A wild confrontation erupted outside a Publix in Panama City when James Gay, 35, allegedly stormed toward Everette Krichbaum, 52, in his car, grabbed a machete, and attacked him. Krichbaum, fearing for his life, pulled out a hatchet in self-defense.
