- 0:00So what makes a space sacred? The word sacred simply means set
- 0:03apart. Set apart for something holy,
- 0:06something pure, something meaningful.
- 0:09A sacred space isn't perfect. It's not polished.
- 0:12It's not the room with the best furniture or soft worship music
- 0:16playing. A sacred space is an environment
- 0:19where the presence of God meets the honesty of people.
- 0:23Let me describe what that space feels like.
- 0:25They crack open the door to healing.
- 0:30There are 4 traits of A sacred space that I want to share with
- 0:33you. The four things that made that
- 0:35room sacred, and you'll know them when you feel them.
- 0:38The first one is safety. This is more than just privacy.
- 0:41It's emotional safety. The sense that no one in the
- 0:44room is waiting for you to fail. A sacred space feels like a deep
- 0:48exhale. You stop apologizing for your
- 0:51emotions. You stop comparing your struggle
- 0:53to others. You feel the weight begin to
- 0:55loosen. You feel understood without to
- 0:58explain everything. You sense that God is there even
- 1:01if no one mentions his name.
