  Speaker 2: came out, it's like God was just dealing with me,

  Speaker 2: spoke with one of the prayer warriors and it was

  Speaker 2: like He was dealing with them too. So we went

  Speaker 2: back in prayer.

  Speaker 2: We are nowadays seventy six and we're just trusting them,

  Speaker 2: and then later on I can be in a volunteers

  Speaker 2: But I'm learning to embrace the moments. And I'm learning

  Speaker 2: that no matter what feeling I'm feeling, that I should

  Speaker 2: not wherever I am too long, and that when things

  Speaker 2: begin to be overwhelming or consuming to me, that I
• 14:09
  Speaker 2: do have people that care, that I can talk to

  Speaker 2: that are willing to listen and not always giving feedback,

  Speaker 2: but are willing to listen because I've learned that I
• 14:19
  Speaker 2: had to do the same thing. I had to learn

  Speaker 2: how to listen and understand what people were going through
• 14:30
  Speaker 2: and what people were saying, because not all the time

  Speaker 2: people want to hear that their loved one is in
• 14:36
  Speaker 2: a better place or they're not suffering no more.

  Speaker 6: You know, we understand, but our heart is hurting.

  Speaker 2: We're missing a piece of us, you know, a lot

  Speaker 2: of us. We don't think about what life would be

  Speaker 2: like without individuals in our lives, so we don't know

  Speaker 2: how to to to to handle those emotions and express

  Speaker 2: those emotions sometimes because there's no way you can prepare

  Speaker 2: for someone's absence when you're used to having their presence.

  Speaker 2: I'm i'm, I'm I'm learning I go because I'm i'm

  Speaker 2: I'm learning that each each incident, each each circumstance, each

  Speaker 2: loss is different, you know. And sometimes we we grieve

  Speaker 2: the loss of stuff besides just besides loved ones. You

  Speaker 2: you can have things, memories of things that are attached

  Speaker 2: to things and losing and you be like all these

  Speaker 2: people that have lost their homes, their homes were destroyed,

  Speaker 2: they lost their cars, things were destroyed that they're never

  Speaker 2: going to be able to see again and going to

  Speaker 2: be able to replace those things again because they have

  Speaker 2: sentimental attachments to them, but they have to learn how

  Speaker 2: to deal with them.

  Speaker 2: I always choose to hear people say it'll get better,

  Speaker 2: as did they go by. Oh that's not true, y'all,

  Speaker 2: because my mom has been gone since nineteen ninety one,

  Speaker 2: and some days it seemed like yesterday. Some days it

  Speaker 2: seems so overwhelming. I often wonder, you know, what would

  Speaker 2: But I'm grateful that I get these opportunities to share

  Speaker 2: these things and to allow these feelings to come out,

  Speaker 2: I process a lot of these things, because y'all, I'm

  Speaker 2: still dealing with Like for me, it's been back to back,

  Speaker 2: back to back, back to back, you know, every year,

  Speaker 2: even though I may not have been so expressive, every

  Speaker 2: year since eighty nine, y'all, I have lost someone close

  Speaker 2: to me and my family, an uncle, a cousin, auntie,

  Speaker 2: great aunts. You know, I've lost so many people. And

  Speaker 2: then it started getting there. There was one year I
• 17:28
  Speaker 2: lost six family members, and y'all, they were back to back,

  Speaker 2: back to back, back to back. Two weeks, I lost
• 17:36
  Speaker 2: three family members and three of them was to suicide

  Speaker 2: in that month, y'all. So when when I tell y'all,

  Speaker 2: sometimes people ask.

  Speaker 6: Me, how do you keep going?
