- 0:22Speaker 2: Hey, Hey, what's going on y'all?
- 0:24Speaker 3: This is your boy, mister His Hop and this is
- 0:27Speaker 3: at His Hop radio station right now. We are out
- 0:31Speaker 3: and about with the podcast. We are connected with the.
- 0:34Speaker 2: LVB and M Business Mixer.
- 0:37Speaker 3: You know, we do this every month and this has
- 0:40Speaker 3: been nothing but amazing. It is a spot where we
- 0:45Speaker 3: come together and we network in the local area. And
- 0:52Speaker 3: we were holding these events at the Santa Fe Hotel
- 0:56Speaker 3: and Casino, and now we moved it to a college.
- 0:59Speaker 3: We're in the college, the Nevada College, I believe, don't
- 1:04Speaker 3: quote me just yet because it's a new location and
- 1:06Speaker 3: I'm still getting this in my brain right but as
- 1:11Speaker 3: we do tonight, you can call this the Business Networking
- 1:14Speaker 3: Podcast here.
- 1:16Speaker 2: On the radio station.
- 1:17Speaker 3: As we talk to local business owners, see what's going on,
- 1:21Speaker 3: see what they have to offer. There may be a
- 1:23Speaker 3: service or a connection that you need tonight. So make
- 1:29Speaker 3: sure you keep it locked, stay with us until the
- 1:33Speaker 3: very end, and make sure you download the app, Hi
- 1:38Speaker 3: shop and all platforms His Hot Radio and also make
- 1:43Speaker 3: sure you check out our website his Hot Nation dot
- 1:47Speaker 3: com and check out the Business Networking podcasts yes, all right,
- 1:53Speaker 3: I'll be back with some amazing guests. All right, y'all,
- 2:00Speaker 3: just as I promise, you know, we like to deliver
- 2:03Speaker 3: on our promises. We are speaking to some amazing people
- 2:07Speaker 3: in the community today, and today I have Anthony Bolden.
- 2:12Speaker 2: He's sitting in the hot seat right now. He's gonna
- 2:14Speaker 2: be our first one.
- 2:14Speaker 3: He's actually our guest speaker for tonight, so I'm honored
- 2:18Speaker 3: to get him before he has to go and do
- 2:20Speaker 3: his speaking. So he has a background in finances. He
- 2:24Speaker 3: teaches people how to take control of their finances. And
- 2:28Speaker 3: trust me, my ears are tuned in because I need
- 2:31Speaker 3: to take more control.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So Anthony, how you doing tonight?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Brother?
- 2:35Speaker 4: Doing great?
- 2:36Speaker 5: Thank you doing great?
- 2:38Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Well, Anthony, first thing I'm gonna ask you is you're here.
- 2:42Speaker 3: You're the guest speaker at this LV and M business mixer.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Tell us what do you think about this mixer? And
- 2:50Speaker 3: what do people miss when they don't show up to this?
- 2:54Speaker 5: They miss an opportunity to network, tell people about their business,
- 2:59Speaker 5: get ideas for and swap businesses because everybody's got different
- 3:03Speaker 5: ideas and when they come to meet other business people,
- 3:06Speaker 5: that's how you collaborate and get more business.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yes, yes, it's all about relationships and networking, all right,
- 3:13Speaker 3: So tell us a little bit about what you do
- 3:18Speaker 3: and maybe share a little bit about what the top
- 3:20Speaker 3: key's topic is going to be tonight. Don't share it all,
- 3:24Speaker 3: just just you know, give us a little taste.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Well, my topic is financial hostage negotiators. How's the German
- 3:30Speaker 5: if you need one. I started off in the financial
- 3:33Speaker 5: services industry years ago, but somehow I discovered that a
- 3:38Speaker 5: lot of people are being harmed financially. It's not bad
- 3:42Speaker 5: markets or bad products, it's just so people are avoiding
- 3:46Speaker 5: the tough questions and the tough conversations. And when you
- 3:49Speaker 5: avoid the conversations that are need to have, then plans
- 3:53Speaker 5: look good on paper, but in real life they're fragile.
- 3:56Speaker 5: So I want to make people aware of what's missing
- 3:58Speaker 5: so they can make better decision.
- 4:01Speaker 3: That is awesome, That is amazing, and that is a
- 4:04Speaker 3: service that is well needed because you know, they don't
- 4:07Speaker 3: teach us about finances in school, you know what I mean,
- 4:10Speaker 3: And most of our families that we grow up in,
- 4:13Speaker 3: they really didn't teach.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Us about finances.
- 4:16Speaker 3: So having somebody out there on the front lines, really
- 4:19Speaker 3: trying to reach our community to teach us that. I
- 4:22Speaker 3: think that is something that is well needed. So I
- 4:25Speaker 3: appreciate you for doing that. So tell us where can
- 4:29Speaker 3: people contact you if they want to know more about
- 4:33Speaker 3: what you're doing.
- 4:34Speaker 5: My company is Bolding and Associates. Our phone number is
- 4:39Speaker 5: seven Zerold two five one five seven four two eight.
- 4:45Speaker 5: They can call my office and inquire about what's available
- 4:48Speaker 5: as far as opportunities.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 4:52Speaker 2: That is amazing. So do you have any last comments?
- 4:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 4:55Speaker 5: What I want to do is bring more transparency that's
- 4:58Speaker 5: missing to the financial world. This is why I do
- 5:01Speaker 5: what I do because we're told a lot of truth,
- 5:03Speaker 5: but not the whole truth.
- 5:06Speaker 3: That is awesome. That is awesome, all right, and.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask you to do one more thing for me.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Our network is called His Hop Radio because it's a
- 5:18Speaker 3: Christian hip hop station, and I want you to give
- 5:22Speaker 3: me a mic job. Basically, say, hey, this is Anthony
- 5:24Speaker 3: Boulding and you're listening to his Hop Radio.
- 5:29Speaker 2: You need that for us.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Hello, this is Anthony Boulder and you're listening to His
- 5:35Speaker 5: Hop Radio.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Awesome. That was perfect, brother. I appreciate that man. That
- 5:53Speaker 3: was Anthony. We appreciate him. He's our guest speaking for tonight.
- 5:58Speaker 3: If you didn't come, you're not gonna hear the full message.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So make sure you guys get connected to this mixer
- 6:07Speaker 3: so you can catch them on the next time around.
- 6:11Speaker 3: All right, all right, you know, before we let him go,
- 6:14Speaker 3: he just told me that he has a book. So
- 6:17Speaker 3: once you go ahead and tell us about this book
- 6:19Speaker 3: and where we can buy it.
- 6:21Speaker 5: The book is called The Wealth of Truth and it's
- 6:23Speaker 5: on Amazon, The Wealth of Truth by Anthony Bolden. And
- 6:27Speaker 5: this book is written for those people who say I'm
- 6:29Speaker 5: following all the rules, I'm doing what I'm supposed to
- 6:31Speaker 5: do financially, but something's missing, something's not right.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Awesome, awesome man, me, I'm an audiobook guy.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Is in audio form too.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I have it in a kindle and paperback right now.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Audio's coming, okay, all right, well, I'm definitely gonna get it,
- 6:50Speaker 3: all right, John's keep it locked, all right, y'all. All right, y'all,
- 6:56Speaker 3: this is your boy, mister his hot And like I said,
- 6:59Speaker 3: we are out.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Here showing love in the community.
- 7:03Speaker 3: We're at the Lving Business Mixer talking to business owners
- 7:08Speaker 3: and professionals. And so the one we have up next
- 7:12Speaker 3: is Russell and Russell is gonna tell us what he does.
- 7:17Speaker 3: And Russell, first of all, I want to ask you
- 7:22Speaker 3: what do you think about the Lving Business Mixer and
- 7:25Speaker 3: what are people missing when they don't come out to this.
- 7:28Speaker 4: They're missing a lot of things.
- 7:29Speaker 6: And I think it's an excellent opportunity for people to
- 7:33Speaker 6: network and also learn about the business courses that they
- 7:37Speaker 6: have hearing in the state of Nevada right here, right
- 7:41Speaker 6: there in this place where you can actually go and
- 7:45Speaker 6: learn about business for free, as long as you're a
- 7:48Speaker 6: Nevada resident.
- 7:50Speaker 4: That is huge.
- 7:52Speaker 6: And as you can hear, you can hear in the
- 7:54Speaker 6: background people out there networking because this is a networking event.
- 8:02Speaker 6: I'm working directly with the founder of the expo, Paula Jackson,
- 8:08Speaker 6: and this has been amazing.
- 8:11Speaker 4: This is.
- 8:13Speaker 6: Something that should you should stop by and see it.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Off of McDaniel Street.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I appreciate that. I couldn't think of the name
- 8:21Speaker 3: of the street. Yeah, this is off of McDaniel's. This
- 8:24Speaker 3: is the Nevada College right or.
- 8:26Speaker 6: The Reno Nevada Reno Extension Campus off of McDaniel Street.
- 8:33Speaker 6: So it might be a little bit difficult to find,
- 8:36Speaker 6: but you will if you come into the parking lot,
- 8:39Speaker 6: and you will see a police substation and other businesses
- 8:44Speaker 6: before you see the college campus itself.
- 8:47Speaker 2: All right, all right, I appreciate that.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Like I said, this is a new location and
- 8:52Speaker 3: so we're gonna get it all down. But right now, Russell,
- 8:55Speaker 3: tell us a little bit about you and what.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Do you do?
- 8:58Speaker 6: Okay? So I am an entrepreneur. I have multiple things
- 9:04Speaker 6: underneath my umbrella. On my right side, as I say,
- 9:08Speaker 6: I breathe orthopedics. I have done orthopedics for almost forty
- 9:13Speaker 6: years and people come to me for consults and advice
- 9:19Speaker 6: because I help them bridge the gap between themselves and
- 9:24Speaker 6: the provider by giving them information that they can use
- 9:30Speaker 6: when they go to visit the doctor. And then on
- 9:33Speaker 6: my opposite side, which is just as fun, I love
- 9:37Speaker 6: to connect. So one of my mantras is I listen,
- 9:42Speaker 6: I walk, I talk, I do, Come and holler at
- 9:46Speaker 6: me if you want me to help you. And then
- 9:48Speaker 6: also I have the number one Korean skincare line in
- 9:53Speaker 6: the urorld. Reminds all natural and they actually make this
- 9:59Speaker 6: on an eye with lava water, tiger grass, a whole
- 10:04Speaker 6: bunch of different ingredients in order to take care of
- 10:07Speaker 6: your skin. In multiple different ways.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Man, I like that. Do you have any samples tonight?
- 10:13Speaker 3: I that's a selfish question. There you go?
- 10:18Speaker 4: How far can I go?
- 10:20Speaker 7: Here?
- 10:20Speaker 4: You go? Yeah? How about that? Yeah?
- 10:26Speaker 3: He says, skin't care. You know what I mean? So amen?
- 10:30Speaker 2: All right, yes, number one, come on.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Now, that's awesome and over eighteen countries. That is awesome,
- 10:39Speaker 3: my brother. We appreciate that. So how can people look
- 10:43Speaker 3: you up? How do you have a website? How can
- 10:46Speaker 3: they purchase your skincare products?
- 10:49Speaker 6: I do have a website, but you can reach me
- 10:51Speaker 6: directly seven two five three zero five zero zero two five.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Once again, seven two five three zero five zero zero
- 11:01Speaker 6: two five.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Please leave your name and number.
- 11:04Speaker 6: I will get back to you as soon as I
- 11:05Speaker 6: can my earliest convenience, and then we can talk about
- 11:09Speaker 6: potentially over the phone or via zoom.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Or face to face, whichever way is comfortable for you.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I like that, the personal touch.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I appreciate that. Now you mentioned that you have multiple businesses.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Now do you this is another selfish question? Do you
- 11:29Speaker 3: have opportunities for people as well to maybe come and
- 11:33Speaker 3: work with you? Do you help people get their businesses up?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Do you coach them or do you have any type
- 11:38Speaker 3: of service like that.
- 11:41Speaker 6: I help people connect people to other people's businesses. For example,
- 11:46Speaker 6: I have a lady that just just came out of
- 11:51Speaker 6: the Navy and so she cybersecurity. So I've been putting
- 11:55Speaker 6: her in touch with people in that field so that
- 11:58Speaker 6: potentially she can have a job and she wants to
- 12:01Speaker 6: move here to Vegas from California. I do things like that,
- 12:06Speaker 6: you know, because once again, it's about community. And if
- 12:10Speaker 6: you're truly about the community, you want to build, you
- 12:13Speaker 6: want to help, and you want to be enthusiastic about it,
- 12:17Speaker 6: and that that's exactly what I do.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Okay, awesome, awesome. All right, We're gonna let you go
- 12:24Speaker 3: because I know you can be busy tonight with this mixer,
- 12:27Speaker 3: but I want you to do one more thing for me.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Give us a.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Mic drop for his hot radio Hi s Hop. So
- 12:35Speaker 3: you just say your name or you know, put a
- 12:38Speaker 3: little plug in there and say you're listening to his
- 12:41Speaker 3: hot radio.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Hey, this is Russell and you're listening to his hot radio.
- 12:47Speaker 6: Come on out meet the man himself. And one more thing,
- 12:53Speaker 6: the Just One Project. If you want to know more
- 12:56Speaker 6: about it, please help, Please get in touch with me
- 13:00Speaker 6: because we're fundraising for them too. This is part of
- 13:03Speaker 6: me up there, connecting in the community.
- 13:05Speaker 4: And thank you. I appreciate it.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Thank you. We appreciate you too, Brother Man.
- 13:10Speaker 2: That was great.
- 13:11Speaker 3: That was our brother Russell. He's a serial entrepreneur. He's
- 13:16Speaker 3: doing great things out here in the community. So keep
- 13:19Speaker 3: a lot to the his radio podcast as we talk
- 13:22Speaker 3: to more people tonight at.
- 13:24Speaker 2: The LVB and M Business Mixer.
- 13:28Speaker 3: All right, all right, we are serving a lot of
- 13:32Speaker 3: value tonight. The amazing people that we are privileged to
- 13:37Speaker 3: talk to. These are local Las Vegas business owners and professionals.
- 13:44Speaker 3: They come together every month to come and pour into
- 13:47Speaker 3: the community. They come out to help people with whatever
- 13:53Speaker 3: vision Guide has placed in their life.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So we're talking to Brenda.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Brenda has I've had her on the before, so I'm
- 14:01Speaker 3: excited to talk to her again tonight. And so, Brenda,
- 14:05Speaker 3: the first question I have for you is what do
- 14:08Speaker 3: you think about this LV and M Business Mixer and
- 14:12Speaker 3: tell people what value do they get when they come.
- 14:16Speaker 8: Well, the first thing about it is I was there
- 14:18Speaker 8: the night that they decided that they were going to
- 14:20Speaker 8: start the business, and I've been here every since because
- 14:24Speaker 8: this is a great place where businesses can come.
- 14:27Speaker 9: And network with one another.
- 14:29Speaker 8: They can get customers, they can get vendors, they can
- 14:33Speaker 8: get people who want to invest in their businesses, but
- 14:37Speaker 8: they get nothing if they don't show up.
- 14:40Speaker 2: That's straight to the point. That is straight to the point.
- 14:44Speaker 3: That's why I like you. You know you're a straight shooter.
- 14:47Speaker 3: And so Brenda, she's gonna talk to us a little
- 14:49Speaker 3: about a pair of legal services, legal Shield, and just
- 14:55Speaker 3: let us know what you got to your topic tonight.
- 15:00Speaker 8: Well, legal shield is affordable legal protection. And as a
- 15:05Speaker 8: small business owner, there are things that happen that you say,
- 15:11Speaker 8: I think I probably would like to talk to an attorney,
- 15:15Speaker 8: but at four hundred dollars an hour, I don't think
- 15:17Speaker 8: this is worth it. And let's say I'm wrong, it's
- 15:20Speaker 8: not four hundred dollars. Let's say it's two hundred dollars.
- 15:24Speaker 8: Still can't afford it, but you still need the help.
- 15:28Speaker 8: So and some of it's very simple, like somebody won't
- 15:31Speaker 8: pay me, or something happened. I think that doesn't sound right.
- 15:39Speaker 3: But I'm not an attorney.
- 15:40Speaker 8: I don't know whether that's legally correct or not.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I just know I'm uncomfortable.
- 15:45Speaker 8: Wouldn't it be nice if I could just ask somebody
- 15:49Speaker 8: who actually knows the answer. And that's what legal shield does.
- 15:53Speaker 8: You are connected to a firm, not to an attorney,
- 15:57Speaker 8: but to a firm who has a lot of different
- 16:00Speaker 8: attorneys because attorneys, like doctors, specialize, and so you don't
- 16:06Speaker 8: want to take your business issue to your divorce lawyer.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Okay, So you want.
- 16:12Speaker 8: To make sure that the question that you ask is
- 16:15Speaker 8: directed to an attorney who that's his focus, and so
- 16:21Speaker 8: you're going to get an answer, and you actually do
- 16:24Speaker 8: get an answer. So I can say personally, I've used it.
- 16:27Speaker 8: I've used it in the last two years. I've used
- 16:31Speaker 8: it twice. And I call up and I say this
- 16:34Speaker 8: is my issue, and they said, we'll have an attorney
- 16:36Speaker 8: to get back to you. It's easy within twenty four
- 16:39Speaker 8: to forty eight hours. I've never waited forty eight hours.
- 16:43Speaker 8: And they actually do get back and they want to
- 16:45Speaker 8: know exactly what my issue is. Send me any documentation
- 16:49Speaker 8: that I have, I just send it to them. They
- 16:53Speaker 8: look it over and they get back to me and said,
- 16:55Speaker 8: this is what I recommend.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Now.
- 16:58Speaker 3: They don't do the work for me.
- 17:00Speaker 8: They give me.
- 17:01Speaker 3: The option of choice.
- 17:04Speaker 8: If you do a These are the consequences if you
- 17:08Speaker 8: do me. These are the consequences. You choose which route
- 17:13Speaker 8: you want to go, and when you decide that, we will.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Be there with you to help you out.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Man.
- 17:19Speaker 3: That is amazing. That is an awesome service, and it's
- 17:22Speaker 3: so needed. It is so especially in a society that
- 17:26Speaker 3: we live in. You know what I mean, because there's
- 17:29Speaker 3: a lot of people that like to pull the wool
- 17:31Speaker 3: over our eyes, if you know what I'm saying. So
- 17:33Speaker 3: we appreciate that. In how can people get in touch
- 17:36Speaker 3: with you or if they want to know more about
- 17:39Speaker 3: what you offer? Is there a website, a phone number
- 17:42Speaker 3: or email address.
- 17:44Speaker 8: I'll give you my text number. That's probably the easiest
- 17:47Speaker 8: way to reach me. It is seven zero two three
- 17:51Speaker 8: zero eight five two seven seven. Let me repeat that
- 17:58Speaker 8: seven zero two three zero eight five two seven seven.
- 18:05Speaker 8: If you have a question or you want to know
- 18:07Speaker 8: more about legal shield. Oh and I didn't to tell
- 18:09Speaker 8: you the good stuff. We also have ID shield.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Oh nice.
- 18:13Speaker 8: And so what's the biggest problem that we have in
- 18:17Speaker 8: our country, whether you're in business or not, this identity theft.
- 18:21Speaker 8: We have a program that covers that too, called ID shield.
- 18:25Speaker 8: So yes, I'd love to hear from you and love
- 18:27Speaker 8: to give you some information so you then have a choice.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Awesome, awesome, Well, Brenda, thank you so much for spending
- 18:36Speaker 3: time with us here on the podcast. I just want
- 18:40Speaker 3: to tell you I appreciate what you do. You know,
- 18:43Speaker 3: I've been coming here for almost three years now and
- 18:45Speaker 3: you've been here every time. Faithfully. You know, you're like
- 18:49Speaker 3: an armor bearer to our sisters. So yes, I appreciate it.
- 18:55Speaker 3: It definitely is. And I've learned a lot since i've
- 18:57Speaker 3: been here. So all right, I know we have the
- 19:00Speaker 3: mixer to get to some goonna. Let you go and
- 19:03Speaker 3: lets you have any last words you want to say.
- 19:05Speaker 3: You're good, Okay, all right, y'all will keep it lock.
- 19:09Speaker 3: This is our radio podcast and sister Brenda bringing value.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Like I said, we deliver and so keep it lock
- 19:17Speaker 3: and we got more people are gonna talk to you tonight.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Got there, all right? All right? As I promised, we
- 19:24Speaker 3: are talking to some amazing people in the community. We're
- 19:28Speaker 3: talking to business owners, We're talking to professionals.
- 19:31Speaker 2: We're talking to people who.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Have a heart to network and give back to the
- 19:36Speaker 3: community here in Las Vegas. This is something that I
- 19:40Speaker 3: believe is rare and this is amazing. And so the
- 19:43Speaker 3: next guest we have is Laura Fairchild and she's been
- 19:49Speaker 3: with the mixer for a while and she's gonna tell
- 19:52Speaker 3: her story and then we're gonna get into what she does.
- 19:55Speaker 3: So Laura, how you doing tonight?
- 19:57Speaker 9: I'm doing pretty good. Thank you very much for having me.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Yes, tell us you know, what do you think about
- 20:03Speaker 3: this amazing event, this business mixer and tell people what
- 20:07Speaker 3: do they get when they actually come out and participate.
- 20:11Speaker 3: This mixer is a.
- 20:12Speaker 7: Really great event. Especially if you're a small business and
- 20:15Speaker 7: you want to promote your business. The trick is to
- 20:17Speaker 7: go out there and meet people and tell them about
- 20:20Speaker 7: your business, because if you just sit in your store,
- 20:23Speaker 7: no one's going to come to you. Or if you've
- 20:25Speaker 7: got a home based business, you need to get out there.
- 20:27Speaker 7: You need to mix and mingle with people, not just
- 20:31Speaker 7: do it like over what we're doing right now, but
- 20:34Speaker 7: actually mix and mingle with people, get to know each other,
- 20:37Speaker 7: because people like to do business with people that they.
- 20:40Speaker 9: Know, like and trust. You don't have that, you're not
- 20:43Speaker 9: going to succeed. So that's what I do.
- 20:45Speaker 7: Is I try to promote not only the Women's Chamber,
- 20:49Speaker 7: of commerce that I'm with right now. But the other
- 20:51Speaker 7: business that I've been with, I've been with Paula and
- 20:53Speaker 7: Sylvester at LVBNM since they first.
- 20:56Speaker 9: Started with another company that I worked with.
- 20:59Speaker 7: We were their main spot and we were there every
- 21:01Speaker 7: single month, backing them up and bringing in new businesses,
- 21:04Speaker 7: showing them what to do and how to do it
- 21:07Speaker 7: so they can increase their business.
- 21:09Speaker 3: That is awesome. That is awesome. And yeah, I've been
- 21:12Speaker 3: with them for about three years now and I love it.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I love the people that we meet, like.
- 21:17Speaker 3: You get to meet the best in our city is
- 21:20Speaker 3: how I look at it. And you know so, Laura,
- 21:22Speaker 3: I love your name, Lord Fairchild.
- 21:24Speaker 2: So tell us about your story.
- 21:26Speaker 3: What do you do well?
- 21:28Speaker 7: My story is, let's see, almost married forty seven years
- 21:32Speaker 7: coming up next month this time next month. My husband
- 21:36Speaker 7: and I we've always worked together. We used to work
- 21:39Speaker 7: in medical and then we went to work for Storage
- 21:42Speaker 7: West Self Storage Company and we became their marketing team
- 21:45Speaker 7: and we took their stories from twenty three stores to
- 21:48Speaker 7: fifty nine stores across four states. During COVID they sold out,
- 21:52Speaker 7: So we both retired and we were very, very busy
- 21:57Speaker 7: and very into all of the chambers that we have
- 22:00Speaker 7: here in Las Vegas, whether it's Hinderson Vegas, North Las Vegas,
- 22:03Speaker 7: We've belonged.
- 22:04Speaker 9: To all six chambers at the time, and it was.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Just getting out there, getting our faces known, talking to people. Yeah,
- 22:12Speaker 7: we were there to promote Storage West, but it was
- 22:14Speaker 7: about getting to meet people and no people so that
- 22:18Speaker 7: if I needed something done, I would know who to call.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Or if you if you called me and said, hey, Laura,
- 22:23Speaker 7: I need a plumber, I could say, Hey, I happen to.
- 22:25Speaker 9: Know a plumber.
- 22:26Speaker 7: Here's you know this person and I know this company personally.
- 22:30Speaker 7: So that's kind of like what I do, you know,
- 22:33Speaker 7: I just I like to talk to people. I like
- 22:37Speaker 7: to mix and mingle, and it really makes a difference
- 22:40Speaker 7: just doing this, just being here, you know.
- 22:44Speaker 3: So yeah, all right, it's amazing. So how can people
- 22:48Speaker 3: get in touch with you? How can people get in
- 22:51Speaker 3: touch with you if they want to acquire your services, Well.
- 22:55Speaker 7: You can go to the Women's Chamber of Commerce on
- 22:57Speaker 7: Nevada dot org.
- 22:59Speaker 9: Or you can go to Laura F.
- 23:01Speaker 7: Laura Fairchild at Women's Chamber Offnevada dot org. And you
- 23:06Speaker 7: can send me an email, send me a text message,
- 23:09Speaker 7: will email send me an email and then yeah, we'd
- 23:12Speaker 7: be glad to talk to you about the Women's Chamber
- 23:14Speaker 7: if you're interested. You don't have to be a woman
- 23:16Speaker 7: owned business to be a member of the Chamber. You
- 23:19Speaker 7: can be anybody. We take, everybody doesn't matter. So yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 7: but we we are here. My husband's actually my partner,
- 23:25Speaker 7: were the Fairchild marketing team for the Women's Chamber of Commerce.
- 23:29Speaker 9: We're exclusive for the Women's Chamber.
- 23:31Speaker 7: But yeah, so you can contact us or just you know,
- 23:35Speaker 7: send us an email and we would love to help
- 23:37Speaker 7: you out and give you some information about the Chamber
- 23:40Speaker 7: if you're interested.
- 23:41Speaker 9: Or just how to network, because I like to see
- 23:44Speaker 9: people succeed.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I don't want you to fail.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Awesome. Awesome, we could use that as well.
- 23:50Speaker 3: You know, we've been in business for about three years
- 23:52Speaker 3: and we have a nonprofit organization.
- 23:56Speaker 2: But I started back in twenty twelve, you know, with a.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Ours is like a faith based you started a Christian
- 24:03Speaker 3: hip hop club for the youth, you know, and so
- 24:06Speaker 3: it was great. We had families come out and everything,
- 24:10Speaker 3: but we had to move out of the club in
- 24:11Speaker 3: twenty eighteen. So we like to reopen and give back
- 24:16Speaker 3: to where we were, so maybe you know we could
- 24:18Speaker 3: talk and see you never know.
- 24:20Speaker 7: I mean, the Women's Chamber is a nonprofit Bible one
- 24:22Speaker 7: C three m C six.
- 24:25Speaker 9: So we get back to girls, high school girls that
- 24:29Speaker 9: want to go to college. We have our fun that
- 24:30Speaker 9: we do every year for them.
- 24:32Speaker 7: So we picked several girls that will receive a fun
- 24:35Speaker 7: from us to go to college.
- 24:38Speaker 9: We're always in the area and trying to.
- 24:40Speaker 7: Do different things for different people. We're working with the
- 24:43Speaker 7: Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada right now. We're trying to
- 24:45Speaker 7: get them back online and everything so they can expand
- 24:49Speaker 7: their and.
- 24:51Speaker 9: The way they train girls now is unbelievable.
- 24:53Speaker 7: They actually have training because we went over to their
- 24:56Speaker 7: main office and we're talking to the ladies and they have.
- 25:00Speaker 9: Training for the girls.
- 25:01Speaker 7: It's not just going and selling the cookies. It's about
- 25:05Speaker 7: succeeding in life and how to start your own business
- 25:09Speaker 7: or how to be a good person and do the
- 25:12Speaker 7: job that you are hired to do and be trained
- 25:15Speaker 7: to do.
- 25:15Speaker 9: And I just think that is so awesome. I wish
- 25:17Speaker 9: I had that when I was a Girl Scout.
- 25:18Speaker 3: I'm like, wait, it's no fair. That is awesome, amazing.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Okay, Well, we appreciate you for spending time with us.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Do you have any last words before we close out?
- 25:33Speaker 7: Just do some marketing, do some networking, and get out
- 25:36Speaker 7: there and show your face.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I says.
- 25:39Speaker 7: We'd love to see you here at LVBNM over here
- 25:41Speaker 7: at the College. It's absolutely wonderful and I'm so glad
- 25:44Speaker 7: that Paula is succeeding and doing LVBNM, the Large Vision
- 25:49Speaker 7: Business Network Mixer.
- 25:50Speaker 9: So check it out, guys.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Thank you, yes, yes, thank you for being with us tonight.
- 25:55Speaker 3: That's our sister, Laura Fairchild, and you hope that you
- 26:01Speaker 3: guys contact her. She has a lot to offer, especially
- 26:04Speaker 3: for the young ladies out there, so keep a lot.
- 26:07Speaker 3: This is your boy, mister His Hop on the His
- 26:10Speaker 3: Hop radio podcast. All right, all right, y'all, Just like
- 26:16Speaker 3: I said, we keep our promises. You have been talking
- 26:19Speaker 3: to some amazing people out here in the Las Vegas community.
- 26:23Speaker 3: This is the LVB and M Business Mixer, and it's
- 26:29Speaker 3: amazing that we do this every month. We were at
- 26:31Speaker 3: the Santa Fe Hotel, but now we are here in
- 26:34Speaker 3: the college doing it, and we have Jennifer here. She
- 26:38Speaker 3: has some great things she wants to share with us tonight.
- 26:41Speaker 3: But Jennifer. First, before we do that, tell us a
- 26:45Speaker 3: little bit about this business mixer and tell people what
- 26:48Speaker 3: can they expect if they come out.
- 26:51Speaker 10: So the mixer here they do an outstanding job supporting
- 26:55Speaker 10: and empowering business owners.
- 26:57Speaker 11: Right.
- 26:57Speaker 10: I feel like a lot of business owners they need
- 27:00Speaker 10: guidance and they can find that here.
- 27:02Speaker 12: Whether that's with me.
- 27:03Speaker 10: I'm actually a small business ankor, but there's a lot
- 27:05Speaker 10: of people that can help, right, And if I just
- 27:08Speaker 10: wanted to let you guys know, if you don't know
- 27:10Speaker 10: where to start, come in here will be a great start.
- 27:14Speaker 10: One a month we meet here and it's free. Come bring,
- 27:18Speaker 10: bring as many people as you can.
- 27:20Speaker 12: We'll be waiting.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Awesome, Thank you, Jennifer. That was amazing.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Okay, So tell us a little bit about what you
- 27:29Speaker 3: a little bit about you and what you got going
- 27:32Speaker 3: with us.
- 27:33Speaker 10: So, I'm actually a small business banker for Western Alliance.
- 27:36Speaker 10: I've been in banking for eleven years now, and we
- 27:39Speaker 10: help business owners, you know, whether they need help starting
- 27:43Speaker 10: a business anywhere to expanding or creating a plan. Right,
- 27:49Speaker 10: I'm here to help, whether that's through lending, opening up,
- 27:52Speaker 10: checking accounts, pay rom merchantcy services, you name it.
- 27:55Speaker 12: I'm here for all those needs, and if I can't.
- 27:58Speaker 10: Help you, I will definitely find someone that can. I
- 28:04Speaker 10: actually have some products that I wanted to share now, Okay,
- 28:08Speaker 10: so I wanted to talk.
- 28:10Speaker 12: About the business and a credit.
- 28:11Speaker 10: It's actually a product that people find too good to
- 28:14Speaker 10: be true. Our annual percentage rates starts at prime plus
- 28:18Speaker 10: point ninety five, which is compared to the other banking institution.
- 28:21Speaker 12: It's actually really really good.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:24Speaker 10: The lineup credit will be open for five years and
- 28:26Speaker 10: there's no annual fee, which is great because if you
- 28:28Speaker 10: decide to have it for emergencies or backup, then you
- 28:31Speaker 10: don't have to pay unless you use it right, and
- 28:33Speaker 10: we require minimum documentation a year, tax returns, your business license,
- 28:39Speaker 10: your idea, and that's it. Within two weeks, you'll have
- 28:42Speaker 10: access to the funds and you can use it, you know,
- 28:45Speaker 10: for any of your business needs.
- 28:47Speaker 12: We also have a bonus.
- 28:49Speaker 10: When you open an account with us and you deposit
- 28:51Speaker 10: twenty five thousand in a checking account, we can pay
- 28:53Speaker 10: you up to seven hundred dollars in your business checking account.
- 28:57Speaker 10: So that's actually something that you know, you can take
- 28:59Speaker 10: a right. But we have something for everybody. If you're
- 29:03Speaker 10: just starting and you have zero business history based on credit,
- 29:08Speaker 10: we can open up a business credit card and we
- 29:11Speaker 10: do a self credit check. And what that means is
- 29:13Speaker 10: we don't run credit right when we open accounts, the
- 29:16Speaker 10: system will do a seft credit check and we will
- 29:19Speaker 10: offer a preapprooved credit card. And that's a great way
- 29:21Speaker 10: to start business credit. What do you think do you
- 29:25Speaker 10: have any questions anything you might want to know?
- 29:27Speaker 2: I think that's amazing.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Is there a limit on the the what is it?
- 29:33Speaker 3: The pre approved credit card?
- 29:35Speaker 10: So when we open accounts it's for newer businesses, the
- 29:39Speaker 10: system will peerapproof a credit card for twenty five hundred
- 29:42Speaker 10: and Yeah. It might seem a little though, but honestly,
- 29:45Speaker 10: for businesses that don't have any history at all, it's
- 29:48Speaker 10: a great start to build credit right and we can
- 29:50Speaker 10: always look into increasing it in the future.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Amazing. Now, do you offer anything for nonprofit organization? No?
- 29:59Speaker 10: At the moment, no, we don't offer Well, we can
- 30:03Speaker 10: still open accounts for them.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, because you know, that was a selfish question
- 30:09Speaker 3: because we're nonprofit organizations. That's why I was asking. And
- 30:13Speaker 3: do you offer any classes or any coaching for business owners?
- 30:17Speaker 12: Not at the moment, but when you call me.
- 30:20Speaker 10: If you when you connect with me, you're actually gonna
- 30:24Speaker 10: get something from me.
- 30:25Speaker 9: Right.
- 30:25Speaker 10: If we're not ready for any of the products that
- 30:27Speaker 10: I mentioned, I can work with you to get you ready.
- 30:30Speaker 10: I'm not just gonna say no, you don't qualify, right,
- 30:32Speaker 10: We're gonna work together until we're there. So the coaching
- 30:35Speaker 10: will come directly from me necessarily, but not a class
- 30:38Speaker 10: that we offer now. But you can always call me
- 30:41Speaker 10: or anyone can actually come me and connect with me
- 30:43Speaker 10: and I.
- 30:43Speaker 12: Will walk you through every step.
- 30:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 30:46Speaker 3: That was my next question was your contact info? Is
- 30:50Speaker 3: there a website, an email address, or a phone number
- 30:53Speaker 3: if someone listening and they would like to go further
- 30:57Speaker 3: with what you offer.
- 30:58Speaker 10: Yeah, you can always go or look up Western Alliance
- 31:02Speaker 10: being customer service number and go and ask for me.
- 31:04Speaker 12: My name is Jennifer Valentine.
- 31:06Speaker 10: I work at the Atlanta office in the North side
- 31:09Speaker 10: of Vegas. But my contact info would be Jennifer Valentine
- 31:14Speaker 10: at Western Alliance Bank, or you can call myself phone
- 31:16Speaker 10: it's seven zero two three three four A five eighty
- 31:18Speaker 10: six and we can connect that way.
- 31:20Speaker 12: But you can also find me on LinkedIn.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Awesome. Thank you for sharing that thanks you for sharing
- 31:26Speaker 3: your contact information. I tell you when you have someone
- 31:30Speaker 3: and I'm just sitting here next to her, and she
- 31:34Speaker 3: seems like so chill. She seems like a person that
- 31:37Speaker 3: you down the earth, that you wouldn't mind hanging out with,
- 31:40Speaker 3: you know what I mean. You don't think like banker
- 31:42Speaker 3: because sometimes you get nervous like, oh, they're going to
- 31:45Speaker 3: approve me or not. But she's real, down to earth
- 31:48Speaker 3: and you can tell she is like a people person.
- 31:52Speaker 3: So I would really, I would personally recommend if you
- 31:57Speaker 3: are looking for that type of service again, in contact
- 32:00Speaker 3: with her and hey, get that help that you need.
- 32:03Speaker 3: And I want to sit down with her too, because
- 32:06Speaker 3: even though we're a nonprofit, I got some other business
- 32:09Speaker 3: ideas and stuff that I want to do as well,
- 32:12Speaker 3: so we appreciate that. I'm gonna ask you one more
- 32:15Speaker 3: thing for the radio station, we're called his Hot Radio, right, Hi,
- 32:19Speaker 3: s h Op, So I'm gonna ask for a mic drop.
- 32:23Speaker 2: And basically a mic drop is, Hey.
- 32:25Speaker 3: This is Jennifer and you're listening to his Hot Radio,
- 32:29Speaker 3: and then you can do that. Then you did that?
- 32:31Speaker 10: Okay, Hi, this is Jennifer and you're listening to his
- 32:34Speaker 10: Hot radio.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, she did it like a professional. Come on, and
- 32:39Speaker 3: so that's actually gonna be in rotation. So people are
- 32:42Speaker 3: gonna actually do another one and just say I'm your
- 32:46Speaker 3: business banker. Contact me at Western Alliance Bank. That way,
- 32:52Speaker 3: when they hear it, they can kind of, you know,
- 32:54Speaker 3: like free advertisement for you.
- 32:56Speaker 12: Hi, this is Jennifer.
- 32:57Speaker 10: I'm your business banker with Western Alliance Bank. Can you
- 33:00Speaker 10: can find me at Western aliinesmank dot com.
- 33:03Speaker 12: And we are here with his hot radio man.
- 33:07Speaker 3: You a pro. Come on now, you didn't need to
- 33:10Speaker 3: practice or nothing. You're just like bam, knocked that right out.
- 33:13Speaker 3: All right, y'all. This is your boy, Mister His Hop.
- 33:16Speaker 3: We're at the lvbn M Business Mixer talking to some
- 33:21Speaker 3: of the best in our community, professionals and business owners.
- 33:26Speaker 3: If you are struggling or if you're trying to get
- 33:29Speaker 3: to that next level, you need to come out network
- 33:32Speaker 3: and mingle and meet people. And so hey, you hear
- 33:36Speaker 3: it on the radio, Now come in person meet your
- 33:39Speaker 3: boy mister his Hop. Keep it locked.
- 33:44Speaker 4: All right, y'all.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Like I said before, this is the LVBING Business Mixer.
- 33:50Speaker 3: You know, we love to come out and show some
- 33:52Speaker 3: local love. It's been a great night. We've had some
- 33:55Speaker 3: amazing people on a podcast tonight and now we've said
- 34:00Speaker 3: the best for last. We have our sister Deblah debbiebbe.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Debbie okay, Deborah, Debbie okay, all right, our sister Debbie
- 34:11Speaker 3: and hey, I'm balad name and she's from Moses amazing
- 34:17Speaker 3: ministry that serves the community. You know, you know when
- 34:22Speaker 3: it's true ministry when they meet the needs of the people,
- 34:27Speaker 3: like they say in the Book of James, right, like
- 34:30Speaker 3: why say be blessed and be clothed and not give
- 34:33Speaker 3: them some clothes? Awaar Right, So that's doing the word
- 34:37Speaker 3: right there. And so first, Debbie, I'm gonna ask you,
- 34:42Speaker 3: what do you think about the LVBN and Business Mixer
- 34:46Speaker 3: and what can people expect once they finally come out.
- 34:50Speaker 11: It's an amazing event. You have to truly come and
- 34:54Speaker 11: visit to see what it's about. We have a lot
- 34:56Speaker 11: of different vendors here, a lot of people with different
- 35:00Speaker 11: organizations that can truly help you. But you can't find
- 35:04Speaker 11: out anything if you don't come out.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Come on, come on. You gotta be a person of action.
- 35:10Speaker 3: And if you're a business owner entrepreneur, then pretty much
- 35:15Speaker 3: you've already taken action. Right, So if you want to
- 35:19Speaker 3: go to the next level and network with people, you
- 35:22Speaker 3: might be that one person that you need to meet.
- 35:26Speaker 3: And right before we got on here, I just met
- 35:28Speaker 3: somebody from her church and we were saying, you know what,
- 35:32Speaker 3: I was here to meet her tonight because she sounded
- 35:36Speaker 3: like a good connection. So all right, tell us a
- 35:40Speaker 3: little bit about what you do, okay.
- 35:43Speaker 11: So what we do is we're Macedonia Outreach Social Enrichment
- 35:47Speaker 11: Services Shorter version MOSES. We've been in existence since two
- 35:51Speaker 11: thousand and eight. God said feed my flock, and that
- 35:56Speaker 11: is what our main purpose is, to feed his flock.
- 35:59Speaker 3: I don't know if you are aware of that.
- 36:01Speaker 11: Over forty three thousand families lost their SNAPS in the
- 36:06Speaker 11: month of March, but due to litigations, it was reinstated
- 36:11Speaker 11: to most of the individuals until April. The end of April,
- 36:16Speaker 11: but they're telling you what you need to do to
- 36:18Speaker 11: keep your benefits. But in the meantime, for those who
- 36:21Speaker 11: have lost your benefits for free to come and visit MOSES.
- 36:25Speaker 11: We service our clients every Thursday beginning at nine am.
- 36:29Speaker 11: We usually end between eleven and twelve.
- 36:32Speaker 3: All we ask for.
- 36:33Speaker 11: Is your current ID in some form of your light built,
- 36:39Speaker 11: gas bill, water bill, and we'll be glad to give
- 36:41Speaker 11: you food. We don't deny anyone of food. That's our
- 36:46Speaker 11: main purpose is to feed you. But we do have
- 36:49Speaker 11: other outreach ministries. We do a back to school event,
