- 0:01Speaker 1: Jared Katy and Josh Mix one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well, I'm reading this news story this morning, and Katie
- 0:07Speaker 2: was briefly talking about it off the air as well,
- 0:10Speaker 2: and it's resonating with me because my son is all
- 0:12Speaker 2: of a sudden into like urban exploring. Yes, every time
- 0:15Speaker 2: we go buy in an abandoned building, or I told
- 0:18Speaker 2: him the other day, I was like, it's time for
- 0:19Speaker 2: Southwest Plaza to close down.
- 0:21Speaker 3: He's like, you think they'll shut it down and we
- 0:23Speaker 3: can go urban exploring.
- 0:24Speaker 4: Oh.
- 0:24Speaker 3: I was like, you don't want to do that. I
- 0:26Speaker 3: don't need the police calling me.
- 0:28Speaker 2: But yet again another story about some people doing urban
- 0:31Speaker 2: exploring and getting stuck.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because it was this a week ago, they
- 0:34Speaker 1: had to rescue an eighteen year old from an abandoned
- 0:37Speaker 1: missile silo in a Rapahoe County and then firefighters were
- 0:41Speaker 1: back at the property just a week later. Two other
- 0:44Speaker 1: individuals got stuck in the same silo earlier yesterday morning,
- 0:49Speaker 1: and they say it happened around midnight and it was
- 0:51Speaker 1: a twenty eight year old woman and a nineteen year
- 0:53Speaker 1: old man the second time who were stuck sixty feet
- 0:56Speaker 1: down in that abandoned silence terrifying, like pitched a black
- 1:02Speaker 1: dark like it just is terrifying to me. I don't
- 1:05Speaker 1: know why people get such a thrill out of this stuff,
- 1:07Speaker 1: but it is definitely a thing. I mean, you can
- 1:09Speaker 1: watch videos on YouTube of people doing this.
- 1:11Speaker 3: That's part of the problem.
- 1:13Speaker 2: He's on the YouTube's watching all these urban explorers, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 2: with their you know, one hundred thousand followers or whatever,
- 1:20Speaker 2: so he.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Thinks this is gonna make him famous.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah, there's definitely consequences to this stuff, absolutely,
- 1:26Speaker 2: especially if you're like going in old minds and things
- 1:28Speaker 2: like that, you could die.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Well, this specific missile silo the Sheriff's office put on Twitter,
- 1:33Speaker 1: They're like, did you know in this silo there was
- 1:35Speaker 1: hidden hazards like unstable condition, toxic gases, deep vertical shafts, missiles.
- 1:40Speaker 1: There's exactly the last broken stuff. I mean, the fact
- 1:45Speaker 1: that they had to go out there twice for the
- 1:47Speaker 1: same thing. I mean, that's the other thing. We don't
- 1:48Speaker 1: want them to have to expend their They're like, not exactly,
- 1:53Speaker 1: I guess to do.
- 1:54Speaker 3: So this is.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Why I would be a bad first responder, I think,
- 1:58Speaker 2: because if I had.
- 1:58Speaker 3: To go back to the same occasion two or three times.
- 2:01Speaker 2: That fourth time I'd be like, you know what, no pass,
- 2:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna go make some skeady instead. My record has
- 2:09Speaker 2: finally been broken. A bowling green, Kentucky boy has claimed
- 2:14Speaker 2: a Guinness World Record after completing a hopscotch course in
- 2:18Speaker 2: under fifty seconds.
- 2:20Speaker 3: My record has finally been broken.
- 2:22Speaker 2: This little son of a Daxter Hunter, that's a solid
- 2:27Speaker 2: boy's name right there, age nine, drew and finished a
- 2:33Speaker 2: numbered ten square hopscotch course in about forty eight seconds.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Oh he drew and did it.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Yeah, in forty eight seconds he did all that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, my record was fifty seconds. Goodness, good job you
- 2:48Speaker 2: are not Hunter, mister Hunter.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah. So that's going on.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Okay, that's some relevant sports stuff, and here's a local
- 2:55Speaker 2: sports story. Miles, the official mascot of the Denver Brons,
- 3:00Speaker 2: is officially a finalist for the Mascot Hall of Fame
- 3:04Speaker 2: Class twenty twenty six. Now, if you want to vote
- 3:08Speaker 2: for mister Miles, fan voting is open online runs until
- 3:11Speaker 2: midnight on July twenty six. He's up against ten other mascots,
- 3:16Speaker 2: So you can go to the Mascot Hall of Fame website.
- 3:20Speaker 2: If you're really bored today and vote for Miles, or
- 3:23Speaker 2: you can hop onto your socials and he gets bonus
- 3:26Speaker 2: votes by commenting I vote for at fifty to eighty
- 3:32Speaker 2: Miles on the mascot Hall of Fame instagrams or the
- 3:36Speaker 2: Facebook's page mascot He's fine.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I'm kind of special, rockey. I know, yeah, ain't it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Ain't nobody voting for Dinger. No, it just kind of
- 3:47Speaker 3: walks around like an idiot, right.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Dinosaur Dinger's the worst.
- 3:51Speaker 3: There's nothing special about Dinger.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Dinger's just like the He's like a hippopotamus.
- 3:59Speaker 1: He's a choice tops and there's no other dinosaur mascots
- 4:02Speaker 1: in baseball. I don't think so. He's actually very unique lamb.
- 4:05Speaker 3: But he's got no special qualities, is he does. He's
- 4:08Speaker 3: got no special skills.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Need two smiles like Miles will get up on the
- 4:12Speaker 2: top of the stadium with the flag. Rocky throws the thing,
- 4:16Speaker 2: the ball backwards on ladders and sinks it.
- 4:18Speaker 3: True. What does Dinger?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Dude, Dinger probably scratches his button, sniff his fingers.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Carries bats.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He's a little hefty for jumping all up and down
- 4:27Speaker 1: that you know stadium. So anyway, Yeah, I appreciate what
- 4:30Speaker 1: Dinger brings to the table.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Nobody else is going on.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Well, I think it's nice to see humbling moments every
- 4:39Speaker 4: once in a while, because I think we all put
- 4:41Speaker 4: celebrities on a pedestal and think that they can just
- 4:44Speaker 4: get uh really, whoever they want to talk to them right,
- 4:48Speaker 4: like they can get anybody, because they're like, this is
- 4:50Speaker 4: so and so.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Well.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Tom Holland experienced a moment the other day. While he
- 4:54Speaker 4: has been watching the World Cup, like all of us has,
- 4:56Speaker 4: he decided to reach out to the legend Earling haw
- 5:00Speaker 4: Another Holland and boy did he get rejected?
- 5:03Speaker 5: You DM Earling Holland, and he didn't respond to you.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you that you early.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Holland had no idea who Tom Holland was when he
- 5:13Speaker 5: DMS him and asked to hang out. He doesn't watch movies,
- 5:16Speaker 5: so he thought that he was a random person. Tell
- 5:18Speaker 5: us the truth, did you DM Earling Holland.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'll tell you what that is the That
- 5:25Speaker 2: is exactly the type of humbling experience that is important
- 5:29Speaker 2: for actice.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, once they text him, I'll take him
- 5:32Speaker 5: to dinner.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Not even a response, not an excuse, no, I'm busy, scenari,
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm playing football, nada nothing.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Dude has two of the biggest movies coming out right
- 5:44Speaker 4: now with.
- 5:44Speaker 2: British really relate to id he talk like that, Oh yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 2: he does.
- 5:50Speaker 4: A really good American acts and obviously if you've seen
- 5:52Speaker 4: him in the Spider Man series, so he is The
- 5:54Speaker 4: Odyssey and Spider Man coming out this month. And dude
- 5:57Speaker 4: got rejected because Earling Holland actually responded and said, I
- 6:00Speaker 4: I don't watch movies.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I don't know no idea that I thought.
- 6:03Speaker 4: This was just a regular Joe Schmoe sliding into the
- 6:05Speaker 4: DM spite a man.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and he was a man.
- 6:09Speaker 4: And he goes, hey, you know what, despite all of this,
- 6:11Speaker 4: and despite the humiliating moment, he goes that Holland, dude's
- 6:15Speaker 4: still a pretty big legend. He's still pretty cool. I
- 6:17Speaker 4: still like him. Everything's fine and maybe now they can
- 6:20Speaker 4: go get their dinner.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Ah cute. I'm still shocked that he's Britain.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I know, what the heck?
- 6:26Speaker 1: Have I been under a rock no day.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Well, let's get you updated on all the big stories
- 6:33Speaker 2: of the day in the world of celebrity. I saw
- 6:35Speaker 2: this story popping in quite a few places. Yesterday Lenny
- 6:38Speaker 2: Kravitz is on I don't know if he's on the cover,
- 6:42Speaker 2: but definitely an in depth interview in Men's Health.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You Lenny Kravitz fan, Katie.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I love Lenny Kravit too.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Wonder if I should sneaks and Lenny Kravitz.
- 6:53Speaker 1: We should fly away to that.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I do it. I think big yell at me. I
- 6:57Speaker 3: think it too. What's new? Anyway?
- 7:04Speaker 2: They're talking about his workout routine because if you look
- 7:07Speaker 2: at him.
- 7:08Speaker 3: He's sixty two years old, he's jacked.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You never would guess sixty two.
- 7:13Speaker 3: You would never. Never.
- 7:14Speaker 2: He looks like he's thirty something. Honestly, I mean his
- 7:17Speaker 2: abs look like they're twenty years old.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Oh, he looks so good anyway.
- 7:21Speaker 2: One of the things he does when he's training and
- 7:23Speaker 2: working out is he he works out in leather pants.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and hold love smelling.
- 7:30Speaker 2: He's essentially saying, you know, when I perform on stage,
- 7:33Speaker 2: I'm in leather or denom or whatever. He's like, So
- 7:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna train in those pants so I'm comfortable when
- 7:40Speaker 2: I'm on stage.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, Ewoo has a thing and I love it
- 7:45Speaker 1: because I do the same thing he talks about you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: We got leather pants and gages everything by his pants.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He says, if his pants are a little tight, he
- 7:53Speaker 1: knows he's getting out of shape. Denzel Washington gave him
- 7:57Speaker 1: that phrase that the pants don't lie, the pants don't lie.
- 8:01Speaker 1: And I do that too.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I don't weigh myself.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I just gauge how my clothes are fitnymies.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Okay, I love it. Yeah, I love it. You and
- 8:07Speaker 3: Lenny have something in common. So that story is going around.
- 8:11Speaker 2: There's another study revealing the costs of raising a child.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Thank god we're not in California.
- 8:17Speaker 2: They say a kid from born being born to eighteen
- 8:21Speaker 2: is going to cost you about three hundred.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Thousand dollars to raise a kid if you're out in Cali.
- 8:26Speaker 2: We bumped into some people in Cody, Wyoming when I
- 8:30Speaker 2: was up there last week, and Knickknack talked to him.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But it was a mom and her little family and
- 8:35Speaker 2: they were out from California looking for a new place
- 8:38Speaker 2: to live, essentially because she told Nicole, She's like, I
- 8:41Speaker 2: just can't.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Do it anymore. Yeah, we just can't do it in California.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of California.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So DC is also very expensive annually this is saying
- 8:50Speaker 2: ninety thousand dollars a year annually to raise a kid.
- 8:54Speaker 2: That seems really high. By contrast, Arkansas is the affordable state.
- 9:01Speaker 2: It's going to cost you about thirty six thousand per
- 9:03Speaker 2: year to raise a kid out there.
- 9:06Speaker 1: That still seems like I know, like people.
- 9:10Speaker 2: All they're doing is eight and m Chaeto's and spray
- 9:13Speaker 2: cheese out there. Yeah, a lot of them name luxury
- 9:16Speaker 2: meals out in California and.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Thirty six thousand. That's like how much a lot of
- 9:19Speaker 1: them make every year in Arkansas.
- 9:21Speaker 3: That ain't rid.
- 9:22Speaker 1: No, Yeah, that's insane. What does Colorado on the list?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Does it have it on there?
- 9:25Speaker 3: I have to look that up yourself.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Sure, well, okay, sorry, And the.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Final story I have today, doctors are out saying that
- 9:31Speaker 2: it is definitely three things when you touch you should
- 9:36Speaker 2: absolutely one be washing your hands after you touch.
- 9:39Speaker 3: These three things.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Anything with a touchscreen or pin pad like an ATM,
- 9:44Speaker 2: ordering a tablet or ordering on a tablet like at
- 9:47Speaker 2: a coffee shop or restaurant self checkout screens like immediately
- 9:51Speaker 2: go set your hands on fire because they're gross. Going
- 9:54Speaker 2: back to the grocery store, the grocery cart handles. Oh, yeah,
- 9:57Speaker 2: should immediately wash your hands. It's something like if you
- 10:01Speaker 2: start thinking about that, it's gonna it's gonna jack with you.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Like how many thousands of people have that?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Well, now they have the little anti bacteria wipes.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Right there that you can they're always out.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I know they're always always out, ye, but I do
- 10:15Speaker 1: appreciate when they have them because it makes me feel
- 10:17Speaker 1: a little safer little bit.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, and then your phone.
- 10:21Speaker 2: They say you should definitely be washing your hands because
- 10:24Speaker 2: you're just touching your phone, which is picking up germs
- 10:27Speaker 2: everywhere from the bathroom to the gym to you name it.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Where's gas pump handles on here? I would think that
- 10:33Speaker 2: would be another solid one.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Maybe that's like number four or my mother in law, Yeah,
- 10:38Speaker 1: she's number four on the Harry.
- 10:41Speaker 3: What she got?
- 10:42Speaker 1: Hey, we started up in Oravada, So Lucas lives there
- 10:45Speaker 1: and his dog's Sully too, And it looks like they
- 10:47Speaker 1: got a new roommate. We're just gonna call him Boo boo.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Lucas caught a bear it well, you know.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yogi boo, Oh it's a bear.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Let you finish, Yes, a bear and a dog in
- 10:58Speaker 1: his backyard. So Lucas heard Old Sully barking at Booboo
- 11:02Speaker 1: on the back porch and then he snapped a photo.
- 11:04Speaker 1: And this photo is legendary. You have to go see it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It's up on our Instagram stories that Jeremy, Katie, Josh.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Apparently this bear has been spotted in the neighborhood before,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but he looks way too comfortable, way too comfortable. And
- 11:17Speaker 1: we've had a lot of sightings of bear in the
- 11:19Speaker 1: you know, the front range area.
- 11:21Speaker 3: So just be very aware.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Many's what they're saying.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Be very aware out there. You're gonna love this one, Jeremy.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Because Bass Pro Shops are opening their sixth location in Colorado.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I drove past it week. I drove past it and
- 11:35Speaker 3: I was like, another.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yes, okay, thank you God, you're right coming back from
- 11:39Speaker 1: Wyoming and.
- 11:40Speaker 3: It's right now those place.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Who doesn't I mean so fun? You know the fact
- 11:44Speaker 1: that the younger generation is grasped onto it, the way
- 11:47Speaker 1: they have wearing the bass Pro hats and everything. I mean,
- 11:50Speaker 1: they had like time not only outdoor excuse me, stuffs,
- 11:54Speaker 1: but they have a whole fashion section in there now.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for the Bass Pro Shops. This one is
- 12:01Speaker 1: I twenty five and Crossroads Boulevard up there in Loveland
- 12:05Speaker 1: Camot Camp. You really, I can't even see them.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I'm wearing them.
- 12:10Speaker 1: No, nice little bikini cut, I get it. It's gonna
- 12:14Speaker 1: be one hundred and thirty thousand square feet, so that's
- 12:17Speaker 1: it massive. And a week from today they're gonna have
- 12:20Speaker 1: a ribbon cutting ceremony and live music and everything and
- 12:24Speaker 1: fun and games to celebrate the opening. So it's going
- 12:26Speaker 1: to be open in about a week. Jeremy, if you
- 12:28Speaker 1: want to make your way.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Back up there, I probably will. Is there gonna be
- 12:31Speaker 2: a ribbon cutting?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:32Speaker 1: There, yes, just such ribbon cutting and live music and
- 12:36Speaker 1: games and fun.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Okay, good, I'll be there week okay.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And then Abby Hagstrom, so she was driving with her
- 12:44Speaker 1: family from Steamboat Springs. Okay, they're a little kiddy na
- 12:47Speaker 1: Na named Bones got out of the car. So somehow
- 12:51Speaker 1: along the way they didn't even notice that little Bones
- 12:53Speaker 1: was missing until they made it to Denver. Luckily, excuse me,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Bones is wearing an Apple air tag which showed his
- 13:01Speaker 1: location near the Eisenhower Tunnel. And Abby, as you can imagine,
- 13:05Speaker 1: she was a little freaked out about it. I went
- 13:08Speaker 1: into like crazy cat mom mode and contacted every shelter,
- 13:12Speaker 1: every rescue. This is just so daunting. We don't know
- 13:16Speaker 1: when he got out of the truck, and all we
- 13:18Speaker 1: have is this very loose location of where he may be.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And the crazy thing is, so they saw that he
- 13:24Speaker 1: was somewhere around the Eisenhower Tunnel and then somebody spotted
- 13:28Speaker 1: him on the catwalk.
- 13:30Speaker 3: How perfect you're making that up?
- 13:32Speaker 1: No, on the catwalk four point thirty in the morning
- 13:35Speaker 1: on Monday, And so they deployed rescuers and they actually
- 13:39Speaker 1: had to shut down the Eisenhower Tunnel for like eight
- 13:41Speaker 1: minutes to get little Bones out of there. He walked
- 13:44Speaker 1: right up to rescuers by the way, in case you're wondering,
- 13:46Speaker 1: He's like, oh, you're here for me finally, What took
- 13:49Speaker 1: you so long? But he is doing fine. Mom's doing fine.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Everyone's like, okay, Bones is just fine. But what a
- 13:56Speaker 1: crazy story.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Love the name.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I love that Colorado loves her animals so much that
- 14:00Speaker 1: we're willing to shut down the biggest tunnel in the
- 14:02Speaker 1: state to find him.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Like right to Colorado.
- 14:06Speaker 1: There you go. There's your not high hype
