- 0:22Speaker 2: A guy sits down in a movie theater and notices
- 0:26Speaker 2: that the man in front of him has brought his
- 0:28Speaker 2: dog and it's sitting in the seat next to him.
- 0:32Speaker 2: He thinks it's unusual, but he likes dog, so he
- 0:35Speaker 2: decides that as long as it's not a distraction, he
- 0:38Speaker 2: won't mention it. The movie starts and pretty soon there's
- 0:42Speaker 2: a funny part the dog makes some low woofing sounds
- 0:46Speaker 2: that seem like laughter. In a little while, there's a
- 0:50Speaker 2: sad part and the dog appears to be weeping. This
- 0:54Speaker 2: continues throughout the film, and the man sitting behind the
- 0:58Speaker 2: dog is a stoule. When the lights come up, he
- 1:02Speaker 2: taps the dog's owner on the shoulder and tells him,
- 1:05Speaker 2: I gotta say, and I know it sounds weird, but
- 1:09Speaker 2: it seemed like your dog really enjoyed this movie. The
- 1:14Speaker 2: dog owner looks at the dog and nods. I know
- 1:19Speaker 2: it's really weird, he says, because he absolutely hated the book.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We train people in how to treat us by the
- 1:36Speaker 2: behavior we tolerate, we can truly choose who is and
- 1:41Speaker 2: who is not a part of our life. We will
- 1:44Speaker 2: talk about this in this week's episode of Positively three
- 1:48Speaker 2: sixty five. But first we have our trivia question of
- 1:52Speaker 2: the day. Are you ready for it? Here it is
- 1:57Speaker 2: which country has the most official languages. We will have

- 3:44Speaker 2: Thanks for listening and happy reading. Do you know the
- 3:56Speaker 2: answer to this week's trivia question? The question was which
- 4:01Speaker 2: country has the most official languages? The answer South Africa.
- 4:08Speaker 2: South Africa has the most official languages, with eleven recognized languages.
- 4:16Speaker 2: These include Afrikaans, English, Zulu, Zoxa, and several others, reflecting
- 4:23Speaker 2: the country's diverse cultures and histories. South Africa. Now you know,
- 4:38Speaker 2: we train others on how to treat us by the
- 4:41Speaker 2: behavior we tolerate, because our responses to actions and words
- 4:46Speaker 2: establish boundaries. When we allow disrespect or mistreatment without addressing it,
- 4:53Speaker 2: we unintentionally signal that such behavior is acceptable. People often
- 4:59Speaker 2: mirror the way we react, and if we don't assert
- 5:03Speaker 2: ourselves or set limits, then may assume that poor behavior
- 5:08Speaker 2: is permissible. By ignoring harmful actions or failing to stand
- 5:13Speaker 2: up for ourselves, we give permission for others to continue
- 5:17Speaker 2: treating us in ways that may not align with our
- 5:21Speaker 2: values or self respect. On the other hand, when we
- 5:26Speaker 2: set clear boundaries and communicate our needs, we teach others
- 5:31Speaker 2: how to interact with us. Whether it's insisting on kindness, honesty,
- 5:37Speaker 2: or mutual respect, Our behavior sends a message about what
- 5:42Speaker 2: we will or will not accept. The more consistent we
- 5:46Speaker 2: are in upholding our standards, the more others will understand
- 5:51Speaker 2: how to treat us with dignity and the care that
- 5:54Speaker 2: we deserve. Ultimately, we are the ones who define how
- 5:59Speaker 2: we are treated by what we allow in our interactions
- 6:03Speaker 2: with others. It has been said time decides who you
- 6:23Speaker 2: meet in your life. Heart decides who you want in
- 6:29Speaker 2: your life. Behavior decides who will stay in your life.
