- 0:02Speaker 1: La La La La La La La La La la La.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Motherfucking can't welcome back to the Give Them La La Podcast?
- 0:14Speaker 1: Did you like what you deserved? Jeff? That was so beautiful?
- 0:19Speaker 1: A little nasally, but it's okay, I'm gonna do what
- 0:22Speaker 1: every girl who can't sing says when they have to perform,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm sick. It's like, no, bitch, you can't sing? What
- 0:31Speaker 1: are you just always sick?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Okay, you're annoying because you can sing. And when someone
- 0:36Speaker 2: like you says every girl who can't sing, and then
- 0:38Speaker 2: people like me who really fucking can't sing, it's like,
- 0:42Speaker 2: hold on a time.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I don't know that I can sing. I can carry
- 0:45Speaker 1: a tune.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I think, no, you can sing, But what did you
- 0:48Speaker 2: sing before? Even when you're joking, you can just tell
- 0:51Speaker 2: because I lived in Nashville and I lived with five
- 0:53Speaker 2: girl roommates who some can sing and some couldn't, And
- 0:56Speaker 2: you can tell even when they're joking. You're like, oh,
- 0:58Speaker 2: you have a good voice under there.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yes, that is so nice. Just keep feeding my ego please.
- 1:05Speaker 1: By the way, I've been locked up. This is the
- 1:07Speaker 1: first time I've come out of the house since Thursday.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Mm hmm, keep in mind today's Monday. So Ocean. I
- 1:18Speaker 1: put her down Wednesday night, put her down to go
- 1:20Speaker 1: to sleep. I get in the bed, I'm watching TV.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I hear her upset, and I always say, like a
- 1:28Speaker 1: lot of people ask did you sleep train Ocean, and
- 1:31Speaker 1: I did, because I feel like, you know their cries
- 1:35Speaker 1: when you have a baby, You're like, I know that
- 1:37Speaker 1: crime means they're hungry. I know that crime means something
- 1:40Speaker 1: is wrong. I know that they've woken up and they
- 1:43Speaker 1: need to self soothe. This cry on Wednesday night was
- 1:47Speaker 1: like something's wrong. So I go in and she is
- 1:49Speaker 1: gasping for air, like she cannot breathe, and every time
- 1:53Speaker 1: she lets out. Here's the thing. I didn't know she
- 1:56Speaker 1: was okay, but it was a good sign for me
- 1:58Speaker 1: that she was screw because if she weren't screaming and
- 2:03Speaker 1: she really couldn't breathe, I don't know that that would
- 2:06Speaker 1: have been possible. I'm no fucking doctor, but that put
- 2:08Speaker 1: my mind to ease a little bit. So I was
- 2:09Speaker 1: keeping an eye on her what seemed like an hour,
- 2:12Speaker 1: which was really maybe five minutes, before I decided we're
- 2:15Speaker 1: going to the emergency room like something's off. Because I
- 2:18Speaker 1: was watching her. I tried to lay down. I was
- 2:20Speaker 1: steaming up the shower while it was steaming. I put
- 2:23Speaker 1: her on my chest, laid in the bed, and just
- 2:26Speaker 1: the way she was sounding, you could tell she was
- 2:29Speaker 1: having trouble breathing. Now I'm not fucking around. We're getting
- 2:32Speaker 1: in the car. We're going to Cedars. So I'm checking
- 2:35Speaker 1: in and she lets out this cry and then a cough,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and this nurse overhears her and says, how long has
- 2:43Speaker 1: that baby been doing that? I said, I don't know,
- 2:45Speaker 1: because I just got her back. I share custody right now.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I got her at seven, put her down. This is
- 2:52Speaker 1: what I have now. And you know, she was okay
- 2:55Speaker 1: when I picked her up. She seemed a little lethargic.
- 2:58Speaker 1: But I just figured, you know, maybe she had a
- 3:00Speaker 1: long night, maybe shouldn't sleep well the night before. Her
- 3:03Speaker 1: nose was runny. But I was told that my baby
- 3:08Speaker 1: was doing great when she was at the other house. Yeah,
- 3:12Speaker 1: they push her into a room immediately, which, by the way,
- 3:15Speaker 1: the er is filled to the brim right now, and
- 3:18Speaker 1: I think that they look at each patient and go,
- 3:22Speaker 1: how serious is this? They obviously thought Ocean is a child,
- 3:25Speaker 1: it needs to be seen immediately. She ended up having croup,
- 3:30Speaker 1: which when they're infants is very, very scary. Luckily, Ocean's
- 3:37Speaker 1: lungs are developed, so it is something that if you
- 3:41Speaker 1: catch it quickly, is very treatable. They gave her a
- 3:45Speaker 1: steroid to relief relief release the airway because it's where
- 3:52Speaker 1: they get swollen and they have a hard time breathing,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and she was having an attack at this point, so
- 3:56Speaker 1: what she needed was steam or cool air. But I'm
- 4:00Speaker 1: telling you, Jess, they take me back and before you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: they get her into a room and the nurse is
- 4:06Speaker 1: checking her out doing the temperature. I'm standing on because
- 4:10Speaker 1: she didn't want to go with the nurse to weigh her,
- 4:12Speaker 1: so I get on the scale and get off, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: I like, even talking about it now, it was like,
- 4:17Speaker 1: oh my god, this is so scary. Yeah. Yeah, Like
- 4:20Speaker 1: I asked the nurse and is my baby gonna wake
- 4:23Speaker 1: up tomorrow? Yeah? I'm freaking out. And she was so sweet.
- 4:27Speaker 1: She took me into this side room with Ocean. She
- 4:29Speaker 1: was like, your baby's fine. If I didn't think your
- 4:33Speaker 1: baby would wake up tomorrow, do you think that I
- 4:34Speaker 1: would be moving this way right now. That's true, everything
- 4:37Speaker 1: is gonna be fine. But I was like in hysterics,
- 4:41Speaker 1: which obviously was not helping the situation. I'm a new mom.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know what the fuck is going on. All
- 4:46Speaker 1: I know is like my baby woke up and was
- 4:49Speaker 1: having a hard time breathing. I'm so sorry.
- 4:51Speaker 2: No, this is that is probably one of the most,
- 4:56Speaker 2: if not the most terrifying, terrifying things to happen to
- 5:00Speaker 2: as your child is sick, and especially with breathing. That's
- 5:03Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not even a parent, and it makes
- 5:06Speaker 2: my stomach sick. I have a couple questions. One was
- 5:10Speaker 2: Gigi with you.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Thank God, my mom. She was gonna she was going
- 5:15Speaker 1: to change her flight to come back the next day. Yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 1: because she wanted to stay in Utah longer. And she
- 5:22Speaker 1: was like, you know what, I just feel I just
- 5:24Speaker 1: want to I'm just gonna come back. I miss you,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I miss Ocean. Thank God she was there because you know,
- 5:29Speaker 1: she rode in the back with Ocean so she could
- 5:31Speaker 1: watch her and keep an eye on her. Like granted,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I have that mirror, but I just like having another
- 5:36Speaker 1: person when I pulled up to the er, like she
- 5:38Speaker 1: dealt with the car. I went inside, think, God, my
- 5:41Speaker 1: mom was there. That's to keep me calm as well,
- 5:44Speaker 1: because I was losing my fucking mind.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Of course, No, that's incredible, I say. You had texted me.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I think it was at like one am, and you
- 5:53Speaker 2: were texting me about the next day because we had
- 5:55Speaker 2: an appointment for the next day that you had asked
- 5:57Speaker 2: me to cancel. But I put my phone on do
- 6:00Speaker 2: not disturb, which I guess probably isn't the smartest thing
- 6:03Speaker 2: as an assistant. But at night, I love my family,
- 6:07Speaker 2: but they live in New York and at three am,
- 6:10Speaker 2: it's six am there and they'll text and call me,
- 6:13Speaker 2: and I just like it wakes me up, right. So
- 6:16Speaker 2: I woke up that morning to a text and you said,
- 6:18Speaker 2: can we cancel this appointment? I'm in the er with Ocean,
- 6:21Speaker 2: And of course my heart dropped, and you said, so
- 6:24Speaker 2: I didn't freak out. You said, you know, she is
- 6:26Speaker 2: a cough or something. But my first thought was like,
- 6:29Speaker 2: oh my god, Oh my god. I hope Gig flew home.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Gg flew home. She did, And no, you should
- 6:35Speaker 1: keep here. The only reason I texted you so late
- 6:38Speaker 1: was because I know you're an early riser, like, let's
- 6:42Speaker 1: cancel this, yeah, second you wake up, cancel it so
- 6:45Speaker 1: that we're not leaving them hanging.
- 6:47Speaker 2: No only reason, no, I know, but also like I
- 6:49Speaker 2: would I mean, if it were me, I would text
- 6:52Speaker 2: I just I'm just so glad Gigu is there. And
- 6:55Speaker 2: my next question because I don't really know. So you
- 6:57Speaker 2: told me she had croup and to me, I hear
- 7:00Speaker 2: that and I'm like, what is that? Because I know
- 7:03Speaker 2: it's some sort.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Of cough, but me, let me look up exactly what
- 7:08Speaker 1: it is.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, just for the not parents who might not know
- 7:11Speaker 2: what it is, because I hear it, and I'm like,
- 7:13Speaker 2: in some cases it can be really dangerous and in
- 7:16Speaker 2: others it's really light.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Right, So it's like it's an upper airway infection that
- 7:21Speaker 1: blocks breathing and has a distinctive barking cough. So that
- 7:25Speaker 1: is literally And when the doctor came in, he said,
- 7:29Speaker 1: I've had two babies that literally just left with this,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and the baby next door has it right now as well.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So croup and RSV are going around. Okay, just like
- 7:40Speaker 1: be careful, Yeah, wash your hands, if you're feeling sick again,
- 7:46Speaker 1: stay home the next morning or I guess that morning,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I woke up feeling like I had swallowed needles. Right,
- 7:53Speaker 1: And we still get COVID tested for vander Pump, I know,
- 7:56Speaker 1: And literally anytime I go to do someone else's podcast,
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's like I feel like being COVID tested twenty seven
- 8:01Speaker 1: times a week. Yeah, so I knew it wasn't COVID,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but I was like, I'm gonna test again just to
- 8:05Speaker 1: make sure it's not COVID.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But we were.
- 8:08Speaker 1: The whole house was like down for the count Ocean.
- 8:11Speaker 1: After the steroid they gave her.
- 8:13Speaker 2: She was good, she was on a roll.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I was like, well, this kid, I actually felt bad
- 8:18Speaker 1: because I couldn't explain to her why we weren't like
- 8:20Speaker 1: leaving the house, right.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I saw that on your Instagram story. You guys were
- 8:24Speaker 2: hanging out in the house and she would get excited.
- 8:26Speaker 1: At the outside, hands in the air.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It was so sad, But you know what, everything you
- 8:33Speaker 2: did was obviously good because I saw her this morning
- 8:35Speaker 2: and she looks like a new baby.
- 8:37Speaker 1: We went to the pediatrician just to like make sure
- 8:39Speaker 1: everything was good. Ally was good. The biggest bummer was
- 8:42Speaker 1: that we didn't get to go to Teddy Wolfe's birthday party,
- 8:47Speaker 1: which is Pandora's son's firstborn son, firstborn baby. He turned one,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and we didn't get to go because you know, we
- 8:58Speaker 1: were obviously all sick, but it looked fat and it
- 9:01Speaker 1: just would have been I love having Ocean engage with
- 9:04Speaker 1: young kids. It's just really sweet. So I was really
- 9:07Speaker 1: sad that we had to miss that. But you know what, Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 1: all is good.
- 9:11Speaker 2: And she's healthy and you're healthy and Gigi's healthy, and
- 9:14Speaker 2: I'm sorry you had to go through that. But what
- 9:17Speaker 2: a terrifying thing it was. I cannot imagine.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Don't even like, let's just say this. That night, Yeah,
- 9:24Speaker 1: Ocean slept in my bed with me, and I did
- 9:26Speaker 1: not sleep. I was literally up staring at her most
- 9:31Speaker 1: of the night because I was horrified. I can't. She
- 9:36Speaker 1: slept like a little angel baby.
- 9:38Speaker 2: But still, holy moly. Well, it is the season too,
- 9:41Speaker 2: so like you said, wash your hands because I mean,
- 9:43Speaker 2: I guess nowadays, yeah, and vitamins nowadays, it's kind of
- 9:47Speaker 2: always the season. I swear, I've never been more sick.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I told you this, Lole. I've never been more sick
- 9:52Speaker 2: in my life than I have probably this past year
- 9:56Speaker 2: year now.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Tired. Yeah, but I also think it's because there was
- 10:01Speaker 1: that period of time that we all remember where we
- 10:05Speaker 1: were on lockdown, and I think our immune systems are
- 10:08Speaker 1: just they're shot because we haven't had any interaction to
- 10:13Speaker 1: like build it up, you know, right. And again, that's
- 10:17Speaker 1: just what I've been reading. I follow or I look
- 10:20Speaker 1: up a lot of integrative medicine that practices Eastern and Western.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I just love the combination of the two. And that's
- 10:26Speaker 1: what a lot of doctors that practice that type of
- 10:29Speaker 1: medicine are saying, we've been locked down. You're not, you know,
- 10:33Speaker 1: inner we weren't interacting with anybody. Our immune systems were
- 10:36Speaker 1: like sitting there going like we don't have to work
- 10:38Speaker 1: at all, and you know, we're just sitting in a
- 10:40Speaker 1: house all day.
- 10:41Speaker 2: And then we all join the public again, and it's
- 10:44Speaker 2: like everything all at once.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Because I don't think I've been this sick really ever.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I mean I used to go around sick people. People
- 10:51Speaker 1: would tell me I'm sick, and I'm like, I don't
- 10:52Speaker 1: give a shit. My immune system is so on point yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: And it never got sick me too.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I even was telling people because I get COVID for
- 11:00Speaker 2: so long, I was like, ah, you know, it's me,
- 11:03Speaker 2: I'm probably immune. And then I got it, you know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: after everyone I had already gotten it.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So it's just it is what it is. You know,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you don't need to twist my arm to stay in
- 11:18Speaker 1: my house. Right from morning until night, I watched a
- 11:21Speaker 1: lot of reality TV, which is my favorite thing to
- 11:24Speaker 1: do because you guys know, I'm Bravo obsessed. At one
- 11:26Speaker 1: point my mom was like, should we maybe like watch
- 11:28Speaker 1: something else? And I was like, twenty twenty. She was like,
- 11:30Speaker 1: that works. So if it's not Bravo, it's something about murder. Right,
- 11:36Speaker 1: But the new episode comes out tonight of Real House
- 11:39Speaker 1: so I was of Salt Lake and I saw the preview.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I'm just gonning. Okay, let's talk about the episode that
- 11:47Speaker 1: aired last week. Okay, so there's this woman named Angie.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I think they're like somewhat trying to introduce her as
- 11:53Speaker 1: a new housewife because right now she's just like this
- 11:56Speaker 1: random like woman that pops up, but she's stirring up
- 11:58Speaker 1: some drama, so maybe this is like the soft intro
- 12:01Speaker 1: for her. But her husband Chris started a finsta, which,
- 12:06Speaker 1: by the way, I just learned what finsta was like
- 12:08Speaker 1: when she shot Hey, no, why would I have a Finsta? Well,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I need a fake insida. If I need to stock you,
- 12:14Speaker 1: I'm stocking you La La can't pay bitch Obihiah. Well,
- 12:21Speaker 1: I'll just have my friend do it. But he created
- 12:24Speaker 1: a fake Instagram account and he like admits this right
- 12:29Speaker 1: at a dinner table. It's Chris Harrington, his wife Angie,
- 12:33Speaker 1: and then like Meredith Marx and her husband. And I
- 12:37Speaker 1: was judging him so hard.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Why because he like he admitted to creating it to
- 12:43Speaker 2: what to stock people or.
- 12:45Speaker 1: To have friends to out people to. He needed to
- 12:49Speaker 1: defend his wife. And I'm like, so, number one, you're
- 12:51Speaker 1: too big of a pussy to just do it on
- 12:53Speaker 1: your own. Yeah, this is if that were me, this
- 12:57Speaker 1: is where I'd be like, and here's the divorce papers.
- 13:01Speaker 1: There wasn't a box that said you create Finsta accounts
- 13:05Speaker 1: And I ain't down. So in reconcilable difference sights or
- 13:08Speaker 1: whatever that fucking word is, he reconcilably something hard, something
- 13:14Speaker 1: fucking hard that I don't need to know because I'm
- 13:15Speaker 1: never getting married, so I'll never be served divorce papers
- 13:18Speaker 1: or serve them. But I was judging him. I'm like,
- 13:22Speaker 1: what are you doing. I want to crawl in a
- 13:24Speaker 1: hole for you, and like Meredith and her husband were
- 13:27Speaker 1: both also judging him but trying to be nice. But
- 13:30Speaker 1: then their judgment and me co signing on them went
- 13:33Speaker 1: out the window when they showed the preview for tonight's
- 13:36Speaker 1: episode of Meredith and her husband in a bath together, Housewives, Housewives,
- 13:41Speaker 1: Reality TV Personalities. I'm begging you, I am begging you
- 13:47Speaker 1: stop bathing together. We don't want to see it, okay,
- 13:53Speaker 1: and you can sit here.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I'm begging you.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I'm fucking begging you on my knees, stop baiting together.
- 14:02Speaker 1: No one wants to see it. It's not natural, okay,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and even if it were, I don't want to see it.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It's similar to how I feel because there's been many
- 14:10Speaker 1: seasons where producers have been like, well, maybe we can
- 14:13Speaker 1: come with you to therapy, or maybe we can we
- 14:17Speaker 1: can come with you while you meet your sponsor. First
- 14:19Speaker 1: of all, anonymous program, my supponsor's not coming on here.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Number two, you're sitting here saying we're filming your real life.
- 14:25Speaker 1: In real life, I don't invite anyone into my therapy session,
- 14:30Speaker 1: let alone millions of people exactly. So no, you're not
- 14:33Speaker 1: coming in where like I'm bathing with my husband, which, no,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you don't do. You don't fill up a bubble bath,
- 14:39Speaker 1: be like, want to talk shit with me husband in
- 14:41Speaker 1: the bubble bath with some wine? Because this is normal.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I love that you say this because I've never I
- 14:49Speaker 2: have dated guys. Thank god, Kyle's like, bath, what are
- 14:52Speaker 2: you talking about? Absolutely not never I have I'll take
- 14:55Speaker 2: a bath alone. But I've dated guys who like, like, oh,
- 14:58Speaker 2: let's hop in the bath, and I'm always like, what,
- 15:02Speaker 2: First off, if we're gonna do that shower, first, you
- 15:05Speaker 2: have to take at least a ten minute shower if
- 15:07Speaker 2: you're a man. Second, no, because I'm uncomfortable. I can't relax.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You're like penis and balls are just like floating in
- 15:15Speaker 2: the water.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It's all just so unnatural.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You don't do that. Oh my god, that's so funny.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Hold on, Jess, the COVID tester just texted me and said,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I just arrived for testing. You. Are you ready to
- 15:29Speaker 1: test right now? Can you please text them and say
- 15:31Speaker 1: it was supposed to be twelve forty five? Can you
- 15:32Speaker 1: please come to the office. Yes? What is there? Ban
- 15:35Speaker 1: are pump rules? This is real life.
- 15:37Speaker 2: This is real life.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm on TV.
- 15:42Speaker 2: We could keep it on if he comes here. Yeah, okay,
- 15:46Speaker 2: so you are uncomfortable with that? Is that like a
- 15:49Speaker 2: thing they do. I don't see it a lot husbands
- 15:52Speaker 2: and wives bathing together.
- 15:53Speaker 1: It came a thing after Tamra Judge did it with Eddie,
- 15:57Speaker 1: which back then, can I tell you? It's like that
- 15:59Speaker 1: was the og? And by the way, Eddie's hot? So
- 16:03Speaker 1: is Tamra Like they hadn't seen anything, like they made
- 16:06Speaker 1: it a thing before. Like I am convinced they actually
- 16:09Speaker 1: really do bathe together. Okay, she had just divorced her
- 16:14Speaker 1: husband and they were bathing together and like they were
- 16:17Speaker 1: the first of the housewives, so like whatever. Okay, Now
- 16:21Speaker 1: people are like trying to recreate it and it's just
- 16:24Speaker 1: it ain't hitten. Please stop. It's like the one thing
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'll the only time I'll ever beg for anything.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, stop it. I've wondered too about therapy. That's interesting.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So you have the choice if you want the cameras in,
- 16:37Speaker 2: because I'm assumings have a choice. Okay, yes, I'm assuming.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Look if I'm watching a reality show and they bring
- 16:42Speaker 2: me into therapy with them, I'm all in anytime.
- 16:45Speaker 1: A cast member tries to blame production. They cannot legally
- 16:50Speaker 1: force you to do anything.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Okay, okay, got it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: They can suggest things you don't have to do, anything
- 16:56Speaker 1: that you don't want to do.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, especially with you guys, because I haven't I've only
- 17:00Speaker 2: been on the set of one other like reality based show,
- 17:03Speaker 2: which was American Idol. But with vander Pump, I'm like, damn,
- 17:06Speaker 2: the cameras just pop in and you guys do your
- 17:08Speaker 2: thing like it's very much Obviously, American Idol was a
- 17:12Speaker 2: bit different because we just had to be structured. It's
- 17:15Speaker 2: a competition show if you don't like about their lives necessarily.
- 17:19Speaker 2: But with you guys, it's like, and I know I've
- 17:21Speaker 2: said this before, but it's like the cameras show up,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and I mean all you really know is like where
- 17:25Speaker 2: you're gonna be.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, the bathing is just like cringey. Yeah, I'm fast
- 17:30Speaker 1: forwarding because it's just like I don't link the therapy
- 17:35Speaker 1: scenes like, no judgment if you want to film your
- 17:37Speaker 1: therapy session. I'm sure there's a lot of people who
- 17:40Speaker 1: find it very helpful. I personally am bored. I'm fast forwarding.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Are you a bather with any of your past relationships,
- 17:48Speaker 2: did you ever bathe with them?
- 17:51Speaker 1: I had one relationship where it was like, if we
- 17:53Speaker 1: both wanted to take a bath, it was like, well
- 17:55Speaker 1: then move the fuck over because I'm getting into it.
- 17:57Speaker 2: It wasn't like a sensual realm, not at all.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Now, if we're showering together, I'm trying to hang on
- 18:03Speaker 1: to the head of a shower. Boom ba boom ba boom. Right,
- 18:06Speaker 1: we're showering together. It's about a gold But the bathison is.
- 18:10Speaker 1: The bath is just like I'm not a corny person.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I feel like a soup when if I'm in there
- 18:16Speaker 2: with someone else, just that we're just like a stew and.
- 18:19Speaker 1: By the way, like I know my bathing habits. So
- 18:21Speaker 1: when I get into a bath, you know how most
- 18:23Speaker 1: people are like baths are gross because you're sitting in
- 18:25Speaker 1: your own filth. It's like, no, because I know how
- 18:28Speaker 1: many times a day I bathe. Yes, so I'm just
- 18:31Speaker 1: sitting in goodness, I don't know what the fuck you do.
- 18:34Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So I'm trying to take a shower. I'm not trying
- 18:38Speaker 1: to bathe in your filths.
- 18:40Speaker 2: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah, So there's that. There's my two sents. Also what
- 18:44Speaker 1: I've noticed, and I love Real Housewives of Salt Lake. Yeah, okay,
- 18:48Speaker 1: Like I think they are amazing. However, there's there's an
- 18:55Speaker 1: art all right too, when a camera sitting there watching
- 19:01Speaker 1: you do your thing before, like your friend comes over
- 19:04Speaker 1: and you start like unpacking the night before whatever it
- 19:08Speaker 1: may be. They haven't conquered that art yet making something
- 19:12Speaker 1: seem natural. Yeah, like when they're just sitting at home right,
- 19:17Speaker 1: like you feel like, okay, they know that there's a
- 19:19Speaker 1: camera in your house and it's a little weird, right.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Is this how you feel about all of the housewives
- 19:24Speaker 2: are just salt Lake?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Just salt Lake right now? Because I feel like it's
- 19:29Speaker 1: the newest. Unfortunately for me, I haven't watched you By yet,
- 19:33Speaker 1: and I think that is like the newest of the housewives.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But everything else with Salt Lake, I mean I just
- 19:39Speaker 1: co sign on all of it because number one, I'm
- 19:42Speaker 1: from there, so like they can do no wrong in
- 19:43Speaker 1: my eyes. That part, I I you can just tell
- 19:46Speaker 1: it's new.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to say I did, because I see
- 19:50Speaker 2: clips like I tell you on social media, and I
- 19:54Speaker 2: saw your skin product give them a less skin in
- 19:58Speaker 2: one of the store Oh yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 1: In the episode Heather Gay pulls together her staff meeting
- 20:06Speaker 1: for beauty lab. Yeah, and they're right in the background
- 20:10Speaker 1: while she's talking is give them a La skin with
- 20:12Speaker 1: our gorgeous green zen packaging.
- 20:15Speaker 2: It was beautiful. I did see that, and I was like,
- 20:17Speaker 2: oh my god, look, I know how cool? Was that awesome?
- 20:19Speaker 1: No, that was awesome. I've been watching so my mom
- 20:22Speaker 1: has never seen throwback Real Housewives before. Okay, so I
- 20:27Speaker 1: started her on Beverly Hills first season. Yes, and you
- 20:31Speaker 1: watch Camille Grammar, who, by the way, first season, I
- 20:35Speaker 1: think she would even admit she's insufferable. It's so bad, right,
- 20:43Speaker 1: she divorces that person who maybe she was exhausted by it.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Sometimes when you cut the fat, you become who you
- 20:50Speaker 1: really are, right right, or you watch yourself because reality
- 20:53Speaker 1: TV really is the ultimate mirror, going. Oh, I don't
- 20:56Speaker 1: like what I'm seeing at all, but this franchise and
- 21:02Speaker 1: what it has done for these women. Yeah, who the
- 21:05Speaker 1: fuck is Kelsey Grammar? I don't know. I know, we
- 21:08Speaker 1: all know Camille though after Real Housewives.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Right, hold on, you're saying Kelsey Grammar's related to Camille.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That was her husband, she maybe leaves her on the
- 21:19Speaker 1: show Season one.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Kelsey Grammer, the actor Yes Freezer, are you Yes?
- 21:24Speaker 1: And the whole reason she would talk about like doing
- 21:28Speaker 1: the show and how Kelsey wanted her to like come
- 21:31Speaker 1: into her own come out in my shadow, like show
- 21:34Speaker 1: yourself off and what you do on a daily basis.
- 21:38Speaker 1: And I was just sitting there going, Wow, the Real
- 21:41Speaker 1: Housewives franchise really has just like done wonders for these women.
- 21:46Speaker 1: They're the stars. Yeah, their husbands may have been like
- 21:50Speaker 1: the quote unquote rich ones providing these lifestyles, and then
- 21:54Speaker 1: these women who are shown like holding it down. They're gorgeous,
- 21:59Speaker 1: their mom and now they're starting brands and it's like
- 22:02Speaker 1: these husbands are little bitch boys now following them around,
- 22:07Speaker 1: and I personally love it. I shouldn't call them bitch
- 22:11Speaker 1: boys because it's actually really sweet to watch these husbands
- 22:14Speaker 1: be so supportive and not well some of.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Them, some of them, because I've seen a couple where
- 22:18Speaker 2: I've been like, I would never allow my husband to
- 22:22Speaker 2: be on a reality TV show if he acted this way.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I'm not. It shouldn't be a blanketed stem. And I
- 22:28Speaker 1: mean Chris Harrington, who's like just shy of a real
- 22:31Speaker 1: Housewives husband creating fins does I don't co sign embarrassing.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I would have never admitted that, Chris. You should have
- 22:38Speaker 1: gone to the grave with that one.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, gone to the grave with his wife just like
- 22:45Speaker 2: shocked or do you think she already issues?
- 22:47Speaker 1: It was like him admitting to creeping around. Yeah, it
- 22:52Speaker 1: was like looking at him, like admitting a problem is
- 22:56Speaker 1: the first step, you know.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I say this time, but I need to watch Housewives.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I need to just like I need to watch it,
- 23:05Speaker 2: Like I watched Kardashians religiously because every time I see clips,
- 23:10Speaker 2: I'm like, this is the best show.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And by the way, it's the clips yeah of Housewives. Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: the episode is just as good. I have seen so
- 23:19Speaker 1: many clips of Kardashian stuff and I'm like, this looks amazing,
- 23:22Speaker 1: great season. I made it through maybe three minutes of
- 23:26Speaker 1: the first episode and turns it off. I was like,
- 23:29Speaker 1: I'm not interested a lot of the highlights.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So you could see clips of Kardashians and be like,
- 23:33Speaker 2: oh my god, this is incredible, let's watch it, and
- 23:36Speaker 2: then you watch the episode and you're like, oh, but.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm sure the Kardashians don't give one fuck if I'm watching,
- 23:41Speaker 1: because for me not watching, they have a million others
- 23:45Speaker 1: fill in from my lack of watching.
- 23:47Speaker 2: COVID tester just arrived. Should I have him? Should I?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah? Go grab him? Well okay, yes, for.
- 23:52Speaker 2: The listeners, COVID tester said that he was told twelve fifteen.
- 23:57Speaker 2: We were told twelve forty five. So let's say I'm
- 24:00Speaker 2: going through the text right now to see who is right. Okay,
- 24:04Speaker 2: h I just want to give you the heads up
- 24:06Speaker 2: that we're testing Monday at twelve forty five. Is what
- 24:09Speaker 2: Kurt said. So it looks like, Kurt, we love you,
- 24:13Speaker 2: but thank you have a good one.
- 24:18Speaker 1: So you know what behind the scenes is like a
- 24:22Speaker 1: reality TV show. Just a classic case of miscommunication, Just.
- 24:26Speaker 2: A classic case of miscommunication. Kurt, I would like to
- 24:30Speaker 2: know if you're listening to this. Ooh, this is a
- 24:32Speaker 2: good test to CEV listens to your podcast. Kurt is
- 24:35Speaker 2: a producer on Vendor Pump Roles. Kurt, you better come correct,
- 24:39Speaker 2: You better come correct, and I'll see me after this. Kurt,
- 24:41Speaker 2: let us know. Was it you're bad for telling us
- 24:44Speaker 2: twelve forty five or was it the tester's bad? I
- 24:46Speaker 2: guess TBD either.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Way, we got it done. We had some questions, yeah
- 24:55Speaker 1: leak in. Oh what a.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Here's a trickle trickle in lead in?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Uh from people that listen to the podcast. Yeah, here
- 25:07Speaker 1: should we talk about some of them?
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the tea on the questions and comments. You guys, like,
- 25:14Speaker 2: I've told you about my personal so my personal Instagram,
- 25:19Speaker 2: I don't look at my DM requests a lot. But
- 25:23Speaker 2: when I do, if it seems mean, I won't even
- 25:25Speaker 2: click on it. If it seems nice, like I'll click
- 25:28Speaker 2: on it and respond.
- 25:30Speaker 1: So I haven't.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I'm backed up in messages, I know, Like I looked
- 25:34Speaker 2: at a message on Sunday where someone gave me a
- 25:37Speaker 2: compliment and then like three days later was like, well
- 25:41Speaker 2: forget it. Then if you're not going to respond, and
- 25:42Speaker 2: I'm like, I just don't look at them a lot.
- 25:44Speaker 2: So with the podcast, I try and look at those more.
- 25:48Speaker 2: So if I don't, if me or Lala don't respond,
- 25:52Speaker 2: it's only because there's there's a lot, so I go like,
- 25:59Speaker 2: for instance, we might read some comments about the Beard
- 26:04Speaker 2: episode and yeah that's where we're at. So thank you
- 26:08Speaker 2: guys for dming the podcast. I look as much as
- 26:11Speaker 2: I can, you guys, are the greatest with all of
- 26:13Speaker 2: these like awesome, nice messages, and sometimes we'll have episodes
- 26:17Speaker 2: like this where we can just respond.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I think you're right on theme with the podcast, which
- 26:22Speaker 1: is Tangents.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Okay, let's see so okay, this is from Danielle. I'm
- 26:30Speaker 2: just gonna say their first name in case they don't
- 26:32Speaker 2: want to be hurt.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I like that idea.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But Hi, Lala and Jess, Hi Danielle getting caught up
- 26:37Speaker 2: on podcasts and I'm listening to it, blah blah blah.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I can tell you that I went to a dermatologist
- 26:42Speaker 2: because my chin flash around my lips was always irritated.
- 26:46Speaker 2: She asked if my husband had a beard, and he does,
- 26:49Speaker 2: and I'm telling you I limit kissing him on the
- 26:52Speaker 2: lips now. Lol. I haven't had any irritation since.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Oh no, this is so bad because I love the
- 27:00Speaker 1: usual hair is so much. It's the beard.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I wonder if there's a message in here that says.
- 27:06Speaker 1: By the way, I've curtailed my making out. Yeah, and
- 27:09Speaker 1: my skin around my mouth is completely clearing up, like
- 27:13Speaker 1: I won't even lie.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah, really yes, yeah, and actually I can see it. However,
- 27:18Speaker 2: I didn't see that it was breaking out. But when
- 27:20Speaker 2: you said it's breaking out, I didn't see it, but
- 27:21Speaker 2: it doesn't mean it wasn't there.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And I always know that it's something sketch, yeah, because
- 27:27Speaker 1: I did back in the day. Have to get accutained.
- 27:30Speaker 1: It's something different. Now it's called something different, But like
- 27:33Speaker 1: if you watch season four and five, my skin is
- 27:37Speaker 1: so bad, really so bad, and I couldn't get it
- 27:41Speaker 1: under control, and I thought it was like my diet.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I thought it was this, that and the other, to
- 27:46Speaker 1: the point where I was like, I'm going to a dermatologist.
- 27:48Speaker 1: They got to fix me, like something is off inside,
- 27:52Speaker 1: and then they put me on the medication and it
- 27:55Speaker 1: cleared up. So when I have a breakout, I'm like,
- 27:59Speaker 1: we it's more topical rather than like the deep deep
- 28:03Speaker 1: not saying I never get those anymore, but it's not
- 28:06Speaker 1: like uncontrollable, right, That's why I knew. Yeah, I'm like,
- 28:09Speaker 1: it's got to be the freaking beard because this is irritation.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's definitely yeah. Okay, Gina says, Hi, any
- 28:18Speaker 2: chance you will ever restock the merch dying for a
- 28:21Speaker 2: brand new hoodie?
- 28:23Speaker 1: That's an amazing question. And yes, we are. We are
- 28:26Speaker 1: one restocking. I actually just got a bunch of the
- 28:29Speaker 1: restocked goods. Restocking goods. I think we'll restock during the
- 28:35Speaker 1: holiday season and we'll have more merch.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Black Friday and heads up you guys. If Lala
- 28:41Speaker 2: ever has another pop up pop up again like she
- 28:45Speaker 2: did in New York City with Shopify, that is also
- 28:49Speaker 2: where you'll get your hands on last pop up we
- 28:52Speaker 2: did limited edition. We did like no one had ever
- 28:54Speaker 2: seen it before. Brand new hoodies.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, my merch is so bomb. Okay, I know
- 29:01Speaker 1: that it's mine, So I sit here and I tooted.
- 29:03Speaker 1: It's torn all day. The quality of my merch versus
- 29:06Speaker 1: other people's march. I mean, I'm not trying to shit
- 29:08Speaker 1: on anyone else's march, like do your thing, boo, but
- 29:11Speaker 1: I'm super proud of.
- 29:13Speaker 2: No yours is the brand new hoodie I have. I
- 29:15Speaker 2: have the pink one. I it's very few pieces of
- 29:19Speaker 2: clothing that I will wear and sit at home and comfy,
- 29:22Speaker 2: cozy like I wear the uncomfortable hoodies out because they
- 29:27Speaker 2: look cute, but the super comfortable hoodies I wear like
- 29:29Speaker 2: at home. And that's what I do with the brand
- 29:31Speaker 2: new hoodie.
- 29:31Speaker 1: So you just wear it at home for no one
- 29:33Speaker 1: to see.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I wear it at home and I wear it out too.
- 29:37Speaker 2: But it's one of those things where like you get
- 29:39Speaker 2: home from work and you want to put on something
- 29:40Speaker 2: cozy and sit on the couch.
- 29:41Speaker 1: It's my brand new hoodie, all right, Well I wear
- 29:43Speaker 1: mine out and about you do? Okay, Well, obviously start
- 29:46Speaker 1: doing my egotistical ass. You catch me in that brand
- 29:49Speaker 1: new hoodie? Like, is that all she wears? Probably you'll
- 29:54Speaker 1: see it on this upcoming season. I'm sure he's so vague.
- 30:00Speaker 1: You know that this motherfucking song is about me, about me?
- 30:08Speaker 2: See you when I tell you about this.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I'm in such a good mood. It's rainy, gloomy. I'm
- 30:13Speaker 1: on a hundred today.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Lala loves the gloomy days.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Me sad. But I looked up to the sky today
- 30:18Speaker 1: and I was like, why what all freaking weekend that
- 30:21Speaker 1: I've been inside? You give me sunshine? A glorious morning
- 30:26Speaker 1: makes me sick type day? And then I gotta go
- 30:30Speaker 1: out and about to work on a Monday, and you're
- 30:31Speaker 1: gonna give me this fabulous weather. Shake in my hate.
- 30:37Speaker 2: It's kimmick. Glorious morning makes me sick type day.
- 30:42Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm gonna start saying this. Okay, Gary as a man
- 30:49Speaker 2: with a beard, Yes, I wash mine lol, And I
- 30:51Speaker 2: use face wash, shampoo and conditioner.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Yo, he got a good beard, face wash, shampoo and conditioner.
- 30:59Speaker 2: But I'm also gay, so I do the most. Oh
- 31:02Speaker 2: care bear, we love you.
- 31:05Speaker 1: But I'm also gay, so I do the most.
- 31:07Speaker 2: So I do the most.
- 31:07Speaker 1: I love him so much. Well, the straight men should
- 31:11Speaker 1: take note. Yeah, the straight man.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Should take note. Have you seen that TikTok going around
- 31:15Speaker 2: of the straight men? Tell me you've seen it everyone
- 31:18Speaker 2: who's listening, just.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Because you have to sign me into TikTok because literally
- 31:22Speaker 1: people send me tiktoks And I'm like, well, if I
- 31:24Speaker 1: had Jessica's phone, I could look. I don't, it's not
- 31:28Speaker 1: on my phone.
- 31:29Speaker 2: About the straight men, their partners are like asking them
- 31:32Speaker 2: if they wash their butt crack with soap, and they're like, what.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Do you mean?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Hold on, no, no, no, and they go and they're
- 31:40Speaker 2: like what do you mean and they're like, wash your
- 31:42Speaker 2: Like how do you wash your butt cracked? You spread
- 31:44Speaker 2: the cheeks to you and they're like, no.
- 31:47Speaker 1: You're telling me that a lot and straight men are
- 31:51Speaker 1: not washing where beces comes out.
- 31:54Speaker 2: They said, a lot of them are like they're the
- 31:57Speaker 2: girls or guys. Their partners are like, how do you
- 31:59Speaker 2: wash it? And they're like, I let the water whatever.
- 32:02Speaker 2: I'm disgusted, I know, I asked Kyle, and thank god,
- 32:05Speaker 2: he was like, that's disgusting.
- 32:07Speaker 1: What do you mean? Of course, like it's like the
- 32:09Speaker 1: fucking La River down there.
- 32:11Speaker 2: He's like, of course I watched, but a lot of yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 2: it's like a new trend going around and the women
- 32:17Speaker 2: are like, yeah, it's wild.
- 32:19Speaker 1: And another reason why I don't ever want a male companion. Yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 1: I just want tricks around me and a vibrator. I'm
- 32:27Speaker 1: good and you're good to go.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, this is I belieze. Okay, Lah and Jess
- 32:33Speaker 2: don't know if you will see this, but wanted to
- 32:35Speaker 2: say some things first, probably one of like fifty guys
- 32:38Speaker 2: and the one percent straight lmfaol that listen, and I
- 32:43Speaker 2: gotta say these episodes hit. Oh that's funny, Oh that's
- 32:46Speaker 2: so nice. You and Jess are fucking vibe. That last
- 32:49Speaker 2: episode with you in the Bostix was fire Explosion Emoji,
- 32:52Speaker 2: where it's so good and insightful. Also, just wanted to say,
- 32:58Speaker 2: perfect opportunity, La La, for you to create a beard
- 33:02Speaker 2: oil for your ladies who like their guys with beards.
- 33:05Speaker 1: With your skin line. Wait, we totally should do that.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I need to start looking into ingredients that are like
- 33:12Speaker 1: bomb to bring that on. Apparently I need male butt
- 33:16Speaker 1: crack wash as well. I'm so grossed out. I can't
- 33:19Speaker 1: get my mind.
- 33:20Speaker 2: No, it's wild. He also goes just on to say
- 33:24Speaker 2: I grew up in a household of all women and
- 33:26Speaker 2: just why're different. It's so crazy to hear some stories
- 33:29Speaker 2: about some of these douche lords that were given space
- 33:32Speaker 2: on Earth. I think he's talking about men, which we
- 33:34Speaker 2: you know, feel you And then he said keep kicking ass. Also,
- 33:38Speaker 2: can you get Easton on like a monthly gig to
- 33:40Speaker 2: answer some of your guy follower questions? And girl, I
- 33:44Speaker 2: the love I couldnot agree with them.
- 33:45Speaker 1: One super super exciting news about that stop he will
- 33:52Speaker 1: be a regular guest very very soon, and I'm yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 1: so excited about it because you know what he is.
- 34:02Speaker 1: He's everybody. Yeah does that make sense? Yeah, someone said
- 34:05Speaker 1: that to me the other day. Your brother is me Like,
- 34:09Speaker 1: he's in the world, but he's an outsider and he's
- 34:13Speaker 1: like sitting at brav Ocon and he's like, who the
- 34:14Speaker 1: fuck are these people? But he's like got his eyes
- 34:16Speaker 1: open because he's a man with eyes, and like he's
- 34:19Speaker 1: spilling all the tea.
- 34:20Speaker 2: He's hilarious.
- 34:21Speaker 1: He is hilarious, So he's the best.
- 34:23Speaker 2: He brightens the podcast episodes. He brightens my day.
- 34:26Speaker 1: No one made me happier than Easton.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Do we know if he will eventually because everybody knows
- 34:31Speaker 2: now he lives in Utah. Will he eventually ever be
- 34:34Speaker 2: living here? Or is that not his vibe?
- 34:37Speaker 1: This is my game plan. Okay, let's hear because again
- 34:39Speaker 1: we've spoken about this. We are a very tight knit family. Okay.
- 34:45Speaker 1: My goal is by the summertime, get me and my
- 34:51Speaker 1: family into a house Easton moves out to LA. I
- 34:56Speaker 1: want to live with my family all right, and until
- 34:58Speaker 1: that changes where I feel like it's time to start
- 35:01Speaker 1: dating or whatever it may be, because right now I'm
- 35:03Speaker 1: taking it day by day. And by the way, this
- 35:06Speaker 1: could also change what I would like at this point
- 35:09Speaker 1: in time. Get a nice house for me and my family,
- 35:13Speaker 1: a yard for ocean, us all be living together, and Easton,
- 35:18Speaker 1: you know, being a co host on the podcast. I
- 35:21Speaker 1: love that just because I why the hell not.
- 35:23Speaker 2: He's hilarious, funny, and like you said, he's kind of
- 35:28Speaker 2: the every person Like we're both women, which is great.
- 35:33Speaker 2: But I think a lot of men who listen to
- 35:35Speaker 2: your podcast, whether gay or straight, I think that perspective
- 35:38Speaker 2: is appreciated.
- 35:39Speaker 1: It is, And yeah, we're both chicks. But Easton is
- 35:42Speaker 1: very I mean he's so sweet, right, I know. And
- 35:47Speaker 1: he grew up around my dad who treated women amazing,
- 35:53Speaker 1: my older brother who is like very sweet when it
- 35:56Speaker 1: comes to women and what they want in life, like
- 35:59Speaker 1: they just uplift women. So Easton is a man who
- 36:03Speaker 1: obviously has a male perspective.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but everyone.
- 36:09Speaker 1: You could throw him in a room with anybody, all
- 36:12Speaker 1: walks of life and everyone is gonna leave going I
- 36:16Speaker 1: fuck with that kid. Oh my god.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Yeah, Like Kyle asks all the time, how is he?
- 36:19Speaker 2: Because he spent most of Ocean's birthday talking to Easton.
- 36:22Speaker 2: He's like, I love that guy. I'm like, yeah, he's
- 36:24Speaker 2: the shit. Everyone loves him.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Everyone loves him, Everyone loves him.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Oh my god. This just gave me an idea. Tell me,
- 36:31Speaker 2: how fun would it be if when Easton moves here,
- 36:35Speaker 2: we make a little psa to all of the single
- 36:38Speaker 2: women living Okay, this could be, we could do it
- 36:40Speaker 2: over the podcast. All of the single women living in
- 36:43Speaker 2: this area has to be within like an hour and
- 36:45Speaker 2: a half of LA tops. And we have them apply
- 36:49Speaker 2: okay to go out on a date with Easton, and
- 36:53Speaker 2: you and I go through applications. No hard feelings, but
- 36:57Speaker 2: we have a specific application with a specific questions and stuff. Yes,
- 37:01Speaker 2: we don't tell him, we tell him it's happening about
- 37:04Speaker 2: check as well. Yes, we go through. We pick like
- 37:07Speaker 2: ten ladies okay, and we document the journey on the podcast.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Oh my god, let's do that, and then we set
- 37:12Speaker 2: them up with dates and then see if any of
- 37:13Speaker 2: them hit the girl.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Also, yes, because if it becomes something, they have to
- 37:19Speaker 1: be okay with living with us. Because at some point,
- 37:25Speaker 1: or I'm just in my mind, I know that this
- 37:27Speaker 1: is going to happen. At some point, I'm going to
- 37:29Speaker 1: be able to go out and afford like an amazing
- 37:33Speaker 1: home with wings and guest homes and shit. So there's
- 37:37Speaker 1: gonna be like a Burningham compound as there should be.
- 37:41Speaker 1: And you know what, whether you become my partner, my
- 37:44Speaker 1: mother's partner, Eason's partner, you're gonna have to be down
- 37:47Speaker 1: to all live together. Yeah, you'll have your separate area
- 37:50Speaker 1: to like go do your thing. If you don't want
- 37:51Speaker 1: to see us, you don't have to. But like I
- 37:53Speaker 1: need to be in like walking or maybe yelling distance. Yeah,
- 37:56Speaker 1: at all times.
- 37:58Speaker 2: That would be so fucking fun. I'll be I'll be in.
- 38:01Speaker 2: There's ocean's best friend, best the ocean, invite me in.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yeah, we're we're like a pot of orcas. All right,
- 38:09Speaker 1: we're swimming together till the death.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Oh my god, that'd be so fun. Okay, so TBD
- 38:14Speaker 2: on that.
- 38:15Speaker 1: A lot.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I've already gone through six of you asking what the
- 38:20Speaker 2: Sugar Baby documentary. Here's the thing I was asked.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I never saw it, so I was.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Asked this on my personal I mentioned it last right.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I was asked this on my personal page pay Instagram
- 38:32Speaker 2: DMS a couple days ago, and I looked and searched
- 38:35Speaker 2: because this was this was before the pandemic, you guys,
- 38:38Speaker 2: this was like years ago. But I will say so,
- 38:42Speaker 2: I searched and searched, and I cannot find it. I
- 38:45Speaker 2: don't know if it was on like Roku or like
- 38:48Speaker 2: you too. I don't know what it was. I remember
- 38:49Speaker 2: watching it with Kyle, and he tried to find it.
- 38:52Speaker 2: But I do know this, if you search for it,
- 38:54Speaker 2: I'm still looking for it, and I'll let you know
- 38:55Speaker 2: as soon as I know. It wasn't It was episodic,
- 38:59Speaker 2: but there was only one episode on the sugar Babies.
- 39:02Speaker 2: It was one of those shows that was like ten
- 39:04Speaker 2: episodes in one season, but each episode.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Was something about something different.
- 39:09Speaker 2: So the episode on sugar Babies was like episode three
- 39:12Speaker 2: to five. It was one of those, but it was
- 39:14Speaker 2: just one. So it was just I'll try and find out.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I've been looking like crazy. We can't find it, but
- 39:21Speaker 2: I'll let you know because I know a lot of
- 39:22Speaker 2: you have been asking and I can't mind it.
- 39:24Speaker 1: I don't know, we're all I'm very intrigued. I know
- 39:26Speaker 1: I got a I mean, even getting that message.
- 39:31Speaker 2: I was like, you're like, WHOA, Yeah, I know, okay.
- 39:35Speaker 1: I didn't know that was the thing, the sugar babies.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I learned about sugar babies when I was being called
- 39:39Speaker 1: a sugar baby.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Really, it's interesting. I think I knew it was a thing,
- 39:45Speaker 2: and this is like no offense to anyone. I ended
- 39:47Speaker 2: up finding out about it was a thing because when
- 39:49Speaker 2: I was in high school. I used to be obsessed with,
- 39:52Speaker 2: not saying these are sugar babies at all, but the
- 39:55Speaker 2: Playboy girls. I used to be like the bunny. I
- 39:58Speaker 2: would I had the necklace, I had a purse with
- 40:00Speaker 2: little Bunny. My parents once they found out what it was,
- 40:04Speaker 2: they took all that shit away, but for a little
- 40:06Speaker 2: while I was able to wear it because they just
- 40:08Speaker 2: thought it was a cute one.
- 40:09Speaker 1: I know, I know we all did, yes, right old
- 40:11Speaker 1: age of fourteen rocking the Playboy Bunny necklace from Claire's.
- 40:15Speaker 2: And I remember watching Girls next Door So Good, not knowing,
- 40:21Speaker 2: not putting two and two together that they dated Hugh Hefner,
- 40:25Speaker 2: and then I saw them kiss and I was.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Like, yeah, shocking, what is going on? But it was
- 40:30Speaker 1: amazing back then, and then cut to where we are
- 40:33Speaker 1: today and you find out not so amazing.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so their feedback from the ladies.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Well just like what it was like behind closed doors.
- 40:42Speaker 1: I know, you know, I know does something to your
- 40:44Speaker 1: mental state. And I, yeah, haven't done a lot of research.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I just have seen again headlines and things like that,
- 40:53Speaker 1: and I just think if a chick says even something
- 40:58Speaker 1: is simple as I felt uncomfortable.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm listening to you of course, Yes, of course,
- 41:05Speaker 2: And just because I know we'll get DMS on this,
- 41:08Speaker 2: Yes I have. I do know that Holly and Bridget
- 41:13Speaker 2: Holly and Bridget, Yes, have a podcast out and that
- 41:17Speaker 2: it's called Girls Next Level, And I think the first
- 41:19Speaker 2: two episodes they really dive into like uncomfortable moments and
- 41:23Speaker 2: stuff like that. So it's really good.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I feel like it's so important for women to voice
- 41:27Speaker 1: how they've been affected by certain people, Yeah, because there
- 41:31Speaker 1: are so many women who feel so alone and like
- 41:34Speaker 1: they can't share, and again, that does something to your
- 41:37Speaker 1: mental state. Right, So when you hear someone like Holly Madison,
- 41:42Speaker 1: who was like at the top, right, Yeah, everyone knew
- 41:46Speaker 1: who she was. She looked like she lived this glamorous
- 41:48Speaker 1: life and she was, you know, like comfortable with her sexuality.
- 41:53Speaker 1: When you hear her and her trauma, just there's something
- 41:58Speaker 1: about not feeling alone sounds so cheesy.
- 42:01Speaker 2: No, it doesn't sound cheesy at all.
- 42:02Speaker 1: When you feel like you're not by yourself on an island. Yeah,
- 42:06Speaker 1: that's powerful.
- 42:07Speaker 2: The amount of times they say that, and they say
- 42:10Speaker 2: like because at the time, there wasn't a lot of
- 42:12Speaker 2: I'm talking about Bridget and Holly is, there wasn't social media.
- 42:18Speaker 2: So when they learned about when their show came out,
- 42:22Speaker 2: Girls next Door and they found the message boards on
- 42:26Speaker 2: the e website, Holly said she thought they were She
- 42:30Speaker 2: was like, oh, they were getting so much hate, and
- 42:32Speaker 2: she was like, oh my god, we are the only
- 42:34Speaker 2: people hate us. She had no idea any other She's like,
- 42:37Speaker 2: I didn't know celebrities and people on other TV shows
- 42:40Speaker 2: got hate because we didn't see that online. So literally
- 42:44Speaker 2: all I saw was us getting hate, and I thought
- 42:46Speaker 2: we were like the most hated girls of the world.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, oh my god, I I did the
- 42:52Speaker 1: horrific move of whenever. By the way, so on my
- 42:55Speaker 1: own Instagram page, like if I if I click on comments,
- 42:59Speaker 1: there's maybe two or three that aren't very nice and
- 43:01Speaker 1: the rest are just really positive. Because a normal person
- 43:04Speaker 1: follows you because they like you, Yeah, because they want
- 43:06Speaker 1: to hate on you. If I see someone else has
- 43:09Speaker 1: posted me, avoid the comment section. Because I clicked on
- 43:12Speaker 1: the comment section and people were being so unkind about me,
- 43:18Speaker 1: and I had to number one. I prayed yeah after
- 43:22Speaker 1: like because it was festering in me and I was like, God,
- 43:25Speaker 1: I need you to like take like release me from
- 43:29Speaker 1: the bondage of self, right, And I had to tap
- 43:35Speaker 1: into like this is what every person in the public
- 43:37Speaker 1: I go through. It's not just you, all right, So
- 43:41Speaker 1: shake it off, bitchy, Yeah, shake it off.
- 43:44Speaker 2: We won't go in it again. Although we got I
- 43:46Speaker 2: just went through multiple dms that were like we loved you.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Going in on Pam, I was like, for a second,
- 43:52Speaker 2: I was like, who's Pam.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Oh, Pam? Yeah? Yeah, I was like I did go
- 43:56Speaker 1: in on Pam.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:00Speaker 1: And by the way, I want to make a correction
- 44:02Speaker 1: because I was like, call me when you're driving a
- 44:04Speaker 1: Rolls Royce and live in Beverly Hills. Even that, all right,
- 44:07Speaker 1: even that because at some point, like I just know
- 44:09Speaker 1: that I'm gonna be able to go and do those things. Yeah,
- 44:12Speaker 1: this is what I really want to say. Call me
- 44:15Speaker 1: when you're living on Venus taking a spaceship. That impresses me.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I don't know one one bitch, not one bitch who's
- 44:23Speaker 1: flying around in a spaceship going to their home in Venus.
- 44:26Speaker 2: That's true, right, But on that same note, if you're
- 44:30Speaker 2: still acting the way you are, Pam, I'm not fucking impressed.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Maybe Laala's impressed. You could. You could own on in
- 44:36Speaker 2: the moon, you could literally.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Make your own You're still ming all right, and you're.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Still being an asshole.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Fuck off me, little old me from vander Pump Rules.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Thanks for watching, Pam God tune in next season season ten.
- 44:55Speaker 1: La LA's back at it again.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Good Lord, Like you have said in the past, you
- 45:02Speaker 2: appreciate all of your pair.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Can I tell you what I learned? Well, I do
- 45:05Speaker 1: appreciate all my fans. Yeah, before we sign off, Yes,
- 45:08Speaker 1: I'd like to start doing a segment in this podcast
- 45:11Speaker 1: where each episode, at the end, I talk about what
- 45:14Speaker 1: I learned this week. Oh, this week, so I celebrated
- 45:19Speaker 1: my fourth birthday for sobriety, and what happens. So I
- 45:22Speaker 1: have little groups of like little sober sisters, and what
- 45:26Speaker 1: happens is sometimes you go to a meeting and you
- 45:29Speaker 1: get more than one cake, right, Like I'll go to
- 45:31Speaker 1: a meeting here and like, my sponsor will give me
- 45:33Speaker 1: a cake. And then one of my friends who's also sober,
- 45:35Speaker 1: is like, do you want to go to this meeting?
- 45:36Speaker 1: I want to give you a cake tonight. So I
- 45:39Speaker 1: met up with one of my friends. I won't say
- 45:41Speaker 1: her name because it's anonymous, but she's just like brilliant, Okay,
- 45:48Speaker 1: the way that she practices her program, she has what
- 45:52Speaker 1: I want. So I went with her, and what happened
- 45:57Speaker 1: during my sobriety. I practice a twelve step pro I
- 46:01Speaker 1: a few years ago was on the ninth step, and
- 46:03Speaker 1: my steps I take a while because there's just a
- 46:06Speaker 1: lot to unpack. And there was a moment in July
- 46:11Speaker 1: of twenty twenty where I realized that I was attacking
- 46:16Speaker 1: my partner at the time a lot verbally, and I
- 46:19Speaker 1: then realized I have resentment that I have to work through. Okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: so we went back to my fourth step. I've been
- 46:27Speaker 1: on it ever since because the pile up of resentments
- 46:31Speaker 1: just kept happening. Cut to where we are today. I
- 46:33Speaker 1: have more resentments than I've ever had, and I don't
- 46:37Speaker 1: even know where to start on this step because I've
- 46:40Speaker 1: said to my sponsor, right now, it just has to
- 46:44Speaker 1: be enough for me to not drink, because I'm not
- 46:48Speaker 1: ready to like go like it's going to be pretend,
- 46:51Speaker 1: and then that could jeopardize my sobriety.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 46:57Speaker 1: So I was having a conversation with my friend before
- 47:00Speaker 1: this meeting and a few other people who are in sobriety,
- 47:04Speaker 1: and I explain this to her, and she said to me,
- 47:06Speaker 1: you now have the luxury, Lalla, of not having to
- 47:10Speaker 1: take on his shit. It's his, it's his true. You
- 47:15Speaker 1: now get to say I'm done with all of this,
- 47:20Speaker 1: it's not mine anymore.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Yeah, And you don't get to choose how God holds
- 47:29Speaker 1: people accountable. So she said, that's where you start, she said,
- 47:34Speaker 1: And if you think that your God isn't going to
- 47:36Speaker 1: hold someone accountable, you need to find a bigger God.
- 47:39Speaker 1: So go back to the drawing board. What does because
- 47:42Speaker 1: that's what we practice an AA. You walk in and
- 47:45Speaker 1: sometimes it doesn't hit right for people because there's a
- 47:47Speaker 1: lot of talk about God. What you won't hear, So
- 47:51Speaker 1: open your ears when you're in the room. You get
- 47:53Speaker 1: to create your own. It looks different for everybody. What
- 47:57Speaker 1: is greater than yourself and everything else that exists on
- 48:01Speaker 1: the planet? Right? Yeah, So I've started working through my resentments.
- 48:08Speaker 1: She sent me an amazing I want to tell you, guys,
- 48:11Speaker 1: if you're struggling to download this app, which I just downloaded.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I can't even believe I've been sober for four years
- 48:18Speaker 1: and didn't know about this freaking app. It's called twenty
- 48:21Speaker 1: four hours, and they give you AA thought of the day,
- 48:24Speaker 1: meditation for the day, prayer for the day, and guess
- 48:27Speaker 1: what today's was all about? Resentments? WHOA?
- 48:32Speaker 2: I know, how strange is it just for people in AA?
- 48:36Speaker 2: Correct the app?
- 48:37Speaker 1: You know what? I feel like the AA program, even
- 48:40Speaker 1: though it's alcoholics anonymous, the program in itself is really
- 48:44Speaker 1: just becoming a better human being. I think everyone could
- 48:48Speaker 1: benefit from, like reading the AA book, the Big Book.
- 48:54Speaker 1: So that was really nice. That was a huge step
- 48:58Speaker 1: in my program because my life when I go to
- 49:02Speaker 1: work on a reality television show, yeah, is not quite
- 49:07Speaker 1: in alignment with my program. It's my livelihood and what
- 49:11Speaker 1: you're seeing with We actually did an episode for the doctors,
- 49:16Speaker 1: doctor Daniel Poor and doctor Laky. They asked, what we
- 49:20Speaker 1: see on TV is at who you are? It absolutely
- 49:23Speaker 1: is who I am when you put me in that situation.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Just like if I were to put anyone with someone
- 49:28Speaker 1: they didn't connect with in a room, what would it
- 49:31Speaker 1: be like? Guess what in real life if I don't
- 49:34Speaker 1: fuck with someone, I certainly am not going to a
- 49:36Speaker 1: dinner party with you exactly, I'm not coming. Yeah, I
- 49:40Speaker 1: don't want to be around you, So you're not gonna
- 49:42Speaker 1: see that side of me for vander Pump. You are
- 49:46Speaker 1: seeing who I am in a situation. So when people
- 49:50Speaker 1: say I met Lala last night, she's totally different than
- 49:53Speaker 1: what I see on TV. She's so nice, it's like, yeah,
- 49:56Speaker 1: what you think I'm just I'm gonna roll up on
- 49:58Speaker 1: you and call you a fucking bitch. Yeah no, because
- 50:02Speaker 1: I'm a normal person. It may not seem like it
- 50:04Speaker 1: all the time.
- 50:05Speaker 2: And like you've said, you said a couple episodes ago,
- 50:08Speaker 2: it's a ten to fifteen to twenty episode season and
- 50:12Speaker 2: you you film for months. So the stuff they pick
- 50:16Speaker 2: and choose, everything that makes it on the show is
- 50:19Speaker 2: the most emotionally heightened thing, whether or not it's anger
- 50:23Speaker 2: or you know, it's sadness or this and this and
- 50:27Speaker 2: that and like, so it could make one look like,
- 50:29Speaker 2: oh my god, she's screaming one day and the next
- 50:32Speaker 2: day she's breaking down, Like this chick is emotionally unstable
- 50:36Speaker 2: or whatever. I'm not saying that's how it looks, but
- 50:38Speaker 2: you know, I'll watch reality shows and see that and
- 50:41Speaker 2: be like damn. But it's like they're picking and choosing
- 50:44Speaker 2: all of the most entertaining quote unquote great moments. Yeah,
- 50:48Speaker 2: they filmed you for months, so then you meet you
- 50:50Speaker 2: in person and yeah, you're chill, You're like cool, you're
- 50:54Speaker 2: behind I like you. Yeah, you're just like a nice
- 50:58Speaker 2: You're hilarious, which I always wish they show more of
- 51:01Speaker 2: how funny you.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Are, but that's another story.
- 51:04Speaker 2: So yeah, that's amazing though. I love that you have
- 51:07Speaker 2: those people in your life. And what would you tell
- 51:10Speaker 2: someone struggling with Maybe they're not ready to go to AA,
- 51:14Speaker 2: but they they're just in this. I mean, what's the
- 51:17Speaker 2: next step do you have to get yourself ready? I
- 51:20Speaker 2: personally have a family member who I was just talking
- 51:22Speaker 2: to about this and they said, I'm not ready to go.
- 51:24Speaker 2: They struggle with alcohol, and they said, but I'm not
- 51:26Speaker 2: ready to give it up. I can't give it up.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Well, then at that point in time, there's nothing you
- 51:30Speaker 1: can do because there's nobody that can get you sober,
- 51:33Speaker 1: and there's no one that can keep you sober. That
- 51:36Speaker 1: is something that you have to want desperately. And that's
- 51:40Speaker 1: what I've found with most people in AA is you
- 51:43Speaker 1: hear about all of their rock bottoms looking very different,
- 51:48Speaker 1: but at the end of each person's story. This person
- 51:53Speaker 1: was begging to be sober. For the most part. There's
- 51:55Speaker 1: actually a lot of people who went to AA on
- 51:57Speaker 1: a court order. And like a woman I heard last
- 52:00Speaker 1: night court order she was in a custody battle and
- 52:03Speaker 1: they said, you better freaking get sober, you better go
- 52:06Speaker 1: to a twelve step program. And thirty eight years of sobriety.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Wow, that's InCred eight years. Yeah, but that shows me
- 52:15Speaker 2: that deep down or somewhere inside of her, she did
- 52:17Speaker 2: want to.
- 52:18Speaker 1: She wanted it. She went into those rooms and she
- 52:20Speaker 1: was willing to hear the message. I love the program.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I think it's awesome, and you're gonna have meetings that
- 52:26Speaker 1: you love and meetings that you're like. I didn't connect
- 52:28Speaker 1: with that, But don't blanket all of them into one
- 52:33Speaker 1: because they're all different, so fine ones that hit. If
- 52:35Speaker 1: you're not ready to go in the room, get on Amazon,
- 52:38Speaker 1: order the big book. Just start reading, highlight what resonates
- 52:41Speaker 1: with you, and you're gonna know when you're ready. But
- 52:44Speaker 1: I will say, sobriety is the biggest gift you could
- 52:48Speaker 1: give yourself. So there's my tangent of that I'm working.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I've officially decided I am ready to work through my resentments.
- 52:57Speaker 1: How funny. Four years sober and I'm working on step
- 53:00Speaker 1: for you.
- 53:00Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Before I met can you where's just the number?
- 53:04Speaker 2: Can you skip steps? I don't know really? Okay, so
- 53:07Speaker 2: you have to. You could be on one step for
- 53:09Speaker 2: years sometimes.
- 53:10Speaker 1: I've been on Step four since July of twenty twenty.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Okay, so you can so.
- 53:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's everyone's program is different. That's what's so
- 53:19Speaker 1: great about it. Find a sponsor who works the program
- 53:23Speaker 1: the way it it. It's tailored to you. Right, So
- 53:27Speaker 1: I personally would not skip steps. That's just me. It's
- 53:31Speaker 1: a lot of work.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, because rats, I know I've said it these
- 53:34Speaker 2: past three episodes now, but it's I mean, it's incredible.
- 53:37Speaker 2: And we didn't even get to the messages. I'm sorry
- 53:40Speaker 2: about all of you.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Sorry I went on.
- 53:42Speaker 2: No, No, I get to the messages about people just
- 53:44Speaker 2: praising you for your sobriety and saying thank you for
- 53:48Speaker 2: how much you've helped to them. So I know you
- 53:50Speaker 2: get them a lot, but it's one day I'll print
- 53:53Speaker 2: them out and give them all to you because they're
- 53:54Speaker 2: really sweet.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Well, I would love to like have a little like
- 53:58Speaker 1: even just a book of messages about sobriety because it's
- 54:02Speaker 1: the best thing that's ever happened to me, the best
- 54:04Speaker 1: gift I've ever given myself. And just to see people
- 54:09Speaker 1: opening up to me about something that is like you're
- 54:13Speaker 1: in your most vulnerable state when you're admitting that you
- 54:15Speaker 1: have a problem, right, So it's humbling. It's humbling to
- 54:20Speaker 1: know each birthday, even just each day that passes. I'm proud,
- 54:25Speaker 1: but I'm humbled because the work never stops. You cannot
- 54:29Speaker 1: cure an addiction. So it's like we hit four years
- 54:33Speaker 1: and we got until the grave to go. Like that's
- 54:36Speaker 1: a humbling fact.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Right, and which could be to me that could seem
- 54:41Speaker 2: sometimes unbearable, but you always say one day at a time,
- 54:44Speaker 2: one minute at a time. Yes, yeah, So I think
- 54:47Speaker 2: that's incredible. Oh and we do want to do I
- 54:51Speaker 2: know a lot of people have asked you and which
- 54:53Speaker 2: you can do when you're ready, but they want to
- 54:55Speaker 2: hear your sobriety story again. So when you're ready, we
- 54:57Speaker 2: can do an episode of you just saying how you
- 55:00Speaker 2: got there, talking about because a lot of people have
- 55:02Speaker 2: said we'd love her to do a sobriety episode where
- 55:05Speaker 2: she just talks about it all.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Oh I love that.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let's do it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: You guys, I want to thank you so much for
- 55:12Speaker 1: listening to another episode of the Give Them La La Podcast.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I love you all very much. Happy hump Day, and
- 55:19Speaker 1: I will catch you next week
