- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with our radio. Hi, guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Guys,
- 0:11Speaker 1: I'm going to curse this episode because I am so
- 0:13Speaker 1: passionate about it. WHOA, really, you're that fired up? You
- 0:18Speaker 1: started this well, you started this podcast not sounding fired up.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It sounded like very like hey, guys, like very like
- 0:25Speaker 1: you're about to walk us through like a meditation. I
- 0:29Speaker 1: like that you're fired up. I'm excited that you're fired up, Ashley.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Before we get going here, how's the week? Catch us
- 0:38Speaker 1: up on anything cool that happened to you this week? Oh,
- 0:42Speaker 1: you're so sweet. Um. I had gone to Vegas this week.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Um are our agent Paul. He had a little retreat there,
- 0:52Speaker 1: so it was cool. I got to hang out with him.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Bachelor fam arian Lauren, and we bonded over like baby
- 0:58Speaker 1: life and where we live and stuff like that because
- 1:02Speaker 1: we both live with like the you know, the husband's side.
- 1:06Speaker 1: We live in the state of the husband's side. And
- 1:08Speaker 1: then we I talked to Hannah Anne for the first time.
- 1:12Speaker 1: I got to meet Hannah and in person, and she's
- 1:14Speaker 1: so sweet, and we talked about her boyfriend and how
- 1:17Speaker 1: they're planning on doing a move soon and then let's
- 1:20Speaker 1: see who it was the Crystal. I talked to Crystal
- 1:22Speaker 1: with her new fiance Miles, and I talked about how
- 1:25Speaker 1: they got engaged and all that, and that's a good story.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We're gonna have to have Crystal and soon't talk about that.
- 1:30Speaker 1: They are so cute together and who am I missing it?
- 1:34Speaker 1: I saw the twins for the first time in a
- 1:36Speaker 1: long time, both being married ladies. They're both in Vegas.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But what's cool is that Emily and Haley are currently
- 1:45Speaker 1: living together. So Haley lives with Emily and Will because
- 1:49Speaker 1: her husband is in Sweden nine months out of the year,
- 1:53Speaker 1: so there's certain months out of the year she lives
- 1:55Speaker 1: with Emily, Emily and Will. Why isn't did she mention
- 1:59Speaker 1: why she's not make in the move to Sweden? Um,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I don't, actually, you know what, you'd think that would
- 2:06Speaker 1: be an obvious question to be like, Haylee, wyren't you
- 2:09Speaker 1: always with your husband over there? Maybe it has to
- 2:12Speaker 1: do with a visa thing, but like also she's really
- 2:18Speaker 1: you know, lonely during the season when he's away and
- 2:20Speaker 1: she hasn't nobody there and she's like in a home
- 2:22Speaker 1: by herself and all that, so I know she's she's
- 2:26Speaker 1: happier when she gets me with her sister and not
- 2:28Speaker 1: in a lonely house. That makes sense that I bet.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Hannah Ann mentioned how we met for the first time
- 2:34Speaker 1: at Maddie's. Oh she did. I was actually kidding. Oh no, no, no,
- 2:38Speaker 1: she definitely did. She was like I met Ben for
- 2:39Speaker 1: the first time last week. It was a great, really
- 2:42Speaker 1: sweet human, very very sweet human. Um and a lot
- 2:47Speaker 1: smaller than I expect. She's like just I'm notined her
- 2:51Speaker 1: to be tiny. Yeah, she's like Jess tall, which is
- 2:53Speaker 1: like a very tiny, tiny person. Um. But well, that's awesome.
- 2:59Speaker 1: That sounds like a great week. I'm assuming it really
- 3:01Speaker 1: went really well. Yes, it was great. It was so
- 3:03Speaker 1: it was so lovely. Well, there's something about bachelor family.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I say this every time. It's just like you just
- 3:09Speaker 1: click immediately. You can go so long without seeing each
- 3:12Speaker 1: other and there's always some common denominator. I'm glad you
- 3:16Speaker 1: feel that way. Sometimes I just feel out of place. Really, no, Ben,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you just are just too self conscious. Then, yeah, maybe
- 3:27Speaker 1: you just feel like, like you know Taylor Swift song
- 3:30Speaker 1: ants a hero. No, I don't you have to Okay,
- 3:33Speaker 1: you have to go listen to Anti Hero. Okay, that
- 3:38Speaker 1: your song. There is a line, can I read it
- 3:40Speaker 1: to you? I know that like our producers are gonna
- 3:42Speaker 1: be like, guys, there we have we have to hurry up.
- 3:45Speaker 1: But I actually need you to read this one lyric
- 3:47Speaker 1: to you because you're gonna relate so hard. I mean,
- 3:51Speaker 1: it's your song, like she says in it, um, I
- 3:54Speaker 1: have a fear of getting older but not wiser. And
- 3:58Speaker 1: then this is the this is this is the verse
- 4:01Speaker 1: that I really feel like you we'll resonnate with. And
- 4:04Speaker 1: I hope I'm not being dramatic, but it says sometimes
- 4:08Speaker 1: I feel like everybody is a sexy baby. That's that's
- 4:11Speaker 1: supposed to be referring to, like, you know, hot TikTokers
- 4:14Speaker 1: that are like a lot younger than her. Um, and
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'm a monster on the hill, too big to hang out,
- 4:20Speaker 1: slowly lurching towards your favorite city, pierced through the heart
- 4:24Speaker 1: but never killed. You know, Taylor, I asked Justin, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: I said, what's I was like, is Taylor Swift? Like
- 4:32Speaker 1: what makes her so popular? And Jessica said her lyrics
- 4:36Speaker 1: just relate with a certain group of people. She's good. Huh, well,
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm so pumped. You had a good time. It is
- 4:45Speaker 1: always fun seeing people from Bachelor Nation, and it's fun
- 4:48Speaker 1: being around them and hearing what they're up to and
- 4:50Speaker 1: hearing their stories. But you know, I haven't been around
- 4:56Speaker 1: too many of them recently, and so it's fun to
- 4:58Speaker 1: kind of live vicariously through you when you get to
- 5:02Speaker 1: see them. And uh, we got to talk about a
- 5:05Speaker 1: lot of people from Bachelor Nation right now, because Paradise
- 5:09Speaker 1: is still going. It is still going, and it is going,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and it is going and going and it is going,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and it is going to the point where there are
- 5:15Speaker 1: still new arrivals next week. This is strange. It's weird. Actually,
- 5:21Speaker 1: that's a little weird. I think it's kind of bizarre.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I mean, come on, guys, stop, stop that stop. Can
- 5:26Speaker 1: we just get it down to a select few. Well, actually,
- 5:30Speaker 1: we have a lot to talk about today, a lot
- 5:32Speaker 1: to break down. A very emotional episode. I will say
- 5:35Speaker 1: it was less dramatic and more emotional for many, and
- 5:39Speaker 1: the responses on social media, Uh, we're very emotionally driven. Um,
- 5:46Speaker 1: some very strong opinions and thoughts coming out of this
- 5:50Speaker 1: episode for a couple of different reasons. We're going to
- 5:54Speaker 1: share our opinions well, because that's what we get paid
- 5:56Speaker 1: to do. And we're to talk about the episode right
- 5:58Speaker 1: here coming up after this break, All right, Ashley, let's
- 6:11Speaker 1: kick it off. Bachelor in Paradise is yes back. Uh.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It is a vacation of sorts because there's only one
- 6:19Speaker 1: episode this week, which I thoroughly enjoyed that fulfilled my
- 6:24Speaker 1: heart so deeply because I got to give my all
- 6:27Speaker 1: to the one episode exactly. And that's a good point.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Let's let's clarify this. It's not that I don't enjoy
- 6:33Speaker 1: watching Paradise. In fact, out of all the shows that
- 6:36Speaker 1: The Bachelor does, Paradise is enjoyable. For me. I'm seventy
- 6:41Speaker 1: of the time really really like watching it. Uh, it's
- 6:45Speaker 1: just when it's so much, it gets exhausting and I
- 6:48Speaker 1: feel like I'm not able to do my job well,
- 6:51Speaker 1: which is to you know, analyze and reflect and think
- 6:55Speaker 1: about certain moments because it's so long. Well, when it's
- 6:59Speaker 1: four hours, I mean, I know that's what the commercials included.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So for us, it's not exactly four hours, but that
- 7:05Speaker 1: is a big time dedication. So sometimes you're doing stuff
- 7:10Speaker 1: on the side and sometimes you're you're skipping forward a
- 7:12Speaker 1: little bit. This I was able to zone in and
- 7:17Speaker 1: I never looked on my phone. It was really really nice.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But it's also because the content of this episode was strong,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and it was basically just the love triangle between Justin,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Rodney and Eliza, and I was enthralled in every moment.
- 7:34Speaker 1: It was so emotional. And here's my big take away.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Should I just start off with a big takeaway? I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think so. There are other moments actually that I
- 7:45Speaker 1: would like to speak about. Really, Okay, fine, I think
- 7:48Speaker 1: the Eliza and Rodney moment um with Justin obviously is
- 7:53Speaker 1: the super Bowl to this episode. It is the climax. However,
- 7:57Speaker 1: So you wanna talk about the other parts first and
- 7:59Speaker 1: then we'll go into Yeah, I think that's the best
- 8:01Speaker 1: way to do this because it's gonna take up so
- 8:03Speaker 1: much time to break down the other segment. I really
- 8:05Speaker 1: want to start talking to you about Kate. Okay, I
- 8:09Speaker 1: kind of love Kate, now you love Yeah. I do
- 8:13Speaker 1: not want to be her friend. I definitely do not
- 8:16Speaker 1: want to date her, but I love watching her. Okay,
- 8:19Speaker 1: that's fair, Okay, that's a good. Yeah, I would say
- 8:22Speaker 1: my my takeaway here that I have written down is
- 8:25Speaker 1: I would never set her up with somebody that I
- 8:30Speaker 1: am friends with. Yeah. Now, I think Kate is beautiful.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I think when she first came to the beach, she
- 8:38Speaker 1: is very inquisitive and you see her supporting people on
- 8:43Speaker 1: the beach really well. She gives good advice, but she
- 8:46Speaker 1: is very much in the advice kind of realm of
- 8:49Speaker 1: go for what you want, do what you need, put
- 8:52Speaker 1: yourself out there, put yourself first, put yourself first, and
- 8:57Speaker 1: that where That's where it brings up my conversation with Logan.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I feel like the Logan situation Kate was was obviously
- 9:08Speaker 1: not kind to Logan, but I was very thrown off
- 9:13Speaker 1: with what she was upset with Logan about. It seems
- 9:17Speaker 1: like this whole episode was focused on Kate wanting to
- 9:20Speaker 1: marry somebody with money. Typically you don't admit that even
- 9:25Speaker 1: if that is a thing. That's why it was hilarious.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I don't know if I've ever seen somebody so outwardly
- 9:35Speaker 1: focused on I mean, and she did frame it in
- 9:39Speaker 1: some decent ways, like I want to be supported, I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't want to be the soul breadwinner. Uh, those things
- 9:47Speaker 1: make sense. However, I think she was saying that to
- 9:52Speaker 1: convince herself that maybe she's not wrong, Like this is
- 9:56Speaker 1: not a healthy thought to marry somebody based on them
- 10:00Speaker 1: having six figures to give to their dog or owning
- 10:03Speaker 1: their own company. Trust me, Ashley, I own my own company.
- 10:07Speaker 1: It doesn't mean you're stupid wealthy sometimes, so I have
- 10:14Speaker 1: never had that point of view. And you guys know
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm honest about everything. Like that's just never been like
- 10:18Speaker 1: the thing. I don't understand why there are gold diggers
- 10:21Speaker 1: who would rather marry for money than love and like
- 10:24Speaker 1: be married to a gross eight five year old man
- 10:26Speaker 1: when they're in their thirties. It just doesn't make any
- 10:28Speaker 1: sense to me. But I have friends that are that
- 10:32Speaker 1: that can roll over into that territory. And I think
- 10:38Speaker 1: it was hilarious to see on TV. Not right, but
- 10:42Speaker 1: hilarious because he was just brutally honest. And what I
- 10:46Speaker 1: did like was that she used this one expression which
- 10:49Speaker 1: I think I can get behind, provider energy. Is it
- 10:54Speaker 1: just like provider energy? She said, I just want a
- 10:57Speaker 1: guy who gives off provider energy. It's kind of like
- 10:59Speaker 1: big Dick energy. You don't have to have the big Dick,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but I want you to have the energy. Yeah, I
- 11:04Speaker 1: want you to act. Yeah exactly. So it's like I
- 11:08Speaker 1: want you to put forth the effort that like, you're
- 11:10Speaker 1: a guy who wants to provide. Yeah, I want you
- 11:13Speaker 1: to be a hard worker. But I don't necessarily need
- 11:16Speaker 1: to be rolling in the dough. That's my interpretation of
- 11:18Speaker 1: that new expression that she's created. Oh but see, I
- 11:22Speaker 1: saw it completely different. I just feel like she wanted somebody,
- 11:24Speaker 1: yes with provider energy, and also to take her on
- 11:28Speaker 1: trips and take her out to dinner and buy her things.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, Ben, you are correct, but that
- 11:32Speaker 1: she did, just like for all of us other girls
- 11:34Speaker 1: out there, put out a nice little term called provider
- 11:37Speaker 1: energy at the end, which I was like, we can
- 11:39Speaker 1: all get behind provider energy. But she definitely wants more
- 11:43Speaker 1: than just the energy. Yeah, definitely, I mean, and I
- 11:46Speaker 1: get that because as a husband or as a partner,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I want to I want Jessica to know I will
- 11:54Speaker 1: provide for her. Now. Granted, that doesn't mean that she
- 11:57Speaker 1: still can't have provider energy herself for me, or that
- 12:01Speaker 1: the girl can't make more under the umbrella of provider energy.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The girl can still make more. Definitely, I want Jessica
- 12:08Speaker 1: to know she is safe. I want her to know
- 12:10Speaker 1: she'll be taken care of. I want her to know
- 12:12Speaker 1: that I want her every dream for a relationship and
- 12:15Speaker 1: for life, as long as it's healthy, to come true.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And I want to help get you know, work with
- 12:21Speaker 1: her and sit beside her as she works towards that
- 12:23Speaker 1: and as we do that together. However, I kind of
- 12:27Speaker 1: want this, I mean, and tell him this might be
- 12:29Speaker 1: the non traditional side of me is I want her
- 12:33Speaker 1: to provide for me also in certain ways, and so
- 12:37Speaker 1: the provider energy makes sense. However, I think Logan has
- 12:41Speaker 1: it in his words, in his in his affirmation. Really yeah,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I don't feel provider energy from him right now. You
- 12:51Speaker 1: see him as a child that she's like communicating like
- 12:55Speaker 1: she is having me a fear that he is a
- 12:58Speaker 1: man child and that he with his roommates and that
- 13:02Speaker 1: he's young, and that she doesn't even know what he
- 13:05Speaker 1: does for a living. And you get that same vibe.
- 13:08Speaker 1: M okay, I can't say I would be turned on.
- 13:12Speaker 1: We're very close in age, she's thirty three and thirty four.
- 13:15Speaker 1: To hear that the guy lived with two roommates would
- 13:19Speaker 1: make me go, yeah, save money, Yeah, sure, save money,
- 13:24Speaker 1: but also frat boy life. Still in the frat boy life.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I'd rather you have a small ask five, I'd rather
- 13:31Speaker 1: you have these. I'd rather live in a shoebox by yourself,
- 13:34Speaker 1: I think, and have that privacy. And is this where
- 13:38Speaker 1: girls are different? Because for me, if I'm single and
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm not married, it would be a dream to live
- 13:44Speaker 1: with my two buddies up until the day like I
- 13:47Speaker 1: moved out to be with my wife. It would be
- 13:51Speaker 1: a blast, Like we would have so much fun. Okay,
- 13:54Speaker 1: but I think that one body at that age is fine,
- 13:57Speaker 1: but two does make it feel like, Oh I want
- 14:00Speaker 1: TIN like a college environment. Yeah, I want TIN really
- 14:04Speaker 1: because you have like you have like a circle of bros.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Jared lived with his best girl friend and before we
- 14:09Speaker 1: got together, Hannah, I gotta call you in for this.
- 14:13Speaker 1: We need a third party perspective up East didn't get
- 14:17Speaker 1: in here for this too. I love bringing the producers on.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I see where you're coming from, Ashley, because the person
- 14:23Speaker 1: I was with for like four and a half years
- 14:25Speaker 1: lives alone in San Francisco because he's like very motivated
- 14:29Speaker 1: and has a really intensive job, just wants to be focused.
- 14:32Speaker 1: And that is attractive to me. If he was living
- 14:34Speaker 1: with like six people and like still living, as you say,
- 14:40Speaker 1: the frat life, it would be a bit more of
- 14:41Speaker 1: a turn off. Okay, So I agree, what is your opinion?
- 14:47Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm with I'm with Anna here. I
- 14:49Speaker 1: think if you uh to me, Um, if you live
- 14:55Speaker 1: by yourself, that means you got your act together. Um.
- 14:59Speaker 1: A lot of roommates. I'm sorry you don't. They're close friends.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I'm not dealing with it now. Granted I say all
- 15:05Speaker 1: of this, and I lived alone for eight years, and
- 15:08Speaker 1: you were that guy. You were the guy that we're
- 15:10Speaker 1: referring to as the hot one. Yeah, I'm the hot one. Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 1: So you lived in a small house and you always
- 15:18Speaker 1: talk about how small your houses and how the bathroom
- 15:20Speaker 1: was right off the kitchen. But that is so much
- 15:23Speaker 1: more attractive. Yeah, I guess. I mean, and it took
- 15:27Speaker 1: a lot. I get what you're saying because there's a
- 15:29Speaker 1: sense of responsibility there too. And what I learned during
- 15:32Speaker 1: that time, and as you found on the podcast, you know,
- 15:35Speaker 1: years ago, one of the things that happened when I
- 15:37Speaker 1: was in the house that got broken into twice once
- 15:39Speaker 1: with me there, right, a dude standing in my back
- 15:41Speaker 1: like kitchen area. And what it taught me was I
- 15:45Speaker 1: had to step up, Like I can't just like count
- 15:48Speaker 1: on my really buff, strong, tough roommate to like take
- 15:52Speaker 1: him out. No, that's me with a baseball bat being
- 15:54Speaker 1: like get out of my house please. Um. And so
- 15:58Speaker 1: I do think you I mean, I'm gonna say this,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and I think it can mean. I think there was
- 16:02Speaker 1: a lot of me coming into my manhood by living alone.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I think I matured a lot, and I think I
- 16:08Speaker 1: had to learn a lot and I had to be
- 16:11Speaker 1: aware of a lot, and I had to take care
- 16:13Speaker 1: of a house, which is a big responsibility for anybody
- 16:15Speaker 1: that does that. So I get what you're saying. I
- 16:18Speaker 1: just personally think it would be fun to have ten
- 16:21Speaker 1: dudes watching Monday night football with a beer in hand,
- 16:25Speaker 1: like and then all of us going our separate ways.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But what that means that I did live alone. So
- 16:30Speaker 1: we're saying that Logan doesn't throw that like provider energy
- 16:35Speaker 1: out there, that that's making more sense to me. Now.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I think my issue with this actually kind of wrap
- 16:42Speaker 1: up this thought too, is that I didn't like and
- 16:47Speaker 1: I thotastic goes back to the test I think with you.
- 16:49Speaker 1: The test threw me off, and the fact that she
- 16:52Speaker 1: doesn't really like either one of them, she doesn't know
- 16:54Speaker 1: and and this is what's sad to me. And that
- 16:56Speaker 1: brings me to what I was saying, is as a
- 16:58Speaker 1: reflected on this moment and why it was bothering me
- 17:00Speaker 1: so much. Now it doesn't bother me enough for me
- 17:02Speaker 1: to lose sleepover really think about ten minutes after the
- 17:04Speaker 1: show is done, but it does during the show. And
- 17:07Speaker 1: I like to write down notes and what I'm feeling
- 17:09Speaker 1: while I'm feeling it. And I think the thing is
- 17:11Speaker 1: this is Kate is a beautiful person. Like physically, she's
- 17:16Speaker 1: very inquisitive. We've seen that she obviously cares because she's
- 17:19Speaker 1: in most of the moments when people are hurting, she's
- 17:21Speaker 1: around to give them some support and some advice. And
- 17:24Speaker 1: I believe that's coming from a good place. What I'm
- 17:27Speaker 1: upset about and this, and and I could be corrected,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and I've probably overstepped my bounds already, is that Kate
- 17:33Speaker 1: is going to miss out on what true love is.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And true love is a beautiful thing to have and
- 17:38Speaker 1: to hold, and it's a gift, and it's sacred and
- 17:42Speaker 1: it's special. And what I want to tell Kate if
- 17:45Speaker 1: I was her friend, again I'm probably overstepping my bounds here,
- 17:49Speaker 1: is that there is love out there for you. It
- 17:51Speaker 1: could be somebody that you are provided by right and
- 17:55Speaker 1: for It could be somebody that you live in the
- 17:58Speaker 1: smallest little place, it in the like work place that
- 18:02Speaker 1: you don't want to live at all, and you can
- 18:04Speaker 1: only eat ramen for your meals. But there's love there
- 18:07Speaker 1: and that's a story to tell, and that's beautiful and
- 18:09Speaker 1: that's something to pursue. And I don't think if I'm
- 18:12Speaker 1: a friend and she's thirty three years olds, I would
- 18:14Speaker 1: tell her. She's like I tell my best girlfriends in
- 18:16Speaker 1: the world right now, is I don't think you're looking
- 18:18Speaker 1: for love in the right place, and I don't think
- 18:20Speaker 1: your criteria is going to match up to your the
- 18:22Speaker 1: joy and happiness that love provides. And that's what frustrates me.
- 18:25Speaker 1: But again that's me overstepping my bounds because I don't
- 18:28Speaker 1: have a relationship with her to tell her that, Ben,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you're just so right in every single way. And earlier
- 18:34Speaker 1: I said I didn't want to be friends with Kate,
- 18:36Speaker 1: but actually I do want to be friends with Kate
- 18:38Speaker 1: because I think she is kind of fun with the girls.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I do think she's emotionally supportive with them when they
- 18:41Speaker 1: need them the most. But she's so entertaining and what
- 18:46Speaker 1: you're saying is right. Again, what you're saying is right.
- 18:48Speaker 1: But I can't get enough of her saying this stuff
- 18:51Speaker 1: on nasital TV. She's good TV. She's good, so funny,
- 18:56Speaker 1: she's really good TV. But the thing is she doesn't
- 18:58Speaker 1: like either of them. She really doesn't. She's probably like
- 19:01Speaker 1: I think she seems more attracted to Logan, like she
- 19:03Speaker 1: wants to hook up with him, but she doesn't really
- 19:05Speaker 1: want to be with either of them in real life. Well, Ashley,
- 19:08Speaker 1: last week, we were upset with Kate because she was
- 19:12Speaker 1: bad mouthing her date on her date with Hay, like
- 19:15Speaker 1: she was literally making fun of him, making fun of him. Well,
- 19:19Speaker 1: at least at the time, I thought she was making
- 19:20Speaker 1: fun of him because she said something like he paid
- 19:23Speaker 1: six figures to get his dog, you know, and and
- 19:26Speaker 1: maybe secretly she was like, no, he paid six figures
- 19:29Speaker 1: to get that dog. That dude's got some chain on him.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Maybe I just read that situation completely wrong. I could have,
- 19:37Speaker 1: but we were we were saying, Kate, it's not cool
- 19:40Speaker 1: and you're on a date with somebody. Why don't just
- 19:42Speaker 1: leave this day if you don't like them? And now
- 19:44Speaker 1: we're saying, wait, she's thinking about this guy. Yeah, wait, bad,
- 19:48Speaker 1: one more thing before we move on. I didn't think
- 19:50Speaker 1: we were going to spend this much time. But she
- 19:52Speaker 1: was like my sister in Christ, My sister. I mean,
- 19:57Speaker 1: I wonder, Yeah, you know, people like because I'm because
- 20:02Speaker 1: I'm a Christian, Like that is a thing that's said, right,
- 20:06Speaker 1: you're my brother in Christ. No, I don't say it
- 20:08Speaker 1: like I think if like somebody showed it to me.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'm going to a pastor's conference here in about two hours,
- 20:14Speaker 1: I leave for this conference. And it's a bunch of
- 20:16Speaker 1: pastors around the country. I tell you what, all my
- 20:19Speaker 1: buddies know this, and all my pastor buddies know this.
- 20:21Speaker 1: If one of them shakes my hand today and say hello,
- 20:23Speaker 1: brother in Christ, I'll be like, hey, dude, no we
- 20:25Speaker 1: we we ain't playing this game. Like it was so
- 20:29Speaker 1: funny because what she was doing is say like she
- 20:32Speaker 1: was prefacing that she was about to be extremely honest.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Is that what she was doing. Because I heard it
- 20:38Speaker 1: and we're in this together, aren't we? Lady were in
- 20:41Speaker 1: this stage. Yeah, okay. So I don't know if there
- 20:44Speaker 1: was like a religious undertone or a face statement to
- 20:47Speaker 1: that more than just like hey, hey, I'm just gonna
- 20:50Speaker 1: tell you something that's like that's necessary here my sister
- 20:53Speaker 1: and christ come come come sit with me now. Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 1: it's a little bit. Uh. I don't want to say
- 20:59Speaker 1: triggering because gorings away too bigod word. It's it's a
- 21:01Speaker 1: weird word for like saying for me to hear, because
- 21:03Speaker 1: like you hear your whole life. And sometimes it's like
- 21:06Speaker 1: a little manipulative because like you're like, you know, brother
- 21:09Speaker 1: in Christ, don't you think this way also? And you're
- 21:11Speaker 1: like wait no, I don't like no again perfectly said,
- 21:16Speaker 1: she was like, okay, okay, come to my side, come
- 21:18Speaker 1: to my side, getting honest with you, and I hope
- 21:20Speaker 1: that you see me. Yeah, I see it because it's
- 21:23Speaker 1: a it's a tip. Like my experience is, it's a
- 21:26Speaker 1: manipulative opening statement to get somebody to be convinced or
- 21:30Speaker 1: feel like they need to be convinced by your opinion.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's like way the way people say, oh, bless your
- 21:36Speaker 1: heart when they're like demeaning you good old South, good
- 21:40Speaker 1: old This is one of my favorite scenarios. Now, I
- 21:43Speaker 1: know the the Roddeney allies in Justin scenario took up everything,
- 21:46Speaker 1: But that's why I wanted to start here, because actually
- 21:48Speaker 1: I think this was one of the most intriguing and
- 21:50Speaker 1: interesting like dynamics of the episode. Was Kate's kind of
- 21:56Speaker 1: um honest opinion. And I gotta give her this again,
- 21:59Speaker 1: the close out this thought. I gotta give her the
- 22:02Speaker 1: the the credit for being very honest about what she
- 22:07Speaker 1: was looking for and what she's feeling. I cannot hate
- 22:10Speaker 1: or I cannot dislike somebody for saying, no, you know
- 22:13Speaker 1: what's really attractive to me is to have a lot
- 22:15Speaker 1: of money. Now I might disagree with that, I might
- 22:18Speaker 1: say I don't think that's healthy, but I can't even
- 22:21Speaker 1: I can't say it's wrong because how do you quantify
- 22:24Speaker 1: if it's wrong or right. I can't do that. It
- 22:26Speaker 1: just you don't ever hear somebody saying it as honestly
- 22:30Speaker 1: and as openly and as many times in a couple
- 22:33Speaker 1: different ways as she did. So so interesting to me.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I also just want to say, hey, it's gonna be
- 22:39Speaker 1: interesting to watch Logan because Logan obviously got a rose
- 22:42Speaker 1: and then was told that, hey, I just need to
- 22:43Speaker 1: step up a bit, and he's like, I don't know
- 22:45Speaker 1: what that means. I have no idea. Oh, this guy
- 22:49Speaker 1: is just like on the weirdest back journey ever. Okay,
- 22:56Speaker 1: so let's talk about something else that was fun to watch.
- 23:02Speaker 1: It was Aaron and Genevieve at the party talking about
- 23:07Speaker 1: the love that they have for each other. But Aaron
- 23:09Speaker 1: is the ultimate jokester, and I knew he was going
- 23:12Speaker 1: to do this. I thought he was gonna fake break
- 23:15Speaker 1: up with her, but instead he goes, so remember how
- 23:18Speaker 1: I told you that I was falling in love with
- 23:20Speaker 1: you on the Jungle Walk, Come down the stairs. That's
- 23:24Speaker 1: what it is. Well, I lied, I can't. I can't,
- 23:28Speaker 1: I can't. I shouldn't have said that because I am
- 23:32Speaker 1: in love with you. And I was like, oh my god,
- 23:35Speaker 1: it's so fun to watch another thing that's like Torturius
- 23:37Speaker 1: to somebody else, which is poor Genevieve, but great for
- 23:40Speaker 1: us to watch. The Yeah, it's good for us to watch.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I thought he was hammered like and he might have been,
- 23:47Speaker 1: but that dude looked like he was like he was
- 23:52Speaker 1: like eight bourbons deep, couldn't get his words out. I mean,
- 23:56Speaker 1: I can't say he was now because I think he
- 23:58Speaker 1: was nervous and trying to get the right words that trigger.
- 24:01Speaker 1: He was sweaty in a way that you're not Paradise sweaty.
- 24:03Speaker 1: He looked like he was like emotionally. Yeah, so he
- 24:08Speaker 1: sat her out in the rain to do this, which
- 24:10Speaker 1: is I mean from this episode or from last episode,
- 24:13Speaker 1: I learned that people love sitting in the rain and
- 24:15Speaker 1: make it out. Um, well this, you know that was
- 24:18Speaker 1: pretty hot. You know, I get it, Like when Logan
- 24:20Speaker 1: and Kate did. It's like pretty exciting. Yeah, romantic picked
- 24:26Speaker 1: me up? Yeah, um, but yeah, it was a good scene.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I I don't know, Ash, I'm not convinced this that
- 24:34Speaker 1: the Aaron Genevieve relationship though still exists today. And I
- 24:39Speaker 1: don't know, Um, I'm just not convinced. You're not convinced.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You've hung out with her a few times, but not convinced. Well,
- 24:46Speaker 1: she never No, she was not flirtatious. I did not
- 24:51Speaker 1: ask them, and I think I said this. I did
- 24:53Speaker 1: not ask them really anything about Paradise or how it
- 24:55Speaker 1: played out, because it would be too hard for me
- 24:57Speaker 1: to do this show and no, and so we talked
- 25:00Speaker 1: a lot about where they're they where they were out personally, um,
- 25:04Speaker 1: you know with Rachel and genevieven Victoria, but we never
- 25:06Speaker 1: really spoke about like I had no clue that Victoria
- 25:09Speaker 1: had any dates in Paradise. Um let alone looks like
- 25:13Speaker 1: a pretty solid relationship with Johnny. So I don't I
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't know. It just it feels like it's healthy. But
- 25:20Speaker 1: it also to me feels so different than anything um
- 25:23Speaker 1: I've seen, because it is a little contentious that you
- 25:27Speaker 1: know it will it will make it to the end,
- 25:31Speaker 1: That's a question I have. I mean, it just takes
- 25:35Speaker 1: one more time for her to leave. Robert Mills tweeted
- 25:38Speaker 1: that this coming week that there will be a breakup
- 25:41Speaker 1: along the lines of Carly and Kirk. So, if you
- 25:44Speaker 1: guys remember Carly and Kirk, it seemed like it was
- 25:48Speaker 1: going good and all all of a sudden. So I
- 25:52Speaker 1: feel like, if I have to tag a couple that
- 25:55Speaker 1: will be that, I think it's going to be them. Yeah. Well, Ashley,
- 25:59Speaker 1: it's time to get to the big moment. It's the
- 26:01Speaker 1: Eliza Rodney justin love triangle. Ashley, I'll let you because
- 26:06Speaker 1: you're fired up. I'll let you take this away, and
- 26:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna kind of chime in. I don't have maybe
- 26:12Speaker 1: as strong thoughts as you do, but I'll be interested
- 26:14Speaker 1: to hear your Okay, it's not that complicated to explain.
- 26:20Speaker 1: She goes into a roast, you know, she goes into
- 26:22Speaker 1: a cocktail party. She has to make her decision finally,
- 26:25Speaker 1: after this week of being confused between whether she's gonna
- 26:28Speaker 1: pick Justin or Ronnie. The entire cast is putting so
- 26:33Speaker 1: much pressure onto her picking Rodney, who they say is
- 26:36Speaker 1: ready for the relationship, that like just in love with her,
- 26:39Speaker 1: that will do anything to be with her, that is
- 26:41Speaker 1: just the ultimate romantic and gentleman. And they're like, Justin, Yeah,
- 26:46Speaker 1: he's fun, we all like him, we all want to
- 26:48Speaker 1: be friends with them, but we don't want you to
- 26:49Speaker 1: be with him. But then we see the two moments
- 26:53Speaker 1: with her and the guys, and to me from her side,
- 26:58Speaker 1: she seems just as into into both of them. I
- 27:02Speaker 1: think I said this last week and I'll say it again.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I think there's more of a physical connection that she
- 27:08Speaker 1: has attraction whatever to Justin. There's like a different light
- 27:12Speaker 1: in her eyes. I really think that she looks at
- 27:14Speaker 1: Ronnie like your stability, your husband material. But Justin is
- 27:20Speaker 1: like the guy that I just kind of want to
- 27:21Speaker 1: jump his bones right now. That's just my interpretation of
- 27:24Speaker 1: what I see. She certainly doesn't say this or allude
- 27:27Speaker 1: to this, but I'm just like picking up on body language.
- 27:30Speaker 1: But she's and I will say, Ronnie is super romantic.
- 27:33Speaker 1: He says all the right things. Heh It's just so sweet.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's like, I get it. I get why the cast
- 27:41Speaker 1: wants her to be with him, for sure, for sure,
- 27:44Speaker 1: but I do feel like there's maybe a little bit
- 27:46Speaker 1: too much pressure, and you felt just there's something about
- 27:49Speaker 1: the editing that you felt like even though the first
- 27:53Speaker 1: I didn't know that she was going to pick him
- 27:54Speaker 1: at the Rose ceremony. Going into the Rose ceremony, I
- 27:57Speaker 1: was like, Gosh, too many people are saying gotty with Ronnie.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Got Ronnie, She's gonna pick Justin and it's gonna be
- 28:04Speaker 1: like poo Justin. And it's like, ah, that's what I
- 28:07Speaker 1: was expecting. But then it didn't go that way, and
- 28:10Speaker 1: then I was like, Oh, this isn't over. This is
- 28:12Speaker 1: not over. As soon as she went and walked just
- 28:14Speaker 1: into the car, I was like, she's going to ask
- 28:18Speaker 1: him back, She's gonna say I can't do that. She's
- 28:20Speaker 1: gonna want him to join the group again. That didn't happen,
- 28:24Speaker 1: but it eventually happened the next day once she just
- 28:28Speaker 1: kind of comes clean and says, the pressure got to me.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Everybody wanted me to be with Rodney, but my heart
- 28:35Speaker 1: isn't there, and it was really sad. So most people
- 28:43Speaker 1: listening have watched this scene play out, and what I
- 28:46Speaker 1: want to do now is take some time to dig
- 28:49Speaker 1: into our opinions on this situation. Be think it's important.
- 28:55Speaker 1: So my opinion was that she was pressure too much. Yeah,
- 28:57Speaker 1: I think, and she said it, and I think when
- 28:59Speaker 1: she said it it to the girls, I think it
- 29:02Speaker 1: made a lot more sense to me. I feel I
- 29:04Speaker 1: feel for Liiesa there, I feel for Rodney and and
- 29:07Speaker 1: and ultimately, uh, he is a tremendous dude. I mean,
- 29:11Speaker 1: that's two seasons now he's been on This is hard
- 29:13Speaker 1: to do, trust me. I mean I was. I had
- 29:15Speaker 1: a lot of friends when I was on the Bachelor.
- 29:17Speaker 1: I didn't make a lot of friends when I was
- 29:18Speaker 1: the Bachelor. I hope I still say this today. I
- 29:21Speaker 1: hope the women that left that show, Um, you know
- 29:24Speaker 1: know that I tried my best and that I tried
- 29:27Speaker 1: to respect the whole situation well and them well, and
- 29:29Speaker 1: I hope they feel like, yeah, that was a decent season.
- 29:32Speaker 1: If anything to be on that that was worth me
- 29:35Speaker 1: going on. And I remember an opening night. I don't
- 29:38Speaker 1: think they showed it, but my very first speech to
- 29:40Speaker 1: them was, I don't know how to do this thing.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I have no clue how this is going to play
- 29:43Speaker 1: out here. But my hope, my only hope, is that
- 29:46Speaker 1: everybody that comes that's sitting in the room in front
- 29:48Speaker 1: of me now leaves this going You're glad you did
- 29:51Speaker 1: it for whatever reason you did this for. And I
- 29:54Speaker 1: think even with that mentality there, you still get people
- 29:58Speaker 1: that don't like you. That happens in life. Somehow Rodney
- 30:02Speaker 1: has made it through two seasons with everybody absolutely adoring
- 30:05Speaker 1: this villa, and I think it's clear why he's the
- 30:08Speaker 1: great dude. Yeah, but people, people on the beach are crying.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It was like somebody died. It was so crazy. I've
- 30:17Speaker 1: never seen some I've never seen a cast so upset
- 30:20Speaker 1: about somebody else's heartbreak. It was so sweet, it was lovely.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I love seeing it. It really is a testament of
- 30:27Speaker 1: what kind of human he is. And this is what
- 30:29Speaker 1: This was the moment that made me say, well, there's
- 30:33Speaker 1: actually multiple moments with Rodney that made me say I
- 30:37Speaker 1: have to curse on this podcast today. Why the isn't
- 30:40Speaker 1: he the Bachelor? That's a good question. That's a good question.
- 30:46Speaker 1: So like, it just doesn't make any sense because the
- 30:48Speaker 1: producer and they knew of this moment, of this situation
- 30:54Speaker 1: before picking Zach. This moment happened in June. They knew
- 30:58Speaker 1: that the cast is gonna be this distraught over it,
- 31:01Speaker 1: They knew that the audience is going to root for
- 31:04Speaker 1: him so hard, and then they chose Zack. Really nobody
- 31:09Speaker 1: felt anything intensely for And they also knew that this
- 31:13Speaker 1: moment was going to be shown in November, very close
- 31:17Speaker 1: to the premiere of The Bachelor, and people would have
- 31:20Speaker 1: been so excited and felt so much better going into
- 31:25Speaker 1: the Bachelor's season or they feel so much better watching
- 31:29Speaker 1: Paradise knowing, ah, this is why he's the Bachelor. Oh,
- 31:34Speaker 1: this guy deserves the Bachelor. It doesn't make any sense
- 31:37Speaker 1: to me. Actually, he is, he is the perfect choice.
- 31:41Speaker 1: He is this this is what's confused me these days
- 31:43Speaker 1: with the show is he's like the golden gift, right,
- 31:46Speaker 1: I mean, it's like handed to them on a silver platter,
- 31:49Speaker 1: being like, do you want somebody that people are gonna watch?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Do you want somebody that people are gonna root for?
- 31:54Speaker 1: Do you want somebody that people are gonna be emotionally
- 31:56Speaker 1: invested into? Do you want somebody it's a good dude
- 31:58Speaker 1: that most people really gaging. He's fun to watch, he's
- 32:03Speaker 1: magnetic ally, we got that, but we don't want that.
- 32:05Speaker 1: We want this dude. It's very confused to me. I
- 32:10Speaker 1: would have a feeling that Rodney's time on this show
- 32:13Speaker 1: is not done. He is still their gift to be
- 32:16Speaker 1: the Bachelor. If he is not the next bachelor after this,
- 32:19Speaker 1: we're gonna be very confused. He is the best candidate
- 32:21Speaker 1: we've had. The time passes and it doesn't make it
- 32:24Speaker 1: doesn't make you feel as much. We don't need the
- 32:26Speaker 1: time passing, And maybe that they really wanted us to
- 32:29Speaker 1: be invested on him through Paradise. They wanted him to
- 32:31Speaker 1: be the star of Paradise. Sure, but you make a
- 32:35Speaker 1: Culton and Nick the bachelor after their seasons of Paradise
- 32:38Speaker 1: and you're not going to go and give us the
- 32:40Speaker 1: gift of Rodney as the Bachelor, like you've done it before.
- 32:43Speaker 1: You've spoiled your Paradise season in in respect of having
- 32:49Speaker 1: the better and it worked out good ratings, right, Most
- 32:52Speaker 1: seasons had good ratings, a lot of engagement, a lot
- 32:54Speaker 1: of crossover. Actually, I'm with you. I think most people
- 32:57Speaker 1: are with you. Um. I to kind of put a
- 33:01Speaker 1: bow on this though, because obviously we we both agree
- 33:05Speaker 1: strongly that Rodney should have been the bachelor, should be
- 33:07Speaker 1: the Bachelor, start filming over again. I'm sure a lot
- 33:10Speaker 1: of people would be fine with it. Make him the
- 33:13Speaker 1: bachelor and just film this thing in a month. I
- 33:15Speaker 1: don't care, just show him on ours again. Whatever. But
- 33:19Speaker 1: I do want to just mention because I think, um
- 33:23Speaker 1: and I didn't see a lot of it. I'm glad
- 33:24Speaker 1: I did. You have to imagine the really difficult situational
- 33:28Speaker 1: Eliza was in. She did nothing wrong. Um oh yeah,
- 33:32Speaker 1: this is nothing against Eliza, and I love the fact
- 33:35Speaker 1: that the girls were so supportive of her when they
- 33:38Speaker 1: were on the bed. They're like, go get your man,
- 33:40Speaker 1: go get your man, like you know, you have to
- 33:42Speaker 1: follow your heart like that. And I'm just so glad
- 33:43Speaker 1: that they weren't like, what are you thinking, Yeah, this
- 33:46Speaker 1: is one of those moments on Paradise. Actually that it's
- 33:49Speaker 1: sad and it's hard to watch and we don't want
- 33:51Speaker 1: anybody to be involved in it because but it's it's
- 33:54Speaker 1: what makes this show, and it's made this show from
- 33:57Speaker 1: The Bachelor and The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. It's
- 34:00Speaker 1: what's kept it around for twenty plus years. Are these
- 34:02Speaker 1: moments where there's no there's no secret here that real
- 34:07Speaker 1: love existed and that real feelings were being you know, communicated,
- 34:12Speaker 1: and that some one of these people believe that their
- 34:14Speaker 1: partner forever was in on that beach with them. We've
- 34:18Speaker 1: seen it on The Bachelor before. We've seen on The Bachelor,
- 34:19Speaker 1: we've seen The Bachelor Paradise. Those moments that stick out
- 34:22Speaker 1: to us. This is what makes the show great. These
- 34:24Speaker 1: are the moments that we need to bring back because
- 34:26Speaker 1: they're always available because people fall hard if we allow
- 34:30Speaker 1: them to fall hard. Um, and we haven't seen it
- 34:33Speaker 1: in years. We haven't seen these dramatic scenarios where yes
- 34:38Speaker 1: we've seen breakups, Yes we've seen some twists and turns
- 34:42Speaker 1: at the end, but have we really seen something in
- 34:44Speaker 1: years where we have been so convinced that one of
- 34:46Speaker 1: the people really believes, like truly believes that their partner
- 34:51Speaker 1: is on the show with them, that there their heart
- 34:54Speaker 1: is in it, that the love exists. We haven't seen it,
- 34:57Speaker 1: and I've missed it. This is hard to watch. Again.
- 35:01Speaker 1: I don't enjoy watching it. But what's It's what keeps
- 35:04Speaker 1: me watching the show. That was a beautiful tribute. No,
- 35:10Speaker 1: thank you? Well, yes, it was a great diet tribe.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I really appreciate it. Well it is and I feel
- 35:15Speaker 1: like that towards Brandon and Serene too. Yeah. I have
- 35:18Speaker 1: a feeling we're not going to see tears there, so
- 35:21Speaker 1: we're just gonna see good love love. Let's talk about
- 35:25Speaker 1: the teaser for next week. We see Eliza going to Baltimore,
- 35:29Speaker 1: which is definitely forsake of drama because at the time
- 35:33Speaker 1: that Rodney is finding out that Eliza is going to
- 35:36Speaker 1: go after Justin, he's definitely still at Vendanta. Yeah, Justin,
- 35:42Speaker 1: Justin said one of the rooms, you usually don't leave
- 35:45Speaker 1: the day after the rose ceremony. They used like one
- 35:48Speaker 1: buffer day. I figured Justin was still there. And even
- 35:52Speaker 1: if there's any hesitance you know, the producers were going
- 35:54Speaker 1: to be like, oh, hold him, hold him there and
- 35:58Speaker 1: now they but like, nope, they send them home. Their
- 36:00Speaker 1: flights are probably within hours apart. They might be on
- 36:03Speaker 1: the same flight. But I love it. I love it
- 36:07Speaker 1: for the drama and I can't wait to see his
- 36:09Speaker 1: reaction because he seems more puzzled than happy. We'll have
- 36:15Speaker 1: I can't wait. I can't wait. Okay, um, let's go
- 36:17Speaker 1: onto headlines and then we'll wrap it back up. All right, Ashley,
- 36:31Speaker 1: it's time for Bachelor headlines. We have a couple of
- 36:34Speaker 1: them this week, A couple of them to break down,
- 36:36Speaker 1: a couple of them. I need your opinion on uh
- 36:39Speaker 1: and uh in your opinion more of what in the
- 36:41Speaker 1: world is happening? Uh. Jesse Palmer says Gabby Windy and
- 36:46Speaker 1: Eric are trying to quote work through things after broken engagement.
- 36:52Speaker 1: We're gonna call h And again, you guys. Fanna was
- 36:57Speaker 1: on our Breaking News podcast last week and we told
- 37:00Speaker 1: you about the breakup between Gabby and Eric and Hannah
- 37:03Speaker 1: so that she had seen him out and about in
- 37:06Speaker 1: Santa Monica, which is where he moved just prior to
- 37:09Speaker 1: the Bachelor. He was out with buddies and blah blah blah,
- 37:12Speaker 1: and well this weekend, right after the announcement of the breakup,
- 37:15Speaker 1: she saw him out again. What did you see? Oh,
- 37:19Speaker 1: you didn't see him. Your friends saw him. Our other producer,
- 37:23Speaker 1: Kendall Cohen, sent me a million pictures of him out
- 37:27Speaker 1: and about, and he was with the lady, was living life,
- 37:31Speaker 1: living life with ladies around him. It looked like he
- 37:34Speaker 1: was broken up. You've got me for good. Yeah, that's
- 37:37Speaker 1: what I'm just gonna say. It looks like they're working
- 37:39Speaker 1: through things. Huh, really working through things. My goodness. All right.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Next headline is this Bachelor Nation's Emily Maynard chairs baby
- 37:49Speaker 1: number six was born with Down syndrome. She speaks about
- 37:53Speaker 1: this with e I'm so happy for Emily. She just
- 37:57Speaker 1: seems to be the best mom, serious say, the best.
- 38:01Speaker 1: She's to me, like my idle bachelorette who I've never met,
- 38:06Speaker 1: And I just think she's such a wonderful spirit and
- 38:10Speaker 1: soul and I love watching her and her family grow.
- 38:13Speaker 1: So she never announced that she was having another baby,
- 38:17Speaker 1: but then just last week she said that on August
- 38:20Speaker 1: thirty one, Tyler and I welcomed our sweet son, their
- 38:23Speaker 1: sixth child. First off, like, can we just give a
- 38:27Speaker 1: moment to breathe after six kids? My goodness, yeah, my goodness,
- 38:33Speaker 1: Thank goodness, Ricky, her daughter is old enough now to
- 38:36Speaker 1: like probably take a little bit of a I don't
- 38:38Speaker 1: want to say par rental role, but a big help roll. Yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 1: So Jones West Johnson entered the world on August thirty one,
- 38:46Speaker 1: and she said, during my surgery, which I think she's
- 38:49Speaker 1: referring to a C section, but I'm not sure there. Um,
- 38:51Speaker 1: she goes, we learned that he was born with Down syndrome. Um,
- 38:56Speaker 1: and it was certainly a surprise. I didn't do genetic testing.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And she goes, we have so much peace in God's
- 39:01Speaker 1: perfect plan, and now that Jones is going to be
- 39:03Speaker 1: a blessing to our family. She said that he was
- 39:06Speaker 1: in the neo natal intensive care unit for a little
- 39:10Speaker 1: over a month and is now home and she just
- 39:13Speaker 1: couldn't love him more. Um, and she's just so thankful
- 39:17Speaker 1: for everything that the Atrim Health Leave in Children's Hospital
- 39:21Speaker 1: in Charlotte did for them during that time. Um, he's
- 39:26Speaker 1: such a cutey, He's such a CUTEI so um, I'm
- 39:31Speaker 1: excited to see how he in light you know, just
- 39:35Speaker 1: brings joy to their family. You know it's uh, it
- 39:39Speaker 1: is wild to have six kids. I cannot imagine it.
- 39:43Speaker 1: But she is a tremendous mother. Uh and uh and
- 39:47Speaker 1: you know what, congratulations on their six child together. Actually
- 39:51Speaker 1: switching gears a lot here. This is one um that
- 39:56Speaker 1: I needed your opinion on Bachelination stars Greg Grippo and
- 40:00Speaker 1: Victoria Fuller spark dating rumors. And then the second headline
- 40:04Speaker 1: is this Victoria Fuller kisses Greg Grippo at dinner with
- 40:09Speaker 1: Nick Vile and more Bachelor Nations members. Now, the only
- 40:13Speaker 1: reason we're even talking about this, Yes, they were spotted
- 40:15Speaker 1: in Rome together and so we have a good idea together.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Is that? Hut? Well that Nick posted this, He outed
- 40:23Speaker 1: the couple on his social media twice, Ashley, Really weird,
- 40:30Speaker 1: isn't that odd? I mean, do you think there was? Okay?
- 40:32Speaker 1: So there's a couple of rumors that I looked up
- 40:34Speaker 1: before this. Uh. You know one is just Nick was,
- 40:37Speaker 1: you know, doing his thing and and sparking a rumor
- 40:40Speaker 1: on his own social right. The second is that people
- 40:44Speaker 1: believe that maybe the producers we're working with Nick to
- 40:47Speaker 1: spark this and get the reaction. I don't see why
- 40:50Speaker 1: that would be beneficial to the show, but it is
- 40:52Speaker 1: a theory. Um. Yeah, we don't want to spoil like
- 40:55Speaker 1: too much here on the podcast. Obviously you guys can
- 40:58Speaker 1: look up spoilers as to what at the reunion show,
- 41:00Speaker 1: which taped on Friday. The first headline here is more
- 41:05Speaker 1: of like a like one of it's ex subtle, Okay,
- 41:09Speaker 1: So basically Victoria posted a picture and she said, go
- 41:12Speaker 1: on and put on that dress that all the bad
- 41:15Speaker 1: boys like, and then Greg responded underneath good girl. So
- 41:20Speaker 1: obviously that's on their own. That's them sparking the dating
- 41:23Speaker 1: rumors on their own. But then them being out and
- 41:26Speaker 1: about and being so obvious one in public and to
- 41:32Speaker 1: kissing on camera, and you know that, like, Nick didn't
- 41:36Speaker 1: do that without approval. There's no way he didn't do
- 41:39Speaker 1: that without it. But he did that with approval from
- 41:41Speaker 1: definitely Victoria and Greg. And I can't imagine Nick going
- 41:47Speaker 1: and pissing off the producers like that. So I feel
- 41:49Speaker 1: like there has to be some sort of overall approval
- 41:53Speaker 1: on this romance coming out. Yeah, it's a it's surprising
- 41:59Speaker 1: to me. When I saw it, I was like, this
- 42:01Speaker 1: is uh, yeah, this is surprising, if anything, that Nick
- 42:05Speaker 1: would be posting about this. I don't know. I'm not
- 42:07Speaker 1: I don't know anything about the details of this. I
- 42:09Speaker 1: just know that if I was dating somebody personally and
- 42:11Speaker 1: one of my friends posted a video knowing that people
- 42:14Speaker 1: were going to speak about it and talk about it,
- 42:16Speaker 1: and I was gonna have to be answering to it,
- 42:18Speaker 1: I would be upset because I would want. I mean,
- 42:21Speaker 1: when when Jessica and I were dating for you know,
- 42:24Speaker 1: I think four months before we became public or three
- 42:27Speaker 1: months before we became public, we did it on our
- 42:30Speaker 1: own time and what felt healthiest to us and what
- 42:32Speaker 1: felt like we were ready for. So I would be
- 42:34Speaker 1: shocked if there wasn't approval um from by Nick uh
- 42:40Speaker 1: for this post. And I don't think we have any
- 42:42Speaker 1: comments from Victoria greg on the video being shared. But
- 42:47Speaker 1: also my question is this why wanted the two of
- 42:51Speaker 1: them just want? I mean, if this is all about
- 42:53Speaker 1: like getting social media attraction and getting people to like show,
- 42:56Speaker 1: like be on your social media, one of the two
- 42:59Speaker 1: of them want to make this announcement or like post
- 43:01Speaker 1: this little video. My theory is this they want a
- 43:04Speaker 1: pepper in little hints and not be super obvious to
- 43:07Speaker 1: the math population that watches The Bachelor in Paradise. Yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: I think that they want to like kind of warm
- 43:14Speaker 1: the audience up to being like, this is happening. She's
- 43:18Speaker 1: not with Johnny, So even though you're about to see
- 43:21Speaker 1: a few more weeks of her possibly with Johnny on
- 43:24Speaker 1: the show, don't get attached to that storyline. But I
- 43:28Speaker 1: also don't think they wanted to be a big fat
- 43:30Speaker 1: spoiler for people who don't necessarily look for deep cuts
- 43:34Speaker 1: on social media. Okay, well, um, interesting developments playing out there,
- 43:39Speaker 1: and we're gonna see what's going on. Well, a couple
- 43:42Speaker 1: final headlines is here. Jesse Palmer teases that Zach season
- 43:46Speaker 1: of The Bachelor is easily the most emotional journey I've hosted.
- 43:49Speaker 1: He says this, according to This Weekly, I think he's
- 43:51Speaker 1: hosted this will be this is what third season? So yeah,
- 44:00Speaker 1: me too, me too, me too. He's a great little
- 44:02Speaker 1: puppet in this moment. Yeah. Um yeah, So he hosted
- 44:06Speaker 1: Clayton season and then uh the Girl's Double season and
- 44:10Speaker 1: then Paradise. So okay, it's more emotional than Clayton season.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I don't know. Clinton season got it pretty emotional there.
- 44:16Speaker 1: His here of his here his quotes that we don't
- 44:19Speaker 1: necessarily really believe because we are a little mad at
- 44:22Speaker 1: the fact that Zach is the bachelor over Ronnie at
- 44:24Speaker 1: the moment, But here we go. The women are really
- 44:26Speaker 1: into Zack. Zack so emotionally mature, and he's the guy
- 44:29Speaker 1: that's not afraid to wear his emotion on his sleeve.
- 44:32Speaker 1: He's very, very intentional. This is easily the most emotional
- 44:36Speaker 1: show that I've hosted in the franchise. It's going to
- 44:38Speaker 1: be emotionally charged, and it's because everybody really wants this.
- 44:41Speaker 1: It's a totally different vibe than the other shows that
- 44:43Speaker 1: I've hosted. I think he's doing amazing. I can't wait
- 44:46Speaker 1: people for people to see his journey. I don't know
- 44:49Speaker 1: how do you get more emotional than last night when
- 44:51Speaker 1: the whole cast is crying. I have no idea, but
- 44:54Speaker 1: I mean, I'll be excited to see because we'll be
- 44:56Speaker 1: watching it because that's what we do here at the
- 44:58Speaker 1: Almost Fame podcast. We we break it down, we share
