What the Lord saw in the un-named Widow (Mark 12)
In Mark 12 and Luke 21, the Lord Jesus quietly watches as a poor widow places two small coins into the temple treasury.
Surrounded by outward religion, public display, and spiritual decline, her simple act of faith became precious in the eyes of Christ. While others gave from abundance, she gave all her living — holding nothing back.
This meditation considers the searching reality that the Lord still observes not only what we give, but how and why we give.
