Carrigaline’s brand new playground, dubbed “Pringle Park” for its quirky Pringle-shaped decorations, is a $300K community triumph after two and a half years of effort. Funded by Cork County Council, SECAD, private sponsors, and local fundraising, the project was spearheaded by the Carrigaline Playground Committee. Chair Roisine Connelly and secretary Aimie Hodnett led with vision and grit, uniting council, businesses, and residents to deliver a vibrant, kid-friendly space that’s already becoming a neighborhood favorite.
