- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to this edition of Vince on
- 0:03Speaker 1: a Tuesday. Great to have you with us. As always,
- 0:05Speaker 1: the best audience anywhere. We have a mighty show ahead
- 0:07Speaker 1: for you. Of course, it's January 6th. You may know
- 0:10Speaker 1: it as one of the high holy days of the left.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Peace be upon them. It's a huge day. We're going
- 0:15Speaker 1: to go back and take a look at some of
- 0:17Speaker 1: the ways in which they're obsessing over January 6th, 2026.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Don't you forget it. Also, Tim Walls, of course, announced
- 0:25Speaker 1: that he's dropping out in Minnesota. That's wonderful. We've got
- 0:29Speaker 1: Maduro going in before court yesterday in New York City
- 0:33Speaker 1: and being stunned by what a functioning justice system looks like.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And Michael Knowles stops by. Yes, we have a very
- 0:42Speaker 1: busy show for you. And I'm so glad you're here.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Thanks for being here with us. Coming up on the program. OK,
- 0:47Speaker 1: we've got great sponsors on this show. That includes Bone Charge.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You familiar with Bone Charge? You should be. Bone Charge
- 0:52Speaker 1: is incredible. Bone Charge has this thing called an infrared
- 0:55Speaker 1: sauna blanket. I've got it. My wife's got the Bone
- 0:58Speaker 1: Charge Red Light Face Mask. And ever since they sent
- 1:00Speaker 1: these products to us, we can't love them and recommend
- 1:03Speaker 1: them enough. Now, that sauna blanket has been great. I'm
- 1:07Speaker 1: always looking for ways to try and figure out how
- 1:09Speaker 1: to get my creaky body to feel better. The sauna
- 1:12Speaker 1: blanket helps a lot. It helps with muscle recovery, detoxification.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It's become a total game changer. Easy to use. I
- 1:18Speaker 1: just wrap myself up, let the infrared heat work its magic.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It's created a huge difference for how I relax and
- 1:23Speaker 1: rejuvenate and how I feel afterward. Allison loves the Red
- 1:26Speaker 1: Light Face Mask. She uses it because it helps improve
- 1:29Speaker 1: your skin's texture, reduce inflammation. And she's seen incredible results
- 1:33Speaker 1: with it. It's like having a mini spa treatment right
- 1:35Speaker 1: at home. So if you're thinking of trying either of
- 1:37Speaker 1: these products out, well, you're in luck. Head to bonecharge.com.
- 1:41Speaker 1: That's B-O-N charge.com. Use the code Vince at checkout. Get

- 1:59Speaker 1: by the FDA. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure,
- 2:03Speaker 1: or prevent any disease or condition. Yes, yes, it is
- 2:12Speaker 1: January 6th, ladies and gentlemen. If you still have the
- 2:15Speaker 1: tree up, I know what you can do with it.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Adorn it with a Palestinian flag, perhaps, or a pride flag,
- 2:20Speaker 1: or put your COVID masks all over it. That's right.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Or your Maduro poster. Put that up in a prominent
- 2:25Speaker 1: place in your house and celebrate January 6th. It's an
- 2:29Speaker 1: important day. Sometimes I still wake up in terrors and
- 2:32Speaker 1: think about when the Capitol Police were leading the Viking
- 2:35Speaker 1: guy jet like a tour around the Capitol building or
- 2:39Speaker 1: when the Capitol Police egads open the doors to allow
- 2:43Speaker 1: people in. I can't stop thinking about it. Do you
- 2:45Speaker 1: remember all the assault selfies that were taking place? That's right.
- 2:48Speaker 1: People were holding up their fully automatic assault cell phones
- 2:52Speaker 1: and taking pictures of themselves inside of their own Capitol building.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Disgusting.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Disgusting. I can't believe that happened. And every day since
- 3:01Speaker 1: then has been January 6th. Don't believe me? Well, today, Politico's,
- 3:08Speaker 1: one of Politico's idiots, a guy called Kyle Chaney, if
- 3:13Speaker 1: that's even his real name, He posted the following to
- 3:16Speaker 1: social media today. It was accompanied by a big piece
- 3:18Speaker 1: that he's promoting, but it's hilarious. He wrote, new, Donald
- 3:22Speaker 1: Trump's escape from accountability for January 6th has been the
- 3:27Speaker 1: animating force in his second term. A president willing to
- 3:31Speaker 1: test and cross constitutional lines, knowing the institutions meant to
- 3:34Speaker 1: check or punish him can't or won't. What is he
- 3:37Speaker 1: talking about? Donald Trump has followed the constitution and the
- 3:40Speaker 1: law to the T, even to the point that it's
- 3:42Speaker 1: been frustrating. So watch. He keeps following the law. That's
- 3:46Speaker 1: the feature. Everyone around him is trying to destroy him,
- 3:49Speaker 1: has been breaking the law and the Constitution. But Kyle
- 3:51Speaker 1: goes on and he goes, five years later, January 6th
- 3:56Speaker 1: is every day. Now, that's hilarious. And what does he
- 4:00Speaker 1: mean by that? January 6th is every day. Where is
- 4:03Speaker 1: January 6th? Is January 6th every day inside of your house?
- 4:08Speaker 1: I mean, maybe January 6th is every day inside of
- 4:11Speaker 1: the Ms. Now green room. Maybe that's where January six
- 4:14Speaker 1: is every day. Or perhaps he means January six, a
- 4:18Speaker 1: day where nobody was actually staging an insurrection. What kind
- 4:22Speaker 1: of insurrection doesn't have weapons? The whole thing is so stupid.
- 4:25Speaker 1: So maybe he means that the right continues not to
- 4:29Speaker 1: try and violently overthrow the country because we prefer law
- 4:33Speaker 1: and order. Maybe that's what he means. January six is
- 4:34Speaker 1: every day. Or maybe what he means is January six,
- 4:38Speaker 1: in his view, is a violent insurrection. So are we
- 4:40Speaker 1: getting violent insurrections all the time? Hmm. Yeah, from the left.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So maybe that's what he means. No, we know what
- 4:46Speaker 1: he means. We know that the left continues to cling
- 4:50Speaker 1: desperately to January 6th as some sort of tool that
- 4:54Speaker 1: they can use to expand their power. Nancy Pelosi launched
- 4:57Speaker 1: an entire fake committee using January 6th as a pretext,
- 5:01Speaker 1: despite the fact she was the one who didn't even
- 5:03Speaker 1: call the National Guard. And she resisted having the National
- 5:06Speaker 1: Guard there precisely for this purpose. The left is desperate
- 5:13Speaker 1: for handholds in order to rise back to power. So
- 5:17Speaker 1: they'll use any pretext for it. And Kyle Cheney is
- 5:19Speaker 1: a willing little lick spittle for that purpose. Oh, January
- 5:23Speaker 1: 6th is every day. He wants January 6th to be
- 5:26Speaker 1: every day. His thing is to wish cast that January
- 5:30Speaker 1: 6th be every day so that the left can get
- 5:32Speaker 1: more power. And our answer to that is hell no.
- 5:35Speaker 1: We don't view it that way. In fact, what we
- 5:38Speaker 1: fervently want is, is for a restoration of the rule
- 5:42Speaker 1: of law. It's why we voted for Donald Trump in
- 5:44Speaker 1: the first place. It's why we sent him back into office,
- 5:47Speaker 1: despite your many theatrical and tyrannical protests. Yeah, no, we're
- 5:52Speaker 1: sending that guy back. We want to restore order in
- 5:56Speaker 1: the Constitution. And so we did. January 6th is every day.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And they're still using anything they can desperately. to try
- 6:06Speaker 1: and undermine president Trump, including, including, and especially January 6th. Um,
- 6:09Speaker 1: here's another one for you today. This is from Politico.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Another one from Politico. I don't know what Politico, they
- 6:14Speaker 1: woke up and they chose idiocy today. Um, here, Politico
- 6:18Speaker 1: is rooting for the pipe bomber to go free today.
- 6:24Speaker 1: They're rooting for the pipe bomber to go free. Brian
- 6:26Speaker 1: Cole Jr. Who, I don't know if you're familiar with this,
- 6:29Speaker 1: but there's a, there's a fellow called Dan Bongino, who
- 6:32Speaker 1: is going to be back behind a microphone very soon. And, uh,
- 6:36Speaker 1: He comes into the FBI deputy director and he makes
- 6:40Speaker 1: one of his most important priorities to capture the January
- 6:42Speaker 1: 6th pipe bomber. They just brought him into custody a
- 6:45Speaker 1: month or so ago. They finally catch this guy after
- 6:47Speaker 1: all these years. And to be clear, I want to
- 6:49Speaker 1: remind people it wasn't based on a bunch of new information.
- 6:52Speaker 1: It wasn't based on new tipsters or anything like that.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It was simply based on the information that the Biden
- 6:58Speaker 1: led FBI refused to act upon. They had it in
- 7:02Speaker 1: their custody and they refused to take this guy into custody.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That's the truth. And so they finally take Brian Cole Jr.
- 7:10Speaker 1: into custody. He confesses in his conversations with authorities that
- 7:15Speaker 1: it was him. They got him dead to rights. If
- 7:17Speaker 1: you go read all the available legal documents on the subject,
- 7:21Speaker 1: they've got his cell phone patterns. They got his license plate.
- 7:23Speaker 1: They've got him all around this place. They got him
- 7:25Speaker 1: on video. He's dropping the bombs on the evening of
- 7:28Speaker 1: January 5th. They got their guy. And now Politico is
- 7:33Speaker 1: arguing Donald Trump may have accidentally pardoned him. I'm sorry.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Come again. He accidentally would he slip any pardon? Was
- 7:43Speaker 1: he walking by the auto pen machine and had Brian
- 7:45Speaker 1: Cole's name on it and he accidentally hit the button?
- 7:48Speaker 1: What are you talking about? He accidentally pardoned Brian Cole Jr.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Look at this. This is a real headline. Check this
- 7:53Speaker 1: out from Politico. Trump may have accidentally pardoned the January
- 7:58Speaker 1: 6th pipe bomber.
- 8:01Speaker 2: What?
- 8:01Speaker 1: So. You start to wonder what the hell are they
- 8:04Speaker 1: even talking about? So what they hang their hat on
- 8:07Speaker 1: is the fact that President Trump upheld a campaign promise
- 8:11Speaker 1: to pardon the defendants on January 6th, 2021. Anybody that
- 8:18Speaker 1: the Biden administration went after and tried to destroy their
- 8:21Speaker 1: life tyrannically just because they wanted to hurt Trump supporters,
- 8:25Speaker 1: imprison them, lock them up for months on end. They
- 8:28Speaker 1: were left with nothing but the ability to sing the
- 8:31Speaker 1: national anthem to each other each evening from their jail cells.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Donald Trump gave a pardon to all of these people
- 8:39Speaker 1: because he ran on it and then he fulfilled that
- 8:42Speaker 1: promise as soon as he got into office. Politico is
- 8:45Speaker 1: now hoping that the pipe bomber can walk free on
- 8:50Speaker 1: that basis. Now, this is insanity for any number of reasons.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But one of the clearest ones, one of the clearest
- 9:00Speaker 1: ones is ready for this. Even Politico's piece quotes the pardon.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Trump's proclamation commuted the sentences of 14 individuals and also granted, quote,
- 9:10Speaker 1: a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all other individuals
- 9:15Speaker 1: convicted of offenses related to events that occurred at or
- 9:19Speaker 1: near the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: want to reiterate something. On January 6th, 2021, for those
- 9:33Speaker 1: of you playing along, we've been following this story closely
- 9:37Speaker 1: enough to know the details. When did Brian Cole Jr.
- 9:41Speaker 1: plant the bombs? Which day? Which date? I'll wait as
- 9:45Speaker 1: you process that. January 5th. Thank you. The shadow has it.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Thank you. The shadow knows. Remember that? The shadow knows.
- 9:56Speaker 1: The shadow does know. It was January 5th. that the
- 10:00Speaker 1: pipe bombs were placed. So the pardon wouldn't even apply.
- 10:03Speaker 1: The text of the pardon, the plain syntax of the pardon,
- 10:08Speaker 1: says on January 6th. It was like idiocy. The other
- 10:10Speaker 1: piece here is that in this case, Brian Cole Jr.,
- 10:17Speaker 1: when he sat down with authorities, He straight up said
- 10:22Speaker 1: that his actions had nothing to do with the congressional
- 10:27Speaker 1: proceedings the next day. Who said that? The suspect said that.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So in what world would a pardon that applies to
- 10:36Speaker 1: the events that occurred on January 6th related specifically to
- 10:40Speaker 1: the United States Capitol building? In what world would that
- 10:44Speaker 1: apply to Brian Coltrane? It wouldn't. Now, am I saying
- 10:47Speaker 1: that some left wing judge is not going to buy
- 10:49Speaker 1: this convoluted logic? No, I'm not saying that at all.
- 10:52Speaker 1: We've seen that kind of garbage happen over and over
- 10:55Speaker 1: and over again. And this may be a big assist
- 10:58Speaker 1: from Politico as the defense team for Brian Cole Jr.
- 11:01Speaker 1: tries to find some way to get their guy out
- 11:03Speaker 1: of this. But I'm telling you, this is I mean,
- 11:06Speaker 1: isn't it amazing? So the left. who goes on a
- 11:09Speaker 1: jihad against every grandma who waved an American flag inside
- 11:13Speaker 1: of their own Capitol building on January 6th now is
- 11:15Speaker 1: working overtime once again to say, stop focusing on the
- 11:19Speaker 1: pipe bomber, let them go free. What is this? It's
- 11:22Speaker 1: like the Ray Epps thing all over again. It was like,
- 11:24Speaker 1: why wasn't that guy arrested? Why he's yelling for everybody
- 11:27Speaker 1: to go on the Capitol. What is that all about?
- 11:28Speaker 1: And then the media goes full time in defense of
- 11:31Speaker 1: that guy.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I thought the whole point was, You guys are trying
- 11:36Speaker 1: to absolutely crush any Trump supporter wherever you can find them.
- 11:39Speaker 1: And then, you know, the second, you know, you see
- 11:42Speaker 1: you take somebody into custody, you drop some couple of
- 11:44Speaker 1: pipe bombs. You're like, no, this guy needs to go free.
- 11:48Speaker 1: You walk me through this. Exactly. Walk me through this.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Brian Cole Jr., by the way, no Trump supporter. He
- 11:52Speaker 1: said he detested both political parties. And that's again, he
- 11:56Speaker 1: was telling authorities this. And then he planted the pipe bombs.
- 12:00Speaker 1: But in case you're wondering, are they still delusional about
- 12:03Speaker 1: January 6th? Hell yeah. To this very day, they're still
- 12:06Speaker 1: pumping this. And lastly, on this thing about Politico, you know, remember, like,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you wondered to yourself, was there ever a time that
- 12:17Speaker 1: Politico has lied to us? Like, maybe, Vince, maybe I
- 12:18Speaker 1: should trust Politico. Maybe they're right about this. Let's see.
- 12:22Speaker 1: How about this one? Do you remember this one? Justin,
- 12:24Speaker 1: will you put this on screen for me? Remember this story?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's story is Russian disinformation, dozens of former intel
- 12:31Speaker 1: officials say. Yeah, I'm not sure I reflexively trust Politico
- 12:36Speaker 1: on any of this. It's like, you know who's probably
- 12:40Speaker 1: going to get away with it? The pipe bomber. Yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 1: because Trump pardoned him. Yeah, sure. That makes a lot
- 12:45Speaker 1: of sense. That makes no sense, actually, whatsoever. But that
- 12:50Speaker 1: is what's going on. Just to keep you apprised, which,
- 12:53Speaker 1: of course, is my job. We're keeping you apprised. All right.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Let's see what else is going on other than the
- 12:58Speaker 1: insanity of January 6th. We've got– well, let me get
- 13:05Speaker 1: to Maduro. Maduro showed up in– speaking of the justice system,
- 13:08Speaker 1: Maduro showed up in a New York City courtroom yesterday,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and he pled not guilty to all of these various charges.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And he was saying, I'm the leader of a country.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I'm the leader of a country. First of all, you're
- 13:19Speaker 1: not the leader of anything. Even in the first Trump administration,
- 13:22Speaker 1: you guys remember– President Trump didn't even recognize him as
- 13:25Speaker 1: the leader of Venezuela. Juan Guaido, who remembers that name?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Juan Guaido was recognized as the official leader of Venezuela
- 13:32Speaker 1: by the Trump administration then. And in this current Trump administration,
- 13:36Speaker 1: they've outright declared, because it's true, that he was fraudulently
- 13:41Speaker 1: acting as the president of Venezuela. So any claim that
- 13:43Speaker 1: we captured the leader of Venezuela is already on its
- 13:47Speaker 1: face broken. It's just false. This guy was a guy
- 13:50Speaker 1: who occupied, occupied the position of power inside of Venezuela unlawfully.
- 13:57Speaker 1: It wasn't with the consent of the governed. They have
- 13:58Speaker 1: a democracy there, nominally, and he seized control of power
- 14:02Speaker 1: without consent of the governed. And so he shows up
- 14:05Speaker 1: in court yesterday and he's whining, I'm the leader of Venezuela.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I was captured at my home. Uh-huh. Got it, buddy.
- 14:12Speaker 1: And that said, this guy was stunned, apparently, by our
- 14:20Speaker 1: justice system. He had no idea that in our justice
- 14:24Speaker 1: system that he might be entitled to any sorts of
- 14:26Speaker 1: rights in the process. Watch this cut from yesterday as
- 14:32Speaker 1: a Fox analyst breaks this down. Maduro stunned by how
- 14:36Speaker 1: generous the United States is being to him. Cut one. Interestingly,
- 14:39Speaker 1: he said after the judge read him a version.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Of Miranda rights and included the fact that he had
- 14:43Speaker 3: the right to potentially be released on bail. Maduro said
- 14:47Speaker 3: he was unaware of those rights, and it struck me
- 14:50Speaker 3: that he's coming from a very different legal system because
- 14:53Speaker 3: it seemed like he had never even conjured the notion
- 14:57Speaker 3: that he's entitled to an attorney, he may be able
- 14:59Speaker 3: to apply for bail, and he has the right to
- 15:02Speaker 3: stay silent. He has the right that none of the
- 15:06Speaker 3: material that he has said outside the purview of counsel
- 15:09Speaker 3: necessarily has to come in. So it was interesting to
- 15:12Speaker 3: see him sort of taking that in in a system
- 15:14Speaker 3: very different from the one I'm sure he's used to.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He was like stunned. He's like, wait a second. People
- 15:23Speaker 1: are entitled to rights? What is this? That's because Maduro
- 15:26Speaker 1: doesn't govern things like this. I mean, people are eating
- 15:29Speaker 1: zoo animals because they don't have access to anything in Venezuela.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Eight million people at least have fled that country in desperation.
- 15:37Speaker 1: because of Maduro and before that Hugo Chavez's tyrannical rule.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And so he's being given, I'm telling you what, I've
- 15:44Speaker 1: been saying this and I'll continue to say this, the
- 15:46Speaker 1: Trump administration is being awfully nice to this guy. The
- 15:48Speaker 1: fact that we sent Delta Force there as a chauffeur
- 15:52Speaker 1: service is pretty decent of us. We didn't put a
- 15:56Speaker 1: bullet in his head. We put him in a helicopter.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Who gets to fly in a helicopter? That's pretty cool.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Imagine getting to fly in a helicopter. They put him
- 16:02Speaker 1: on a helicopter. They fly into the United States. He gets,
- 16:05Speaker 1: you know, he's surrounded. He's got a security detail. Everybody
- 16:08Speaker 1: brings him in. They bring him into a New York
- 16:09Speaker 1: City courtroom. They even Marco Rubio said they read him
- 16:12Speaker 1: his rights when they took him into custody. We're pretty
- 16:14Speaker 1: decent country. That's over the top generosity on our part.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And then we put him before a judge and then
- 16:20Speaker 1: he gets to have his rights in a court of law. Now,
- 16:22Speaker 1: from my perspective, this guy's out of control. He's killed
- 16:25Speaker 1: a lot of Americans. He's absolutely been dastardly. He's been
- 16:28Speaker 1: working with all these authoritarian regimes. He's been empowering China.
- 16:32Speaker 1: It's been a complete disaster. I'd be perfectly happy with
- 16:35Speaker 1: us just dropping him off in Gitmo and forgetting an
- 16:37Speaker 1: entire legal process for him. Because in my view, look,
- 16:41Speaker 1: the American Constitution is for American citizens. I think it's
- 16:45Speaker 1: pretty straightforward. But we're a decent country. And so we're
- 16:49Speaker 1: affording him rights in a court of law. He's going
- 16:51Speaker 1: through it right now. Fine. But man, that's President Trump
- 16:55Speaker 1: for you. Speaking of the guy, he's trampling the Constitution
- 16:58Speaker 1: and the rule of law. No, he's following it to
- 17:01Speaker 1: the T. He's even giving Maduro... his day in court,
- 17:05Speaker 1: which Maduro was stunned by. So kind of fascinating to
- 17:09Speaker 1: watch all that because it's like this guy is not
- 17:12Speaker 1: accustomed to this at all. He was actually, you could tell,
- 17:15Speaker 1: he was fully stunned that he's being shown these courtesies
- 17:20Speaker 1: at all. Pretty amazing. Oil tankers, by the way, are
- 17:24Speaker 1: trying to break through the blockade outside of Venezuela because
- 17:28Speaker 1: President Trump's got an armada there and he's blocking everything
- 17:32Speaker 1: up At least 15 U.S. sanctioned oil tankers have reportedly
- 17:37Speaker 1: been breaking through the blockade. What they do is they've
- 17:39Speaker 1: been going into something called dark mode tactics and they've
- 17:43Speaker 1: been trying to skirt the ships. They paint names of
- 17:45Speaker 1: decommissioned vessels on their halls. They misrepresent their positions. They're
- 17:50Speaker 1: trying to leave in coordinated fashions to escape the blockade.
- 17:52Speaker 1: They're being tracked by U.S. satellites. I love how these
- 17:56Speaker 1: guys think they're just going to get away. We I mean,
- 17:59Speaker 1: we can see when like a fly takes off. You
- 18:01Speaker 1: know what I mean? We can track bee populations with
- 18:04Speaker 1: our technology. I'm pretty sure we're keeping an eye on
- 18:07Speaker 1: these ships, whether or not they get through the blockade.
- 18:09Speaker 1: But they all try and leave en masse. But this
- 18:12Speaker 1: is amazing for a million reasons. But I tell you what,
- 18:15Speaker 1: this is something I was saying yesterday. I'll reiterate today.
- 18:17Speaker 1: This is amazing because what we've done is we've shut
- 18:20Speaker 1: down the world's gas station for authoritarian regimes. We've shut
- 18:25Speaker 1: it down. This is a massive, massive deal. Cuba is
- 18:30Speaker 1: absolutely struggling right now trying to figure out what they're
- 18:33Speaker 1: going to do. You've got China, which has been taking
- 18:37Speaker 1: so much of this oil. Key adversary on the planet.
- 18:40Speaker 1: You want to talk about the big adversary? It's China.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It's China. This disempowers them. And China, of course, has
- 18:46Speaker 1: been working at our expense immensely. And so if we're
- 18:50Speaker 1: going to be in a world where we defend American interests,
- 18:52Speaker 1: it's certainly... to stop China from buying underpriced illicit oil
- 18:57Speaker 1: on the black market in order to hurt us. That's
- 19:01Speaker 1: a huge deal. So, look, this has been obviously very dramatic.
- 19:06Speaker 1: It's been an historic event. But President Trump is navigating
- 19:10Speaker 1: it right now. And I think, you know, just like
- 19:13Speaker 1: a lot of this stuff, he's just got to place
- 19:14Speaker 1: trust that he's handling it the right way. And they're
- 19:17Speaker 1: doing everything they can to make it so that this
- 19:20Speaker 1: guy sees justice and that the Venezuelan people restore their
- 19:24Speaker 1: historic traditions of democratic governance and this ultimately and most
- 19:28Speaker 1: importantly serves the interests of the american people that's what
- 19:31Speaker 1: this is all about and if there's anybody who can
- 19:34Speaker 1: handle that juggling act handle juggling those chainsaws it's donald
- 19:38Speaker 1: trump he definitely who else pick somebody else it's that
- 19:43Speaker 1: guy all right more in a moment Tim Walz is
- 19:46Speaker 1: bowing out. He said, I'm out, I'm out. I'm not
- 19:48Speaker 1: running for governor anymore because I gotta spend more time
- 19:50Speaker 1: hunting down the criminals, he claims. And he's got a
- 19:53Speaker 1: big character witness who's come out to support him. Thinks
- 19:56Speaker 1: he's a great guy. You will not be surprised by
- 19:58Speaker 1: his character witness. And I'm pretty sure it was unsolicited endorsement,
- 20:02Speaker 1: which Tim Walz may be regretting. More in a moment. Hey,
- 20:05Speaker 1: owning a home is a totally amazing thing. Totally amazing
- 20:08Speaker 1: thing until it's not Until it's not. One minute, you're
- 20:11Speaker 1: enjoying that morning coffee. Love my morning coffee. But then
- 20:14Speaker 1: the next, you're ankle deep in water from a pipe
- 20:17Speaker 1: that just burst in your house. That's not good. Repairs,
- 20:20Speaker 1: they never care about your timing. They definitely don't care
- 20:22Speaker 1: about your budget. Look, you protect your health, your car,
- 20:25Speaker 1: even your phone. But what about your home? It's probably
- 20:27Speaker 1: your biggest investment. And when something breaks, it can cost
- 20:30Speaker 1: you big time. That's where HomeSurf comes in. Regular homeowner's insurance,
- 20:33Speaker 1: it might not cover the everyday breakdowns, like a furnace
- 20:35Speaker 1: failure or a broken light switch or a busted water heater. Ugh.
- 20:39Speaker 1: But HomeServe, they offer plans that do help to cover
- 20:42Speaker 1: those kinds of repairs. It's like a subscription for your home,
- 20:44Speaker 1: and it starts at just $ 4. 99 a month. That's a
- 20:48Speaker 1: great deal for peace of mind. Help protect your home
- 20:52Speaker 1: systems and your wallet with HomeServe against covered repairs. Plans
- 20:56Speaker 1: start at just $ 4.
- 20:57Speaker 3: 99 a month.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You can go to HomeServe.com to find a plan that's
- 20:59Speaker 1: right for you. That's it. Just go to HomeServe.com. It's
- 21:03Speaker 1: not available everywhere. Most plans range between $ 4. 99 to $ 11. 99
- 21:05Speaker 1: a month your first year. Terms apply on covered repairs.
- 21:10Speaker 1: See homeserve.com for details. Tampon Tim Walls has decided to
- 21:19Speaker 1: wave with both hands and leave the governor's race in Minnesota.
- 21:23Speaker 1: By the way, does that guy not have the weirdest
- 21:25Speaker 1: hand gestures you've ever seen? There's only one other guy
- 21:28Speaker 1: who's got perhaps even weirder hand gestures, and that would
- 21:32Speaker 1: be greasy Gavin Newsom from California. You know him? Gavin
- 21:37Speaker 1: Newsom always looks like he's milking an imaginary cow he's
- 21:41Speaker 1: doing the he's doing the cow milking thing he's like
- 21:43Speaker 1: moving his hands gesticulating yeah he's he's milking imaginary cows
- 21:47Speaker 1: Tim Walz is doing spirit fingers and waving with both
- 21:49Speaker 1: arms and those guys are supposed to be the avatars
- 21:52Speaker 1: for masculinity on the left at any rate Gavin Newsom
- 21:59Speaker 1: has decided to endorse Tim Walz Gavin Newsom greasy Gavin
- 22:04Speaker 1: Newsom dove in yesterday to thank Tim Walls as his
- 22:08Speaker 1: time as governor of Minnesota. Gavin Newsom wrote this on
- 22:11Speaker 1: his stupid ex account. He wrote, Tim Walls is a
- 22:14Speaker 1: man of character, strength, and compassion. He has served Minnesota
- 22:20Speaker 1: with heart and dignity. Everything about this is a lie.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Minnesota and America is better off thanks to his lifelong
- 22:28Speaker 1: public service. Wishing him all the best in this next chapter.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Thank you, Tim Walls. America and Minnesota are way worse
- 22:39Speaker 1: off because of Tim Walz. Tim Walz is not a
- 22:42Speaker 1: man of character. He's a scumbag and a liar. Tim
- 22:46Speaker 1: Walz is not a man of strength. He's a man
- 22:48Speaker 1: of weakness. Tim Walz is not a man of compassion.
- 22:52Speaker 1: He's a man of villainy and cruelty. Tim Walz has
- 22:56Speaker 1: enabled some of the most destructive fraud in our entire
- 23:03Speaker 1: country's history. We're looking at upwards of $ 19 billion, and
- 23:08Speaker 1: perhaps that's a low figure, stolen from you and from
- 23:11Speaker 1: me and from the people of Minnesota on Tim Walz's
- 23:14Speaker 1: watch and clearly with his implied approval at the very least.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Spare us. The whole thing is so stupid. But a
- 23:23Speaker 1: character endorsement from greasy Gavin Newsom is probably the cherry
- 23:28Speaker 1: on top of all of this. So who loves Tim Walz?
- 23:31Speaker 1: Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom.
- 23:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Tim Walls. Walls is on the way out. Walls did
- 23:39Speaker 1: a press conference yesterday. And when he did his presser
- 23:43Speaker 1: to announce that he's stepping aside, you would think that
- 23:46Speaker 1: you were like, hey, I'm not going to be the
- 23:47Speaker 1: governor anymore. I'm not running for office anymore. You think
- 23:50Speaker 1: maybe you would, you know, answer a couple of questions
- 23:53Speaker 1: about that subject. Walls took no questions. Here he is.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Watch.
- 23:58Speaker 2: No one's taking this away from us. Not the fraudsters.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Certainly not this president. Not on my watch. Tomorrow, I'll
- 24:07Speaker 2: be back with you. I'll give you an update on
- 24:09Speaker 2: America's best paid family medical leave program that is now
- 24:12Speaker 2: a week into it. And at that time, I'll take
- 24:14Speaker 2: all your questions. Thank you all.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I thought you were going to take questions. By the way,
- 24:37Speaker 1: that video keeps going and going and going. It's just
- 24:39Speaker 1: reporters all grumpy. They're like, I thought this was a
- 24:42Speaker 1: press conference. What the hell was that? So you tell me.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I said this yesterday, and I'll reiterate it here. You
- 24:48Speaker 1: tell me. You think Walls is leaving on his own terms?
- 24:52Speaker 1: You think Walls is leaving because everything is great, that
- 24:55Speaker 1: he's just got to double down on excellence? You think
- 24:57Speaker 1: Walls is leaving because I don't want to be distracted
- 25:00Speaker 1: by politics. I just got to focus on the excellence
- 25:02Speaker 1: of the, of the people of Minnesota. You really think
- 25:05Speaker 1: that's why he's leaving? No, of course not. Nobody thinks that.
- 25:08Speaker 1: He's leaving under a storm cloud. This guy is leaving
- 25:12Speaker 1: because the Democrats are giving him the heave-ho. He's a
- 25:14Speaker 1: huge liability going into the midterms. The last thing they
- 25:17Speaker 1: need is this cartoonish Elmer Fudd goofball who has led
- 25:22Speaker 1: to this massive fraud in America being front and center
- 25:25Speaker 1: in the American consciousness leading up to the midterms. That's
- 25:27Speaker 1: the last thing that they need. Additionally, who's to say
- 25:31Speaker 1: that he doesn't get prosecuted soon And who's to say
- 25:34Speaker 1: that he's not aware that the walls are closing in?
- 25:37Speaker 1: The walls are closing in. It certainly feels that way.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And if anybody deserves it, it's him. The Minnesota U.S. attorney,
- 25:44Speaker 1: by the way, is very clear that he's tackling fraud.
- 25:48Speaker 1: He just did a huge press conference on the subject.
- 25:51Speaker 1: And Tim Walz certainly deserves it. And Walz isn't alone.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You know who else deserves it? Gavin Newsom and every
- 25:58Speaker 1: one of these other Democrat governors who are operating their
- 26:01Speaker 1: states with utter impunity. and letting fraud run rampant. In fact,
- 26:09Speaker 1: here's what President Trump had to say on the subject
- 26:12Speaker 1: this morning. You ready for this? Here's a Truth Social post, 8.21
- 26:15Speaker 1: Eastern time this morning. President Trump on Greasy Gavin Newsom.
- 26:19Speaker 1: He says this, California under Governor Gavin Newsom is more
- 26:24Speaker 1: corrupt than Minnesota, if that's even possible. Three question marks.
- 26:29Speaker 1: The fraud investigation of California has begun. Thank you for
- 26:34Speaker 1: your attention to this matter, President Donald J.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Trump.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Oh, but no, the president's not allowed to tell the
- 26:42Speaker 1: Justice Department to investigate things like this. Yeah, you're not
- 26:47Speaker 1: in any way familiar with Article 2 of the Constitution. Yes,
- 26:50Speaker 1: he is. He's in charge of the United States Department
- 26:52Speaker 1: of Justice. If he detects criminality, he can order the
- 26:55Speaker 1: Justice Department to investigate it. That's his right as the
- 26:59Speaker 1: duly elected president of the United States. You only vote
- 27:03Speaker 1: for that guy. him and the vice president of the
- 27:04Speaker 1: United States. Those are the two. He's in charge and
- 27:08Speaker 1: he's ordered an investigation into the state of California. Good, good.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And cut them off and please, for the love of God,
- 27:17Speaker 1: impose consequences. Impose real consequences. I'm talking handcuffs, orange jumpsuits,
- 27:25Speaker 1: jail time for people, not just the people who committed
- 27:28Speaker 1: this fraud, but the people who enabled it to advance
- 27:30Speaker 1: their political careers. I mean, the reality is in Minnesota,
- 27:34Speaker 1: for instance, not only is Tim Walz the governor and
- 27:36Speaker 1: he's been taking money from these fraudulent operations, Ilhan Omar
- 27:40Speaker 1: taking money from these fraudulent operations, but also you got
- 27:42Speaker 1: the attorney general of the state, Keith Ellison. You know,
- 27:45Speaker 1: Keith Ellison is caught on tape. Keith Ellison, the attorney general,
- 27:50Speaker 1: was caught on tape. Talking to his donors who were.
- 27:56Speaker 1: a part of fraud convictions in the food scam, telling
- 28:00Speaker 1: them that he would protect them. This is all on tape.
- 28:04Speaker 1: There's audio of all of this. Sounds like evidence to
- 28:08Speaker 1: me and a predicate for imposing legal consequences on people
- 28:13Speaker 1: like Keith Ellison and anybody else who's committed this kind
- 28:16Speaker 1: of crime against the American people. All right, coming up,
- 28:21Speaker 1: Michael Knowles is going to join us. I want to
- 28:23Speaker 1: ask him about the ongoing, well, pattern of trans violence
- 28:28Speaker 1: in the country did you see that jd vance's house
- 28:31Speaker 1: in ohio was just attacked by another transgender lunatic how
- 28:37Speaker 1: much of this i mean at what point do we
- 28:39Speaker 1: have a a big national conversation about trans violence you
- 28:43Speaker 1: know how often do we see schools being attacked by
- 28:47Speaker 1: people who've been overtaken by this demonic ideology we just
- 28:51Speaker 1: saw a guy killed charlie kirk who's boyfriend was some
- 28:55Speaker 1: sort of furry trans something. Again, this just keeps happening.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Are we going to put a stop to it? Are
- 29:03Speaker 1: we going to actually like, you know, speaking of being
- 29:05Speaker 1: empathetic and being compassionate, are we actually going to intervene
- 29:09Speaker 1: or are we just going to keep affirming delusions until
- 29:11Speaker 1: they manifest themselves in the most violent and destructive possible ways?
- 29:16Speaker 1: I'll talk to Michael Knowles in a minute about that.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Can't wait to do that. But first, our great sponsors
- 29:20Speaker 1: keep this program going. That includes Brickhouse Nutrition. They're phenomenal.
- 29:25Speaker 1: You know, this time of year, a lot of people
- 29:27Speaker 1: are really thinking clearly about their health and sincerely, which
- 29:30Speaker 1: is great. It's always worth thinking clearly about your health.
- 29:33Speaker 1: And a lot of Americans, they go through this process
- 29:35Speaker 1: of weight cycling where they'll lose weight, like 10 pounds,
- 29:39Speaker 1: but then they put the weight back on and they
- 29:41Speaker 1: keep doing that. And that's tough on your body. It
- 29:43Speaker 1: probably leaves you really frustrated when you're doing it. It
- 29:45Speaker 1: makes you want to give up. Well, I'm telling you,
- 29:47Speaker 1: there's a great way to not give up and to succeed.
- 29:50Speaker 1: And that's with the help of non-prescription lean by brick
- 29:53Speaker 1: cast nutrition. It was created by doctors. Lean is an
- 29:56Speaker 1: oral supplement, not an injection. And the science is very impressive.
- 29:59Speaker 1: the studied ingredients also target weight loss in three very
- 30:02Speaker 1: powerful ways. Lean helps maintain healthy blood sugar, it helps
- 30:05Speaker 1: you control your appetite and your cravings, and it helps
- 30:07Speaker 1: you burn fat by converting it into energy. And burning fat, well,
- 30:11Speaker 1: that helps you keep your weight off, of course. And
- 30:13Speaker 1: if you want to lose meaningful weight at a healthy
- 30:16Speaker 1: pace and then keep it off, just add lean. Add
- 30:19Speaker 1: lean by BrickHouse Nutrition, right to your diet and your
- 30:21Speaker 1: exercise lifestyle. You get 20% off when you enter the
- 30:24Speaker 1: code VINCE at takelean.com. That's code VINCE. at TakeLean.com. These
- 30:31Speaker 1: statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product
- 30:33Speaker 1: is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease,
- 30:37Speaker 1: and it's not a substitute or alternative for care from
- 30:40Speaker 1: a healthcare provider. Thank you, BrickHouse. Great guys. Really great.
- 30:45Speaker 1: And American Finance, a great sponsor of this program, and
- 30:48Speaker 1: they are, but they're a great rescue operation for people
- 30:51Speaker 1: who are dealing with the credit card bills and the
- 30:53Speaker 1: out-of-control financing rates. If you're worried about upcoming credit card bills,
- 30:58Speaker 1: stuff that you've accrued since the holidays. If you're a homeowner,
- 31:02Speaker 1: there's no better time than right now to call American Financing,
- 31:04Speaker 1: and you can wipe out that debt and eliminate the
- 31:07Speaker 1: stress and set yourself up for a very strong 2026.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You see, the Fed dropped rates for the fourth time
- 31:13Speaker 1: in December, and American Financing can now help you access
- 31:16Speaker 1: the equity that's in your home at an interest rate
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the low fives. Yeah, in the low fives. That's
- 31:22Speaker 1: a much lower rate than the average 20% or more
- 31:26Speaker 1: for credit cards. Crazy. American Financing is saving their customers
- 31:30Speaker 1: an average of $ 800 a month. Now, that's huge because
- 31:32Speaker 1: that's like a $ 10, 000 raise to start the new year.
- 31:36Speaker 1: There are no upfront fees, no obligation. You can see
- 31:38Speaker 1: how much you can save. They're closing some in as
- 31:41Speaker 1: fast as 10 days, and they're even delaying two mortgage payments.
- 31:45Speaker 1: American Financing is America's home for home loans. So call today.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It's 888-879-6460. That's 888-879-6460. American financing dot net slash fence.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Thanks to American financing. OK. Joining me now, I'm happy
- 32:03Speaker 1: to have back with us Michael Knowles. He's from The
- 32:07Speaker 1: Daily Wire, of course. You can see his Michael Knowles
- 32:10Speaker 1: show every day as well. Michael, great to have you
- 32:12Speaker 1: with us back on the program, sir. Good to see you.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Merry Christmas.
- 32:16Speaker 5: Happy January 6th, which Christians call the Feast of the
- 32:19Speaker 5: Epiphany and liberals call the worst day in the history
- 32:22Speaker 5: of this or any republic.
- 32:24Speaker 1: So however you celebrate, you know, happy, happy day. It is.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 32:27Speaker 1: No, I was I started the show by saying it's
- 32:29Speaker 1: one of the high holy days of the left for sure, because,
- 32:32Speaker 1: you know, they're hanging their covid masks all over their houses. OK,
- 32:36Speaker 1: so let's let's talk about this attack on J.D. Vance's home.
- 32:40Speaker 1: This is what I'm interested in in your thoughts on this,
- 32:42Speaker 1: because because we just got news yesterday that J.D. Vance,
- 32:46Speaker 1: although he wasn't at his house in Ohio, it is
- 32:48Speaker 1: protected by the Secret Service. And some lunatic who has,
- 32:52Speaker 1: you know, the characteristic serial killer eyes. went to the
- 32:56Speaker 1: house with a hammer, smashed a Secret Service vehicle, then
- 33:00Speaker 1: walked up to the windows of the house and began
- 33:02Speaker 1: smashing the windows. And finally, I guess the sleepy Secret
- 33:05Speaker 1: Service agents who were tasked with defending the property finally
- 33:08Speaker 1: showed up, took him into custody. Here's the update on this.
- 33:11Speaker 1: The guy calls himself Julia. He's transgender. And his parents
- 33:17Speaker 1: are both pediatricians who happen to be maxed out Democrat donors.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Are you surprised by any of this, Michael Knowles?
- 33:25Speaker 5: Vince, it's always the ones you most expect that. I
- 33:28Speaker 5: think that's a good rule of thumb to live by.
- 33:30Speaker 5: It's always the ones you most expect. And so, you know,
- 33:34Speaker 5: we were talking about a month or so ago before
- 33:36Speaker 5: Christmas about trans violence, which really came to the public
- 33:40Speaker 5: for with the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the subsequent
- 33:44Speaker 5: justification and celebration on the left and more left wing
- 33:47Speaker 5: violence since then. But there do seem to be some
- 33:50Speaker 5: common themes. Violence is much more likely to be justified
- 33:54Speaker 5: and perpetrated by ideological leftists.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Than by the right.
- 33:57Speaker 5: It's not even close. Even the left-wing outlets like The
- 33:59Speaker 5: Atlantic are admitting that now. Violence is much more likely
- 34:02Speaker 5: to be carried out by people who have psychological problems,
- 34:04Speaker 5: especially including transgenderism, than people who are normal and who
- 34:09Speaker 5: accept who they are. That's undeniable at this point as well.
- 34:13Speaker 5: And so then the only question becomes, are we going
- 34:15Speaker 5: to do anything about it? 20 years ago, this would
- 34:18Speaker 5: not have been a controversial point at all. Yeah, if
- 34:21Speaker 5: a guy doesn't know what his sex is or if
- 34:23Speaker 5: he thinks he's the opposite sex, he's probably got a
- 34:26Speaker 5: skewed perception of the world. and he's probably more likely
- 34:28Speaker 5: to behave in psychotic ways. This is the premise of
- 34:31Speaker 5: like every horror movie ever. This is Psycho. This is
- 34:34Speaker 5: Silence of the Lambs. This is Hannibal Lecter and all
- 34:38Speaker 5: the rest of it. So, you know, we all understood that.
- 34:41Speaker 5: And now we have just willfully denied the reality that
- 34:44Speaker 5: we've always kind of known. The question for us now,
- 34:48Speaker 5: and frankly, this gets into the Maduro raid. This gets
- 34:51Speaker 5: into the shift in foreign policy. This gets into the
- 34:53Speaker 5: way we're talking about immigration. To me, the big political
- 34:55Speaker 5: shift is, are we going to acknowledge reality and do
- 35:00Speaker 5: something about it, or are we going to keep playing
- 35:03Speaker 5: pretend on our domestic fantasies, our sexual fantasies, and our
- 35:06Speaker 5: foreign policy fantasies? I think reality is winning right now, happily,
- 35:10Speaker 5: but that's the big shift.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think reality is winning. I
- 35:14Speaker 1: think the right, as much as there's so many people
- 35:17Speaker 1: who are pessimistic on the right for any number of reasons,
- 35:19Speaker 1: should acknowledge the victories that we've had, meaningful ones, when
- 35:22Speaker 1: it comes to issues like the transgender delusions or the
- 35:25Speaker 1: war on cops or borders or any of these other
- 35:27Speaker 1: big issues. We've had a lot of victories, definitely. But
- 35:30Speaker 1: the problem we continue to have is we have increasingly
- 35:34Speaker 1: thin margins, for instance, in the House. We're dealing with
- 35:36Speaker 1: the Democrats who continue to have way too much power
- 35:39Speaker 1: in this country. And the Democrats are operating under a
- 35:42Speaker 1: completely incoherent worldview. Everything about it is incoherent. They'll condemn
- 35:48Speaker 1: Americans for living on stolen land. And then when we
- 35:51Speaker 1: go back and try and reclaim American energy companies in Venezuela,
- 35:54Speaker 1: they pretend it's Venezuelan. So, I mean, it's like There's
- 35:56Speaker 1: no coherence to this. They tell you that January 6th,
- 35:59Speaker 1: grandma's waving flags inside the Capitol building are evil villains.
- 36:03Speaker 1: But anyone who tries to convince someone they were born
- 36:05Speaker 1: in the wrong body is just doing something totally normal.
- 36:07Speaker 1: So how do we have debates or anything approaching improvement
- 36:13Speaker 1: when you've got an entire political party dedicated to that poison? Well,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I think we should recognize, yes.
- 36:20Speaker 5: Apparently, there is no cohesion here between, say, the LGBT
- 36:25Speaker 5: crowd and the pro-Hamas crowd or whatever, whether we're talking
- 36:29Speaker 5: about Venezuela and the Lakota Sioux, same principle. But there
- 36:32Speaker 5: is at a very deep level a simple coherence, which
- 36:36Speaker 5: is they all have a common enemy. And the common
- 36:38Speaker 5: enemy is America. The common enemy is the church. The
- 36:42Speaker 5: common enemy is the West generally.
- 36:44Speaker 1: That's it.
- 36:45Speaker 5: That's the common enemy. And so that's how you're going
- 36:47Speaker 5: to get Greta Thunberg marching around in a Palestinian keffiyeh.
- 36:51Speaker 5: And it kind of makes sense because they don't agree
- 36:53Speaker 5: with each other on a lot, but they do have
- 36:54Speaker 5: a common enemy. And so I think we need to
- 36:56Speaker 5: think about politics in that kind of practical way as well.
- 37:00Speaker 5: In these periods where you have a unified government, as
- 37:03Speaker 5: we do right now on the right, there's often a
- 37:06Speaker 5: lot of infighting. And there's more infighting on the right
- 37:07Speaker 5: because we're more ideologically diverse than the left, which is progressives,
- 37:11Speaker 5: super progressives, and John Fetterman.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Otherwise, they're pretty much all on the same team. And
- 37:15Speaker 1: we less tyrannically enforce these views. I mean, we actually
- 37:18Speaker 1: have more spirited debates, whereas the left will primary you
- 37:22Speaker 1: into nonexistence if you dare say that securing the border
- 37:25Speaker 1: is good.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Yes, unlike in America broadly, when it comes to ideological coalitions,
- 37:30Speaker 5: diversity actually is our strength, and we have benefited from
- 37:34Speaker 5: that because it allows us to react to changing circumstances.
- 37:36Speaker 1: But it does mean that at the.
- 37:38Speaker 5: End of the day, when we're going to the ballot box,
- 37:40Speaker 5: when we're bringing ballot watchers to make sure there's no
- 37:43Speaker 5: fraud– we've seen a lot of fraud recently– when that happens,
- 37:46Speaker 5: we do need to unify. Politics– is about results. It's
- 37:51Speaker 5: about actually getting things done in a real community. And
- 37:53Speaker 5: this is where we could learn a lot from Mr.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Cocaine Mitch McConnell, even though he's not so popular on
- 37:58Speaker 5: the right right now. He made at least one very
- 38:00Speaker 5: good observation, which is the winners make laws and the
- 38:04Speaker 5: losers go home. And so all the debates and the
- 38:08Speaker 5: introspection can all be very, very good. But we do
- 38:11Speaker 5: have to keep our eyes on the prize because if
- 38:12Speaker 5: we lose, especially if we lose unified government eventually, they
- 38:16Speaker 5: are going to ship us to gulags. They're going to
- 38:18Speaker 5: treat us much worse than Trump treated Maduro.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Amen. I totally agree with you. And by the way,
- 38:23Speaker 1: there are seasons for debates. So usually in the wake
- 38:26Speaker 1: of an election, that's the perfect time to have that
- 38:28Speaker 1: sort of intraparty debate about what the future holds. And
- 38:31Speaker 1: then you saddle up on some of those scores. And
- 38:33Speaker 1: then you move on to unity as you head towards
- 38:35Speaker 1: an election, because in the end, the left is playing
- 38:37Speaker 1: for keeps, as you point out. It's a it's a
- 38:39Speaker 1: power scenario for them. And we should recognize it in
- 38:42Speaker 1: the same way, which is it's we need power because
- 38:44Speaker 1: we're trying to restore decency, law and order to our country.
- 38:48Speaker 5: Yes, you know, look, it's great to write white papers.
- 38:52Speaker 5: It's great to chat. It's great to do podcasts and
- 38:55Speaker 5: interviews and all the rest. That all plays a role
- 38:57Speaker 5: in the political order. But when election time comes around,
- 39:00Speaker 5: we all need to keep our priorities in order. You know,
- 39:03Speaker 5: politics is the art of the possible. It's the art
- 39:06Speaker 5: of inclusion, the art of the second best, it's sometimes called.
- 39:09Speaker 5: And so I think we conservatives need to keep that
- 39:12Speaker 5: in mind. And there's no substitute for victory. And I
- 39:14Speaker 5: think this is what the Venezuela operation shows you. is
- 39:17Speaker 5: that the right, at least in the chattering class, had
- 39:19Speaker 5: been mired in this kind of civil war and a
- 39:22Speaker 5: lot of it was personal and vying for position. And
- 39:26Speaker 5: then what happens? Trump sends in 150 airplanes and abducts
- 39:31Speaker 5: the illegitimate leader of this foreign nation, the socialist country,
- 39:35Speaker 5: in 88 minutes from arrival at the palace to being
- 39:37Speaker 5: in international waters. And it shows America on the move,
- 39:41Speaker 5: making moves on immigration, on energy, on fighting our geopolitical adversaries.
- 39:46Speaker 1: And it's just awesome.
- 39:47Speaker 5: And now you see virtually every conservative is backing that.
- 39:50Speaker 5: And so I think victory goes a long way.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And I think this might have juiced us for the midterms.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Yes.
- 39:57Speaker 1: And also, President Trump is kind of he's hitting the
- 40:00Speaker 1: sweet spot. It's amazing. Like, for instance, I mean, even
- 40:03Speaker 1: like if you go back to like the Iran operation,
- 40:05Speaker 1: Operation Midnight Hammer, coming out of the wake of that,
- 40:09Speaker 1: it seemed like people who thought that we should detach
- 40:12Speaker 1: from Israel and think that people who think we should
- 40:14Speaker 1: be more sincerely involved in Israel's politics. Like everyone was
- 40:17Speaker 1: sort of kind of satisfied by the way President Trump
- 40:20Speaker 1: handled that. Yeah, were there debates around it? Sure. But
- 40:22Speaker 1: in the end, I think people were mostly kind of
- 40:24Speaker 1: satisfied no matter where they fall on that question, which
- 40:26Speaker 1: is like how entangled should we be with Israel? The
- 40:29Speaker 1: other thing is like with Venezuela, you know, I think
- 40:32Speaker 1: back to like we're pretty well trained now by America's
- 40:36Speaker 1: foreign policy failures to be cynical about regime change operations,
- 40:39Speaker 1: which I think is well-earned. Like I do think that's
- 40:41Speaker 1: a good instinct for us to be like, whoa, whoa, whoa,
- 40:43Speaker 1: what comes next? That's a perfectly good instinct to have
- 40:45Speaker 1: as a voter. But I think what President Trump has
- 40:48Speaker 1: done is he's learned from like the lessons, for instance,
- 40:51Speaker 1: in Afghanistan. Remember, they go in Afghanistan. The original operation
- 40:54Speaker 1: was just kill the bad guys and get out. That
- 40:56Speaker 1: was one of the that was what they wanted to
- 40:57Speaker 1: do originally. And then it became a big nation building exercise.
- 41:00Speaker 1: And then we go into Iraq on false pretenses and
- 41:03Speaker 1: then we throw out Saddam and then we do nation
- 41:04Speaker 1: building there. It's just failure after failure, tribal warfare, tribal warfare. Venezuela,
- 41:09Speaker 1: what President Trump has done is he's done a quick strike.
- 41:13Speaker 1: He grabbed an illegitimate occupier that the people detested and
- 41:16Speaker 1: didn't feel they didn't vote for him. He just stole power.
- 41:19Speaker 1: And then he promised that he's going to give them
- 41:21Speaker 1: wealth from the oil that that is being derived from
- 41:24Speaker 1: underneath their territory. And and subsequently, you think about it,
- 41:28Speaker 1: it's a country with a unified culture and a history
- 41:31Speaker 1: of democratic institutions. I mean, we are being dealt a
- 41:34Speaker 1: pretty good hand relatively. And President Trump has figured out
- 41:37Speaker 1: how do you hit the sweet spot without staying there
- 41:39Speaker 1: forever and creating another quagmire for the country?
- 41:42Speaker 5: Yeah, the sweet spot is a great way to think
- 41:44Speaker 5: about it. The via media, or Aristotle says that prudence
- 41:47Speaker 5: is the chief political virtue. So here, you really pacify
- 41:52Speaker 5: all of the factions on the right. The people who
- 41:55Speaker 5: want to restrain foreign policy or only want to stick
- 41:57Speaker 5: to our neighborhood are Well, Venezuela is in our neighborhood.
- 41:59Speaker 5: The Monroe Doctrine has been American foreign policy for over
- 42:02Speaker 5: 200 years. The more neocon, aggressive foreign policy people on
- 42:08Speaker 5: the right, well, they want to weaken Iran.
- 42:10Speaker 1: They want to weaken China. They want to weaken Russia.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Guess what?
- 42:13Speaker 5: Removing Maduro in Venezuela achieves that as well. The foreign
- 42:16Speaker 5: policy realists who only want to intervene when there are
- 42:19Speaker 5: material problems interests for the United States at stake here. Yeah,
- 42:24Speaker 5: Maduro and Chavez stole our property. Energy is a real
- 42:27Speaker 5: material stake. The fact that Venezuela's failures and this failure
- 42:32Speaker 5: of the socialist system there had been sending so many
- 42:34Speaker 5: migrants across the border illegally, that's a real material interest
- 42:37Speaker 5: we have. The drugs, not to forget the drugs that
- 42:40Speaker 5: were pouring across the border from Venezuela, which was effectively
- 42:43Speaker 5: being run by a cartel All of that, really, this
- 42:47Speaker 5: operation has something for everybody. He struck this sweet spot
- 42:51Speaker 5: with prudence. And it reminds us, too, that politics is
- 42:53Speaker 5: much more an art than a science. It's a practical
- 42:57Speaker 5: science rather than a pure science.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Yes, and it repels China's influence in our hemisphere. So
- 43:02Speaker 1: this is one of the biggest pieces of this. I
- 43:04Speaker 1: think often there's a lot of the conversation is like, well,
- 43:07Speaker 1: we don't want to get into any new wars. OK, fine.
- 43:09Speaker 1: But should we not defend ourselves against one that's currently
- 43:12Speaker 1: being waged against us? So China is clearly undertaking a
- 43:18Speaker 1: lot of adversarial actions against the United States, including filling
- 43:21Speaker 1: our country with fentanyl. It ultimately comes from China. It's
- 43:23Speaker 1: poison that's killing over 100,000 Americans. And then they're buying
- 43:26Speaker 1: illicit oil from Venezuela in contravention of our embargo on
- 43:31Speaker 1: that oil. So how about no? How about we stop
- 43:34Speaker 1: that from happening? And so China, Cuba, Iran, Russia, and
- 43:39Speaker 1: certainly obviously the communists in Venezuela are all reeling now.
- 43:44Speaker 1: that the United States is actually asserting itself and defending itself.
- 43:48Speaker 1: It's the same rationale, by the way, that President Trump
- 43:50Speaker 1: used in the trade war, which is, no, no, no,
- 43:52Speaker 1: I'm not starting a trade war. I want to end
- 43:54Speaker 1: one against the United States.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Yeah, this is Trump's art of the deal, in which
- 43:59Speaker 5: he focuses on a lot, and I think justifiably so,
- 44:01Speaker 5: because no one, other than the kookiest people or people
- 44:05Speaker 5: who hate our country, no one doesn't want to see
- 44:08Speaker 5: our adversaries weakened, right? No one wants to embolden our adversaries.
- 44:11Speaker 5: The reason that some of us who want a more
- 44:13Speaker 5: restrained foreign policy are skeptical of wars in the Middle
- 44:15Speaker 5: East is because we think we're not that good at
- 44:18Speaker 5: waging them, and they're kind of far-flung, and we're ignoring
- 44:20Speaker 5: our own territories, and we're ignoring more urgent problems. But
- 44:23Speaker 5: we still would like to see our adversaries weakened. And
- 44:26Speaker 5: so if Trump can go in in this extremely efficient
- 44:29Speaker 5: way– I mean historically efficient way– and weaken China by
- 44:33Speaker 5: cutting off their oil and weaken Iran, which has always
- 44:36Speaker 5: had one foot in the, since the revolution has had
- 44:38Speaker 5: one foot in the international order, one foot outside of it.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Weaken Russia, which is already occupied in Ukraine. Well, that
- 44:45Speaker 5: actually probably will conduce to a more restrained foreign policy generally,
- 44:48Speaker 5: because it means that now China is probably less likely
- 44:52Speaker 5: to get aggressive in the South China Sea. It means
- 44:54Speaker 5: that Iran is probably less likely to get aggressive with
- 44:57Speaker 5: American allies.
- 44:57Speaker 1: In the.
- 45:01Speaker 5: But what it means is the cascading downstream effects can
- 45:05Speaker 5: be very good, can offer something for everybody. You just
- 45:08Speaker 5: have to know how to get a good deal. And
- 45:10Speaker 5: Trump knows how to get a good deal. There's no
- 45:12Speaker 5: denying it.
- 45:13Speaker 1: So there's another reaction that I've seen to this that
- 45:15Speaker 1: I kind of am sympathetic to. I definitely am, which
- 45:18Speaker 1: is domestically. OK, so I definitely think that this is
- 45:21Speaker 1: in America's interest, what he did in Venezuela. I love it.
- 45:24Speaker 1: I love that Maduro is standing trial and is confused
- 45:26Speaker 1: by the rights he's being afforded in a New York
- 45:28Speaker 1: City courtroom right now. I love all that. But simultaneously,
- 45:33Speaker 1: maybe not Delta Force, but close. I want to see
- 45:35Speaker 1: Delta Force go after Tim Walz. I want to see
- 45:39Speaker 1: domestic operations. Again, they're American citizens. We afford them a
- 45:43Speaker 1: little bit more courtesy, perhaps, but not much more. Because
- 45:49Speaker 1: $ 20 billion in fraud against the American people, and you
- 45:52Speaker 1: just let it happen? You knew it was happening. You
- 45:54Speaker 1: let it happen. Keith Ellison caught on tape saying that
- 45:56Speaker 1: he's going to cover up for Somalis. to try and,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you know, hassle people who were looking into them. I mean,
- 46:01Speaker 1: you get you get kind of these never ending horribles.
- 46:05Speaker 1: And there is, I think, a reasonable desire among the
- 46:09Speaker 1: Trump voting coalition to see more aggressive action to take
- 46:13Speaker 1: them down. What do you make of that?
- 46:15Speaker 5: There is a hard political reality to this, which I
- 46:18Speaker 5: know frustrates the White House, which is that it is
- 46:21Speaker 5: in many ways easier to go in and depose the
- 46:25Speaker 5: leader of a foreign country than it is to deport
- 46:27Speaker 5: a single illegal alien. It is, in other words, easier
- 46:31Speaker 5: for the president as commander in chief of the military
- 46:33Speaker 5: to do basically whatever he wants around the world than
- 46:36Speaker 5: it is to deal with domestic politics, which has all
- 46:39Speaker 5: of these extra rules and just kind of corrupt machine
- 46:43Speaker 5: bureaucratic politics associated with it. So I'm impressed by what
- 46:46Speaker 5: the president has done. I know there's a lot of
- 46:48Speaker 5: attacks on Trump, obviously from the left, but even from
- 46:52Speaker 5: the more cynical factions of the right. And they say
- 46:54Speaker 5: the economy is not doing that well. The economy is
- 46:56Speaker 5: doing great. GDP is way outperforming expectations that all the
- 46:59Speaker 5: economists were wrong about the tariffs. Rents have fallen four
- 47:03Speaker 5: months in a row. Why are the rents falling? Because
- 47:06Speaker 5: of the mass migration. Some people are saying mass migration
- 47:08Speaker 5: isn't happening.
- 47:09Speaker 1: It is.
- 47:10Speaker 5: The Trump administration was able to deport effectively two million people,
- 47:13Speaker 5: maybe even a little bit more in the first year.
- 47:15Speaker 1: So it's good.
- 47:16Speaker 5: People just don't feel satisfied given the scope of the problem,
- 47:19Speaker 5: given the fact that there are at least 16 million
- 47:21Speaker 5: illegal aliens in the country, given the fact that prices
- 47:24Speaker 5: rose so much under Joe Biden because of inflation.
- 47:26Speaker 1: I get it.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 47:27Speaker 5: But, you know, you got to go to war with
- 47:29Speaker 5: the army you've got domestically as well as politically.
- 47:32Speaker 1: The fact that HHS.
- 47:34Speaker 5: Or sorry, DHS, was able to train up forces for
- 47:38Speaker 5: mass deportations that have not taken place in decades.
- 47:42Speaker 1: They just didn't even have that competency anymore. It's impressive.
- 47:45Speaker 5: But, you know, I hope that the White House is
- 47:47Speaker 5: aware of this political risk because, you know, there's no
- 47:49Speaker 5: excuse at the ballot box, no matter how hard it is.
- 47:52Speaker 1: You've got to show those results at home.
- 47:54Speaker 5: And even more so, you have to persuade people of
- 47:56Speaker 5: the reality of the results that maybe you've already shown.
- 47:59Speaker 1: Well, this gets back to what you were just talking
- 48:01Speaker 1: about a moment ago in a different context, which is like,
- 48:03Speaker 1: you know, as you mentioned, the chattering class and the
- 48:05Speaker 1: debates outside of the White House, outside of Washington. But
- 48:08Speaker 1: if there's ever been a time to have a debate
- 48:11Speaker 1: between the White House and Congress, congressional Republicans, it's yesterday.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I mean, President Trump is being very courteous to John
- 48:20Speaker 1: Thune and Speaker Johnson because the impediment to what you
- 48:25Speaker 1: and I are talking about, which is arresting bad guys
- 48:27Speaker 1: in our own country, it turns out Is the United
- 48:30Speaker 1: States Congress. It is Republicans. The blue slip, which I
- 48:34Speaker 1: won't I won't go into every detail, but in the
- 48:36Speaker 1: Senate is blocking us from having quality judges and U.S. attorneys.
- 48:40Speaker 1: And President Trump, I think, is being way too nice
- 48:44Speaker 1: to the Senate right now about that nightmare that's keeping
- 48:48Speaker 1: us from getting what we need as a country.
- 48:50Speaker 5: Yes, especially the Senate. Cause look, there are some great senators. Listen,
- 48:54Speaker 5: some of my closest friends are senators.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:55Speaker 5: There's some good ones there, but generally speaking, the Senate
- 48:59Speaker 5: is a problem and they don't want to do anything
- 49:02Speaker 5: when it comes to the house. I have the utmost
- 49:04Speaker 5: sympathy for Mike Johnson. I love Mike Johnson because he
- 49:07Speaker 5: has the worst job in politics. I would much rather
- 49:11Speaker 5: be the dog catcher in Palookaville than be the speaker
- 49:13Speaker 5: of the house of representatives.
- 49:14Speaker 1: It's hurting cats. He's got a two-vote margin as of today.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Marjorie Taylor Greene just left, and a congressman just died.
- 49:21Speaker 1: A Republican congressman in California just died. They just came
- 49:24Speaker 1: out this morning. So now we're down to a two-vote.
- 49:26Speaker 5: It's actually the first I'm hearing of it. I feel
- 49:28Speaker 5: like Trump with Ruth Bader Ginsburg. That's very sad politically and.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Also for his family. It was Congressman Doug LaMalfa has
- 49:34Speaker 1: died at the age of 65. No cause of death
- 49:38Speaker 1: has been given yet. They say he died suddenly. And
- 49:42Speaker 1: that means we dropped a 218 to 213. Republicans can
- 49:46Speaker 1: only lose two votes in anything here or else they lose.
- 49:50Speaker 1: So you're right. Mike Johnson's got a difficult hand he's
- 49:53Speaker 1: dealing with. But the reason I'm concerned about Mike Johnson,
- 49:55Speaker 1: the one thing that stands out to me that I
- 49:57Speaker 1: don't think people bring up enough is it requires both
- 49:59Speaker 1: Mike Johnson and John Thune to put the Congress into
- 50:01Speaker 1: a full recess to allow Trump to do recess appointments.
- 50:04Speaker 1: And neither of those men have allowed that to happen.
- 50:08Speaker 1: And they could if they wanted to. And it drives
- 50:10Speaker 1: me nuts that they haven't because it suggests that they're
- 50:13Speaker 1: not completely familiar with what time it is.
- 50:16Speaker 5: And there is a fear heading into the midterm elections. One,
- 50:19Speaker 5: it's going to be harder to wrangle these people anyway,
- 50:21Speaker 5: the ones who are up for reelection. So the entire
- 50:23Speaker 5: House and and, you know, members of the Senate. But
- 50:26Speaker 5: this also shows you why the president is taking so
- 50:30Speaker 5: many executive actions. You know, I know there are some
- 50:33Speaker 5: principled ideologues on the right who aren't a big fan
- 50:35Speaker 5: of executive orders and executive actions. And look, I wish
- 50:39Speaker 5: that some of these had, you know, more teeth and
- 50:41Speaker 5: longer legs. But what's the president supposed to do? You know,
- 50:45Speaker 5: if Congress has over many decades delegated away a lot
- 50:48Speaker 5: of its power and now just doesn't even want to
- 50:50Speaker 5: flex its muscles, maybe because it can't. Well, someone's got
- 50:53Speaker 5: to do something and that's going to be the president.
- 50:56Speaker 5: And the libs can whine about no King's protests all day.
- 50:58Speaker 5: But I'll take what I can get coming out of
- 51:00Speaker 5: the White House.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Well, Michael Knowles, I've taken so much of your time already.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I always appreciate our conversations. I get a lot out
- 51:06Speaker 1: of them. Appreciate you and look forward to talking again soon, sir.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Good to see you, sir. Happy January 6th.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 51:12Speaker 1: And Merry Christmas. Thanks, Michael. See, there he is. Michael Knowles.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Always good to have him stop by. Gets me thinking
- 51:19Speaker 1: about a lot of stuff. But yeah, that is the
- 51:21Speaker 1: news this morning. Congressman Doug LaMalfa has died suddenly at
- 51:24Speaker 1: the age of 65, according to Republican leadership, meaning we
- 51:28Speaker 1: are in a in very, very tight territory. Right now,
- 51:32Speaker 1: some vacancies and those things need to be resolved. But
- 51:36Speaker 1: it's all the more reason that Republicans need to heed
- 51:38Speaker 1: the message that you and I are sending, which is like, hey,
- 51:41Speaker 1: do exactly what your voters sent you there to do.
- 51:43Speaker 1: And that includes accountability in our own our own country.
- 51:48Speaker 1: You know, I we mentioned in my conversation with with Michael,
- 51:52Speaker 1: talk about the radical left and how violent and crazy
- 51:54Speaker 1: they are. That is certainly been true. in the left's
- 51:58Speaker 1: threats against ICE agents over the course of the last year.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I don't know if you know any lefties in your
- 52:04Speaker 1: life or if you've talked to anybody recently who is
- 52:06Speaker 1: even a mild disposition towards the things that they hear
- 52:10Speaker 1: in the legacy press. But have you noticed how poorly
- 52:18Speaker 1: these people treat ICE? The poor reputation that they impugn
- 52:23Speaker 1: on ICE? They treat ICE like they're Nazi brownshirts. They
- 52:28Speaker 1: treat the men and women of immigration enforcement who are
- 52:31Speaker 1: doing nothing but enforcing our laws, nothing but enforcing our laws,
- 52:33Speaker 1: and doing it with utter decency and respect for the Constitution.
- 52:37Speaker 1: They're treating them like they're Nazis. And the obvious second-order
- 52:41Speaker 1: effects of that has been a massive increase in threats
- 52:45Speaker 1: and assaults and assassination attempts on ICE agents. That's just true.
- 52:51Speaker 1: And to help along these vile lies... There are elements
- 52:56Speaker 1: of corporate America, business America, who have helped push this
- 53:00Speaker 1: garbage along. And that includes this week a Minneapolis Hilton franchise,
- 53:07Speaker 1: which decided that it would stop ICE agents from having
- 53:12Speaker 1: a place to sleep at night in Minneapolis. Nope. You
- 53:16Speaker 1: can't stay here, they said. This is a crazy saga.
- 53:22Speaker 1: One that has Hilton... The parent company, the big banner company, Hilton,
- 53:29Speaker 1: scrambling right now to try and mitigate the consequences of
- 53:34Speaker 1: being associated with this. Here's what we got. This is
- 53:37Speaker 1: DHS yesterday. They posted some screenshots of email traffic, and
- 53:41Speaker 1: they wrote, no room at the inn. Speaking of Christmas,
- 53:45Speaker 1: Hilton Hotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to
- 53:49Speaker 1: refuse service to DHS law enforcement. When officers attempted to
- 53:53Speaker 1: book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton hotels
- 53:57Speaker 1: maliciously canceled their reservations. This is unacceptable. Why is Hilton
- 54:03Speaker 1: hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and
- 54:08Speaker 1: impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our
- 54:11Speaker 1: nation's immigration laws? Okay. To be clear, this was posted
- 54:14Speaker 1: at 1227 PM yesterday afternoon. So they, Basically, they're getting
- 54:21Speaker 1: rejected from this one hotel because they're ICE agents, because
- 54:25Speaker 1: they're DHS. And DHS has released this. God bless them
- 54:29Speaker 1: for sharing this in public. All right. So we get that.
- 54:33Speaker 1: Immediately after that, we begin getting statements from Hilton at
- 54:37Speaker 1: the national level. Hilton claims that they're addressing this. Oh,
- 54:43Speaker 1: we're addressing it. And we're investigating, they said. And Bill
- 54:47Speaker 1: Malusian got the statement. Take a look here. Hilton Hotel
- 54:50Speaker 1: serves as welcoming places for all. This hotel is independently
- 54:54Speaker 1: owned and operated, and the actions referenced are not reflective
- 54:56Speaker 1: of Hilton values. We're investigating this matter with the individual
- 54:59Speaker 1: hotel and can confirm that Hilton works with government's law
- 55:02Speaker 1: enforcement and community leaders around the world to ensure our
- 55:05Speaker 1: properties are open and inviting to everyone. What followed after
- 55:09Speaker 1: that was another statement from the owner of the hotel. Now,
- 55:12Speaker 1: this is the specific owner of the hotel is using
- 55:14Speaker 1: the Hilton franchise name. It's called Ever Peak Hospitality. And
- 55:18Speaker 1: Ever Peak said, oh, we're welcoming to all. This move
- 55:21Speaker 1: was totally inconsistent. Our policy is being welcoming to all.
- 55:25Speaker 1: We're in touch with the guests to ensure that they're accommodated.
- 55:28Speaker 1: We don't discriminate against any individuals or agencies. We apologize
- 55:31Speaker 1: to those impacted. So So as of that statement yesterday,
- 55:34Speaker 1: you start to think, OK, well, maybe everything is improving.
- 55:37Speaker 1: I don't know. Trisha McLaughlin over at DHS, you know her,
- 55:40Speaker 1: the spokesman over there. She said, you know, it's funny.
- 55:44Speaker 1: We haven't heard anything from them. So I don't know
- 55:45Speaker 1: what they're talking about. And then to clear things up
- 55:49Speaker 1: last night, the great Nick Sorter decided, how about this?
- 55:52Speaker 1: How about I just go to the hotel and I'll
- 55:54Speaker 1: pretend to be DHS. I'll try and book 10 rooms
- 55:56Speaker 1: and see what happens. Well, here's what happened. Watch Nick.
- 56:01Speaker 4: What agency is it for? Would it be Department of
- 56:06Speaker 4: Homeland Security? So we're not accepting people from immigration, ICE agents, DHS,
- 56:15Speaker 4: into our property. It's just our management ownership. Okay, I
- 56:19Speaker 4: thought that changed today.
- 56:21Speaker 1: I just talked to the owner of the building, and
- 56:27Speaker 1: he didn't say there hasn't been any changes. Really? Okay. Yeah,
- 56:32Speaker 1: it's just policy.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, that's not your fault. Totally get that.
- 56:38Speaker 4: So they actually said that was... Honestly, this is the
- 56:43Speaker 4: most convenient location.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:45Speaker 4: So they told you no, that there's no... Yeah, no immigration. Well,
- 56:52Speaker 4: DHS isn't all immigration.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 56:54Speaker 4: Okay, so even with the The thing that they said
- 57:00Speaker 4: earlier where they mentioned that there was a statement that
- 57:05Speaker 4: they put out, you know, saying that they were that
- 57:07Speaker 4: they accept everybody.
- 57:11Speaker 1: They didn't. Yeah, the guy even is like, I just
- 57:14Speaker 1: talked to the owner. Nothing's changed. No, we're not letting
- 57:16Speaker 1: DHS stay here. Now, again, that is in the service
- 57:20Speaker 1: of demonizing ICE, treating ICE like they're doing something morally depraved.
- 57:25Speaker 1: when in fact they're the ones who are standing up
- 57:26Speaker 1: for decency, for law and order, for restoring American communities,
- 57:29Speaker 1: for making them safer. The left has so demonized them,
- 57:32Speaker 1: it's unbelievable. It is demonic the way they've treated immigration
- 57:36Speaker 1: and customs enforcement. But I have some good news in
- 57:39Speaker 1: this story, and we'll see if it holds, but here's
- 57:42Speaker 1: the update from Hilton. Now remember, this all started early
- 57:45Speaker 1: yesterday afternoon, and we get an update 7.54 a.m. this morning.
- 57:49Speaker 1: This is an official statement now from Hilton at the
- 57:52Speaker 1: national level. Statement from Hilton on a recent video. On
- 57:58Speaker 1: a recent video. Come on, this is the most corporate
- 58:01Speaker 1: speak ever. How about Nick Sorter's video? They don't even
- 58:04Speaker 1: refer to Nick, but okay. On a recent video. Nick
- 58:07Speaker 1: should call all of his videos a recent video. That
- 58:09Speaker 1: should be his whole series going forward. The independent hotel
- 58:13Speaker 1: owner had assured us that they had fixed this problem
- 58:16Speaker 1: and published a message confirming this. A recent video clearly
- 58:21Speaker 1: raises concerns they are not meeting our standards and values.
- 58:25Speaker 1: As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this
- 58:30Speaker 1: hotel from our systems. Hilton is and has always been
- 58:34Speaker 1: a welcoming place for all. We are also engaging with
- 58:37Speaker 1: all of our franchisees to reinforce the standards we hold
- 58:40Speaker 1: them to across our system to help ensure this does
- 58:43Speaker 1: not happen again. Ladies and gentlemen, what I just read
- 58:52Speaker 1: is a sign of your power. What I just read
- 58:57Speaker 1: is a sign that corporate America at all of its
- 59:01Speaker 1: levels is aware that we will mobilize if they screw
- 59:07Speaker 1: us over. Hilton, in the course of just over, what, 15,
- 59:12Speaker 1: 16 hours, has decided to remove this hotel entirely from
- 59:17Speaker 1: the Hilton brand of hotels. They're no longer allowed to
- 59:19Speaker 1: be a franchise of Hilton. They can go on, they
- 59:22Speaker 1: could be, you know, Joe's Hotel or whatever else. But
- 59:25Speaker 1: Hilton's removed them. They don't want the Bud Light treatment.
- 59:30Speaker 1: They don't want the Cracker Barrel fiasco. They would just
- 59:34Speaker 1: like to be a hotel. That's what they're going for.
- 59:37Speaker 1: They said they just want to be welcoming to all,
- 59:39Speaker 1: including ICE, and they've notified every hotel that calls themselves
- 59:43Speaker 1: a Hilton franchise that, yeah, we welcome ICE here. That's
- 59:49Speaker 1: a good outcome. Keep up the pressure. Thank you to
- 59:51Speaker 1: Nick Sorter for sending a camera over there. Hilton pulled
- 59:55Speaker 1: the right move here. We'll see if it holds, by
- 59:57Speaker 1: the way. It's not over until it's over. It's never
- 59:59Speaker 1: over until it's over. But today, this show is over.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: It's great to be with you today, as always. You
