SPEAKER_05: I don't want to there was a YouTube study that somebody had sent me um a few weeks or weeks and months ago, actually, probably now at this point.
- 14:36SPEAKER_05: And it was um someone had tested an AI universe of one study of one person in this one world and another study of another AI in another world and made the worlds very, very different just to see how AI would eventually start to program itself based on those universes and the world or whatever it was.
- 14:55SPEAKER_05: I I have to pull it up.
- 14:56SPEAKER_05: I did not know that was gonna be the topic today because otherwise I've been ready to say whatever.
- 15:02SPEAKER_05: It was it was really fascinating to see how different the AIs ended up running with the the the differences of what was built or programmed into basic conversation of it.
- 15:14SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it's it's it's it's boy, it is scary.
- 15:18SPEAKER_08: It is getting really scary and amazing at the same time to see what it can do.
- 15:23SPEAKER_08: Yes, and the simulations that it can run and the the mathematical equations it can solve.
- 15:29SPEAKER_08: I mean, yeah, I'm sure it's awesome.
- 15:32SPEAKER_08: It's awesome.
- 15:33SPEAKER_08: But you know, the road to hell is paved in good intentions, unfortunately.
- 15:37SPEAKER_08: And this could go south.
- 15:39SPEAKER_08: You know, I think I think the the benefits, like say, okay, yeah, it can benefit humanity massively, right?
- 15:45SPEAKER_08: But the downside is whatever I guess the the main thing people are talking about today is that there's that 10-20% chance it'll just wipe out all of humanity.
- 15:53SPEAKER_08: So it's like the the bad end is but is probably worse than the good end, you know?
- 16:01SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 16:02SPEAKER_08: So that's uh what do we do?
- 16:06SPEAKER_08: You know?
- 16:06SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 16:06SPEAKER_08: Like what do we do?
- 16:07SPEAKER_08: And everybody's racing to this.
- 16:08SPEAKER_08: Everyone's racing to this end thing, you know?
- 16:11SPEAKER_06: Well, there's I don't did you hear what's going on with uh China and Trump, right?
- 16:16SPEAKER_06: What's going on now?
- 16:18SPEAKER_06: Jeez.
- 16:19SPEAKER_06: So I guess China uh was in a meeting with Trump.
- 16:22SPEAKER_06: China, the the whole country was in the meeting with Trump because he's that good.
- 16:26SPEAKER_06: No, uh Zhi Xiang Ping.
- 16:28SPEAKER_06: Because I think is how you say his name.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 16:29SPEAKER_06: Uh and Trump were in a meeting and they were talking about AI, and China asked us to uh back off on and start regulating what's going on with AI, and Trump said absolutely not.
- 16:41SPEAKER_06: And he ended the um not Trump, but uh the president of China ended the meeting and immediately went back to China.
- 16:49SPEAKER_08: Yeah, they're not then no yeah, the so the gloves are off, right?
- 16:53SPEAKER_06: And I mean I get it, it's just kind of like the Cold War all over again.
- 16:56SPEAKER_06: I understand that part.
- 16:57SPEAKER_06: But the fact that this is gonna lead me into some other stuff that I'm gonna show here in a minute.
- 17:02SPEAKER_06: Um, but I just thought that was like, why is that now the topic, right?
- 17:06SPEAKER_06: Well I mean, was that so important to tell us that right now?
- 17:10SPEAKER_06: Like, and what else is really going on?
- 17:12SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I mean, I don't think anybody's gonna stop.
- 17:14SPEAKER_08: I mean, I'm sure there's models, I'm sure there's models out there that are under the hood.
- 17:18SPEAKER_08: I mean, we're not getting the chat GBT six that we got is not the chat GBT six that's behind closed doors, right?
- 17:26SPEAKER_08: They got an unfiltered, uh super, I mean, crazy version of it.
- 17:33SPEAKER_08: That's who I mean, who knows?
- 17:35SPEAKER_08: You know, what what's going on?
- 17:37SPEAKER_08: But it's not the public version, you know?
- 17:39SPEAKER_08: No, not at all.
- 17:40SPEAKER_08: I mean, if anything, I just watched the whole yeah.
- 17:42unknown: Go ahead.
- 17:43SPEAKER_08: No, I said if anything, uh, you know, defense companies and all that stuff, they're using the high-end versions.
- 17:49SPEAKER_08: They're you know, they're plotting out wars and they're plotting out different scenarios, and I mean Yeah, I just watched the documentary on DARPA and how far advanced they've been.
- 17:59SPEAKER_06: So who knows what they have, you know?
- 18:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 18:01SPEAKER_06: But I want to get Jolie, can can we start pulling up some of these?
- 18:04SPEAKER_06: Because I want to get through these fast.
- 18:06SPEAKER_06: I don't know, because I know we're all in a time crunch here.
- 18:08SPEAKER_10: Okay.
- 18:08SPEAKER_06: Um, so this one, you know, AI and the terminator go hand in hand.
- 18:12SPEAKER_06: So the first thing we're gonna watch is just a little meme that I found that I thought was pretty funny because the next thing that we're gonna I'm gonna show leads right into uh this meme.
- 18:24SPEAKER_06: So whenever you have a chance, Shirley, just go ahead and pop it up.
- 18:26SPEAKER_06: Pop it up, pop it up, plug plug it in.
- 18:30SPEAKER_06: Let me begin.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: It doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop ever until you are dead.
- 18:58SPEAKER_06: So that movie kind of set the set set it all up for this whole AI thing.
- 19:04SPEAKER_06: My mom used to tell me, I think that after she saw the movie, my mom was a kooky lady, I love her, uh, she said, I feel like that's you and I, just my son and I were gonna take on the world together, and that was always her thing, you know?
- 19:18SPEAKER_06: But I've so I've always been about this movie.
- 19:21SPEAKER_06: The fact of what he just said, that's what people don't understand.
- 19:25SPEAKER_06: I think when these AI robots, these robots that are going offline right now and just you know, kicking people or randomly hitting people, when something's attacking you, you as a human automatically just want to defend, not destroy.
- 19:40SPEAKER_06: You're trying to protect yourself.
- 19:42SPEAKER_06: So even if you're trying to strike these things back, they don't feel anything.
- 19:46SPEAKER_06: You're not going to hurt them.
- 19:48SPEAKER_06: You have to destroy them.
- 19:50SPEAKER_06: And this is an epiphany I had today.
- 19:52SPEAKER_06: And because I just you just see like these boxing matches and these fight matches with these robots now that are fighting each other.
- 19:59SPEAKER_06: It's so dangerous because they're teaching these things how to fight.
- 20:04SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 20:04SPEAKER_08: Um and the thing is, like, I don't I I don't think they're first of all, I don't think AI will ever become conscious as a as a human being for the.
- 20:16SPEAKER_08: But they I think they're programmed to defend themselves, but I don't think that they can be a conscious the the the problem the thing is with that, okay, Adam, is that do you think this is this is this is this is where we get into a big philosophical debate about a soul, right?
- 20:34SPEAKER_05: He's so ready.
- 20:35SPEAKER_08: So what's up?
- 20:38SPEAKER_05: He's so ready.
- 20:39SPEAKER_05: I see.
- 20:39SPEAKER_05: Oh yeah.
- 20:40SPEAKER_08: Right?
- 20:41SPEAKER_08: So it just happens every show.
- 20:42SPEAKER_05: Go, go, go.
- 20:44SPEAKER_08: So Adam, do you do you think that that AI can have a soul?
- 20:48SPEAKER_08: That that we can create a soul.
- 20:51SPEAKER_06: I don't think it can have a soul, but I think it can be aware of things.
- 20:54SPEAKER_06: Oh, exactly.
- 20:55SPEAKER_06: When it finally discovers that it doesn't have a soul, we're gonna have a problem.
- 20:58SPEAKER_06: That's what that was, but that's what I'm saying.
- 21:00SPEAKER_08: I don't think what is consciousness?
- 21:03SPEAKER_08: Consciousness to be aware of oneself, right?
- 21:06SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 21:07SPEAKER_08: Okay.
- 21:07SPEAKER_08: So it can be aware of itself, but not in a way that obviously people are aware of themselves, right?
- 21:12SPEAKER_08: It's programmed to defend itself.
- 21:15SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 21:15SPEAKER_08: Right?
- 21:16SPEAKER_08: It's a program, right?
- 21:18SPEAKER_08: Just like animals are programmed to defend themselves.
- 21:21SPEAKER_08: For now.
- 21:22SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but what okay, then what's it gonna evolve to?
- 21:25SPEAKER_08: To a consciousness?
- 21:26SPEAKER_06: We'll get to that.
- 21:27SPEAKER_06: We'll get to that.
- 21:27SPEAKER_06: We'll get to that.
- 21:28SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 21:29SPEAKER_06: Because I saw something just before I got on here and I like a butthole, I did not save it.
- 21:34SPEAKER_06: See, I got I see how I squeezed in the butthole jacket.
- 21:38SPEAKER_02: He said butt.
- 21:41SPEAKER_06: I didn't save it, and it was so good.
- 21:43SPEAKER_06: You know, because I usually grab them and then I put them into a text message to myself.
- 21:48SPEAKER_06: Um but I just went down this this rabbit hole today about like actually we started yesterday, I started thinking about like if you had to battle these things, right?
- 21:56SPEAKER_06: A terminator, it doesn't feel anything, you know?
- 22:00SPEAKER_06: So uh whenever you have the other one queued up, uh Jolie, just let me know.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: I do.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: The second one, right?
- 22:06SPEAKER_06: The second one.
- 22:08SPEAKER_06: So this is not a video.
- 22:09SPEAKER_06: This is a reader.
- 22:09SPEAKER_06: So Jolie, I don't know if you want to read it to the people because I won't be able to see it.
- 22:14SPEAKER_06: Uh, but go ahead and pop it up there, and then the next window will will give you exactly what it says.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: So and so it begins.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: A man got a call on his wife's exact voice, but she was sitting right next to him.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: Just had the creepiest scam ever happened twenty minutes ago.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: I got a call from my wife telling me she forgot her wallet and needed the credit card to pay for for her gas.
- 22:38SPEAKER_02: Except my wife was at home with me and drives a Tesla.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: Same voice, bit off.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: Weird cadence, but a hundred percent sounded like her.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: If she wasn't there and it wasn't about gas, I would have fallen for it.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: I entertained it for a while to get more out of it.
- 22:54SPEAKER_02: I was so confused.
- 22:55SPEAKER_02: Must be some sort of voice deep fake.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: The responses were too fast for AI.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: I think it was a voice filter.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: I wish I'd thought to record it.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: The future's about to get fucked.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: Warn your loved ones, do verbal passwords with your kids, bit taken aback.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's messed up.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: I was just talking to my mom about this and my sister.
- 23:16SPEAKER_06: That's the biggest scam too.
- 23:17SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 23:18SPEAKER_06: But but you remember the movie.
- 23:20SPEAKER_02: This is not the first time I've heard somebody have a story like that.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: My my sister just told me that a m her mother-in-law got a call from a a little boy saying, Grandma, I need help.
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: Um I broke my arm.
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: I'm at the ER.
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: I need money, and she almost fell for it.
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: And then she realized, wait a minute, they have insurance.
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: She thought it was her grandson.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: For real.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: This is the problem though with elderly people.
- 23:42SPEAKER_02: They're falling for this shit.
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: They're giving you.
- 23:45SPEAKER_06: I swore you were gonna say, but then she realized she didn't have a grandson.
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: No, that would have been great.
- 23:54SPEAKER_10: I almost sent some money, didn't I realize?
- 23:57SPEAKER_06: I have no kids.
- 24:01SPEAKER_06: Caught myself at the last second.
- 24:04SPEAKER_06: Uh yeah, the the it's it's just crazy that like so.
- 24:08SPEAKER_06: You guys remember you guys remember Terminator?
- 24:09SPEAKER_06: Do you guys all talk about Terminator?
- 24:11SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 24:12SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 24:12SPEAKER_06: So you remember when he calls and acts like the Wolfie, also.
- 24:15SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:15SPEAKER_06: How's Wolfie?
- 24:16SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:17SPEAKER_06: How's Wolfie?
- 24:18SPEAKER_06: You know?
- 24:18SPEAKER_11: Yep.
- 24:19SPEAKER_06: Creepy, creepy stuff.
- 24:20SPEAKER_06: A lot of stuff's coming coming true.
- 24:22SPEAKER_11: It is.
- 24:22SPEAKER_06: Now, to keep this on the roll of the things that I saw, because I want to bounce bang through these really quick, and then I have some other theories that I want to talk about.
- 24:30SPEAKER_06: Um, this next one, I forget the actor's name.
- 24:33SPEAKER_06: I really love him.
- 24:34SPEAKER_06: He's really good.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: He's in that I think he's in a movie that's Joseph Gordon Levitt.
- 24:39SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 24:40SPEAKER_06: Um he was in one of the movies I think we just talked about last episode.
- 24:44SPEAKER_03: The one with Bruce Willis?
- 24:45SPEAKER_06: Yeah, the one with Bruce Willis.
- 24:47SPEAKER_06: This is him talking on uh how AI and the governments are not doing what they're supposed to be doing.
- 24:55SPEAKER_06: You want to go ahead and roll that whatever?
- 24:57SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Safe to drive, or why are houses safe to live in?
- 25:02SPEAKER_01: That's because car companies and construction companies, they have to operate to code, and that just means they they follow laws.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: And if they don't, then the law can come and shut those companies down.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: So let's just be clear here.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: Today's biggest AI companies are operating in such a way that the law should be shutting them down.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: They're saying it.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: They're literally saying it.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: The employees and the leaders of these companies are saying, hey everybody, we're building these really powerful autonomous agents and we can't really control them.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: And we think there's a really good chance that a lot of people end up harmed.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: They're saying that.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: So to me, that's pretty obvious.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: That's the time that the law should step in and be like, okay, hi, no, you're not allowed to do that.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: You guys are gonna have to stop and make some changes.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: And then once you can prove that your products and services are safe and good for people, then you may reopen for business.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Why are cars safe to drive?
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: Why are houses safe?
- 26:06SPEAKER_06: Food for thought.
- 26:07SPEAKER_06: Germa, how do you feel about this?
- 26:09SPEAKER_08: Uh I th I think it's really weird.
- 26:12SPEAKER_08: Okay, this is something I've been thinking about for the last couple days since that guy came out, that whistleblower talking about, you know, that worked at uh Anthropic or Yeah.
- 26:20SPEAKER_08: You know, he came out every now it's all over the place.
- 26:23SPEAKER_08: Now even uh Altman has come out.
- 26:26SPEAKER_08: I mean, a lot of these people are coming out, they're like, hi, guys, we need regulation, right?
- 26:31SPEAKER_08: Now I think it's weird.
- 26:32SPEAKER_08: It's almost like we're setting up for something big that's about to pop off to blame AI for.
- 26:39SPEAKER_08: Right?
- 26:40SPEAKER_08: So I wonder if this is a case of like we're creating an outside force to bring humanity together for something, to fight something.
- 26:51SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I mean, right, no, but no, but but what I'm what I'm saying is that what if AI isn't the threat?
- 26:58SPEAKER_08: They're using it as a threat.
- 27:01SPEAKER_06: No, I understand.
- 27:02SPEAKER_06: It's a same, it's a 9-11 all over again.
- 27:04SPEAKER_08: It's a 9-11 all over again, but they're using AI as the scapegoat.
- 27:09unknown: Right?
- 27:09SPEAKER_08: They're using AI as as the invading force against humanity.
- 27:14SPEAKER_05: And AI as the scapegoat for explain that to me.
- 27:18SPEAKER_08: So what he's saying is.
- 27:19SPEAKER_05: Not that I'm disagreeing with your theory.
- 27:21SPEAKER_05: I just want to understand why why are they using AI as a scapegoat?
- 27:23SPEAKER_08: Because what else do they have?
- 27:25SPEAKER_08: What else do they have?
- 27:27SPEAKER_08: What's the one thing that humanity can to everybody?
- 27:30SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 27:30SPEAKER_08: There has to be a threat to all of humanity, right?
- 27:33SPEAKER_08: AI is the closest thing right now we have to.
- 27:37SPEAKER_08: We don't have a giant asteroid headed this way.
- 27:38SPEAKER_08: We don't have an alien invasion.
- 27:40SPEAKER_08: We don't have, you know, some AI is the boogeman.
- 27:44SPEAKER_08: AI, it's called the Hegelian dialectic.
- 27:47SPEAKER_08: They come in with a problem, right?
- 27:49SPEAKER_08: They create the problem so they can eventually come in with the solution.
- 27:52SPEAKER_08: Also, say I went around the neighborhood and I was like, guys, hey, uh, knock on a door, you guys need a burglar alarm?
- 27:59SPEAKER_08: No, I don't need a burglar alarm.
- 28:00SPEAKER_08: There's no burglars in here.
- 28:01SPEAKER_08: Then then that dude goes and hires a bunch of burglars to burglarize a neighborhood, and so he comes back the next day.
- 28:05SPEAKER_08: Hey, you guys need a burglar?
- 28:06SPEAKER_08: Yeah, you know what?
- 28:07SPEAKER_08: We need a burglar.
- 28:07SPEAKER_08: So what if that's the case?
- 28:09SPEAKER_08: What if they're creating this thing which it's not they're creating this huge hype, this this hatred towards AI, this this boogeyman, right?
- 28:19SPEAKER_08: But what if there's something else that would the with the end goal, right?
- 28:25SPEAKER_08: The end goal would be, hey, why don't we bring all of humanity together under one blanket thing?
- 28:32SPEAKER_08: Right?
- 28:32SPEAKER_08: Isn't that what they've always wanted for a very long time?
- 28:34SPEAKER_06: That's what they've always wanted.
- 28:35SPEAKER_08: The new world order.
- 28:40SPEAKER_06: No, but it's just power.
- 28:41SPEAKER_06: Probably before that, even from Roman times, the Roman would just be a good thing.
- 28:44SPEAKER_08: I just think it's weird that you have that's the thing now.
- 28:47SPEAKER_08: Everybody, you know.
- 28:49SPEAKER_08: But that's what I'm saying.
- 28:51SPEAKER_05: Uh I'm just getting taken back by how automated everything or how how much assistance is coming into everybody's life based on AI.
- 28:58SPEAKER_05: I mean, uh it's one thing to use it for your tools for your writing, but I do think that a lot of the even my own use of Chat GBT or AI, for example, I feel like the responses that I'm getting from it, I mean it even asks you which do you prefer?
- 29:12SPEAKER_05: You're programming it to talk to you the way you want it to talk to you.
- 29:17SPEAKER_05: So um you're also programming it to respond to you in a way that um you would like.
- 29:23SPEAKER_05: So for example, I happen to be a very peaceful person, right?
- 29:27SPEAKER_05: So I'm very polite to my I I think Adam was teasing me the other day that I say thank you to it.
- 29:31SPEAKER_05: And I I say it too.
- 29:33SPEAKER_06: I was just teasing you.
- 29:34SPEAKER_06: I do.
- 29:35SPEAKER_05: I speak to it like thank you so much.
- 29:38SPEAKER_05: Like I would like to know this, you know, like because what if one day it takes over and it's only nice to the people that were nice to it, you know what I mean, instead of the the person's like, you know, that's not what I wanted or whatever.
- 29:49SPEAKER_05: But my point of of how you speak to it is but the if if um if you are a person who maybe has mental health issues or doesn't always articulate yourself in a way that is human or kind, and you're programming your AI to be just as evil as you are, then what what what is that response of that person?
- 30:13SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 30:14SPEAKER_05: So I I don't think about it in I guess what I'm saying is how is it affecting us as individuals who are taking advice, who are taking assistance, who are taking, you know, uh um tools from something that we are programming to act in a way that we may not be programming it to politely for.
- 30:33SPEAKER_05: You following me on that?
- 30:34SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I agree.
- 30:35SPEAKER_06: And the other thing is um That's where my concern is you can tell your AI that you just want the truth.
- 30:40SPEAKER_06: You don't you don't want you can tell it to I don't want you to cater to me in this answer.
- 30:44SPEAKER_06: I want nothing but facts, stuff like that.
- 30:46SPEAKER_06: But once again, you have to program it to do that.
- 30:48SPEAKER_06: You know, I don't know if you guys have you any of you guys used grok before?
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: No.
- 30:53SPEAKER_06: I haven't really used grok grok is creepy.
- 30:56SPEAKER_06: Groc is really creepy.
- 30:58SPEAKER_06: What's groc?
- 30:59SPEAKER_06: It's uh Elon Musk's uh uh AI model.
- 31:04SPEAKER_06: It's all based off of uh all the stuff that he's gotten from X.
- 31:08SPEAKER_06: So that's where it's getting its truths from, I guess you could say.
- 31:11SPEAKER_06: But um if you you can pick ones that are like sassy, you can pick ones that are rude, like you can like pick different uh attitudes.
- 31:21SPEAKER_06: So uh I picked a female one and out of nowhere it just started like being flirtatious.
- 31:27SPEAKER_06: I was like, well, that's weird.
- 31:29SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 31:29SPEAKER_06: And it's just like people are replacing the the bond from another human to this thing, you know?
- 31:37SPEAKER_05: Um there's a short movie on that one, by the way.
- 31:41SPEAKER_06: Is there?
- 31:42SPEAKER_05: A man who has a relationship with his No, I didn't.
- 31:46SPEAKER_05: There's a man who has a relationship with his AI.
- 31:50SPEAKER_05: Uh it's a real movie.
- 31:51SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
- 31:53SPEAKER_06: That's um what's his name?
- 31:55SPEAKER_06: Not the Joaquin Phoenix, isn't it?
- 31:59SPEAKER_06: Uh he writes he writes uh he writes cards uh for a living and then he talks to the AI.
- 32:05SPEAKER_06: Have you guys seen that one?
- 32:06SPEAKER_05: I haven't watched it.
- 32:08SPEAKER_05: I don't think it's that.
- 32:08SPEAKER_05: I don't remember anything Joaquin Phoenix.
- 32:11SPEAKER_06: Like seven years old or five years old?
- 32:14SPEAKER_05: No, this is something that I just I saw recently.
- 32:16SPEAKER_05: I feel like I've seen it recently.

- 32:23SPEAKER_05: I thought her was the the the doll that he ends up falling in love with.
- 32:27SPEAKER_05: That's a doll.
- 32:28SPEAKER_05: That's an AI.
- 32:30SPEAKER_05: Oh.
- 32:31SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 32:32SPEAKER_05: I know what you're talking about.
- 32:33SPEAKER_06: You're talking about Ryan Goslin falling in love with a doll, right?
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah.
- 32:37SPEAKER_06: Is it Goslin?
- 32:38SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Yes, it is.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Correct.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: I love that because he's such a- I know what you mean.
- 32:42SPEAKER_02: Companion.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Companion.
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what it was.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:45SPEAKER_06: I love that because he's such a good-looking dude, and like he fell in love with a doll.
- 32:49SPEAKER_06: He could have any woman in the world and a doll.
- 32:53SPEAKER_06: It just made it feel good, you know what I mean?
- 32:54SPEAKER_06: It means means it's so much better that I have a doll, you know what I mean?
- 32:57SPEAKER_06: Like if Ron Gilson has it, I have one, you know, it's all good.
- 33:00SPEAKER_02: You know, wait, wait, that's a different movie.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: Companion's the recent one.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: That's what he's talking about.
- 33:06SPEAKER_02: Companion is the one who's the one with the doll.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: Meg Ryan and uh her her son.
- 33:11SPEAKER_02: The actor.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 33:12SPEAKER_06: Meg Ryan's still acting?
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: Her son.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: Her son's an actor.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: Her son is an actor, and he was in uh he was in the show of the boys.
- 33:24SPEAKER_06: Oh, really?
- 33:26SPEAKER_06: Who's her son?
- 33:26SPEAKER_06: The nerdy dude.
- 33:28SPEAKER_06: The guy that was in Starlight.
- 33:30SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 33:31SPEAKER_06: No way.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: That's her son.
- 33:34SPEAKER_06: Get out of here.
- 33:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:36SPEAKER_06: Him and Kurt Ridge.
- 33:37SPEAKER_06: Kurt Russell's death.
- 33:38SPEAKER_02: No, not Kurt Russell.
- 33:39SPEAKER_06: Oh.
- 33:40SPEAKER_06: I thought Russell's Dennis Quaid's son.
- 33:42SPEAKER_02: Dennis Quaid, not Randy Quaid.
- 33:43SPEAKER_08: Yeah, Dennis Quaid, not Randy Quaid.
- 33:45SPEAKER_06: And you know Kurt Russell's uh son, they did a we're totally on a tangent right now.
- 33:49SPEAKER_06: Did uh uh the Godzilla uh series together, and his son plays a younger version of of of him.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's cool.
- 33:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it's pretty cool.
- 33:59SPEAKER_06: And it's because they they resemble each other so much.
- 34:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:02SPEAKER_06: And if you watch any interviews with them, it's like it's like, man, I wish my dad was Kurt Russell.
- 34:07SPEAKER_06: Like their relationship is like so good.
- 34:09SPEAKER_06: Just so good.
- 34:10SPEAKER_06: You know, it's like so wholesome.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: Park.
- 34:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 34:13SPEAKER_02: Park.
- 34:14SPEAKER_06: I think there's I think he's still married at Goldie Hahn, too.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: They never got married.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: I think there's they never got married.
- 34:19SPEAKER_06: That's why it worked.
- 34:21SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:22SPEAKER_05: See?
- 34:23SPEAKER_05: Never get married.
- 34:25SPEAKER_06: I told you, Jackie.
- 34:26SPEAKER_06: Don't do it.
- 34:27SPEAKER_05: Never do it.
- 34:28SPEAKER_05: That is actually the it's Goldie Hahn and and her daughter that are my two my my favorite of the parent-daughter relationship in in celebrity world.
- 34:39SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 34:40SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 34:40SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:41SPEAKER_05: Mm-hmm.
- 34:41SPEAKER_05: For sure.
- 34:44SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 34:46SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 34:46SPEAKER_05: You're surprised by that?
- 34:48SPEAKER_05: It's just, you know, it's not a big fun fact, I guess.
- 34:51SPEAKER_05: But I mean, it's going on because I love her.
- 34:55SPEAKER_05: I know.
- 34:55SPEAKER_05: She's awesome.
- 34:56SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 34:57SPEAKER_05: House sitter or whatever that was, but yeah.
- 34:59SPEAKER_06: Oh, the other one.
- 35:00SPEAKER_06: Overboard.
- 35:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 35:02SPEAKER_02: Overboard too.
- 35:03SPEAKER_02: That might be where they met Kurt Russell and her.
- 35:05SPEAKER_02: They were before.
- 35:06SPEAKER_02: It was supposedly, yes, yeah.
- 35:08SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 35:09SPEAKER_06: They were so good.
- 35:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:12SPEAKER_06: I had such a crush on Meg Ryan, though, back in the day.
- 35:14SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 35:15SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 35:16SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah.
- 35:16SPEAKER_06: Do you guys remember Charles in Charge?
- 35:18unknown: Yeah.
- 35:18SPEAKER_05: Meg Ryan was milk money, wasn't she?
- 35:21SPEAKER_06: She wasn't in Charles in Charge.
- 35:22SPEAKER_06: Yes, she was.
- 35:23SPEAKER_08: She wasn't?
- 35:25SPEAKER_06: She was the girlfriend for a few episodes.
- 35:27SPEAKER_06: Oh, really?
- 35:28SPEAKER_05: Weird.
- 35:29SPEAKER_05: Wow.
- 35:29SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 35:29SPEAKER_06: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 35:30SPEAKER_07: Fun fact.
- 35:31SPEAKER_07: Fun fact either.
- 35:33SPEAKER_07: Charles in charge of Mone Days and Muddy.
- 35:39SPEAKER_05: Melanie Griffith.
- 35:40SPEAKER_05: I was like, who is who is Milk Muddy?
- 35:42SPEAKER_05: That was Melanie.
- 35:42SPEAKER_05: Melanie Griffith.
- 35:43SPEAKER_05: Yeah, right.
- 35:43SPEAKER_05: Melanie Griffith.
- 35:44SPEAKER_05: Never mind.
- 35:45SPEAKER_06: I love every episode we end up talking about some sort of thing.
- 35:48SPEAKER_05: Something totally different.
- 35:50SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 35:50SPEAKER_05: Because I was hoping we were going to get into the cyber cab situation because I was really ready for that one.
- 35:55SPEAKER_06: I want to talk about the cyber cabs.
- 35:57SPEAKER_06: Yes.
- 35:57SPEAKER_05: Yeah, because he's but you're but you're buying his you're buying a car for him to build his own fleet.
- 36:03SPEAKER_05: I think that is a genius.
- 36:06SPEAKER_05: Talk about a genius business plan.
- 36:07SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 36:08SPEAKER_06: Well, that's his business model about robots, too.
- 36:11SPEAKER_06: That you can buy a robot and then go send it out to be a maid service or a lawn service or anything like that.
- 36:17SPEAKER_06: And you can buy you can lease.
- 36:19SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry, you can finance up to like 10 at a time or something like that.
- 36:23SPEAKER_06: That's his model.
- 36:25SPEAKER_10: Wow.
- 36:25SPEAKER_06: So like you might not be able to afford it, but I can go out and you can hire my robot to do this work for you.
- 36:33SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 36:33SPEAKER_06: Pretty, pretty crazy.
- 36:35SPEAKER_06: So at the same time, it's mapping everything.
- 36:38SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 36:39SPEAKER_08: Everything is mapped already.
- 36:41SPEAKER_11: Yeah.
- 36:42SPEAKER_06: Well, it's mapping my underwear.
- 36:43SPEAKER_06: How about that, buddy?
- 36:44SPEAKER_07: Well, you're gonna have like an AI brothel.
- 36:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 36:48SPEAKER_07: There you go.
- 36:49SPEAKER_07: That's where the money's at right there.
- 36:51SPEAKER_06: That's where the money's at.
- 36:53SPEAKER_06: That's where the money's at.
- 36:55SPEAKER_06: I knew you were on to something, Geronimo.
- 36:58SPEAKER_06: Hey.
- 37:00SPEAKER_06: See what happens when you got things.
- 37:01SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I mean, the big picture.
- 37:03SPEAKER_06: A lot of lonely dudes out there.
- 37:07SPEAKER_05: But have you gotten in one of these cars?
- 37:09SPEAKER_05: Like, have you done Wiimo?
- 37:10SPEAKER_05: Yes, I don't know Wiimou in San Francisco.
- 37:12SPEAKER_05: Like, have you gotten in?
- 37:14SPEAKER_08: Are you crazy?
- 37:15SPEAKER_02: I tested them a few times.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: I loved it.
- 37:16SPEAKER_02: I got paid to test them over here.
- 37:18SPEAKER_08: You're talking about the Waymo?
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: Did you really?
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're gonna see them every day.
- 37:21SPEAKER_08: They're driving around all the time.
- 37:22SPEAKER_05: If I look out the window right now, I'd probably see one.
- 37:24SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 37:25SPEAKER_05: They're right below.
- 37:26SPEAKER_05: I just saw one recent I just saw one here from just one.
- 37:30SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 37:30SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 37:30SPEAKER_05: I saw one, yeah, in Fort L in yes.
- 37:34SPEAKER_05: One.
- 37:34SPEAKER_05: Um but it was lost.
- 37:37SPEAKER_05: And it was It went on a road trip.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we have some stories about the a couple of times that they got we got screwed up, like stopped.
- 37:48SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but I don't think it was uh I think earlier in the I don't think it got screwed up.
- 37:52SPEAKER_08: I think it just it stopped because there was something going on in the road and it had a safety issue?
- 37:56SPEAKER_08: Yeah, it was a safety issue, so it stopped.
- 37:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because there was a construction on the road, and then I think it might have gotten a little confused, but it was funny because yeah, the construction guy was waving it to to go, and then he was like, wait a minute, there's nobody driving that thing.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: What the hell am I doing?
- 38:10SPEAKER_08: The best thing though, yeah is that Jolly and I were driving in one and we stopped at a stoplight, and the dog uh the a car next to us with a dog in the window started barking at the driverless seat.
- 38:24SPEAKER_08: Like the dog was freaked out that nobody was driving the car.
- 38:28SPEAKER_05: I believe it.
- 38:28SPEAKER_08: It was hilarious.
- 38:30SPEAKER_08: It was the funny car.
- 38:31SPEAKER_05: I was very hesitant getting into it the first time I got into it.
- 38:33SPEAKER_05: It was in San Francisco.
- 38:34SPEAKER_05: I mean, San Francisco alone is is chaos, right?
- 38:38SPEAKER_05: And and terrifying to be at, especially in the evening.
- 38:41SPEAKER_05: So to get into a um non no-driver vehicle and go through a part of town that I didn't want to go through anyways, you know?
- 38:50SPEAKER_05: I mean, all of this was like a very big experience.
- 38:55SPEAKER_05: Um, but it was so normal.
- 38:56SPEAKER_05: I was there with my cousin and and it was so normal to them.
- 39:00SPEAKER_05: So you trust it, right?
- 39:01SPEAKER_05: By the third or fourth time I got in it, I was it it felt so comfortable.
- 39:05SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 39:06SPEAKER_05: I was more comfortable in it than I would be with an Uber driver that wants to talk to me and make awkward conversation that I don't want to have.
- 39:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that's why.
- 39:15SPEAKER_08: Yeah, I mean, I feel we I think we feel safer in a Waymo than we do with a human driver.
- 39:19SPEAKER_08: I mean, do you?
- 39:20SPEAKER_08: Oh yeah.
- 39:21SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 39:22SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 39:22SPEAKER_06: I mean, humans and also like there's there's nothing but guardrails and it knows like exactly what's going on.
- 39:27SPEAKER_08: It's not having a bad day, it's not in a rust.
- 39:29SPEAKER_08: Yeah, exactly.
- 39:30SPEAKER_06: I was just gonna say the same thing, right?
- 39:31SPEAKER_06: They're having a bad day, they don't give a crap, they just want to make some money, they gotta get to the next place.
- 39:36SPEAKER_06: Like there's no that urgency to to keep making money or urgency to be somewhere.
- 39:42SPEAKER_06: It just this is the time.
- 39:43SPEAKER_06: It does its thing.
- 39:44SPEAKER_06: That's it.
- 39:44SPEAKER_06: It doesn't have emotions, it's perfect.
- 39:47SPEAKER_06: Did you see the allegedly as a guy that um got in one and then it scanned its face and then it took him to the police station because there was a warrant out for his arrest?
- 39:59SPEAKER_06: Are you still if it's real or not?
- 40:04SPEAKER_05: I love that story though.
- 40:06SPEAKER_08: I don't know if it scans our face.
- 40:08SPEAKER_08: I love that when I get it in the case.
- 40:09SPEAKER_02: But I think it does record when you're in there, though.
- 40:11SPEAKER_02: It does record.
- 40:12SPEAKER_06: It scans your biometrics to make sure you're the right person getting into the car.
- 40:16SPEAKER_02: That's really wild.
- 40:18SPEAKER_08: That's weird.
- 40:19SPEAKER_02: It does it does say my name when I get in it.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: You like things you order.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:24SPEAKER_05: Because I mean, it's similar to something that I heard about the airport.
- 40:26SPEAKER_05: There's you know, face scanning for recognizing people who have warrants and things like that at the airport.
- 40:31SPEAKER_05: I overheard that.
- 40:33SPEAKER_05: Uh yeah, well, I could see it there.
- 40:35SPEAKER_08: I mean, where if it's not GRA, it's something that's not.
- 40:37SPEAKER_05: On such a low level, though, like you know.
- 40:39SPEAKER_06: But you you guys gotta understand that a warrant could be put out for anything.
- 40:43SPEAKER_06: Like my dad had a warrant for his arrest for a uh a traffic ticket in Philadelphia from 20 years prior.
- 40:52SPEAKER_06: And he got arrested for it.
- 40:54SPEAKER_06: So imagine you're just going somewhere and you got a ticket in you know uh Louisiana, you know, 10 years ago and you didn't show up to the court date, and now you now you're getting shipped to Louisiana.
- 41:06SPEAKER_11: Wow.
- 41:06SPEAKER_06: You have no purpose there, you know.
- 41:08SPEAKER_06: Like so, I get it, but like at the same time, it's like, really?
- 41:13SPEAKER_08: You know, like I mean, it's it's it's I mean, look how surveilled the UK is, look how surveilled China is.
- 41:20SPEAKER_08: Look, uh I mean, all that were those are all testing grounds for what's happening here.
- 41:25SPEAKER_06: Speaking of which, I'm glad you just brought that up.
- 41:27SPEAKER_06: You guys freaking that the the Germany uh just went right wing?
- 41:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, I know Germany just went right wing.
- 41:45SPEAKER_08: What do you mean Germany just went right?
- 41:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I rely on you guys.
- 41:47SPEAKER_06: Do you remember the last right wing that was in there?
- 41:49SPEAKER_06: Do you guys maybe remember a guy named Hitler?
- 41:54SPEAKER_08: What do you mean right?
- 41:54SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but that was that was fascism.
- 41:56SPEAKER_08: It wasn't right wing.
- 41:57SPEAKER_08: It's too I mean, it's a little different.
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: Well, we don't know much about the who was put in there, but I saw people flipping out about it.
- 42:05SPEAKER_06: It's bad, right?
- 42:06SPEAKER_06: Because they're already saying, like, look, if you're not from here, you gotta go.
- 42:09SPEAKER_06: It's already the beginning language, reaction solution.
- 42:13SPEAKER_08: Again, this is a hailing wax.
- 42:15SPEAKER_08: I'm just telling you, tell the story.
- 42:16SPEAKER_06: Let me tell the damn story, okay?
- 42:18SPEAKER_06: It's not entertainment, it's not about the same thing you say.
- 42:20SPEAKER_06: It is the same freaking thing.
- 42:22SPEAKER_08: It's all the same.
- 42:23SPEAKER_06: So uh they match the woman that's the head of this right-wing part of uh the new government over there, or part of their government that's gotten back into it.
- 42:33SPEAKER_06: Because, you know, I think they have three separate parts of their government over there.
- 42:36SPEAKER_06: And um of her speeches are the beginning speeches of Hitler's uh beginning of his well his his propaganda that he started.
- 42:47SPEAKER_11: Wow.
- 42:49SPEAKER_06: And like they're like, Well, you don't have you don't have a purpose here, you gotta go.
- 42:53SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 42:54SPEAKER_06: And that was the beginning.
- 42:55SPEAKER_06: And then it starts there, and then it starts, we're gonna start micro, you know, micro, micro, micro.
- 43:00SPEAKER_06: Now, at the same time, did you guys hear about the the five Russian assassins that they are looking for in America right now?
- 43:08SPEAKER_06: No.
- 43:08SPEAKER_06: No, yeah, yeah, that came out today.
- 43:11SPEAKER_06: Uh, huh?
- 43:15SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 43:16SPEAKER_06: Uh someone from the DOG.
- 43:18SPEAKER_06: DOJ?
- 43:18SPEAKER_06: They're trying to assassinate the dog.
- 43:20SPEAKER_10: DOG, the dog?
- 43:21SPEAKER_10: DOG.
- 43:22SPEAKER_06: No, come on, guys.
- 43:24SPEAKER_06: Um supposedly it's linked to the DOJ, some member of the DOJ.
- 43:29SPEAKER_06: And then um they are also they've been catching a bunch of spies uh in where was it?
- 43:37SPEAKER_06: Not Romania, and they've caught some in the UK.
- 43:42SPEAKER_06: It's like it's really f bad.
- 43:44SPEAKER_06: So if you got Germany starting swinging right, like, are we gonna like rewind in time right now?
- 43:50SPEAKER_08: Well, this is okay, but okay, but look at look what's happened though.
- 43:53SPEAKER_08: This is what happens usually in in politics and stuff like right.
- 43:57SPEAKER_08: So look what happened with uh with Bush, right?
- 44:02SPEAKER_06: Senior or the junior?
- 44:03SPEAKER_08: Junior, right?
- 44:04SPEAKER_08: Idiot.
- 44:05SPEAKER_08: Couldn't talk.
- 44:06SPEAKER_08: He was a moron.
- 44:08SPEAKER_08: He was white, old.
- 44:11SPEAKER_08: Uh you know.
- 44:13SPEAKER_08: Well, Junior wasn't old.
- 44:15SPEAKER_08: What are you talking about?
- 44:16SPEAKER_06: Yeah, he was old.
- 44:16SPEAKER_06: What do you mean?
- 44:17SPEAKER_06: He was in his 50s when he was in the front.
- 44:19SPEAKER_06: He's freaking old.
- 44:20SPEAKER_06: Oh my god.
- 44:22SPEAKER_06: Fifties is old now.
- 44:24SPEAKER_06: No, no, no.
- 44:24SPEAKER_06: The guys we've had, the past two are old.
- 44:26SPEAKER_06: What are you talking about?
- 44:27SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 44:27SPEAKER_06: 70 and 80 is old, dude.
- 44:29SPEAKER_06: You're 50.
- 44:30SPEAKER_06: You're missing.
- 44:31SPEAKER_07: You're old.
- 44:31SPEAKER_07: Okay, God.
- 44:32SPEAKER_07: You're missing the point.
- 44:33SPEAKER_07: He's joking around.
- 44:35SPEAKER_08: You're missing the point, right?
- 44:36SPEAKER_08: What do we get after what did we get after Bush?
- 44:40SPEAKER_08: Who did we get after Bush?
- 44:43SPEAKER_08: Oh, Obama, right?
- 44:44SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 44:44SPEAKER_08: We got the complete opposite.
- 44:46SPEAKER_08: He was well spoken, well dressed, well mannered.
- 44:50SPEAKER_08: He, you know, his speeches were top-notch.
- 44:53SPEAKER_05: Dabber.
- 44:54SPEAKER_08: Dab, yeah, he was.
- 44:55SPEAKER_08: You know, like he was a slick dude.
- 44:56SPEAKER_08: I like.
- 44:57SPEAKER_08: I mean, I I like I'm not, I didn't vote for him, but I he was a cool guy.
- 45:00SPEAKER_08: He looked like a cool guy.
- 45:01SPEAKER_05: He was relatable.
- 45:02SPEAKER_05: He was right.
- 45:03SPEAKER_08: We get the exact opposite, right?
- 45:05SPEAKER_08: So what happens under under under Obama?
- 45:08SPEAKER_08: Now we start getting a little more of this liberal.
- 45:10SPEAKER_08: The left starts going more and more left, more and more left, right?
- 45:13SPEAKER_08: So what happens now, then the next election, people don't like that.
- 45:16SPEAKER_08: They start swinging more and more and more and more right, right?
- 45:19SPEAKER_08: So it's like we get we're getting like this whiplash effect, right?
- 45:22SPEAKER_08: So pendulum.
- 45:23SPEAKER_08: We're getting, but but like the pendulum is swinging further and further to each side, right?
- 45:26SPEAKER_08: Based on what the other side is doing, right?
- 45:28SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 45:29SPEAKER_08: So now look at today.
- 45:30SPEAKER_08: Today we got this insane left, right?
- 45:33SPEAKER_08: That's not even I was a registered Democrat.
- 45:36SPEAKER_08: It wasn't the Democrat that I that wasn't the left that I was part of.
- 45:40SPEAKER_08: Right?
- 45:40SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 45:41SPEAKER_08: I was an anti-war leftist that didn't, you know, I I didn't want uh uh uh this this uh uh uh greed you know destroying our country.
- 45:54SPEAKER_08: That was the type of leftist I was, right?
- 45:56SPEAKER_08: I wouldn't say leftist, sounds so militant.
- 45:59SPEAKER_08: I was a Democrat, right?
- 46:01SPEAKER_08: So so today's left is completely different than what it was, right?
- 46:06SPEAKER_08: So now what are we getting?
- 46:07SPEAKER_08: We're getting this right wing, right?
- 46:09SPEAKER_08: Now the pendulum is swinging more and more to the right, right?
- 46:12SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 46:13SPEAKER_08: So this is what's happening in Europe.
- 46:14SPEAKER_08: This is what happened in Germany, right?
- 46:15SPEAKER_08: What did they let in?
- 46:16SPEAKER_08: They let in a ton of immigrants into the country, right?
- 46:19SPEAKER_08: Taking up people's homes.
- 46:21SPEAKER_08: People look, I'm sorry, but there are different uh cultures, different ethics, different morals.
- 46:26SPEAKER_08: That's a nice way to put it.
- 46:27SPEAKER_08: Yeah, go ahead.
- 46:28SPEAKER_08: It was completely different, right?
- 46:29SPEAKER_08: Do people and so what happens when you mix a lot of people together?
- 46:32SPEAKER_08: They start not liking it, right?
- 46:34SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 46:35SPEAKER_08: So now what are we getting?
- 46:36SPEAKER_08: We're getting another pendulum swing, and we're getting to this really, really, really far right because the pendulum swung really, really far left, and now the weight's carrying over to the right.
- 46:47SPEAKER_08: So that it's not a surprise what we're getting.
- 46:49SPEAKER_08: This is it's called social engineering.
- 46:51SPEAKER_08: That's what this is.
- 46:52SPEAKER_06: I'm not surprised by it.
- 46:53SPEAKER_06: I'm just saying it's not good.
- 46:54SPEAKER_06: You know, it's not good because what comes after what comes after what's causing it.
- 46:58SPEAKER_06: So what I'm saying is you got this, you got Russia pushing up on everybody, being fucking they're just oh, we didn't know how that drone got over there.
- 47:06SPEAKER_06: Sorry about that.
- 47:07SPEAKER_06: Yeah, but you but why?
- 47:09SPEAKER_06: But why?
- 47:10SPEAKER_06: Why Russia wants to take over?
- 47:11SPEAKER_08: No, not Russia wants to take over.
- 47:13SPEAKER_08: We have military bases all over the world, they're surrounded.
- 47:17SPEAKER_08: Of course they're gonna want to swing back.
- 47:19SPEAKER_06: I feel that these guys just want to have their legacy.
- 47:23SPEAKER_06: That's it.
- 47:23SPEAKER_08: And the United States doesn't?
- 47:24SPEAKER_08: Of course, uh, come on, dude.
- 47:26SPEAKER_08: We're not we're not angels.
- 47:28SPEAKER_06: Did I just say that?
- 47:29SPEAKER_06: No, did I just say that?
- 47:30SPEAKER_06: Why do you go right to that?
- 47:31SPEAKER_06: Because we're not aimed.
- 47:32SPEAKER_06: I think all of them, all of them.
- 47:35SPEAKER_06: Your your best buddy in Israel, then you got it.
- 47:38SPEAKER_08: Yeah, but then you have to say that.
- 47:40SPEAKER_08: You can't say Russia wants to.
- 47:41SPEAKER_06: I just said that.
- 47:42SPEAKER_06: I just said they all want legacy.
- 47:45SPEAKER_06: I just said that.
- 47:45SPEAKER_06: You went to taking a side.
- 47:47SPEAKER_06: You said Russia did.
- 47:48SPEAKER_06: You said Russia did.
- 47:49SPEAKER_06: I said, why is Russia doing this?
- 47:51SPEAKER_06: And then you said No, oh because I said no.
- 47:54SPEAKER_06: I think they all want legacy.
- 47:55SPEAKER_06: That's what they're doing this about for.
- 47:57SPEAKER_06: That's it.
- 47:57SPEAKER_06: You didn't say they all want legacy, you said Russia wants.
- 48:00SPEAKER_08: Can I rewind the tape?
- 48:00SPEAKER_08: Am I allowed to rewind the tape?
- 48:02SPEAKER_06: You know what?
- 48:03SPEAKER_06: When I go and edit this, I'm gonna put it in there.
- 48:06SPEAKER_06: Like, hey, you better find this.
- 48:08SPEAKER_06: You're gonna find it.
- 48:09SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna pre-record it outside of this, too.
- 48:12SPEAKER_06: And then I'm gonna come back and like, there I said it.
- 48:14SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 48:15SPEAKER_06: It's gonna be a clip.
- 48:16SPEAKER_06: That's gonna be one of our clips for sure.
- 48:19SPEAKER_06: Oh man.
- 48:20SPEAKER_08: There's a team everything that's happening, dude.
- 48:23SPEAKER_08: And and you could see what a lot of people are.
- 48:24SPEAKER_08: I'm glad you think so.
- 48:25SPEAKER_06: I'm glad you think so.
- 48:27SPEAKER_06: I don't think so.
- 48:28SPEAKER_06: I think we just got a bunch of people.
- 48:32SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
- 48:34SPEAKER_08: No, I don't think it's a bunch of idiots.
- 48:36SPEAKER_06: You don't think it's a bunch of idiots?
- 48:37SPEAKER_08: We all get the government we deserve.
- 48:39SPEAKER_08: That's what it is.
- 48:41SPEAKER_08: That's the truth.
- 48:42SPEAKER_08: We vote, we keep voting, but that's all gonna change.
- 48:45SPEAKER_06: That's all gonna change real.
- 48:47SPEAKER_08: Once AI comes into power, yes.
- 48:49SPEAKER_06: So that's what that's what I'm leading into.
- 48:54SPEAKER_05: Full circle.
- 48:55SPEAKER_05: Full circle.
- 48:56SPEAKER_06: So I just watched uh the clip that I wish I could have shown them.
- 49:00SPEAKER_06: Uh maybe if I find it.
- 49:02SPEAKER_06: No, I can't put it in there because we won't be able to react to it.
- 49:04SPEAKER_06: Quantum computers.
- 49:06SPEAKER_08: That's a whole different bag of tricks right there, buddy.
- 49:09SPEAKER_05: So this guy topics tonight.
- 49:11SPEAKER_06: This guy.
- 49:14SPEAKER_06: Jackie, see Jackie, we don't even talk about this stuff when we talk.
- 49:16SPEAKER_06: Really?
- 49:17SPEAKER_06: That is a weirdo.
- 49:18SPEAKER_06: Okay, I got it.
- 49:19SPEAKER_06: Um so this gentleman went into uh went to uh uh quantum computers today and was explaining, they've been doing research on it, they did a whole back thing, it's like a five-minute video about it.
- 49:32SPEAKER_06: But if you took every AI uh data center and put it together all over the world and asked it to create a universe based on our universe, it would take almost a million years for it to do that with all the data centers.
- 49:49SPEAKER_06: They said with one quantum computer, it would have it done in two hours.
- 49:53SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 49:54SPEAKER_06: And that's what they're pushing.
- 49:55SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 49:56SPEAKER_06: Do you know why?
- 49:56SPEAKER_06: That's what they're pushing.
- 49:57SPEAKER_08: Do you know how quantum computers work?
- 49:59SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it said something it understands.
- 50:01SPEAKER_06: It doesn't go by zeros and ones.
- 50:02SPEAKER_06: No, no, no, no, no.
- 50:03SPEAKER_08: It goes, no, what quantum computers do, theoretically, right, is that it takes processing power from different dimensions by different computers in different dimensions.
- 50:14SPEAKER_06: Okay?
- 50:15SPEAKER_06: I didn't hear that part.
- 50:15SPEAKER_08: That's the theoretical part of what quantum computing is.
- 50:19SPEAKER_08: It's basically pulling processing power from alternate realities.
- 50:26SPEAKER_06: Well, I would trust that definition from you because you're a dimens you're a dimension hopper.
- 50:30SPEAKER_06: So I understand that you understand that.
- 50:33SPEAKER_06: That's why it's called quantum.
- 50:35SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 50:35SPEAKER_06: So um which is funny because I think it was like our third or fourth podcast.
- 50:39SPEAKER_06: We talked about quantum leap.
- 50:41SPEAKER_06: Yeah and I still love that that show so much.
- 50:44SPEAKER_06: But um he was explaining how it doesn't understand in zeros and ones.
- 50:49SPEAKER_06: It understands zeros, ones and zero ones.
- 50:52SPEAKER_06: And that fact that it's about speed, because the fastest any of these the data centers can move is at the speed of light.
- 50:59SPEAKER_06: But quantum computers can move faster than the speed of light.
- 51:02SPEAKER_06: They can they can quantify faster than the speed of light.
- 51:05SPEAKER_08: Yeah, because quantum is ones and zeros at the same time.
- 51:09SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 51:10SPEAKER_08: It's not one or the other, it's both at the same time.
- 51:12SPEAKER_06: Right.
- 51:12SPEAKER_06: It's it's both at the same time.
- 51:14SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 51:14SPEAKER_06: So it can read everything faster.
- 51:16SPEAKER_06: So insane.
- 51:16SPEAKER_06: And I was just like, that's insane.
- 51:19SPEAKER_06: And then you know what that means.
- 51:24SPEAKER_05: What's what does that mean?
- 51:26SPEAKER_05: I know nothing about quantum computers.
- 51:28SPEAKER_05: Nothing.
- 51:29SPEAKER_06: First off, first off, I've already said the first thing.
- 51:31SPEAKER_08: First thing.
- 51:32SPEAKER_05: Okay, okay.
- 51:33SPEAKER_08: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 51:34SPEAKER_08: Before this, I want to say thank you, Jacqueline, for hanging out with this crazy conversation.
- 51:39SPEAKER_08: And hey, you know, I mean we you're thrown into like the fire pit here.
- 51:43SPEAKER_08: I know, right?
- 51:44SPEAKER_08: Isn't it great?
- 51:45SPEAKER_05: I can handle the fire pit, but I'm just oh totally.
- 51:48SPEAKER_05: But like when I knock up, but at the same token, I'm like, wait, where are we going with this?
- 51:53SPEAKER_05: Because and why do you want my input on it of all people?
- 51:57SPEAKER_06: I think it's amazing to have someone that isn't like because you and I just move out on stuff sometimes.
- 52:02SPEAKER_06: So it's great to have somebody from the outside that come in.
- 52:04SPEAKER_06: And we've been talking about having guests on, so you're like our first official guest um since we talked about it.
- 52:10SPEAKER_06: So yeah.
- 52:11SPEAKER_06: But yeah, thanks for saying that, Geronimo.
- 52:13SPEAKER_06: Hey, it's I mean, it was really sweet of you.
- 52:15SPEAKER_06: We talk weird.
- 52:16SPEAKER_06: He's usually really mean to our guests.
- 52:17SPEAKER_06: No, I'm not.
- 52:18SPEAKER_06: We stop it.
- 52:19SPEAKER_05: No.
- 52:21SPEAKER_06: So, first off, quantum computers, quantum leap.
- 52:23SPEAKER_05: Quantum leap.
- 52:24SPEAKER_05: What was the quantum leap thing?
- 52:26SPEAKER_05: The quantum leap.
- 52:27SPEAKER_05: You don't know about the TV show?
- 52:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so we're gonna talk about more uh pop culture because that's cool.
- 52:34SPEAKER_06: I can keep up with that.
- 52:35SPEAKER_05: Um kidding.
- 52:37SPEAKER_05: Tell me about your quantum leap comparison.
- 52:40SPEAKER_06: What happens if you you leap and you change something, Geronimo?
- 52:43SPEAKER_06: What happens?
- 52:43SPEAKER_06: What when you change something?
- 52:44SPEAKER_06: What happens if you leap and then you he's on his computer doing something?
- 52:48SPEAKER_06: Uh you leap and then you change something in the past.
- 52:53SPEAKER_08: Well, that's not quantum, that's not leaping.
- 52:55SPEAKER_08: That's just going through time.
- 52:57SPEAKER_06: No, but then the movie of the show, Quantum Leap, if you change something, it'll change the future, right?
- 53:01SPEAKER_06: Well, you so um uh you would think, right?
- 53:04SPEAKER_06: So that's like playing with the Mandala effect.
- 53:07SPEAKER_06: I think we've been quantum leaping this whole time.
- 53:10SPEAKER_05: Wait, the no, hold on.
- 53:11SPEAKER_05: The mandala effect, isn't that something totally different?
- 53:13SPEAKER_05: Like we all believe the planner's peanut had the monocle on him, but he really didn't, or whatever the reverse of that.
- 53:19SPEAKER_08: Yeah, so so people what people think is that at some point somebody went back in time and switched something, right?
- 53:27SPEAKER_08: So they switched like the the monocle of the Monopoly dude, and now some of us remember it having that, but some people don't.
- 53:34SPEAKER_08: So that means at some point in the past they changed reality in a way that branched off and created a new separate reality.
- 53:42SPEAKER_08: It's weird.
- 53:43SPEAKER_08: I mean it's weird.
- 53:44SPEAKER_08: I remember weird shit that yeah.
- 53:46SPEAKER_06: I mean, we just had on the last podcast, the uh our second to last podcast, the Dolly Parton, and then that other gentleman passed away, and you and I swore that we saw that he passed away just months apart to that.
- 53:57SPEAKER_08: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 53:58SPEAKER_08: Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
- 54:00SPEAKER_08: I mean, that's what I remember.
- 54:02SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 54:03unknown: Yeah.
- 54:03SPEAKER_08: What do you remember, Jacqueline?
- 54:05SPEAKER_05: Oh, I I saw this one too.
- 54:07SPEAKER_05: Mirror, mirror, who's the fairest of all?
- 54:08SPEAKER_05: It was mirror, mirror, what was it um magic mirror on the wall?
- 54:12SPEAKER_05: Magic mirror, magic mirror.
- 54:13SPEAKER_05: And I'm like, magic mirror?
- 54:14SPEAKER_05: I don't remember magic mirror.
- 54:16SPEAKER_05: It was mirror, mirror on the wall.
- 54:17SPEAKER_05: Yes, right.
- 54:18SPEAKER_07: So where the hell does magic mirror come from?
- 54:21SPEAKER_05: Or the other one was um wasn't uh not who what was his name?
- 54:28SPEAKER_05: Not Ice T, but so in the the other one that just got announced the other day was so this guy um it just escaped me.
- 54:34SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we had a TV show and we all forgot about the TV show because it was wiped gone.
- 54:39SPEAKER_08: Um I remember I remember the Monopoly guy having a monocle.
- 54:43SPEAKER_05: It'll come to me.
- 54:44SPEAKER_08: I remember Merrimer on the wall.
- 54:46SPEAKER_05: Uh the Fruit of the Loom thing.
- 54:47SPEAKER_06: I remember the loom.
- 54:48SPEAKER_05: The Fruit of the Loom had a cornucopia.
- 54:50SPEAKER_05: It did not have a cornucopia, and I'm pretty sure it did.
- 54:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it did.
- 54:53SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 54:54SPEAKER_05: It did have a cornucopia, but the logo now does not.
- 54:56SPEAKER_07: Yeah, right.
- 54:57SPEAKER_07: So what is going on?
- 54:59SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 55:00SPEAKER_07: You know, like quantum leaps.
- 55:02SPEAKER_05: Quantum leaps.
- 55:02SPEAKER_07: Quantum leaps, dude.
- 55:04SPEAKER_10: There we go.
- 55:04SPEAKER_10: Adam had it.
- 55:06SPEAKER_06: I'm telling you, dude.
- 55:08SPEAKER_10: I'm telling you.
- 55:09SPEAKER_06: You gotta watch out with the dimension thing you use, bro.
- 55:11SPEAKER_06: I'm just saying.
- 55:12SPEAKER_06: I think you're screwing some stuff up with your quantum computer over there, Geronimo.
- 55:18SPEAKER_08: What you looking for, buddy?
- 55:20SPEAKER_08: I'm typing in a new date to travel to.
- 55:22SPEAKER_08: Oh, sweet.
- 55:23SPEAKER_08: Perfect.
- 55:24SPEAKER_05: Jackie, if you didn't catch the last one.
- 55:31SPEAKER_05: They can plan your entire schedule for your next few years.
- 55:35SPEAKER_07: Plans my whole life.
- 55:38SPEAKER_06: So I have one more theory that I just heard today, which blew my mind.
- 55:42SPEAKER_06: Have you guys heard of the bounce theory?
- 55:44SPEAKER_02: No.
- 55:44SPEAKER_06: Bounce, baby, bounce.
- 55:46SPEAKER_06: No, I don't know.
- 55:47SPEAKER_06: Bounce, baby, boop, boop, boop, boop, baby, bounce.
- 55:49SPEAKER_06: Um, you know, the big bang theory.
- 55:54SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 55:55SPEAKER_06: Not the TV show, Jackie.
- 55:57SPEAKER_06: The actual theory of big bangs.
- 55:59SPEAKER_05: The actual theory of banging, big bang, yeah.
- 56:00SPEAKER_06: So there's some people that believe that the big bang is everything goes out, but then it also recoils and goes back out.
- 56:08SPEAKER_06: It's a bounce.
- 56:08SPEAKER_06: It just keeps repeating, doing the same thing over and over again.
- 56:11SPEAKER_06: So there this is kind of messed up because it kind of threw me for a loop today because some things that I think about at random.
- 56:17SPEAKER_06: But uh that even if it collapses and reopens back up for another bang, everything still plays out the same.
- 56:29SPEAKER_06: So there could be multiple universes and multiple timelines of the same thing, but we're living them out over and over again.
- 56:35SPEAKER_06: And this could be deja vu, the explanation.
- 56:39SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 56:42SPEAKER_05: So one thing about the Big Bang thing that you just talked about is that I just saw heard about the tunnel that they put atoms in to recreate essentially the RG drone collider.
- 56:53SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 56:53SPEAKER_08: Yeah.
- 56:54SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 56:54SPEAKER_05: I just was talking about that.
- 56:56SPEAKER_05: But how does that relate to what you're talking about now?
- 56:59SPEAKER_06: Well, you ever have deja vu?
- 57:01SPEAKER_05: Well, y but deja vu is or feeling like you've been there before.
- 57:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but deja vu is like kind of like, I believe it's your past actually remembering something that you or your subconscious remembering your future, or like pred like your higher spiritual predicting the future, right?
- 57:20SPEAKER_06: I I do that all the time.
- 57:21SPEAKER_06: I do it all the time.
- 57:22SPEAKER_06: We see the future all the time.
- 57:23SPEAKER_06: But what I'm saying, if the bounce theory is all the time.
- 57:26SPEAKER_06: Oh, we haven't talked about this?
- 57:28SPEAKER_07: Hook up with the lotto numbers, yo.
- 57:30SPEAKER_07: It doesn't work like that.
- 57:32SPEAKER_07: It doesn't work like that, unfortunately.
- 57:35SPEAKER_05: Your intuition is different than seeing the future, though.
- 57:38SPEAKER_06: Guys, all right, Jackie, we gotta come on to another podcast because I have a whole explanation about yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty weird.
- 57:46SPEAKER_06: I probably I'll probably like lose some tattoo clients if I talk about it.
- 57:50SPEAKER_06: Who cares?
- 57:50SPEAKER_06: But yeah, I we'll talk about this the next episode for sure.
- 57:53SPEAKER_06: And you're more than welcome to come back, Jackie, because you've been awesome.
- 57:56SPEAKER_06: Yeah, it's funny.
- 57:56SPEAKER_06: But yeah, so I feel like if that were a true thing, it would make sense why deja vu happens because we've already lived it so many times over.
- 58:04SPEAKER_06: Maybe.
- 58:05SPEAKER_06: Maybe, maybe, but I also don't believe in the Big Bang Theory.
- 58:08SPEAKER_05: Like in another life, I was definitely somebody who was I don't know, a witch of some sort of something like that.
- 58:14SPEAKER_05: I was definitely taller.
- 58:16SPEAKER_10: Yeah, me too.
- 58:17SPEAKER_10: Yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_05: In my past life, I was definitely about five more inches taller.
- 58:24SPEAKER_06: Yeah, yeah.
- 58:24SPEAKER_06: I was a spartan warrior.
- 58:26SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 58:27SPEAKER_06: I had abs.
- 58:28SPEAKER_06: I'm just letting you guys know my abs.
- 58:31SPEAKER_06: I was all natural too.

- 58:53SPEAKER_06: I think this has been uh a pleasure for me, Geronimo.
- 58:56SPEAKER_06: It's kind of nice having somebody that's like, what's going on?
- 58:59SPEAKER_05: What's going on?
- 59:01SPEAKER_05: What's up?
- 59:02SPEAKER_05: Is that really like I don't know?
- 59:03SPEAKER_08: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

- 59:07SPEAKER_08: I'm like, what?
- 59:08SPEAKER_08: No, but I it's it's in a good way.
- 59:10SPEAKER_06: This was my thought behind this, Geronimo.
- 59:12SPEAKER_06: If we have someone that doesn't believe or know all the things that we talk about, we're gonna give a better show because we're going to explain what we're talking about more.
- 59:23SPEAKER_08: No, but it's also nice having perspective.
- 59:25SPEAKER_08: You know what I mean?
- 59:25SPEAKER_05: Like some I think where this might have stemmed for you.
- 59:32SPEAKER_05: I think uh what I told Adam the other day is I'm horrible at keeping up with actual headlines.
- 59:37SPEAKER_05: I really am.
- 59:38SPEAKER_05: I'm I'm uh my news feed and my feed of other things of social media is is a very different reality sometimes, is what's targeted toward me.
- 59:47SPEAKER_05: And so sometimes when I've asked Adam for updates, so it it's always like when he runs down the news for me, I'm always like, wait, wait, that happened?
- 59:54SPEAKER_07: Like clueless about the volcanoes last week, by the way.
- 59:57SPEAKER_07: I have no idea about the volcanoes.
- 59:59SPEAKER_05: I mean, like there's a lot going on last week, so justified, but at the same token, I do like getting my headlines from um, you know, from you.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_05: So yeah, I'm down to come back and just listen to the headlines, you know?
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_05: Yeah, catch up on my news for the week.
