- 0:26Speaker 2: Pretty good? Mark? Pretty good? When do you think the
- 0:28Speaker 2: bombing is going to resume?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'd say Saturday Friday?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't you think it's going to be pretty
- 0:37Speaker 2: maybe like after the stock market closes for for three days?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah, okay, yeah, you're right. Friday,
- 0:44Speaker 1: Friday night, Friday night.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it seems like they it seems like
- 0:49Speaker 2: people are, you know, starting to, you know, get a
- 0:51Speaker 2: little concerned. You know. I sew this editorial in the
- 0:54Speaker 2: New York Post and Jack Keene, who's one of the
- 0:57Speaker 2: retired general is one of his big supporters on was saying, well,
- 1:00Speaker 2: we're six weeks into the two week cease fire, et cetera,
- 1:04Speaker 2: et cetera. Seems like, you know, he's got to do something,
- 1:07Speaker 2: doesn't he? Oh?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Absolutely, yeah, no, Jack Keene has all kinds of targets
- 1:11Speaker 1: he wanted, apparently Israel and everybody. They've come up with
- 1:14Speaker 1: about two to three weeks of stuff to hit, so
- 1:16Speaker 1: it'll be pretty good. But you think two months from
- 1:20Speaker 1: now everything will be fine or ran will be solved, right.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I hope so? Well, you know what I think. Don't
- 1:27Speaker 2: you think that he wants it solved by the two
- 1:30Speaker 2: hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the founding the birthday of America.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I mean it's got to be wrapped up by that.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure it will be the vict brief. Don't
- 1:41Speaker 1: Democrats ever learn? You know, when Trump looks like he's
- 1:43Speaker 1: in the middle of trouble and they're yelling and screaming
- 1:45Speaker 1: that tech in the end, he always ends up being right.
- 1:47Speaker 1: He always ends up solving the problem, doesn't he.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah, he does, he does, and the Democrats just look
- 1:54Speaker 2: crazier and crazier. How about this woman in Texas that
- 1:56Speaker 2: wants to put Zionist in concentration camp? I mean, wow,
- 2:02Speaker 2: talk about the you know, the mask falling? Why just
- 2:08Speaker 2: put on a hood, you know, white white pillow case
- 2:12Speaker 2: and you know, just come out to go go like
- 2:14Speaker 2: the old days burn across down there in Texas where
- 2:17Speaker 2: she's running for office. Good lord, they really are out
- 2:22Speaker 2: of their minds. It's just unbelieving. It's just horrible. I
- 2:26Speaker 2: had that guy Jonathan Alberton, you know, the guy who
- 2:29Speaker 2: you know, was talking about Trump derangement syndrome, the psychotherapist
- 2:32Speaker 2: on my show yesterday. It is these women outside of
- 2:36Speaker 2: Luigi's trial. I mean, this is like a mutation of
- 2:39Speaker 2: Trump derangement syndrome. Right, It's like some kind of crazy crazy.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I mean, it's not a cancer, it's a mental disease.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It just looks mutating. It. The more and more awful variations.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Hey, a big night last night for President Trump. All
- 2:55Speaker 1: the people he endorsed. He was thirty seven and oh,
- 2:58Speaker 1: thirty seven victories. Pretty impressive, isn't it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, you know. I mean and again I
- 3:03Speaker 2: mean Massy going crazy saying he couldn't reach his opponent
- 3:06Speaker 2: because he's in Tel Aviv. I mean, it's just he
- 3:09Speaker 2: Trump brings out the worst in all of these people.
- 3:12Speaker 2: And you know, fifty five forty five that's like, that's
- 3:15Speaker 2: like borderline landslide, you know, especially since he's been in
- 3:19Speaker 2: the House for what seven terms, and you know, another
- 3:22Speaker 2: one I think that people people haven't paid enough attention
- 3:25Speaker 2: to is Brad Raffitsberger in Georgia. Yeah, I mean finishing third.
- 3:31Speaker 2: I mean he, you know, that guy that was part
- 3:33Speaker 2: of the whole thing, you know, that whole lie about
- 3:38Speaker 2: find the votes. And you know, his his top eight
- 3:41Speaker 2: was the one who who put all that bs together
- 3:44Speaker 2: and also violated the law by you know, recording the
- 3:47Speaker 2: recording the phone call in a two party stay and
- 3:50Speaker 2: you know, and he and you know, people just you know,
- 3:53Speaker 2: they haven't noticed that he went down in flames finishing
- 3:57Speaker 2: third like Cassidy did in Louisiana. Now, but cast what
- 4:01Speaker 2: a what a what a paragon of virtue he is he?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Now he now wants to invoke the War Powers Act.
- 4:08Speaker 2: He loses the primary and totally flips. Well, well, Senator,
- 4:13Speaker 2: as long as it's nothing personal.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Hey, we got the word today. Barney Frank died at
- 4:20Speaker 1: age of eighty six. You know, you go back twenty years,
- 4:23Speaker 1: Barney Frank was the angry, screaming left wing. Today he'd
- 4:26Speaker 1: be like a moderate in that party, wouldn't he.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, well he, I mean he said he said it
- 4:31Speaker 2: at the at the very end. You know that he that,
- 4:34Speaker 2: you know that this was not the way to go,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and that they weren't going to win any elections this way.
- 4:39Speaker 2: And yeah, you're right, I mean he was. He was
- 4:44Speaker 2: really an odd character. I mean, you know, for for
- 4:48Speaker 2: as nutty as he was, he was, he was really
- 4:51Speaker 2: a witty guy in his own way. And I knew
- 4:55Speaker 2: him at the you know, at city Hall in the
- 4:57Speaker 2: state House, and you know, he had he many many
- 5:00Speaker 2: great lines. He had. One of his lives was the
- 5:04Speaker 2: the He said that they're two bad things can happen
- 5:09Speaker 2: to you. If you run for Boston City Council number one,
- 5:12Speaker 2: you could lose. Number two, you could win. And he
- 5:15Speaker 2: also and he also said he learned something from the
- 5:18Speaker 2: hot Bottom scandal. He said, he said, your core constituency
- 5:21Speaker 2: is not the people who are with you when you're right.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Your core constituency of the people who are with you
- 5:28Speaker 2: when you're wrong. And that's it's so true. You know,
- 5:33Speaker 2: he was, I don't know he you know, he he
- 5:37Speaker 2: he used to he used to yell at me. He
- 5:40Speaker 2: yelled at everybody who disagreed with him. But you know,
- 5:42Speaker 2: he compared to the other guy and the other gay
- 5:45Speaker 2: guy in the Massachusetts delegation. Gary Studd's the one who
- 5:48Speaker 2: was raping underage boys on the junkets, who junkets to Spain.
- 5:53Speaker 2: You know, he was he was one of nature's noblemen.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I guess I would say, hey, Howie.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Carr, you're upon each guy. They're going to rename the
- 6:01Speaker 1: airport in July. It becomes Donald J. Trump International Airport.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Isn't that great for liberals that have to fly there?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Won't that be torture for them?
- 6:10Speaker 2: They get used to it, though, they got they got used,
- 6:13Speaker 2: They've got used to Reagan International. Right, this is but yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 2: you're right, this is this is worse for them. Yeah,
- 6:19Speaker 2: I guess they will they you know, the the Fort
- 6:21Speaker 2: Lauderdale Airport is already kind of overcrowded, but maybe some
- 6:24Speaker 2: of them will start flying down there anyway because to Trump.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you leave Trump Airport, you gotta go down Donald J.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Trump Boulevard to get to the island.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Right, that's right. Southern, Yeah, Southern Boulevard is being everyone's
- 6:39Speaker 2: still okay. It's one of those things there, you know, everybody,
- 6:41Speaker 2: you know, for twenty years, everyone will still call it
- 6:44Speaker 2: Southern Boulevard and it will kind of fade away and
- 6:46Speaker 2: it will become Trump Boulevard, I guess, you know, but
- 6:50Speaker 2: you see, you know, it's uh, it's it's really great
- 6:53Speaker 2: that they're that they're doing doing these things for him too,
- 6:56Speaker 2: because it should be named after him, you know, I
- 6:58Speaker 2: mean he and again, and I think I've told you
- 7:01Speaker 2: this before, but you know mar A Lago, if he
- 7:04Speaker 2: hadn't have bought the place from the town, because the
- 7:06Speaker 2: town owned that she Marjorie Merriweather Post had given it
- 7:09Speaker 2: to the town. If he hadn't bought it, it would
- 7:11Speaker 2: now be condos, you know, just another another you know,
- 7:15Speaker 2: three hundred condos, you know, high rise overlooking the lake.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Lake Warred. I mean, he he really did the town
- 7:23Speaker 2: a great historical service. You know, He's right up there
- 7:27Speaker 2: with Flagler, you know in terms of you know, making
- 7:30Speaker 2: the town better, I think in terms of development, but
- 7:33Speaker 2: no one will ever admit it.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah, if you go down to Florida, everything is named
- 7:36Speaker 1: Flagler or Meisner, whoever these two guys were.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Meiser was the architect, right, yeah, and Flagler was the guy.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Flagler was Rockefeller's partner who you know, first realized what
- 7:47Speaker 2: a great place it was and built the Florida East
- 7:49Speaker 2: Coast railroad way that was, you know, brought everything down,
- 7:53Speaker 2: including all the rich people in their private private cars
- 7:57Speaker 2: from New York. Hey.
- 8:00Speaker 1: If there were no term limits, Donald Trump could win
- 8:03Speaker 1: in twenty twenty eight, couldn't he.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah? I did. I That was my poll question a
- 8:08Speaker 2: couple of days ago, Mark I did. I asked the
- 8:12Speaker 2: question and I said, would you vote for for Trump
- 8:14Speaker 2: for a fourth for for the fourth time? And I
- 8:17Speaker 2: eighty five percent of my listeners said, yeah, they would.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I think they. I think I think it went again,
- 8:22Speaker 2: wouldn't he? Yeah? And why?
- 8:24Speaker 1: I just still don't understand why we have term limits
- 8:26Speaker 1: for Congress and not for for the present but not
- 8:29Speaker 1: for Congress. What sense does that make?
- 8:31Speaker 2: I think people? I think people got a in the
- 8:33Speaker 2: in the forties, people just said said, you know, Roosevelt
- 8:36Speaker 2: shouldn't have shouldn't have run all those times, especially the
- 8:39Speaker 2: last term when he was obviously dying, and then you know,
- 8:42Speaker 2: the war was going on, so you know, don't change
- 8:45Speaker 2: horses in the middle of a stream. You know that
- 8:47Speaker 2: all that's saying from forty four, and they just want
- 8:50Speaker 2: to make sure it never happened again. And it's it's
- 8:52Speaker 2: one of those things that it's probably not. It probably
- 8:54Speaker 2: was in needed. It's you know, it's it's like that,
- 8:57Speaker 2: you know. You know what the most worthless amendment though,
- 8:59Speaker 2: of all time is the twenty fifth Amendment. Did anyone
- 9:03Speaker 2: ever seriously think that that the members of the cabinet
- 9:06Speaker 2: were going to vote to remove their boss? I mean,
- 9:11Speaker 2: that just goes against everything in human nature, doesn't it. Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And actually Biden was the ultimate test of that. If
- 9:17Speaker 1: it didn't kick in with him, it's never going to kick.
- 9:20Speaker 2: In, right, And they never and they and all and
- 9:22Speaker 2: now all these guys that were in the cabinets, I
- 9:25Speaker 2: never saw the guy I never saw, you know, because
- 9:28Speaker 2: because they couldn't put they couldn't put him out there. Yeah,
- 9:32Speaker 2: not even not even to the people he worked for. Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 2: So it's I mean, it's just it's worthless sometimes. You
- 9:38Speaker 2: sometimes they put in these amendments that aren't really necessary.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Some people just think that we never should have had
- 9:43Speaker 2: an amendment to allow the senator to be elected by
- 9:46Speaker 2: the by the by the vote of the people, that
- 9:48Speaker 2: they should have continued to be elected by the legislature.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Have you seen our legislature? I don't think so.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, say, yeah, New York and Massachusetts have
- 9:58Speaker 2: the same problem with the legisl It wouldn't it wouldn't
- 10:01Speaker 2: be much. It's like the election of judges, you know.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's a nice concept theoretically to elect judges,
- 10:07Speaker 2: but it it really doesn't work out all that well,
- 10:10Speaker 2: does it.
- 10:10Speaker 1: No, Hey, Caroline Levitt, you're a protege there. She's on
- 10:15Speaker 1: maternity leave. So one day Rubio filled and he was
- 10:18Speaker 1: dazzling at that press briefing. Yesterday, Vance Fielding wasn't quite
- 10:21Speaker 1: as dazzling as Rubio was.
- 10:23Speaker 2: He No, And you know I was, you know, sometimes
- 10:27Speaker 2: I watch it on TV and then I listened again
- 10:29Speaker 2: when I replay the cuts up my show, and he
- 10:32Speaker 2: really wasn't all that enthusiastic about Trump's plan for I ran.
- 10:38Speaker 2: You know, you could kind of tell he he was.
- 10:40Speaker 2: He was going through the motions and he was, but
- 10:43Speaker 2: he didn't he didn't really deliver. I know, I thought
- 10:46Speaker 2: Rubio was better. I think Rubio is really picking up steam.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And you know, I guess he's still I guess he
- 10:52Speaker 2: said last week again that he was still abow to advance.
- 10:56Speaker 2: But you know what, no one's holding him to. No
- 10:58Speaker 2: one's sold him to a statement like that. You know
- 11:01Speaker 2: he's he wasn't under oath when he said it either.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a couple of years away. And you're right,
- 11:07Speaker 1: that was a turning point, that briefing. But well, great stuff.
