- 0:09Speaker 1: to all the Boys I Loved Movies on Netflix. She's

- 0:14Speaker 1: new movie coming out tomorrow on Prime Video. It is
- 0:18Speaker 1: called The Devil's Mouth. Let me just tell you what
- 0:20Speaker 1: this movie is about. A cave because dare I say,
- 0:24Speaker 1: everyone who gets taken by a shark kind of deserves it.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Five friends sign up for a guide that swim through
- 0:30Speaker 1: a remote cave system on Thailand's stunning coast, but their
- 0:33Speaker 1: quest for fun and adventure turns into a desperate fight
- 0:37Speaker 1: for survival as a bloodthirsty shark starts to pick them
- 0:40Speaker 1: off one by one. They go swimming in the Devil's Mouth.
- 0:45Speaker 1: What did they expect was going to happen? Take a
- 0:49Speaker 1: listen to this and then let's chat Tolana. Wow, this
- 0:54Speaker 1: is Devil's Mouth.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I guess, yeah.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Shark, I'm sorry. How is there a shark in a
- 1:02Speaker 3: freshwater cave system?
- 1:05Speaker 1: For no one's coming for us.
- 1:13Speaker 3: She's the star of the hit movies to all the
- 1:15Speaker 3: boys I've loved before. Here's the thing. I had to
- 1:18Speaker 3: make it look like I like you, so somebody else
- 1:21Speaker 3: think I like them.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Please welcome.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Hi. I'm Lana Condor.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's Lana Condor. Ana.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Wonderful to see you again. How are you? OHI good
- 1:28Speaker 2: to see you.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I'm good. How are you?
- 1:30Speaker 1: I'm great now, except I have an irrational fear about
- 1:33Speaker 1: going in a cave in Thailand.
- 1:35Speaker 2: So thank you? Oh do I so do? I.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I don't even know where to start, but you know,
- 1:40Speaker 1: obviously Australia we're the home of sharks. So normally I
- 1:45Speaker 1: only I don't want to give too much away, but
- 1:47Speaker 1: normally I only swim where I can see the bottom.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And I thought the crystal blue oceans and waters of
- 1:53Speaker 1: Thailand you could see the bottom.
- 1:56Speaker 2: And now sharks lived there.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Oh okay, here's the here's the deal is in the ocean,
- 2:03Speaker 3: it's pretty clear. In the cave systems, you cannot see anything. Okay, yes,
- 2:10Speaker 3: So in those caves, so we filmed. So they built
- 2:15Speaker 3: in these two massive studios, they built the cave systems.
- 2:18Speaker 3: So they built massive, incredible cave systems and these massive
- 2:22Speaker 3: pools that we filmed in but we also filmed for
- 2:25Speaker 3: a few weeks out in the real in nature. Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 3: cave system, all those things that water. You can't see
- 2:34Speaker 3: in those caves. You can't see anything.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Now, do you promise to be honest with me with
- 2:39Speaker 1: this next question? Yes, how pruney did you get?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Okay, so not perny?
- 2:46Speaker 2: What's what's what? What magical bean?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Do you? I spend five minutes in any pool and
- 2:53Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, my hands the so pruney?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Oh no, okay, so great question. That was a major
- 3:00Speaker 3: concern was our skin hitting for me.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Because you're a Hollywood you're sor you're a Hollywood movie style,
- 3:08Speaker 1: like you want to look great. I mean, you want
- 3:11Speaker 1: to make a movie in the water, but you don't
- 3:12Speaker 1: want to look like a prune on carrion.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Aside from that, which is so true and so valid,
- 3:19Speaker 3: but aside from that, like they just I think that
- 3:22Speaker 3: they were like actually consider like worried about our safety
- 3:25Speaker 3: because we were in the water for thirteen hours a day,
- 3:28Speaker 3: so like you you should you know that's a lot
- 3:30Speaker 3: of water for yeah, three months at a time. So
- 3:33Speaker 3: they actually developed this I don't know what it was,
- 3:36Speaker 3: but it was a certain chemical balance with They put
- 3:40Speaker 3: this chemical in the water that combined with the temperature
- 3:45Speaker 3: of the water was anti.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Prune anti prune. Yeah, so we never prune magic.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Do you have any real life fees
- 3:57Speaker 1: with shocks of fee beforehand? Is there any other Do
- 3:59Speaker 1: you have any other real life things that scare the
- 4:01Speaker 1: bejes that you go.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Oh before and after? Horrified of sharks. I must be
- 4:07Speaker 3: a massachist because I don't know why. So yeah, horrified
- 4:09Speaker 3: of sharks. I'm afraid of I mean, Liz, we could
- 4:14Speaker 3: go as deep as you are.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You know, I'll tell you what I'm scared of when
- 4:16Speaker 1: you go on holiday. Bad hotel room.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I'm afraid of, like cameras in a hotel room.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Oh no, I had I've never thought about that.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm afraid of that.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Okay, now see here, I was just talking about Linen
- 4:31Speaker 1: talking about like I was talking about getting in a
- 4:33Speaker 1: hotel room and then you have a garden view, but
- 4:35Speaker 1: you booked the balcony sive view, and now okay, that's a.
- 4:40Speaker 3: For real near fear unlocked. You're welcome.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Okay, I'll take that last question because they're wrapping me.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I was just gonna say self care, obsession, You're an icon,
- 4:49Speaker 1: people like you look great?
- 4:50Speaker 2: What do you do? Tell you go tell me, I
- 4:54Speaker 2: will say.
- 4:54Speaker 3: The only way that I survived the Devil's Mouth was
- 4:57Speaker 3: called plunges. So I did cold plunges every single morning
- 5:02Speaker 3: and that helped my It helped my body, but it
- 5:06Speaker 3: also helped me mentally because getting into that water every
- 5:10Speaker 3: single day for thirteen hours at a time is quite challenging,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and so doing cold pung is really helped my mood.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I love it, Lana, lovely to see you. Thank you
