Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on relatables.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I had a boyfriend and he went through my phone
- 0:04Speaker 2: to see my chut ChiPT prompts. I would be and like,
- 0:08Speaker 2: there's nothing in my chut ChiPT.
- 0:09Speaker 3: That's a value invasion of your pride.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I would be livid. I'd be like, get you're dumb.
- 0:13Speaker 3: I dump them.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'd be like, and you know what I'm dumping you by?
- 0:22Speaker 4: I would I was going to.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Make the break up nicer.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Okaydie and I.
- 0:43Speaker 5: The other day we found these kind of like rage
- 0:47Speaker 5: bait questions that girlfriends will ask their boyfriends, and so
- 0:51Speaker 5: we were trying to figure out the right answer to them,
- 0:53Speaker 5: and we think we found two really hard ones that
- 0:54Speaker 5: don't have a right answer, and wanted to ask you
- 0:57Speaker 5: guys if they do have a right answer. Okay, first
- 0:59Speaker 5: one is if your X and I swapped bodies, who
- 1:01Speaker 5: would you be with the y?
- 1:04Speaker 6: You just say, you just say you obviously, or you
- 1:07Speaker 6: just say why are you even thinking about that?
- 1:09Speaker 3: That's strange, that's very diffive.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Yeah, deflect, deflect, No, you.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Always say the girlfriend. I would say, I would be like,
- 1:19Speaker 3: are you going.
- 1:19Speaker 1: To be with? So?
- 1:21Speaker 3: What's the question again?
- 1:22Speaker 1: So let's say you've asked your your your your husband.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Correct, Yeah, you've asked your husband if your ex and
- 1:27Speaker 5: I swapped bodies as in X, who would you be
- 1:31Speaker 5: with in?
- 1:31Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:32Speaker 2: So?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Who would he be with him? Why would he would
- 1:33Speaker 1: you prefer him to be with You'd say, ex is
- 1:35Speaker 1: brain and your body.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Your brain is a brain, because I'm in love with
- 1:39Speaker 2: your soul, not your physical appearance would be the right thing,
- 1:42Speaker 2: but that I'd.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Be like, so watch you god body.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Honestly, let's say I would say your brain, like the
- 1:54Speaker 2: soul one is the right answer.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, it's a rock and a hard place. Okay, okay, okay,
- 2:01Speaker 3: I'm going to build on that. Then you can follow
- 2:03Speaker 3: it and.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Be like, but I'd be wishing I was sucking your body.
- 2:06Speaker 3: No, No, that's when you do that thing.
- 2:11Speaker 6: That's like, babe, i'd love you if you're even inside
- 2:15Speaker 6: a bugs body?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Oh why a bug? It's like a thing on TikTok.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Would you love me if I was a bug?
- 2:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 3: If I was a word? It is so like it's
- 2:25Speaker 3: a Super Girls questions.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Apple content online like would you still love mes?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Like, but I'd be wishing I was fucking your body? Listen,
- 2:35Speaker 3: this is what i'd actually say, you know what I'd say.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So if someone asked me that, I'd be like, Babe,
- 2:41Speaker 2: I'd be married to you, your soul in my ex's body,
- 2:44Speaker 2: but I'd be cheating on you with your.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Body, your cake and eat it to next We've got
- 2:52Speaker 7: one more.
- 2:53Speaker 1: We got one more too. If I didn't exist, would
- 2:55Speaker 1: you date other women? Yes?
- 3:00Speaker 3: I could never imagine a world without you.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So we both said, like that, my personality is in
- 3:06Speaker 2: a nutshell reflective aggressive.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I'm like just being.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Honest and say yeah, yeah, I know, but it's like,
- 3:16Speaker 2: you know, but just answer the question dancing.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I don't actually need.
- 3:21Speaker 6: To know if you're dating anyone else. Like, it's my world,
- 3:23Speaker 6: my university. I just want to be here.
- 3:24Speaker 3: It's just me.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I always used to say to my lie to me
- 3:28Speaker 2: about that, just be cute. I always used to say
- 3:30Speaker 2: to my ex boyfriend if I died or you could,
- 3:33Speaker 2: you could move on.
- 3:35Speaker 3: You want someone that you love to be happy.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You know now that I'm still alive, you can go fuckself.
- 3:41Speaker 6: But at the time it's funny though, because I always
- 3:44Speaker 6: say I have this irrational fear, which is actually quite rational,
- 3:47Speaker 6: of like losing the person I love like I'm so
- 3:50Speaker 6: fearful of that, which I shouldn't even.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Said.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I do so, I think I even thinking about
- 3:56Speaker 3: that stuff. I probably just get a bit too emotion.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fair podcast.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It's hosted by myself, Jake Craig a KA Daddy, and
- 4:03Speaker 5: my partner in crime is the Autie Clark a k
- 4:05Speaker 5: A Mummy, And we have two very special guests today,
- 4:09Speaker 5: Lucy and Nicky from.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Congress with that beautiful introo boy.
- 4:18Speaker 1: For some reason, nerve wracking doing it in front of people.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Were just like saying, Mummy and Daddy is just like
- 4:22Speaker 1: in front of women.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Was made up our intro for our podcast on the
- 4:28Speaker 2: day we started, and it hasn't changed since. And there's
- 4:31Speaker 2: some some days scripted. Yeah, there's some days because nick
- 4:35Speaker 2: starts like he's the.
- 4:36Speaker 1: First speaker and she the same person every single.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Time every time. And when our producer goes, got us
- 4:43Speaker 3: to do it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: For you, y, did you do it? You didn't do it.
- 4:46Speaker 1: We didn't get to see it.
- 4:46Speaker 6: A oh yeah after cheers made so happy Hour of
- 4:49Speaker 6: Lucy and Nicky the real life ship you only discuss
- 4:51Speaker 6: over a drink. But before we start a little disclaimer,
- 4:54Speaker 6: So today we are here.
- 4:55Speaker 2: For blah blah blah, and that's when we like intro
- 4:57Speaker 2: on the time time.
- 4:58Speaker 3: I'm slowly losing my voice, by the way.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Paul, so fine, that's funny when you did that in
- 5:03Speaker 1: front of us.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Leading up to this, I probably listened to like four
- 5:06Speaker 5: or five episodes of yours and you do do that
- 5:08Speaker 5: every single.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And people think it's pre recorded, but it's the same.
- 5:11Speaker 6: It's I thought, we do it every time.
- 5:14Speaker 1: You go the same tone. That's good.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Sometimes I have to say, Nicky, more energy.
- 5:19Speaker 6: We would have done like six episodes and I'd be
- 5:21Speaker 6: like happy and the producers like.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Say it like you mean it.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We didn't have an intro for quite a while.
- 5:30Speaker 5: We I don't really remember how we used to start it,
- 5:32Speaker 5: and then we someone reached out to us and was
- 5:35Speaker 5: sort of, I don't know, trying to just give us
- 5:38Speaker 5: some advice, and they were like, one thing you should
- 5:41Speaker 5: definitely do is create an intro that you do the
- 5:43Speaker 5: same thing every single time. And I mean, we just
- 5:46Speaker 5: thought of one and it's dark. Yeah, but I don't
- 5:50Speaker 5: know if it would have helped on. Sometimes I feel
- 5:52Speaker 5: like you can't there's no real like rule book to see.
- 5:54Speaker 3: We started like when we did.
- 5:56Speaker 2: The branding for our podcast, it was like, very well,
- 6:00Speaker 2: it came very naturally, like we just like thought of
- 6:03Speaker 2: those kinds of things, and like all of our taglines
- 6:06Speaker 2: and even like our logo, we got like a logo
- 6:08Speaker 2: drawn by our housemaid at the time, she's a graphic designer.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And now it's like so heavily ingrained in the brand
- 6:17Speaker 2: that is our podcast. Like when we do live shows,
- 6:19Speaker 2: the whole audience chance what Nikki just said, the word
- 6:24Speaker 2: it's a longer version and like they like chanted, So
- 6:28Speaker 2: it's kind of funny. It's like, while as unimportant as
- 6:30Speaker 2: those things can be, they actually become really important.
- 6:33Speaker 1: So it does become We've done something. I bet you
- 6:36Speaker 1: people would be able to be thinking about it.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Do it. Yeah, you probably think you do live shows,
- 6:41Speaker 4: you need to do it.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I've never done Lifebreaker. I'm terrified.
- 6:46Speaker 6: The first time we did it and we out, we
- 6:49Speaker 6: were like, all right, let's see if does anyone know the.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Intro and we were like, what, it's pretty crazy. Live
- 6:55Speaker 2: shows are the most rewarding part of having a podcast
- 6:58Speaker 2: in my opinion. Everyone's like everyone likes different things, but
- 7:01Speaker 2: for men.
- 7:01Speaker 6: It's numbers on a screen is like so awesome, but
- 7:05Speaker 6: you don't really understand the full effect.
- 7:07Speaker 3: So you see it like in person, that's so true.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Like you don't think about I don't know.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Even there's different posts of seen people putting things in
- 7:14Speaker 5: perspective of like this is what one hundred people looks like,
- 7:16Speaker 5: this is what looks like, this is what ten thousand
- 7:18Speaker 5: looks like like. Even people at the World Cup. I
- 7:21Speaker 5: see videos of there's like a stadium filled with a
- 7:23Speaker 5: one hundred thousand people and someone's like, I can't understand
- 7:26Speaker 5: how I have more followers on Instagram than the stadium is, right, and.
- 7:29Speaker 1: They have like, I don't know, five hundred thousand. It's
- 7:31Speaker 1: a lot. Yeah, it's a lot of people. It's crazy. Hey,
- 7:35Speaker 1: but we have you here for a reason.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Talk to me.
- 7:39Speaker 5: We asked our we asked our listeners to send us
- 7:44Speaker 5: things men do, actions, actions men do, and we were
- 7:49Speaker 5: gonna let them know if they're a nice guy of boy.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Oh, well, you've got the police here today.
- 7:55Speaker 1: We thought, we thought people in general police episode name
- 8:04Speaker 1: that the police. You go, okay, so nice guy or
- 8:08Speaker 1: fuck boy? Planning for the future on the first date.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Okay, fuck boy, fu boy, love love Ye.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Occasionally if you are a love BMMA, you are a one.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Avoidant insecure attachment style, which means you have narcissistic tendencies.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Okay, thinking about things like I'll like start talking to
- 8:34Speaker 2: a boy and maybe we haven't even gone on a
- 8:36Speaker 2: date yet, and in my mind like natural human psyche,
- 8:40Speaker 2: like I'll be like, oh, imagining like when we start dating,
- 8:43Speaker 2: we're gonna have to do this.
- 8:44Speaker 3: This whatever.
- 8:46Speaker 2: You just don't say it, like it would be like
- 8:49Speaker 2: meeting a friend on your on a first like you know,
- 8:53Speaker 2: meeting someone like a girl at an event for me
- 8:56Speaker 2: and then being like, by the end of the event,
- 8:58Speaker 2: you're my best friend.
- 8:59Speaker 3: It's it's fucking weird. Keep it to yourself.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Think about things, but don't future make future plans.
- 9:06Speaker 3: It can be dependent on the delivery as well.
- 9:08Speaker 6: So like say, for example, if you have been dating
- 9:10Speaker 6: for a long time, you go with a girl and
- 9:12Speaker 6: you ask her, like, what are you looking for? Because
- 9:14Speaker 6: my ultimate goal is to like have a family and stuff,
- 9:17Speaker 6: then I think there's stuff for that too. That's talking
- 9:20Speaker 6: about your goals, that's not saying so when we go
- 9:22Speaker 6: to Thailand in three months on holiday. Also when we
- 9:26Speaker 6: buy French bulldogship, not the matching friendship. You know, so
- 9:34Speaker 6: I think it's like, yeah, I think as someone who's
- 9:37Speaker 6: had someone like multiple people do things like that, even
- 9:41Speaker 6: not even on a first date. I'm talking like, you know,
- 9:44Speaker 6: still early on, but further in than a first day.
- 9:47Speaker 6: I have had moments where I have it's been like
- 9:50Speaker 6: a that's a bit of a red flag.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Valid, Valid, all right, you guys, readers.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Readers, readers, audio.
- 10:01Speaker 5: So nice guy boy he reads smutty books.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Loser, everyone loves smart. I'm part of the problem is
- 10:10Speaker 6: smart taking care over the world.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Known to have a wank. Don't read a fairy porn
- 10:17Speaker 2: that's so weird.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Sorry, part of the problem. Part of the problem. Game
- 10:24Speaker 3: of Thrones, that's not smarty, but hookups.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I know if you guys, no problem, it's not. My
- 10:35Speaker 2: eye wouldn't be I would find out strange.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I don't think that that's a deal breakup. I just
- 10:40Speaker 3: think a nice guy.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Have you heard that men are learning like how to
- 10:46Speaker 1: please their partners from books though, like in the bedroom? No, yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 1: because they're written by women and then they're saying what
- 10:52Speaker 1: they want and rather than having a ship session, men
- 10:55Speaker 1: are reading books and this is actually women want and
- 10:57Speaker 1: learning from it.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, read smut, get into the smart.
- 11:04Speaker 1: All right, Nice guy or fuck boy sending songs to
- 11:08Speaker 1: listen to.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Nice Guy, I think that's nice, but like house bangers,
- 11:16Speaker 2: not like acoustic ballads.
- 11:18Speaker 1: No way.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I love sharing.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Anything with anyone, to be honest, Listen to this new song,
- 11:25Speaker 6: look at this recipe, look at it like I love that.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Ship into common interest me. The other day, we've just
- 11:32Speaker 3: been chatting with people.
- 11:33Speaker 2: He I was like going to be I hadn't slept
- 11:35Speaker 2: and I had this huge job the next day and
- 11:37Speaker 2: I just couldn't sleep and I was going in like
- 11:40Speaker 2: a bit hungover, sleep deprived, like like low KEI wigging
- 11:45Speaker 2: out a bit, and he was like, sent me in
- 11:48Speaker 2: the morning. When I woke up, He's like, listen to
- 11:50Speaker 2: this song. It's the best hangover cure. And it was
- 11:51Speaker 2: like this really like upbeat up like upbeat, but like
- 11:57Speaker 2: nice song. And I was like, oh, that's really nice.
- 12:00Speaker 2: But if he had sent me like you and mayor, yeah, yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 2: I would have been like pretty, but.
- 12:06Speaker 3: It was like it was a hangover cure.
- 12:08Speaker 2: It was like one of those songs that's like, well,
- 12:09Speaker 2: I can feel the serotonin like coming into my body.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what being serenaded. Has it ever happened to
- 12:15Speaker 1: either you've kind of been brought home and they've got
- 12:17Speaker 1: a guitar or something.
- 12:18Speaker 6: I had a song written for me, really however, it
- 12:21Speaker 6: again by her boyfriend though, oh yeah, but he was
- 12:24Speaker 6: courting me at this point we were together, Okay, I
- 12:27Speaker 6: was it that yeah, baby, it was early.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he just it was so sweet.
- 12:33Speaker 6: He was a really nice guy. Jolly is the word
- 12:35Speaker 6: I would use to describe him. And he had he
- 12:38Speaker 6: wrote this song and he lives and recorded it and
- 12:40Speaker 6: sent it to me, and.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I was like, oh, and he definitely wasn't a fuck boy.
- 12:44Speaker 6: No, so nice, and he actually was. It was good
- 12:47Speaker 6: at guitar, and it was a pretty good thing, so
- 12:49Speaker 6: I was like, fuck, whatever, it's.
- 12:50Speaker 3: So dependent too, right, Like it's like a bad The
- 12:52Speaker 3: lyrics were girl you make My Head twelve.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Lyrics, but the melody was quite catchy. We went together
- 13:07Speaker 3: then for a very long time, so.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It obviously worked. I think it's all about choosing your audience.
- 13:12Speaker 6: It's all timing, right, Like I was already pretty like
- 13:15Speaker 6: I liked him, Yeah, Like, howd I not liked him?
- 13:18Speaker 6: That probably could have been deterring, but like I liked him,
- 13:20Speaker 6: so it's like that whole thing, like can you get
- 13:22Speaker 6: the ig from someone you love?
- 13:24Speaker 5: Yeh, that's a very good point. Okay, introduces you to
- 13:26Speaker 5: his friends quickly, I can play.
- 13:30Speaker 2: On Yeah, I think, I think again, it all depends,
- 13:34Speaker 2: like I, how many times have you come on my
- 13:37Speaker 2: first dates with me?
- 13:38Speaker 1: First dates?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Well, like it'll just be like because she's that bored
- 13:42Speaker 2: on them, She's like it's happened so many times.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Maybe I'm part of the problem.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But it's like, oh, you know, like we'll be out,
- 13:49Speaker 2: I'll be on a date and then all my friends
- 13:50Speaker 2: will be out and I'll be like, do we want
- 13:52Speaker 2: to go and meet up with It's not like come
- 13:55Speaker 2: and meets my friends.
- 13:57Speaker 6: It's I will say, though, like oh here we go. No,
- 14:00Speaker 6: It's like one of those things. It's kind of like
- 14:02Speaker 6: maybe depends what you're exposed to. It's like sometimes I
- 14:06Speaker 6: would think that would be a really big deal. Yeah
- 14:09Speaker 6: you know, and to be like, oh my god, Like
- 14:11Speaker 6: I don't get it he introduced me to his friends,
- 14:13Speaker 6: Like how can he just like ghost me if he
- 14:14Speaker 6: introduced me to his friends. But then like on the
- 14:17Speaker 6: other hand, when you kind of like in your situation
- 14:19Speaker 6: when you've been out on a date, people are out,
- 14:21Speaker 6: you go all meet up.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Sometimes it's just not that deep.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 1: No, no, I think it's almost a good sign that
- 14:25Speaker 1: you're like, yeah, you can come along.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, like otherwise doesn't like either, Yeah, I think it. Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 2: it just depends on the nature of it. Like I
- 14:34Speaker 2: remember when I started dating a boy like I do.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Remember in one instance, he was like, I'd really like
- 14:40Speaker 2: for you to come down to the surf club to
- 14:43Speaker 2: meet my friends. And that was kind of more of
- 14:45Speaker 2: a like meet the friends moment. Yeah, like you know,
- 14:49Speaker 2: because it was all kind of going out, like because
- 14:51Speaker 2: I was like I don't want to. It was a
- 14:52Speaker 2: Sunday night. I was like day of Sabbath. I don't
- 14:54Speaker 2: can't be fucked. And he's like, no, this actually means
- 14:57Speaker 2: something to me, like I want you to come and meet.
- 14:58Speaker 3: My friends, Whereas like I would so easily bring.
- 15:03Speaker 2: A dude that I was on like my second or
- 15:05Speaker 2: third specialty. Yeah, because I like my friends a lot.
- 15:09Speaker 6: I mean fair, you probably want to have bought to
- 15:11Speaker 6: that intimate forties, have a spear seed.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I've got a plus one coming I'd end up being
- 15:19Speaker 2: my boyfriend kind of like I saw him for a while,
- 15:21Speaker 2: but like that was pretty I am, yeah, it's just some.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, a nice guy. Then we'll take a nice guy.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I also do think, Okay, let me ask you this.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Do you not think I sometimes think when you're starting
- 15:34Speaker 2: to date someone, like early stages, if you're just going
- 15:37Speaker 2: on dates, dates, dates, date states that are just you
- 15:39Speaker 2: and him, Like, whilst it's a good way to get
- 15:42Speaker 2: to know someone, like, I'm like, oh man, I need
- 15:45Speaker 2: a bit of fucking alleviated pressure from this scenario. Like
- 15:48Speaker 2: I just want you to come out and meet my
- 15:50Speaker 2: friends when we're all out drinking, so there's multiple people
- 15:52Speaker 2: there to talk to. Otherwise it's like date, date, date,
- 15:56Speaker 2: it's so much emotional, Like it's just it's stressful.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I can understand that.
- 16:01Speaker 5: So when you first start seeing someone, initially you are
- 16:06Speaker 5: like you want to impress them, like you're being yourself,
- 16:08Speaker 5: but you're kind of being like a version of yourself
- 16:10Speaker 5: and like, but with every person you know, you have
- 16:13Speaker 5: like a kind of a different version of yourself anyway,
- 16:15Speaker 5: So if they see you with your friends, is that
- 16:17Speaker 5: good to like see men in their natural habitat too,
- 16:20Speaker 5: because on a date they could be putting up a
- 16:21Speaker 5: false pretense of who they are.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Then you see, they might meet.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Their friends and be like, yeah, these guys are lemons.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Yeah, for sure.
- 16:29Speaker 2: If you meet someone's friends and they're like a group
- 16:33Speaker 2: of lads that are like super yucky about women and
- 16:37Speaker 2: stuff like that, then that's a short fire signed to
- 16:39Speaker 2: probably get out of there.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But if you meet their friends and they're all legends
- 16:43Speaker 2: and it's it is attractive set of a vetting process, Yeah.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Probably a good thing. Actually, all right, this is my
- 16:48Speaker 1: last one. So nice guy or fuck boy having after
- 16:50Speaker 1: care after doing the deed?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah, one. I'm trying to get wrap my head around
- 16:55Speaker 2: the aftercare.
- 16:56Speaker 5: I think it's just like we've been getting a lot
- 16:58Speaker 5: of like for our at least from our audience. The
- 17:01Speaker 5: things that they like is that they like it when
- 17:04Speaker 5: someone's got good after care.
- 17:06Speaker 3: What is after like cuddling?
- 17:09Speaker 1: How was the session? The boy asked me?
- 17:13Speaker 3: How you enjoy that?
- 17:16Speaker 5: Actually have a fucking meltdown, pregame, locker room chat about
- 17:19Speaker 5: it type of things.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I think.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Feedback survey For me, it's I can improve.
- 17:29Speaker 1: There's an assumption that's the next time.
- 17:31Speaker 2: So for me, if I say good after care would
- 17:35Speaker 2: be I don't want to talk about the sex. I like,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I would like if you like would be like, oh,
- 17:46Speaker 2: by the way, there's a box of tooth new toothbrushers
- 17:50Speaker 2: in there if you want to brush your teeth, like
- 17:52Speaker 2: if you're going to sleep over, Like.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you went into someone he's a tower.
- 17:57Speaker 3: They just said mountains and tooth.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Brushure would you be?
- 18:02Speaker 2: But I do think the like I have a packet
- 18:05Speaker 2: of toothbrushes, like for when my girlfriend's too many wines
- 18:08Speaker 2: and sleepover, Like it's not.
- 18:09Speaker 6: That deep thinking one of our friends who literally has
- 18:12Speaker 6: like that many kids, Yeah yeah, oh yeah baby, but
- 18:16Speaker 6: he is a player.
- 18:17Speaker 3: He's entertaining.
- 18:18Speaker 2: But I think the thing is, it's like I would
- 18:20Speaker 2: if someone was like and like boys, I know that
- 18:22Speaker 2: you guys are really nice, like deep thinking boys, but
- 18:25Speaker 2: like I do not want to talk about sex with
- 18:30Speaker 2: someone unless they're my boyfriend. But like if I've just
- 18:33Speaker 2: like gone on a first or second date and like
- 18:35Speaker 2: you go home with someone and they're like, tell me
- 18:38Speaker 2: how is my performance? I would just be cringing so
- 18:42Speaker 2: hard and just I'd start laughing. I can't have that
- 18:45Speaker 2: conversation straight face.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe if the sex got a bit like risky,
- 18:49Speaker 3: Like was it okay that I choked you?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:53Speaker 1: That maybe.
- 18:58Speaker 6: Just choking up.
- 19:03Speaker 2: In times of after care, like I would be rattled
- 19:07Speaker 2: if I slept with someone and then we didn't cuddle laughter,
- 19:11Speaker 2: if we didn't cut all, I would be really rattled,
- 19:13Speaker 2: Like if we didn't have a sleepover, I would be like.
- 19:15Speaker 3: What, I think you need to keep the intimacy on
- 19:21Speaker 3: intimate like providing.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Love.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Like I recently had this interaction with a boy and
- 19:31Speaker 2: I don't even think I think it's just one of
- 19:32Speaker 2: his like personal things that he does, but it is
- 19:36Speaker 2: really nice, like and I've noticed this because I've seen
- 19:38Speaker 2: him a few times. Every single time I spend time
- 19:41Speaker 2: with him or even like we have a phone call
- 19:44Speaker 2: or anything, he always says like something really nice, Like
- 19:47Speaker 2: every time we see each other and we're like not
- 19:49Speaker 2: going to date, but he'll always be like, I really
- 19:53Speaker 2: like spending time with you, Lucy, and like something like
- 19:56Speaker 2: that is just so simple or like or like you'll
- 19:59Speaker 2: get off the phone into each other and he will
- 20:01Speaker 2: like message me and be like I just feel so
- 20:02Speaker 2: good after we have a phone call yeah, and I'm
- 20:05Speaker 2: like every time like that might be like a small
- 20:08Speaker 2: form of after care that I'm like, wow, I genuinely
- 20:10Speaker 2: feel nice verbal follow up yeah, And I think it's
- 20:13Speaker 2: just like he's got a lot of flaws, this guy,
- 20:16Speaker 2: but that is one thing that he does really, really
- 20:18Speaker 2: really well. And I don't even know if it's intentional
- 20:21Speaker 2: or if he's just been raised with that certain kind
- 20:24Speaker 2: of thing that he does, but it's like it's like
- 20:26Speaker 2: a thing of his and I'm like, oh, wow, that's
- 20:28Speaker 2: a really nice, subtle after care, like I had a
- 20:32Speaker 2: really nice time with you, and like that's I think
- 20:35Speaker 2: that's a really nice thing. Especially as a woman, I
- 20:40Speaker 2: would feel nervous to say this is again probably the patriarchy,
- 20:44Speaker 2: but I'd feel nervous to say that to some guys
- 20:47Speaker 2: after sleeping with them, because I wouldn't want them to think,
- 20:49Speaker 2: fuck now, she's going to think what they would get married.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But from a guy's perspective, and like I'm a pretty
- 20:56Speaker 2: tough like I'm a pretty rough and tumble girl, I
- 20:59Speaker 2: certainly don't want to be asked the hell was the sex?
- 21:01Speaker 2: But for a guy to say to me, well, I
- 21:03Speaker 2: had such a nice time with you last night, Lucy.
- 21:05Speaker 2: That to me, it doesn't have to mean that we're
- 21:09Speaker 2: going to get married, but it still leaves me feeling
- 21:11Speaker 2: really nice. Yeah, it's a bit of a note for
- 21:14Speaker 2: the lads listening.
- 21:15Speaker 1: That is good aftercare compliment. Yeah, that's funny, like.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Saying something like I really like spending time with you.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It's like, not like I loved fucking you last.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Night was incredible.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Yeah, simple as like I had so much fun with
- 21:32Speaker 2: you last night.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Like simple, simple, be nice as simple as that. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: that was really good. I actually wanted to ask, just
- 21:39Speaker 1: like on the topic of I guess sex.
- 21:42Speaker 5: I saw a video you made a while ago, asking like,
- 21:45Speaker 5: what percentage of people have you would you sleep?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah, my TikTok, And I was wondering what was
- 21:52Speaker 1: the was both men and women answering.
- 21:55Speaker 3: No, I just mainly go.
- 21:56Speaker 2: And the reason why I asked that was because I,
- 21:58Speaker 2: for the first time ever, actually wrote it my notes
- 22:00Speaker 2: app everyone i've slept with, I've never done it before.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Well.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I had a boyfriend for.
- 22:04Speaker 2: A long time and then I became single, like maybe
- 22:07Speaker 2: four or five years ago, and I have never like
- 22:10Speaker 2: sat down and actually like thought about it. Yeah, and
- 22:15Speaker 2: so I randomly did that one day in Bali with
- 22:17Speaker 2: one of our best friends. And then I was looking
- 22:20Speaker 2: through the list and it got me thinking, like, I wonder,
- 22:22Speaker 2: out of these people, how many I would sleep with again?
- 22:25Speaker 3: And then I just went on TikTok and asked the
- 22:27Speaker 3: world the same question. What was your percentage? Mike's pretty high?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Overall consensus, most people were like none, maybe one maybe,
- 22:38Speaker 2: like the majority was like a small amount.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Yeah, but all men would be like all of them.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I feel like men would like, yeah, all of them.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I think that's the thing too, Like, say for me,
- 22:51Speaker 2: for example, not that I'm there like putting a huge
- 22:54Speaker 2: amount of thought into someone before I sleep with them,
- 22:56Speaker 2: especially if it's just like a really casual thing, but
- 22:59Speaker 2: I am pretty like I'm pretty selective, So that means
- 23:02Speaker 2: I'm going to have a higher chance of people I
- 23:04Speaker 2: would sleep with again because I like to think that
- 23:07Speaker 2: I don't make bad decisions all the time. Ye Whereas
- 23:10Speaker 2: when all the girls were commenting and they were like zero,
- 23:13Speaker 2: I was like, Wow, how many flops have you shagged?
- 23:16Speaker 6: Yeah? Up, like if things end, they don't always end
- 23:20Speaker 6: positively to which can make you.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Well, that was.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yeah, of course that was the majority of the ones
- 23:26Speaker 2: that I wouldn't have slept with was like bad boyfriends.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Or okayie, I have got some exciting news.
- 23:40Speaker 5: Oh yeah, well the bad is no where. March of
- 23:43Speaker 5: Babes that we are. I've recently upgraded my game. I've
- 23:46Speaker 5: graduated to the perfect head ceremonial grade March of powder
- 23:50Speaker 5: love that.
- 23:51Speaker 1: What flavors are there?
- 23:52Speaker 5: Well, there's the original, which is perfect if you're an
- 23:55Speaker 5: og marcher lover, or if you like to add your
- 23:57Speaker 5: own flavors.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I am at this level. Now whoa to baddie?
- 24:02Speaker 5: And there's the strawberry and vanilla, which already have the
- 24:06Speaker 5: flavors perfectly mixed in.
- 24:07Speaker 1: That's sick. So you could basically be your own barista
- 24:09Speaker 1: at home. Exactly. It tastes like it came from a cafe.
- 24:14Speaker 4: You've got to try it, bro, I want to, but
- 24:16Speaker 4: where can I grab it?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Same as always, baby up next to this time for dilemmas.
- 24:27Speaker 1: You do advice with the queens. We just do dilemmas perfect. Yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 1: we should think of a name. That's cool. Do you reckinon?
- 24:32Speaker 1: We could come up a name now.
- 24:34Speaker 3: I've already called the dilemma is.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Is it like essentially like asking for tips exactly.
- 24:43Speaker 1: People just send in a dilemma. They haven't. I listened
- 24:45Speaker 1: to it, like you call yours.
- 24:47Speaker 2: If you wanted to take something from us, you could
- 24:49Speaker 2: call it a boy's perspective, really like dilemmas.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Dilemma.
- 24:55Speaker 1: We came up organically on the pod just for some reason,
- 24:58Speaker 1: was having like a massive rut, and every week I
- 25:00Speaker 1: was coming with like a weekly dilemma, and then the
- 25:02Speaker 1: bat he started sending in their own dilemmas. I'm not alone.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Let's call it, yeah, dilemmas from the baddies line.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Okay, so here we go. Me, twenty one year old female,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and my fiance, twenty year old male, have been together
- 25:13Speaker 1: for about a year and we are getting married in
- 25:15Speaker 1: two days.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Shit young early.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I am over the moon and excited, but I'm may
- 25:21Speaker 1: be a bit fed up. We've always had an open
- 25:23Speaker 1: phone policy and rarely go through each other's phones, and
- 25:26Speaker 1: I've never had an issue with that. We have been
- 25:28Speaker 1: living together for six months and everything is perfect. We
- 25:31Speaker 1: have our ups and downs, but always come together in
- 25:34Speaker 1: the end and talk about it. Until now. He has
- 25:37Speaker 1: logged into his Gmail on my phone and I got
- 25:40Speaker 1: a message earlier today with a logging code from chat GBT.
- 25:44Speaker 1: We have had many discussions and I am anti chat
- 25:46Speaker 1: because of the environmental effects, and he said he couldn't
- 25:50Speaker 1: use it again. He said he wasn't going to use
- 25:52Speaker 1: it again about a month or so ago. So when
- 25:55Speaker 1: he was asleep, I went through his chat prompts and
- 25:57Speaker 1: discovered that he had asked questions from when we first
- 26:00Speaker 1: started talking all the way to what ring he should
- 26:03Speaker 1: get me. He has written anniversary cards with it, and
- 26:07Speaker 1: other message responses are along along the way, and how
- 26:10Speaker 1: best to reply to me. I am deeply hurt because
- 26:13Speaker 1: I asked him early on is if he's ever used
- 26:15Speaker 1: chat GBT in our relationship, and he lied and said no. Also,
- 26:19Speaker 1: there were requests about relationships slash talking to girls before
- 26:22Speaker 1: we even started talking, and he said, I am the
- 26:25Speaker 1: first girl he's ever talked to or dated in a
- 26:27Speaker 1: couple of years because he's in the military. I will
- 26:30Speaker 1: take all advice. I have immense trust and commitment issues,
- 26:33Speaker 1: So I'm now dating the whole relationship. What should I do?
- 26:36Speaker 3: There's so many layers to this. Yeah, let's unpack.
- 26:40Speaker 1: So is that the chat thing?
- 26:43Speaker 3: Firstly?
- 26:44Speaker 2: I I don't think you can tell your partner that
- 26:49Speaker 2: they can't have chat, GPT.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Chat.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I just don't think that.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I think that that's it's similar to what we were
- 26:57Speaker 2: discussing earlier in our podcast with you guys. It's like
- 27:01Speaker 2: saying I don't want you to watch porn to someone,
- 27:04Speaker 2: and it's like it's on the grand scheme of life,
- 27:09Speaker 2: someone having chatchipt. It's you can't really tell someone you
- 27:12Speaker 2: can't have chatchipt.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I think it comes it comes with maturity.
- 27:16Speaker 6: I think like sometimes to be in a couple, you
- 27:19Speaker 6: need to remember like it's two individual people come together,
- 27:25Speaker 6: your boundaries, your issues, like everything, believe valid. That doesn't
- 27:30Speaker 6: mean that every single person that comes into your circle
- 27:33Speaker 6: has to do the exact same iss you, especially when
- 27:36Speaker 6: you're not fucking hurting anyone.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Well that's what I mean.
- 27:38Speaker 2: It's like, so this is just about him having chat,
- 27:41Speaker 2: This isn't about the this is just about chat because
- 27:45Speaker 2: this is so like I do, so, I do think
- 27:49Speaker 2: it's kind of I think that sometimes in this lifetime,
- 27:54Speaker 2: if you go in to dating someone with a really
- 27:58Speaker 2: strict boundary of your own, that maybe isn't like ethically incorrect.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Like I personally don't think it's ethically incorrect for people
- 28:10Speaker 2: to watch porn. I watch porn. I don't think there's
- 28:12Speaker 2: anything like I obviously there's levels of porn, but like,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I have no ethical issue with that. Therefore, I would
- 28:19Speaker 2: have no ethical issue with a boyfriend watching porn. If
- 28:22Speaker 2: I did, I would just go and find a boyfriend
- 28:25Speaker 2: that didn't watch porn, or I would be like, listen,
- 28:28Speaker 2: maybe I'm just gonna have to get over that. I
- 28:30Speaker 2: don't think there's any issue with him having chatchipity and
- 28:33Speaker 2: the fact that he felt like he had to lie
- 28:35Speaker 2: about it. He shouldn't have lied, but you obviously made
- 28:39Speaker 2: it like abundantly clear that you had no you were
- 28:42Speaker 2: not okay with chatchipity. But then so that's where I think,
- 28:48Speaker 2: maybe not you're at fault, But I think it's like
- 28:50Speaker 2: a pretty high standard to set up your partner. Every
- 28:53Speaker 2: person in the world that I know has chatchipite. Secondly
- 28:57Speaker 2: to that, though, I do think it is firstly bad
- 29:04Speaker 2: that he's like lied about it to you, about like
- 29:07Speaker 2: your conversation, like about your like anniversary cards and stuff.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I can tell what I can see why he lied
- 29:12Speaker 2: about it, because he obviously is scared that it's going
- 29:14Speaker 2: to piss.
- 29:14Speaker 1: You off, but it's to be pissed off about, Like
- 29:19Speaker 1: he didn't put any effort into it.
- 29:20Speaker 6: I was going to say, it's interesting that, like knowing
- 29:22Speaker 6: that she's so against it, that he would then go
- 29:25Speaker 6: and use it to.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Write, well, it doesn't care. It's like they're both like.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Running at complete extremes. Yeah, which makes me think maybe
- 29:33Speaker 6: they're not a very well suited couple.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Well then, even like layer number three, the fact that
- 29:38Speaker 2: you went through his emails is a whole nother thing,
- 29:43Speaker 2: like I think it's okay. Well I don't think it's okay,
- 29:47Speaker 2: but I think there are moments in relationships where it
- 29:50Speaker 2: is play on to go through their phone if you
- 29:54Speaker 2: have like this deep suspicionating fire, but you probably knew
- 30:00Speaker 2: he was using chat, which is why you needed to
- 30:02Speaker 2: have that confirmation. Myself, if I had a boyfriend and
- 30:05Speaker 2: he went through my phone to see my chat ChiPT prompts,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I would be and like, there's nothing in my chat chipet.
- 30:12Speaker 3: That's a value invasion of your pride.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I would be livid. I'd be like, get you're dumb,
- 30:16Speaker 2: I dump them. I'd be like, and you know what
- 30:18Speaker 2: I'm dumping you, y, I would.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Break up nicer, Like, I mean, we we use like
- 30:37Speaker 5: chatchiby t as well for a lot of things in
- 30:39Speaker 5: just for the podcast.
- 30:40Speaker 3: And I can issues different.
- 30:42Speaker 5: I can understand the concern of the environmental issue, and
- 30:44Speaker 5: it is like I mean full transparency. I just like
- 30:48Speaker 5: turn a blind eye to it, like I really do.
- 30:50Speaker 5: And we just convince ourselves that we're a small team
- 30:52Speaker 5: and and it just helps us so much that it
- 30:54Speaker 5: makes it worth it. But if you as a person
- 30:56Speaker 5: are very very against it, it's like I remember on
- 31:00Speaker 5: your Guys' podcast, if you have this standard, it's like, yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 5: you know, just stand on it or don't stand on it.
- 31:05Speaker 5: It's like like you were just saying that then, like
- 31:06Speaker 5: if you didn't want your boyfriend to watch porn and
- 31:08Speaker 5: they did, you would either dump them or you would
- 31:10Speaker 5: get over it.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Like you need to choose something.
- 31:12Speaker 5: Yes, So it's like if you're about to get married
- 31:14Speaker 5: and you are that against chatgypt, that is totally all right.
- 31:17Speaker 5: But like if you're fed up, you're fed up, you
- 31:20Speaker 5: can you can end.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah, And like the.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Bloke obviously loves his chagy.
- 31:23Speaker 1: He clearly loves chat like like just use Google, like well, yeah,
- 31:29Speaker 1: and Google bab Google Google literally has an AI built
- 31:32Speaker 1: into it, Like just use that.
- 31:34Speaker 2: I just think as well though, Like like Nick, I
- 31:36Speaker 2: think about a good point before about like when you
- 31:39Speaker 2: are two individuals that come together. It's like if you
- 31:42Speaker 2: meet someone, he's a good one. If you are a
- 31:46Speaker 2: vegan and you meet someone who isn't a vegan and
- 31:49Speaker 2: you fall in.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Love, but you are with that because you're like, but
- 31:54Speaker 3: you're just so hell.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Bent on veganism. You stand so firmly in those beliefs
- 32:00Speaker 2: where like, yes, they might be your beliefs and you
- 32:03Speaker 2: might really strongly believe them, but like, societally, it's not
- 32:07Speaker 2: deemed as like bad to eat meat.
- 32:10Speaker 4: So if you then go.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Into this relationship with someone that eats meat and you're like,
- 32:16Speaker 2: either you become a vegan or I'm gonna be pissed off.
- 32:21Speaker 3: They're gonna eat Barbie, They're at Bunnings every Saturday.
- 32:30Speaker 2: There's no It's like you're essentially like enforcing a belief
- 32:34Speaker 2: that maybe they don't align with on them and like yes,
- 32:37Speaker 2: things like don't cheat, that's a societal norm. I think
- 32:42Speaker 2: it also comes down to the person the other person
- 32:46Speaker 2: in the relationship to have the balls to stand up
- 32:48Speaker 2: for what they also want to do. Yeah, I do
- 32:52Speaker 2: agree with your environmental issues, as data centers are using
- 32:55Speaker 2: a lot of order to make this happen. However, I
- 32:58Speaker 2: find that I use chat cheep is he really regular
- 33:00Speaker 2: and I don't want to make your promise that I
- 33:01Speaker 2: can't keep, do you know what I mean?
- 33:04Speaker 1: But now using it for like the valves, how do
- 33:08Speaker 1: you feel.
- 33:08Speaker 6: If my partner, don't you fucking dare put that in
- 33:11Speaker 6: tragy because that was one thing.
- 33:14Speaker 2: I don't even know cha BT was around when you
- 33:16Speaker 2: got married. Yeah, babe, I was a late bloomer to
- 33:19Speaker 2: chat now child, I date chat, actually chat with my boyfriend.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Chat.
- 33:28Speaker 6: And I did say that to him because I was like,
- 33:30Speaker 6: that's something that I could see you doing because you
- 33:33Speaker 6: use it regularly and you know exactly.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Actually write it.
- 33:35Speaker 6: Always writes beautiful cards. I can barely see the Murry's
- 33:38Speaker 6: handwriting so fried. But I'm like, just so you know,
- 33:42Speaker 6: I really don't want that to come from Chat, and
- 33:44Speaker 6: he's like.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Yeah, play on. Oh, I think it's like okay.
- 33:47Speaker 2: As someone that loves chatchibt. The only thing I've ever
- 33:51Speaker 2: gotten Chat to write for me once was to make
- 33:53Speaker 2: a work related email more professional. Yeah, but like I like, say,
- 33:58Speaker 2: for example, if I'm talking to boy and I'm confused
- 34:01Speaker 2: by what he's saying, like old screenshot that put it
- 34:04Speaker 2: into Chat and be like, oh, help me, like understand
- 34:06Speaker 2: what's going on here. I wouldn't then get Chat to
- 34:09Speaker 2: write the response. I would write it.
- 34:12Speaker 6: But that's just that's my own That would be so
- 34:14Speaker 6: creepy if you found out the guy that was like
- 34:16Speaker 6: courting you was like.
- 34:22Speaker 3: But then again, Chat can also start to really understand you.
- 34:25Speaker 1: If you're.
- 34:27Speaker 2: My chap is making me pissing myself laughing, I literally
- 34:31Speaker 2: go Chat, You're so funny, Like Chad's.
- 34:35Speaker 3: Like my best team.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Again. I just think it's like, I don't know. I
- 34:44Speaker 2: think you just when you go into a relationship with someone,
- 34:47Speaker 2: you just have to be okay with the fact that
- 34:50Speaker 2: there are going to be things about the way.
- 34:54Speaker 3: I think that comes with maturity as well.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Yeah, being like confident in your decisions and like respecting
- 34:58Speaker 6: other people have different opinions and still being able to
- 35:00Speaker 6: like stand your.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Ground and they have that boundary.
- 35:03Speaker 6: If that's absolutely not happening for you, don't be fucking
- 35:07Speaker 6: PI going through his thing to see that he's been like, hey, Chat,
- 35:10Speaker 6: how do I make Mazaka like yeah?
- 35:12Speaker 2: Or Bassard Yeah, I don't know. I think there's a
- 35:15Speaker 2: real magic in being really honest with yourself at the
- 35:21Speaker 2: beginning of a relationship.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Where you and it's about knowing yourself as well.
- 35:28Speaker 2: And if having a boyfriend that uses Chat GPT is
- 35:33Speaker 2: a absolute no deal, good luck finding a man because
- 35:38Speaker 2: everyone uses it. But that's your prerogative, though I don't
- 35:41Speaker 2: think you can push those beliefs onto other people.
- 35:44Speaker 6: I agree, yeah, or he should just not be lying
- 35:46Speaker 6: and saying yeah, maybe no worries if he's actually that regular.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so neither of them, neither of them.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Lot of miscommunication.
- 35:53Speaker 2: And also, don't get married at twenty one. You way
- 35:55Speaker 2: too young and you've only lived together for six months
- 35:57Speaker 2: aage first issue. But yeah, it wasn't going to be
- 35:59Speaker 2: a judgmental Look it is, Yah.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Said, we're twenty one young.
- 36:06Speaker 1: That is, it is exactly, But I mean each to
- 36:08Speaker 1: their own.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Yeah, when you're.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Twenty one, you done think think silly things like I
- 36:14Speaker 2: don't use Chat, so my boyfriend shouldn't.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the difference between a twenty one.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Exactly instertantal business when you're older.
- 36:21Speaker 3: That's very yes.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Okay.
- 36:23Speaker 5: The title of this one is why aren't we having sex? Hey, guys,
- 36:27Speaker 5: just want to start saying absolutely, love the pod and
- 36:28Speaker 5: everything you do. Keep to keep the hard conversation at
- 36:32Speaker 5: the forefront of our minds. So now to my dilemma.
- 36:35Speaker 5: I have been with my boyfriend for nearly two years.
- 36:38Speaker 5: He is twenty seven and I am twenty two, but
- 36:41Speaker 5: the age gap feels a lot more like one to
- 36:43Speaker 5: two years. We moved in together in February this year
- 36:46Speaker 5: and everything is going well. He has told me in
- 36:49Speaker 5: the past that he wants to marry me one day.
- 36:51Speaker 5: He often talks about the future with me in it,
- 36:54Speaker 5: so I generally feel secure and comfortable. Before we live together,
- 36:59Speaker 5: we were having sex at least four times a week.
- 37:01Speaker 5: To be honest, he had a much higher sex drive
- 37:04Speaker 5: than me, but this wasn't really an issue. For about
- 37:07Speaker 5: three months, we have been having sex about once every
- 37:10Speaker 5: two weeks. I'm pretty confident that he isn't wanking because
- 37:13Speaker 5: he comes quickly and makes a comment like sorry, I
- 37:16Speaker 5: haven't came in so long. It's making me feel totally undesirable.
- 37:21Speaker 5: I have spoke to him about it when it first started,
- 37:24Speaker 5: and for a week it did pick back up, but
- 37:27Speaker 5: then it fell back into no sex. I don't know
- 37:29Speaker 5: whether it's an effort thing. Is he just being super
- 37:32Speaker 5: lazy and can't be bothered having sex, or is there
- 37:34Speaker 5: something else? It could be something to do with our relationship.
- 37:37Speaker 5: I would really like a male's perspective on this. Has
- 37:40Speaker 5: there ever been a period of time where you are
- 37:42Speaker 5: not really having sex with your partner? And how do
- 37:44Speaker 5: we get past this? Everything else is totally normal.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I just have no idea.
- 37:48Speaker 3: It's plind demand living together. You're fucking in the honeymoon phase.
- 37:52Speaker 1: We've spoken about this recently, applying.
- 37:55Speaker 6: My partner and I literally I remember having this comment
- 37:57Speaker 6: when we moved in and we barely SEXYMO. He's like, yes,
- 38:01Speaker 6: we fucking do. And also we were not living together.
- 38:05Speaker 6: When you're together, you're kind of like, really maximize you
- 38:08Speaker 6: make the most.
- 38:09Speaker 3: I think it's like appetite can decrease, like it's just
- 38:15Speaker 3: a relationship big time.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I got caught up on the fact that she's like,
- 38:21Speaker 2: I don't think he's wanking.
- 38:23Speaker 3: We're so pro masturbate.
- 38:25Speaker 6: I have a wave.
- 38:26Speaker 1: I don't think she said.
- 38:27Speaker 4: I think she just doesn't think I don't think she cares.
- 38:32Speaker 1: You just want you.
- 38:37Speaker 3: My boyfriend. Just anyone any boys listening.
- 38:40Speaker 2: You can watch porn and chat EBT and have a
- 38:42Speaker 2: wank whenever you like, Thank you very much, like.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Sharking hookers.
- 38:47Speaker 2: I'm pretty fucking okay with everything. But it's crazy how
- 38:50Speaker 2: like it's the standards are crazy, Like I don't think
- 38:55Speaker 2: he's having a wank.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Big whoop it for you?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Who cares? Bro?
- 39:00Speaker 2: I used to have a boyfriend that used to text me.
- 39:02Speaker 2: We didn't live together at the time, and I was
- 39:04Speaker 2: much young, Going to be fair, he used to text me,
- 39:06Speaker 2: baby coming over tonight or should I huges like, have
- 39:11Speaker 2: a wank and watch porns and I'd be like, no, no, no, no,
- 39:15Speaker 2: I'm getting the car.
- 39:18Speaker 1: About this time. That is so funny.
- 39:21Speaker 6: I was picking her up from to go to lunch
- 39:24Speaker 6: or something, and I picked her up. She's like, oh, babe,
- 39:27Speaker 6: I forgot your things, and we're like, should we go back?
- 39:29Speaker 6: She's like, now we'll go to lunch and we'll get
- 39:31Speaker 6: it on you.
- 39:32Speaker 2: No.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Yeah, so we circle back. So she's like, I'll run
- 39:36Speaker 6: in the house. And I was nearly going to go
- 39:37Speaker 6: with her, and now I'll run in and she runs in.
- 39:40Speaker 6: We have just left the house, mind you. She circles
- 39:44Speaker 6: back in the fucking big screens on.
- 39:49Speaker 3: The laptop. He's got his T shirt and pants on
- 39:53Speaker 3: the couch.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Oh ship baby, and she's like, oh my god, that
- 39:57Speaker 2: is a con.
- 40:00Speaker 6: Left the house and they had a very healthy sex life,
- 40:03Speaker 6: but he just felt the need for some solo time.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I mean we just laugh, you know. We we do
- 40:09Speaker 1: talk about how like every now and then you do
- 40:12Speaker 1: want to just like yourself, and she was she was laughing.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Experience. He's really actually he.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Really likes.
- 40:32Speaker 3: But I think, yeah, she shouldn't be feeling insecure about that.
- 40:35Speaker 1: No, yeah, I would, I.
- 40:39Speaker 5: Personally. Only it's maybe the last couple of years. I
- 40:43Speaker 5: think it's since I started dating my girlfriend. I like
- 40:46Speaker 5: we talk about how like we we talk about how
- 40:49Speaker 5: like porn can be quite it can be quite damaging
- 40:52Speaker 5: sometimes if you're like an addiction to it and it
- 40:55Speaker 5: can be very damaging. And another thing another way it
- 40:57Speaker 5: can be quite damaging. It's just like when you're young
- 40:59Speaker 5: and you're access to it at such a young age,
- 41:01Speaker 5: like that's where you learn about sex, which is just
- 41:04Speaker 5: like not very accurate. Yeah, but I like I have
- 41:08Speaker 5: like slowed down on it like a lot, And I
- 41:10Speaker 5: don't even know if it's just like due to like
- 41:12Speaker 5: growing up.
- 41:13Speaker 2: And also like having a full time partner just like
- 41:16Speaker 2: I live with.
- 41:17Speaker 5: My girlfriend and stuff, but I remember and we had
- 41:21Speaker 5: a very similar dilemma the other day and I very
- 41:25Speaker 5: recently I spoke to my girlfriend about our sex life
- 41:27Speaker 5: and I just like brought up like I was like,
- 41:29Speaker 5: I just want to talk about her sex life or whatever,
- 41:30Speaker 5: and she straight out way was.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Like, oh, I'm sorry, and I was like no, No,
- 41:34Speaker 1: I was like, I don't. I'm not like demanding more
- 41:37Speaker 1: or I'm going to break up with you or anything
- 41:38Speaker 1: like that.
- 41:38Speaker 5: I was like I was sending away, like I so
- 41:41Speaker 5: like since we moved in together, we've lived nearly two
- 41:44Speaker 5: years together now, it definitely has slowed down. And I
- 41:48Speaker 5: was saying to her like, I've noticed it slowed down,
- 41:50Speaker 5: but I've noticed that I don't actually care.
- 41:51Speaker 1: But what I care.
- 41:52Speaker 5: What's making me think about it right is like I'm thinking,
- 41:56Speaker 5: does besth care? Like I'm like, so I think, like, okay,
- 41:59Speaker 5: it's been like maybe a couple of weeks, and I'm
- 42:01Speaker 5: like it does best care? And then I also think
- 42:04Speaker 5: I think a lot of just like society and growing
- 42:06Speaker 5: up telling you like, if you stop having sex, you're
- 42:08Speaker 5: falling out a love type of thing, is like what
- 42:10Speaker 5: was affecting me? Yeah, so I just brought up with them.
- 42:12Speaker 5: She's like, oh no, I also like don't care, and
- 42:13Speaker 5: I was like, okay, cool on the same page.
- 42:15Speaker 4: I guess that's it.
- 42:16Speaker 2: It's all about aligning on Like so you know we
- 42:19Speaker 2: are still sweet.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you knows.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I feel like, you know, in your.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Like energy towards each other, if it is a problem
- 42:30Speaker 2: or not, And like, you know, whilst I'm out here
- 42:33Speaker 2: being like everyone is allowed to watch porn, Yeah, I
- 42:34Speaker 2: wouldn't of course have a problem if my boyfriend was
- 42:36Speaker 2: watching porn every.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Day and not shagging.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Sex life at the same time.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that would be I would be like, well
- 42:43Speaker 3: why don't why.
- 42:44Speaker 1: You know, can we put it? And I think we do.
- 42:49Speaker 6: Yeah, But like very like we have been lucky to
- 42:53Speaker 6: have been shown very healthy love in our lives, which
- 42:56Speaker 6: is probably why we can stand pretty firmly like a
- 43:00Speaker 6: lot of respect for ourselves, have a lot of respect
- 43:01Speaker 6: for our partners, Like yeah, we've always felt like that
- 43:05Speaker 6: we were treated well, so like that, Yeah, fucking blessings.
- 43:07Speaker 6: I know that's not always the case, and there are
- 43:09Speaker 6: some absolute dogs out there, but I do think, yeah,
- 43:12Speaker 6: it's it is a shame that, like, you know, girls
- 43:15Speaker 6: measure that like it shouldn't.
- 43:17Speaker 3: Really be that deep. What you said is perfect though.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I think it's like I think if you're both on
- 43:23Speaker 2: the same page, where like you're both aligned with the
- 43:26Speaker 2: fact that like, yeah, we don't do it as much
- 43:27Speaker 2: as we do, but we you know X y Z.
- 43:30Speaker 2: That's when the communication is like open and it's like
- 43:33Speaker 2: but you can you can feel it in your soul
- 43:37Speaker 2: when you're not doing it, or maybe it's like you're
- 43:42Speaker 2: extending the olive rench and it's always like a knock knock.
- 43:45Speaker 1: You're trying to if you're trying to avoid it as well,
- 43:48Speaker 1: like you don't want it to happen, then you like, oh.
- 43:51Speaker 3: Not snight, babe, I'm tired, Not this morning, babe, I'm tired.
- 43:54Speaker 2: It's like it so mortified. If I kept trying to
- 43:59Speaker 2: shag someone my partner and they were like knocking me back,
- 44:03Speaker 2: maybe one cy could handle, maybe twice, but by the
- 44:06Speaker 2: third time, I'd be like.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Reject, reject, I'm going to and you can see her
- 44:11Speaker 1: and was off campus.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Put it on the big straight, on the big string,
- 44:17Speaker 3: make a video for masculinity. Seriously, if you're not going
- 44:24Speaker 3: to put out on the big screen, that's so funny. Sorry,
- 44:33Speaker 3: we turn everything into a joke. Back to this Cheeks dilemma.
- 44:41Speaker 2: With not having sex is often I think it's fine,
- 44:45Speaker 2: But if you are genuinely a little bit concerned, I
- 44:48Speaker 2: think then maybe you should just have a nice conversation.
- 44:52Speaker 1: You know, I just wanted to check in what's concerning you.
- 44:55Speaker 1: The question is like are you concerned that he's concerned?
- 44:57Speaker 5: Are you concerned that everyone else is going to be like, oh,
- 45:00Speaker 5: you need to break up because you guys don't have
- 45:01Speaker 5: sex anymore.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Because you really want to.
- 45:03Speaker 1: He doesn't very horny and you have giving you anything
- 45:06Speaker 1: and you are concerned that he does not. It's just
- 45:09Speaker 1: want to talk about it.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Communicators, communication, Communication is key, and like being honest with
- 45:14Speaker 2: why you think things too, I think is another thing.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Like like you said, like think about what what's really
- 45:20Speaker 2: the issue for you? Is it because you're horning and
- 45:21Speaker 2: not getting a route? Is it because you're.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Worried about it's like sirable?
- 45:25Speaker 2: Yeah, a symbol of like your relationships in a bad
- 45:27Speaker 2: place because as well your best mates, like, well, fuck
- 45:30Speaker 2: my boyfriend five nights a week and you think that
- 45:32Speaker 2: you're like less than Yeah, you gotta really be honest
- 45:35Speaker 2: with you, like why you think certain things.
- 45:43Speaker 6: Bad?
- 45:44Speaker 1: He's bad, he's baddies. After the dilemmas, we know you
- 45:47Speaker 1: love him, we thought we could go one step further
- 45:49Speaker 1: with a brand new segment, the Confession Hotline. Yeah, brought
- 45:54Speaker 1: to you, but as.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Clear because I just want to say something nothing.
- 46:01Speaker 1: How do I say this?
- 46:02Speaker 4: Nothing unites of people.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Like a breakout? Oh, relatable because everyone's had them, all right,
- 46:11Speaker 1: nobody wants them. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 46:13Speaker 4: That's a very good point.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Whether you've had a lot or a little, you don't
- 46:16Speaker 1: want any Yeah. How it's going to work is the
- 46:19Speaker 1: listeners have sent in some dms, Yeah about some breakouts
- 46:23Speaker 1: they've had.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Yes, so we are gonna I'll go first, we both
- 46:27Speaker 5: have one. Yeah, Okay, Hey boys, I had a massive
- 46:31Speaker 5: breakout pop up the week of my dream job interview.
- 46:35Speaker 4: God, how's the timing?
- 46:37Speaker 5: It sounds so dramatic, but I almost canceled because I
- 46:40Speaker 5: was convinced that only look at my skin. I spent
- 46:43Speaker 5: the whole interview thinking about whether they were staring at
- 46:45Speaker 5: my forehead instead of listening to my answers. I ended
- 46:49Speaker 5: up getting the job. Congrats, But looking back, I hate
- 46:52Speaker 5: that my skin almost talked me out of one of
- 46:54Speaker 5: the biggest opportunities of my life.
- 46:57Speaker 4: How's the timing on that.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Your skin always does that? Yeo, when you needed to turn.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Up, When you needed to turn up, it turns up
- 47:05Speaker 4: in the wrong way.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Oh, you're literally unfortunately unfortunately, but I mean a job interview.
- 47:11Speaker 1: But look look look like glass half full. Okay, you
- 47:14Speaker 1: still ace the interview. Clearly you did a good job. Yeah,
- 47:17Speaker 1: which is a takeaway, but I guess you wasn't present
- 47:19Speaker 1: and like took away from You want.
- 47:21Speaker 5: To cherish the moment of it. You're like, you probably
- 47:23Speaker 5: so you look back on your interview and you think
- 47:25Speaker 5: I was stressing.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I was. I was stressing that they were looking
- 47:28Speaker 1: at me. I was stressing this.
- 47:29Speaker 4: I was stressing that.
- 47:30Speaker 5: And you want to look back on it and be
- 47:31Speaker 5: you want it to be one of those moments where
- 47:32Speaker 5: you're like, I'm proud of out of that moment in
- 47:35Speaker 5: my life, I conquered that.
- 47:37Speaker 1: You still conquered something. You still conquered it. Yeah, I
- 47:40Speaker 1: guess like takeaways are one, you got the job, and
- 47:43Speaker 1: then two Like for me, what has helped me with
- 47:47Speaker 1: confidence moving forward is like a simple skincare routine. Skinnermalism,
- 47:51Speaker 1: skinnermalism exactly. It's like you see my plan on words. Yeah,
- 47:54Speaker 1: it's pretty good. You come up without yourself. I did, Yeah,
- 47:57Speaker 1: I did, genuinely right off the dome, came off with
- 48:00Speaker 1: that and with a simple routine. I always just use
- 48:03Speaker 1: as clear.
- 48:03Speaker 5: Yes honestly good recommendation, it's it's suitable factory pro skin,
- 48:08Speaker 5: and just cut through all the skincare noise or your
- 48:12Speaker 5: head noise.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Yes, exactly. During that interview, baddie, all right, my turn
- 48:17Speaker 1: a DM sent in by you baddies. Here we go.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I went to Europe with my best friends and had
- 48:22Speaker 1: the worst acne flare up I've had in years. Every
- 48:25Speaker 1: time someone pulled out a camera, I'd volunteer to take
- 48:28Speaker 1: the photo instead of being in it. No, now we're
- 48:31Speaker 1: all back home and I've realized I'm barely in any
- 48:34Speaker 1: photos from what was probably the best trip of my life.
- 48:39Speaker 1: It honestly makes me feel sad because I let a
- 48:42Speaker 1: breakout steal those memories from me here, No hold on,
- 48:45Speaker 1: let me just backtrack.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Here, all right, it didn't steal the memories. You've got
- 48:49Speaker 4: the memories up here.
- 48:50Speaker 1: They're still there. Yeah, they are there. The photos, the
- 48:52Speaker 1: photos just yeah, so the memories are there, but there's
- 48:56Speaker 1: no photo evidence. Photos don't mean everything.
- 48:59Speaker 4: You know when people say like photo evidence and I'll
- 49:01Speaker 4: believe you. Yeah, Unfortunately you can't provide that.
- 49:04Speaker 1: But that's okay. Yeah, I feel bad. I thought about it.
- 49:08Speaker 4: It could have been a plane.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Ride, it could have been anything. It's out of your control. Yeah,
- 49:12Speaker 1: that's the hard thing about it.
- 49:13Speaker 4: That there's a hard thing about it.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Let's be real here, like do you know what I
- 49:17Speaker 1: bring on planes with me? But as clear four steps easy.
- 49:20Speaker 4: Once again, I'm gonna hit you with what I said
- 49:22Speaker 4: prior Skinner Moalism doesn't take up any.
- 49:24Speaker 5: Room in my bag.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more, Jade. Yeah, and anyone listening who
- 49:32Speaker 1: resonates with any of this, be sure to check out
- 49:34Speaker 1: the as Clear action range at your local pharmacy.
- 49:43Speaker 5: Talking about I guess communication because it goes both goes
- 49:46Speaker 5: with friendships, relationships and all that we wanted to talk
- 49:49Speaker 5: about before we finished up about you guys having obviously
- 49:53Speaker 5: like the successful podcasts and then the successful company, and
- 49:56Speaker 5: you guys also do a radio show. How do you
- 50:00Speaker 5: do you guys have you found like from Steak Did
- 50:02Speaker 5: you start jaggering Stone First?
- 50:04Speaker 2: We had a joint Instagram first, which was I guess
- 50:07Speaker 2: we kind of became like influencers first.
- 50:09Speaker 1: You were like the first to do what kind of
- 50:11Speaker 1: was my girlfriends punter, like one of the first like,
- 50:18Speaker 1: yeah duos to do it.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Well when we started doing our Instagram together, I don't
- 50:22Speaker 2: I don't think anyone was really doing it as duo's
- 50:25Speaker 2: the whole one. Yeah, in our kind of space, and
- 50:29Speaker 2: we definitely were. We definitely learnt a lot more into
- 50:32Speaker 2: like lifestyle, Like we did a lot of festival fashion
- 50:35Speaker 2: that was kind of our thing. But then we were
- 50:36Speaker 2: also like just really lit and we did a lot
- 50:38Speaker 2: of like lifestyle and stuff. So I think that was
- 50:41Speaker 2: different back then too because that's was like the more
- 50:43Speaker 2: curated era and we were kind of a little bit
- 50:45Speaker 2: like less curated. Yeah, so I think that was kind
- 50:49Speaker 2: of how so then we started jagger, then a year
- 50:52Speaker 2: later we started the podcast, and then now it's kind
- 50:57Speaker 2: of just everything that we do.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Do you ever struggle with like only chatting about business
- 51:02Speaker 1: in your relationship or you guys could disconnecting we.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Don't really chat about business whatever.
- 51:06Speaker 6: Always say we're like, fuck, it's it's we actually don't
- 51:10Speaker 6: run out of shit to talk about, which is probably
- 51:11Speaker 6: why we're lucky to.
- 51:12Speaker 2: We could prioritize more formal business conversations between us.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Because the opposite of us yeah, yeah.
- 51:17Speaker 5: See, like we could prioritize more friendship, which like, yeah,
- 51:20Speaker 5: we talk about and like we feel as though we
- 51:23Speaker 5: get like a lot of friendship and like camaraderie and
- 51:27Speaker 5: just like we feel like we get a lot of
- 51:28Speaker 5: that from doing the podcast because like we do sit
- 51:30Speaker 5: down and most of the time we just have like
- 51:32Speaker 5: a chat that yeah with a friend.
- 51:34Speaker 3: See.
- 51:34Speaker 6: We like when we do like our yeah, it does
- 51:38Speaker 6: get really conversational, like we're lucky, Like even if we
- 51:40Speaker 6: do like a punter submission episode, like often it ends
- 51:43Speaker 6: up us talking about our lives, so like it always
- 51:46Speaker 6: does feel very conversational. But no, we always say, we're
- 51:49Speaker 6: like we should be more dialed into talking about like
- 51:51Speaker 6: our business stuff as.
- 51:53Speaker 5: We just go off the tangent about ask about the
- 51:56Speaker 5: business stuff a lot kind of how you've done it,
- 51:59Speaker 5: like like just out of inspiration. Going to your studio
- 52:04Speaker 5: right before this was like something that we like walking
- 52:06Speaker 5: in there is kind of like, yeah, this is fucking
- 52:07Speaker 5: really cool.
- 52:08Speaker 1: It's like a big inspiration. Yeah, yeah, it's very it
- 52:11Speaker 1: was very very cool.
- 52:13Speaker 2: But do you know what we just still feel like
- 52:14Speaker 2: you guys, I think that's the thing. And like, don't
- 52:17Speaker 2: get me wrong, like we definitely have like leveled up
- 52:22Speaker 2: in the like last few years, and like for us
- 52:24Speaker 2: also having a nice studio and like a nice office
- 52:29Speaker 2: and things like that, it's like it's maybe not necessary. Yeah,
- 52:33Speaker 2: like we'd probably still make the same amount of money
- 52:36Speaker 2: if we didn't have all those nice things. But we're
- 52:39Speaker 2: also just like women in our mid thirties who I
- 52:42Speaker 2: like to have a nice home, I like to have
- 52:43Speaker 2: a nice office, and I like to have a nice car.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Like that's it's not like, yeah, I just think it's
- 52:48Speaker 2: kind of you know, we have a full team now,
- 52:51Speaker 2: so it's like, you know, we want to provide a
- 52:52Speaker 2: nice place for our teams to.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Work and.
- 52:56Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know, it's yeah, I guess it's like,
- 53:00Speaker 6: like like Lou said, this is only sort of recent
- 53:02Speaker 6: that we've actually we've always liked nice thing.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we've never really been like, all right, we're actually.
- 53:06Speaker 6: Comfortable to part with this amount of money to do
- 53:09Speaker 6: something nice for our brand, and I think like something
- 53:12Speaker 6: like this studio it's all branding, so like if we can,
- 53:15Speaker 6: like would I go and drop that much on? Like
- 53:18Speaker 6: we don't ever go out and buy ourselves design a
- 53:21Speaker 6: handbags or anything. Like everything we do usually goes back
- 53:24Speaker 6: into like the business. We pat us up a wage,
- 53:30Speaker 6: we get paid. No, but like in terms of like
- 53:32Speaker 6: we wouldn't be like, well should I should we go
- 53:34Speaker 6: and buy these Pride bags? Should we put that money
- 53:37Speaker 6: into maybe fucking this little fandangle set up you've got?
- 53:44Speaker 1: You thought.
- 53:46Speaker 6: You walk into our studio, which is amazing, and we
- 53:48Speaker 6: come in here like, Okay.
- 53:51Speaker 7: I actually love the screen set up, isn't Yeah, I
- 53:56Speaker 7: feel like we're running out some sort of crazy or
- 53:59Speaker 7: like we actually.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Still feel like you're making it up the way.
- 54:01Speaker 6: We don't really ever sit and look at our lives
- 54:04Speaker 6: that is like a you know, eagle eye view, like
- 54:06Speaker 6: we're still in.
- 54:07Speaker 5: It, Like you don't really realize what was it like
- 54:09Speaker 5: because you had a you have a four months of baby?
- 54:11Speaker 5: What changed with Like I assume I guess stick on
- 54:14Speaker 5: the topic of communication, just like what's changed from that?
- 54:18Speaker 2: But what I really wanted to when Nick, Like I
- 54:21Speaker 2: think this was going to be naturally the progression, regardless
- 54:24Speaker 2: of babies or not. But what I really really wanted
- 54:27Speaker 2: to do before Nick had Raf was put in the
- 54:33Speaker 2: challenging thing when you're operating as a duo, even down
- 54:36Speaker 2: to something as simplistic as I'll give you a good example,
- 54:40Speaker 2: like before we had a text from someone being like, Hey,
- 54:43Speaker 2: I need to know if you guys can catch up
- 54:45Speaker 2: on Wednesday for a meeting or wasn't that direct, but
- 54:47Speaker 2: it was like, hey, can we catch up on Wednesday
- 54:48Speaker 2: for a meeting?
- 54:49Speaker 3: And what I was like, I.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Can't keep operating in this space of like us not
- 54:57Speaker 2: knowing who's that means I need?
- 55:00Speaker 6: But you can't like answer things without checking with the
- 55:03Speaker 6: other yes, So we're constantly like bottlenecking stuff.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Yeah, And it's like I can't see nicks calendar, she
- 55:08Speaker 2: can't see mine. I don't want to. I'm too lazy
- 55:11Speaker 2: to even look at mine. I'm not going to go
- 55:12Speaker 2: and look at Nick's calendar. So I'm kind of like,
- 55:14Speaker 2: I was like, we need to have people that in
- 55:17Speaker 2: our two businesses that we have, which is Jagger and Stone,
- 55:20Speaker 2: which is like our fashion label, and then like the
- 55:23Speaker 2: Lucian Nikki brand which is like our radio podcasts, et cetera, Instagram,
- 55:27Speaker 2: and then also like the live shows and everything. I
- 55:30Speaker 2: was like, we need to have people that operate as
- 55:33Speaker 2: like the person between us that can answer these questions
- 55:36Speaker 2: for other people outside of us. So like when you
- 55:40Speaker 2: know upwards of like ten people in a day would
- 55:43Speaker 2: come that's not even a joke for one one of
- 55:46Speaker 2: those businesses come to us like what requesting meetings, needing answers.
- 55:51Speaker 2: We now have like two people that sit as like
- 55:54Speaker 2: the heads of those businesses that can answer on behalf
- 55:58Speaker 2: of us. That was something that I was like super
- 56:01Speaker 2: conscious of because it also like is one of those
- 56:03Speaker 2: things where like I didn't want to start to like
- 56:05Speaker 2: get pissed off at Nick because she won't answer questions
- 56:09Speaker 2: or you know what I mean, and she's just had
- 56:10Speaker 2: a baby. But I didn't want to be like, well,
- 56:12Speaker 2: why do I have to answer this question? So now
- 56:14Speaker 2: we have people that answer those questions.
- 56:16Speaker 3: For us, and they can be full time and keep
- 56:18Speaker 3: the wheels turning.
- 56:19Speaker 2: YEA, yeah, when I will kind of like in the
- 56:24Speaker 2: last like what nine months, But it was one of
- 56:27Speaker 2: those things that I was like, we needed a Jagger
- 56:28Speaker 2: and Stone regardless because just the nature of how we're
- 56:31Speaker 2: in and out of the time, and there's a whole
- 56:33Speaker 2: team there working on that, but like even just on
- 56:36Speaker 2: like the me and Nicky stuff. When nick was like
- 56:39Speaker 2: I am like having a baby, I was like, we
- 56:42Speaker 2: need to figure this out because we just when you
- 56:47Speaker 2: don't have really set roles between the two of you,
- 56:49Speaker 2: which we still kind of don't, like we kind of
- 56:51Speaker 2: like lean more into things. But I was like, if
- 56:54Speaker 2: we kind of just like always ambiguously being like I
- 56:58Speaker 2: don't know who's responsible to respet on to these people
- 57:00Speaker 2: and whatever or just to action these things, it can
- 57:03Speaker 2: get muddy and.
- 57:05Speaker 6: It's full on, like you think of the last twenty
- 57:07Speaker 6: four hours in our life right now to this point.
- 57:08Speaker 6: So yesterday we launched a Jagger and Stone collection. So
- 57:12Speaker 6: like obviously like there's all that happening in the background,
- 57:14Speaker 6: which the team are running, it's awesome whatever, and then
- 57:16Speaker 6: we go and do we're meant to do our Patreon recordings.
- 57:19Speaker 6: Yesterday I'd pull the pin because I lost my voice.
- 57:22Speaker 5: Lol.
- 57:23Speaker 3: I've got a sick.
- 57:23Speaker 6: Baby at home, we go and do a National drive
- 57:26Speaker 6: show live, so we're doing that today as well.
- 57:29Speaker 3: And then we've just recorded what three podcasts Jesus like.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and you got two more, so we did one
- 57:34Speaker 1: before we did ours and one more before us.
- 57:36Speaker 2: And we're still getting in trouble from every single person
- 57:38Speaker 2: that we were. We're not getting to people when you
- 57:40Speaker 2: guys arrived.
- 57:41Speaker 6: I don't know if you saw, like our staff member
- 57:43Speaker 6: was like, girls, like it urgently needs you to film
- 57:47Speaker 6: this right now. We've got a message on our phone. Girls,
- 57:49Speaker 6: you still haven't to let me know if tomorrow is
- 57:50Speaker 6: good for this. Like it's like if you look at
- 57:52Speaker 6: your phone at any given time. And I've especially found
- 57:55Speaker 6: that since having a baby, and it's something I need
- 57:57Speaker 6: to figure out how to like lower my stress levels
- 58:01Speaker 6: in that because I feel like every time I pick
- 58:03Speaker 6: up my phone, I have not replied to fucking literally
- 58:06Speaker 6: forty people. Yeah, and it's hard needs something now, Yeah,
- 58:10Speaker 6: And that's that's the hard thing too, Like we like
- 58:13Speaker 6: and like this is still a work in progress. Yeah,
- 58:15Speaker 6: but like we also are recording like for so many
- 58:20Speaker 6: hours a week, like especially like this week because we're
- 58:22Speaker 6: on full time drive, like we're like and I find
- 58:24Speaker 6: that sometimes people don't understand that, like when we're working,
- 58:27Speaker 6: I'm not sitting on a laptop on our phones like
- 58:30Speaker 6: willy nilly.
- 58:30Speaker 3: It's like we're like locked in.
- 58:31Speaker 1: It's mental, very mentally, like this is so.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Easy for us.
- 58:36Speaker 2: But I'm also like not on my phone, so please
- 58:39Speaker 2: stop contacting me. My job is to not be on
- 58:43Speaker 2: my phone.
- 58:44Speaker 6: And you're Nikki to do the radio show that Lucy
- 58:46Speaker 6: Nikki to do this. But then it's like we're getting
- 58:48Speaker 6: like bombarded our recordings.
- 58:51Speaker 3: I need this now, I need this.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Now, and it's like and then on top of that,
- 58:54Speaker 2: you've also got to manage the fact that now for
- 58:56Speaker 2: the first few years about us having our businesses together,
- 58:59Speaker 2: like Nick and I live toge like you could guarantee
- 59:01Speaker 2: that from six am until nine pm we were pretty
- 59:04Speaker 2: much together, so we didn't have to have structures like
- 59:07Speaker 2: calendars and like even like roles and responsibilities because the
- 59:11Speaker 2: two of us were just sitting there, you know, raw
- 59:13Speaker 2: dogging life together. But now that like we don't live together.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Nick's got a baby, which like is so important in
- 59:20Speaker 2: the structure of her like week and stuff.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Like we have I'm still very much navigating myself, you know,
- 59:25Speaker 3: such new territory.
- 59:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and so we do have to have more like
- 59:29Speaker 2: formal things in place where it's like, you know, it
- 59:32Speaker 2: needs to be like for certain businesses, like you have
- 59:36Speaker 2: my undivided attention from this time to this time and
- 59:38Speaker 2: then that's it. Yeah, And you guys need to have
- 59:41Speaker 2: prepared what you need from me. It can't just be
- 59:43Speaker 2: this ad hoc needing things twenty four seven because we
- 59:47Speaker 2: don't work full time on any one thing.
- 59:49Speaker 4: We got so many people.
- 59:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's one thing I would say to people
- 59:54Speaker 2: starting businesses. I mean, it's hard for us now because
- 59:58Speaker 2: we're doing the opposite, but just do one thing and
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: get really good at one thing, because otherwise you'll end
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: up in the predicament that where in which now we
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: can manage because we've reached a certain level of like
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: you know, like we have teams around us.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Now if you're new normal as well now.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but if we.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Were just doing what we were doing and raw dogging it,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: it would be so on unorganized.
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: True.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that makes a lot of sense actually, And I
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: guess the last question we'll finish on too, Like that's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the business side of things. What about we said, our
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: demo is women and credit where credits you? You guys
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: are doing amazing.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Thanks boys.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Was there ever a point where like you doubt yourself
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: or had to find the confidence to like start all
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: the different avenues you.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Do me all the time, never had to have So
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: it's so funny. I talk about this in my therapist
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: a lot. I have the what's it called limiting beliefs,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Like where dating is concerned, I am like such a
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: pessimist where work is concerned. If I decided I wanted
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: to be the Prime Minister of Australia tomorrow, I'd probably
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: just start doing it.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: You just want to do And she's like, that is
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: a trade.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: It is good.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: But we also like have had knockbacks and stuff, which
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: you know, but like I think because we're in it
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: together too, everything feels way less shit when you have
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: your best friend there to experience.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: We always say like, obviously I'm definitely not as like
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: confident or much of a leader as loose, but like,
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: if I ever see a moment where she's dipping, best believe,
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: I'll be like, we can do it. You know, Yeah,
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: that's fair, And I think that's also like it's like
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: a great dynamic and like there's probably been a million times,
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: and Nick He's like, can we just do things a
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: fucking normal way for once?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: And I'm like, so I will be learning how to
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: come from the roof and a hula hoop with knives.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Like how does that about that?
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: No?
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: But do you know what I mean?
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: But it's like I think the fact that you don't
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: ever then like kind of try and stop that process either,
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: you're kind of just like whatever you want to do,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: let's fuck make happens.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: Born with star qualities.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: I am.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: I was so as a kid like I am the
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: thought I would never come down in a haul hoop.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: It's just not my like, you know, but you don't
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: try and stop me from coming down.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I would never, do you know what I mean? And
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: you would never be like Nikki, you have to come
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: down to hull hoop because you know that I wouldn't
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: do that.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Don't you know that you're learning new choreography for the
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: next live shows.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: But like if she was said to be like I
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: come down on a hula hoop and you do nothing,
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: I'd be like, no one, absolutely no one told you
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: to come down on a hul hoop.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Except for you do.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: That's why we have the best life shows in Australia
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: because there's hullo hoops.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: But no, it is.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: It's just like we have a good working dynamic and
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I think it's one of those things.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Like we don't really piss each other off that much either.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: We often find it helps.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: That we are very different as well, you know what
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: I mean, Like we kind of come in and like
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: offer different things.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's not like I'm ever there like oh god,
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: I'm so jealous of that girl dangling from the roof.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: I'm like, get the bag boom an amazing sweetie.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: But I think we're still like actually, like this is
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: a work in progress at the moment. And I think
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: now now that like work has changed a little bit
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: in the sense of like Nix and Mum, now we
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: are going to have to start being probably a little
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: bit more like you know, a lot of business duos
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: like need to kind of be like, Okay, what attributes
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: am I really contributing? How many hours can I actually
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: be at work a week? And what does that look
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: like from a fair perspective and vice versa, so that
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: it's not just like us both just like floating around
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: kind of like coming to things where maybe only one
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: of us needs to be there, and do you know
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: what I mean, So we're still juggling it. Oh, We're
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: just lucky that like because we get along so well.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: We've never and we're like, you know, have similar you
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: know vibes that for like nine to nine point nine
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: nine nine percent of things, we're just on the exact
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: same page, which is good.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: It's rare.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: And I think, like even just me, like I've just
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: like in my parenting journey, just this last week's probably
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: been like the hardest week I've had. And I've said
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: someone I feel like I peaked early, like I kind
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: of like don't know what everyone's on it, Like I
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: took six weeks Matt leave, do you know what I mean.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: It's it's kind of I think I've probably been living
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: in a bit of a days and now I'm like,
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: holy shit, this is actually my new normal of life
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: and I really need to look at what that is
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: and like how many hours we do have in a
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: week and like what that looks like moving forward because structure,
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: I keep saying, trying to do everything and it's only
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: just going to get busier. It's like I don't know
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: what kind of mum I'm going to be, Yeah, what
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: kind of business partner I'm going to be. So it's yeah,
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: just about being like realistic and honest with yourself and
- 1:04:29Speaker 6: honest with you know, like each other. And like, I
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: think that's where having these other people involved in our
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: businesses and stuff now is going to be. I think
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: I think it's really important for duos to have that
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: kind of person to lean on as well, because then
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: then it's not just like, no, Nikki, you have to
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: be back at work full time. Like it's kind of like,
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: not that I would ever say that anyway, but it's
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: kind of like you need to like have.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: Those resource where you can.
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: And obviously, like with them, where the podcast and radio
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: is concerned, we can't. It's Lucy and Nikki we have
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: to be there.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: So it's just always my brother had to fill in
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: for a while she was on Matt Lee. But even that,
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: like that's another thing that's like a dynamic to navigate.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Like when Nick was on Matt leave, it was kind
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: of my responsibility to find someone to fill in for her,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: even though.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: It shouldn't have It shouldn't have been but do you
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: know what I mean like.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Things like that, like a duo, which you guys will
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: find is a really dynamic thing to navigate because it
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: is one of those things that it's kind of you
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: have to even though maybe like I could have done
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: radio with anyone, I'm gonna want to have a say
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: in who I do radio with, do you know what
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: I mean? So it is one of those things it
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: just takes more plan placeable for each other.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Dog.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it just takes more planning and more like honest
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: conversations and STUFFA.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Well, thank you very much for coming on. Usually we
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: call one of our baddies to sign off the episode,
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: but we thought maybe we could ask you, guys. I've
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: listened to a few episodes in Lucy. You have some
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: great one liners. So if we could ask you to
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: sign off the episode with any like life motto or
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: advice to give the baddies and you guys have when
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: you both live together or and you guys have kind
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: of separate.
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: Ask and you shall receive. Oh yeah, that's our go to.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: What else have we got? Get little die trying a
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: little trying, Yeah, don't do that, don't actually die.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Receive is a really good asking. You shall receiver.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Is our favorite.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: If you don't go, you never know exactly.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Ask the questions. People aren't mind readers.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: If you need a lift.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Ask Vin Diesel might pick you up. Literally, you.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Might pick you up.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Vin Diesel gave us a lift home from Coachella one night.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: As we asked for a lift.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a story for another day. Thank you very
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: much for your time.
