- Exposing13: Hey everybody, good morning, good afternoon or evening, depending on where you're at. For me, it's about noontime, and I am going to share over a period of time things I've learned about demons, deliverance, and spiritual warfare. This will be a long seminar of teachings that I'm going to unload on you. About 48 years of studying along these lines. Not gonna give any glory to the devil, but we just need to know how he operates and and so on and so forth so we can begin to overcome him in a greater detail. So before we start this, there may be an element of this at times where it may not be the best for s younger children. Some of the things I'll share over a period of time. I don't know if that's gonna be true today. So I just want to make sure that people know that if they're a little squ squeamish or maybe they're not children are not old enough to hear this, use use your parent parental discernment on that. All right. So anyway, also please subscribe to our channel, join our channel, like our channel, and like this video. That's all important for us going forward as we prepare to really go on you know, podcasts that are where I'll interview people and stuff like that. We're waiting on equipment and different things. But I'm I'm just kind of starting some of this stuff. And so today is my first my first one on this. And so go ma go to Matthew chapter four. We'll start at the beginning. Now not the beginning in Genesis. We could do that, but I've talked so much about that here recently. I think we'll move ahead to the New Testament and just see what the New Testament has to say. And it says a lot. this subject of of demons, you know, demon possession, this subject of you know of war for is warfare, spiritual warfare is huge. And people want to know. They want to know their authority in Christ and all this kind of thing. And these are things that well, I started studying forty-eight years ago. So I I mean, ever since I've been reading things and listening to things and you know meditating the word and doing teachings and doing notes on these things. So there's a lot of material to go through in the Bible if we really think about it. So the first thing I want to talk about is in Matthew chapter three, verse sixteen. Jesus went to get baptized, and in verse sixteen says, when he had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water. Behold the heavens were open to him. And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon him, and suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, This is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased. Chapter four verse one. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit or the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The word tempted there tempted, test, and tried. Verse two. When he had fasted forty days and forty nights afterwards he was hungry. Now when the tempter came to him, he said, If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. Now, as we go through this, I'm gonna take our time here. The first thing that pops out to me anyway in this particular scripture is that Jesus needed to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Before he really went into combat here with the enemy. I believe that Father God watched over him, the angels of God watched over him very carefully when he was growing up, protect him. But there's nowhere in the Bible that talks about him confronting evil spirits until he got born again. Or excuse me, until he got born again. Pardon me, until he got filled with the Holy Spirit. Now, we as Christians have authority the second we get saved. It's giv given to us by Jesus. But I think it's also very important to pay attention to the way it works. And there's an area, there's an area of authority that we've been given because of our position in Christ. And there's an area of power that God gives and gives us anointings and things like that to per to specifically deal sometimes with things like spiritual warfare, demons, prayer. And this all goes over into the areas of the gifts of the Spirit and everything else. So it's a big, big, big subject. But notice Jesus said that he was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted, tested, and tried of the devil. Why did that happen? So that he would this is all part of him dealing with the darkness, destroying the works of the devil, proving and showing who's really got the power, who's got the authority. And it's interesting because he goes on and says in verse two and when he had fasted forty days and forty nights afterward he was hungry. So fasting becomes an important part of the equation here. And I don't like people to get into fasting like it's a cure all or you're trying to gank God get God to do something for you and so you're you're if you fast long enough he'll see you and he'll he'll hear you. That is not reason we fast. That's legalism and to get to get into bondage pretty quickly. You know, we're saved by grace through faith, but fasting is a tool. It's something that g that draws us closer to the Heavenly Father. It's something that we need to do because we love him, not because we feel compelled. But Jesus did it at the leading of the Holy Spirit. And I believe he knew that this conflict was going to take place. Can you imagine? You know, I've had conflicts myself over the years with evil spirits, just you know, little turkey demons and stuff. And that's intense enough at times, then actually Satan himself. I can't even imagine that. That would be pretty pretty bizarre. But Jesus, of course, you know, hit him straight on afterwards, the Bible says, after he was hungry, and that's how Satan works in verse three, he says, When the tempter came to him, he said, If you are the Son of God, command these stones to be bread. Now I want to say this to you right off, okay? This is something that you need to understand. One of the things that Satan does to everybody is tempt them. The word tempt sometimes is tempting, like tempting to sin, sometimes is tests, trials, tribulations. Depends on how what word they're using, the tribulation. But he says here they're tempted of the devil, and I want to stop for a minute and say the word here is diabolos. And it means to cast. One who falsely accuses casts blame on somebody. And one who divides people by strife. Without any reasons, really just doing it because it works for him. He is an accuser. He is a slander. He is always a huge adversary. He's an opponent. And he is a betrayer. And all of that word there. is in that word devil. All those words are in the word devil. That's who he is. He is the great tempter. And when the tempter solicits us to sin, because he knows our weaknesses, so he arranges a temptation to see if we can fall, a trap, a snare, a scheme. Now, let me stop and say this to you. You must understand that Satan is a schemer. We'll get to that in a second. Satan arranges attacks to us. Now There is something, and I don't want to get out of too far away from this, but I want to share this with you. There is something clearly called a familiar spirit. And familiar spirits are assigned to every family. Every family line has familiar spirits. You do, I do, the Pope does. It doesn't matter who it is, they have familiar spirits. And those familiar spirits know all about the history, all the way back as far as your family goes. And they know the temptations, the things in the bloodline, the DNA, all those things that we talk about, they know thoroughly where our strengths and weaknesses are in the family. So they will target us with temptations, then the area that we're weakest in, or our family was weakest in, or things that run down our family lines. You need to know that so that you can go ahead and be honest with that type of thing. I remember once I chose my pastor years ago to be my pastor, and I knew I was going to be out starting churches and doing all those things. My pastor who's still my pastor today, I went to him and I kind of shocked him a little bit. I said, I'm going to tell you my weaknesses. And I shared some certain things that were I've been tempted in the past, of course, might be different for you, might be the same for you. Letting him know so he could pray for me, because all of us are tempted. at times and seasons and the enemy wants to come in and and still kill and destroy. So you need to understand that he has some understanding of you. He has some understanding of your family, these demon spirits. So we need to learn how to understand how he works. Now one of the words I'm gonna give you right off is excuse me, the word schemes. Schemes of Satan. Schemes. Schemes of the devil. Now go to First Peter chapter 5. Let's look at some scripture here. It's interesting to me. 1 Peter chapter 5. Very familiar portion of scripture to us all. And let me see if I can find it. I hope all of you are doing well. The leaves are starting to change up here. I think the next couple weeks are going be really beautiful. It's a good place to be up here right now. And then we're going to move over into the colder weather. First Peter chapter 5. And let's see where we I think it's verse 8. We're going to read down through this maybe a little bit. Notice what it says in verse in verse five. I wanna I want to just read verse five. Likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another and be clothed with humility. Now, this is important because he's talking about learning to be humble, to submit, because we want to, I guess you could say this, we want to go into spiritual battle, if you want to use that term. We're fighting the good fight of faith. There there the first thing we have to have is humility. Pride will get you in trouble because pride comes from Satan. That's how he fell. You don't want to be in pride trying to resist the devil when pride is the thing that got that lowered him down. You don't want to do that. You want to approach all spiritual warfare. You want to approach all prayer. You want to approach all of everything we do in God with a hum oath of humility about you. Because then you're in a position where God can take over, protect, and use you. He says this, it says, likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to the elders. So there's this understanding of humility that you learn even amongst the church here. Yes, all of you be subject to one another and be clothed with humility. So that's that's the point. Humility is very important to all of us. Then he goes on and says, Because God. resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Now God resists the proud, not just the devil. So, you know, you might be able to get over on the devil a little bit, but not God. So I would really recommend that you would take a big dose of humility right now and just say, Lord, teach me about these things and approach this with reverence and respect. So many Christians over the years, I just some is I've seen some of the most r ridiculous stuff. You know, people calling the devil Sloughfoot and, you know, making mocking him and and and his demons and all this. I would encourage you to have respect for your enemy. Like I think that even Michael the Archangel was like that. He said, The Lord rebuke you. We understand, see, that we're we're fighting principalities and powers and ruler you know, we're we're not fighting flesh and blood. And to do that, what the humility needs to be there so that God can use us to expose and and to you know get people delivered from these things. So humbling ourselves is very important. It says this, therefore, or because of the statement before, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time. If you humble yourself, he will exalt you. That's the key to being exalted is to being humble, humble yourself. How do you do that? Casting all your care on him for he cares for you. This is a really important thing. The devil can get into people and mess with them if they're in a if they stay in a in a state of fear, anxiety, worry, concern, always worrying. That is an open door, and you need to close that right now. Verse 8 Be sober. Now that's not just talking about, you know, not drinking whiskey or something. But it's talking about or too much whiskey, whatever you want to say. It's talking about a state of mind. sober, this word sober is an interesting word. When you when you look it up, it really it's kind of like wisdom. It's kind of like you're being s set up on a mountain and being able to see all five sides of the mountain at once. If you're not up there high enough, you know, on the mountain, you can't see that. And so sober-minded people can think like God does about things. And that means that you your mind works not just in one area, but every every every principle of the of the Word of God. An example of what I'm talking about is years ago when I first came into understanding these things that I'm talking about now, it was it was it was, you know, I would just, you know, I was just like a tunnel vision on it. You know, I didn't realize that sometimes God allows certain things, not sickness and disease and poverty and fear, but he he allows some things in a in our lives himself. It's not the devil doing it to people. And some peop sometimes people come to me and they're they're t you know, they're telling me all the stories about what's happening to them. And I'm thinking as a pastor of year of years and years of experience, is the devil's not even involved in this. Th they got in trouble with their own mind. Their own decision making, and that's because of their of a lack of renewing the mind. That's why renewing the mind is so important. But here we see we do have somebody, all right, that knows how to attack us. So it says in verse 8: Be sober, be vigilant, stay on top of things, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him steadfast in the faith. Knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace who has called us to eternal glory by Jesus Christ, after you have suffered a while, be wow perfect, established, strengthen, and settle you. To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. So we see here a really, really important little scripture to learn. Satan attacks us. He walks around the earth like a roaring lion. Of course, we know that he's not a roaring lion because Jesus broke his teeth, but he'll he will roar. He will make it look bad. He will say to you, There's no way out of this, so on and so forth. And he'll he'll seek those people that'll let him in by doing something unscriptural or not understanding who they are in Christ or Not resisting him the right way, seeking whom he may devour. There are people he may devour, and there's people that he can't devour. And then it says, resist him, stand against him, steadfast in faith. And you're gonna do that, you're gonna have to open your mouth just like Jesus did in Matthew chapter four, which we'll get back to in a second. I wanted to show you this. How do we resist the devil? Well, if you go back to Matthew chapter four. It's really the it there's very I mean it's very clear. When we look at Matthew chapter four and we we read about what Jesus did here, immediately the tempt let's go to verse two of chapter four. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he hungered, now that that's when Jesus had a weak point physically he attacked. And he said, If you are the Son of God, command these stones to be bred. If, you see, he threw doubt in there. It will if you maybe are, maybe you're not, you know. But if you are, show me and and command these stones to become bread. Well, you know, those type of crazy temptation things that that people do, fleeces and all that kind of stuff that they do, sometimes I think are are pretty dangerous because we don't want to tempt God, you know, and so Jesus answered and said, It's written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Now notice how quickly when Jesus speaks the word of God to the devil, he moves on to another subject. Okay? And he shows us that you're gonna have you resist the devil, first of all, by humility. Jesus had to be a very humble person to fast 40 days, right? He was in that position that God wanted him to be in to face these temptations. And the way he resisted the temptation that came, when it came, came to him, it comes to all of us. is by speaking the word. But let me ask you a question. If you don't know the word, how can you speak the word? So you need to spend time getting that word down inside you. Then he goes on to get off of that bread stuff, you know, and he got in verse five. Then the devil took him up to the holy city, set him on a temp a pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, He shall give his angels charge over you. And in their hands they'll bury you up. You see you dash your foot against a stone. Well, we see now that the devil knows the scriptures. The devil uses the scriptures, twice use them, and twists them. You'll find out in the cultic groups a lot of their studies do with the Bible, especially if they have an assignment of infiltrating the church. We have a lot of people doing that today, and that's because they've been trained their whole life to do that in in the I call it the system, all of the occult world. Now, that is an important thing to understand. That they are going to come, right, and they're going to try to do everything they can to trick us. And therefore, they have twisted the word of God and and built out of that traditions of men, man-made doctrines, and even doctrines of demons that are really in the church and trying to take over the church. And so that's the first thing you have to watch out for. You you see we see it here. Takes the scriptures into real scriptures, but takes them out of context. And you can try, you know, try to get people to sin this way. You know, I've I've heard of people say that, you know, do this kind of thing. So anyway, the point being is he took him up and showed him, see, that it you shall not tempt the Lord your God. Verse s eight again, all right. So he He's pretty he he's going at it again. He's going to try another thing. It didn't work. Again the devil took him up an exceedingly high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me. Now then Jesus said to him, Away with you, Satan, for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only will you serve. Then the devil left him. And behold, angels came and ministered to him. All right. And we know from the other scriptures that the but the devil left him for a season. So Jesus was attacked again at times. So anyway, we look at this and we see something. We see that you have to resist the devil. You've got to know the word of God. You've got to quote the scriptures. And if you're not in a position to do that, you need to go find them in the Bible and start quoting them. in your particular case, because that's how you defeat the devil. That's how you resist the devil. There's other things you can do, but this is very important that you learn this right off, because you're going to have to use it. And I wanted to make a a a point here in verse eight when he says it took him high up on the mountain, showed him all the kings of the world. That was his to give, because he is the God of this world system. second Corinthians four four. Some people say, well, you know, that's not a temptation because he doesn't He can't do that. He doesn't own, you know, he doesn't run everything. Truth of the matter is right now Satan's in charge of the world, most of the world. Now, the only way God gets in there is is through covenant with his people, through our prayers, through our preaching and teaching of the word, and so on and so forth. Ultimately, we know God's in control. He's gonna throw the devil out. But what what I want you to think about is that there are many people Just like he targeted Jesus like this, many people that Satan has targeted over the years with a temptation to worship him, to to serve him, with the promise of all kinds of things. And I can tell you, after studying so many years on the occult world, there are there is an element of people in the world today, I call them the system. Some people would call them the deep state, the Illuminati, all this kind of stuff. And many of these people have totally sold out to the devil and to his ways, and they have opened the door to every demon they could get in them. They they have these rituals and and they've totally sold out to the devil, and he promised them this and that and the other thing. And many of these people find themselves in positions of great wealth, great power, sometimes politicians, so on, wherever it might be. And but You have to understand that these people are sad. They're not happy. The people that are serving the devil are never happy. It's just a constant party which is going to let you down. And let me tell you something. We have the idea in our brains, and I don't know where we get it, but we have the idea that if you're into the occult and you're high up in the occult, that you're going to have all the money in the world and and all the women and all this kind of stuff, you know, whatever. Okay. The truth of the matter is. Many people in the occult that run it are not wealthy. They're not the ones you would think. They're smaller people that have regular jobs out here. They do that because that takes the focus off of the them and puts it on the, you know, the guys like the royal family or whoever. And it's good to know about those things, but really the truth of the matter is that's not what's happening in your area. And so you need to understand that the devil's has people that have sold out more and more and more and more because of the influence of the occult world and all that, are selling out their you can't sell your soul. I don't like even like that term because it's not that there's to sell. But you can give your life to a cause. Many people believe that Satan or Lucifer or other demon spirits are gonna rule the world. And they want to be part of that and so on and so forth, so they give their lives and they have to do horrible things to get it. The more power they get, they have to do horrible things to do it. It's a very it's like the worst drug. The Echolt is like the worst drug there is. And so we see that these people here are going to have some some influence in the world. Satan gives them influence because it's his to give. And just like when the in in Genesis chapter six when the sons of God came down and saw that the women were fair and I'm sure they they targeted the the most wealthy families and the you know the highest ranking families around and so on and so forth because that would be the start of the whole thing. They they had the relationships with the women and out of that came the Nephilim. When all that happened, the Nephilim or the the watchers came down, they taught these women and they taught the people of the day about the occult. They put taught them about secrets that were in heaven that God had not revealed to anybody, but they knew about it and that's what got them in trouble, really. They they they were extending the knowledge that was forbidden, okay, and to people to use and against God and so on and so forth. And that stuff really worked. I mean there the the occult world w works. It and there's a lot of, you know, the a lot of power in it. They lear they have learned to harness energy. They take the energy, spiritual energy. They take that spiritual energy and they know how to wield it. They learn how to use it. They learn how to do things, saying wicked things with it. They control whole towns and cities. They can tr can the control the drug, the mafia, anything that you see, you know, the the the child things. Anything that you see today that's evil across the world, the whole transvestite thing, transgender thing, all that is controlled by the system. By by people, because of people who have made the decision to sell out to the devil, Jesus resisted that. That is a literal temptation that goes on all around the world every day, and people are coming into contact with these evil spirits and doing this. And so their their lives are not gonna go good. And so it's us who know this stuff that need to shout it out. So people can get out of it. And you can get out of it if you want to. Then there there's there's a lot of lot of scriptures I got written down here, but I'm running out of time in this particular session. I want you to know that When we talk about these things, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. I approach this whole study with the understanding that Jesus Christ already defeated the devil. This is the only way I will ever preach about spiritual warfare. See, we're not trying to defeat Satan. Satan has already been defeated. Every principality and power was made a show of openly, the Bible says, in the death, the burial, and the resurrection, the blood of Jesus, the resurrection, power of Jesus. Completely and totally legally paid the price for every human being on planet Earth to get saved and have victory over the devil. But human beings, being what they are, many times do not want to take the time to find out from the Word of God what is theirs and then wield the sword. They miss out so much on God's blessings. There are times where you must confront evil. It will confront you, and you must confront it. There are times. And somebody says it just happens to me all the time. Well, there's something wrong with that. Okay, we got we gotta talk about that later. But every once in a while there will be a confrontation that I'll have to have. Most of mine are are direct contact, right in deliverance or something, and it could be it can be something else when you when you when you have those things. But in no way do we ever allow fear Satan and what he can do, and the witches have so much power, and they can do this and they can do that against us. No, they can't. We have the authority. We've been raised to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, far above all principality and power and might and dominion. And every name that's named, not only in this world, but also in the world to come. And we better remember that all the time. Never get into an idea that somehow Satan can overcome you. Because Jesus said we just overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. And it's good to give testimonies. It's good to have people on your podcast giving testimonies. Those testimonies overcome Satan because they show how people have come out of this thing, and it's possible to do so, and people get encouraged by that, and many of them will take that step to come out. It's a long road for many people involved in the occult. It's a long road for many people today just because of their past. They may not be in the occult, but the pa their family issues and so on and so forth. You got a lot of issues, and it's all because Satan has found a way in, and he is he the he is using the word schemes, which we'll talk about again. The word schemes there. He has a plan. Actually, a real pen, like a game plan. Like you would approach a football game. We have a game plan. We're gonna do this, we're gonna run this many times, try to pass this many times, or we're gonna do it, try to find out the weak spots and In the defense and all that kind of stuff that they do in football, basketball, baseball, sports, it's the same way with the devil. He has a game plan for your life and he has backups for it. So he has a game plan to keep you not saved, but when you get saved, then he has to go to plan B and plan C and plan D. And so what you need to do is you need to resist him when he comes with these plans and schemes and break them up. And you'll get to the point to where you can stop before they start. And actually in America and around the world, we need to do that as a whole for all of our the United States of America, all of our systems. All of them, you know, the pol the the political. this just the educational systems, you know, everything that it's all involved in the system and must be dealt with. There is a great Taking the part of the system going on. Legitimately, we are we are unraveling that. It's being exposed. Satan is mad as a hatter about this. And the Bible says he c in the last days he's come down with great wrath because he knows his time is short. So we're we're exposing darkness. We are exposing these things. Never ever allow the enemy to come in and and fill you with fear. Because we don't have nothing to be fearful about. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world if you've been born again. Now if you have not been born again, I'm gonna give you an opportunity right now. Maybe you're sitting there and you say, I don't know, I go to church, but do you really know the Lord? And the way you know that is because you know it. You know that you know that you know inside. Nob nobody can take it away from you because you've been changed. If any man be in Christ, he's a new creature. All things pass away, behold all things become new. And I want you To know that Jesus cares about you, loves you, has a plan for your life, no matter what age you are. You can be a little kid all the way up to a 90-year-old person. He still has a plan, he still loves you, he still cares about you, he wants you to go to heaven. The way we do that is accept what he did. When he died on that cross and shed his blood, he did it for you. When he raised from the dead, God saw you there with him. All the people that would accept him. And in the mind of God, he knows who they are. And if you're one of those, of course you'd be listening to me right now, and you've never really made him Lord of your life, you need to do that right now. You come into the kingdom, life will start to change. I didn't say life is going to be you know, just you know, wonderful, never have any trials or tribulations in life, but it will be different. It'll be exciting, you'll have authority, you'll get victory, you'll start seeing victory, you'll start knowing how to do it. It's a wonderful life. The devil has lied for years, trying to make us see religious people and religion. Well, it's not about that. It's about Jesus Christ on the inside of us, Christ in you, the hope of glory. So if that's you, you want to pray, pray with me. Say, Heavenly Father, I'm a sinner, I need help. I know that. I messed my life up. And I want you to intervene right now and take over my life. I by faith. believe that Jesus died for me, shed his blood for me, rose again for me, I receive that, that covenant with him. Thank you, Father, Father, for doing it. Make me a new person, new creation on the inside. Make me the righteousness of God. Take that old sinful nature out of my spirit and pour in righteousness. Thank you, Lord, for doing it in Jesus' name. And Lord, the Bible says, say it out loud, the Bible says, if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead, I shall be saved. So I do that. I confess Jesus as Lord. Now if you receive that, hallelujah, you need to also be filled with the Holy Spirit. And that is a very simple thing to do.
