One of my main issues growing up was when I had to change my job. My parents could never understand why, despite telling them it was a better position, more money, a better company. Their take was, you get a job and you keep it for as long as you can and even if you are not happy, that's it. You can't have what you want. But that was exactly the opposite of I thought because I was ambitious and I was already a go-getter.
