- 0:07Speaker 1: Car tariffs could have an impact on crypto in a
- 0:09Speaker 1: very big way, and the April second deadline is looming.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Today we'll break it down for you. My name is
- 0:15Speaker 1: Paul Barren. Welcome back in the tech path. I want
- 0:17Speaker 1: to thank our sponsor today and that is I trus Capital.
- 0:19Speaker 1: This is a great place for you guys to get
- 0:21Speaker 1: going on your cryptoiras and of course this is all
- 0:24Speaker 1: long term strategy that you want to implement on any
- 0:28Speaker 1: wealth planning program and check it out I truscapital dot com.
- 0:32Speaker 2: All right, let's go over to a couple of points
- 0:34Speaker 2: that have hit.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Of course, Trump announces twenty five percent tariffs on cars
- 0:39Speaker 1: not made in the United States. This is getting a
- 0:42Speaker 1: little detailed, and if you look at the market on
- 0:45Speaker 1: the reciprocal tariff day, which is going to be the second,
- 0:48Speaker 1: all of this is creating a little bit of problems
- 0:52Speaker 1: around this whole uncertainty issue. And of course we've seen
- 0:55Speaker 1: almost every thing out there starts to take a dip.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I want to go to the clip real quick because
- 1:00Speaker 1: this is where he signs the tariffs and gives us
- 1:03Speaker 1: some context.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Take a look, and you're going to see prices going down.
- 1:07Speaker 3: But we're trying to get approved if we can. If
- 1:10Speaker 3: you borrow money to buy a car, you're allowed to
- 1:12Speaker 3: deduct interest payments for purposes of income text, but only
- 1:17Speaker 3: if the cars made in America. People that think in
- 1:20Speaker 3: terms of deductions are very wealthy people. But right from
- 1:24Speaker 3: the beginning, you're gonna have a lot of construction jobs.
- 1:27Speaker 3: But you're also gonna have a lot of automobile jobs.
- 1:29Speaker 3: So thank you very much. Now we're gonna make it
- 1:36Speaker 3: all countries. I think people are going to be very surprised.
- 1:39Speaker 3: So I think people are going to be very very surprised.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I think they'll be pleasantly surprised.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:48Speaker 3: What are you. I didn't say that. I want to
- 1:52Speaker 3: see the jobs.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Are there any positions.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Under which you'd remove these auto tariffs?
- 1:56Speaker 5: Or is this permanent for the rest of your turn
- 1:58Speaker 5: of office?
- 1:59Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:59Speaker 3: This is permanent, all right?
- 2:05Speaker 1: So Trump right there making some pretty hard statements in
- 2:08Speaker 1: reference to the auto industry. And this is of course,
- 2:09Speaker 1: could have some pretty significant impact worldwide. The amount of
- 2:14Speaker 1: carmakers that are now implementing the potential price increase. We'll
- 2:18Speaker 1: get down into some of that here in a minute,
- 2:20Speaker 1: but it does create a little bit of media confusion
- 2:23Speaker 1: right now, because I think there's still a lot in
- 2:26Speaker 1: the water that hasn't been flashed out. Even the point
- 2:29Speaker 1: that he made right there in reference to a potential
- 2:32Speaker 1: tax credit on interest payments for American made cars that
- 2:36Speaker 1: has not been passed it. You know, it's been floated
- 2:38Speaker 1: out there, which is kind of Trump's strategy.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Floats a lot of these blurts.
- 2:42Speaker 1: These things out all the time to see how the
- 2:44Speaker 1: market and also see how maybe Congress will address it.
- 2:47Speaker 2: But let me go to this next clip.
- 2:49Speaker 1: This will get into how the media is now confused.
- 2:52Speaker 7: Take a look, even if you had the site picked
- 2:55Speaker 7: out and you said do it right now, two and
- 2:58Speaker 7: a half years to three and a half years, and
- 3:00Speaker 7: that's lightning speed, Melissa, you just don't flip a switch
- 3:03Speaker 7: and make it happen.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Well, what are we going to know about the carbons?
- 3:06Speaker 6: We're still waiting to figure that out, right. I think
- 3:08Speaker 6: twenty five percent is not the end of it. We're
- 3:11Speaker 6: still waiting to see next week on the second, with
- 3:14Speaker 6: the reciprocal tariffs, how much more we have to add
- 3:17Speaker 6: on on top of that twenty five percent?
- 3:20Speaker 8: So do you pay the steel and aluminum plus your
- 3:23Speaker 8: reciprocal plus your auto.
- 3:25Speaker 9: That's where it really really.
- 3:26Speaker 8: Can start to add up in terms of the macro
- 3:29Speaker 8: tariff freight.
- 3:30Speaker 7: This is going to drive the auto industry, not the
- 3:32Speaker 7: overall economy, strictly the auto industry into a recession.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Melissa would have been actually viewed as not as bad
- 3:39Speaker 1: as expected.
- 3:40Speaker 7: Sure, to an extent, it's not as bad as expected.
- 3:43Speaker 5: Making the interest paid on auto loans tax deductible, I mean,
- 3:47Speaker 5: could that offset some of this pain?
- 3:52Speaker 2: Okay?
- 3:52Speaker 1: So I think this is the point. I think a
- 3:54Speaker 1: lot of people are still concerned about this. If we
- 3:57Speaker 1: do get a tax credit, this will be possibly, very
- 4:01Speaker 1: possibly next year. The amount of the impact on the
- 4:06Speaker 1: industry as a whole, I think is going to be
- 4:08Speaker 1: almost immediate.
- 4:09Speaker 2: You have Ferrari.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Course, not that everybody's looking at Ferrari out there, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: of course if they're moving, that means that most of
- 4:15Speaker 1: the Germans are probably going to be moving as well.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And if you look at the Germans, you.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Have to look at Volkswagen, which pretty much controls most
- 4:22Speaker 1: of the German automaking coming out, and that's including BMW, Mercedes,
- 4:26Speaker 1: what we're going to see out of Portia. All those
- 4:28Speaker 1: companies are most likely going to see pretty significant price
- 4:31Speaker 1: increases in a very very quick way, and that will
- 4:34Speaker 1: slow the market down. It will slow down automobile purchasing
- 4:39Speaker 1: and GDP in general. That I think is going to
- 4:41Speaker 1: be the factor going for Mexico. President says, we're going
- 4:44Speaker 1: to give an integral response to tarifs April after April seconds.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So obviously there is a lot being negotiated right now
- 4:52Speaker 1: with a lot of these countries. You know, there's probably
- 4:55Speaker 1: some give and take. They'll most likely will be some
- 4:57Speaker 1: carve outs for certain countries, maybe for the benefit of
- 5:02Speaker 1: American car makers, so watch for that, which could include
- 5:06Speaker 1: even Mexico and Canada in terms of potential car carve outs. Now,
- 5:10Speaker 1: Hyundai comes back in and says, hey, maybe there are
- 5:14Speaker 1: some job creation opportunities here as well.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Take a look. Check this out.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Every body of every vehicle that comes off the line
- 5:22Speaker 7: is inspected by these robots. They now have three plants
- 5:26Speaker 7: open in the United States.
- 5:27Speaker 8: Though I don't we don't see many workers behind you,
- 5:30Speaker 8: just robots. So what how many people plant like this?
- 5:34Speaker 7: Well here, well, we'll show you the robots.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Here.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Let's stay on the robot. There we go, he's doing
- 5:40Speaker 7: his thing. But in terms of people, guys, let me
- 5:42Speaker 7: tell you right back here. Look, there's scores of people here.
- 5:45Speaker 7: It's not like the robots are taking over. It's just
- 5:48Speaker 7: that this is going to be augmenting the work of humans.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I don't know how to respond to that. You know,
- 5:54Speaker 1: you're looking at this massive plant. There's really no humans there.
- 5:57Speaker 1: This is all robotics. It's not going to go down
- 5:59Speaker 1: in terms of robot usage or AI usage, it's only going.
- 6:02Speaker 2: To go up.
- 6:02Speaker 1: So not completely sure that we're going to see massive
- 6:06Speaker 1: amounts of jobs coming in on this. I am still
- 6:08Speaker 1: questioning whether Trump is making a good move here on
- 6:11Speaker 1: these worldwide tariffs. I think the key is maybe you
- 6:15Speaker 1: negotiate with them if there is a reciprocal tariff on
- 6:19Speaker 1: American automakers. Okay, maybe there is an opportunity for negotiation there.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But I think this of course starts to hit things
- 6:26Speaker 1: pretty radically overall and will eventually make it into the
- 6:31Speaker 1: investment category as well. Jim Kramer had some statements to make.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Listen to what he had to.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Say, and I think it's kind of intriguing that the
- 6:38Speaker 4: president is agreeing with the hard left.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Oh yeah, uaw has come out with statements of support.
- 6:44Speaker 5: Of course, they're arguing for high paying jobs, right, which
- 6:47Speaker 5: is going to make the end product a little more expensive,
- 6:49Speaker 5: is it not?
- 6:50Speaker 10: Yes, it will. I'm classically pro union.
- 6:54Speaker 11: I don't know what that means.
- 6:56Speaker 10: No, I'm saying is this is a very pro union strate.
- 7:00Speaker 11: You are pro tariffs, So you're not.
- 7:01Speaker 10: I have pro tariff, absolutely you are. I hate free trade.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Can we write that down?
- 7:05Speaker 6: Though?
- 7:05Speaker 2: I hate free trade.
- 7:06Speaker 10: I hate free trade. You hate you there, I've hated
- 7:09Speaker 10: free trade forever you have.
- 7:11Speaker 11: You've you've been a beneficiary though of globalization and the
- 7:15Speaker 11: asset close arrest.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I am a big winner for anybody, and.
- 7:18Speaker 10: That I've come out against free trade every single money.
- 7:21Speaker 10: I think it's just an abomination.
- 7:23Speaker 5: You're also a pro consumer long argued for people who
- 7:26Speaker 5: maybe don't have as much to be able to afford things.
- 7:29Speaker 5: Foreign made assembled cars are going to be essentially a
- 7:32Speaker 5: luxury item in the star.
- 7:34Speaker 4: We pay for cheap stuff in this country. But at
- 7:36Speaker 4: a certain point we also wrecked are small towns?
- 7:40Speaker 11: Are we really going to end up with the jobs
- 7:42Speaker 11: or are we just gonna end up with a lot
- 7:43Speaker 11: of robots?
- 7:44Speaker 4: Well, and look, you're gonna have to put a lot
- 7:46Speaker 4: of robutch in everywhere because people qust too much.
- 7:49Speaker 11: End game here is to have higher paying jobs that
- 7:53Speaker 11: give people a good wage and dignity, and a lot
- 7:56Speaker 11: of things that.
- 7:56Speaker 5: You mentioned are small towns.
- 7:58Speaker 2: That's what that's all about.
- 7:59Speaker 10: But I think if you the expensive stuff here, I
- 8:01Speaker 10: know the assembly is just robot Okay.
- 8:07Speaker 1: All right, So from that Kramer clip, you just have
- 8:09Speaker 1: to look at the fact that this is going to
- 8:12Speaker 1: really have I think is already having a lot of confusion,
- 8:15Speaker 1: and I think the question is really how this plays out.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Does Trump and this administration just end up being a big,
- 8:21Speaker 1: huge tariff collector, which if that doesn't affect real tax
- 8:27Speaker 1: rates on Americans, then there's no real win there. So
- 8:30Speaker 1: I think this is going to be a big narrative
- 8:32Speaker 1: that the Trump administration is going to have to get
- 8:35Speaker 1: clear very quick because I think that the confusion you
- 8:38Speaker 1: can clearly see it there within the media outlets, but
- 8:41Speaker 1: the analysts as well are going left and right both
- 8:44Speaker 1: on looking at.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Global trade, free trade versus those who.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Do not trying to bring back American jobs, which are
- 8:50Speaker 1: going to take years.
- 8:51Speaker 2: This is something you would normally.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Step out over a two, three, four year process, and
- 8:57Speaker 1: this is happening literally in a two three four month process. Overall, Well,
- 9:02Speaker 1: here's Trump's auto tariffs and the lowering of probability of
- 9:06Speaker 1: the Bank of Japan raising rates in May, they were
- 9:09Speaker 1: looking at raising rates. Now we're gonna probably see that
- 9:11Speaker 1: backed off a little bit. So they planned to raise
- 9:13Speaker 1: interest rates in May, and let me kind of zoom
- 9:16Speaker 1: in on that, which is a conclusion of its next
- 9:18Speaker 1: board meeting. But after this, you know, we're probably gonna
- 9:22Speaker 1: maybe look at another alternative here. Other things they're talking
- 9:25Speaker 1: about is that these heightened trade policies came at a
- 9:28Speaker 1: time when the BOJA was seeking the right opportunity to
- 9:30Speaker 1: lift rates as consumers inflation continued to struggle there in Japan.
- 9:36Speaker 1: So this is going to weigh in on the Japanese
- 9:38Speaker 1: auto sector. This will have potentially a ripple across a
- 9:42Speaker 1: broader set of industries, and of course the Japanese are
- 9:45Speaker 1: a big, big automaker, so again more more impact overall.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Another thing I want to hit on this is the
- 9:52Speaker 1: complication of the ECB starts to look at this in
- 9:55Speaker 1: reference to interest rates as well. A couple of points
- 9:58Speaker 1: just quick on this one. Tariffs are expected hurt growth
- 10:01Speaker 1: and raise inflation in the European Union. Again, this will
- 10:05Speaker 1: put more pressure on the average consumer, and that always
- 10:09Speaker 1: concerns me because that usually means there's less money to
- 10:12Speaker 1: go into investment capital, which can push on market down.
- 10:16Speaker 1: So he here or you have the worst thing that
- 10:19Speaker 1: can happen, and that is the class separation that continues
- 10:24Speaker 1: to push you know, eventually entry level investors maybe out
- 10:29Speaker 1: of the investment market. Now, I want to go to
- 10:31Speaker 1: this clip because this is Arthur Hayes talking about maybe
- 10:34Speaker 1: tariffs don't really matter when it comes to crypto and investing.
- 10:38Speaker 12: Take a looks what's Trump going to do on tariffs?
- 10:40Speaker 12: Is it going to be reciprocal tariffs or a twenty
- 10:43Speaker 12: percent tariff on everyone? He said, We believe that the
- 10:46Speaker 12: inflationary aspects of tariffs are transitory, which basically, let's see
- 10:50Speaker 12: that Trump goes full rechard fifty percent terariffs or some
- 10:53Speaker 12: ridiculous number, and that causes domestic inflation in the US's
- 10:57Speaker 12: prices rise policies. No, that's non inflation. We can still
- 11:01Speaker 12: continue to ease conditions because we believe that that is
- 11:04Speaker 12: a transitory effect that is not a long lasting, measured inflation,
- 11:08Speaker 12: and therefore we are within our mandate to continue to
- 11:10Speaker 12: ease monetary conditions. So terrorist don't matter anymore to power,
- 11:13Speaker 12: and they shouldn't matter anymore as scrypto investors. If Trump
- 11:16Speaker 12: does fifty percent or he does two percent, it doesn't
- 11:18Speaker 12: matter because we know that powles that continue to provide
- 11:21Speaker 12: the monetary conditions, the easy monetary conditions that we need
- 11:24Speaker 12: to have our portfolios go up in value in Fiat
- 11:27Speaker 12: dollar terms.
- 11:28Speaker 1: The point though, is that tariffs will have an impact
- 11:32Speaker 1: on securities.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Securities are stocks.
- 11:35Speaker 1: These are all public and traded companies, meaning the auto
- 11:37Speaker 1: companies on a global level, and I think that of
- 11:40Speaker 1: course gets into the idea of liquidity, the confidence in
- 11:44Speaker 1: the markets. That's going to make a major impact on
- 11:48Speaker 1: how investors, because remember most of these portfolios that are
- 11:53Speaker 1: mostly securities right now are looking for wins so that
- 11:56Speaker 1: they can take that and put it into risk assets.
- 11:58Speaker 1: That's how a crypto market will recover. I don't think
- 12:02Speaker 1: there's enough retail. There could be enough institutional that could
- 12:05Speaker 1: go in this direction, but I think this is going
- 12:08Speaker 1: to take almost a symphony of a lot of things
- 12:10Speaker 1: happening at once to be able to make sure we
- 12:13Speaker 1: guide through without a recession. This is a factor that
- 12:15Speaker 1: plays into this, all right, So let me go to
- 12:17Speaker 1: a tweet here, because this, of course is sorry Merritt.
- 12:20Speaker 1: He covers the Tesla community pretty heavily, and he covers
- 12:24Speaker 1: a lot of this very in depth. Now, his breakdown
- 12:27Speaker 1: is somewhat accurate here. He talks about the breakdown of cars.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So I was surprised in a lot of these Nissan
- 12:33Speaker 1: at fifty two percent here in the USGM fifty two
- 12:36Speaker 1: percent crazy, but Tesesla holding one hundred percent made in
- 12:39Speaker 1: the US.
- 12:40Speaker 2: But parts that's a big one here.
- 12:42Speaker 1: And if you look further into his tweet thread, Elon
- 12:44Speaker 1: responds to it right here, and it says important note
- 12:48Speaker 1: that Tesla is not unscathed here and the tariff impact
- 12:53Speaker 1: on Tesla is still significant. So that being said, then
- 12:58Speaker 1: you go a little bit further and you see the
- 12:59Speaker 1: stock it did rise. So we saw a little bit
- 13:02Speaker 1: of a recovery here, and this is of course, has
- 13:04Speaker 1: been after Tesla has been actually on a little bit
- 13:06Speaker 1: of a v recovery after a bottom. But whether or
- 13:09Speaker 1: not this holds is the real question. Now, could it
- 13:11Speaker 1: be the better of all of them? If anybody is
- 13:13Speaker 1: investing in Auto coopers. Maybe Tesla ends up being the
- 13:16Speaker 1: good one. But if you look at the breakdown here,
- 13:18Speaker 1: this is the most American made vehicles inside of Tesla.
- 13:22Speaker 1: And if you'll notice right here, even the Model three,
- 13:25Speaker 1: which is their number one, not one, number one, but
- 13:26Speaker 1: number one. The Y is number one, but it's a
- 13:29Speaker 1: tie right there for number two and three at eighty
- 13:33Speaker 1: five percent, so still fifteen percent of that cart. Now,
- 13:36Speaker 1: I don't know how these tariffs apply to a certain
- 13:38Speaker 1: portion of this. I don't want to get into the
- 13:40Speaker 1: minutia of this, because this basically means you're going to
- 13:42Speaker 1: have an higher Tesla cost, means higher automotive costs across
- 13:46Speaker 1: all of these sectors. So interesting stuff going on right now.
- 13:50Speaker 1: With all that being said, then you've got the Chinese.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This is Taylor Ogan. He's another car analyst that primarily
- 13:56Speaker 1: covers China, specifically BID and they they just announced this
- 14:01Speaker 1: massive release and this basically is the Model S killer.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And this right here we haven't seen a price on
- 14:09Speaker 1: it yet. Again, this will have to be considerably cheaper
- 14:13Speaker 1: to be able to avoid the tariffs, to be able
- 14:15Speaker 1: to compete with.
- 14:15Speaker 2: The Model S. But the Model ASS and.
- 14:17Speaker 1: The Lucid I guess would be the two cars that
- 14:19Speaker 1: that would go into Robinhood dropped a massive keynote last night.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Two big takeaways is this new robo advisor. Basically, the
- 14:29Speaker 1: idea is that you're going to have a financial advisor,
- 14:31Speaker 1: a personal banker, and a research team all in one
- 14:34Speaker 1: little fam You know, they are talking about rolling this
- 14:38Speaker 1: out later in the summer. If it gets rolled out,
- 14:42Speaker 1: that'll be a big deal. The fact that they're going
- 14:44Speaker 1: into banking is probably the biggest I think the biggest
- 14:47Speaker 1: shift because that could really change things dramatically when you
- 14:51Speaker 1: can move money around, be able to really leverage in
- 14:53Speaker 1: on stable coins, crypto and securities all in one place.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Nobody is doing that right now. That would be the
- 14:59Speaker 1: first and Robinhood could do it now. Another one that
- 15:03Speaker 1: made the news was this move right here, game Stop
- 15:05Speaker 1: now raising one point three billion not for stock buybacks,
- 15:09Speaker 1: but for debt repayments to buy bitcoin. So Sailor was
- 15:14Speaker 1: successful at least with game Stop, but wasn't successful with
- 15:20Speaker 1: Microsoft and Google. So I think the key here is
- 15:25Speaker 1: it's still a bullish thing I think for bitcoin in general.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Is one point three billion news can't scoff at that,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but the market did not necessarily like it. If you
- 15:34Speaker 1: go to the game Stop stock right now, I mean
- 15:37Speaker 1: you can kind of see the immediate reaction from this.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Now part of this is coming from store closure. So
- 15:43Speaker 1: the brand itself maybe just shifting their business model, maybe
- 15:48Speaker 1: to a strategy model, meaning a micro strategy model.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Maybe that's the plan all along.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Going forward, we'll see this is a clip that is
- 15:56Speaker 1: whether or not other companies will follow suit on this
- 15:59Speaker 1: game's take a look.
- 16:01Speaker 9: So the question now is will other companies follow And
- 16:05Speaker 9: the answer is most likely. GameStop is not a financial
- 16:09Speaker 9: company or even a cryptonative company. They were a retail
- 16:13Speaker 9: dinosaur that's reinventing itself. And if they can do it,
- 16:16Speaker 9: what's going to stop other companies from doing it? Companies
- 16:19Speaker 9: like AMC, Chewy, Shopify, even Apple could be watching really
- 16:23Speaker 9: closely right now, especially if game Stops price reacts positively
- 16:28Speaker 9: and their treasury actually grows in value. The biggest risk
- 16:33Speaker 9: is fear because most C level executive people that run
- 16:37Speaker 9: companies don't want to be the first to bet their
- 16:40Speaker 9: company's money on bitcoin because if it goes down jail
- 16:45Speaker 9: not not really, but they might lose their job. And
- 16:47Speaker 9: now though the United States is going to start buying soon,
- 16:50Speaker 9: so they're not going to be the first, they're not
- 16:52Speaker 9: even going to be the second. And the more that
- 16:55Speaker 9: jump in, the safer it becomes. It's a classic S
- 16:57Speaker 9: curve of adoption, and we might just be right at
- 17:01Speaker 9: that acceleration point.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Listen, I like andre Jick. He's got a great YouTube channel.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm not sure I agree with that analysis. And you know,
- 17:11Speaker 1: when you look back at the stock, I mean, the
- 17:12Speaker 1: immediate reaction was negative. Okay, so many CEOs to his point,
- 17:17Speaker 1: they're watching this right now. How did the stock respond?
- 17:21Speaker 1: The stock did not respond well. The structure, though, could
- 17:26Speaker 1: get a reversal. And what I mean by that is
- 17:28Speaker 1: he is right in the sense that there's a lot
- 17:30Speaker 1: of companies out there right now that are aging out.
- 17:32Speaker 1: GameStop is one of them. There are other companies out
- 17:35Speaker 1: there that are also aging out. It's interesting and mentioned Apple,
- 17:38Speaker 1: but the point being is is that they're getting fewer
- 17:41Speaker 1: and fewer opportunities to make it. So maybe the financial
- 17:44Speaker 1: products is the way to go. That could pivot. Remember
- 17:48Speaker 1: the number one company holding bitcoin right now, that's like
- 17:51Speaker 1: that is micro strategy. They pivoted out of a tech
- 17:53Speaker 1: company into a financial strategy company utilizing bitcoin as the backbone.
- 17:58Speaker 1: So once that we see that pivot her, can it
- 18:01Speaker 1: be replicated much like what micro strategy has done. I
- 18:04Speaker 1: think that is the question to ask right now. This
- 18:08Speaker 1: is going to be another clip talking about that during
- 18:11Speaker 1: these kind of things, when we see these crashes, these impacts,
- 18:15Speaker 1: is remember April second, just around the corner here next week,
- 18:19Speaker 1: be ready for some volatility, guys, So this could open
- 18:21Speaker 1: up some opportunities.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Take a look at this clip.
- 18:24Speaker 8: I think the market clearly like the idea that tariffs
- 18:26Speaker 8: were going to be targeted versus widespread. But to your point,
- 18:29Speaker 8: we don't really know what that means yet, right, So
- 18:31Speaker 8: that'll play out in the next couple of days, and
- 18:32Speaker 8: I expect volatility to continue there. What I will say though,
- 18:37Speaker 8: is that markets like this almost all of the time,
- 18:39Speaker 8: end up being buying opportunities. On these days where you
- 18:42Speaker 8: get S and P New Year correction territory and correction territory,
- 18:45Speaker 8: NAZAC and correction territory. This is how you know long
- 18:48Speaker 8: term dollar cost averaging tends to play out if you're
- 18:51Speaker 8: kind of a buyer on those days.
- 18:53Speaker 7: It begs a question Is this just a.
- 18:56Speaker 2: A rally from a tradable bottom.
- 18:58Speaker 10: Do you think that you you could, for example, buy today?
- 19:02Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean I think so. March thirteenth, we hit
- 19:05Speaker 8: that fifty five hundred level, right and now we're back.
- 19:08Speaker 8: We're right back at the two hundred day moving average,
- 19:10Speaker 8: and we're about six percent off of the February nineteenth high.
- 19:13Speaker 8: So I still think you can buy today.
- 19:15Speaker 3: All right?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Coming off that clip right there, you've got to take
- 19:17Speaker 1: a look at this just in the S and P
- 19:19Speaker 1: and this is the reversal she's talking about, because this
- 19:22Speaker 1: hit down into her trading zone.
- 19:23Speaker 2: And if you look at just the goal or the
- 19:25Speaker 2: growth that we've.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Seen over since March thirteenth, where the market is holding
- 19:29Speaker 1: right now, that's still a three and a half percent
- 19:32Speaker 1: in a very short trading period. So remember a lot
- 19:34Speaker 1: of these guys are trading on one, two three percent
- 19:37Speaker 1: moves here. You look at that in comparison to over time. Yes,
- 19:42Speaker 1: this has been an up only market, So have we
- 19:44Speaker 1: reached the bottom. A couple other indicators to watch is
- 19:47Speaker 1: this one right here. This comes in from a tweet
- 19:50Speaker 1: and they're talking about this signal and this is a
- 19:52Speaker 1: hash ribbon indicator that and Tim from Investing Bros. Talks
- 19:56Speaker 1: about this a lot on our channel. I'll get Evan
- 19:59Speaker 1: to talk about this as well. But the point being
- 20:01Speaker 1: is that this seventy six k could have been the
- 20:03Speaker 1: local bottom for bitcoin and if that is the case, guys,
- 20:06Speaker 1: then we're going to see a reversal. Now, there is
- 20:08Speaker 1: one caveat to that, and that would be, of course,
- 20:10Speaker 1: in any trading strategy, if we see macro input, that
- 20:15Speaker 1: starts to crush the market, and that's where the tariffs
- 20:19Speaker 1: come in.
- 20:19Speaker 2: That matters.
