- 0:16Speaker 3: Thanks for the map. Indeed, indeed, hey guys, Hey, my
- 0:22Speaker 3: name is Marcus Smooth. My name is miss Lair Bravado.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Are you feeling miss Leary? I'm good, you look well
- 0:30Speaker 2: known that popping thank you?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Mm I died my week. I say, you know the
- 0:39Speaker 3: new look.
- 0:39Speaker 2: What color is that?
- 0:41Speaker 3: It's like an auburn red.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Like run you better do it work?
- 0:56Speaker 4: How mood?
- 1:00Speaker 5: Mood?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Let's see, Well, I don't know. I don't know how
- 1:03Speaker 2: I feel. See, I was feeling even but then you know,
- 1:08Speaker 2: turned on CNBC and they on there right now discussing
- 1:13Speaker 2: UFOs in common. Do you see this ship?
- 1:17Speaker 3: Like right now, I get catch some.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Like real life UFOs.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Can I put a picture of an alien on my
- 1:30Speaker 3: on my face? I can't think you okay, because that
- 1:35Speaker 3: was all up and down my timeline. Everybody's talking about
- 1:38Speaker 3: they want to smoke zie with the aliens, and I
- 1:42Speaker 3: want what the aliens look like i'ma I'm gonna get
- 1:45Speaker 3: I'm gonna make one of the aliens my baby father,
- 1:48Speaker 3: all types of wild ship like y'all are crazy.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and see that's probably why they don't want us
- 1:55Speaker 2: to know. But it's like they're not even not really
- 1:59Speaker 2: like they're on they're really talking to convers fight now going.
- 2:03Speaker 2: So I don't want to say there ain't aliens, but
- 2:06Speaker 2: I don't want to say there are, so like what
- 2:10Speaker 2: like give me something, all right?
- 2:14Speaker 3: But no, I don't want no parts. Okay, I don't
- 2:18Speaker 3: see way too many sci fi movies to know what
- 2:20Speaker 3: are got to run the other way?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Hold on, what if the D is like really good,
- 2:26Speaker 2: it's like the alien D.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Nah, I'm good on all that put me in a bunker. Baby,
- 2:33Speaker 3: I don't want no parts, I'm telling.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You all right, So professionally my food would be okay.
- 2:47Speaker 2: So I don't want aggressions, especially at work and at workplaces.
- 2:52Speaker 2: And my one of my supervisors does this weird thing.
- 2:57Speaker 2: He does microaggressions all the time, but like his microaggressions
- 3:01Speaker 2: became like a real like just blatant shit like he okay,
- 3:06Speaker 2: So yeah it is like so on, let's say the
- 3:10Speaker 2: digital sales board for the salespeople that we work with.
- 3:14Speaker 2: He put up there number of times I'm sorry. He
- 3:19Speaker 2: has like a counter and at the top of the
- 3:21Speaker 2: counter it says, you know how long it's been since
- 3:26Speaker 2: the last mistake, And he has like a ticker, so
- 3:29Speaker 2: he had the running throughout the day. So eventually, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 2: it's like, oh, well, every time somebody makes a mistake,
- 3:35Speaker 2: we're going to reset this and redo it. And it's like,
- 3:39Speaker 2: so why are we, like, what was the plan for
- 3:43Speaker 2: this to work? Because I sent him an issue then
- 3:46Speaker 2: he was like, restart the cloud. This is again not
- 3:49Speaker 2: my issue. My job is to make sure that other
- 3:52Speaker 2: people don't make mistakes. But as I'm saying, and he's like, well,
- 3:57Speaker 2: I guess I should just forget about the counter. What
- 4:01Speaker 2: was the plan, dude? Like, I mean, are you expecting
- 4:07Speaker 2: people to look up there and go hmmm, I guess
- 4:11Speaker 2: I feel bad for being the one that made a mistake,
- 4:13Speaker 2: Like what is.
- 4:16Speaker 3: In school a lot Danny people like that who got
- 4:20Speaker 3: to go like that extra amount of being an asshole?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yeah, light in school because I felt like, you know,
- 4:29Speaker 2: I felt I was I was looking at like I
- 4:32Speaker 2: felt like at first, of course I laughed, But then
- 4:34Speaker 2: I felt like, Okay, you're sitting here and you're doing
- 4:37Speaker 2: all of this for what reason, because it's not like
- 4:41Speaker 2: it's inspire people to do better. Like if you if
- 4:45Speaker 2: your team is making that many mistakes where you need
- 4:48Speaker 2: a counter, then something should be addressed about your style
- 4:53Speaker 2: of management. Don't you like that's reflective of you and
- 4:59Speaker 2: your team? If you got to do this that third
- 5:02Speaker 2: to track how many mistakes that everybody's making, something it
- 5:08Speaker 2: all the way together, right?
- 5:10Speaker 3: How about do some retraining with the people that you're
- 5:14Speaker 3: responsible for that.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You can do that.
- 5:17Speaker 6: I mean.
- 5:19Speaker 2: You could do that, or you could sit here and
- 5:21Speaker 2: send nasty grounds all day. You could sit here and
- 5:25Speaker 2: do like it's ship like that personalist, I would say
- 5:29Speaker 2: that I'm good. I'm reflective because of therapy. I'm telling
- 5:32Speaker 2: you Black therapists shouts out to y'all. It's so much
- 5:37Speaker 2: easier to pick apart in issue and dissect that bitch
- 5:41Speaker 2: when you don't have to stop every time to talk
- 5:44Speaker 2: to explain something to someone, or you know, be like
- 5:48Speaker 2: you know something that's within the black community, or something
- 5:51Speaker 2: that you don't have to deal.
- 5:53Speaker 7: With, or just the overall bullshit that we have to
- 5:56Speaker 7: deal with right now, you know, political tone and everything
- 6:00Speaker 7: going on.
- 6:02Speaker 8: Y'all.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Y'all are the real MVPs we need to be for
- 6:05Speaker 2: the next however long we on this bitch, Well, I
- 6:08Speaker 2: got really yeah, what happens?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Nothing, that's the problem. She been skipping out on our
- 6:18Speaker 3: sessions and stuff. And I haven't had a session in
- 6:20Speaker 3: a minute, so I'm like, yeah, she been skipping. I'm like,
- 6:26Speaker 3: y'all need to get it together.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Usually it's the other way around.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Usually like.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Promped with my appointments and how I like to keep
- 6:36Speaker 3: my schedule and what I say I'm going to do,
- 6:39Speaker 3: I do it. But come on now, like every time
- 6:45Speaker 3: I have an appointment, Oh, you got to reschedule. You gotta. Oh,
- 6:48Speaker 3: she's she's out of the office. Something happened, she had
- 6:52Speaker 3: to leave, this, that, and the third. I'm like, it's
- 6:54Speaker 3: it's too much.
- 6:55Speaker 2: So I'm there because do you want to be when
- 7:03Speaker 2: you grow up?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Well, you're not my therapist, that's for sure. Excuse me,
- 7:13Speaker 3: but I do want to be like doctor Tricia Bailey who.
- 7:19Speaker 3: She is a Jamaican born and American residing founder and
- 7:23Speaker 3: CEO of the renowned Bailey's Pharmacy and Medical supplies and equipment.
- 7:28Speaker 3: She is the richest Jamaican born woman or net worth
- 7:34Speaker 3: is seven hundred million, Big Dallas baby and not bar twenty.
- 7:44Speaker 3: She is the former star athlete for the University of Connecticut.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Despite experiencing the many obstacles, trauma, and challenges many young
- 7:53Speaker 3: black women face, including poverty, abuse, and domestic violence, she
- 7:59Speaker 3: opened up her own business and never looked back. And
- 8:02Speaker 3: I love that for her. She also has a book
- 8:05Speaker 3: on Amazon.
- 8:07Speaker 2: It's nice.
- 8:08Speaker 3: It's entitled Unbroken, The Triumphant Story of a Woman's Journey.
- 8:13Speaker 3: So if you guys want to check that out on
- 8:17Speaker 3: Black Friday sales work. Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 2: When I grow up, I want to be like VP
- 8:24Speaker 2: Harris because the woman she is a black man. Her
- 8:30Speaker 2: I see a powerful role model like and I mean
- 8:34Speaker 2: I have them as a black man, but just to
- 8:36Speaker 2: see a black woman, it's especially a different kind of
- 8:40Speaker 2: a tone for me. I see a powerful role model.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You know, she like, she's resilient, she's intelligent, she's she
- 8:51Speaker 2: has like this strailblazing spirit spirit. He's not just the
- 8:56Speaker 2: first woman of color to be a VP, but she's
- 8:59Speaker 2: a testament breaking barriers and shattering ceilings in a world
- 9:03Speaker 2: that often tries to limit us, especially especially women.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yep, yeah, so I love that.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Do you know from her roots? You know she You
- 9:14Speaker 2: always hear her talk about her roots. You always hear
- 9:17Speaker 2: her talk about her upbringing. It's just astonishing to watch.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And I love that she took both an emotional and
- 9:25Speaker 2: a professional from this election. And I admire that she
- 9:28Speaker 2: still hasn't let that stop her. She's still out here
- 9:32Speaker 2: in the community making things happen, and that, in and
- 9:35Speaker 2: of itself gives me a little bit more motivation to
- 9:39Speaker 2: continue on, even though kind of feel this even tone
- 9:44Speaker 2: of defeated right now. But yeah, to you.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Just don't be watching no more Kyla Greens in the bathtub?
- 9:51Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 9:57Speaker 3: But did you know you don't do that? We don't
- 10:00Speaker 3: do that.
- 10:01Speaker 2: We don't. Apparently people do. And I've seen videos. I
- 10:06Speaker 2: even reposted this video of somebody doing that.
- 10:10Speaker 3: What is wrong? I do not know where that came from.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I don't my granmy ain't do that. Ain't do that.
- 10:18Speaker 3: None of them, none of my great aunties that I
- 10:21Speaker 3: know of, has ever done that. Where y'all getting this from?
- 10:25Speaker 2: And can you I can't even imagine this conversation in
- 10:29Speaker 2: a black household Mama, why you right, Oh baby, don't
- 10:36Speaker 2: take no shower yet. I got the dreams in their marinate.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I can't just saying that I don't want nothing.
- 10:46Speaker 2: M we hate it all right, So you ready for
- 10:52Speaker 2: the letters up next? I got I got to really
- 10:56Speaker 2: juicy ones. And we may have taken a week off, but.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Y'all had not, absolutely have not.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're lyric up next. We'll do right back.
- 11:08Speaker 9: I'm fun to go to jail. And I'll tell you
- 11:10Speaker 9: why I'm fun to go to jail. I was just
- 11:12Speaker 9: inside Walmart. I was just inside fucking Walmart, and this
- 11:17Speaker 9: wonderful sweet lady was working and she was shutting down
- 11:23Speaker 9: all of the self checkouts. And the reason why she
- 11:26Speaker 9: was shutting down all the self checkouts now, mind you,
- 11:27Speaker 9: I'm on a self checkout, rung out my stuff. And
- 11:31Speaker 9: I looked at her and I said, sweety, I'm almost done.
- 11:32Speaker 9: She said, honey, to take your time. She said, I'm
- 11:35Speaker 9: just not gonna deal with this disrespect anymore.
- 11:38Speaker 3: So I kind of looked at her.
- 11:39Speaker 9: She's a sweet, older black woman, and I kind of
- 11:41Speaker 9: looked at her and I said, what's going on? And
- 11:43Speaker 9: she said, with tears in her fucking eyes. She told
- 11:47Speaker 9: me that this woman was ringing up her stuff. And
- 11:50Speaker 9: you know how sometimes when you ring up too fast
- 11:51Speaker 9: you get that little neat attendant type shit that pops
- 11:54Speaker 9: up on the self scanned shit. Well, apparently this woman
- 11:57Speaker 9: did not come over fast enough the you know, the attendant.
- 12:01Speaker 9: She did not come over fast enough. And this fucking
- 12:04Speaker 9: woman said, hmm, hurry the fuck up, you black bitch.
- 12:12Speaker 9: That's why you're about to be back in the field.
- 12:17Speaker 9: These fucking people are getting too emboldened after Tuesday. Not
- 12:23Speaker 9: only that, she told the woman she was gonna be
- 12:25Speaker 9: waiting outside for her to get off work. Now, mind you,
- 12:29Speaker 9: this woman gets off in about five fucking minutes. So
- 12:31Speaker 9: I am sitting my happy ass right the fuck outside
- 12:34Speaker 9: waiting because, so help me God, if that sweet woman
- 12:38Speaker 9: does not make it to her fucking car safely in
- 12:42Speaker 9: one fucking piece, I will be on the seven o'clock news.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Now.
- 12:48Speaker 9: I asked her if she wanted me to walk her
- 12:50Speaker 9: to her car. Said, I have no problem walking you
- 12:51Speaker 9: to your car, sweetheart, I said, because please, let a
- 12:54Speaker 9: bitch try. Let a bitch try.
- 12:56Speaker 3: She said no, she could take it. She said no,
- 12:58Speaker 3: she she could handle herself.
- 13:01Speaker 9: And that you know her her son was just killed recently,
- 13:06Speaker 9: and she has a lot of real resilience and a
- 13:09Speaker 9: lot of strength.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Well sold the fuck do?
- 13:11Speaker 10: I sold the fuck do.
- 13:12Speaker 9: I I'm waiting, I'm waiting. I'm just watching the door,
- 13:16Speaker 9: waiting for her to leave work. She gets off, she said,
- 13:19Speaker 9: in about five minutes. I'm waiting because I fucking swear
- 13:23Speaker 9: for God. I swear for God. Y'all don't fucking understand
- 13:28Speaker 9: how emboldened these bitches have gotten after this fucking election.
- 13:31Speaker 3: And I understand. No, I don't. I don't.
- 13:36Speaker 9: I'm not even gonna say I understand people have difference
- 13:38Speaker 9: of opinions, because when the difference of opinions come at
- 13:41Speaker 9: the fucking I can't even talk.
- 13:45Speaker 3: I'm so fucking mad. This is what y'all voted for.
- 13:49Speaker 9: This hate, this fucking hate is what y'all voted for.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And I fucking hope y'all are fucking happy.
- 13:55Speaker 11: I didn't have a good enough view, so I'm standing outside.
- 13:58Speaker 11: I'm standing outside by both doors, so and make sure
- 14:00Speaker 11: I see this woman safely through her car, just waiting,
- 14:06Speaker 11: just fucking waiting.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You should, but definitely she would.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, you guys, It's your girl, miss Lyric,
- 14:16Speaker 3: and I'm back with my segment if it were Lyric,
- 14:18Speaker 3: where I discuss your relationships, situationships, friendships, and everything else
- 14:23Speaker 3: in between and give my two cents about it. If
- 14:26Speaker 3: you guys want to continue to send me your advice questions,
- 14:30Speaker 3: please send them to my email at ler Gravado at
- 14:34Speaker 3: gmail dot com. So sorry, I am no longer going
- 14:37Speaker 3: to be accepting any dms on my social media platforms,
- 14:41Speaker 3: but you all can send them to my Gmail and
- 14:44Speaker 3: I'll be more than happy to address them. Now let's
- 14:47Speaker 3: get started, shall we We shall?
- 14:50Speaker 2: So, like I said, they had been easy. This one
- 14:53Speaker 2: A subject line says, help my secrets out and my
- 14:56Speaker 2: man's about to leave. Oh all right, hey Lyric, I
- 15:01Speaker 2: hope you're ready for a wild ride because I know,
- 15:03Speaker 2: I know y'all gonna clown me, but I need to
- 15:05Speaker 2: know what you would do. So here's a school lady
- 15:09Speaker 2: in my late twenties and I've been having a blast
- 15:12Speaker 2: with my man. We've got this super spicy thing going on.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Let's just say I'm a fanl in his ass during
- 15:20Speaker 2: our intimate moments. No, I don't want to hear your judgment.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah I know, everybody's cup of tea. But hey, different
- 15:28Speaker 2: strokes for different folks, right, that's what y'all said. Well,
- 15:32Speaker 2: in a moment of not so great judgment, I shared
- 15:35Speaker 2: this little titbit with a couple of my friends, thinking
- 15:37Speaker 2: it was just girl talk. Fast forward up to now
- 15:42Speaker 2: and somehow everybody, including him, and let me tell you,
- 15:48Speaker 2: his reaction was like, I just told him I was
- 15:50Speaker 2: about I was planning to run for president on ass liquors.
- 15:56Speaker 2: He has been acting all weird and distant and I
- 16:00Speaker 2: I can practically feel him trying to ghost me, like
- 16:02Speaker 2: I'm a bad tender date. So here, I am reaching
- 16:04Speaker 2: out to you because you got the witting wisdom to
- 16:07Speaker 2: help a girl out if you were in my shoes,
- 16:10Speaker 2: wuld you do? Should I call him up and say, hey, babe,
- 16:13Speaker 2: didn't mean for my ass looking I have on go viral?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Or should I just stealing his embarrassment? I really don't
- 16:22Speaker 2: want to lose him over something that was meant to
- 16:24Speaker 2: be fun in private. Help a girl out, Lyric. I
- 16:26Speaker 2: need your advice before I end up on the next
- 16:28Speaker 2: episode of Worst break Up Ever storied. Xoxoania.
- 16:33Speaker 3: First of all, that's what you get of opening your
- 16:38Speaker 3: mouth to people who you don't know that you could trust,
- 16:42Speaker 3: Like if that's not bestie, that'll hold it down until
- 16:44Speaker 3: the day you died in that casket and still hold
- 16:47Speaker 3: that secret. You don't tell everybody your business, wow, because
- 16:53Speaker 3: certain people cannot be trusted.
- 16:55Speaker 2: They cannot at all at all.
- 16:59Speaker 3: You tell him one day and their mouth overflows like water. No,
- 17:06Speaker 3: hopefully now I know, and so everybody, But yeah, I
- 17:18Speaker 3: hope this is a lesson learned to like, stop over
- 17:22Speaker 3: sharing everything all the time. Some things are meant to
- 17:25Speaker 3: just keep within your relationship. You don't have to tell
- 17:28Speaker 3: everybody your bedroom business. If you want to share something,
- 17:32Speaker 3: share how he's treating you, Share you know what nice
- 17:36Speaker 3: event y'all both went to, and stuff like that, like
- 17:39Speaker 3: sharing what goes on behind closed doors. For one, it
- 17:43Speaker 3: opens you up to a lot of suspect activities where
- 17:47Speaker 3: your friends wanting to know more about your man because
- 17:52Speaker 3: you done said how good his d is and all
- 17:54Speaker 3: of that stuff and what type of freaky shit y'all
- 17:56Speaker 3: got going on? And now they want they curious, they
- 17:59Speaker 3: want to know, they want to test out the waters.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Nobody was about to get the butt licking girls.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Listen, just giving an example of what happens when you
- 18:10Speaker 3: overshare lays with the bedroom like, no, keep that to yourself,
- 18:19Speaker 3: talk amongst you and your man or whoever that you're with,
- 18:24Speaker 3: and leave it at that. Hope this is a lesson learned.
- 18:29Speaker 3: As far as what to do with him, you need
- 18:32Speaker 3: to apologize because you had no business run in your
- 18:35Speaker 3: mouth in the first place. I don't know if he
- 18:38Speaker 3: will be open to accepting your apology, but at least
- 18:42Speaker 3: put it out there, and don't just apologize. Put it
- 18:45Speaker 3: out past Astley. But if you're going to kidding, see
- 18:56Speaker 3: what I did there again. If you're going to do it,
- 19:00Speaker 3: mean it. And hopefully y'all can have a conversation where
- 19:04Speaker 3: you can assure him that you learned your lesson and
- 19:07Speaker 3: you'll never do it again, and y'all can commence to
- 19:10Speaker 3: but licking activities.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Go off more, Let's go off? All right?
- 19:17Speaker 3: Right, all right?
- 19:21Speaker 2: This one subject needs some advice. All right, Hey, Lyric, Hey,
- 19:27Speaker 2: y'all looking for a podcast or advice? Call him to
- 19:30Speaker 2: send this bullshit too, because I don't have the money
- 19:32Speaker 2: or time for therapy. So here's so here's the t
- 19:38Speaker 2: I'm a non binary bad bitch that pays my own
- 19:41Speaker 2: bills and hustles hard. I work part time as a
- 19:44Speaker 2: process server, you know, the folks who deliver legal papers,
- 19:48Speaker 2: and I recently had to deliver some child support lawsuit
- 19:51Speaker 2: papers to my friend's cousin.
- 19:54Speaker 3: Here's the kicker.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I didn't know the cousin's actual name. I only knew
- 19:59Speaker 2: Himbo his nickname. We'll just call him Little J. I
- 20:02Speaker 2: thought I I was just doing my job, but little
- 20:06Speaker 2: did I know this would cause some serious drama in
- 20:09Speaker 2: my social circle. When I handed over the papers, things
- 20:12Speaker 2: got awkward real quick.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Well.
- 20:14Speaker 2: They didn't realize who I was and thought that I
- 20:17Speaker 2: was just some random person bringing him bad news. Now
- 20:20Speaker 2: he's upset, and it turns out he's told the whole
- 20:23Speaker 2: family that I'm quote messing with his best This has
- 20:27Speaker 2: spiraled into a whole situation where my bestie is now
- 20:29Speaker 2: caught in the middle and he's and it's making everything
- 20:32Speaker 2: so uncomfortable. To make matters worse, Bestie has been doing
- 20:36Speaker 2: the most lately. She's been avoiding me at get togethers,
- 20:40Speaker 2: acting weird when I show up, and even tried to
- 20:42Speaker 2: convince the group to quote take a break from hanging
- 20:45Speaker 2: out with me until things quote cool down. She keeps saying,
- 20:51Speaker 2: I should have done more research before delivering those papers,
- 20:54Speaker 2: but honestly, I didn't think it would blow up like this.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Now I'm feeling some type of way about it about
- 21:01Speaker 2: it all, I don't want to lose my friendships over
- 21:04Speaker 2: a job. But I also don't want to be the
- 21:05Speaker 2: one everybody's side eyeing at the next book out. What
- 21:09Speaker 2: would you do in my shoes? How can I move
- 21:11Speaker 2: things over a little Jay and my bestie without adding
- 21:14Speaker 2: more fuel to the fire. Thanks Ameliam for your help.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I'm sure you'll have more solid advice to help me
- 21:20Speaker 2: navigate this mess. Much love, Harry girl.
- 21:23Speaker 3: What I want to say is, fuck that girl. You
- 21:27Speaker 3: did your job, Like what the hell? That's how you
- 21:31Speaker 3: pay your rent. That's how you were able to survive
- 21:34Speaker 3: out here, and it's hard out here, Like not everybody
- 21:38Speaker 3: can say that they got employment. So what's that all about.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It's not like you were trying to be messy and
- 21:44Speaker 3: you volunteered. Let me go do this real quick to
- 21:47Speaker 3: like wreck have it. You are employed. That is your
- 21:52Speaker 3: job to do that, and it is not your job
- 21:54Speaker 3: to research whose papers and this that and the third. No,
- 21:58Speaker 3: you're supposed to handle deliver certain paperwork to people, and
- 22:03Speaker 3: that's that, like, and for the friend to like not
- 22:07Speaker 3: understand that, it's a little weird to me, Like.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Yeah, the cousin is doing the most because I mean you,
- 22:15Speaker 2: it's not like she drew up the papers. It's not
- 22:18Speaker 2: like Terry drew up the papers themselves and was like,
- 22:22Speaker 2: hey girl, so you go like you obviously were you
- 22:27Speaker 2: have your own separate situation outside.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Right, it's a lot of misplaced anger, it is. Let's
- 22:35Speaker 3: let's start there, because first of all, why are you
- 22:39Speaker 3: getting child support papers? That's something that you need to
- 22:44Speaker 3: address with the mother of your child or children. I'm
- 22:49Speaker 3: not the person who delivered the papers. That's just a
- 22:51Speaker 3: cop out. Don't use don't let them use you as
- 22:54Speaker 3: no damn skategoat, because that's what they're doing. And the
- 22:57Speaker 3: friend who's like being weird and acting like the whole
- 23:02Speaker 3: friend circle needs to avoid you now and take a
- 23:05Speaker 3: break from you bye, because those are not the type
- 23:10Speaker 3: of people that you need to be around. If the
- 23:13Speaker 3: first time something happens, you don't have unders, you're not
- 23:16Speaker 3: met with understanding, and you're not giving grace about something
- 23:19Speaker 3: that you had no control over. You don't need those
- 23:22Speaker 3: type of friends.
- 23:22Speaker 2: That way, I don't think Terry did anything wrong. Who
- 23:27Speaker 2: I say, I don't think Terry did anything wrong? Oh yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 2: I mean you were just doing the job, you know.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Job.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Yes, there's a lot of rough jobs that people you know,
- 23:40Speaker 3: have to unfortunately have that other people don't like. But
- 23:46Speaker 3: it's a job. Are they gonna help you try to
- 23:49Speaker 3: find something else? Are they gonna pay your rent? Are
- 23:51Speaker 3: they gonna pay your carnal? Or are they gonna make
- 23:53Speaker 3: sure that you eat every day? No? No, no, When
- 23:57Speaker 3: it all boils down to it, no childish. Let them
- 24:02Speaker 3: be childish over there, and you continue on doing what
- 24:05Speaker 3: you know you need to do for yourself.
- 24:07Speaker 2: There you go.
- 24:08Speaker 3: That's what I would do. Period. And now for the
- 24:14Speaker 3: final one. This one wants to be anonymous. So okay,
- 24:22Speaker 3: all right. It says, hey, Lyric, can you please help
- 24:26Speaker 3: me with this Thanksgiving disaster?
- 24:30Speaker 2: Oh?
- 24:32Speaker 3: I made plans to spend Thanksgiving with my boyfriend and
- 24:35Speaker 3: his parents a month ago. Yesterday he told me his
- 24:40Speaker 3: parents invited his ex girlfriend to the Thanksgiving dinner. The
- 24:45Speaker 3: ex and the mom are really close. The ex is
- 24:48Speaker 3: going through a hard time with her family. Do I
- 24:51Speaker 3: ditch to avoid awkwardness and the possibility that I won't
- 24:54Speaker 3: have a nice, relaxing holiday. Or do I go and
- 24:57Speaker 3: be pleasant, mature and accept an accepting I realized that
- 25:02Speaker 3: the excess issues are bigger than me wanting to have
- 25:05Speaker 3: an enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner. And we've been together for seven months.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I was looking forward to spending our first big holiday together.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Now I'm not so excited.
- 25:16Speaker 2: What should I do.
- 25:20Speaker 3: The trauma? Wow, I tell you what I would do
- 25:26Speaker 3: if it was me, hair with face beat fly. I'm going.
- 25:34Speaker 12: Why and geing, Because, first of all, a lot of y'all,
- 25:43Speaker 12: it depends on what you're dating and your angle is.
- 25:48Speaker 3: If you're just casually dating, which it doesn't sound like
- 25:50Speaker 3: y'all are doing, then girls stay home, go somewhere else,
- 25:55Speaker 3: have a friends given at your house. But if you're
- 25:57Speaker 3: dating with the intent of marriage, I'm going fuck you mean,
- 26:03Speaker 3: I'm putting on me a cute little outfit, pulling something together. Yeah,
- 26:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna be stunning the entire nights, and I'm gonna
- 26:11Speaker 3: bring a gift because that's the type.
- 26:15Speaker 9: Of how how you how you doing nice to me?
- 26:23Speaker 4: Call of that?
- 26:24Speaker 3: Bring the shady ass, mama, some flowers, bottle of wine. Yeah,
- 26:32Speaker 3: that's what I'm gonna do. Girl, pull up. No unless
- 26:38Speaker 3: you are very uncomfortable about the situation, because honestly it is.
- 26:43Speaker 3: It can be a lose lose situation if you tell.
- 26:47Speaker 3: If you tell your boyfriend, oh that's not cool, bah
- 26:50Speaker 3: bah blah, this, that and the third and you try
- 26:53Speaker 3: to talk to his mom, she might look at you different.
- 26:56Speaker 3: It's just weird. It's too many variables. So me be
- 27:00Speaker 3: a me girl. I'm going period, be nice and polite,
- 27:07Speaker 3: and you might be able to find some extra tea
- 27:13Speaker 3: mm hmmm, family or you know, at least you'll know.
- 27:18Speaker 3: But I'm meeting everybody. Hey, how you doing?
- 27:20Speaker 2: Hi?
- 27:20Speaker 3: Grandma? Oh she's sleeping a chair. Okay, nice? Oh y'all
- 27:28Speaker 3: about to go take a smoke? Smoke break? Bet? Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 3: I'm pulling up.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I'm going why.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Because that's what the cousins do at Thanksgiving? Did you
- 27:39Speaker 3: not know that they all have.
- 27:42Speaker 2: That's why your grandma's they have a humpback.
- 27:46Speaker 3: They all meet up after they eat or before they eat,
- 27:49Speaker 3: and they go take a walk outside. That walk outside
- 27:52Speaker 3: includes smoking. If you did not know, now you know, yeah,
- 27:59Speaker 3: yeah that's what.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I would you, girl.
- 28:03Speaker 3: I sure would. And if you if you don't think
- 28:06Speaker 3: that you are a fit in his family and whatever,
- 28:09Speaker 3: just keep that in the back of your mind and
- 28:11Speaker 3: see how things play out. Because, like I said, if
- 28:14Speaker 3: y'all are dating with the intent of getting married, which
- 28:18Speaker 3: not a lot of y'all doing nowadays, but if that's
- 28:21Speaker 3: what y'all doing, you get a look at what his
- 28:25Speaker 3: family is like. So look at it like that, because
- 28:31Speaker 3: at the end of the day, he might have a
- 28:33Speaker 3: cousin that you don't like or auntie that looks you
- 28:36Speaker 3: up and down and says, m you know, you just
- 28:42Speaker 3: gotta figure it out.
- 28:45Speaker 2: There, you go, Yan, we help people I have this week.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Like I said, don't DM me mm hmm, but email
- 28:56Speaker 3: me lar Gerado at gmail dot com. I'll be more
- 29:00Speaker 3: than happy to read your stories too. Next time.
- 29:05Speaker 2: All right, up, next trouble, the timeline be right back.
- 29:09Speaker 13: I just want to say thank you, thank you to
- 29:14Speaker 13: the black women in this country, and I'm so sorry.
- 29:21Speaker 6: I'm so sorry that we failed you. You never failed
- 29:35Speaker 6: to show up to save people. And they don't listen.
- 29:45Speaker 6: They don't listen. They take your support for granted. I
- 29:54Speaker 6: want you to know that I appreciate you and I
- 30:00Speaker 6: will always stand with you.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Harry Blacks were back and let's kick this thing off
- 30:09Speaker 2: right trolling the timeline Tyson verses all miss Lyric Now,
- 30:16Speaker 2: So we were all seated in front of the TV
- 30:19Speaker 2: as it was buffering over and over and over and over.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Netflix get together. Which thing?
- 30:27Speaker 3: First of all, Netflix is trifling his ship because I
- 30:32Speaker 3: missed that second round and I heard he actually slid
- 30:35Speaker 3: him a little bit. Oh, but that was the reason
- 30:39Speaker 3: why he was biting that glove because he really wanted
- 30:41Speaker 3: to punish him, but he knew he couldn't because he
- 30:42Speaker 3: wouldn't have got that money that he got.
- 30:46Speaker 14: Yeah, we know, I thought that the glove According to
- 30:51Speaker 14: the interviews, they were saying that the glove biting thing,
- 30:55Speaker 14: Tyson staple and I can remember him doing that as
- 30:59Speaker 14: I think.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Back to fights and stuff. I can remember him chewing
- 31:02Speaker 2: on gloves and stuff. And I just I guess I
- 31:05Speaker 2: never really paid attention to it until I was, you know,
- 31:09Speaker 2: on social media and people were talking about it. But
- 31:13Speaker 2: that was that was a mess. Like first off, we
- 31:17Speaker 2: all knew it was exhibitions, of course, I mean it
- 31:20Speaker 2: was a ass commercial from start to finish from the
- 31:24Speaker 2: people that they chose to talk to all the way
- 31:27Speaker 2: down to everything, and I mean, this is just setting
- 31:30Speaker 2: them up. I think that I could not run for them,
- 31:33Speaker 2: to be honest with you, because you know, there's supposed
- 31:35Speaker 2: to be a streamers name on on Christmas Day, okay,
- 31:41Speaker 2: and it's gonna be there and all this other stuff.
- 31:45Speaker 3: So okay, I just want to say, let's be clear,
- 31:50Speaker 3: fifty eight or that if it wasn't about a bag,
- 31:57Speaker 3: Tyson would have knocked that boy's block off. Let's be real.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Oh I'm chattering talk about something. Oh he's old now,
- 32:07Speaker 3: and this, that and the third. Y'all gotta look at
- 32:09Speaker 3: the big picture of twenty million dollars. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 32:13Speaker 3: act old too. Shit, you're lucky. I don't wobble in
- 32:17Speaker 3: that joint with a with a cane. I'm gonna act
- 32:19Speaker 3: real old for twenty million dollars y'all thought. Y'all thought
- 32:26Speaker 3: this was for real. No, it was for a dag
- 32:29Speaker 3: and a lot of people didn't like don't realize that,
- 32:33Speaker 3: especially like a lot of young people like y'all really
- 32:37Speaker 3: don't know who Mike Tyson is and his legacy. Like
- 32:40Speaker 3: your research before you comment on social media.
- 32:44Speaker 2: With Mike Tyson. I understand that was okay. Boxing, That
- 32:48Speaker 2: was probably the only sport that I even liked growing up,
- 32:52Speaker 2: and I mean for all the wrong reasons, but just
- 32:58Speaker 2: to watch Mike growing up. Like Mike has done a
- 33:01Speaker 2: lot of growings. And I think a lot of people
- 33:03Speaker 2: had this session and they were looking for that old nigga.
- 33:08Speaker 2: He ain't here no more, He's not here. M So
- 33:13Speaker 2: I don't know whatever speaking of uh, I don't know.
- 33:21Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not even gonna try. But meet Mill,
- 33:24Speaker 2: you know, bye, I take I take it your own happy.
- 33:36Speaker 4: All right.
- 33:36Speaker 2: So those of y'all that don't know meet Mill jumped
- 33:39Speaker 2: on Twitter the wizard did he well while he's sitting
- 33:43Speaker 2: in jail, And honestly, it's kind of wild. I mean, yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 2: we want to see our people. I mean, okay, like
- 33:50Speaker 2: we did, we see it differently than everybody else and
- 33:55Speaker 2: there you go, already we see it differently than everybodbody
- 34:00Speaker 2: else does. But I mean, you know, so maybe for him,
- 34:04Speaker 2: he wants to see if people do better. But this
- 34:06Speaker 2: is just a classic case of people sticking together even
- 34:08Speaker 2: when they shouldn't. This is just a classic case. Do
- 34:13Speaker 2: you really want to be the person idiots will everything's okay,
- 34:19Speaker 2: of course, yes, like you want to.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 34:26Speaker 2: There ya go, there ya go. Speaking of poor she
- 34:36Speaker 2: here about the Wicked dolls.
- 34:39Speaker 9: No, so.
- 34:43Speaker 2: All right, these toys. You know that the Wicked movie
- 34:46Speaker 2: that's coming out or came.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Out, Yeah, I heard about it.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Well they of course dolls a whole dollar that came out, right,
- 34:58Speaker 2: So these dolls were supposed to be the next big thing.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You little dolls all the rage. Here's the kicker. Somebody
- 35:04Speaker 2: messed up and printed a link to a porn site
- 35:08Speaker 2: right on the box you are lying. So imagine parents
- 35:13Speaker 2: opening up a gift for their kids, all excited, only
- 35:15Speaker 2: to be hit with wait, what's this? And the link
- 35:19Speaker 2: was right there in insite. You know, kids are curious.
- 35:22Speaker 2: They're gonna be like, mom.
- 35:23Speaker 3: What's this website?
- 35:25Speaker 2: Like what? So now they're Wicked dolls and just dolls.
- 35:31Speaker 2: They're infamous, but it's a lesson for everybody, like the
- 35:35Speaker 2: proof reader ship before you put it out there. People, seriously,
- 35:39Speaker 2: a porn site we call.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Caller? Damn?
- 35:52Speaker 2: That's wild. What else happened in this world? What do
- 35:59Speaker 2: you what you got on your list? Anything interesting happened
- 36:03Speaker 2: this week?
- 36:03Speaker 3: Let's see prayers up to jay Leno. I sail and
- 36:13Speaker 3: fell down down hill and.
- 36:17Speaker 2: That ship looks violent. I think he might have had
- 36:22Speaker 2: been like one of the Magas and somebody probably Molly
- 36:25Speaker 2: WAPs done Aska that looked violent.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Side of his face is bruised. He was wearing an eyepatch.
- 36:33Speaker 3: He broke his wrist and also has lost a fingernail.
- 36:37Speaker 3: This comes after two years after he suffered severe burns
- 36:41Speaker 3: that required for him to get skin graps.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Not I've broken nail.
- 36:45Speaker 3: We need to need to handler at this point is
- 36:49Speaker 3: why are you doing this? Why is this happening? Like
- 36:55Speaker 3: I just didn't But the fact that he was still
- 36:58Speaker 3: able to do his show, kudos to him because I
- 37:01Speaker 3: would have canceled everything. Fu you leave my whole face
- 37:04Speaker 3: all fucked up.
- 37:06Speaker 2: His whole face looks like I thought, who hit jay Leno?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Because that's few white names I know, you know and
- 37:13Speaker 2: can match up with a face. But yeah, speaking of
- 37:20Speaker 2: old people that need to sit down, did you hear
- 37:23Speaker 2: Trump just elected I'm sorry, just nominated Linda McMahons as
- 37:27Speaker 2: the founder, Yeah, the founder, co founder actually of w
- 37:31Speaker 2: w E to be the education secretary. Like what education secretary?
- 37:41Speaker 2: Don't get me wrong, Linda, She's she's bustle and she's
- 37:45Speaker 2: business savvy. I mean she ran a major wrestling empire,
- 37:50Speaker 2: but education secretary. Really, that's like a wrestler in charge
- 37:56Speaker 2: of a library. Like, what are you doing? I wonder
- 38:00Speaker 2: how that's gonna play out when it comes to like,
- 38:03Speaker 2: you know, shape and policy feed a education and ship.
- 38:07Speaker 2: This ain't no wrestling ring. You just all of the day.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We've got children.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Congratulations America. You played yourself.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Goddamn referee walking around the classroom and ship, like, what
- 38:23Speaker 2: is happening? This feels like all of these all of.
- 38:30Speaker 15: This ship feels so we are stuntish, like I feel
- 38:34Speaker 15: like we're I feel like this is a storyline for
- 38:38Speaker 15: a very very awful reality show.
- 38:41Speaker 2: This cancer, this ship.
- 38:45Speaker 3: Speaking of reality show ship, Lisa Ray isn't it has
- 38:50Speaker 3: recently been in the news from her detailing what happened
- 38:56Speaker 3: between her and her former professional home wrecking friends Murphy,
- 39:04Speaker 3: who was sitting with her husband and she says she
- 39:08Speaker 3: almost tell her ass up for it wow on Carlos
- 39:16Speaker 3: King's podcast and opened up about learning that her former
- 39:20Speaker 3: friend Nicole Murphy was having an affair with her then
- 39:23Speaker 3: husband and says that she tried calling Nicole to confront her,
- 39:27Speaker 3: but Nicole stopped answering her calls, so the next best
- 39:32Speaker 3: thing for her to do was sendproof to Nicole's then fiance,
- 39:37Speaker 3: Michael motherfucking straight hand boom.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Wow.
- 39:45Speaker 3: When I say I gag greeting this and looking at that,
- 39:49Speaker 3: I was like, the first thing that came to my
- 39:54Speaker 3: mind was her line in the Player's Club, everybody out
- 40:00Speaker 3: the dressing.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Room please, oh listen, you really don't You don't hear
- 40:06Speaker 2: about her?
- 40:06Speaker 3: Oh she was mad mad and you can tell, like
- 40:10Speaker 3: it's sad though, because she's when you hear people talking
- 40:15Speaker 3: about things and they're not over it, you can read
- 40:18Speaker 3: it on their face and you can tell that this
- 40:21Speaker 3: is one of the things that really like hurt her
- 40:24Speaker 3: because she's still affected by it, Like you could tell
- 40:27Speaker 3: you could hear it in one of her voice and
- 40:28Speaker 3: you can see it on her face, like she still
- 40:31Speaker 3: carries some anger about this. And I feel like if
- 40:37Speaker 3: she ever saw Nicole Nicole Murphy in person on site,
- 40:44Speaker 3: on site, just for yeah, wow, because you played with me,
- 40:51Speaker 3: but okay, you miss Chicago.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Oh well. Speaking of scandalous celebrities, story worries Quincy and
- 41:00Speaker 2: Christian colmbs hit Hit, the author with the system assists
- 41:05Speaker 2: for writing to tell all book on behalf of the
- 41:07Speaker 2: quarter says the five days myself.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Child.
- 41:13Speaker 3: But come on, now, come on, there was no book,
- 41:19Speaker 3: There was no diary. There was nothing, which could all
- 41:23Speaker 3: be refuted in old interviews that Kim had. What she
- 41:27Speaker 3: was saying, I'm writing a book.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Kim was a I don't know last thing. They wanted
- 41:36Speaker 2: some random authors spilling tea and twisting there nothing. I
- 41:41Speaker 2: get it, and I get it when it comes to family.
- 41:43Speaker 2: You know you got a guard with yours. But you know,
- 41:46Speaker 2: so my mom, I'd be doing the same thing. But still,
- 41:50Speaker 2: but my thing is.
- 41:51Speaker 3: I don't know, I don't know. I think it's just weird.
- 41:54Speaker 3: This is my opinion. Uh why y'all not Why y'all
- 41:59Speaker 3: don't have the same energy for seeking justice for your mom?
- 42:05Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, because uh oh, I'm gonna say that now
- 42:11Speaker 2: that's that's a conversation y'all ain't ready to have yet.
- 42:14Speaker 2: I mean, here, tell all books, they can be tricky.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Sometimes they're all about clout and cash, not about honoring
- 42:20Speaker 2: the people they lost.
- 42:22Speaker 3: I know that diary is somewhere in existence, and I
- 42:25Speaker 3: know they are. She was un alive for it. In
- 42:30Speaker 3: my opinion, this so listen, mm hmm. Let's see, let's.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Shout out to Janeka and theysh their daughter Nammy a
- 42:48Speaker 2: happy sixty birthday.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Okay, that's fine. Oh what else?
- 42:55Speaker 2: What else you talked about Jay Leno on that thing
- 42:58Speaker 2: on his face.
- 43:00Speaker 9: M hmm.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Let's see, let's say nothing else? Really? Oh did we
- 43:06Speaker 2: did we talk about Walker Plocker? No?
- 43:09Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Allright, do you want to because he had the audacity
- 43:15Speaker 2: to speak out against the community after he after his
- 43:18Speaker 2: show's got canceled in d C. You're about oh he mad?
- 43:24Speaker 2: I mean you want to rival Trump and in that
- 43:26Speaker 2: surprise when everybody turned their back on you, that's what
- 43:29Speaker 2: he is. I mean, it's right there. He was out
- 43:32Speaker 2: there supporting the dude who's been known for stirring up divisions,
- 43:37Speaker 2: disrespecting our people. You out there waving bigger flags and
- 43:42Speaker 2: then expected folks to show up at your show like, hey,
- 43:46Speaker 2: gar here, let's turn up like no.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Now canceled, canceled, canceled.
- 43:53Speaker 2: I don't understand what what was the plan?
- 44:00Speaker 10: My god?
- 44:02Speaker 2: Meanwhile, black women out here, black women out here, get
- 44:05Speaker 2: to wear shirts talk about ninety two percent of us
- 44:09Speaker 2: have the right idea, ninety two percent of us. Meanwhile,
- 44:13Speaker 2: I gotta hold my head down because goddamn twenty two
- 44:16Speaker 2: percent of my gender is doing shit like walk of blocks.
- 44:22Speaker 2: I don't care about nothing else. That just pissed me off.
- 44:24Speaker 2: Let's just move on to the next topic, our next
- 44:27Speaker 2: damn segment.
- 44:28Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait, I had one more. We can't we
- 44:31Speaker 3: can't end on a bad note. Let's end on black
- 44:34Speaker 3: love with congratulations to Megan Good and Jonathan Majors, who
- 44:39Speaker 3: just revealed their engagements. Jonathan Major, is anybody surprised by
- 44:44Speaker 3: this now?
- 44:46Speaker 2: And you said end on a positive note? Said Jonathan?
- 44:50Speaker 3: Girl?
- 44:51Speaker 2: What off?
- 44:54Speaker 3: Hold on? Let's talk about this. What funck shit did
- 44:57Speaker 3: he do? Because I don't understand the hate. He's on
- 45:01Speaker 3: camera running away from that white girl. He didn't beat her,
- 45:04Speaker 3: he tried to get away from her.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Are you sure.
- 45:08Speaker 3: I seen I seen it? I seen it, you can
- 45:12Speaker 3: hear it. Let wen review the tape.
- 45:15Speaker 2: We will actually, let's save that for late. Let's put
- 45:19Speaker 2: a bookmark right here because I won't't be able to
- 45:21Speaker 2: pull up the information and not just wing it on.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Why all the reasons that I don't like Donathan Majors. Actually,
- 45:28Speaker 2: we'll discuss that on next week's show. You got anything
- 45:30Speaker 2: else for this second?
- 45:31Speaker 3: So no, that's it. We don't really care about anything else.
- 45:34Speaker 2: Next other cacasidy, We'll.
- 45:36Speaker 16: Be right back right now.
- 45:38Speaker 17: It's a lot of forces working real hard to divide
- 45:40Speaker 17: us man, from blaming immigrants to blaming Latinos to blaming
- 45:44Speaker 17: black people. It's a whole bunch of blame being pouring
- 45:46Speaker 17: out different ways. But I think we should never lose
- 45:48Speaker 17: sight of the plot. We gotta make sure that we
- 45:50Speaker 17: keep these young folks engaged in the political process and
- 45:53Speaker 17: making sure they show up and show out because guess
- 45:55Speaker 17: what we should already be thinking about twenty twenty eight,
- 45:58Speaker 17: And don't forget about the mid term of twenty twenty
- 46:00Speaker 17: six either. The young voting block in this country is
- 46:02Speaker 17: still the largest, most diverse voting like I'm talking about
- 46:05Speaker 17: the eighteen and thirty five range.
- 46:06Speaker 16: You feel me, the most diverse election is one fifth
- 46:09Speaker 16: of the electorate. One fifth. You can't let this disengage this.
- 46:12Speaker 17: We can't be stuck in the space with this leaves
- 46:14Speaker 17: us being discouraged, you feel me.
- 46:15Speaker 16: We gotta be able to put them.
- 46:16Speaker 17: Shoes on and keep on fighting and keep on rumbling,
- 46:19Speaker 17: because hey, man, as long as we're alive, it's gonna
- 46:21Speaker 17: be the fight we have to do. With that being said,
- 46:23Speaker 17: if you still look at stay engaged with what's happening politically,
- 46:26Speaker 17: with different issues, with different policies, with the politicians, stay
- 46:29Speaker 17: tapped in with next gen. They'll make sure us young
- 46:31Speaker 17: voters we stay engaged in what's happening because they know
- 46:34Speaker 17: the resilience of us.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Young folks is what's gonna change this country.
- 46:37Speaker 17: And they also acknowledge the record high voter turn out
- 46:40Speaker 17: for US young people eighteen thirty five.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Marg says, you're live, all right, Blacks, We're back. So
- 46:50Speaker 2: I wanted to talk about a comment that I read
- 46:53Speaker 2: earlier that said Trump about to send this bitch into
- 46:58Speaker 2: the Great Depression, and I can't wait. I pray y'all
- 47:01Speaker 2: get what y'all voted for. Black people. We are on
- 47:03Speaker 2: the sidelines laughing emoji, and it kind of got me
- 47:07Speaker 2: to thinking. And while I kind of have that same
- 47:10Speaker 2: sentiment that it's like he he, you know, y'all get
- 47:14Speaker 2: what you vote for, and you know, we're seeing all
- 47:17Speaker 2: these people, you know, fearing for their lives, their livelihood,
- 47:24Speaker 2: you know, not really knowing what tomorrow is gonna look
- 47:26Speaker 2: like for themselves. And we see all these we see
- 47:29Speaker 2: these narratives plan out, and us as black, a lot
- 47:32Speaker 2: of us as black people have kind of taken this
- 47:35Speaker 2: back seat to this idea of well, it ain't me,
- 47:39Speaker 2: I ain't vote for that shit. So I mean you
- 47:41Speaker 2: just gonna sit there and deal with it when the
- 47:44Speaker 2: actual idea, like what's going on even though we didn't
- 47:49Speaker 2: vote for sorry, even though we didn't vote for it,
- 47:53Speaker 2: we're still the target. And a lot of y'all have
- 47:57Speaker 2: to understand that, you know. It kind of made me
- 48:02Speaker 2: think about THEI and how there's like a war on
- 48:05Speaker 2: the eye, how there's a war on inclusivity and equality
- 48:11Speaker 2: and just making sure that everybody has everything, just the
- 48:15Speaker 2: sins that they need. We're not trying to overtake, we're
- 48:18Speaker 2: not trying to take more than what we need. We
- 48:21Speaker 2: just want the very bare minimums. And a lot of
- 48:24Speaker 2: people don't realize that this everything that's happening now is
- 48:31Speaker 2: a war on that. The Trump train, everybody that's like
- 48:38Speaker 2: in it. It illustrates white fear. Let's break it down,
- 48:43Speaker 2: white fear and greed. It's been a major pair of
- 48:46Speaker 2: folks rallying behind Donald Trump. It's like a bad reality
- 48:51Speaker 2: show where the rich just keep picking each other instead
- 48:54Speaker 2: of choosing people based on real talent. Cabinet picks. Many
- 48:58Speaker 2: of them are just rich folks with connections that's all
- 49:04Speaker 2: not exactly the best, not exactly the brightest. It's like
- 49:08Speaker 2: they're more interesting keeping their power than actually doing the
- 49:11Speaker 2: right job. And I mean even when you talk about
- 49:16Speaker 2: let's talk about your girl, what's her name? That that
- 49:19Speaker 2: white girl that sings something run fast? Oh, Taylor Swift,
- 49:27Speaker 2: that's her, don't get me wrong, Like she's got some bombs,
- 49:32Speaker 2: but we barely remember her songwherecs like she's everywhere, Like
- 49:37Speaker 2: that Auntie shows up uninvited at to cook out. How
- 49:39Speaker 2: does this happen? It's all about marketability and real art
- 49:43Speaker 2: over actual real artistry. She's a prime example of how
- 49:48Speaker 2: the industry delicious people who fit the mold instead of
- 49:51Speaker 2: those who actually bring something to the table. At the
- 49:53Speaker 2: end of the day, this will wake up call for us.
- 49:56Speaker 2: We need to be asking ourselves who we're lifting up
- 49:59Speaker 2: and why. The time to move away from the fear
- 50:03Speaker 2: and the greed that keeps us stuck and starts celebrating
- 50:07Speaker 2: the real talent and the diverse voices that make our
- 50:10Speaker 2: community shine. Like right now, we are under attacked and
- 50:14Speaker 2: we have to rise up. We do it. That's it,
- 50:20Speaker 2: that's our second half of the show. We shall be
- 50:22Speaker 2: right back.
- 50:24Speaker 18: There is no plan to jump Trump supporters. But what
- 50:26Speaker 18: if I said that I wish there was, if not
- 50:28Speaker 18: all of you, then certainly the most emboldent ones.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Now I'm not saying that.
- 50:33Speaker 4: But what if I was.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Would that be savage? Would it be violent? Uncivilized?
- 50:39Speaker 18: Because you know what I find violent and uncivilized unlating
- 50:43Speaker 18: a white nationalist as president, I would argue that the
- 50:46Speaker 18: entire US government is stained with violence, and nobody embodies
- 50:50Speaker 18: that more than Donald Trump. This is someone who uses
- 50:53Speaker 18: hate speech, who openly incites violence every chance he gets,
- 50:57Speaker 18: something that culminated in an insurrection where people died.
- 51:00Speaker 3: This is the same man who once.
- 51:02Speaker 18: Said that we need quote one really violent rough day
- 51:06Speaker 18: of police retaliation to reduce crime. Does that sound familiar?
- 51:09Speaker 18: I'm sure it does. Is the plot of the fucking Purge.
- 51:11Speaker 18: This is the same man who vowed to seek vengeance
- 51:13Speaker 18: towards his political opponents down to withholding disaster aid from
- 51:16Speaker 18: non compliance states that ain't violent as a base, Trump
- 51:21Speaker 18: supporters are so collectively violent that, regardless of the election results,
- 51:26Speaker 18: there were fears over how you motherfuckers would react had Kamalawan.
- 51:30Speaker 18: There were fears of a civil war, which really just
- 51:33Speaker 18: means y'all reigning terror on marginalized communities. Now that She's lost,
- 51:38Speaker 18: people are bracing for what the environment will be after
- 51:41Speaker 18: Donald Trump is sworn in. And let's be clear, there
- 51:44Speaker 18: is no far left in this country. Y'all made that
- 51:46Speaker 18: shit up, but I'm of the opinion that there should be.
- 51:49Speaker 18: This is not a call for political violence from the left.
- 51:51Speaker 18: There really couldn't be. We don't have the freedom, especially
- 51:53Speaker 18: as black and brown people, the freedom that allows white
- 51:56Speaker 18: supremacists to roam the.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Streets in red states.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Untouched by the way.
- 52:00Speaker 18: But it is me expressing that I'm tired of this
- 52:02Speaker 18: spineless as high road shit that Democrats take in the
- 52:06Speaker 18: face of very clear violence from not only Donald Trump,
- 52:09Speaker 18: but the people that support him and the system that
- 52:11Speaker 18: allows for a politician like him to exist in the
- 52:13Speaker 18: first fucking place. So, instead of using the same tactics
- 52:16Speaker 18: that got Rose would burnt down, you know those white
- 52:19Speaker 18: woman tears.
- 52:20Speaker 3: How about y'all be glad that you aren't getting your
- 52:22Speaker 3: asses wooked.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Have a nice day, jack us the word, take us
- 52:26Speaker 1: on a goo chake us wherever you go. W RTR
- 52:29Speaker 1: Real Talk Radio.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Inside the second half of the show Here on WRTR
- 52:34Speaker 2: Real Talk Radio, Mister Lyric, we got a letter who
- 52:39Speaker 2: it says, shout outs WRTR Real Talk Radio. Hey, y'all
- 52:43Speaker 2: just wanted to drop a note and say how much
- 52:45Speaker 2: I love your podcast. The energy you all bring is unmatched,
- 52:48Speaker 2: and I feel like I'm just chilling with friends every
- 52:50Speaker 2: time I tune in. Hey, one of my favorite moments
- 52:53Speaker 2: has to be when you guys went off on the
- 52:55Speaker 2: hilarious rant about the wildest things you've seen in public.
- 52:58Speaker 2: I was cracking up and couldn't think about I'm sorry,
- 53:01Speaker 2: and couldn't help but think about all the crazy stuff
- 53:03Speaker 2: we all experience. Y'all know how to keep us real
- 53:06Speaker 2: and keep us laughing. I've got a couple of fun
- 53:10Speaker 2: questions for you. First off, what's what's the most unexpected
- 53:16Speaker 2: moment you've had while recording? Has anything ever gone totally
- 53:21Speaker 2: off the rails? And secondly, if you could have anyone
- 53:24Speaker 2: as a guest on your show, Living or Dead? Who
- 53:26Speaker 2: would it be? And why keep doing what you do best?
- 53:30Speaker 2: You're bringing nice things, nice things, nice things, piece of positivity, Paula,
- 53:35Speaker 2: and she says, I'm from I'm from Houston.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Oh hey, h Towns. The funniest, the wildest.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Thing, he says, the most unexpected moment you've had while
- 53:52Speaker 2: recording MM.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Like as far as this platform now that we use,
- 54:01Speaker 3: or just in general, because the one that I would
- 54:05Speaker 3: have to say for me is when we were still
- 54:10Speaker 3: going to the studio and I think I was reading
- 54:16Speaker 3: I think I was reading a news to make U
- 54:18Speaker 3: nauseous thing and it was, Yes, it was a news
- 54:23Speaker 3: to make you nauseous. Somebody was touching on a mentally
- 54:26Speaker 3: challenged person or something and decides to start talking challenge person. Wow,
- 54:38Speaker 3: I'm sitting read the story and at first I didn't
- 54:43Speaker 3: catch on until I said something else. And this is
- 54:47Speaker 3: all on film too, by the way, like.
- 54:50Speaker 2: Not anymore, it's not hit the nuke on all the
- 54:52Speaker 2: whole joints. We are about.
- 54:55Speaker 3: Peace and I was the most unexpected and the wildest
- 55:00Speaker 3: and the funniest thing is I could not stop laughing.
- 55:06Speaker 3: I had to get myself together It took a good
- 55:09Speaker 3: ten minutes to like regroup and get myself together to
- 55:14Speaker 3: do the rest of that show. I was like, I
- 55:17Speaker 3: cannot believe this.
- 55:19Speaker 2: That was a lot of years ago, and a lot
- 55:22Speaker 2: of it was.
- 55:23Speaker 3: A long time ago. It was a long time that's
- 55:27Speaker 3: my mom.
- 55:29Speaker 4: Not.
- 55:30Speaker 3: I could not stop laughing.
- 55:33Speaker 2: But now so we are. We grew up, but we
- 55:38Speaker 2: kind of don't sometimes it's fine.
- 55:50Speaker 8: About it.
- 55:53Speaker 7: The mostexpected that I've had while recording vps to day,
- 56:02Speaker 7: back when we were on radio vps.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and I was overworked and fell asleep, like mid
- 56:08Speaker 2: sentence on a live TV You totally did oh man, Yeah,
- 56:19Speaker 2: that was crazy. I did. I was so, I'm so
- 56:22Speaker 2: glad I quit that job.
- 56:24Speaker 3: He was like me and ticker Man was looking at
- 56:27Speaker 3: each other, like what do we do? The show must
- 56:34Speaker 3: go on?
- 56:35Speaker 2: It must, it must.
- 56:38Speaker 4: I be shit.
- 56:40Speaker 2: I had a senior moment in my thirties. Stressful, it's
- 56:47Speaker 2: been twelve years. I mean, what the hell, let's see.
- 56:52Speaker 2: And secondly, if you could have anyone as a guest
- 56:54Speaker 2: on your show, living or dead, who would be And
- 56:57Speaker 2: oh what are you laughing at? What are you about?
- 57:00Speaker 2: What story are you about to recount?
- 57:05Speaker 3: I'm trying to think like as far as guests.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, I would want to Beyonce. I want to
- 57:17Speaker 2: sit down and talk to Sis and just be like,
- 57:19Speaker 2: you know, take me through, take me through a day
- 57:24Speaker 2: in your life. Like that's what I want to answer, Like,
- 57:27Speaker 2: I want to know what her busiest days look like,
- 57:30Speaker 2: because then that will help me gauge how hard I
- 57:34Speaker 2: would how I want. I want to talk to her,
- 57:39Speaker 2: solange why.
- 57:40Speaker 3: I want to know what the happened in that elevator.
- 57:44Speaker 2: You see what.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Made you go hand eggs on that nigga in the elevator? Man,
- 57:58Speaker 3: I was like, I was like wow, wow, And then
- 58:07Speaker 3: I'll never forget the iconic face that Beyonce was made
- 58:11Speaker 3: when she just stepped to the side and was.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Like, hn't got nothing to do with me. I'll step around, don't.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Step on my dress. When I say iconic.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Oh, Paula h. Town, thank you so
- 58:35Speaker 2: much for that letter. That was fun. Yeah, we've had
- 58:39Speaker 2: some moments, so unexpected moments while a for how long
- 58:43Speaker 2: we've been doing this show, and just the story that
- 58:47Speaker 2: we have, the stories that nobody will ever know about the.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Story heavy on that part.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Oh my god, it's so much anybody for.
- 59:01Speaker 10: I know it for this when I see one.
- 59:03Speaker 17: I've been around Penny hustling my whole life where you
- 59:05Speaker 17: gotta rob PDY to pay POL to Megan's meet and listen, man,
- 59:08Speaker 17: I know when you're trying to get over in you
- 59:09Speaker 17: finessing so pet game.
- 59:11Speaker 16: As Americans, how do we live the shortest lives and
- 59:13Speaker 16: have the most avoidable deaths, But the country spends more
- 59:16Speaker 16: money on health care than any other high income country.
- 59:20Speaker 16: Oh your reacht over research, The.
- 59:21Speaker 17: Study has shown that Americans are sicker, we die younger,
- 59:24Speaker 17: and a structle to for the central care. This is
- 59:27Speaker 17: all compared to our compadres. You feel me, all the
- 59:30Speaker 17: people that are countries. I mean that it's very similar
- 59:33Speaker 17: to our income.
- 59:34Speaker 3: No.
- 59:34Speaker 17: Studies really show that the United States lases international piers
- 59:37Speaker 17: considerably on healthcare system performance, which again begs the question, how.
- 59:41Speaker 16: We spending the most money on health care.
- 59:43Speaker 17: But we're doing the worst. Somebody finessing, somebody robbing PD
- 59:48Speaker 17: to pay Paul. And I think I got this little
- 59:49Speaker 17: illustration right here. Maybe that's able to tell us what's
- 59:52Speaker 17: going on. But speaking of illustrations, they go to study
- 59:54Speaker 17: right here that can give us more insight and illustration
- 59:56Speaker 17: on this little feeling system about healthcare system in the US,
- 1:00:00Speaker 17: especially when you compare it to the performance of ten
- 1:00:02Speaker 17: other countries located in the key finance area. Let's read
- 1:00:05Speaker 17: these sentences together, right. Although differences and overall performance between
- 1:00:10Speaker 17: most countries are relatively small, the only clear Outlaiyer is
- 1:00:14Speaker 17: that the United States, where healthcare system performance is dramatically lower,
- 1:00:19Speaker 17: but we spending the most money. In the conclusion of
- 1:00:23Speaker 17: that same study, the US continues to be in the
- 1:00:26Speaker 17: class by itself in the underperformance of its health care sector.
- 1:00:30Speaker 17: While the other non countries differ in details of their
- 1:00:32Speaker 17: systems and their domain performances.
- 1:00:35Speaker 16: Unlike the US, they all have found.
- 1:00:38Speaker 17: A way to meet their residents' most basic health care needs,
- 1:00:41Speaker 17: including universal coverage, which takes me back to the finesse
- 1:00:45Speaker 17: of robbing Peter to pay Paul. We got to get
- 1:00:47Speaker 17: the leaders and legislators in this country right here to
- 1:00:49Speaker 17: pay more attention to what the other people doing in
- 1:00:51Speaker 17: they countries, because they folks living in the longer.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: And we got to start.
- 1:00:54Speaker 16: By getting all the corporations out of our health.
- 1:00:56Speaker 17: Care system, because they the ones that's finessing and getting
- 1:00:59Speaker 17: profits at the the people.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Education is elevation.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Why do you have hy Why?
- 1:01:07Speaker 10: Why file?
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Why do my children hate me?
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Are Real Talk Radio?
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: Why did my vagina burns?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Is out there.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Explaining the unexplained, answering why the questions you want to know?
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: We're on social media Facebook at w RT Real Talk Radio,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: also on Instagram at the same name. This is the
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: WI files. Remember the truth is out there.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: It is, yes, it is.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Once you got this lyric.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: Let's see. Let's see what I got, What I got?
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: What I got? All right, let's see say what Boston say?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Why you said say what?
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: Oh damn, I'm tripping.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: You pulled a tickeer man.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: I sure did see. He threw me off. The most
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: wildest ship that goes on is this ship right here?
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: I have the whole segment is said. Fuck that segment? Yep,
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: oh start over?
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Why that person asks all them wild questions?
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: For?
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Uh? You talking about Paula?
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Paula.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I appreciate the listener. I don't, right, I appreciate the
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: listener letters though.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Jo, we like it now, But for real, my
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: wire comes from me? And why do schools be planning
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: all these fucking activities for these kids after hours, not
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: knowing what the parents got to do in the evening? Ohrd,
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: like what y'all got school buses and stuff for everything else,
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: but these after school.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Activities they don't have after school buses no more.
- 1:03:00Speaker 16: No.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: I was forever after school because Okay, while I didn't
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: do the sports, I was in every goddamn club. So uh, like,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: you know, especially the after school joints, Like there are
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: times up skip school they go to the after school club.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: So I don't know, Wow, what does it look like
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: as a parent now, Like, how do you manage that?
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: As best as I can? Jesus right honestly? Oh?
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Because the truth is out there?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: This one is from Stefan from DC. He'sent a why letter. Actually,
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: he said, I've been thinking about something that really grinds
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: my gears in the black community. Why do we sometimes
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: feel the need to tear each other down instead of
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: lifting each other up. It's frustrating to see so many
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: talented individuals not getting the sport they deserve, whether it's
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: a music business or just everyday life. He actually wrote
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: a longer letter, but that's the gist of it. So
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: to you, Stefan I will say crabs in a barrel syndrome.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I mean absolutely, it's a lot of that. Tearing people
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: down is unfortunately, what we're taught a lot in our communities,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: just from the stuff that we glorify to just our
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: everyday practices and a lot of us as you. I
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: don't know if you're in therapy or if you are
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: considering it, but one of the things that helps me,
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: or one of the things that's been beneficial in therapy
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: as I peel back the layers, is dissecting certain things
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: and parts of childhood that I thought were normal and
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: that were normalized. And this is just a blanket statement
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: for everybody. There's a lot of things that we went
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: through as children that we just normalized or swept under
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: the rug than like, you know, it is what it is,
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: and we you know, we've taken that with us into
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: our adulthood. So now you got a whole bunch of
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: grown ass kids out there trying to run the world.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: And it shows. So while we tear each other down,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: usually that answer is individual, but you could be the
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: change you want to see. Also, absolutely, that's always an option,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: it's right there. So I am I try to be
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: a better person every single day. I encourage you to
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: do the same. Thanks for listening, and that wraps it
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: up for this week's WI Files, you know the socials.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: We'll be back with news to making noxious. We're running
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: through this show today.
- 1:05:49Speaker 19: So I just saw a white lady, a mega mom
- 1:05:54Speaker 19: could play to the school board. Why her white daughter.
- 1:06:00Speaker 19: He called the black kids the n ord? So you
- 1:06:03Speaker 19: trying to go there now home gone ahead? Tried go
- 1:06:08Speaker 19: on people faces to call them the air ord to
- 1:06:10Speaker 19: see who gets slapped and knocked out. Y'all won the election,
- 1:06:15Speaker 19: but y'all ain't never finished start calling us the N word.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: But this white lady is in front of the schoolboy.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: She got the.
- 1:06:21Speaker 19: Nerd to complain about her white daughter. It's not allowed
- 1:06:25Speaker 19: to call the black kids the n ORB. I don't
- 1:06:30Speaker 19: know what got into y'all, white white people, but this
- 1:06:36Speaker 19: ain't gonna never happen.
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: There's gonna be.
- 1:06:38Speaker 19: A lot of motherfuckers in the coma if you think
- 1:06:41Speaker 19: that's gonna work. So please just enjoy y'all fucking victory
- 1:06:47Speaker 19: and lived the last four years in joy.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: But the disrespect for us, it will not continue.
- 1:06:54Speaker 19: And y'all ain't never finish call us the n Ord,
- 1:06:56Speaker 19: especially that in our face.
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: So try if you want to, tried, if you fucking
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: won't too.
- 1:07:07Speaker 20: Used to make a nauseous On w RT are Real
- 1:07:12Speaker 20: Talk Radio, Let's go.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Why are you falling out? I can't even start the segment?
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Why are you falling out?
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready. All right.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: These are some of the stories you might not read
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: about the New York Times, the Washington Post or the
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Wall Street Journal. Snooze making nauseous?
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: You can't go?
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Is this nauseating or you about to fall out?
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: WHOA, no, no, no, no.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: This is really fucked up.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Though, Oh God, say what, Boston, say what. A seventy
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: three year old woman now identified as Jerlene Brady McGuinness
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: suffered a ferocious pit bull attack in her own home. No,
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: though her husband tried to intervene, the animal attacked him
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: and ultimately killed its owner. At around four point thirty pm.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Brady McGinnis suffered severe injuries inflicted by her pit bull.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: Two police officers responded to the dog's dangerous behavior in Roxbury. However,
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: during the attack, the cops and Jerleine's husband were badly
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: wounded inside the couple's Massachusetts home. Boston Animal Control claimed
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: that the authorities shot at the animal to contain it,
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: that was when it finally stopped biting and attacking. At
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: this time, four people had already been injured, with Brady
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: McGinnis having the most injuries. Once they were able to
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: calm the situation, the seventy three year old, alongside of
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: the three others, were rushed to the hospital. However, the
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: dog owner died during surgery while her husband is still recovering.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: Jeane Maguire, a civil rights official and a friend to
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: the deceased, claimed that her arms were ripped apart.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: Per w b Z News. The friend maintained that the
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Brady McGinnis that Brady McGinnis was close to her pitmull
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: and other pets. As for the family, they hoped to
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: remember her as a woman with a gold heart. Her
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: three children confirmed that she was as caring as any
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: parent could be. They described her as the heart and
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: soul of the family, adding that she took care of everyone.
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: According to Boston Five, the police removed three other dogs
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: from the Massachusetts home amid the grief. Neighbors revealed that
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: they feared the animals in the home.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Wow, yep, that is heartbreaking. Oh my god, right before
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Thanksgiving to she was thanksgiving that Oh god, that is wow.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: That's why I don't like them dogs. I don't care
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: what nobody say. Oh, it's the owner, it's how they
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: raised them. Well, clearly that's not because.
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: You know this is this is a pitbull.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: I did not like them dogs.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: I mean people talking about, Oh, he doesn't bite that
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: motherfucker got teeth, don't it? Oh? Okay, he bites something
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: he eat.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Don'ty seventy three? The Wow, her arms.
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: Were ripped apart. Please, I will never own one.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: My god, say all right, say what Glenn Burney say?
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: Why So this past weekend in glen Burnie, Maryland, a
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: heartbreaking hitting one took the life of a thirty five
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: year old man. Okay, so the incident wanted. It went
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: down around like nine thirty when he was struck on
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: Richie Highway and sadly, the driver just took off, leaving
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: the person to fight for their life. Police are now
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: pleading for anyone with information to step up because this
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: kind of violence is not just tragic, it's infuriating to me.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Now it's nauseating even more to think that somebody could
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: care so little for another human being that they'd hit
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: and run, Like you hit somebody with your car and
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: you did not stop, Like even if it were an accident,
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: even if you know, Like there's a number of things
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: that can happen, but to inflict harm on someone or
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: to inflict like damage on them to that capacity at
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: night on a highway where literally it's already dark. It
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: get dark at three pm now, so I mean for
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: it to be nine thirty, you hit somebody and just leave?
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: What is going on?
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: People are cruel?
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: I just I read it and I thought about it.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I was just like that this is just more just
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: of a reminder of how hateful that this world is
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: and how hateful everything is going that's going down, And
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: I don't know, it's heartbreaking in some ways.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: But it really is.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Anyways, you got anything.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: Else, I don't have it pulled up. But what about
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: that doctor who was under fire for like skeating on
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: his employees?
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Did you hear what I've heard? Okay, so I heard
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: about this, but I think I mixed it up with
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: the story about the pastor that did the same thing.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: You just bring you to Evan or some ship. I
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: don't know. Yeah, like you got pastors to do that
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: talking about oh well you know you need to be
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: blessed than through my organ Yeah. So it's a whole
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: lot of nausea and shit. You know what, we should
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: probably do this segment at some point. We'll play it
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: for something else.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: All reading these stories sometimes this is this is why
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: I can appreciate us.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: No, But you know what, when we came out this
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: twelve years ago, it was on brand a little bit
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: more because I could break out into inappropriate voice and
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: make inappropriate jokes because we were in that space it
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: was age appropriate for us to be a little bit
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: more immature. But now looking at this segment, I'll be like, oh, like,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: what the hell? What is what can I make funny
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: about this? I can't.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: It's I mean, it's not even it's not even funny.
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: My thing is I like this segment because it's life.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: Whether we whether we change the name or not, these
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: type of stories are still going to happen and not
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: everybody is aware of like the fuckery that be going on,
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: And I like the fact that we are the ones
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: to bring it to them because some people don't know. Oh,
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: I found it. I found it. This could be the
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: last one. Okay, say what Arkansas? Of course it's Arkansas.
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: That's all you need to say. We can end the
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: segment right there. A doctor in northeast Arkansas is in
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: trouble after being extremely inappropriate at his medical practice. As
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: a result of him walking around nude and performing sexual acts,
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: his license was suspended.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: I would think so.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Corning news and walking around his neck.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: The video.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: I can't with the video video to me. Oh, someone
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: sent footage of doctor David Define to the Medical Board.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Find this just keeps getting better.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: Keep from twenty nineteen shows doctor Define walking in and
- 1:15:29Speaker 3: out of patient rooms, through hallways, and around his employees.
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: That at one point he walks into an office with
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: three women and performs a sexual act on one, later
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: ejaculating on her. To make matters worse, this was all
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: during business hours.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Oh not between the hours of nine and five and
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: exactly he sexually assaulted her. But he did it between
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: nine and five by just walking around the office with your.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Booty out like my sure and balls, just swinging swing work.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: The anonymous individual says that doctor Define used his position
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: of power sexual grooming salary increases to groom employees and
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: patients into repulsive sexual acts. Wait a minute, patients.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Who was going to doctor to find Oh you was
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: going to your next position?
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: What? Why are you still attend? What? Why would you
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: keep that appointment? If you know, he walking around just
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: balls out and you might just get on you like,
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: why would you?
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Wow, I'm not victim blaming. I'm just asking sly want
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: to know why did you keep your appointment?
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: He continued with the stethoscope and then his nutsack rest
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: on your kneecap.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: I don't I just I really want to know.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Really, this is aw I do want to see the video, though.
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: I'm sending it to you. Shockingly, this isn't his first
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: time encountering trouble. In January, someone went to the board
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: about to find posting nudes on his social media. In response,
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: he said he is promoting body positivity and he is
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: a naturalist. We do not shame, sexualized fear or negatively
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: stigmatize the naked body, he said to the board, and
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: he was also investigated for a legally dis distributing pain
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: medication in twenty seventeen and twenty eleven.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Wow, okay, so how was this practice open this long?
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: And nobody questioned, like, how did this go on for
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: all of this time? And nobody was like, hey, sis,
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: so why are you adopted that? Like nobody asked the question. Nobody, nobody.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: I just I don't understand.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I don't want to. Oh, you just sent me the video.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: This bullshit up now.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Was taking family practice in it.
- 1:18:18Speaker 20: Be seen dread including in the hallway between patient grooms,
- 1:18:23Speaker 20: Oh my god.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: And shows him in the receptionist area walking around and
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: performing a sense directly in front of one of the wool.
- 1:18:34Speaker 13: Ejaculating on her.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: Oh skeet mother. He took from the windows to.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: The walls, hold on and sweat dropped all down his boss.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: And they are just sitting there in the office like
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: just another day in the office, Like he didn't walk
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: by knock somebody's coffee cups off the table.
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: With this off then bribe them with raises. That's wild,
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: bribe them with raises.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: The word porn pawns more nauseating news stories. Make sure
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: you follow us at our social media's w R T
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: R radio. I'm at M A R C U S
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: s C. That is market smooth.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: Look bravado on Facebook and on Instagram and on TikTok because.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: You d.
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: Slash X.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: It's done though, Yeah, I kill all of them with.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: Fast because I don't use that one anymore.
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: All right, I'm next on real talk what has gradually
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: disappeared over the the last twenty years without people really noticing.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: You'll be right back.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: If a black person can say the word, a white
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: person can say the word. If a black person can
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: do as a white person.
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: Can, If a white person can curse out a cop
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: and not get killed for it, a black person should
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: be able to curse out a cop and not get
- 1:20:14Speaker 8: killed for If a white mass shooter can walk into
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: a church and blow away innocent people and get burger
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: king afterwards, then a black person should be able to
- 1:20:22Speaker 8: get pulled over for a traffic violation and not get killed.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: If white people can storm the capitol.
- 1:20:28Speaker 8: In smear feces all over it because their president didn't
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: win an election, then black people should be able to
- 1:20:35Speaker 8: burn down anything that we want to riot and loot
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: in the streets all day for all of the killing
- 1:20:40Speaker 8: that y'all do to us on a regular basis in
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: this country. If a white person can build their whole
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: career off of black talent and what black people have
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: done that they had nothing to do with creating, but
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: merely imitate it. Then a black person should be able
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: to get paid to sit on this app and do nothing.
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: And PS, we know y'all say the N word. You're
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: not asking our permission. You just want to be able
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: to say it without getting fucked up for doing it.
- 1:21:05Speaker 20: Are one hundred. It's real job. W rt are Real
- 1:21:11Speaker 20: Talk Radio. We keep it real.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: We're back blacks inside another edition of Real Talk here
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: on wrt R. So I decided to switch it up,
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: must have some fun. This week. We had somebo guys online.
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: I asked a question. I said, what has gradually appeared
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: over the last twenty years without people really noticing? And
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: you are very kind in your responses. You want to
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: give yours first?
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: I say morals and integrity because I'm trifling out here
- 1:21:48Speaker 3: in these streets for real, for real, And Glenn.
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: Berner, you are, I'll tell you that.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: Huh.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: The car Hello, let's see, says verbal communication. Angela Montgomery said,
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: CD players family dinner time, the D players they are.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: People don't have CD players anymore.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: They're no, we're streaming. We need to see what I'm saying.
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: You don't have your blue tooths. No more turning bluetooth,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: your blu rays.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: No. I don't even watch DVDs like at this point.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: It's there for decoration. If I do have one like that,
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: top of that, let me find my little site that
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: I'll be watching in mind, because.
- 1:22:37Speaker 16: Now then I'm old.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: I'm old at this point because I'm having stuff I
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: still have, like box sets of DVDs of old shows
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: and stuff that I want. I don't know.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: Maybe my mom and them do too, Like the movies
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: that we actually shoot. I can't even say VHS tapes
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: they still got m me watching them though they did
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: for decoration.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: Car uh like, hey, can you play this?
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying now? Mm hmmm.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: Nne Higgins says, families, let's see Chanelle Jones humanity.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: M hmm.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Mark James echoes humanity and says common sense of y'all
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: common sense.
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: That's true statement there, But was it ever?
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: I mean, did it disappear or.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: Common sense back then than they do now?
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: Mm hmm.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Okay, that was not my experience. Okay, now, Row says
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: phone books and phone boosts, I think those were Dwindom
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: and long before I really got few be care to
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: be honest with you? Uh, he says, hard copy media, movies,
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: music books. We just talked about that a little bit.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Le Roy Bugs says, genuine people. Now that one resonates
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: all family gatherings and family in general.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: Uh, let's see see a lot of people what you got.
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: Darren Anderson says the beauty of writing in cursive, which
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: is so true because a lot of schools don't even
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: teach that anymore.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I was so shocked to hear that. I was shocked
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: to hear that. M So people really don't like, they
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: don't teach it at all. So if I wrote like
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: gen z will be.
- 1:24:47Speaker 3: Like, what the fuck is that? We're emojis? They would
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: have no clue of what it is.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Wait, so how are y'all signing check? They who signs checks?
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: A lot of you don't even do checks no more.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: Okay, how are you signing your paperwork? Because people still
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: have to sign paperwork.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: It's like you're still I feel like that's even gonna
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: get phased out because a lot of doctors' offices they
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: have tablets now where you could just do your finger
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: like that and that's your signature. Like, honestly, we.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: On a reset and technology is gonna drop. It ain't
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: nobody gonna know what to do. Somethings gonna happen with technology. Ever,
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: you're talking about aliens coming them, bitch is gonna show up,
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: burn our eyebrows out or something, fuck us up, and
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: we're gonna be right back the rubbing sticks together.
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: Anyway, I had one for me that I did not write,
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: but I will say here. Now everybody did say family,
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: family gatherings, this, that and the third, but I would
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: say family traditions. A lot of people are not holding
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: their family traditions as high on the pedestal as they
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: used to. I think that's sad.
- 1:26:02Speaker 2: And you know what, that is a perfect segue into
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: my answer, And I said people's sense of self. And
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: I think it ties into what you're saying, because where
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: you say like family, you know, morals and things of
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: that nature. A lot of times people's sense of self.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: I've noticed over the years people don't really know who
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: they are. And it's like this world forces you or
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: tries to force you to be a certain way, to
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: serve a certain purpose, to do what they want you
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: to do, and us as humans. As humans, we're not
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: meant to serve somebody else's purpose. We never were. We're
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: creave beings. We're beings that go out here and we
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: think outside the box. We create, we make things.
- 1:26:57Speaker 21: We we just we're not meant to be forced into
- 1:27:04Speaker 21: all of these I guess bossible we are, and it
- 1:27:08Speaker 21: makes people's sense of self go away.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Think about all the times that you grew up and
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: you wanted to try something, or you wanted to do
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: something you were told either sitting or you shouldn't. As
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: a result, you know, I ain't talking about nothing dangerous,
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: but I'm just talking about just you know, express it.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: You know, you can't be too expressed. You can't be
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: too this, can't be to that. And a lot of
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: you fuck your kids up when y'all are out here
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: trying to force it. Because let's be honest, a lot
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: of parents, when they go out here and they start families,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: if their kids aren't spitting images of themselves, they tend
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: to wig a little bit. They do, and this create
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: like they try to force them into certain personas they
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: try to make them be the person that they think
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: that they want to be, instead of actually celebrating and
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: letting them be and develop who they are. So a
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: lot of us don't get there until we're adults. Yeah,
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: and it's done. It stifles your sense of self, it
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: really does. You don't know who you are until you're
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: actually able to disconnect. How many times have you seen
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: people talk about how they had to move away in
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: order to find themselves? And that is because you have
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: to disconnect from what you're told to be or what
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: you're expected to be to actually become who it is
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: that you really are sometimes and that's not for everybody,
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: but the sense of self is a lot if you
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: look at going on out here into this world, in
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: this world, that's what it is.
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: I agree with that, just like a lot of people
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: who are sheltered. I wouldn't say that I was sheltered,
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: but there were definitely moments where I felt like I
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: should have been able to like go and do certain things.
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: You know, I was a great student, great kid, did
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: what I was told, you know what I'm saying. And
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: it was more so like, oh, we trust you, but
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: we don't trust those people. Well, you know, I need
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: to learn and grow and be able to like do stuff.
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: So a lot of people who have been sheltered are
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: their life and not able to do certain things. By
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: the time they get out of the house, they wile
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: out and make all types of WOWD decisions and be
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: impulsive and stuff like that. So yeah, I definitely can
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: agree with you on that.
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: Oh well, let's see, let's read a few more and
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: then we can wrap it up. Let's see, Like I said,
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: a lot of people say common sense. Yep, that's a lot.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Oh human connection. Human connection, because you know, whoever tell
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: here connecting them.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: Spreading his humans.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: And I'm just saying a place people, Trent Hunter says,
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: young people's work ethics. Y'all gonna stop shitting on the
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: all the young people.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: I have to disagree, and so do I.
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: Because I think these young people, uh, I think they
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: have a lot more together than we did.
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: I can at least, let me just say this, I
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: have not seen it. I have not seen the influx
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: of lash, self made lash technicians, girls that do hair wigs,
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: have their new businesses, nail like these These young people
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: are out here getting to the back. What y'all are
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: talking about, the vast majority of young people are getting
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: to the back. There's a lot of young self made
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: millionaires out now they really are going into tech and
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: all sorts of things. So we can't say that speak
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: for those.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: Friend Yeah, that must be a personal thing. Josha Price
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: says democracy. We talk about that weekly. Uh. Menu Cook
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: says privacy, morals, family units, reships. Oh, the list can
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: go on. Sounds like you need better people around.
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: You for sure. For Sean Robinson says chivalry.
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: Oh that's a good one. Yeah that ship, that ship
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: was in danger before twenty years ago. If it's extinct now,
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: it makes sense. But anyway, let's see Angela Montgomery letter
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: writing slash sending cards.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: You know a good one. That is My mom would
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: to write those Christmas cards and used to make us
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: do thank you cards for when we have like birthdays
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: and people send us stuff. She used to literally sit
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: us down, Okay, so and so sent you this, send
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: them a thank you card. And people don't no more.
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: They really know what I've seen. If you really look
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: at the decline, it started with okay, so it cards,
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: and then the internet came around. So then everybody at
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: the early two thousands would always send you those e
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: cards remember that ship, And then like you'd be in
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: your office and then you get like this little glitter
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: ass emoji ship looking like, what was it? What was that?
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: Damn website? Come on, black plan look.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Like Please don't bring up black planets and bad memories.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: Why bad about black I don't want to talk about it.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: A good experience on black planet?
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: Oh my god, my geets, make sure you licked my
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: ge spot on your.
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: Little glittery tongue and nasty. That was more of a
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: my Space girl.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: I liked my.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: Space you and Tom was so cute. No, I kicked
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: out of my out of my ship. As soon as
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: I got me an account, I'm like, who's this? I
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: don't even notice? Motherfuckero.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: I came across. I came across a recent article about
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: Tom talking about how he's a you know, he was
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: a millionaire and this that the third because you know
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: he was smart, soul, you know his stuff, and now
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: he I don't know gross plant or some ship. I
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: don't know gross plants or some ship. I don't know
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: something something like, something very very basic that I can't remember.
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: We're right in front of me, but I got what
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: you got.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: I'm so sorry if I say this name wrong. BNOI
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: brown concern for others dignity and self respect.
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: Wow, that's true now because people will see some fun
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: shit happening and they don't even stop it anymore. Now
- 1:34:23Speaker 2: people immediately reh and record that shit. Like you see
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: people getting beat down, you see people getting hit by
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: cars on like people falling on the subway platform and
- 1:34:36Speaker 2: people will pull out their phones before they extend their
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: arm to help them out of the goddamn are off
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: the subway train tracks, Like what are you doing? When
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: Christian says our voting rights? U Aztec God, it says
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: butterflies and frogs.
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: Butterflies the spirit I just seen today? Did you a
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: real pretty one too? So I can't say I agree
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: with that. Frogs. I don't really funk with frogs. Man.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: I did see I did see in real life, like
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: that was a couple of years ago. They had to
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: be at least like six seven years ago. I saw
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: a frog in real life like where I live. Damn
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: a frogs, I.
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: Don't think so. I just think the niggas be staying
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: in the swamp and stuff because they legs.
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: Like that, you're not gonna eat my legs. I need
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: these legs.
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: Frogs have figured out that y'all are they have. The
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: frogs are like, oh, leave me out of y'all got
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: enough problems, big ribbon bitch, get out of my way.
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: Wrapping this thing up. This lyric gott anything else from
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: all about.
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: Let's see what a meanie Weeks say. Did she say this?
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: Which thing?
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: Keep your legs closed? Married man? Okay, Oh that's all
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: I have to say.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: Oh well, there you go. That wraps it up. This
