- G.K. Wallace (00:00) They start out and say there is an outer faith, and there is an inner faith. Now what do they say? Outer faith comes from reading the Bible. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Brother Wallace, that's outer. The Corinthians hearing and believing, that's outer faith. That has nothing to with your salvation. You can read every word of this Bible and believe every word of it. That has nothing to do with you being saved. That's legalism and dogmatism. What are you going to be saved? You've got to inner faith. How do you get it? Reading the Bible? No. How do you get it? You just get out of here and say, Lord, down thy saving power. And that's the heart of Calvinism. Calvinism taught that God imputed faith separate and apart from obedience.
