- 0:03Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed as our Super Bowl 58 coverage continues.
- 0:08Dayna Roselli: It's Dana Roselli along with Sean McAllister.
- 0:11Dayna Roselli: And boy, it's day two of uh Super Bowl Watch.
- 0:16Dayna Roselli: And I'm tired already, Sean.
- 0:19Sean McAllister: I mean, it's been a lot of activity, and it's only it's only day two.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: It's only Tuesday.
- 0:24Dayna Roselli: But so much fun, right?
- 0:26Dayna Roselli: We have been, I feel like I've been learning so much new stuff too.
- 0:29Dayna Roselli: I always listen, we know Vegas like the back of our hand, but I love learning new things, especially being kind of like a newsy at heart, you know?
- 0:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, and I think this is different from just doing Vegas.
- 0:40Sean McAllister: This is doing Vegas when the NFL is running the show.
- 0:44Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 0:45Sean McAllister: And man, do they run a top-notch operation?
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: We've been so impressed at the organization, how smooth it is, the security, all of it.
- 0:59Dayna Roselli: All of it.
- 0:59Dayna Roselli: Like we are always like, whoa, you know, it's like everywhere we go, there's never really a delay.
- 1:06Dayna Roselli: It's everything is in order.
- 1:08Dayna Roselli: Like there may be a lot of people, and there's tons of media.
- 1:11Dayna Roselli: I mean, people are speaking all different languages, there's people from all over the world.
- 1:14Dayna Roselli: For sure.
- 1:15Dayna Roselli: But the way it moves along and the way they give you direction and the security, it's just it's incredible.
- 1:22Dayna Roselli: I can't even explain how our mind is just blown over this whole thing.
- 1:29Dayna Roselli: But the police dogs, the, you know, they they thought I had a little metal in my ankles today, but it was the zippers on my pants.
- 1:35Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 1:36Sean McAllister: So no, I'm not, I don't have bionic ankles.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: No, but I got stopped.
- 1:40Dayna Roselli: So and I like it.
- 1:41Dayna Roselli: I like them checking me.
- 1:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we've been um really blown away.
- 1:44Dayna Roselli: We went to the Kansas City uh team headquarters today at Lake Las Vegas.
- 1:48Dayna Roselli: They are staying at the West End and they had their uh team press conference.
- 1:53Dayna Roselli: And this was the one press conference where a lot of the key players are gonna be at.
- 1:58Dayna Roselli: There's gonna be other team press conferences throughout the week, but we wanted to make sure to get to this one because that's where you know the quarterback is guaranteed to be and and all that thing.
- 2:06Dayna Roselli: And then they get into their they get into game day mode.
- 2:09Sean McAllister: Right.
- 2:09Sean McAllister: And then later in the day, uh the San Francisco 49ers were doing the same thing at their Lake Las Vegas hotel.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: Um, we're not being one-sided, no, but um, we went out to the Kansas City news conference because it was the first lineup in the day.
- 2:27Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 2:27Sean McAllister: And then we had to get some other things done in the afternoon, so we couldn't stay for the 49ers.
- 2:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, but listen, they're getting lots of attention because as we noted, actually, no, we didn't note this yesterday because we haven't talked about opening night yet.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: We were at opening night at the stadium, and let me tell you, the 49ers fans were there in full force because you could hear the difference.
- 2:47Dayna Roselli: And um, you know, I think because it's in closer proximity.
- 2:52Sean McAllister: And I know that there are a ton of 49ers fans who already live here in Las Vegas, so it wasn't even necessarily that uh people have uh arrived early for the game.
- 3:04Sean McAllister: I think it's just a huge Las Vegas fan base for the 49ers.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think so too.
- 3:12Dayna Roselli: I think so too.
- 3:12Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's hard to tell the difference because everyone's in all red because both teams have red.
- 3:16Sean McAllister: So when you hear the cheers and the boos, uh well, yeah, it was definitely overwhelmingly a 49ers crowd at Super Bowl opening night.
- 3:26Dayna Roselli: And one thing you wanted to mention, just because we're talking a little bit about the security and organization, uh, something you saw today.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: If people are out and about on the strip, there's gonna be some some rules in place about not carrying uh bags, right?
- 3:40Dayna Roselli: Something like that that you saw, and I was like, okay, yeah, let's get that in, but I didn't read it.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, so it was essentially um the Venetian posted uh some security alerts on their uh website and it outlined uh the things that uh normally you would expect one of these things to outline what you can and can't bring on property.
- 4:04Sean McAllister: Um, but this one specifically says um to ensure safety and security for all, items such as strollers, backpacks, and glassware will be prohibited on Las Vegas Boulevard during big game weekend.
- 4:19Sean McAllister: Um that's the exact uh verbiage of it.
- 4:21Sean McAllister: So that's making it sound like it's much more of a widespread uh rule than just on property.
- 4:28Sean McAllister: The Venetian is just letting its customers know uh know about this.
- 4:32Sean McAllister: Uh it says additionally, only the following types of bags will be permitted on Las Vegas Boulevard during big game weekend.
- 4:40Sean McAllister: So this is for everybody walking on Las Vegas Boulevard.
- 4:43Sean McAllister: Uh clear tote bags or backpacks, not to exceed uh 12 inches by six inches by twelve inches.
- 4:51Sean McAllister: Um a diaper bag is permitted if you have a baby with you.
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: Um I can't bring my my Louis Vuitton diaper bag that I bought, even though I don't have a kid.
- 5:02Sean McAllister: No, you need to have a child in hand in order to carry a diaper bag.
- 5:07Sean McAllister: Got it, regardless of the brand.
- 5:09Sean McAllister: Uh a small handbag is allowed if it's smaller than four and a half inches by six and a half inches, and a fanny pack uh no more than four and a half inches by six and a half inches.
- 5:21Sean McAllister: Uh all bags are also subject to search.
- 5:25Sean McAllister: So, I mean, this just goes in line with all of the security measures that we've already seen in place.
- 5:32Sean McAllister: Um law enforcement is not taking this lightly at all.
- 5:37Sean McAllister: They're making sure that everyone coming to Las Vegas is going to be safe and have a good time.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: We actually are going to a media party tonight, and we got uh hosted by the Super Bowl committee, and we got some rules for that, and it sounds like it's actually that, what you just read.
- 5:50unknown: Okay.
- 5:51Dayna Roselli: It was like Fanny Pack and Small Clutch allowed, you know, you know, uh they could search that kind of thing.
- 5:56Dayna Roselli: So I mean, um, yeah, that definitely seems like it's it's across the board.
- 6:00Dayna Roselli: It sounds like a New Year's Eve, but you know, but a full weekend.
- 6:03Sean McAllister: Yeah, exactly.
- 6:05Sean McAllister: So just be be prepared and be aware that uh these things are in place.
- 6:10Dayna Roselli: We had a moment this morning.
- 6:11Dayna Roselli: We woke up and uh TMZ was texting me saying they wanted me on.
- 6:15Dayna Roselli: And, you know, we had plans to go out to Lake Las Vegas.
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: I don't even know how we made this all happen.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: We were supposed to do it in the studio, and then we're like, no, we need to get on the road.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: And then we like got to the media press room and we were at the Kansas City Chiefs press conference, and you set up a camera in the hallway, and you know, threw my IFB in and we're on with uh Charles and Harvey Levin on DMZ.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: That was a good six-minute segment.
- 6:39Dayna Roselli: I was nervous because I thought, oh gosh, what celeb gossip are they gonna throw at me or want to know?
- 6:44Dayna Roselli: But I was prepared and um I think it went over really well.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: We do know a lot, and we don't realize like living here, working here, as we always say, you know, we're your Vegas insiders, but we really are.
- 6:53Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:54Sean McAllister: They seemed pleased.
- 6:55Sean McAllister: They were very pleased.
- 6:56Sean McAllister: And I I think you knocked Harvey's socks off a couple times with the prices that you were throwing out.
- 7:02Sean McAllister: Um, and this is some information that um is new as of today, as of recording on Tuesday.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I uh, you know, did a little bit of extra research as we were heading out to Lake Las Vegas, called a couple of my contacts and things like that.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: Um and the numbers are pretty okay.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: First of all, Wynn's having uh um across from Wynn, the H wood group is throwing this huge party, which I kind of knew about and we kind of saw it starting to get built out, but um, and this is on the 9th, February 9th.
- 7:32Dayna Roselli: They're doing um concert with David Getta and also the future and stage table starting about 45,100,000.
- 7:41Sean McAllister: So that's and this is for a party.
- 7:43Sean McAllister: This isn't this isn't for for the game.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: Nope.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: This is 9 p.m.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: to 1 a.m.
- 7:48Dayna Roselli: on Friday.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so it's the H Wood group and Taco Bell presents.
- 7:52Sean McAllister: And by the way, this tent that they're building out looks, it does not look like a tent.
- 7:57Sean McAllister: It looks like a big airplane hanger.
- 7:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, a big domed airplane hangar.
- 8:01Dayna Roselli: It does.
- 8:01Dayna Roselli: And a lot of times when they do things at the Las Vegas events center, I'm always I always tell you, I'm blown away.
- 8:06Dayna Roselli: It's like a full-on structure.
- 8:07Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 8:08Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:08Dayna Roselli: Um, Jack Harlow's doing the same thing the next night.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: So that'll be the 10th.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: Um, he's really blown up right now.
- 8:15Dayna Roselli: And again, I mean, that's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 8:18Dayna Roselli: Then XS Night Club is doing its own thing.
- 8:20Dayna Roselli: You know, it's always popular.
- 8:21Dayna Roselli: They're doing Shaq's fun house there.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: Uh Shaq will be DJing.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: Little Wayne will be DJ Diesel.
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: Yep, DJ Diesel, little Wayne Diplo.
- 8:30Dayna Roselli: And then uh Sunday after the game, this isn't out there and open to the public, but we're hearing Dr.
- 8:35Dayna Roselli: Dre and Snoop Dogg are uh doing something at the club as well, like nine to one.
- 8:40Dayna Roselli: It's invite only.
- 8:42Dayna Roselli: Um they're gonna honor Usher there.
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: Apparently, Usher will probably show up.
- 8:46Dayna Roselli: He'll be the guest of honor.
- 8:47Dayna Roselli: Um, and they are doing some private invites and selling some tables in there still, but it's not really uh open to the public type thing.
- 8:56Sean McAllister: Right.
- 8:56Sean McAllister: And then uh we got some new information about the really high roller tables inside Allegiant Stadium, too.
- 9:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we heard there's a few left, uh, probably a couple now over at uh Wynn Field Club, and they started at 1.5 million.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: Man, and uh steep.
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, gone down to about 650,000 because it depends on where the spot is, you know.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: So the look seems like the 1.5s are gone.
- 9:23Dayna Roselli: Um, but there's a few 650,000 uh tables left.
- 9:27Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so if you're interested, uh the VIP host over there, uh Jay Sean White is booking just a couple, probably a couple by now, at the time that this podcast drops.
- 9:37Dayna Roselli: But you know, you can fit a bunch of people there in a booth, and the Winfield Club is really great.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: You're right there in front of all the action, and so that will be a lot of fun.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: It includes a Super Bowl ticket, you know.
- 9:48Sean McAllister: So there's a perk.
- 9:51Sean McAllister: Well, I would hope it, I would hope it includes a ticket if you're if you're paying that much.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: Jeez.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: So we're hearing that also, um, you know, getting some word that uh that you know, tr Travis Kelsey, obviously, very popular player, and you know, with the whole Taylor Swift thing, it's made him more popular, almost a little nauseating, like the amount of questions that he gets.
- 10:11Dayna Roselli: We have been at two press events with him for two days, and I'll admit it's a good one.
- 10:15Sean McAllister: It's non-stop questions though about Taylor.
- 10:19Dayna Roselli: Non-stop, right?
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: But I did find out a fun scoop.
- 10:23Dayna Roselli: Um, so that apparently if tr if Taylor is coming in, um, you know, usually the team, if they win the Super Bowl, will go out and celebrate.
- 10:31Sean McAllister: Right.
- 10:31Dayna Roselli: And um, even Travis was talking about he remembers hitting up Excess Nightclub last time.
- 10:36Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 10:36Dayna Roselli: Even teams that win in win the Super Bowls in another city, they come to Vegas.
- 10:40Sean McAllister: For sure they do.
- 10:41Dayna Roselli: Sometimes on We love it.
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: So he was saying was telling me that, you know, apparently, you know, if Taylor's there, she probably won't want to hit the nightclub or be out in public.
- 10:51Dayna Roselli: And we're hearing that they possibly rented a home in the Lake Las Vegas area because that's where the team is staying.
- 10:59Dayna Roselli: And so possibly could be more of like a house party type thing that's being tossed around.
- 11:04Dayna Roselli: So we'll see.
- 11:05Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 11:06Dayna Roselli: Um, and maybe it'll just be a group of them, maybe it'll be the whole team.
- 11:09Dayna Roselli: I mean, I don't know how that will work.
- 11:10Dayna Roselli: Maybe it'll just be those two, but I'm sure he's gonna want to go out and celebrate in some fashion.
- 11:15Dayna Roselli: So I wonder if it could be that.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: Also heard the 40 49ers, a few of the key players that were out clubbing last night.
- 11:22Sean McAllister: Oh, and being recognized by fans.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: So I guess they get one night to kind of go out and enjoy themselves before they have to hunker down.
- 11:30Sean McAllister: Huh.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: So they took advantage.
- 11:32Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 11:33Sean McAllister: And we did uh I ask a couple uh Kansas City players about that today.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: Uh-huh.
- 11:39Sean McAllister: And they were like, well, however they want to prepare for the game is up to them.
- 11:45Sean McAllister: We're doing our own thing.
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 11:47Dayna Roselli: Really interesting.
- 11:48Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 11:49Dayna Roselli: We're doing our and what do you say?
- 11:50Dayna Roselli: Well, what did he say?
- 11:51Dayna Roselli: I'm here for business.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 11:53Sean McAllister: So this is a business trip.
- 11:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 11:56Dayna Roselli: So really, really good stuff.
- 11:57Dayna Roselli: Um, lots of information.
- 11:58Dayna Roselli: Um, we'll post the link of my spot on TMZ.
- 12:02Dayna Roselli: Also, um, we did a story with CBS in Miami.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: That was wonderful.
- 12:05Dayna Roselli: We took them on the monorail because you and I always talk about how the monorail is one of our favorite Vegas tips.
- 12:10Dayna Roselli: It's affordable.
- 12:12Dayna Roselli: It gets you, yes, it's on one side of the strip, but you know what?
- 12:16Dayna Roselli: If you want to avoid the parking mess and you want to avoid having to pay a lot, get off and just walk across the street if the place that you're the property you're going to is across the street from the east side of the strip, it's not that hard.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: We've done it a few times.
- 12:31Sean McAllister: No, it's a and it's a great way to get around.
- 12:34Sean McAllister: Um, it's always been clean, it's cool in the summertime and warm in the wintertime, and spring and fall, it's just perfect.
- 12:44Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 12:45Dayna Roselli: And then you did a satellite media tour on Friday, and we never talked about that.
- 12:49Dayna Roselli: It was a great success.
- 12:50Dayna Roselli: I mean, you were live in Chicago and Miami and Atlanta and Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, and Houston.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 12:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, the lifts goes on, and then the CBS NewsPath feed and Spectrum News.
- 13:02Dayna Roselli: So that was a huge success.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: You were live right there in front of uh Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip.
- 13:07Dayna Roselli: And everyone's response was great because they were just in such awe of, first of all, you being live on the strip.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: They really could feel the excitement from what you were presenting.
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: And um, you know, even just all the information.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: It was like overload.
- 13:23Dayna Roselli: Like they just had so many questions and wanted it to keep going and going and going.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: You could tell, I mean, Vegas is just a fun topic in general.
- 13:30Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 13:31Sean McAllister: And there were uh some anchors up in Portland.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: They were like, oh my gosh, we need to do this all the time.
- 13:38Sean McAllister: We love Vegas, it's great.
- 13:40Sean McAllister: Girls' trip.
- 13:40Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:41Sean McAllister: And I mean, it was that kind of excitement, even in Detroit, where they were obviously uh pulling for the lion to end up here in Las Vegas for Super Bowl 58.
- 13:53Sean McAllister: That didn't happen, but even they were excited about Super Bowl.
- 13:59Sean McAllister: I mean, it's because it is in Las Vegas and it's going to be a spectacle.
- 14:04Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:05Dayna Roselli: And that anchor in Detroit I thought was really interesting, pointed out the fact like if you could have told me, you know, what do you say, five years ago?
- 14:12Sean McAllister: Yes that you guys six years ago.
- 14:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we're gonna have a Stanley Cup champion and NHL team, uh, uh, uh NH uh, you know, an NFL stadium and an NFL team and host the Super Bowl, have a two-time winning WNBA women's basketball team.
- 14:29Sean McAllister: I mean, just you know MLB on the way, talk of NBA.
- 14:34Dayna Roselli: It's crazy.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Man, I know it just doesn't stop.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: It doesn't stop.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: So I thought that was that was interesting.
- 14:39Dayna Roselli: And um I noticed that the the anchor in Atlanta too was like, you know what, you've really sold me.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: Like, I am ready to pack up the day and head to Vegas.
- 14:51Sean McAllister: She was excited, she was enthusiastic about it all.
- 14:54Sean McAllister: But it was, it was great having uh talking to so many stations across the country.
- 15:00Sean McAllister: Um, a lot of those segments were live, uh, but some of them um you may see, depending on where you live, um, they'll probably be rolling those interviews out this week leading up to the game on some of those stations as well.
- 15:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and you know, if you just Google like Sean McAllister, Vegas Reveal, you'll see some of the ones that were posted already in like Oregon and also uh Atlanta and things like that.
- 15:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 15:23Dayna Roselli: But let's talk about some of the interviews we did today with some of the players.
- 15:27Dayna Roselli: I thought this was was interesting.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: They uh the way that they do it, they they put them at different seats and they have their little own little area and the media can kind of move around and talk to each player.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: I liked how they did this.
- 15:40Sean McAllister: Yeah, so you just walk up to uh each player's individual table.
- 15:44Sean McAllister: They have their their microphone there, and um, it's a it's really is kind of a cool and um a very face-to-face.
- 15:54Sean McAllister: It's a very intimate situation when you're talking with these players because you are right there in front of them.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 16:01Dayna Roselli: So we talked to Drew Tranquil.
- 16:03Dayna Roselli: I love a lot of the Kansas City player names.
- 16:06Sean McAllister: They have good ones, too.
- 16:07Dayna Roselli: They do, right?
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and we talked to him about uh kind of what you and I just discussed, how there were a lot of 49er fans in town.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: So let's let's roll that.
- 16:16Dayna Roselli: Does that fuel the fire?
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: Does it kind of you know get you going a little bit?
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I felt the same thing.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: I felt a lot of uh some maybe some booze when we came out.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: Um it's tough because we're both red, but I did see a lot of 49ers fans.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Um I'm sure they'll have a lot of fans there.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: I'm sure Chief's Kingdom's gonna show up as well.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: Um we'll we'll have to get our fans in the game.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be through our energy and our execution that kind of gets our fans and takes their fans out of the game.
- 16:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they're California-based, so their flights a lot a lot less, but we got Chiefs Kingdom all across the country, baby, all across the world.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: And so they're gonna show up, they're gonna be there, and uh we're gonna give them something to cheer for.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so I do feel like you know, he makes a good point that, you know, all Kansas City is gonna be behind the team and they're all gonna, they're all gonna be here.
- 16:59Dayna Roselli: But we did forget that like opening night was a Monday.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: The game isn't till Sunday.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: So there's time for fans to get in in town and all that.
- 17:07Dayna Roselli: And speaking of opening night, just want to point out it was real fun.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: We saw the cast of Beatles Love, we saw Blue Man Group, we ran into Carrot Top.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: There were showgirls, there were Chiefs cheerleaders there.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: It was a good time, right?
- 17:20Dayna Roselli: Quite a Vegas spectacle.
- 17:21Sean McAllister: It really was.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: Um, and obviously, there was a lot of media attention surrounding Travis Kelsey.
- 17:29Sean McAllister: And as you just mentioned, Dana, there were non-stop questions about Taylor.
- 17:36Sean McAllister: So should we roll some of them?
- 17:37Sean McAllister: Let's hear some of his answers.
- 17:39Sean McAllister: Why not?
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: Why not?
- 17:40Sean McAllister: These were the only answers there were.
- 17:42Dayna Roselli: I know, I know.
- 17:42Dayna Roselli: Well, he did talk a little bit about uh gambling and some of the things he likes to do in Vegas.
- 17:47Dayna Roselli: So let's let's cue that up.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: I'll tell you what, man, I'm not thinking about anything but this football game.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: There's nothing, there's nothing in my mind that's happening until this football game's over with.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: You know, um Taylor has an unbelievable fan base that um that follows her and supports her throughout her life, and um, it's been fun to kind of gather the Swifties in the Chiefs Kingdom and uh open them up to um the the football world and the sports world, and it's been cool to just experience some of them.
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: Then we uh we landed in uh Las Vegas just in time for me to turn it on on my phone and um catch her winning her 13th award, announcing her new album, and then um obviously the big one at the end and the album of the year for the fourth time setting setting records is pretty amazing.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: Um favorite thing to do while I'm in Vegas is probably hit the roulette tables.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Um I'm more of a number guy.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: I like both black and red.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: You can't get used to this, man.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Uh I would say the that's the excitement of it, you know.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: That's the that's the blessing of it.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: You get to you get to be a part of something that you that's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: And um, I think the we've been extremely fortunate to, you know, experience this a few more times than just once, but it's uh it's never the same, and you just gotta appreciate exactly what it is, and it's uh it's nothing but chaos.
- 19:02Sean McAllister: You can tell Travis Kelsey really does get it though.
- 19:04Sean McAllister: He does.
- 19:05Sean McAllister: He gets the media machine, he gets that you need to answer these questions, and he comes across as a very likable guy.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: He does, and he was even asked about his family a lot, and he he gets excited to talk about his family.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: I heard him say, you know, thank you for I really love that people look at my family, embrace them, understand what a strong bond we have, understand our relationship, you know, two brothers in the NFL.
- 19:31Dayna Roselli: Um, and then everyone's asking about, you know, his shirtless brother at the Bills game.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: And he and he loved talking about it, you know.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: He laughs and I heard him ask, and like I was walking by today, and it was like someone asked him the same question, and I'm like, man, but he doesn't act like it's a repeat.
- 19:47Dayna Roselli: He checked each time, like it's the first time that he's heard heard that question.
- 19:52Dayna Roselli: And that is smart, and you know what you're doing.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: If we were to media train, that's what we'd say to do.
- 19:57Sean McAllister: We absolutely would.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: In our media training, that's what we tell people to do.
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: So there you go.
- 20:01Dayna Roselli: Free tip for everyone.
- 20:03Dayna Roselli: Um, yeah, and and Patrick Mahomes is, you know, going with the punches too, obviously.
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: Um, he's really good at answering folks.
- 20:11Dayna Roselli: Um, he had a tough, you know, week, I'm sure, with the news about his dad.
- 20:16Dayna Roselli: Um and what do you get a DWI?
- 20:19Dayna Roselli: DUI.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: Everywhere they call it something different.
- 20:22Dayna Roselli: In New York, it was DWI.
- 20:23Dayna Roselli: But yeah, I felt bad for him thinking, I hope it doesn't take his focus off.
- 20:26Dayna Roselli: But he looks okay.
- 20:27Dayna Roselli: His head's in the game and and he knows what he has to do.
- 20:30Sean McAllister: He does.
- 20:30Sean McAllister: Uh hey, when we were inside Allegiant Stadium for uh the Super Bowl opening night, uh, I looked up in the in the rafters and saw all of this rigging that's going to come down from the roof of Allegiant Stadium for the halftime show featuring Usher and possibly some of his famous friends.
- 20:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and we've been wondering like who's it gonna be?
- 20:54Dayna Roselli: Well, uh inside source of mine um has an inside source that told her.
- 21:02Sean McAllister: There's a lot of sourcing of sources going on.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: A lot of sourcing of sources, the sorcerers.
- 21:06Dayna Roselli: Um, so basically, um Usher's been rehearsing, you know, probably not inside the stadium.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: They do a lot of rehearsals other places, but apparently there's been the sighting of a piano, and Usher doesn't play piano.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: So a lot of people have already, you know, conveniently said it's gotta be Alicia Keys.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: Oh you know, they have that song Oh Alicia's great.
- 21:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and then other people are saying maybe Justin Bieber, you know, Bieber was he would be great too, mentored by Usher.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: Right, he's been showing some rehearsal stuff on his Instagram, and everyone's like, what is he rehearsing for?
- 21:41Dayna Roselli: Then he was at the NHL All Star Weekend, was it, or NHL Awards in in Canada recently, and um he actually played and uh he did like a pop up performance, and Justin has not actually performed or sang in about two years since he had to stop his tour because he got sick.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: And so I wonder if this is a little comeback moment for him.
- 22:03Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: Um it maybe, maybe not.
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: And then a lot of people are talking ludicrous, maybe Little John.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 22:13Dayna Roselli: I mean, what?
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: One of Usher's most notable famous songs.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: So they've got to.
- 22:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we'll see.
- 22:19Sean McAllister: I think that there's going to be multiple people popping up.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:22Sean McAllister: That is my predic Oh my God, prediction.
- 22:26Dayna Roselli: Prediction, prediction.
- 22:27Sean McAllister: Is long already.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: We've got I I gotta get a nap in before this party tonight.
- 22:32Dayna Roselli: Okay, let's wrap this up.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: Hey, let's talk about how so many people think uh Vegas is an ideal location for a Super Bowl.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: That's been the chatter.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: We've been chatting with people in elevators, sitting, talking to other media, and they're loving it.
- 22:47Dayna Roselli: They're loving how everything is in one location.
- 22:50Dayna Roselli: You don't have to drive across the city to get to Super Bowl experience, then hit a press conference.
- 22:55Dayna Roselli: I mean, the only place that you have to drive to is Lake Las Vegas for the team press conferences because the team is staying off the strip so that they're not distracted.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: And that's only media that need to worry about that.
- 23:06Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:06Sean McAllister: Which is fortunate.
- 23:07Sean McAllister: Um, but we talked with Katie Keenan, who is the NFL Senior Director of Live Operations, about what it is that makes Las Vegas so convenient for an event like Super Bowl.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: There's just a great mixture of people that come out, whether it's for an event like Opening Night, which is a lot of local people, and then we've got our a lot of fans that travel in sort of for the weekend, and they spend the whole weekend in town and they get to really take in all that Las Vegas has to offer, all that the Super Bowl has to offer.
- 23:40SPEAKER_00: They come to a lot of people will be at Allegiance Stadium for the first time.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm sure that they'll want to return.
- 23:48Sean McAllister: I certainly hope they want to return.
- 23:50Sean McAllister: I mean, it's so much fun.
- 23:51Sean McAllister: We live in the best city.
- 23:54Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 23:54Sean McAllister: It is a place that is designed for fans.
- 23:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, that isn't that the truth.
- 23:59Dayna Roselli: All right, still to come this week.
- 24:00Dayna Roselli: Um, we're heading over to Caesars Palace to check out Bobby Flay's new brassery B.
- 24:05Dayna Roselli: There could be a chance that we run into Bobby.
- 24:07Dayna Roselli: We'll we'll let you know.
- 24:08Dayna Roselli: Um, we're going to a couple more parties.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: We're probably gonna try and hit the NFL experience at some point.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: We're doing the red carpet at the NFL Honors as well, and gonna grab some great interviews for our well, we've talked about this before.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: We told you that there's a possibility of Vegas Revealed going to television, and and that's 99% sure happening.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: So we're gonna grab some interviews for that.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: But also watch us uh from the Bellagio Fountain CBS Sports Set 9 15 Thursday.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: If you're in LA, we'll be on KCal.
